Welcome to SportsCastr News on Lord Tone with your Monday Morning edition reviewing Week 11.
This is the Tennessee Titans at the Baltimore Ravens.
The A F C South to a F C. South.
Leading teams show grit and determination and comeback victories in their winds.
Tennessee coming back from a late third quarter 11 point deficit to defeat the Baltimore Ravens in overtime, 30 to 20 for the Titans Ryan Tannehill show that he is once again a very good quarterback in the NFL.
And not just a game manager.
Only 22 of 31 259 yards, two touchdowns, one interception.
However, Ryan Tannehill ran the ball four times for 35 yards, and a few of those runs were just impressive.
Ryan Tannehill outdueled Lamar Jackson in this game in the first half, Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry were held in check by this Baltimore defense.
They came back in the second half.
The big story is on two plays, one of which was a J.
Brown, who was held completely out of this game until the second half, and then A J.
Brown makes a catch about 10 yards shy of the end zone.
Three defenders have him wrapped up and somehow gets out of the tackle and bullies his way into the end zone, showing an just a willingness willingness not to give up and to not be stopped until he got into the end zone.
Corey Davis had himself a game five catches, 113 yards on seven targets.
The 28 yards, 133 28 carries, 133 yards and a touchdown.
A little bit of a misnomer.
Majority off those yards coming in the second half, and over time, this team really fought hard to defeat the Baltimore Ravens.
Lamar Jackson Onley 17 of 29 186 yards, one touchdown, one interception.
Dobbins ran the ball well, 15 carries, 70 yards a touchdown.
He took off with it 13 times for 51 yards, less than four yards to carry.
The Titans seemed to be ready for Lamar Jackson, taking off with the football Gus Edwards on.
Lee had three carries for six yards, two yards a carry.
The real always saving grace in this game in the receiving game was Mark Andrews, who came up with big catches in this game.
Targeted seven times, five catches, almost 100 yards with 96 a touchdown in a beautiful touchdown toe.
To be precise, I this.
Now this loss for the Baltimore Ravens drops them to six and four, and they are currently on the outside looking in to the playoffs this year on the outside, looking in.
Who would have thought 11 weeks into the NFL that the Baltimore Ravens would not even be set to play in the playoffs? Unbelievable.
They have lost so many of their last five games.
They have just not look the same.
Just not the same.
It seems like Lamar Jackson is, um, starting to break down a little bit.
Indecisiveness, bad passing.
It also does not help that that interception he threw was terrible.
We're on the flip side.
The Tennessee Titans showed the great determination to not be left out of this game.
They came back like I said 11 points down in the what five minutes left in the third quarter to take this game into overtime and win it.
Derrick Henry was so much of a focus by the Baltimore Ravens in this game that when they went for two, when the Tennessee Titans scored a touchdown and went for two, that the entire defense went after Derrick Henry on the play action and Ryan Tannehill skit basically into the end zone for the two point conversion and also because they were so focused on Derrick Henry, they brought all their defense up in overtime on a on a Derrick Henry Carey.
And because they were not able to bring him down at the second level.
There was no one in the third level to stop Derrick Henry as he broke free of a tackle and walk off the wind in overtime.
And that's how the Tennessee Titans one.
