how everybody and welcome into the broadcast.
I'm Samuel Ray is coming to you live here on SportsCastr now.
I just probably witnessed the craziest soccer game in the history of the sport between Orlando City and New York City.
FC Orlando ultimately won on penalty kicks.
I'll tell you all about it at halftime of this game, but hopefully this game will be just as exciting as that game.
But it's gonna be a hard feet to accomplish, that's for sure, as I'll be covering the Columbus Crew and the New York Red Bulls, which is already underway about nine minutes in from Columbus, Ohio.
And it will be a corner kick for the crew coming up just absolutely insane, Everything going on.
So the New York City Orlando game started at Noontime Eastern, with the assumption that it would be over in plenty of time for this Columbus Red Bulls game, which are both on the same network in, uh, Unimas and to do any.
But the Orlando New York City game was just absolutely insane.
Went all the way to penalty kicks.
It was so much drama in the PKK's.
The game just ended about three hours and 15 minutes after it began.
And Columbus in the New York Red Bulls eventually just started their game.
Uh, not wanting to wait any longer.
And so sorry I'm a little late to the start, but here we are.
It's the first round of the 2020 MLS playoffs, and so far these MLS playoffs have not disappointed in the slightest.
Through three games we had the two playing games last night.
I was on the call from Montreal, New England, which was an absolutely fantastic game, the first round getting underway today and my oh my, what a way to get the first round started with that Orlando New York City game Just truly remarkable.
I'll get into all of the details at halftime recapping that one.
Meanwhile, we're 10 minutes into this one between Columbus and the Red Bulls, a man down for Columbus and it appears as though it's Harrison fool.
Thank you for joining the broadcast.
Yeah, or Karen lives.
I appreciate it, fool.
Jog off to the side and let's get to the starting lineups for Columbus.
I'll get you it after this corner kick.
As a matter of fact, celery on will put it into the 18 yard box on the in swinger to the near post.
It's headed up into the air.
NEW YORK looking to clear the red Bulls wearing their great kits this afternoon.
Columbus in all black with the yellow numbers cut into Zara's artist, trying to return it to Zeller Eye on.
But it's stolen.
What? You're one with the long ball down the sideline.
Race down in the space is Tom Barlow, but that cross did taken a flexion, chilly day in Columbus, Ohio, a rainy one as well.
It will be a corner kick for New York.
Remember, it's win or go home.
Single elimination throughout these MLS playoffs, here comes the corner kick for New York.
Florian Velo will take it.
Good ball in towards the back post, but it gets through everyone.
And now it's Derek et en.
It looks to clear, but the Red Bulls back with it.
Their city rivals N Y C F C.
Knocked out moments ago by Orlando, this is the 36 matchup the Columbus Crew, the three seed New York Red Bulls to six seats.
All right, let's quickly go over the starting lineups.
The Columbus Crew are led by Caleb Porter.
Have alloy room and goal in the back of Harrison Fool Jonathan Mensah.
Josh Williams in Milton Valenzuela, the two holding Mids Air Darlington, Nagbe and Archer.
Rest of midfield made up by Darragi, TN, Lucas's Ella Ryan and Pedro Santos.
And the lone striker up top is US international G Yossi Zardari's.
Meanwhile for the visiting New York Red Bulls, who are led by the Austrian Gerhard Struver, have Ryan Manyara in goal in the back.
Jason Pen, Don Aaron Long, Tim Parker and Kyle Duncan.
The two holding Mids.
Sean Davis, Andrew Yearwood.
Rest of the midfield, made up by Florian Val.
Oh, the youngster, Caden Clark and Daniel Royer.
Up top is Tom Barlow.
So both coaches going with a 4231 formation, as were 13 minutes in and a free kick here for the crew to the near side.
It goes with Valenzuela head Thio Pedro Santos Santos going forward in a heavy challenge from Sean Davis as he commits the foul free kick coming up for Columbus.
Davis ended up getting a bit injured on that play, but when you go in like that, the odds are you're gonna be called for a foul.
And so here comes the free kick.
Standing over it.
Both Zeller Ion and Santos Santos will take it a good ball in just out of the reach of Zarya's the header to the edge of the box.
Nagbe will head it down to Santos Santos back into the 18 yard box, once again cleared by the Red Bulls.
But back with the crew.
What a day so far of MLS playoff action as this clearance was blocked by the good hustle of Daniel Royer.
Appreciate you guys tuning in as always, about 15 minutes in.
No score from Ohio.
Nice control there you would going in for that tackle, but it was one in the end by Valenzuela.
Back with the Red Bulls.
Here's Aaron Long and now, all the way back for goalkeeper Ryan Mayora.
Yara to Kyle Duncan or nice effort by Duncan just couldn't keep it in play on a Maradona trying to get into space.
Throwing here will be taken by Milton Valenzuela.
I'll move it over to the far side.
Here's the service in and getting ahead to it was Lucas Celery on sent wide right of the post.
It was always gonna be tough, but it was actually a great delivery and celery in nearly made the most of it.
Derek Eaton on the service, Zola Ryan just a little off balance on the header and couldn't steer it on target, although he was close to doing so.
New York will play it out of the back, and that's a foul against New York free kick coming up for the crew as Darlington Nagbe was taken down.
The winner of this game will play the winner of the Toronto Nashville game, which will take place on Tuesday.
The rest of the playoffs is bracketed as the ball in Georgia's Heather is saved by me, Ara, a fantastic effort by Zardari's.
But he was denied on a great save by Ryan Miyahara.
Wow, thank you for joining the broadcast.
Not you're stepping stone.
And so here comes the corner kick for the crew.
It's an outswinger, another header and it's carried over the bar by Mutiara.
It was Jonathan Mensah, the right center back who was left wide open in the 18 yard box.
Nearly was ableto roof that just underneath the bar.
But Miyahara was alert, making the safe in another corner kick coming up for the crew from the same location.
So now it's swinger lands into the feet of Darlington, Nagbe on a foul against New York.
Free kick here for the crew as the foul was committed by it looked like Yearwood.
And indeed it waas, so it's a set piece in a dangerous area.
Zella Ryan was the one taken out on the foul.
He wants a yellow card given to you or what, but it's not going to be given.
Although year what will be on a thin line going forward, you'll have to be careful the rest of the way.
And so on the free kick, it looks like it will be Archer to take it, although that remains to be seen.
They've got to get the ball first.
Neil Neil The score.
19 minutes into this one from Mapfre Stadium, Zella Ryan will require medical attention as he jogs off to the sideline to be looked at.
Meanwhile, Columbus will temporarily played down the man here.
Here's the service clear by New York you would send to the way and now would be tracked down by Ah, fool for Columbus.
Zara's heads it out wide into space.
Here's Pedro Santos Santos TTN The cut back to Zara's was cut out.
Columbus look to quickly take the throwing Kate and Clark just 17 years of age.
He's 5 ft 11 £155 and the youngster making his first MLS Cup playoff appearance and starting as well for the Red Bulls.
He's really had a phenomenal year, and it's crazy to think that he's just 17 years old.
Once again, the throwing for Columbus, a zit, was last off of tend on back to Darlington Nagbe.
Nagbe, who made himself well known when he was with the Portland Timbers, then went to Atlanta United, were never really worked out for him now with Columbus.
And I'd say he's done pretty well this season, and it's, Ah, not really too much of a surprise, considering that he's playing for his former coach in Portland, Caleb Porter.
It was obvious who obviously was a big fan of Darlington Nagbe when he coached him with the Timbers, now brought him over to the crew, and he's been a nice asset for this Columbus team he's given away in the midfield by the crew.
Yearwood back for Tim Parker.
Now, why do Kyle Duncan, 12 year, would looking to return it to Duncan but unable to do so.
And Columbus will win the throwing 21 minutes gone.
Nil nil in this one, throwing down the sideline and a foul called against Gardez as he might have slightly pushed off on Tim Parker, captain, played by Santos Darlington.
Nagbe ZPass intercepted by the Red Bulls and now on the right wing cross sentence.
But it was cut out as Tom Barlow was looking for a teammate kept alive, though, by the Red Bulls.
Now it's back onto the feet of Al.
Oh, but the flag has been raised and off sides against New York.
Very chilly day, indeed, in Columbus, by the way, the coaches and substitutes are dressed up.
There are a few fans allowed.
I'm I don't know exactly how many, but there are some fans in attendance.
Yeah, well, it's 47 degrees could be worse, but now the Red Bulls have space.
A nice through ball on the end of it is pendant dependent back four year would and curling into the far post it Comes Out and Fired Home by Caden Clark.
23 minutes in, and it's the 17 year old who puts the Red Bulls on the board.
First it's Columbus Nil, New York one and after the crew not dominated possession but had the majority of the possession, were controlling a majority of the first quarter of this game.
New York against the run of play score a goal.
It was a Miss clearance from Harrison Fool and Kate and Clark was right there, and I'm not sure if you got the cleanest strike.
I'm not sure if he struck that one exactly like he wanted to, but in the end, it worked out because that strike went right into the ground.
First took a high hop to the right corner, giving me Ara not or rather, giving room.
Not much of a chance, but Kate and Clark will take it nonetheless, and the youngest player on the pitch of just 17 years of age finds the back of the net and the Red Bulls, trying to pull off the upset, get the opening goal against the Columbus Crew.
The higher seed, a k a.
The home team has won all three MLS playoff games so far, the Red Bulls looking to change that here in the second of two games on this Saturday, we'll see three first round games tomorrow and then three on Tuesday.
Thank you, Betsy, for joining the broadcast.
Here is Josh Williams.
We'll see what the response is from Columbus Darlington Nagbe out wide on the far side with Artur Celery on a nice move to get by the defenders.
Ella Ryan out wide.
Making the run is Valenzuela cuts it into Santos, who goes down and a penalty kick given and the Red Bulls lead may be short lived as true.
Yearwood took down Pedro Santos.
There was no doubt from the referee, and it seemed like the right decision as well.
Valenzuela cut it back to Santos Santos, just with a quick little touch to the inside, and you would just came in and took out Santos at that point and the Columbus Crew with a chance to tie it in.
The man who is fouled we'll take the penalty kick.
Pedro Santos will look thio level this one at one apiece.
Thank you for the tip, etc.
Much Appreciate it.
Santo squeaks it in and the Columbus Crew pull level three minutes after the Red Bulls took the lead.
Columbus have an answer.
I'll tell you what.
The accuracy spot on on the strike from Pedro Santos.
There wasn't much power generated on the strike, and me are the goalkeeper of the Red Bulls guessed the right way just couldn't quite get there as Santos was ableto tuck that one in bottom right corner and it's Columbus Crew one.
New York Red Bulls one.
What's going on, Alex? Welcome into the broadcast.
Hope you're doing well, Alex.
And thanks for joining me.
It's been an epic day in the MLS playoffs so far.
The craziest game I've ever seen ended about 20 minutes ago between New York City FC and Orlando City, where Orlando ultimately won in penalty kicks.
Just Unreal game.
And now the Columbus Crew in New York Red Bulls.
We'll wrap up the double header of action today in the MLS Cup playoffs first round, and it's pretty much impossible toe ask for this game to provide as much entertainment as the Orlando New York City game did.
But it's already been a good start There's nothing like MLS Cup playoff action, especially in these winner go home games, is that was a great delivery from Yearwood and just not able to get there in the end with Daniel Royer.
So close was Royer to getting a foot on it, another great opportunity for the Red Bulls, but just sent wide.
It was slightly redirected by Royer but just couldn't get enough on it.
And so 28 minutes and it remains 11 as a lawyer room takes the goal kick for the crew.
Santos, the through ball Shirley Offsides was Derek et en, and indeed, he waas.
The flag was raised as that TN was quite a ways off side.
At least it appeared that way in real time.
The flag went up and free kick for the Red Bulls as we near the half hour mark this fall sent down the sideline and now played back to room under a bit of pressure.
First time we'll have to clear one back by New York in the midfield and that's out of play down the sideline, throwing coming up for the crew throwing towards Ah RDAs had Duncan d****d all over him, but no foul called Columbus, working it out of the back now, as it will be sent forward by are full half an hour gone 11 between the Columbus Crew and the New York Red Bulls.
Multiple headers, ball still in the air and eventually controlled by Josh Williams.
Darlington Nagbe in the midfield will lay it out wide for Valenzuela.
I'm go out of play for, Ah, New York! Throwing okay, Both teams on the board each scoring within a span of three minutes.
First it was Kate and Parker.
Sorry, Kate and Clark.
Excuse me, The 17 year old and then on a penalty kick, it would be Pedro Santos who would find the equalizer on a foul committed there by Ah, fool.
Down went Florian Vallo.
And it will be a free kick in a good area for the New York Red Bulls.
Yeah, eso We'll see what type of delivery Val Oh can deliver here.
Alright, Here it comes, Velo, with the ball towards the back post and the header into the arms of room.
It was Royer who got there for the for New York.
But in the end room made quite a comfortable, safe Meanwhile, at the other end will have offsides against Santos.
Columbus can be lethal on the counter attack, but we've seen on multiple occasions now that they've been, they've been caught offsides, a little too eager, going forward in the Red Bulls, holding that high line and succeeding in doing so as well.
I mean, we're all tied up goal kick for the crew, both teams going back and forth in the early stages.
Here come New York, the Red Bulls going forward.
That past played behind Clark.
Zara is there, and now Santos, with the long ball down the right side, can't be chased down by Derek Ettien.
The clearance comes from Jara Valenzuela with the header for Columbus that they'll play it straight out of bounds.
They were looking to switch Fields throwing for New York, and Penn Don will take it as we approach final 10 plus minutes of this opening half win or go home, the winner will move on to the conference semifinals to face either Toronto or Nashville.
Red Bulls win a throne again.
This time, it's a year one to take it.
Nope, rather, that was, bend down again.
Excuse me Columbus, Get it out of their half.
Now Back with it is Kyle Duncan Duncan.
Two year would you Would went down and the foul called against Santos Santos claiming his case but the referee not having any of it.
Kid quickly taken, but the crew have it right back.
Santa Stoke gives it away.
Still there By Tim Parker.
Reminder that MLS the MLS Cup final will be on December 12th right around the corner.
These playoffs will go by extremely quickly with everything with everything affecting the season earlier on because of co vid and also the fact that the CONCACAF Champions League will resume right after resume and finish all in Orlando right after the MLS Cup final.
I'll be on the call for that one.
Be on the call for plenty of MLS playoff games here on SportsCastr.
So don't miss out because the MLS playoffs never seemed to disappoint and they haven't disappointed so far.
That's for certain.
Just three games in in the Western Conference will be introduced to the playoffs tomorrow with three first round games out west.
R I on long ball here.
Was there a push off from at Tien knows is the referee we play on AT T End the ball in touch by Zardari's left for Santos Santos with the left foot.
And that strike to the near post is picked up by Miyahara Pedro Santos, just unable to get any power on that strike.
See what he was trying to dio? There's a corner of the referee pendant, went down too easily at the end.
Might have extended a shoulder a little bit, but not enough, according the official, and it led to quite a good chance for the Crew.
They just were not able to capitalize.
Throw in here and it will be taken by Milton Valenzuela.
In that ball, we'll head out of play to take the Red Bulls.
Throwing UH, will be Kyle Duncan.
Dunkin's pass taken away by Pedro Santos.
The crew will look to move into the far side, but it's given away in a bad area, but a nice recovery in the end.
Santos goes down.
The referee, for the most part, has been letting them play already a physical game, which is to be expected, and the winner go home playoff matchup.
Now here come New York.
The gold score out Lied for Daniel Royer Royer waiting for the run of true Yearwood.
Yearwood's delivery had no one there but headed right to Royer and a steal from Valenzuela.
Columbus able to clear out of play for a Red Bull's throwing but New York looking to retake the lead here.
It's been a pretty evenly matched first half so far between these two sides.
Yeah, that was last off of you're.
Would Columbus win the throw in? Valenzuela will take it on the sideline to Czar Days in a heavy tackle there from Sean Davis.
We'll see if it's worthy of a yellow card, and I think it might be yellow card given out to Sean Davis.
So our first booking of the game, at least to my knowledge, although we all missed the first eight minutes because of that Orlando New York City game, the epic Orlando New York City game eso That's why I couldn't commentate this one from the start.
But I don't think we missed much and I don't believe there was a card in the first eight minutes, although that's just I guess back in you're now Is Zella on off of Kyle Duncan for a throwing final five minutes of the first half.
The throwing taken by Valenzuela in twos.
Artists, artists back for Celeron, Celery on dancing on the ball will clip it to the far post, but it's headed out of the box by New York.
Back with Darlington Nagbe in the midfield.
With our term are turned back for Nagbe Nagbe.
We'll leave it for Zeller Ion, now wide perfect, controlled by Santos, scored on a penalty kick for Columbus earlier.
Gets it back from Valenzuela through ball.
Valenzuela making the run cuts it back, but therefore New York to clear was Tim Parker.
It will be a corner kick for the crew, and it will be Zeller Ion to take it.
Celery on really caught the eyes of many at the MLS's back tournament tournament, in which the crew did quite well but ultimately fell up short in the knockout stage.
It's a good ball in across the six.
It will go all the way through ultimately and a goal kick will be awarded Columbus.
I think it should be a corner, but it won't will not be given so many bodies in the six yard box, and apparently it was last off of a crew player on a chance there for Columbus to take their first lead of the game 11 We're all tied up at Mapfre Stadium.
42nd minute in this first round matchup of the MLS Cup playoffs.
Reminder that illegal M X action continues.
In fact, tomorrow, Tyga's will take on to Luca.
That should be a good 17 Eastern time.
Specific Sorry six Central four Pacific As we approach halftime the Red Bulls in possession here, back with Tim Parker.
Parker will find Aaron along, given away Nagbe ahead.
Archer Arthur to Celery on Ryan will switch fields taken down nicely and sent forward by Santos Valenzuela to the byline.
The cross is dealt with by New York.
They get out of the box, but once again it's back into the possession of the crew.
His delivery was blocked by Kidd and Clark lands right to are full.
Josh Williams, now wide for Santos.
We'll see how much stoppage time there will be in this opening half.
This is sent out wide cut out by Santos, and now's our days.
We'll take it down.
Moves it back for Nagbe, Maggie for Santos.
One time ball will be chased down by Czar Dez.
And how long will force it off of Geocities. Artist.
Good effort buys artist, but Long had the head start and wins it side of throwing.
Seems as though both teams will be pretty content going in the locker room with this game tied, although maybe we will see one last chance before the break.
We near the 45th minute, another throwing for New York.
We're in a stoppage time and there will be two minutes added onto the end of this first half.
Two minutes of stoppage time.
Let's see what Columbus could do.
It's a good ball in, but office line was Miyahara.
Zara is in the area, but yeah, was alert.
Able to make the safe.
This has moved out wide for Kyle Duncan.
Here's Duncan again, back for Tim Parker, and Parker will send it all the way to Ryan Miura, a goalkeeper for the Red Bulls.
New York Lose it.
Santos will drive it forward, handed down by Zardari's into the path of seller.
I on Zeller Eye on will take a shot deflection on the way but comfortably into the arms of my Jara.
That might be the last chance of this opening half, about 30 seconds left until we can expect the halftime whistle to be blown this pun well across midfield, but out of play for a cruise throwing, bouncing ball control Blyde Duncan Valenzuela had it for a moment.
But now here come the Red Bulls touch got away from Val.
Oh, it'll be moved out wide by Jonathan Mensah with it is Harrison a fool, and that will do it for the opening half.
So, through 45 minutes in this first round matchup of the MLS Cup playoffs, it's the Columbus Crew won the New York Red Bulls one from Macht Frei Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, after the break.
The halftime report will be on the way as I will tell you all about the first half of this one.
Preview the second half, and I'll even discuss some of that crazy game earlier today as Orlando City knocked off N Y C F C in penalty kicks.
That is next, the halftime report on the way as it's the MLS Cup playoffs, 11 between Columbus and New York Red Bulls and a good one from Ohio.
I'll be right back. Don't go anywhere.
And welcome into the halftime report here on SportsCastr 11 between the New York Red Bulls and the Columbus Crew bought the scoring, going with nice strike by Caden Clark on a miss clearance from Harrison Fool.
And then three minutes later, converting from the spot would be Pedro Santos to tie it up at one apiece.
And that's the scoreline after 45 minutes of play, 11 between the two sides.
Seven chances for Columbus, four for the Red Bulls.
Columbus had six corners compared to the Red Bulls to nine fouls from New York.
For for Colombia's overall, the Crew are slightly the better team in that first half, the Red Bulls go sort of came against the run of play, but the Red Bulls certainly established themselves in this game after that opening goal, and we should be in for a good and evenly matched second half.
In my opinion, I look ahead to the second half after the break. Stay tuned.
This is the first round of the MLS Cup playoffs on SportsCastr Welcome back, Everybody halftime, and it's a 11 affair between the Columbus Crew and the New York Red Bulls with a spot in the Eastern Conference semifinals on the line from that phrase stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
Goals from Caden Clark and Pedro Santos have this game level, and the goal of the year actually was given to Darlington Nagbe off the Columbus Crew for his unbelievable strike against the Chicago Fire back.
And I believe it was the end of August.
A little touch up to himself, setting up unrealized volley where he just placed it absolutely perfectly.
It was quite the goal.
He's gotten goal of the year and his team well, to get the victory here, a big second half on the way.
We already had a game earlier today.
Go to penalty kicks Now.
We're far from talking about the possibility of penalty kicks at the moment, but it's been an evenly contested match up so far.
Plenty of physicality involved, too.
We can only expect that intensity to pick up in the final 45 minutes of regulation, which will be on the way after a quick break. Stay tuned.
It's the final game of a doubleheader in the first round of the Eastern Conference MLS Cup playoffs, 11 between the Crew and the Red Bull's second half.
Next, we're all set for the second half from Matt Frei Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
Both teams ready to go for the final 45 minutes of regulation 11 between the Columbus Crew and the New York Red Bulls live here on SportsCastr.
Appreciate you guys tuning in as always.
Hope you're having a wonderful Saturday so far and my oh my has.
Hasn't the MLS Cup playoffs been quite the blast so far? What a game earlier between Orlando and New York City.
Orlando getting the victory.
Two red cards, including one to their goalkeeper in penalty kicks.
And there was much more wildness to it.
Uh, that would take me a long time to exactly explain, and I apologize if you missed out on that game because it was quite the game and I kind of wish I picked that one to commentate.
But this game hasn't been all that bad whatsoever.
Columbus will go right on the attack off the kickoff.
Here's L awry on with a shot off the post, and now it will be controlling near the corner by Santos.
Santos cuts it back.
Cross swung ings orders to the back post, and this shot saved rebound neck me scores and the Columbus Crew 24 seconds into the second half have taken their first lead of the game.
It's Darlington, Nagbe.
And how about that for a start to the second half, Columbus, right off the kickoff, went after the Red Bulls on the attack and on the third or fourth effort.
Eventually, Nagbe was there to finish.
What a what a sequence after Celery on originally hit the post, this ball with this service was headed by Czar Dez towards the back post at TN was denied.
After me are made the save.
And then Nagbe was there on the rebound to just blast it into the roof of the goal as my er I was down on one knee and the Columbus Crew, with a statement to begin the second half to one, and the crew have scored two unanswered 24 seconds, is all it took for the crew to get the ball into the back of the net to start the second half.
And now let's see if that gives the Red Bulls a wake up call.
Celery on back four, Artur into the midfield.
Nagbe at the edge of the box.
He'll lay out white at TN at TN.
Floats it in just why to the far post.
In the end, Not sure if he was looking for a cross or a shot might have been a combination of both, and it was not far from being on target.
I want to start with an explosive start to the second half of the Columbus Crew.
Red Bull's within the midfield.
Fleurian! Vilo! Send it over a year.
Would the Columbus win it back? MENSA, Back to the keeper! Room Room will go long.
Referee gives advantage.
Here come the crew.
This long ball will be well, too far ahead of Derek Ettien for him.
Toe! Get there! In time.
The Red Bulls throne will be taken by Jason Pendant.
That would be the header.
Ah, fool! Couldn't get there now MENSA controls regains his footing.
Santos, a wide into space.
Poor pass, though from Valenzuela.
Columbus do have it back, though.
So with Valenzuela now wide Valenzuela making the run, Santos couldn't get it back to him.
A steal by New York And here come the Red Bulls, with numbers going forward up the middle of the pitch.
It's pendant, but a great job by Ettien to track back and win it.
Helping him out was I fault, but the Red Bulls take it right up right away.
And here is the lows delivery.
A service in guest by everyone in the general area was, I think, Tom Barlow, but just too much on that cross from below in five minutes into the second half, a goal kick for Columbus, who lead it 2 to 1 at home.
It's the three seed Columbus Crew against the 60 New York Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference as Ah RDAs.
Send it ahead to Zeller Ion, last off of long for a Columbus throwing at TN will take it.
Well, actually, leave it for the right back.
Harrison Afful, 21 Columbus leading New York Red Bulls first round of the MLS Cup playoffs win or go home single elimination throughout the MLS Cup playoffs, which makes it all the more exciting.
Here is awful through ball.
The flag remains down.
Geocities art is in, but he sent it well, wide, a chance for Zar Dez, but he makes a mess out of it, as the Red Bulls will make the first substitution of the game.
It will be true.
Year would coming out, and Casarez is his replacement, So Christian Casarez will try to make an impact off the bench.
See what concert has come.
Dio Zardari's will want that opportunity back.
It looked at first like he might have been offsides, but the flag remain down and he just maybe he got that ball caught up underneath them as he was aiming for the far post, but it went well.
Well, why do that far post almost out for a throwing? Okay, So a free kick for the krill? It's sent along.
Red Bulls added for a moment, but Valenzuela knocks it forward for Santos, who's taken down and it will be a free kick.
That was the foul was committed by Kyle Duncan.
Free kick for the crew have had a good start to the 2nd 45 minutes nice touch forward by Archer.
A lot of congestion on that far side.
And that's off of Zeller Ion for Red Bull's throwing good work by Sean Davis as New York will try to get it out of their ends.
But on the throwing from Duncan, Davis sent it right back out of play Columbus saying Thank you very much since his Ellaria near the corner flag now double teamed, and it's big goal kick for New York.
Zella Ryan does not think so.
It was hard to tell, but the goal kick Evan New York, now trying to tie it back up after scoring the opening goal they now trail to one.
It will be a Columbus throwing here, the Red Bulls having a really tough time keeping possession in their defensive third and eventually clearing it out and working out of the back.
The Columbus pressure has paid off.
New York have had trouble dealing with it now.
It was sent forward by the Red Bulls.
Can't quite get through to Royer.
You'll chase it down as room well, send it across midfield at the end, couldn't control.
And now New York looking for an opportunity.
It's out wide in the near side with Tom Barlow.
We'll go back for Aaron along You're in Long sends it forward.
Menses there and a nice play by Jonathan Mensah as he sent it off of penned on to win the throwing 55th minute to one Columbus leading here on SportsCastr.
The winner moves on to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Red Bull's now in possession.
It's now with fellow fellow to Barlow Barlow onto his right foot, Barlow with a shot, but in the way of it was, I believe, MENSA.
But here come the Red Bulls again on the attack in the feet of left, fallow, the low for Casa as the substitute Duncan to Sean Davis.
Now why it's captain played by Penn. Done.
Depend on off balance sent across in, but the lawyer room is there to pick it up, and the Red Bulls can't get a shot in on what looked to be a promising attacking phase forward for Zardari's who went down.
But you easily, according to the referee, Out for a Columbus throwing.
What's going on? Von.
Welcome into the stream.
How you doing, Von? I don't know if you saw the Orlando New York City game, VON.
But my goodness, that was the craziest soccer game I've ever seen.
I really wished I picked that game to commentate, but I ended up picking this one.
This one hasn't been bad, but there's nothing that's gonna match that Orlando New York City game that was absolutely insane.
Orlando in the end, winning on penalty kicks after two red cards, 11 of those red cards come into their goalkeeper in the penalty kick shootout.
Just absolutely crazy.
That's why you gotta love the MLS playoffs, especially in these one off games where it's winner go home.
No longer do we have two legs in the earlier rounds, but, yeah, I'm a great day of playoff action.
Thus far, the Columbus Crew leading the New York Red Bulls at the moment to one here is nag me for the crew.
It's lost by the Red Bulls.
Here come New York, a strike from distance just wide by Daniel Royer.
It was an ambitious effort, but not too far from finding that bottom left corner it just peeled away at the last second, or else that had potential.
You didn't because you're watching the Tottenham game.
Well, hey, congrats on top beating Man City.
Yeah, I saw a little bit of that taught in the Man City game, but I was mainly focused on the Orlando N Y C F C game just because it was the playoffs and it was just a crazy game.
What kind of question is that, Von You can't eat with a mask on, So that would be now a Z.
That shot from Zardari's is blocked, but Columbus do have a corner kick coming up.
That Orlando New York City game was so long that this game overlapped with it.
Daniel Roy will come out for Brian White.
So another change by New York their second substitution of the game.
Um And so that's why I couldn't commentate the first seven or seven or eight minutes of this game because of that epic Orlando New York City penalty kick match up.
As that shot went wide, the crew playing with a lot of confidence to begin the second half.
When will we stop wearing masks? I don't know, Von I guess when the vaccine is available to the general public I'm not entirely sure though.
Do you think by June, Yeah, Possibly. Yeah.
I was just gonna say we'll probably have to wear masks till at least like, yeah, the summer.
Hopefully, things can be back to normal by next summer, but it all depends on the vaccine, so but it's looking.
It's looking good so far with the Pfizer back vaccine, which is apparently, like, 90% effective or something crazy like that, which is incredible.
Um, but yeah, we'll see.
We're getting there.
You just have to be patient.
We've reached the hour mark a handball, and it sets up a free kick in a good position for New York.
60 minutes gone.
30 to go in regulation.
The Red Bulls seeking an equalizer.
You thought I would say by 2050? Why? Why do you think that? No, I sure hope not.
That ****, I would Ah.
I don't know what I'd do if we had to live this way until 2050.
That would be a nightmare.
Here it comes out in the second effort was sent high and wide.
But I believe Kate and Clark Yes, it was Clark, the 17 year old who scored for the Red Bulls earlier.
Thank you for joining the broadcast drew 61 minutes in and the Crew have a 21 lead over the Red Bulls.
Spend an epic day of MLS Cup playoff action after the most crazy game of soccer I've ever seen in my life between Orlando City in New York City. Orlando.
Getting the wind in penalty kicks.
Here's our days for the crew.
Zara's down the sideline at the end, looking to get the crossing.
But Erin Long did a nice job closing in.
Forces it out for a throwing in a man down for New York.
Would I take the vaccine? Um, yeah. I mean, yeah.
I mean, as long as the vaccine was safe and and stuff, then, yeah, I would I would take it.
I mean, I'm not, so I wouldn't take it.
I would take it if, like, it was like someone offered it.
And I mean, it depends what stage were in.
Like if we're still in the early stages, you know, obviously I'll have to wait and see.
But like, I'd rather other people that need it most.
You know, take the vaccine first.
But I'm talking about when we get to the stage.
Hopefully where you know anyone can Anyone could take the vaccine then then? Yes, as long as it was safe.
Which So if if we get to the stage where it is available toe to the general public that it probably would be safe.
No, I really just came home from a nil Nil draw.
You had too many miss chances.
Sandro Santos, with the pass out wide flicked into the box.
Here's celery and celery onto the end line trying to weave his way through.
It's eventually sent out of play by Florian below.
There are some substitutes getting loose for the Red Bulls.
They've already made two changes.
Remember, you're allowed to make five this year in MLS and in most leagues around the world.
Except for the Premier League, I feel like Well, if there was be a are, you would have 10 really? So there was some controversy, uh, throwing for New York.
There's just three substitution is allowed in the Premier League this year.
They went back to three.
I mean, it was always three and around around the world.
That's how it always was until the pandemic.
And then they changed it to five.
And then they changed the five when the league's resumed.
And then for the start of, like the European 2020 21 season, it was up to the league's to decide what they want to do.
And most most leagues kept five.
But the Premier League decided to revert back to three.
But but most leagues kept the five substitution.
So, yeah, as Nagbe took a ball to the face there and he's still down being attended to by the medical staff.
You have two more years until the World Cup. Absolutely. Von.
Yeah, almost two years from today, right? Because it's in the winter.
I don't know if it's the exact day, but it might be two years from today.
That might be what you're saying, because I think it doesn't start on the 21st of November in 2022 I think I think it might.
Yeah, It starts in November 21st. All right? Yeah.
So two years from today. Absolutely.
I didn't even realize that.
You're correct. One.
I'm looking forward.
to that. No doubt.
Can't wait for the World Cup.
Although it stinks how it's in the winter, because I'll be a freshman in college and the games will be going on during classes and stuff like that, but well, we'll see.
Also, the Euros next summer.
I'm can't wait for that.
Where do I see myself in two years? Um, I mean, in two years, I'll be I'll be a freshman in college, so I I don't know what I don't know what college.
I'm, you know, obviously gonna end up going to yet, but yeah, I hope I hope I'll be at a, um, college known for their for sports broadcasting, and we'll see where I ultimately land.
Um, and then, yeah, I'll just hopefully I'll be, you know, getting getting involved at whatever college I land at and, uh, you know, commentating their games.
Just getting better.
Maybe Ah, being involved in, like, a sports talk radio station or as an intern or something like that. I'm not sure.
I'm not sure exactly what what I'll be doing in, uh, in two years and where I'll be, but just have to wait and see.
Wait, and see where, where, where things bring me.
But yeah, the Champions League continues this Tuesday.
Dynamo Kiev host Barcelona.
That's that three.
Eastern to Central noon Pacific.
Looking forward to the return of the Champions League this week and way out of his box came me.
Are they headed out? But here come Columbus Me, All right back on his line.
Zella on out wide this cross towards the back post.
Sardis with the shot.
It's in Geocities Arnas with an unbelievable header, and the Columbus Crew make it 31 Wow! Midway through the second half and it was a great ball delivered.
Zardari's was at the back post, went back across the face of goal and this header was just perfectly placed.
It's a two goal lead for Columbus, who are in great position to move on to the conference semifinals.
Now beautiful service in from Derek at Tien, and then the header.
Just absolutely superb from Geocities artist.
This is much tougher than it looks as he was backing away from gold, headed it back across the face of goal, which takes quite the skill and just looping it in to the top right corner and all Ryan Er could do is watch that ball sail across the face of goal and find the top right corner.
31 Columbus, two second half goals and Zara's has really put Columbus in a good position.
You bet I can get into Harvard.
I'm not sure about that.
True, You know how hard it is to get in Harvard.
Their acceptance rate is like, what, 5%? Something crazy like that? Yeah, that is true, Von. Hopefully the U.
Will have qualified for the world Will qualify for the World Cup in 2022.
They have no excuses to not may.
It's super hard to get into Ivy League schools, but I don't know you're come Columbus.
The Red Bulls back with it, but it sent out to play by New York Red Bulls all of a sudden have to play with quite a bit of urgency at this point as they trail by two with their season on the line.
I mean, the rain really starting to come down a bit harder.
In Columbus, Ohio, at Mapfre Stadium, 20 minutes plus stoppage time remain in regulation.
The Red Bulls within the midfield played forward by Casarez one backed by the crew who turned over immediately.
Sean Davis with it.
If the Red Bulls could get a gold soon, and all of a sudden the right back in it Davis Sal wide.
Can Israel qualify? Yeah.
I mean, any nation can qualify, Drew.
I mean, the World Cup and most in every region except South America.
The World Cup qualifiers haven't even begun yet, so Oh, you mean, is it likely? Um no.
I misunderstood what you meant.
No, I don't see.
I don't see it likely because it's still 32 teams for this upcoming World Cup and then it goes to 48 in 2026.
Once it's expanded the 48 teams, then yeah, it will give a lot of smaller nations a much better chance.
But now Israel just our aren't good enough, in my opinion.
And it's so tough to to qualify in Europe a swell because Israel's part of Europe, for they're part of you, UEFA for soccer, even though it's debatable as toe.
Yeah, I know Israel isn't Europe, but they're there in UFO.
So they're in Europe for soccer.
Yeah, Yeah, there, there's it's not There's some weird situations where countries that you know seem to be seem to be in a different continent.
Belonged to another continent for for soccer.
But it's kind of strange, but yeah, Israel are part of the UEFA.
So they have to go through European qualifying.
Can North Korea qualify? I don't think so. Von now.
Oh, yeah, that's a good question.
Yeah, like, yeah, the surprise team that doesn't qualify.
Um, should dare I say Germany? No, I think Germany will get it, but they're in a there in a disastrous situation at the moment.
But I don't know.
You're going to say Croatia, possibly Possibly.
Yeah, it's just too hard to hard to say.
This comes out and the cross from our fool was comfortably say by me are I don't see England missing it, but yeah, Germany do have earner in Harvard's, but they're they're a mess right now.
After losing to Spain, six nil.
I I think Germany will turn it around by the time qualifying comes.
But if they're in their current state, then my goodness, that become World Cup qualifying, which will begin in Europe in March.
Columbus at home have played 10 games the season MLS nine wins, no losses and one draw.
19 goals scored, just six allowed.
So the Crew have been fantastic at home.
This could be their last home game of the season, even if they do win this game, depending on what happens in the Toronto Nashville game.
This through ball played.
His art is but the shot right at the keeper Czar has left wide open making the run nearly had a second of the game.
No, Sam Marina doesn't have a chance.
No, no. Us is is North America.
Well, us is part of CONCACAF, which is North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
South America is comparable with, like, you know, all of the how many teams? Aaron CONCACAF Uh, I want to say, like 30 Oh, how many teams qualify? Um, it's 33 qualify, and then the and then the fourth place finisher has to play in a playoff against a team from another from another region.
So it's technically 3.5.
Yeah, that's what it should be.
US, Mexico and Costa Rica.
But instead of the U.
Last time around it was Panama I don't even want to talk about it.
But But yeah, that's what that's what.
That's what I and many others would expect for the U.
And Mexico, US, Mexico and Coast.
We're gonna be the ones to qualify as the Red Bulls will make a double change here, their 3rd and 4th substitution zones.
We'll see Davis come off.
Oh, actually, was a triple change.
It might have been strewed comes in for Clarke.
And I believe Shatov ski came in for Davis is Well, yep, Kotowski came in for Davis.
So a triple change make it and it's a low driven ball.
The redirection was sending it to the near post, but getting there in time was Ryan Miyahara.
So the Red Bulls have used all their substitution is now.
Columbus haven't made any changes.
By the way, Caleb Porter confident with this side and it shows you the fitness they have.
Just making sure I have the right player who came in for follow this Sunday League Amax ticket as well take on to Luca.
That should be a good one tomorrow night.
Seven Eastern six Central.
Yeah, absolutely comparable.
Oh, how money from each content.
So CONCACAF's 3.
5 Con Mobile is 4.5.
You had top for making them.
The fifth has to play in a playoff.
It waas Alejandro Romero who came in for Viol.
Oh, so that was the other change.
31 Columbus, leading as that cross did taken a flexion corner kick for the Red Bulls.
Who will hurry up to take it time running out for them.
Oh, so you want me to tell you all the continents? Uh, how many teams make it for me to region one of the time? All right.
Um, I can't memorize all of them, to be honest, but I could look it up because I'm kind of interested.
So here comes the corner kick.
And now Ah, one V one is Columbus look to counter, but it was well defended by Jason Pendant.
You're predicting who goes through from each region.
Okay, Um, no, I don't I don't think chili well, chilly aren't good anymore, in my opinion, but I agree with Brazil.
I say Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina.
Um, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina.
And I'm going to say Ecuador.
Yeah, you forgot about Argentina.
Ecuador have done good so far.
Well, they've already played four games in the qualifiers.
There's 18, though, so there's still a long way.
But Ecuador? I've been impressed.
Buys this shot delivered is blocked.
Um, good question.
I'm not sure how Maney qualify from Europe.
I want to say Oh, yeah, Columbia is a good shout to Von.
Yeah, they just lost to Ecuador.
61 Maybe Colombia could get the playoff spot in Khan Mobile perhaps.
Um, trick question.
So I pulled it up.
So from let's see what this is So Europe gets Wow Europe.
No, no. Let me see if I have this correct.
Europe gets 13 at the end, will come off for Colombia.
You're going to do it. Okay.
I realized they got that much.
I was going to say, like, 10.
Louise Diaz will come in for a t n first substitution of the game for Columbus and it comes here in the 81st minute.
Luis de has featured quite a bit in the MLS is back tournament.
There's been a playmaker off the bench over the course of the regular season.
So it's 13 from Europe, five from Africa, 4.
5 from Ocean Yana.
And then from North, Central, North and Central America.
And the Caribbean, which is CONCACAF.
3.5. I got that right in South America is 4.5.
So yeah, and then for 2026 it's gonna be 16 from Europe, nine from Africa, eight from Asia, one from Moshi, Hana, six from CONCACAF and six from CONMEBOL from South America.
Wow, that's gonna be insane.
Going to be so many more teams because that's 16 more teams.
They're gonna qualify in total.
Well, the chance that was for the crew looking for goal number four.
And it was actually partially touched.
No, I guess it wasn't.
It was a goal kick in the end.
The crew have it back, though.
In the midfield, they've really dominated in this, uh, second half the crew.
Kyle Duncan was given a yellow card in the midst of that all.
So New Zealand will make the 2026 World Cup.
Yeah, they're lucky they get such an easy region because, yeah, now, instead of the Oceanian winner having to play in the playoff, the ocean and winner will automatically get in with the 48 team World Cup.
Here come the crew down the right wing.
It's Harrison fool, fool will often it in.
But it goes right to We are, uh, Celery, on approving of the idea, giving the thumbs up to our full 83rd minute.
Now Columbus lead by to the Red Bulls in desperation mode at this stage final playoff game of two today in MLS opening up around one.
The MLS Cup final will be on December 12th.
Can't wait for that.
That's what, three weeks from today, it will be Saturday, December 12th, in prime time in eight Eastern time.
Start, who will be competing for the MLS Cup.
When all was said and done, here's across, sent in just over the head of Barlow, and now it's Louise Diaz.
With it, he'll go back to fool who clears immediately, and now it's Zeller.
I on the crew have numbers going forward.
They're not backing off one bit, so they want 1/4 goal.
How wide it goes, cut back to Zeller Eye on Nice touch Zeller eye on patient in the middle of the field, Out wide for Louise Diaz Diaz into the box Diaz through the defense went down, but not enough contact for a penalty kick as it's cleared out for Columbus throwing with six minutes left in regulation.
Yeah. Yeah, you're probably right, Von.
It's still weird how Australia are now, you know, part of Asia to Yeah.
Okay, that's a solid list.
That's a solid list, I will say.
Oh, Black is, um Well, I can't remember where where he's from.
You think Slovenia? Yeah, you might.
You're right. Yeah, he's from Slovenia.
Five minutes left in regulation, and then we're gonna stoppage time.
Sorry about that.
Columbus, with three unanswered goals.
Do you think Wales will make the World Cup? All right.
It's possible, but I'm not 100% sold on it.
I thought Todd it was from Slovakia, but he might be from Slovenia.
I thought he was from Slovakia, but I'm not sure, because I think I remembered him from the Slovakia Scotland game last week in the in the Euro qualifier playoff.
That could be wrong.
Here comes a corner kick for the Red Bulls.
It's an outswinger from strewed bouncing ball here, Columbus eventually get away.
Here is Kotowski.
Schakowsky floats it in, headed forward and room is there for the Columbus Crew.
Although there was a foul beforehand, the referee was seeing if advantage would be given.
But he takes it back and gives a free kick for the Red Bulls right outside the box.
Aaron Long, the one fouled for New York as he gets up gingerly and so a good chance here for or did they call it? Hold on.
I'm not so sure.
No, I suppose it wasn't given.
I thought the referee signaled for a free kick butt.
Apparently not. My apologies.
Illiterates. Yeah, I think you're right.
He's from Slovenia.
I don't think guitar will do good at all in the World Cup.
Well, nice job there by Jonathan.
Men's under pressure had Thio execute that touch perfectly, and he did so Zardes tries to win.
It can't do so, though.
It's one by Casarez, the Red Bulls needing two goals to keep their season alive.
Ah, what it goes in possession is white, puts it in to the six yard box.
Columbus, though with their stingy defense, clear it out.
Another cross food, and it goes off the bar.
And it was slightly tipped by room, which will bring up a corner kick for New York.
The Red Bulls not going away just yet.
They're not gonna make it easy for Columbus to see this game out.
You think that you A will make the World Cup? Really? I don't know about that, but you never know.
Head out of the box by Columbus Duncan back there for the Red Bulls.
Shields it away from Santos and now Duncan driving forward into the box, laid back, but not enough pace on the paths.
And now Columbus have numbers forward.
The Red Bulls have to get back on defense in a hurry, and long commits a tactical foul there and will probably be booked for it as he took out Louise Diaz 89th minute.
Now and there comes the yellow card, which is given to Aaron Long free kick.
Coming from Artur, you'll go to the end line, but Diaz couldn't keep it in, and so That's the last thing the crew on it to give the ball away quickly.
Thio New York You don't want the Red Bulls to get any hope in the final stages.
I know Columbus have a comfortable to go lead, but if the Red Bulls to get that second goal in the next minute, then there's still some hope for the visitors.
It's now back with me.
Ara Nagbe couldn't hold on.
Shatov ski through the middle.
Shatov ski will take the shot blocked.
Falls right back to him.
He goes wide, low driven ball, the re directions in and the New York Red Bulls get the second goal and have come within one of Columbus.
It's Florian follow, and it's Columbus.
Three, New York to this one.
And I just said what half a minute ago, that if the Red Bulls or to get a goal within the next minute, then there would still be some life for New York and one you know they get that goal.
It was just a cross sent in by Screwed seemed like a harmless cross, but there was questionable man marking by Columbus in the box and follow got his left foot on that one, unable to tuck it into the far corner.
And it's three to just like that.
It was Brian White.
I thought I was certain it was below.
That's right Below came off a little while ago. My apologies.
Thought it was 22 rather than 42.
It was Brian White.
My apologies and pendant.
Now down for New York, by the way.
Five minutes of stoppage time.
We've already played one minute, three to Columbus.
But this makes for an interesting ending as pendant is down and quite a bit of pain here.
Oh, yeah, man, It was his ankle here, I believe.
Yeah, right there.
Just in awkward fall.
Ah, yeah, that that that is not that is not good.
Uh, it's hard to.
It's hard to look at.
His left ankle just turned and that that left foot of his went in a position that it just that shouldn't That shouldn't be humanly possible for just a split second there.
His left foot completely went out of place and he might have to be stretchered off here.
Although it looks like he will be able to get up on his own, which is a good sign, but that did not look good at all, as Pendant will walked gingerly to the sideline.
He just a nasty looking injury.
And so we'll even have Mawr Time added on at the end of the minimum of five minutes in stoppage time.
And here come the Red Bulls.
As we resume plates laid back here in a long, long through, it trickles by playing the back post.
Here's the shot.
A lawyer room comes up huge for Columbus, and now the crew will take it the other way.
Nearly the equalizer for the Red Bulls.
What an ending here.
No foul called, and it's now the Red Bulls who will give it away yet again.
Zeller Ion will hold on for Columbus Intisar days, but he was offsides and the Red Bulls quickly put it in play.
What an ending here.
New York, trying to force this to extra time behind the play in a little bit of pain was Casarez on.
This shot from the edge of the 18 goes over the bar, and the crew will take plenty of time on this free kick.
What a chance moments ago, though, for Tom Barlow at the back post.
But his shot was saved, and that might be the last chance for the Red Bulls tonight, although there's still some time left for that equalizer.
Champions League resumes this week.
I should say this Wednesday will see Inter Milan host Real Madrid that game at three Eastern to Central noon Pacific.
This is flicked ahead.
Making the run was White, who scored the second goal for the Red Bulls.
It is off of Columbus in a corner kick for New York.
They'll hurry up to the Red Bulls have some late drama.
The corner kick will be taken by strewed, who had the assist on the second goal not too long ago.
Here's the delivery in headed out of the box.
Even the goalkeeper of New York.
Miura is up in Columbus is 18 yard box.
This is laid back.
The shot is in, popped up into the air and shouts for a handball.
Nothing called and Columbus clear it into New York's half.
It will be chased down by Casarez.
We've reached the 95th minute.
Will there be a little more? Added on due to the injury to 10.
Done this cross too far for Aaron Lawn and now be played forward for Geocities are Dez, but well out of his box was me.
Ara for the Red Bolts.
One last chance.
Maybe New York thrusted forward.
50 50 ball, one by the crew and now Columbus At the other end.
It's played ahead to Louise Diaz.
You'll go for the shot, but the same made by me are a.
All he had to do is hold on Luis Diaz.
But he went for goal, and that could be costly.
Here come the Red Bulls the other way.
It's Kokou Kaku, the substitute, and that cross is over the end line, and that should do it a goal kick.
Columbus Room will take his time.
We're We have surpassed the 96 minute three to the Columbus Crew leading the New York Red Bulls here on SportsCastr, and so room takes the free kick across midfield.
New York will send it ahead.
Whites header, though, is sent out of danger by Archer.
Ah, collision on the far side foul against Columbus.
We are still playing here, all eyes on the referee down for the crew is Pedro Santos.
Seven minutes of stoppage time played so far, Santos clutching his head at the moment.
The Red Bulls, looking to resume play as quick as possible.
But Santos still down for the crew, trying to move them off out of play so they can continue.
Yeah, you did hit his head pretty hard.
So you'll be looked at by the medical staff over on the sideline as the Red Bulls put the ball in play.
98th minute We go.
It's not done yet.
Here's a cross by Kyle Duncan.
It is kept in play and the shot goes wide, although I believe it did go over the end line spotted by the A R on the far side so it would not have counted gold kick for Columbus.
98 minutes played, and surely that will do it.
And there it is, the final whistle.
The Columbus Crew knock out the New York Red Bulls three to the final, and Columbus advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals, where they'll face either Toronto FC or Nashville won a game.
Another great game.
Obviously, nothing could match the craziness of the early game between Orlando and New York City.
But this game still provided plenty of entertainment.
Five goals between the two sides.
The Columbus Crew, in the end, get the victory three to over the New York Red Bulls in advance to the conference semis.
Both New York teams in the same day eliminated.
It was N Y C F C earlier, and now the New York Red Bulls.
Well, that will do it for my broadcast.
I'm Samuel re signing off saying so long.
Enjoy the rest here Saturday and hope you enjoyed another great game in the MLS Cup playoffs.
Through four games in the playoffs there, there has not been any disappointment from a fan's perspective.
Just four great games so far, with the first round getting underway today after the to play in games last night, there'll be three Western Conference first round games tomorrow and then one Western Conference first round game on Tuesday and two Eastern Conference first round games on Tuesday.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday evening.
See you next time.
