And welcome back to the broadcast.
I am Nathan and we have the Ohio State Buckeyes and an Indiana Hoosiers here on a SportsCastr.
What a great noon game.
Here we have college football.
It's been a long time.
It's been about a week since I broadcast, but I'm back with the book Eyes and the Hoosiers.
Ohio State number nine Indiana and Indiana leads the Big 10 standings at four.
No, then Ohio State three.
No Maryland, two and one full of behind at third here, killing he was it exists.
Check the season in the Hi, you big shots.
This should okay, what? And what a great game we have.
Justin Fields, of course.
Ohio State quarterback.
A lot of hype around him.
Headed to the draft very soon, but also Indiana.
Michael Panics Junior playing very great this season.
He's got two rushing touchdowns this season over 1000 passing yards, and he has been playing very well and Justin Fields 900 passing yards this year. 11 touchdowns.
Not a single interception.
12 rushing touchdowns in 17 games is his career at Ohio State, and he had one interception in last 13 games. Verse message.
Michigan State last year.
46 degrees in Columbus, Ohio.
Seven mile per hour winds in the forecast rain.
This game is on.
The Ohio State leads the series between these 2 76 12 and five, and they've won 25 straight games against them, So we'll see how this one goes down.
They are 40 undefeated, but so is Ohio State.
Somebody is going to take a loss and somebody is going to stay undefeated here.
It was all the way back to the end zone, and that will come out all the way to the 25 yard line.
You have Texas and Oklahoma squaring off.
I believe I checked out, but I'm pretty sure that's what's going on tonight.
7. 30 I believe. Last I checked.
Excuse me now Oklahoma State in Oklahoma.
Thank you, Jeanne.
Dough for joining the broadcast.
What a great game that's gonna be.
That's on ABC and Oklahoma is favored by seven points, so we'll see how that one goes down Michael Panics.
Junior takes the snap throws and it is incomplete looking for Fry, Fogle's and the Hoosiers offense.
They lead a Big 10 in points off turnovers, so we'll see how that works out again today.
Again, err on second down, 2nd and 10 nine seconds to go on the play clock.
Panics takes the snap, and we have penalties at the line here unless we get a time out.
Time out. Ohio State.
The 32nd time out.
So their first time outcomes on the second play of the game on offense for the Hoosiers, Ohio State needs to take a time out and reset defense, so he's and the Buckeyes defense.
They have allowed 25 plus points in the last two games, But this this bucket, his team has been very resilient this year, and so has the Hoosiers.
They've gotten some big wins against Michigan and Penn State.
Yes, from the 25 2nd and 10 now Headaches with 10 seconds on the play clock takes the snap throws, and it is complete for the first down and a little more.
A 19 yard reception going to the 44 yard line on 2nd and 10.
This is Fried Fogle, who was hit earlier on that first play, a little bit high.
This one is a perfect pass and a perfect catch from the 44 Panix try to lead the Hoosiers downfield on first down. Takes the snap.
They hand it off in this run.
It goes absolutely nowhere.
And some great defense from the Buckeyes on that snap.
And it was Garrett who got to him on the play.
Is she here? We go 2nd and 10 panics throws downfield in this past is over, thrown towards the sun line, looking for Marshall, and it was just out of his reach.
Keep 30 10 now, so those two passes that he's thrown three passes rather, two of those passes have been a little bit off today so far.
Big play right here.
Panix? Yes, yes, on her center.
3rd and 10, actually not really under center.
He's a little bit back, takes the step, now looks and he is in trouble and sat the Hoosiers defense or excuse me, the Buckeyes defense comes through right here with a big time play and they take down Michael Panics, Junior and they get right to him.
A lot of pressure coming from that defense.
And, wow, what a great play that waas 4th and 16, They will not have to punch it away.
And here's the plant goes back to the 36 that is where the fair catch will be made.
And that is where the Buckeyes offense will start off with Justin Fields.
You was year and Justin Fields right in that conversation for the Heisman Trophy in the first quarter of this season, a 19 of 19 on passing attempts, 300 yards and three touchdowns.
So he has been almost perfect.
Has been perfect pretty much in the first quarter.
Takes the snap here, throws over the middle on this ball is caught still, going 25 20 and all the way down to the nine yard line.
It was Wilson on the catch and Ohio State on the first play of the game.
Justin Fields reads the coverage, finds his man, and he keeps on going.
What a great passing catch on the first play for the Buckeyes offense and Ohio State down to the 10 yard line now first and goal and won a way to get your offense started.
Fails, takes the snap.
Looks throws over the middle of it, is caught for the touchdown.
Two plays and the Buckeyes offense sores Garrett Wilson to catches.
And they go all the way down field.
65 yards in two plays and a Buckeye strike first.
You're on Big noon Saturday and went 12 30 years ago.
The Buckeyes offense strikes, and the extra point is good.
Ohio State's when we come back, we'll see more of Indiana in their offense after the break.
You're on SportsCastr.
There is man cheating video calls.
Yeah, you can keep it.
Yeah, it's worship you could you see? Imagine.
Change Protecting every single and we're back with the broadcast.
Thank you, Jail.
I'm 678 for joining the broadcast.
And so far, one drive for each team.
Man, I was just in fields, you know, Has his third touchdown in the first quarter this season.
And what a great two passes he had to complete for that drive right there.
So here is the kick back to the seven and the return does not getting very far before.
He is absolutely pummeled by the Buckeye Special teams unit, and it was just Proctor who completely demolished him right there.
Oh, my gosh, what a hit blindside out of nowhere and talk about a football player right there.
Didn't let him return it more than five yards.
It felt like so First attend for the Hoosiers offense from their own 18.
Michael Panics Jr.
One of three for 19 yards, one completed passed today.
Throws here, and this ball is complete to the 23 yard line, and that is where the Buckeyes defense gets to him.
The second and five season and weak one.
The Hoosiers beat Penn State.
Then they beat the Rogers and they defeated Michigan.
And then they shut out.
Michigan State, 24 to.
Hoosiers offense has been very good this year, but so has their defense.
Takes the snap throws, and it is complete for about three yards and the ball is loose in the Buckeyes Have it.
The Buckeyes have the ball and it's seeing like they have said that he is down.
They're gonna rule him down on the play he made the catch and then was completely pummeled.
They're saying he was down prior to lose the position of the ball.
So I'm guessing they're talking about forward progress.
Yeah, it definitely comes loose before he hits the ground like they're saying appear.
But it's about forward progress.
I'm guessing you would have to stay here.
It's gonna be third and two anyways.
Thank you. Boston Bell for joining the broadcast.
The snap goes way past Michael Pecs, and they're gonna be pinned back to the seven yard line, fourth down for the Hoosiers offense and the snap way over his head.
And nothing he could do about it there.
And it'll be Ohio State ball.
You can see, even though, for those of you don't want to college football that often, which would also be may.
I don't watch that often.
Even though Ohio State is ****d, R Indiana State has one more win the rig. Nine For a reason.
They have not played Ohio State yet, and Ohio State so far proven to be the better team.
Through the first two possessions, there is an injured Buckeye down on the field right now, eight Yeah.
So far, all Buckeyes will be back after a short break.
You're on SportsCastr.
Yeah, right after everything.
Two months, Leaders.
Making hang out with you when you choose. Called eight.
Exactly What? Thanks you? Yeah.
Yeah, sure, I right.
And we're back with the broadcast.
Boston Bell for the follow here in Columbus, Ohio, on the Buckeyes.
Lead it seven to nothing.
So it was a fumble that was not called was a fumble it seemed to be, But I guess they called forward progress.
Whatever you wanna call it here.
And there was a bad snapped appendix sacked back with seven so forth and 18 Hoosiers walked to punch it away Now and they dio back to the 48 is where Ohio State will start their own 48.
And it's just the fields coming out.
Got to completed passes today.
Both Garret Williams and both.
Well, I don't know what full but two passes a touchdown, So one long pass of one short passing both certainly helped to change that drive right out of the gun 1st and 10.
You, You're on Fox Big noon Saturday.
Justin Fields from his own 49 takes the snap throws downfield, and this ball is picked off his first interception of the year back to the 45.
And if there's any team that is gonna pick off Justin Fields, it's gonna be The Hoosiers won a magical season they've had, and this is a you got the safety back, their fields takes the snap, got lots of time.
And this is Yeah, this is a very badly throwing ball here, not a good, not a good play.
It all, and there was really no opportunity to get to the ball.
If you're the receiver, try and knock it down.
That's a just a very poorly thrown ball.
Who's this ball at the 44? She panics, takes the snap throws and it is way behind the receiver, Man.
I think we had somebody had to tip that ball most points per game, off turnovers and the power of five this season.
Indiana leads it with 12.
8 and that's a big time turnover right there.
So let's see what happens now.
2nd and 10 takes, the snap throws downfield and this ball is incomplete, almost reeled in but some great coverage there on the defense.
He was looking for Marshall number 13, and he almost reeled it in.
But some good defense saved what would have been a big time completion.
So could not hang on 3rd and 10 now for the Hoosiers from the 44 Panix.
And we have a little bit of, ah, delay here for a second issues.
Yes, panics throws over the middle and is able to complete it.
And the rush for the first down is no good.
He hit his tight end, but he had nowhere to go after that.
It was completely surrounded by Ohio State Buckeyes fourth and two.
Now we'll see what they want to dio, see if they want to go for it here.
Looks like they're gonna keep the offense out on the field.
They've come up empty twice on third down Now and now, three times we'll see.
They're gonna go for it on fourth.
See if they could make something happen here.
Try and get this Hoosiers offense going.
4th and 28 seconds of the play clock takes the snap.
Throws up in the middle of this bunch incomplete.
He had a wide open man over the middle.
It was fry fungal wide open over the middle.
There was nobody within yards off him, and he just drops this ball.
Let's take another Lord.
It's a little cut route and he loses his man.
There is nobody there, and he just drops the ball.
Ohio State has it when we come back up.
You're on SportsCastr.
Yeah, You so Uh huh.
Hey, and stop, please.
Oh, and we're back with the broadcast.
Hand up here for the Buckeyes.
Picks up a few yards here on first down.
Buckeyes up seven. Nothing.
One touchdown for feels, one interception its first of the year.
That ratio, 12 touchdowns and one interception.
This high pass here is caught.
Reeled in for the first down.
There is a flag on the field and it was a little high of a past, but a nice catch.
We'll see what the penalty is Here.
And a 15 yard pound the hair on the offense.
So this takes the back 15 yards from the original spot, which was the 40.
It was a 40 yard line.
So this takes them back? Sure.
Um, I'm gonna be back at the 25 yard line here.
2nd and 21 is of course.
See, here we go.
Fields takes the snap from the 25 under pressure is able to avoid the sack and is now taking down.
And since that touchdown, he has been sacked and has thrown interceptions.
So the huge Hoosiers defense has been getting to him a lot.
And that is some great defense from the Hoosiers Fields trying to escape what was going to be an initial setback.
A few about five yards more, and they escape it on this season.
Indiana, 13 sacks leading in the Big 10 fields.
Takes the stamp, rushes out of the pocket and gets to the 35 yard line.
And that is a good call there.
It'll be fourth down now, though, so they will have to put it away.
It was a good call.
The running you had really nothing else to do.
Their nobody open downfield, honey.
So the Hoosiers defense starting to put things together.
And that was the big thing here.
And they're gonna fake a fake play, so we'll see if they're gonna punch it down.
I have another fake.
No, there will be a punt, and this kick soaring back to the 25 gets a five yard balance to the 20 Ohio State.
Give the ball back to the Hoosiers when we come back.
Indiana ball here on SportsCastr and we're back with the broadcast.
Buckeyes three No Hoosiers four No on Big Noon Saturday, 702 left to go in the first, and the first three possessions have been two punts and a loss of downs for the Hoosiers.
Here's the run, and this picks up a few yards to the 24.
Here we go second and six.
Michael Panics takes the snap throws, and it is caught to the 39 yard line and a first down for the offense.
And so, so weird watching a left handed quarterback throw the football.
I mean, just waiting for me, being right handed, watching somebody throwing it like that.
Like to, uh, playing in the NFL.
Throwing it like that just kind of gives you that since of like Steve Young, because you don't see it very often.
There's only a few quarterbacks really that actually do throw left handed.
I mean, it's not like they choose to throw left handed there either left handed or right handed or whatever you call it. Amstrad extracts.
Whatever it is, where you have, you can throw with both arms.
I've never seen that been ableto happen before.
Unless you're Patrick moms and you're able to throw with your left hand against the Broncos when you're about to be second, your about your somehow able to throw it out like that.
But you don't see a lot of left in a quarterback's, and this run picks up two yards for the Hoosiers tryingto make a statement here against the Buckeyes.
They've had some big wins this year, but all of them, but out of all of them, this would be the biggest against an Ohio State team that is favored to win Ah, lot of things this year and led by Justin Fields, who is currently the leading favorite for the Heisman.
But he's got some competition, especially that Florida is starting quarterback Panix under pressure and the ball is out.
As he was throwing it, he was hit and his ruled incomplete.
Trask was talked about a lot.
I've been looking at his stats.
Have seen it before.
Kyle Trust having better stats than Joe Burrow through his first six games, which was very impressive.
The Florida starting Q B.
So him and Justin Fields definitely gonna be competing with each other for Heisman Trophy and saying this last play was incomplete here of here.
Gonna be the official review.
Excuse me? It was Pentax takes the snap here, and the review was an incomplete pass.
But the reviewing to see if it was a fumble.
Yeah, and that is close.
They're looking to see if you lost the ball before started like toe.
Throw it forward.
So it was like up and you lost it like right here.
So that is very close.
It was ruled incomplete, so there has to be conclusive evidence that it is not incomplete.
Hadn't been ruled a fumble you So they do review it, and it stands talking about here because he brings it back and he is able thio flick it forwards as he's being hit.
So that's very close call right there.
It was a very quick review.
Could not have been much quicker.
Michael panics downfield and it is incomplete.
It was intercepted but out of bounds.
Fourth inning, and they will have to plan it.
So the Hoosiers have not been able to find any offense today.
Their defense has been relatively good, other than that first drive.
But the defense, or rather, the offense for Indiana has been absolutely horrendous so far today.
And I have to punch it for the third time.
And this is what you expected.
You expected a close game, too.
Good defense is.
But if the Hoosiers can't get any offense out of, this is gonna be Ohio State because they have a much better offense when it comes down to what we're looking at right now and a fair catch made back in the 18 yard line.
Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, Kyle Trask.
These are all the big names right now in college football that you look at going forward going into the draft.
She and the Heisman watch in no particular order up here.
Trevor Lawrence, Justin Field, Zach Wilson, Kyle Trask and naive Harris, but especially those three Justin Fields, Trevor Lawrence and Kyle Trask.
I'll trash having even better year than Joe Burrow so far.
And Joe Burrow obviously winning Heisman last year, playing absolutely great in this run up the middle, picks up a first down Joe Burrow.
Number one pick in the draft now playing for the Bangles.
Trying to transform that team back to the playoff team once was a few a few years back, and they're gonna be a one yard sort of the first down here.
So second one fields hands it off and this run picks up a few yards and the first down should Yes, yes, just fields looking.
And it is incomplete towards the sideline.
2nd and 10 with 3 45 to go in the first.
Just yes, here we go from the 31 2nd and 10 after the incomplete pass.
Send some people in motion, takes the snap, they run it.
And this picks up the first down and a lot more to the 50 yard line and a nice run there from the offense.
And I was Teague who found a nice gap and kept on going despite a few hits.
First attend from the 50.
Here we go, Justin Fields, takes the staff, takes the handoff, rolls right, looks, has a lot of time and throws it, and it is intercepted.
Intercepted by the Hoosiers.
It was knocked around.
It was Johnson who came up with it and that his field second pick off the day and his second on the season and Ohio State second turnover And this ball thrown and it is just it's tipped up here.
It's It's actually a very high throwing ball, and it's tipped all over the place.
And its Johnson, who comes up with it here, and Jerome Johnson comes up with a huge play right there.
Yes, first to 10.
Now panics takes the snap.
Hands it off, and this goes nowhere.
So the offensive blues continue for the Hoosiers right here on first down after the interception.
2nd and 11, you there we go 2nd and 11, this past incomplete to his back.
Third AM 11 on making some adjustments at the line right here as they go, no huddle.
Their own four on third down.
The Hoosiers are from their own 42.
Panix takes the snap under pressure, and it is incomplete, and Ohio State's defense, now on five straight drives, has not let Indiana come up with big yard gain image on any drive and its 4th and 11 and this offense off.
India hasn't been able to do anything so far, and it's been a defensive showdown from both sides of the ball.
A defense of showdown on both sides of the field, both teams 4th and 11 now, and the kick back to the 16 17 yard line with 1 54 to go.
And that is where Ohio State will again go back out there.
You're no total yards.
Ohio State 121 Onley 33 for Indiana.
And they have negative 17 rushing yards so far, mostly because that big sack on pennants where the snap is over his head and this past complete for our first Dow.
Justin Fields, who has two interceptions today, has throwing two interceptions and before this game had absolutely none 11 touchdowns.
He's throwing 12 touchdowns in 200 perceptions so quickly.
This game has become a lot more of a defensive side game since that first drive, where it was all Ohio State's offense on two plays, it has become Indiana's defense and especially Ohio State's defense ruling the field right now from the 28 they handed off.
Here's the run breaks thrill to the 42 yard line, and a penalty flag flies in towards the end of the run, right and a face mask on the defense on Mullen.
So that's 15 yards after the already good run.
So this is gonna get them a good amount of yardage here.
It's gonna get them down to somewhere around the 43 yard line of Indiana.
Yeah, there was really no face mask there, like you said.
He kind of just he's going to tackle him and he kind of just nips him here, and it really didn't hit his head, didn't turn his helmet at all.
So that's a tough call there.
If you're Indiana, Justin Fields goes down back at the 49 and that is Johnson, who had the interception now has Ah, sack here, and it's Jeremy Johnson.
Jerome Johnson, Rather, who fights his way inside, pretends like he's.
He's going right at the guy, and that makes it last.
I could turn right for the quarterback and makes a great play here and there is no defense of coverage right now.
No offensive line coverage for Ohio State.
Fields takes the snap under pressure escapes.
He's gonna roll out of the pocket and get down to the 40 yard line.
There is a penalty down on the field with 12 seconds to go here in the first quarter.
Yeah, and a holding call on the offense.
So this brings it back to their own 39.
That is a huge call back to the actually their own 40.
Rather, that is a huge call here and again.
There's no offensive line coverage.
This guy shoots right through the middle here for Indiana, right through the middle.
And it's their lucky that Fields was able to get out of the pocket here and roll out 2nd and 28 coming up after the break.
Your on SportsCastr Okay.
Trying to speak without my my going over here.
And we're back with the broadcast here on SportsCastr Ohio State, leading at seven to nothing.
And it's gonna be 2nd and 28 in the offense tomorrow.
NFL football with ah lot of great games coming up.
You're gonna have the Colts and the Packers Falcons and Saints, Cowboys and Vikings, Eagles and Browns, Lions and Panthers.
A lot of great games coming off, especially excited to watch Falcons and Saints because Taysom Hill's the starter and I found that kind of odd as when you think about Taysom Hill.
This is a guy that really is barely throwing any passes in his NFL career.
Less than 50 every once in a while, they put him in here, and now they've named the starting quarterback over Jamis.
Winston and this past incomplete from Justin Fields look like it got knocked down by a Hoosier.
But some great games tomorrow, including the Patriots and Texans.
I'm excited for that.
Hope in New England could win.
That would put them at five and five is we're trying to climb back into the division, and it was knocked down at the line.
So 3rd and 28 now from their own 40 fields hands it off, and that run picks up six yards.
So they were not hoping for much anyway.
It's just not risking it, I guess.
Yeah, year this.
And Chris man to punch it away and the punk goes back to the 18 yard line, and that is where Indiana will start their sixth Dr.
They've come up empty on all of them so far, including four point points hunts.
Thanksgiving Day, Washington and Dallas at 4 p.m.
This Thursday of football feast.
Zeke Elliot had some great football games before in the past on Thanksgiving in that division 35 and one is a division leader with the Eagles, and then it's three and seven, and then it's like two and seven, and then it's like to and what seven as well, So everybody's all over the place.
So I said, That's a game that really doesn't matter in the division fight.
Is both of those teams still in, um, contention for the division? See you.
Here we go from their own 16 2nd and nine Michael Panics Junior five of 14 for 50 yards.
And how many very tough game today so far takes the snap or not? Takes the snap looks downfield and it is caught for about three yards here on the play.
Third and seven, third and seven from the 19 earned 71 2nd on the play clock takes the snap looks and it is complete for Fry Fogel.
And for the first down to the 30.
Oh, man. Oh, excuse me.
Not fried Fraggle.
I thought it was fried.
Fraggle Looks like it's gonna be filler filler.
So he completed two filler.
It was two receptions today for 12 yards and first in 10.
Now they fake the rod.
