okay, We should be streaming.
I'm going to assume we are.
So today we are going to be making I am going to I don't know why.
I always say we when it's just myself.
I'm going to be making my week 11 picks, and it's about to close out.
So that's the reason that we're rushing through this.
I want to do this a different way because usually I actually take some time, and I just, you know, ****yze the games and really, you know, see who I think actually is the better team and who will win.
But instead, what we're going to do today, we're just gonna go through it and the first team that pops into my head that I think will win.
We're going to pick it. No ****ysis.
And again, the reason for this is that because we're a little bit late, I had to stay at work a little bit extra today.
So, um, you know, I'm a little late today.
What do you want me to do? So, as you can see, I already picked the Seahawks again.
Guys, this is what we're doing.
We're just going through the games, and I'm picking the first team.
That comes to my mind that I think, well, when the game, no ****ysis, just diving straight through it.
It's a new way to do picks.
We'll see if maybe it does well for me.
Maybe it's gonna do horrible for me.
We'll find out. So Seahawks air winning tonight.
That's all you need to know.
Um, Saints or beating the Falcons.
That's all you need to know.
Bengals Air Beating Washington That's all you need to know.
Brown's air beating the Eagles.
Panthers air beating the Lions.
Air beating The Titans.
Uh, Patriots are beating the Texans.
The Steelers air beating the Jaguars, the Broncos air beating the Dolphins, the Chargers air beating the Jets, The O the Cowboys air being the Vikings.
This is terrible.
This is terrible.
The, uh, the culture beating the Packers.
Uh, the Chiefs are beating the Raiders and the Bucks are beating the rims.
Okay, we're not looking at it again.
Whatever I said, that's what I'm going to say and we're gonna see it's say it's 20 to 30.
Not looking back.
That's all you need to know.
No ****ysis needed. Literally.
The first team that I thought will win that game that pops into my head is the ones I picked.
So that's how we're doing it Just quick.
Quick picks, quick picks.
We didn't have time.
Um, you know, the game is about to start, so I wanted to get these in before that started.
So that's the reason that I did that.
Um, now we'll see how it does.
We'll see how it does.
I'm sure that I'm gonna be wrong on a lot of these.
Um, but hey, we'll see what happens.
So I pick the Seahawks over the Cardinals, the Saints over the Falcons, the Bengals over Washington, the Browns over the Eagles, the Panthers over the Lions, the Ravens over the Titans, the Patriots over the Texans, the Steelers over the Jags, the Broncos over the Dolphins.
I don't know why.
I really can't tell you why the charges over the Jets, the Cowboys over the Vikings, the Colts over the Packers again, That's like a I don't even feel good about that one.
And the Chiefs over the Raiders.
I don't feel that great about that one, either In the bucks over the Rams.
I don't feel great about any of these.
Actually, I do feel good about the Raiders pick, because, uh, they don't have their entire starting defense.
So there you go.
There's my picks.
Um, take it or leave it, take it or believe it. That's really it.
That's really it.
Um, you know, this is what you come to me for.
You come for high grade level ****ysis.
That's that's what I offer you, right? It's just straight up off the top of the dome.
Whatever comes to my mind first.
All right, so let's get into the main topic.
This is what I actually wanted to talk about.
This is what I actually wanted to discuss.
I want to discuss Lamar Jackson, and I want to discuss a little bit about the Titans game.
Let's actually talk about the Titans game first, and then we'll talk about Lamar Jackson.
So this game going into Sunday, you know, the Tennessee Titans coming back to Baltimore after what happened in the playoffs last season, Everybody saw what the Titans did to us.
Derrick Henry ran absolutely wild.
Almost 200 yards on the ground.
There's that famous stiff arm on Earl Thomas, where he turned him around and turn them into a lead blocker.
All that good stuff, you know, there's plenty of memorable moments.
There was Kalief Raymond beating Marlon Humphrey on a deep ball.
Uh, there was Lamar Jackson throwing an interception on the first drive of the game that bounced off of Mark Andrews hands.
So so many things that happened in that playoff game that everybody likes to me, right? So I have to tell you why.
I think that this year will be different now.
Uh, this game as a Ravens fan man.
Obviously, you know, I'm not feeling great.
I am not feeling great about this game.
Brandon Williams, our nose tackle who is a big run stuffing up the middle guy is out for this game.
Most likely, I think it's are actually already confirmed that he's not gonna be playing in this game, which is terrible, because every single time that Brandon Williams doesn't play for the defensive line for the Baltimore Ravens, guess what happens.
We can't stop the run for ****, and and this is the one team that you don't want to go up against without all your horses in the stable.
Not to mention Guess what, Kallias Campbell isn't gonna be playing in this game either.
So you're missing two of your best defensive lineman.
Your best to run stoppers on the team and you have to go up against the Tennessee Titans.
And who did the Tennessee Titans have? King Henry? And what does King Henry do? He drags his ******* up and down the field on every single team he plays, right? Eso I can't tell you why for some reason, for some, for some strange reason, I think, actually, I don't even think it.
I know that the Ravens can now let me emphasize, can win this game.
The Ravens can win this game, Let me tell you why.
Let me explain to you why.
Listen, I'm not expecting for us to keep Derrick Henry.
I would be extremely surprised if we can keep Derrick Henry to under 150 yards.
That's how I'm feeling right now.
Honestly, I would even go as far to say that maybe even 200 yards, right, because it's gonna be bad.
Listen, Damian Harris and Brexit Birkhead from the Patriots.
All their running backs were absolutely just tearing us a new one.
They were running up the a gap. They weren't getting pretty.
They were just running straight at us.
And, uh, you know, nobody did anything about it.
So I expect the Titans to do absolutely the same thing.
However, the reason why I think the Ravens can win this game, Let me explain to you, the Titans defense has been very, very suspect.
So one of the main reasons that I've been seeing you know amongst Titans fans is that Mike Vrabel has been calling defensive place, so this could be a problem.
You know, this could be a problem because you have your head coach who really needs to be focusing on all aspects of the game, and he's having to focus on the defense because he's calling the place.
If I'm not mistaken, you guys can correct me if I'm wrong.
So you have my Grable calling place.
You don't have Dean piece anymore.
Is your defensive coordinator? Shout out to Dean piece everybody in Baltimore.
Everybody on the Ravens remembers him.
We didn't like him, you know.
But I think a lot of Titans fans actually did like him.
So shout out to you guys if you did, um, but Mike Rabble is calling the place and they don't have a defensive coordinator over there, so that could be a problem.
And the defense has been struggling because of that.
So the offense for the Ravens, plain and simple, needs to show up.
And I would say have their best game of the season, you know, now that sounds unrealistic because the offense has been inconsistent.
We're dealing with injuries.
We don't have our best blocking tight end and Nick Boyle anymore are left tackle Ronnie Stanley.
All first team All Pro left tackle Ronnie Stanley, has been out for the past couple weeks.
He's not coming back.
He's out for the season.
Uh, we're having struggle were struggling on the offensive line.
We've been having to move people around.
Our center was having terrible snaps for two weeks in a row.
Only you can only use the rain as an excuse last week, Um, because he's been having bad snaps for quite a while, So our our center is struggling.
Um, you know they had D J.
Fluker starting at right tackle against the Patriots, and they had to bench him for Patrick Macari, who is a guard.
So basically the situation that we're sitting at right now is that we have an offensive line full of guards and I say guards because even Matt Skara, when we when we signed him as an undrafted free agent, he was a guard, he was not a center.
We made him, made them make the move and he played well.
But he's just been struggling.
I don't know if it's because he got injured last season or it's just not the same.
It's not the same.
So we have an offensive line full of guards full of guards.
We have D J Fluker.
We had him started right tackle.
He got bench for Patrick McCarthy, who's also a guard who's also playing center.
He played center for us last season.
We have Bradley Bozeman, who was actually a center but is now a left guard.
We have Tyree Phillips who's injured.
I don't know if he's coming back.
I don't know when he's coming back.
Hey was playing right guard for us.
Listen and Orlando Brown.
We know what he can do. He's actually played decently.
You've got to give Orlando Brown props, you know, from him, moving from the right side to the left side in lieu of Ronnie Stanley.
I think Orlando Brown has done a decent job over there on the left side, you know, But the offensive line has struggled.
They've had penalties, false starts, holding illegal formations like get on the **** line of scrimmage.
What are we doing here? Is this peewee football or is this NFL football like what's going on here? Eso.
That's just the offensive line that I'm talking about, but they're going to need toe have one of the best, best games that they've had all season in order to win this game.
It's plain and simple.
If the offense shows up, if they put up points, I want to say that you put up at least if you could put up 28 points.
I like the Ravens chances.
If we can put up 20 eight points, I like our chances I do against this Titans defense and this Titans team.
Now, listen, you know I'm not blind. Thio.
What Derrick Henry is going to do to us.
But another factor that I wanted to bring up is this Titan Special teams. They're terrible.
Last I checked, they were the third worst special teams ranked in the league, according to D V O A.
You know, we've seen them, miss Kicks.
We've seen them get blocked, punts blocked.
We've seen them miss tackles.
We've seen them whole like penalties here and there, like the Titan special teams has been terrible.
And the Ravens special teams, on the other hand, is the best in the league, according to Devi away, so that could be a huge factor.
There's three phases to a football game.
Let's not forget this because everybody I think what everybody is focusing on, including ourselves, including us.
The members of the Ravens flock are that Derrick Henry is gonna run wild all over us.
And yes, you're right.
We already know that's gonna happen.
We should expect that that that's what's going to happen again.
I'm not expecting to keep him under 150 yards, but if are often shows up, which is a, you know, an arduous task because they haven't really shown up that many games this season.
But if they can play well and they can put a points and our special teams just does what they do and the Titans special teams does what they do, Um, I think we can actually pull this one out.
I know we can pull this one out.
The question is, will we pull this one out? Right? That's the big question, because if you allow Derrick Henry to just put up points, you allow them to chew up the clock, keep the type of possession.
Let Ryan Tannehill hit you with those play actions.
Quite frankly, our corners need to be on point.
We can't be having those mental mistakes.
Marlon Humphrey, Marcus Peters.
We need them to make place.
I know they could make place, get the ball back for Lamar, put it in Lamar's hands and Lamar, you need to score.
You can't be turned into football over.
We've seen these games where he throws interceptions where he fumbles the ball.
We can't have that.
That is the key.
Absolutely no turnovers and when you get to the other side of the field, when you get to the Titan side of the field.
You need to score touchdowns.
It's plain and simple, like I've laid it out for you.
I'm not a head coach.
I'm not a freaking NFL guy.
You guys know I'm just a Ravens fan, that's all.
I'm just a guy that loves watching the Ravens and giving my opinion. That's all I am.
Listen, you know what you need to do.
The offense needs to show up.
It's stop with the penalties, Stop with the penalties.
Give Lamar some time to throw, you know, make his reads, make him not feel so, like just so Shook, right? Just give him some time.
It's gonna be hard.
The Titans have a good defensive line, you know? So I'm not blind to the matchups.
I'm not at all blind to the matchups that we got going on here.
It's not looking good, you know, on the matchup side of the ball, the Titans.
Just if you're just looking at a pure matchup standpoint.
Oh, Derrick Henry versus that decimated Ravens defensive line than that horrible offensive line for the Ravens versus that pretty good Tennessee Titans defensive line.
And plus, they have a good secondary.
They have decent linebackers.
This does not look good for the Baltimore Ravens, but guess what? Don't count us out.
Plain and simple.
Don't count Lamar Jackson out when we have, long as we have Lamar Jackson.
Understand? Well, not under center, but in the pistol out there in the back.
I have faith in this team that we can win games, right? I know like everybody wants to spend the narrative that he can't win big games and I understand or high profile games, which is even stupider, uneven, stupider term, in my opinion.
But as long as we have Lamar, I just have faith.
I do have faith in this team to get it done.
I know it sounds crazy, but I'm telling you, I'm telling you it can happen.
It could totally happen.
Um, you just got to go out there and take care of business.
Plain and simple, like nothing more needs to be said.
Nothing more needs to be said.
The office knows what it needs to do.
Receivers need to catch the ball.
Offensive line needs to hold up.
We need to run the ball.
We need to stop spreading the ball around with the running backs like I keep saying it, Man, I love Mark Ingram.
I love his personality.
He's a great dude.
I love what he brought last season with the big trust.
He was also the workhorse running back last season.
He was great last season.
This season, not as much.
Listen, I don't know if he's coming off of it.
It's because of he's coming off in an injury.
That might be that he's still feeling it a little bit.
That might be the case, or I don't know what it is.
He's just not the same.
He has not been the same.
Gus Edwards and J.
Dobbins need to be the guys for the Baltimore Ravens rushing offense.
Plain and simple, it's simple.
Anybody that watches the Ravens, they can see that it's very clear who the two best running backs on the team are.
I'm not saying Bench Ingram.
I'm not saying don't give him any carries, but he can't be the starter.
He can't be the guy.
He cannot be the guy.
He just doesn't have it anymore.
Plain and simple.
I'm sorry to say it again.
I love the dude, but we all know who the two best running backs on this team are, and you need to feed Gus and Gus is the best running back on this team.
Let's let's not let's not keep it.
UH, let's keep it real here.
Gus Edwards is the one that needs to get the bulk of the Carries and Mix and J. K.
Dobbins every now and again for a little bit of relief there and then put in Mark Ingram every now and again.
You know, just short yardage situations.
But aside from that, there's no reason that Mark Ingram should be starting.
There's no reason that Mark Ingram should be getting the bulk of the carries, and there's no reason for you to be trading out Mark Ingram for Gus Edwards and then J K.
Dobbins on the same drive like roll with the hot hand.
You know, it's it's plain and simple, like there's nothing else that needs to be said.
The Ravens know what they need to do to win this game against the Titans.
They know exactly what they need to do.
All right, so I want to talk about Lamar Jackson, right? And I wanna I'm trying to form my thoughts here, So give me a little moment because what I'm trying to do here for Lamar Jackson, I want to give you the real reason that Lamar Jackson is struggling this season as a Ravens fan is someone that has watched Lamar Jackson play all season and all of last season as well.
I'm going to tell you exactly what's going on now.
A lot of people are going to say you're making excuses.
Uh ah, lot of people are going to say you're making excuses for Lamar Jackson and all that type of stuff, but you can't expect for Lamar toe literally be the entire offense for the Baltimore Ravens.
And that's pretty much exactly what's going on.
He is the only reason that we're even it games.
If it wasn't for him in our defense, Oh, we, This wouldn't be a six and three team.
Any other quarterback wouldn't be ableto performance behind this offensive line.
Let's be honest here, so let's take it back to last off season after that Titans game.
What happened? You know, everybody, I I know it hurt.
Everybody was like, man, this sucks, But they could come back next year with a good draft with a good free agency, period and really compete for a Super Bowl.
And that's what everybody was expecting this season from the Ravens, even ourselves. Even the Flock.
We were expecting a Super Bowl rut, right? I think that's what everybody was expecting after last season.
After what we did, we went 14 and two came up short in the playoffs, but we thought we could have a bounce back here this year and, uh, with a fairly favorable schedule, have a pretty good record.
Probably go 13 and three at the worst 14 and two might be a repeat, maybe even 15 and one.
That's what everybody.
That's the level that everybody was expecting for the Baltimore Ravens to be playing at this year, and it's obvious that they're not.
They're currently six and three, and at this point I don't think anybody was expecting us to have three losses.
Let's be real here.
And especially not one of them being to the New England Patriots, with Cam Newton no longer having Tom Brady.
So Lamar Jackson has been struggling this season.
He's not having the same year as he did last year, last year, he put up 3100 yards in the air, 36 touchdowns, led the league in passing touchdowns on Lee six interceptions and obviously rushed for 1200 yards and seven touchdowns total.
That total comes out to 4333 yards and 43 touchdowns this year.
I actually took his numbers that he has so far, and I projected them to what they could be at the end of the season, and it comes out to.
He has about eight more yards there he has.
Well, I probably did the math wrong.
He is about nine more yards there.
He has 3136 projected 26 touchdowns to 10 interceptions.
That's what he is projecting to at the end of the season.
10 fewer touchdowns and form or interceptions and about 300 yards less on the ground.
931 and fewer carries.
160 carries versus 176 and five touchdowns versus seven.
So that comes out to a total of 4067 yards and 31 touchdowns.
Obviously a far cry.
Ah, far, far cry from his M V P campaign.
So what's going on with Lamar? And what I'm going to say here in this video is nothing that the Ravens flock doesn't know if you're a Ravens fan.
You already know all of this stuff, right? This is more so for people that are kind of like they listen to the media.
They listen to social media, and they basically believe what everybody says, that they're just like, Oh, no, Lamar has just regressed.
Everybody has figured him out.
Everybody had an off season to figure about, So that's what exactly what's going on? No, that's to me.
That's not at all what's going on.
Yes, Lamar hasn't been playing at the same level, but I think that you have to take account into other factors.
What's going on around him.
Let's go back to the off season.
We knew we needed a receiver.
The Ravens flock.
We knew we needed a receiver.
It was clear to everybody.
And you know, quite simply, I love Eric DeCosta.
I'm always talking about him.
How he's Don DaCosta, the Godfather.
He's a great GM.
I love the moves he makes, but he did not do a good enough job to support his young quarterback.
It's, I think it's quite simple.
The loss of Marshal Yanda are right guard who is a first team All Pro, pretty much year in a year out or he was a first ballot Hall of Famer, retired, right? He retired and, man, he was just instrumental toe what we did on offense last season.
He was one of the biggest reasons why we were able to just dominate teams on the ground.
Marshal Yanda being gone.
That hurt immensely, and the Ravens didn't really do much to replace that.
And I know it's almost impossible to replace that level of play at the right guard position.
So what the Ravens did, they brought in D.
J Fluker, who? They don't even put it the guard position.
For some reason, they actually have him playing swing tackle.
For whatever reason, we all thought that he was going to play right guard, and we I mean, obviously he wasn't going to step in for martial Janda and play the same level.
But he was at least going Thio make it so there there wasn't that big of a drop off.
At least that's what we were hoping at. Right guard.
But instead they draft a rookie, Tyree Phillips, in the third round, and he was the one that got the start at right guard.
He had plenty of struggles, and, you know that was going to happen.
He's not Marshal Yanda.
Nobody will be Marshal Yanda.
Um, what else? You still have Ronnie Stanley on the left side.
You still have Orlando Brown on the right side.
This was obviously in the off season, so you had to good tackles.
Nothingto worry about.
You still had Bradley Bozeman starting at left guard.
He's solid, and you still had Matt score a.
But he was coming off in injury.
We just didn't know how he was going to play.
And I think it's clear to everybody watching them that Matt Skara has struggled, especially with snaps.
Um, you know, and we saw it come to a head against the Patriots, whether it's the rain, whether it's his injury, whatever it is, it's been bad.
The offensive line has just not been the same.
We had one of probably one of the best top five offensive lines in the league last season, so yeah, I'm not blind to it.
That's one of the biggest reasons that Lamar was able to succeed so much that he had great protection.
And he also could just be behind Marshal Yanda.
He could follow Marshal Yanda, Uh, you know, to the promised land pretty much to wherever he wanted to go on 4th and 1/4 and three.
You just give it to Lamar and tell him, uh, just go right behind Marshal Yanda.
That's all you have to do, right? And it worked.
It worked every single time.
We saw multiple times against the Seahawks against the 40 Niners.
We've seen it so many times, and this year it hasn't been the same.
So we didn't replace that.
And obviously it's hard to replace that, but yeah, the offensive line.
Just There wasn't a lot of work put into it this offseason.
I know we signed D J Fluker like I said, and we drafted Tyree Phillips, but it wasn't enough.
It wasn't enough.
You have to You have to give mawr help to the offensive line.
So there's that factor than the wide receiver position.
Everybody knew everybody knew that the Ravens needed a wide receiver.
I've been saying I've been clamoring for ever since Lamar Jackson became the starter.
I want a big body possession number one receiver, you know.
And you would think it makes sense, obviously, because Lamar Jackson likes to hit the tight ends right? That's that's his favorite target.
He loves Mark Andrews.
He loved well, Hayden, Hurst and him never really had a connection.
But Nick Boyle, you know, he loved to hit those tight ends.
So you would think that that would translate to the receiver position.
Oh, get him a big body, right? But no, the Ravens don't do that.
They had an opportunity, and they were.
Apparently, they tried to get DeAndre Hopkins.
I'm assuming that they weren't willing to give up a first round pick.
At least that's what I'm assuming that happened.
Or you could make the argument that hey, maybe Bill O'Brien didn't want DeAndre Hopkins in the A F. C.
So he shipped him over to the Cardinals for a second round pick.
But if you're the Ravens, give the Texans three first round picks, it doesn't matter.
You're trying to win a Super Bowl this year.
You gotta get DeAndre Hopkins on your team, no matter what right you have to What? Sell them the farm.
Sell them your entire draft for DeAndre Hopkins.
Give them the next five years.
Were the first round draft picks because you're trying to win a Super Bowl, right? But that didn't happen.
You know, it's DeAndre Hopkins.
Let's just say maybe the Texans didn't want him in the A F.
C. Okay, fair enough.
Then you have Stefon Diggs.
Guess what? He was on the Vikings.
He was looking for a team.
Now, maybe one could argue that Maybe Stefon Diggs didn't want to come to the Ravens.
That's a possibility.
But he went to the Bills.
You know, Go out and get him.
Go out and get him.
I just don't understand why you didn't make a move.
There's also There was also Robby Anderson.
Robby Anderson was a free agent, and he's been playing extremely well in Carolina.
He has been playing extremely well in Carolina.
Um, you know, maybe I don't know if he would have played this at the same level on in this Ravens offense because We just can't develop wide receivers.
We suck it Coaching wide receivers.
It's just always perpetually that were trash at developing wide receivers.
And we can't coach these guys.
It's it's crazy, But listen, you draft Hollywood Brown or sorry, you draft marquees Brown in the first round.
I said it at the beginning of the draft.
I did not like marquees Brown now obviously have changed my tune a little bit on him.
I do believe in him a little bit more because I saw what he did in his rookie season.
But let's be honest, he has not performed to that same level this season and we thought that he was gonna be better.
We thought he was going to be much more improved because he had screws in his feet in his rookie season.
He was very skinny.
He put on some muscle.
Um, we thought he was gonna be faster.
We thought he was gonna be developing his routes because he was working out with a B with his cousin.
Um we thought that marquees Brown was going to come out here this year and just tear it up because we saw the type of chemistry that Lamar Jackson and marquees had in his rookie season. It was insane.
Like Lamar made some just crazy throws to Marqise that would get completed like you could just see that those two had a connection.
I always mentioned it in the off season.
I mentioned it during last season that marquees and Lamar have this connection.
This season, it's like they're two different people.
Marquees and Lamar do not have that chemistry at all whatsoever.
That chemistry is completely gone, and I don't know where it went.
I have no idea where it went.
Now there's a possibility that everybody's double teaming him, but not really, because when you watch the all 22 he's just not beating the corners like he's getting bullied, right? His route running is has a lot left to be desired. Let's be honest.
But hey, I'm not gonna you know, I'm not gonna criticize his route running because I'm not.
I'm not a football expert.
I'm just a fan. Right.
So anyway, so you draft marquees Brown, you had receivers like D K. Metcalf.
Brown, Terry MacLaurin you had receivers available that could have fit better for this team, in my opinion.
Now, obviously it's hear, say, it's you know it's looking back.
You never know what will happen if those receivers air actually on the team.
But listen to those five.
Receive some of those receivers that I mentioned.
Let's think about the five receivers that I mentioned Stefon Diggs, DeAndre Hopkins, D.
Metcalf, Terry McLaurin and Robby Anderson.
What does all five of those have in common? Not only could they have been Ravens if we actually made the right moves, but also those five receivers are leading the league in receiving yards on.
That's the most frustrating thing about it.
That's the most frustrating thing about it is that you see guys like the Chiefs now.
They already had great weapons on offense, but they're surrounding Patrick Mahomes with amazing weapons.
I'm not at all trying to say that Lamar's on the same level as Mahomes.
Don't calm down, Chiefs fans.
I know what you want to say.
Listen, obviously he's not right, but we haven't seen Lamar in that type of offense.
Even the Bills are putting on offense around Josh Allen for him to succeed a good offensive line and great receivers.
Lamar doesn't have that.
He doesn't have great weapons.
And on top of that, not only talking about the receivers and the offensive line, the Ravens ran the most three tight end sets in 2019.
What happens in the off season? You ship off Hayden Hurst to the Atlanta Falcons for a second round pick? What do you take with that second round pick? J.
Dobbins? A running back? I like J.
Dobbins, but shout out to my guy Sonny from SCG Sports.
He mentioned it.
Running back was not a huge need.
You could have taken a receiver.
There were receivers available, and instead you wait until the third round to take Devin Duvernay.
Nothing against Devin Duvernay.
I love the dude.
I think he's a great receiver.
He's a slot receiver.
He's very physical, and I want to see more of him on the field.
You know, he's a good player.
He is a good player, but you didn't see you took Patrick Queen in the first round.
You just don't see the Ravens really building up the offense around Lamar Jackson.
So again, a lot of people are gonna say, These are excuses.
I understand it.
But you've got to think about the difference from 2019 to 2020 and how he's struggling now because the Ravens just can't build on offense for their young quarterbacks.
It's the same thing happened with Joe Flacco.
Now I know people are going to say he sucks.
He's Joe Flacco.
But he's the goat Flacco elite dragon.
I don't wanna hear **** about that.
Plain and simple, the Ravens have failed.
Thio put the right weapons around Lamar Jackson, in my opinion, to put a good offensive line around Lamar Jackson to give them the protection, to be able to do things in the pocket, to be able to now.
And it's not on Lee the things around him.
Let's not forget about that.
Let's let's also mention the play, calling Greg Roman very questionable.
Play calling, right? Let's not forget about that.
But all those all those air factors of why Lamar Jackson has been struggling, that's not to just totally say that he doesn't deserve any of the blame.
That's not what I'm trying to say here because, yes, he hasn't been his accurate his last season.
He has been missing a few more throws from what it looks like.
But, I mean, can you blame him? Can you blame him with with just the way that this offense has been performing around Lamar Jackson like you're expecting Lamar toe literally be your only offense like he is the Onley guy on offense? Literally.
If if you had Lamar Jackson on the Chiefs and he had all those weapons around him and he was just sucking okay, yes, you can say, Listen, Lamar's not it.
He does not, you know, he's just not it.
But how can you say that? He's not it when he's literally the only guy on the offense.
Explained that to me.
That's what I want to know, you know, and we'll never know how it works out, you know, and maybe there's a chance there's always that question.
What if you flip Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson? Patrick Mahomes would win the Super Bowl with the Ravens? You never know.
If that that could actually happen.
He would make marquees Brown All Pro star receiver.
You don't know if that's true, you don't know if that's true because we haven't seen it.
We haven't seen that reality.
That universe, right? So all I'm saying is that yes, a bunch of people are blaming this on Lamar himself, and that's fine.
I understand, you know, put the blame on him because he hasn't been playing extremely well. That's fine.
But don't just completely overlook what the franchise and the organization has failed him in doing so and not put an offense around him.
So one more thing that I want to include here.
And when I mentioned this when I read this out, I don't want this to be, like, taken as truth, okay? I don't want this to be seen as this is exactly what's going on with Lamar, because, I mean, this is what it comes down to.
This is the reason that I wanted to make this video because of what somebody told me earlier today.
But listen, I want I want to reiterate this.
Don't take this just with a grain of salt.
Don't just take this with just a great assault.
Take this with the entire salt shaker of what I'm about to tell you because I don't know if this is true.
I really don't know if this is true.
I'm not going to say who told me this.
I'm not going to say where I got it from, but I heard something that supposedly and again allegedly This could be, as the kids say, Oh, this is cap this.
This actually could be cap, Believe me again.
Take this with the entire salt shaker.
This could absolutely be false.
And I'm just being fooled here, but this is what somebody told me.
I want to read to you what somebody told me about Lamar Jackson.
I keep having to say this because everybody's gonna say, Oh, you're ****ing lying, Joe.
You don't know what you're talking about.
Allegedly I keep having to tell you this.
Somebody played Madden with Lamar Jackson.
Okay, again, this is this could be a lie.
I'm just I'm just telling you what somebody told me, Okay? I have to keep saying it because you know how people are in the comments.
Supposedly, Lamar told him I'm not trying to make excuses, but the reason why I'm not playing at my peak is because the hype is gone.
People don't realize that people that watch us play in the stadium brings me high energy, and I have not been feeling that lately.
I'm sorry, but it's been boring and you can see that from other teams as well.
Again, I hate I have to reiterate this.
That could be false.
That could just be something that's completely made up.
It's absolutely a lie.
Yes, it could be.
But if it's true, that's interesting to think about.
What if what if that's a factor as well? I'm not saying that it's to that extent that Lamar is just purposefully not playing at a high level because the crowds not there, Um, but I could believe that players that football players feed off of the crowd's energy, I I think that's totally feasible.
So I think that could potentially be a factor, not at all trying to say that that's the reason that Lamar has been struggling this season.
That's not what I'm trying to say here, okay? And again I keep having to say it, man because I know how people are in the comments.
They always like.
They hear one thing and then they just they run with it.
This could be entirely false.
Okay, I'm just saying what somebody told me now, but I could see how there could be some truth to that.
You know, that that could be one of the factors to the reasons that Lamar has not been playing that well because there's no crowd in the stands, There's no energy to feed off of.
There's no, you know, I mean football.
I think that the audience has a huge, a huge effect on games that really not many other sports have.
So that's just kind of what what I wanted to throw out, man.
So let me know how you feel about it in the comments.
Again, I know people are gonna say you're making excuses for Lamar.
That's not what I'm trying to do here.
All I'm trying to do is to put things into perspective, right? Because I think just try to put yourself in a Ravens fans shoes and you see that your team is not really surrounding your Oh yeah, Dez Bryant.
, 30 35 year old Dez Bryant.
What's he gonna do? Come on like put things into perspective.
Would you be happy if you're young? Third year quarterback who was just a nem VP was not given any, Really, They weren't.
They didn't put any stock into the receiver position.
They got rid of one of his main weapons in Hayden Hurst, right? They and I'm not just talking about for Lamar himself, but for the offense is a whole Think about all those things.
Just think about all those things.
Put yourself into a Ravens fan shoes and think about why Lamar might be struggling this year.
All right, so that's really all I wanted to say.
Man, I think I'm gonna go ahead and end this now.
