What's popping is your boy a couple of quick updates is not gonna be Oh, it's not gonna be Oh, it's not gonna be Oh, it's not gonna be Oh, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right.
Just a little joke, all right? Just a little joke.
I had to get a little echo in there just for the fun of it.
But anyway, just a couple of little updates.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not gonna be too long.
But the New York Knicks have traded or actually absorb the contract of Ed Davis from the Utah Jazz.
And they also have interest in Gordon Hayward.
So let's go ahead.
Let's break this down for a couple of minutes, and then I'm gonna be out of here.
So according to Adrian, Will Janowski, Ladies and gentlemen.
And he's not the only ones double other sources out there.
But the Utah Jazz is sending Ed Davis and 2 2023 2nd round picks to the New York Knicks.
Wine horse, ESPN and Adrian Walton all ski.
So let's break this down.
Ed Davis makes $5 million this season.
The new York Knicks absorbed at Davis's contract.
They now have 35 $36 million to use in free agency.
But on top of that, they ac***ulated too second round draft picks in 2023.
The Knicks now have MAWR second round draft picks in 2023 four.
They had their own.
I believe they have one from I'm sorry.
They have three second round draft picks in 2023 on they have to first round draft picks.
In 2023 they had one of their own.
They have a Dallas first round draft pick, then they have three second round draft picks in 2023 maybe even four draft picks in 2023.
The Knicks have a lot of draft picks in 2023 in a lot of second round draft picks in 2023.
What's all this mean? Well, for one in 2023 that's when high school players will be able to enter the draft.
Think about that High school players could enter the draft.
The draft will be deeper because you're gonna get guys who played in college who are coming out.
This is the first year.
So in 2022 2021 2020 guys are still playing in college.
Some of those guys will be entering the draft, so 2023 should be a deep draft.
So people are ask, who cares about all these second round draft picks? Well, they could mean something in 2023 because the draft could be deep.
And so that also means the Knicks have plenty of draft picks to trade.
Ladies and gentlemen to trade.
These are strategic moves.
Strategic moves, Smart moves by Leon Rows in front office.
I think you acquire Ed Davis.
Absorb him into your cap space and you take on too.
Draft picks to second round draft picks in 2023.
Now, you have plenty of draft picks that you can use if you wanna executed Trade tonight tomorrow, right? If you want to do a signing trade, you can use thes draft picks.
Ladies and gentlemen, you can use these draft picks strategic moves and and not just this off season, but next offseason, or whenever.
So the next ac***ulating draft picks you ac***ulate draft picks to trade them because you're not going.
Thio, sign all these guys.
You're not gonna draft all of these guys and then sign all of these guys strategic moves, smart moves, strategic moves and then this Gordon Hayward.
Let me tell you something.
Ladies and gentlemen, Gordon Hayward declined to accept a $35 million team option or player option.
He had the option to take $35 million to remain in Boston.
He opted out of $35 million.
The only thing that I can think of when you say that he opted out of $35 million ladies and gentlemen, is that he just doesn't wanna be in Boston because he doesn't like what's happening as faras uh, you know, his playing time and where he fits in with that team and it could be both.
And maybe he has, ah, wink wink from another team to say we're gonna hit you off with a longer contract.
We'll hit you off with a contract.
That's, you know, four years, however many million dollars, the Knicks are interested.
How interested? We'll see.
And I know I said before you guys follow the show.
I know I said before that I really don't have interest in Gordon Hayward, but I didnt have interesting Gordon Hayward at $35 million.
Do I have interest in Gordon Hayward at this contract? Yeah, I might not at 35 million, though, but I might have interest in this contract here.
But anyway, ladies and gentlemen, that's the story.
And I'm sticking to it.
That is the story, and I'm sticking to it.
The New York Knicks.
They trade for Ed Davis, taking his contract, absorbs contract, pick up a couple of 2023 2nd round draft picks, and they're gonna use those draft picks.
I think they're probably gonna use those draft picks and trades.
And then Gordon Hayward, they have some interest in Golden Heywood.
We'll see what happens from there.
Ladies and gentlemen, um, smart strategic moves by Leon rows in the front office.
Like what I'm seeing.
I like what they're doing.
Um, appreciate the time.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm out of here.
