So let's get off with some notable injuries from the weekend.
Well, before we start with the injuries, you know, here we are.
We're here to help you suck less, and I had to defend somebody, had a bad week.
It was a really wild week around the fancy football landscape.
I think at least in my league again, most leagues were gonna be fairly similar with, uh, individual individuals drafting in the same areas, but I put up 75 points.
My team is really good.
I'm seven and one.
I was seven and one IM seven and two now lost to my my good friend Eli I grew up with which is the person I hate losing to, uh, give me with 81 points.
So, guys, it z even the best people so suck like I was bad this week.
And it was all all the good people.
Nick Chubb was back.
We had Davante Adams.
Mark Andrews Didn't matter.
I know it was a horrible week.
So I'm here, Thio the good thing about the show.
Brush it off and look into next week, you've got the playoffs around the corner and, uh, starting off with injuries, I think, you know, from a team like the Saints that have a lot of firepower.
Yeah, We got Michael Thomas Camara, Jared Cook, And most starting lineups are boy 41 year old Drew Brees.
I don't know if any of you guys were watching when he took that hit, but that was the second most, uh, that it took it out of me.
Just like that going down.
You could see the life come out of Drew Brees face.
Uh, the update was five broken ribs.
As of now, there's a potentially AZM or class long, and they're saying at best three weeks.
If I recall, I want to say it was 2014, maybe 2013.
Uh, Tony Romo had a very similar injury that put him out for six weeks.
So I think Tony was five or six years younger than Drew.
We don't know the severity when they don't give us that timeline like that.
It really has me worried.
Luckily, the same turning position.
They're probably gonna go to the playoffs.
Either way, Uh, I'm betting that the degrees sits on the sidelines until week one of the playoffs.
Uh, they did it with Teddy Bridgewater last year.
They came in and they were a little slow.
They lost the Vikings, but this might be the last goal for breathe.
I know how my injuries heal it.
31 years old, so I can't imagine how they heal it. 41 years old.
I think that, uh, Jamis Winston is going to step in, and he might be a better fantasy option.
than Drew Brees.
Well, this guy's, uh the situation is, uh, Drew Brees likes toe, you know, throw a little dunk passes much like Bridgewater James sliced to let that ball fly.
I want to say the average through the air last year.
Gonna have to look at last year. Stats.
Drew Brees was like his average.
You know, Ball was like 7.
9, you know, you know, 7.
I think James led the league was like 11.5.
Hey, also had drops by receivers last year.
We know if we know anything about the receivers there in New Orleans, they catch the ball.
They it's a touch of catching.
I'm pretty high on James this week. If you need a quarterback.
If you don't like the quarterbacks you have, um, you know, I'm saying here I am sitting in a waiver wire Spot Number two guys.
I told everybody last week to hold on to that waiver wire for the playoffs.
I got Carson Wentz and Jared Goff.
I can't say that I love my I can't say I love the guys.
I'm trotting out there.
So, um, seriously thinking about taking up Jamis Winston.
I think he's somebody that could lead that offense on.
The guy had 1500 yards passing last year and 10 of the offense.
That was just okay.
I think Sean Payton is a much better coach.
We still have tasting help Thio worry about, but I think the Saints I hate to say they're not better, but from a fantasy standpoint, moving the ball down the field, airing it out I think that the offense could be a little bit more explosive with Jameis.
Winston, do not get me wrong.
You wanna go to Super Bowl? You want to be the quarterback Jameis Winston.
But from fantasy standpoint, I like Jameis Winston on I'm seriously contemplating, you know, taking him with my my top waiver claim.
Um, aside from that, you know, uh, McCaffrey.
We kind of knew he was going out this week.
We know, you know, Tuesday last week it was sort of was pretty banged up.
They look to be out of playoff contention.
They're not going to rush him back.
He's, uh, my Davis.
He's gonna, you know, remain on.
Of course I get get lucky.
I get Davis this week So you know it didn't get didn't get lucky enough for him toe to drop in my league.
But yeah, I think McCaffrey could be back in the fantasy playoffs if you had him.
You're likely out, though.
Ah, lot of the guys that have McCaffrey.
It's really hard delusion.
Everyone pick and stay, stay relevant, especially in tight league on.
And then the other new injury we had this week was was Tyler Lockett was like it was in me today.
If he misses in time, it all it's going to be, Ah, week at most again, potentially two weeks.
They dio Seattle's against the gun there.
They're gonna need to win.
The Rams stymied them on its Hey, we're in that part of the season where you're gonna get banged up.
Guys, we're gonna miss a week here and come back.
We're looking long term, you know, they're looking at the playoffs.
We're looking at the fans playoff.
So that's, um, I have some options in mind here now when we get to the fire.
But if you're dead set on sticking with Seattle Seahawks players, a name that you're not gonna see on any waiver list if you roll, you know, lock it to game time and I want, you know, you want to play the way everywhere you want to risk It didn't more.
He's the number.
You know. He'll step. It is the number two there in Seattle.
He's a great option.
Guy could put a points.
He's very similar locket.
And, hey, if you wanna roll until game time with with lock it have late drop.
David Moore will slip right in there.
He'll get to the point again.
He's not gonna produce like the locker will.
But if you don't wanna waste a waiver claim, guys, he's gonna be good option for him, you know, And the other, the other injuries we kind of knew about that was most of new ones there.
So we have some by weeks to speak.
We got a bunch of them.
So we got the Buffalo Bills this week.
The Chicago Bears did need one really badly.
Um, Miami Dolphins have a bye week.
The New York Jets, the Giants, and the San Francisco 40 Niners.
So a bunch of people on by.
So check your lineups.
This is usually I want to say the biggest bye week of the year they really started.
Thio Thio fizzle out as the rest of the year goes on with, I believe Tampa Bay having the latest one in Week 13 on DSO.
I'll start with some streamers again.
You know, you heard me talk about you know, Jamis Winston.
You got guys like Josh Allen that have been, you know, people in starting in pretty, you know, pretty often, uh, to, uh, he's starting to move his way in the lineups.
I guarantee you won't start any Jets or Giants quarterbacks, but, hey, if you were more power to you So Jamie's going to get to Atlanta Beauty about that.
He played against Atlanta's entire career, So nothing new.
There you have it.
Just 29 fantasy points a game in standard scoring against Atlanta.
I expect a lot of the same this week, so if you need a plug and play, if you need a win, Jamis Winston guy Philip Rivers going against Green Bay. Green Bay is down.
One potentially two cornerbacks.
Going into this contest, this game could turn into a shootout.
That Indianapolis defense was pretty.
Invest last week.
But, hey, I think Aaron Rodgers is a different monster, somebody that they haven't faced, something they don't have to face often.
Eso you know I like.
I like the Rivers there in Green Bay and in a potential shootout on then Alex Smith.
You know, the guy threw the ball with 45 times last weekend there.
They're not able to run the ball.
They're gonna be playing from behind.
Alex Smith is a good quarterback.
Before he went down before, before, he was taken over by Patrick Mahomes.
There in Kansas City, he had a top five fantasy year.
You know the guy can.
The guy could swing the ball.
He's gotta work on some of his turnovers, but he's got good weapons.
His number one wide receiver.
He's been a great tight, and they could move the ball there.
Ah, in Washington, I think you know if you need to stream somebody you know he's my third option.
Hope, hoping you could get James Philip.
But, hey, I like Alex Smith as well on.
Then, from a defensive point, we got the Chargers going in tow to Denver.
Uh, Denver office drew lock looks like he might be out again. He has.
He's dealing with a rib injury as well.
He's 20 years younger than Debris, so he might feel a little quicker.
We got Washington.
That defense has been pretty good because they're going into Cincy with the rookie quarterback.
Burrows played pretty well, but you know that front seven and in Washington is really, really good and they might be able to slow him down, forcing Foursome airs on then Vikings.
They're going to Dallas Vikings again.
They look pretty good against your bare.
Is there, Richie? The Dallas offense? We don't what it's gonna look like.
Looks like Dalton's start.
Zeke looks healthy coming off a bye.
I don't know what to expect, but but hey, I like that.
Vikings did look pretty pretty good last night.
They I expect a couple of turnover that game.
The Dallas turnover margin is horrible.
And hey, if they can't get that, they can't run the ball.
That's they're gonna They're gonna have a tough time moving the chains.
And so I think that, like, even if you're you know, you're desperate, you know, the Dallas offense is you have to prove that they can, since Deck went out, score more than one touchdown a game.
So let's zero with that.
Um, but yeah, whatever.
Thursday night 90 minds Boomer bust.
He's gonna be my number one waiver wire picked this week.
He like I said, you're not sure what you're going to get out of Indianapolis Colts running backs, and we knew that we're talking about that since Week one.
Last week was this week.
The offense moved the ball really well.
When he's in there, he's got a really favorite match up against Green Bay.
I like him as my number one.
He's the best option on the waiver wire this week.
I like him as my number one because he has staying power.
He's someone that I think you can flex most of the potentially the rest of the year.
If he keeps putting these games together, uh, the guy that I probably like the most, the highest up side.
I think it's Caleb Lodge in his position there in San Diego.
Right back, Gloria said, to return.
Yes, but Heckler's not your every down run through the tackles back, and Belhadj has proven that he is better than Josh Kelley.
He's better than Justin Jackson.
Hey, the last two games.
Seven catches for another 49 yards.
That's our B two numbers.
With just Jackson and Josh Kelley sharing carries along the way and too devious Pope, there has been a handful of guys touched the ball there, if the charges, and get to an offense where it's just secular and blockage I like.
I like the options of both of those guys.
You know? I think the killer comes back.
The lodge moved to flex option, and we'll see how the office runs with those two in it.
I think we're gonna have a couple of weeks with Ecuador and lodged in the same, you know, same offense to see how that operates.
But, hey, if you need a guy could put up our B two numbers right now, I like glass and I like the laws potentially for the rest of season.
Um, third, Mr Achmed there in Miami, Gaskin is out again.
Was out again this last week.
A man was clearly better.
The Miami Dolphins quit giving the ball to Brita.
They dropped Jordan Howard yesterday.
Uh, he could make.
He's going to keep his number one job.
You know, if you have Myles Gaskin on your bench e, I recommend going after Achmed.
I think he's, uh, you know, gonna be that number one there until until gaskin returns.
The fear I have now is he's looked pretty good with two.
Uh, they got a good thing, you know, a good a good thing going there in Miami.
We could look at a little bit more of a time share when it comes to Gaskin.
Achmed, we won't know until gas and comes back.
But, hey, if you're looking to hedge your bet there with the Miami Dogs running backs, they've had a pretty good year.
They've been, you know, 32 flex worthy.
You know, that's gonna be a guy I look at on the receiving side.
Uh, like I said, if you lost Tyler Lockett, here's my number one receiver coming out.
Michael Pittman, Junior love.
This guy coming into the year had some injuries early on.
He reminds me of Vincent Jackson.
I don't know if you guys remember Vincent Jackson played early in his career with Bill Rivers, is built very similarly.
Red zone Target runs across the field really well.
Tall Long has a ton of athletic ability.
Comes from a football pedigree.
So I like I like this time and Kid put up 17 catches on eight targets on 10 last week.
Didn't find the end zone, but he was starting the end zone twice.
I think he could step into that number one role there in Indianapolis.
Philip River needs a go to guy.
It's not gonna be t Y Hilton.
It's not exact Paschal Michael Pittman.
Is that the prototypical number one outside right receiver for Philip Rivers? Hey, loves the big man on the outside.
Loves him in the red zone.
What is the Boston field? Um, Pittman's a guy I'm targeting this week pretty heavily, because I think he's in the He's not quite to where t.
He's not quite where Justin Jefferson is, but this that this.
Watching the classes, looking that they could get it done on the guy.
You know, we have four or five weeks of to go if you know when you make the playoffs.
He's a guy I'd rather have on my bench or in my flex position than than having to go up against.
And if he gets hot, because you know that Colds team looks like they could be for real on then to roll it out if you didn't add him last week to Kobe Myers, I don't love that he is the number one receiver in New England.
That's not saying much, but the guy's got 37 target For the last four weeks, it's clear he's communities.
I learned last week.
They they've known each other since, you know, Kobe was like 16 years old, so they had an instant connection.
That stuff I like to find out upon, You know, that's usually where you could get a guy, Ah, week early.
But yeah, that's, uh, from a from a waiver wire standpoint, that that's who I like.
Uh, I will throw one more thing out there.
Uh, that guy coming off injury didn't start the year.
Real strong records tight in Philadelphia.
Looks like he couldn't start this weekend against the Browns.
He's designated to return again.
I haven't seen a practice report.
We won't get that to Wednesday But if you need a tight in, Zach Ertz has top five tied in capabilities.
There's clearly a lot of, you know, hands toe to feed their there.
That offense does not know what to do.
I really hope that that it's gonna be the cure to that.
Do you have a chance to stash him? Uh, on your bench? You need that backup tight going to the playoffs.
I'm going after Zack Kurtz as well again.
There's not I can put behind that because we've got got it there as well, so it's gonna be based on the situation you're in.
But if you like your team like where you're at and take a risk, you know you can make your, you know, save yourself.
You know, from you know, your your your opponents getting somebody like Zachary towards the back end of the year.
I'm snagging him.
Its's something that, you know, I actually popped up in my league.
I realized he was there this weekend.
He was a late add for me on Sunday because I didn't want to risk having to go up against people on the way everywhere for him.
But I have the opposite.
I had the ability of the opening on the open spot on my bench.
Uh, some, you know, not everybody could be open.
Afford that option.
So that's what I'll leave you guys with today.
Awesome. And don't forget to follow us on.
