Hey, what's going on? Sportscaster, Welcome back, Everybody to the sports this year aren't sportscaster.
And today I'm gonna do my predictions for the 53 man roster year for the New England Patriots comma opening night.
So the Patriots opening night is set in stone against the Pittsburgh Steelers, 8:20 p.
Eastern time on Sunday, September 8th.
That game will be broadcast on NBC and also have the play by play called for You guys for that game as well.
And also the play by play call Ford a game coming up the week for the preseason up against the New York Giants.
But today, I'm gonna go over my predictions year for the 53 man roster on opening and night for the New England Patriots.
So we'll start out with the offense, and I will go over to the defense of end of the ball later on, and then towards the end, will go through the special teams or so.
So right now we'll start off with the offense.
You're my 53 man roster predictions, and I have Tom Brady to go the greatest of all time is the starting quarterback.
I have two quarterbacks on the roster here for the 53 man Ross Theirself.
Tom Brady, six time Super Bowl champ, 42 years old, still playing in the NFL, 20 seasons in the NFL.
I have him, of course, the starting quarterback right behind them.
Javits did in the fourth round draft pick who looked really sharp so far through the preseason for Jared Stanton from Auburn.
He'll be the number two quarterback backing up Tom Brady on the roster.
As far as the quarterback cut, I have Brian Hoyer here, who will not make the roster on predicting, as I think, that he'll be possibly a subject to a trade with the Indianapolis Colts, along with possibly cornerback Duke Dogs.
And in that trade, as the Patriots would receive a tight end.
Most likely from that, possibly Jack Doyle from the Coats.
Colts or so will be the best scenario there.
But I have Brian Hoyer subject to a trade as, um, Brian Hoyer.
Not being able to see any action of week to read a preseason against Carolina really set it back herself was just Jared standing out there in the field after Brady played, so that is kind of a question mark here.
Brian Hoyer can play in the future for the Patriots and being number three string quarterback.
I think that he should definitely be a two on another organization.
And since Andrew Luck retired a couple of nights ago, the courts are really in desperate need of some quarterback help there.
They only have Jacoby percent, which they got from the Patriots a few years ago to Patriots traded him rate around the roster.
So I think that was back in 2017.
But now they have possibly trade going up, possibly with Brian Hoyer.
Going someplace is most likely a scenario there.
I'm not sure if I see Chad Kelly as a fit as the number two backup quarterback behind percent for the court, so it kind of makes sense there to put Brian Hoyer in to fill that void for the backup Q B behind Jacoby per set in Indianapolis, Colts lined up.
So as far as the quarterbacks have two quarterbacks in the Ross there, Tom Brady and Jarrett Stidham and we'll move on to the running backs here have six running backs as part of the roster will start out with Sony.
Michelle, the leading running back for the Patriots for this upcoming season, as he's a lock for the roster.
Second year running back from Georgia for a first round pick back in 2018 as he ran for over 1000 arm, he's trying to go for 1000 rushing yards here he was at 931 rushing yards last season.
So trying to progress in the second season here with Sony Michelle trying to get a 1000 plus rushing year and then James White, of course, another lock for the roster.
The leading past catching running back this past season in the A F C for the NFL is he had 87 receptions last season, lead of running backs in receptions in the A F C and then Damian Harris.
He's another spot that I have on the 53 men rostered 1/3 round pick from Alabama.
Also in there having making the rosters.
Rex Burkhead, as some of the other projections that I saw had Rex Burkhead possibly being traded, Possibly that Houston was a couple of the scenarios that they saw the filling the spot for Lamar Miller since the Houston Texans lost Lamar Miller on the season ending I R with a torn A C l.
And then I have on the roster.
Brandon Bolden will make the roster.
Mostly hell be a course special teamer this upcoming season for the Patriots, as Bill Belichick brought him back for a reason after a a season in Miami that play a huge part in the special teams unit coming up for this upcoming season for the Patriots.
And then, of course, the fullback from Brown University.
James Devlin, who had a one yard touchdown plunge last week in the Week three the preseason against Carolina.
He's gonna be a bulldozer.
Russia once again this season for the Patriots, so effective at the one yard line, rushing the ball into the end zone.
So James Devlin, of course.
A lock on the pages roster.
As far as the running back cuts here for the Patriots, I have cut from the Ross there, rookie Nick Approach set on drafted rookie out of L S u.
I haven't cut from the roster for the Patriots.
Also, Jacob Johnson.
Ah, fullback as well, Who is the number two full back behind James Devlin, right? now in the preseason, but he hasn't got that much action.
And I think that Jacob Johnson could possibly have lands on the practice squad just for kind of like fullback decked or so just in case James Devlin ever goes down with an injury or so.
So I see the fullback Jacob Johnson moving over to the practice squad for the Patriots, and you see Nick Pro set on drafted from Ellis.
You getting cut moving on now to the wide receivers on my roster predictions heading into opening day for the Patriots.
Here I have for the locks on the roster.
Joy and Edelman, of course.
Super Bowl 53 M v p is back in practicing back and ready for this season opener after suffering a left thumb injury in late July.
As joined, Edelman is ready.
Also the first round draft pick and Akio Harry.
I have him on the roster, too.
Of course, big, strong hands can go up for contested balls.
He's got tons of it out there.
So hell be a great weapon for Tom Brady. Of course.
Josh Gordon being reinstated back to the NFL here, it's gonna play a huge role for the Patriots on the outside perimeter as well, with flash back into the lineup as a wideout.
Also, I have making a roster.
Philip Door set.
He showed terrific chemistry last week in the preseason for the Week three game against Carolina.
Seven receptions for 47 yards for Philip Door, set in the last game, hoping for another year.
Progression here for the former Indianapolis Colts.
Philip Door set as he's been praised by Tom Brady for a really hard working.
Why Receiver? Who just has been praised throughout training camp by Tom Brady.
Um, 1st 1 on the field, last one out for Philip Door set.
Done a terrific job here, showing chemistry throughout the preseason with TB 12 and, of course, Jacoby Meyers coming on in nowhere here in training campus.
He's had a stellar training camp gone over to the preseason game.
He's excelled in his preseason game so far.
Jacoby Meyers will make the roster for the Patriots, the undrafted rookie from North Carolina State, and it'll be another player in another year that Bill Belichick at somebody make the roster as an undrafted player here for the Patriots.
Just an incredible training camp Incredible preseason for Jacoby Meyers, and it translates over to a spot on the roster for him.
I'm predicting he did those struggle going up against the Carolina Panthers first team defense.
He did struggle, but when he pleading as the second teamers out in the field, that's where he called his receptions there.
Jacoby Meyers, right now leads the NFL preseason with 19 reception so far.
Hopefully, we can see the N C State rookie Jacoby Meyers excel and, hopefully, progress throughout this upcoming season, when he does have the chance to play against the first teamers out on the field.
And then this one is a bubble player to me.
But I have him in as now.
We haven't seen a play in an actual game that's do Marius Thomas.
But right now I have dough.
Marius Thomas in on the Patriots roster from the 53 man roster. Prediction.
So Marius Thomas coming back from that tourney Achilles last season for the Houston Texans, I still believe that he has enough in the take.
He does, for sure.
He was actually interviewed yesterday in his post press conference with the media.
He said that he thought that he had enough in the tank right now.
Time is looking like he's one of the bubble players on mind bubble to make the roster, but they do have him in as he is now active and he is practicing.
So hopefully we concede to Marius Thomas this.
We get a good look at him to play against the New York Giants in the last game of the preseason or so.
It's kind of a rescue for the Patriots to take DT on the rosters.
He's been plagued by injuries, or so he's up there in age as well.
Treated from the Denver Broncos over to the Houston Texans at the trade deadline last season and then in the offseason, became a free agent, and then the Patriots picked them up.
So we'll see what how we can fit and Bill Belichick system or so.
But as of right now, I do have demerits Thomas on the roster.
They brought him in for a reason and they made them active for a reason.
So I think that day Marius Thomas will be able to make the Ross there and, of course, the last wide receiver.
More of a special team are here.
I haven't making the rosters while core special teamer and the team captain as he is automatic lock here for the pictures.
So as we look towards the roster cuts they have predicted here for the wide receivers for the Patriots, they have.
Why receiver Cameron Meredith? He will open up the season on the publicist, but that won't count towards the 53 man roster, but I'm guessing that Cameron Meredith will probably get released from the roster.
One. He's healthy anyway and activated.
So I think that Cameron Meredith will probably get released from the Patriots roster.
As far as the wide receiver cuts, I have these players getting caught.
This one is right on the bubble for me.
Braxton Barrios, punt returner and kick returner.
You played that role in the 1st 2 preseason games.
Right now, I have Braxton Barrios getting caught from the roster because he did not play in Week three. Carolina.
Um, I think, though, that Braxton barriers because they do need punt return and kick returning depth.
I think that the Patriots will bring him back on the practice squad.
That's what they did last season with Riley.
McCarron except Riley in the Karen only played one game, unfortunately, muffed punt in the season opener last season for the Patriots against the Houston, Texas, but he was released when they did.
The 53 man roster cuts of Riley McCarron was last season.
The Patriots brought him back, and then they activated him.
Thio the actual 53 man roster from the practice squad like 23 days prior to the first game of the season opener against the Texans.
That's what I think that will happen with Barrios here.
I think that he'll be part off the practice squad at first for the Patriots.
As far as the other players, the Patriots have already cuts a couple players here from their wide receiver corps.
One of them was this week.
They caught the former Washington Redskin.
He had a stellar game last season, where 10 plus receptions and one of those games for the Redskins.
But he got cut from the roster here for the Patriots as Josh Gordon's emergence, being reinstated back from the NFL did not help out towards Maurice's Harris cause, and it didn't help out towards Dontrelle Inman, either.
Dontrelle Inman got released around like two weeks, or so is he is now playing for the Los Angeles Chargers.
He got signed by the Chargers right after he got released by the Patriots, but converted quarterback and why receiver? He got released, like a few weeks ago as well.
That's Danny, settling as he was called a few weeks ago.
The other players that have cut for why receivers I have cuts will be daemon, Patterson, Ryan Davis and Gunnar.
Now, Gunnar All access key is an interesting one, is he? He did the punt returns in the kick returns last week against Carolina and plead with a first team offense quite a bit, but the other ride receivers Maur sat out in that game, there was no joy and Adelman no tequila.
So it will be an interesting one here.
I think that Bill Belichick wants to work more with Gunnar.
Polish s key From what I'm hearing, Gunner Ola Cesky is a division to defensive back that played for Bemidji State for a D to school.
He's a defensive back now, converted over the wide receiver he was playing a role in the punting and special teams kick returned unit in the last game against Carolina, but I think that he'll get cut from the roster, but they I think that Bill Belichick really wants to work with him.
I think that the Patriots will bring back Gunner Polish s key on the practice squad.
So that's a look at the wide receivers here.
We're gonna take the look towards the predictions towards the murkiest category here that they really need help on ever since Gronk's retirement, that is being the tight end position.
So we're going to take a look here at the tight end roster for my 53 man roster.
So on the tight end for opening night starting, I have Matt Lacoste, the former Denver Broncos tight end Fort season in the NFL for Matt, because I haven't starting tight end.
But there's still a question mark there.
He went down with a sprained ankle in the season opener.
The hope is that Malik Austin get ready for Week one for the Patriots when they take on the Steelers.
But right now I have Matt Lacoste as the number one tight end going into opening night, and then I have.
A second season player for the Patriots spent all last season on the injured reserve.
He caught an absolute dart down the middle of a field from Tom Brady, which set up that touchdown run by James Devlin in the last game of the preseason.
Carolina I have.
Ryan is oh, the number two tight end behind Matt Lacoste on the opening day roster.
So I have another roster spot here.
They think that tight end will go for so the third spot I'm predicting will be a traded player that will be playing tight end so the Patriots will make a trade around roster cut day or so to make a trade for a tight end.
So I'm predicting this that the Patriots will make a trade for the tight end, which I brought up with Brian Hoyer in that scenario a little bit earlier when they went over the quarterbacks.
That's what I'm predicting to be Jack Doyle, possibly of the Indianapolis Colts.
In the mix there.
Ben Watson also is suspended the 1st 4 games for performance enhancing drugs, so that won't count against the 53 man roster, so Ben Watson will be on the Patriots of this season, but he will only be able to be activated in Week five when he does serve that four game suspension for the Patriots.
With PDS as far as the tight end cuts on the Patriots roster of these tight ends being cut from the roster, and this one was wrecked by Lance Kendricks.
He got suspended anyway for one game for violating the NFL substance abuse policy.
So I have Lance Kendricks being cut from the roster.
Also, Steven Anderson, the former Houston Texan I have cut from the roster, is tight ends.
Also, Eric saw Burt, the former Atlanta Falcon who I believe only caught like five passes while playing for Atlanta.
I have him cut from the roster to and also Andrew Beck.
I have cut from the roster for the Patriots, now moving on to the offensive line here for my opening day predictions for the 53 man roster.
We're gonna take a look at the offensive line right now for the Patriots, and this is now question marks.
As of yesterday's news coming in with David Andrews, that captain the only center had predicted for this team for the upcoming season may not play this season for the Patriots is It was found out last night that David Andrews had a blood clot in his lungs.
He may be out for this upcoming season.
For the Patriots, this is huge If they lose their captain key player Qi blocker up front, of course, the starting center for the New England Patriots.
If David Andrews isn't able to go, hopefully the Patriots will have more clarity on the situation in the upcoming days or so.
So right now I have David Andrews on the roster, but right behind them on the roster now is James Ferentz.
Before he did this roster yesterday, I had James Ferentz as cut from the roster, but because of the David Andrews situation with a blood clot in his lungs.
Now I have James parents Fort season player on the team now for the Patriots of James.
Parents will now be in line to service the back of center now for the team, since David Andrews may be out for the entire season, and that means that Ted Carrots will slide over to starting center so he'll move over from being an offense of guard over towards the starting center on opening day for the Patriots.
If David Andrews cannot go this season, so now for the team.
I do have James parents moving in there for the center.
And as far as cuts for the for the centers for the Patriots have Tyler Gotti and a rookie being cut from the roster, and we'll take a look at the Guards year So Ted Carris will most likely now be the starting center of David Andrews is not able to go this season for the Patriots as far as the other guards, all the three other guards on the roster predictions I have will be making in into the roster shack, Meese and Joe Tooni and Y'all TIF Row Halt, which is the fourth round draft pick from Arkansas.
He actually is from the country of Denmark.
I have all of them making the roster as guards for the Patriots.
Now move over to the category offensive tackle here for the New England Patriots.
For my roster, predict predictions.
We look towards Marcus Cannon as he is a lock for the roster.
I feel like Seimas Isaiah Win, Isaiah win The second round draft pick back in 2018 spent 2018 on the I R with a torn Achilles, but he's been looking really strong so far in the preseason for Isaiah when he's gonna be a big pass protector and protect their towards Tom Brady this season.
So it's great to finally have Isaiah win back, and hopefully he'll be able to play in an actual game this upcoming season.
As far as other players here for offense of tackle Yanni conduced I have will be starting enough pup list, so that won't count towards the 53 man roster.
The physically unable to perform list for Janni could Juice, and hopefully he'll be activated later in the season as faras the cuts here.
This guy is really on the borderline of my cuts right on the bubble.
Like basically the 1st 1 out.
That would be Dan Skipper, first year player from Arkansas.
I believe that he'll be cut from the roster, but he will make the practice squad a juicy promised there with Dan skipper in the future.
So I think that the Patriots will bring them back to the practice squad.
Other players they do have caught for the Patriots will be Cedric Lane.
Tyree St Louis in Martez Ivey.
That goes for the offensive tackle position.
So now we finish.
The offensive side of the ball will look towards the defense of side of the ball in my 53 man roster.
Predictions for opening night for the Patriots year.
We'll take a look at defensive end first.
An automatic lock here for the Patriots, spending his 11 season now in the NFL last season was with the Philadelphia Eagles.
He had nine sacks last season for the Eagles, and he'll be huge this season for the Patriots pass rush.
Oh, Michael Bennett on the roster, as well as Detroit's wise junior third year player as he was 1/4 round pick back in 2017.
Also John Simon going into his seventh season.
John Simon Really progressing here now in the Patriot system.
I believe that the Patriots system is really gonna help out John Simon here as he made an interception back in Week one of the preseason against the Detroit Lions.
And also don't forget about this player right here, one of my favorite players, so watch out for for this season.
Oh vich the third round draft pick from Michigan.
Incredible burst of speed that get around his offensive line protector and come up with sex like we've seen so far in the Priestesses.
The Chase One event is going to be huge on the roster this season for the Patriots.
So I have in the roster here for defensive end Michael Bennett, Dietrich Wise Jr.
John Simon and Chase win a bitch for the defense of end cuts here on the roster for the 53 man roster for the Patriots, I have predicting Derrick Rivers, intially Calhoun.
Both of those players got injured in Week two of the preseason against Tennessee, so I believe that both of those players Rivers and Calhoun will not make the roster.
Also, Chianti Davis has already been caught.
He he was caught earlier this week and also for Ross.
I have Trent Harris and Nick Thurman being cut from the Patriots 53 man roster.
No move on to defensive tackle here.
Lawrence Guys going into his ninth season, the NFL.
He's a lock for the roster.
Seamus Danny Shelton in this fifth season of the NFL for defensive tackle.
Also, these two players are on the bubble, but I have him in Adam Butler in this third season.
I am in on the roster for now on the bubble.
Also Byron Cowart, fifth round draft pick from Maryland from the 2019 draft.
I have him as a very last player here, so be on the 53 man roster.
So right now I have Byron cowards in on the roster for the Patriots as faras defensive tackle cuts here for the Patriots.
I have Mike Pennell Jr.
Who has already been cut from the roster, now a six season player in the NFL.
So Mike Penhall junior was caught a few days ago as he spent the last two seasons with the Jets.
Also two other players I have being cut from.
The 53 man Raw start, David Parry and poof Bamako, Mali, for defensive tackles.
Now we'll move on to the linebackers will look towards inside linebacker first that I have a boat to the inside.
Linebackers making the roster here for the 53 man roster will start out with Jo Gwan Bentley.
German Deli will meet the Ross, their fifth round draft pick back in 2018 spent 2018 on the injured reserve where the Torrent Bison.
But he is back and healthy.
Germont Bentley will play a huge role this upcoming season for the Patriots on inside linebacker.
Also landed Robert's going into its fourth season for the Patriots years.
Hell, be a big player as well for inside linebackers that both of those players you want Bentley and the Landed Roberts will be on the starting night roster.
Also on the roster here, outside linebacker will look to Dante Hightower is ah, lock for the roster, for the picture is going into his eight season was a Pro Bowler back in 2016.
Also on the roster will be Kyle via Noi, coming over from the Detroit Lions a few years ago.
Led the Patriots last season in total tackles when 92 total tackles.
Also Jamie Collins.
Welcome back Jamie Collins after spending the last three seasons where the Cleveland Browns before he played for the Patriots, and now he's back in New England there.
So I have Jamie Collins on the roster alongside with high tower and Vanoy and the bubble spot up for grabs on the roster, and I do have him in at the moment.
That would be Calvin Munson for outside linebacker.
I do have Calvin Munson end right now on the bubble, as the injury to Brandon King in the third week of the preseason was a big one for Cabin Munson here.
Not good for Brandon King.
Unfortunately, she is on season ending.
I are without suffering the tourney, quad injury and we three.
The preseason gets the Carolina Panthers, but as far as Calvin Munson looks like Calvin Mont Monsen, chances have grown higher.
Toby on the roster here to make the roster for the Patriots with that injury that Brandon King.
So Cabin Munson, going into his second season in the NFL, showed a lot of promise the past two preseason games.
Eight total tackles against the Tennessee Titans with lead, the team and tackles and Week two of the preseason.
And that week three against Carolina.
Calvin Munson had four total tackles and then we'll look towards the outside linebacker cuts here, so Brandon King is on.
The injured reserve is not being cut from the raw series on the injured reserve after suffering the Tauron quad injury last weekend as the Panthers and as far as the outside linebacker cuts, I have Christian, Christian, Sam and Torres Hall not making the roster for the Patriots.
And now we'll take a look here at the secondary for the New England Patriots for my roster predictions for opening night.
So I have Stefan Gilmore, the second the two time Pro Bowler without game sealing interception.
He is, of course, a roster lock here for the Patriots.
Same is Jason McCourty entering his 11 season in the NFL.
Jackson going into a second season.
He's a lock for me here to be on that 53 man roster and this player to Joanna Williams, progressing so far in the preseason for Deron Williams, second round draft pick rookie from Vanderbilt, showing a pretty good strong showing so far in the preseason keeps on progressing.
I'm liking what I'm seeing from Joe Juan Williams here and also and making a roster.
These two bubble players Jonathan Jones, going into his fourth season.
I have him making the rosters are right now and also Cheon Crossing, who is mainly a special team or second year player out of Western Carolina.
I have him making the roster as well here at the moment, ski on cross.
And he does struggle to cover receivers when he does play cornerback.
But he could be really useful in the special teams unit here, so I do have key and cross.
And here at the moment he is one of the last players I do have on the 53 man roster.
And as far as the other players here for cornerback cornerback too young D'Angelo Ross is on.
The injured reserve is he's a rookie from New Mexico.
He does have the chance, though.
Toe observe and learn while being a part of the injured reserve with that really competitive and talented secondary mostly veterans serving on the Patriotssecondary here.
So this is basically the best case for D'Angelo Ross, even though it's unfortunate that he's spending this season on I R.
Because D'Angelo Roz most likely would have been a bubble player going into the 53 man roster.
So he has a A seasonal learn here in New England, basically to observe the system and learn more about the Patriots and study under Stefan Gilmore and Jesus accordion.
Watch them play.
D'Angelo Ross will spend this season on the injured reserve as far as the cuts year for the cornerbacks.
For the Patriots, I have Duke Dawson not on the roster for the opening night.
I have him the second season player, second round draft pick in 2018.
I have him subject to a trade, possibly along with Brian Hoyer on predicting to go to Indianapolis for a tight end.
Also, as Faras cuts Year two cornerbacks, I have Ken Webster, the rookie from Ole Miss, seventh round draft pick.
I of them cut from the roster for the Patriots.
So now we're gonna take a look at the strong safety category here from the New England Patriots, and we'll take a look at the first player here.
Team captain Patrick Sean and what a week has been with Patrick Sean.
And that is for assurance.
We found out in the news on Friday that he was charged with cocaine possession in late June in New Hampshire, pleaded not guilty earlier this week to it.
He does have a court appearance during the Patriots bye week on November 8 for November, yet November each. For Patrick Chung.
His trial is scheduled to start during March of 2020.
But Patrick Chung, I believe, should be fined for this upcoming season for the New England Patriots.
He's not focused on its cocaine charges in its trial.
He's focused on playing right now is Patrick Chung is now back at practice after that broken arm injury, gruesome injury they suffered in the Super Bowl.
Now Patrick Jump started practicing this week.
Hell be on the roster for this upcoming season.
It might be different next season, depending on the trial or so, But right now I have Patrick Chung on the roster for this season.
As far as other strong safety on the bubble I have him is Nate Abner.
I do have neat Abner, though, on the roster here for opening day.
Basically, he's a core special teamer, and he's an Olympic rugby players.
Well, that he played in the Olympics.
Doing rugby is Nate Epner is on the bubble, but I believe that he'll be able to make the roster.
As far as that cuts the strong safety, have Obi Mela fondue on the bubble as well.
I have them cut, though from the roster, just barely not being able to make the raw.
So you spent 2017 with the Oakland Raiders and also Melich, Gant's a rookie from Marshall University.
I have them cut from the roster as well.
So now we look towards the full safety category here for the Patriots, for my predictions for the 53 man roster will take a look at the locks here.
Devin McCourty A lock to make the raw stories in its 10th season for the NFL.
I also have Geran, Geran Harmon, and there's a lock for the roster.
Seven seasons in the NFL.
Also, Terrence Brooks.
I have in the rosters.
While six season player spent the past two seasons with in New York Jets, Terrence Brooks, before he came over to New England, was thought to be more of a special teams type player.
But he has shown during these preseason games that he can cover, too as well, so Terrence Brooks might be able to spend some time at full safety this upcoming season.
As far as the full safety comes here for the Patriots, I have a J Howard being cut from the roster.
He's a first year player out of Appalachian State and now brings me towards my last category here as well go through the special teams unit.
I have Stephen Gostkowski that kick up for the Patriots, making a roster Onley Choice year for kicker in his 14th season in the NFL.
The second longest player on the Patriots right now behind Tom Brady.
He went 27 for 32 last season. That field goals.
He's already missed three kicks so far in a preseason, though hopefully it's nothing to worry about when the actual game start start.
But one of the things that's interesting that I've seen what Stephen Gostkowski during his time and career when New England is that whenever he kicks his first Fuel gods, usually some of the times in the majority of the times, the first field goal they kicks turns out to be a myth.
So he tends to miss that first field goal attempt quite frequently that I've seen him kick in.
That's what he did in Week three against Carolina in the preseason, missed his first field goal that he talking, and after that, Gostkowski seems the be pretty fine after kicking field goals after he does attempt his 1st 1 but it's just trying to get by the first attempt.
That that's the problem.
Forgot Scouse gear.
So, of course, if your New England Patriots fan like me, it's just man.
It gives us heart attacks every single time that Gostkowski mrs there, but he's on the roster for this upcoming season.
Maybe the Patriots will bring in somebody next season that challenge Goss Kowski for 2020 and 2021.
But this upcoming season, Gostkowski is on the roster as far as the punting battle that is over.
That was over two weeks ago, as Jake Bailey is now the punter for the Patriots as he was handed the Keys around two weeks ago after that preseason game against Tennessee, the rookie fifth round draft pick from Stanford.
Really versatile with a big hang time, big booming putts, punts there.
He could do kickoffs as well, so he can take that workload right off a Stephen Gostkowski for this upcoming season.
So Jake Bailey, very versatile player he's gonna be Oh, he's a righty, though, so they're moving on from Ryan Allen, who was a lefty punter.
The vet punters.
They now have Jake Bailey.
It's official has been official over.
Two weeks ago, the jig Billy kicks with his right foot.
He will be the punter this upcoming season for the Patriots and also Joe Carter Cardona long snapper.
He is, of course, a lock for the roster for the Patriots.
So that's basically it.
Here's Ryan Allen special teams player.
He was the only one that was already caught.
He was cut after Week two of the preseason gets the Tennessee Titans, which was a really, really big shock to me that Ryan Allen was cut that early.
I thought that they were to cut him after week for when they put against the Giants, but they cut him that early.
Hey, what's good? So we get a six d a Here.
Thanks so much for joining me right now a six d A as we just finished up, basically, the 53 man roster predictions here from the New England Patriots.
And this is right now, a rap to you, my video on sportscaster.
But if you haven't done so already, make sure to become a fan of mine on sportscaster.
Thanks so much everybody for joining, Joining me as well on Sportscaster.

So I went through tight end earlier.
But once again, I'm just gonna go through tight end once again.
If you guys have any questions or drank anything, feel free to just write in the shot.
If you guys were like, but I'll go through tight down here.
So I have mad because going into Opening day, the number one tight end on the roster to former Denver Broncos and Mala cost hopefully, is healthy and ready to go as he went down with a sprained ankle back in Week one of the preseason.
But right now, I have Malek Austin number one Ryan is.
So I have at the moment here number two for tight and second season tight and spent last season on the Patriots I R.
And the third tight end.
I believe here for the Patriots as it right now.
I think that Bill could possibly pull off a train in some capacity for the Patriots if they could trade Hoyer and Dawson over to the courts.
For one, they're tight ends.
Jack Doyle will be the most fitting I'd see there.
They could trade that off because the Colts do you need some quarterback help with a backup quarterback.
Now, I don't believe that Shad Kelly will be the answer for the quart of assets that number two q B backing Jacoby percent now since Andrew Luck retired.
So if they can pull that off for the Patriots, shred over Brian Hoyer.
He did not play in the last preseason game for Carolina, along with second year player Duke Dawson, who was drafted last year.
I think that they could make a trade for a tight end and then build them up over time.
Possibly Jack Doyle have on that list there.
He's suspended for the 1st 4 games for PDS, but he'll be back Week five for the Patriots.
He should be able to slide into the number one spot for the Patriots roster.
Ben Watson does come back for Week five for this season as far as the tight end cuts from the roster.
I have being caught.
He was suspended anyway for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
You got a one game suspension to open up this season, so that basically wrecked Lance Kendricks is chances to make. The roster.
Here is he's a veteran player as well.
It have them cuts and on the outside looking in.
Also, Steven Anderson, I haven't cut from the roster, is tight, and the former Houston Texan also Eric saw Burt, the former Atlanta Falcon I have cut from the roster.
He's only made five receptions for Atlanta so far in NFL, so I haven't cut from the roster for the Patriots.
Didn't see a whole lot of action in the last game in the preseason against Carolina and then Andrew Beck.
I have him cut as well for the Patriots. Tight and roster.
So right now, making the roster for opening day will be Mala cause, and Ryan is Oh, I have predicting.
And then Ben Watson will be joining the Patriots tight ends in Week five of the regular season.
But that is it here.
