Toronto's Pride and Joy Ray route has teamed up with Boston heartthrob Connor Carney to bring u Z PN commentary.
A SportsCastr featured podcast.
Join these two Bill Belichick band boys talking about the greatest team in NFL history every Tuesday and Thursday night Live on SportsCastr at 9 p.
Eastern and now for the thousands in attendance and Patriots fans from all over the world.
Ah, podcast that nobody asked for its DPM commentary with Ray and Connor, and we are back.
What's going on, man? What's happening? Mhm.
It's, uh, you know, it's a good day.
I think that I need to mention to start this show that today is Veterans Day in United States.
And it is Remembrance Day here in Canada in its this time of year that we need to acknowledge the people who are much better people than us. Connor.
Absolutely people who are they've risked their lives for us, they and lost their lives for us.
And it's not just World War One and World War two, because I think sometimes that's where Veterans Day goes.
I think we've got to think about the veterans who fought in Afghanistan and Iraq.
And, you know, I have a cousin who fought in in Afghanistan after the world trade towers and, you know, Canadian soldier.
And I think a lot of people don't realize that Canada and the US stood Yeah, shoulder to shoulder during that war.
And I would like to send out a big personal thank you just to everybody who sacrificed their lives.
Families who sacrificed their time with loved ones and just everybody who has served our country.
You know, Connor, you know I'm a memorabilia guy.
The best piece of memorabilia that I have is my grandfather's discharge papers from World War Two.
You still have them? My mother gave it to me.
I have them framed up there just absolutely amazing.
And, uh, yeah, absolutely phenomenal.
So, yeah, I just wanted to send out a big, big thank you to everybody. Absolutely.
Yeah, that's what I said Tobin earlier today.
I'm like, thank you to everyone who risked their lives so we could do these crazy shows.
Yeah, it's nuts, you know? And I'll tell you guys exactly what just happened.
My mouse just died as we were doing the intro there, and I was doing my thing and I could hear myself speaking because it's it plays on SportsCastr as the show is playing.
And I'm freaking out because I lock my pad on my laptop so I only have the mouse, so I couldn't even move to do anything.
And I'm trying to reach.
That's what I was doing.
I was reaching finding a mouse, making ah from my other laptop, and I'm sitting there freaking out about a mouse. You know, awful.
My life is and then here is these people who you know, the bravery they've showed Thio and for what they've done for for our country's makes that a little little things seem so small.
And now we have to transition into talking about football, you know, and it's it's it almost feels like it's unjustified that we gave them what, like three minutes of our attention, but just a big thank you to families and soldiers, young and old who have passed away, who died in battle, who died after battle, who who were wounded as everybody, um, and for everybody who came home safely.
Thank you for your service.
I I just have to transition.
Um, there's no there's no way to do it s o.
Uh, the patriots put Dalton keen on the I. R.
They did, um, and you know what? The Patriots made some corresponding moves.
They signed three tight ends in Jordan, Thomas Dillon Contrail and David Willis.
Um, I can't stress enough that Patriot fans shouldn't be excited by these moves.
Uh, just to build depth.
I was pretty excited.
I honestly think that these were the best three tight ends we have now.
Well, you could absolutely be right.
And you know what? That ever since Bill Belichick has taken over the Patriots, he's made it a priority to make sure that New England has good running backs in good tight ends.
For the most part, the running back situations been great over the years, But the last two seasons, the tight end situation has been absolutely dreadful into England.
This is a team that went from Ben Watson to Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.
They brought in Martellus Bennett first season.
They won a Super Bowl.
Even their secondary tight ends like the human, you know, minimum annuity, whatever phenomena knew it was actually pretty good.
Dwayne Allen was good at blocking really good blocker.
They always kind of had those guys.
And now deben asi asi and Dalton Keener on the I r.
Ryan is Oh, is there on Lee starting tight end? Out of all the draft Mrs that Bill Belichick has had is the tight end spot, the most disappointed in your eyes.
I mean, are we saying from this season or in general just the fact that basically since Gronk we haven't been able to find that next guy so far this season, I would say so, Definitely.
I mean, I had high expectations.
I have high expectations all the time.
I like to be overly optimistic, as we all know, but I mean, Dalton Keen and CIA's have obviously done next to nothing so far this season.
And now they're they're going on I r and are probably gonna have complete duds of rookie seasons.
I'm hoping that they're going to sal***e it and come out and play well next season.
Hopefully, like Damian Harris, But I don't know.
So far this season has just been too Yeah, Duds.
Um you know and I honestly, I'm going to say that my three biggest disappointments in the Belichick era is been nikkila Harry Deben Asi Asi and Dalton.
Keen so far? Yeah, so far.
They need tight ends, they dio.
Yeah, it's such a It's such like a just a missed position over the past couple of years.
And going into this season, they needed their tight ends to perform.
And you know, every moment that they've been on the field has just been disappointing.
When you think about Asi, Asi and and Dalton Keen, I mean, it was supposed to be like Gronkowski and Hernandez, not as talented but similar and skill sets right, and it just hasn't been there.
And don't forget, Cam Newton is the type of quarterback who likes to throw the football too tight ends, right? Yeah, Greg Olson for a long time, and he's just he doesn't want to.
He doesn't want to target them.
I mean, he's throwing the Ryan is a little bit, but he doesn't want to throw Asi.
Asi doesn't wanna throw the King, and that's concerning to me that a guy who likes to throw the ball too tight ends doesn't want to throw the ball to the tight ends.
Yep, doesn't even summarize how I feel about these tight ends, you know, And after how bad the tight ends were last season, I was excited about Devon Asi, Asi and Dalton Keen, and they just these seriously, let me down, man, Right? I I didn't think it could have gotten any worse than last season, but apparently, uh, we are missing.
That would cost a little bit.
Yeah, I don't think would be possible.
How pathetic is that? That's really bad because he is was like a third string tight end out there last season.
If you were Bill Belichick, would you be willing to give Asi Asi and keen another season to try and prove themselves? Or would you be looking at like free agency in the draft to try to try to improve the position? That's tough because Belichick's the only one that's really seen them in practice and actually kind of knows what he thinks that they'll be capable of because we haven't got to see very much of them.
So it's really hard to say, but he's already used the draft capital on it Um, I don't think it's It's a good idea to just write them off after one season, so hopefully we'll see at least one of them come out and make an impact next year.
The way I look at it is is whether or not you give up on them or give them another chance.
You can't look at them as a whole because they're very different players.
The way they play.
You know, Ozzy, Ozzy really did very well in the run game.
I don't remember any situation in the run game where he really got beat by by the defender.
Pass game was a different story.
He got blown up, is a blocker.
A couple of times he had zero involvement as a receiver.
What we don't know about Devon Asi Asi is is was he given enough or given any opportunities whatsoever? Like, did he have the opportunities to go out and run patterns and Cam Newton just didn't trust him? Or was he limited? We know his snap counts were somewhat limited and I could probably look I could look up.
You know what percentage he would He would play when he, when he was there so we'll look that up.
But that's one of things we got to think of.
Like we always talk about taking advantage of your opportunities.
And obviously he didn't.
But a part of me has to wonder.
Did he even have the opportunities to go out there because I look at like Ryan is? Oh, yeah, Brian is was on the field constantly and Cam Cam Newton has no issues.
Throwing the ball to Ryan is Oh, so obviously, he wants to get the tight ends involved.
So it's like he's played so little.
He doesn't even have a stat on player profiler.
Definitely si, which is yes.
But because we know that Asi Asi can run block, I'm willing to give him more time.
Maybe he turns into like a Dwayne Allen, who was instrumental into the Patriots Super Bowl 53 victory blocking for Sony.
I don't think people keeping it could take into consideration how well he played.
They were phenomenal at blocking that season.
They were, and I think that, you know, everybody wanted keen to go out there and be that or not keen.
Uh, Dwayne Allen wanted him to go out there and be that that receiving tight end, But that's not who he was.
He was one of the best blocking tight ends in the NFL, and he really came through.
So when I look at a guy like Dalton Keen, I haven't seen enough like he was a healthy scratch, like every game, but won.
Yep, they kept scratching on the up.
But a part of me wonders if he was actually injured through that time because, you know, he was on the injury report for a bit.
I know he had a bit of a head issue, so I wonder if he was actually just dealing with injury.
Obviously, it's not a great way for him to start his career.
I just what I don't know.
I don't think that any of us know is, Was it that Bill Belichick didn't like him? Or was he hurt? That's a good question.
I mean, we could see the same thing happened with with him.
As with Damian Harris, it was a little bit of both.
It seemed like Damian Harris was kind of banged up last season, but also Bill Belichick was holding him back for whatever reason.
I guess waiting for this year, and now he's kind of cutting him loose.
I think that we will get some more insight in the off season.
That seems to be when we get a little bit of the dirt on players when people start revealing.
You know, those anonymous sources start to give a little bit more information than we're getting right now, because right now it's almost impossible to get anything out of that Patriots locker room.
But if Belichick didn't believe in him and elected to go with Ryan ISO by himself, rather than use Dalton Keen, especially when Devon Asi Asi wasn't available, then that's obviously an issue.
But for me, if it was because of injury, that I want to give him one more season.
Now, look, even though I'm giving these guys another opportunity, I still want Bill Belichick to examine free agency.
Right, And there's some guys are that are out there right now that could really be impactful for the Patriots.
You look like Hunter Henry from the L. A. Chargers.
Now, last year, they used to franchise tag.
Will they use it again? Maybe Do they sign him to a big deal they got Justin Herbert. Now, maybe.
But if he is available in a zone unrestricted free agent, then I think that somebody that Bill Belichick needs to consider looking at Jared Jared Cook coming out of New Orleans is another guy.
We know that the Patriots were interested in him in 2019, but Gronkowski at that point hadn't made his decision whether he was going to retire yet.
And Jared Cook didn't wanna play second fiddle to Rob Gronkowski.
That's obviously not an issue. Now.
He's not gonna be playing second fiddle to anybody.
He would come in and be the number one tight end.
So because there was interest there before by both parties, I think Jared Cook wanted to be a part of the Patriots organization.
He just wanted, didn't want to do it with Gronkowski in the wing.
He could be a good option for the Patriots.
Do you agree? Disagree? Yeah, definitely.
I mean, I don't know what how old Jared Cook is.
I feel like he's been around for a while, but he's been pretty good in New Orleans.
He would be better than anyone we've seen in the past two seasons.
Hands down I think Hunter Henry is very good, but sometimes he struggles to stay healthy.
I mean, obviously, either of these guys would be hands down the best tight end over the past two years combined.
But I wouldn't be opposed to them trying to do something in free agency as far as a tight end goes.
But I'm really hoping that either Keane or ASI Asi ends up being legitimate and actually can contribute because I don't want to see them.
Ways to draft picks on these guys Now there's another guy that is available to, and that's gonna be Tyler Eifert from Jacksonville.
Hey was a former Cincinnati Bengal, and he was, Yeah, he was actually my He's another guy.
Injury problems, right? Injury problems, career.
He was my free agent target this offseason.
Now he's not having a great season, but he plays for Jacksonville, so I assume that he's going to not cost a boatload of money, and I think he could be a good pick, especially for bringing in a guy to compete with Ryan Izzo's the Eifert or of the Ryan Izzo's Theodosius is in the Dalton Kings of the world.
I mean, what Queen what would be the harm and bringing him in and giving him a shot and showing what he has? He has a lot of upside.
He just can't stay healthy.
But he had some really good seasons with the Bangles.
Okay, now I'm gonna throw it another name, and you might think I'm crazy.
He's gonna be 36 years old, so he's It's gonna be like bringing in Ben Watson, but he already has a great connection with Cam Cam Newton.
I wouldn't bring him in to be the number one spot as a tight end, but have him hang around is the third or fourth tight end like he can't be worse.
And Ryan is Oh, right, yeah, yeah.
I mean, that's the way we kind of have to look at it to.
A sad as it sounds is that I mean, whoever they bring in, are they really gonna be any worse than what they're dealing with right now? And I think that's the way you gotta look at it.
So anybody you're bringing in is either gonna be at par or, you know, level exactly with their tight ends.
Um like there's a lot of mortgage eyes that we can examine, and we'll focus on that kind of stuff in the off season.
I'm just saying that I'd give Asea C and Keen a second look, but I would also bring in a free agent, especially for depth.
I do not want to touch the draft.
I don't wanna bring another young guy if I'm gonna bring somebody and I have to bring in a veteran, agree or disagree? Yeah, somebody that's somewhat proven that we already know what we're getting because the draft is basically like a lottery.
You can see all the film and watch them in college until they're actually in the NFL.
You don't know what's gonna happen.
I'm going to switch gears a little bit here.
I want to switch the baseball if you're okay with that.
Because I read a really interesting article about Alex Cora, and he was basically asked why he didn't bring the Astros cheating scandal to Boston, and he basically said he didn't feel like the Red Sox needed it.
I'm gonna read you exactly what he said here, he said.
I don't feel like we needed to do something like that, Honestly, hey, said on Tuesday, when he was reintroduces the club's manager after serving a one year suspension.
I know people will not believe me in that sense.
Why not bring it here? If it was that effective? I don't know.
I just decided that that offseason not to bring it here.
I gotta ask you, what does number one? What does that say about the Houstons Astros world? Siri's? And do you think that core is gonna be able to turn the Sox around this year? One.
I think that's very funny for him to say that I don't know if that's true.
If he really thought the Red Sox were that good, that he didn't need the cheating scandal to continue or if he just didn't think it would work here or if he was nervous that he was the head coach now and didn't want to do that, I don't know.
I don't know what that what happened there, um, to I think he could definitely turn it around.
I don't know necessarily will be as much him.
I do think he'll be a good part of it.
because the players seemed toe love him.
I think he has a great chemistry with all the guys in the clubhouse, but Chris Sales coming back Eduardo Rodriguez is coming back.
You know, the people last year that slumped that I think will bounce back like JD Martinez.
Rafael Devers, I think, is going to take another step forward.
I think it's just gonna be a lot of the guys are back, and that's gonna help them tremendously.
And him being the coach isn't gonna hurt on all either.
I was reading article today that said that he has spoken to JD Martinez and he believes that he's ready to bounce back.
Yeah, yeah, but I saw JD Martinez.
His agent said He has no plans on leaving no point on often out.
You've got to be happy about that.
I have big faith in him.
A having a comeback season, Chris Sale as well.
Okay, so question for you what, in your opinion and I have my opinions on this, I'm sure everybody has opinions.
But in your opinion, what was the biggest efficiency on the Red Sox last year? And how can Alex Cora as the manager address that I think part of this is gonna have to be, uh I'm Bloom, and he's gonna need to go out and get some people in the bullpen.
I think what he did in 2019, that kind of screwed core over was they decided not to pay Craig Kimbrel, which was fine.
They decided they didn't want to pay him big bucks.
He hasn't done great and, uh, Chicago anyways, but they didn't go out and get a closer.
They were, like here.
Just go out there and win games and pitch whoever in the ninth inning.
He had no closer.
So that's one of the things is they need to develop a closer because they scored a ton of runs in 2019 and continuously lost.
So I think they need to worry about the bullpen, the starting, the starting rotation getting back and him, him just being himself and getting the overall vibe in the clubhouse back.
Okay, well, we'll have to see how things go on in this offseason.
Who they sign, how they do, how they compete next year. E.
I don't think things could get worse for the Red Sox.
No, they were horrendous last year, so it can only go up from here.
And since we're talking about horrendous, we got a horrendous Patriots season and horrendous Sox season.
We might as well take care of some business and stop talking about horrendous things.

Connor, this show is yours.
So, first question do a little something that in the NFL, little unpatriotic related here.
So I'm not sure if you saw the game on Sunday, but the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers almost lost to the I think it was Gilbert bled Dallas Cowboys.
Um, do you think steals the real deal? Where where do you kind of think they end up at the end of the season? Do they have a shot at going undefeated? What do you think that happens with them from here? So when I was preparing for this question, I actually came up with a way longer answer than I actually believed I was going to come up with.
Think about how many times we've seen the New England Patriots over the years squeak out of game, even against a bad team, right? Yes, they had a close game against Dallas, but they beat some good teams.
Pittsburgh is beat the Baltimore Ravens.
They beat the Tennessee Titans, so they're able toe win.
Good games Now, Big Ben.
He's on the covert list.
Will that affect them against Cincinnati? I don't think it will affect him because this team is built on defense, their seventh in total yards, their fifth and passing ninth and run in fourth and points.
You know, you gotta think about a car.
This is the team that went eight and eight with Mason Rudolph last year.
Yeah, that was just a tremendous coaching job to buy Tomlin.
So yeah, and he should have been coach of the year.
I thought so, too.
Hands down for them, going eight and eight because he was not that good of a quarterback at all.
So they should be able to survive the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend.
This Pittsburgh Steeler team reminds me a lot of the last year's Patriots team, where defense and turnovers is the key to their victories of every game.
Let me tell you about their offensive stats.
Their 27th in total yards per game, 27th worst in the NFL, 22nd in the past 19th in the run, fifth in points.
Okay, fifth in points turnovers puts their team in good positions.
I just started looking at some of their stats and some of the things they've done tonight.
Can I read you one of the craziest things I think I've ever read? Yes, Please go.
Dupri has six sacks in two forced fumbles.
Step into it has six sacks and a forced fumble.
5 *** linebacker Devin Busch has a sack and 14 tackles.
Linebacker Vince Williams has three sacks and 21 tackles.
Five players on the Pittsburgh Steelers have 22 a half sacks this season.
The New England Patriots have a combined 11.
Oh, man, the Steelers, depressing as a team, have 32 sacks.
Yes, they tripling it in 2019.
Did you know this that the Patriots led the NFL with 47 sacks for the entire season? Yeah, they were the best defense in almost every category last year, right? Pittsburgh is on pace to get 64 sacks this year.
Yeah, that's absurd.
Pittsburgh is on pace for 30 turnovers if 15 turnovers on the year.
Last year, New England led the league with 37.
Pittsburgh is on pace for 38 or story Pittsburgh and 38 so they've actually declined.
And how well they did last year.
Here's the issue with Pittsburgh, because this is how much they remind me of the New England Patriots.
If they run into a team where they can't turn the ball over and they get into a team that has ball security and doesn't allow the Pittsburgh Steelers to put up points.
You could see a playoff exit like we saw with the Patriots last year and, like a 17 to 14 game.
But yeah, I think they're the real deal, right? Right, That's that's just absolute dominance on the defense.
Obviously, I've seen the defense a little bit, and I've I've seen how good they are, but that just shows how ridiculously well they're playing.
But I also see the signs of Big Ben getting a little bit older, and he still looks pretty good.
But not as well as he's looked in the past.
So, like he said, that if they run into a team that can limit their offense and not turn the ball over, that could be.
That could be what dooms.
But I Doesn't it remind you of last year's Patriots team? Pretty much, Yeah, so yeah, so I mean, that's kind of where I sit with that whole thing.
It's This team could be good.
Are they over? Are they? You know, last year the Patriots were called the most overrated eight.
No team, right? I don't think I could say that about Pittsburgh.
No, no, I agree, because they've already played to very tough teams and the Titans and the Ravens, and they beat both of them.
I figured they'd win.
They'd go one and one out of that.
But for them to be both from it shows that they're the real deal.
So another big news story coming up here, this one for the New England Patriots.
I think Damian Harris was out there at practice today.
I don't know how much how involved he was, but Sony Michelle is also eligible to come back off the I R.
If Damian Harris's isn't able to go.
Is this Sony? Michelle's like one last chance to really win the drawback, or do you think he's already lost it? My answer changed this afternoon when I started doing the research, and I'll tell you why.
First of all, I gotta tell you, David Harris has taken the starting job.
That's not debatable anymore.
Is that debatable? I I think it's right now.
If he's healthy, it's his job.
You know that Damian Harris, his stock Linus similar to Sony Michelle's really.
Harris is averaging 3.
7 yards per carry.
Yeah, I think for a running back, you wanted to be around four yards in 2018.
Sony Michelle averaged 4.
5 yards last year.
7 yards per carry in the three games he played this season, Sony Michelle is averaging 6.
7 yards per carry.
It's pretty good what Damian Harris gives the Patriots.
That Sony Michelle doesn't is the explosive place.
We don't see Michelle get those big 30 35 25 21 yards.
And there seems to be one or two in every game that Damian Harris place where he just bangs out a huge trunks, Right? You don't see that out of the shell Often.
That doesn't mean that Sony Michelle isn't needed on this team, and I think for a second I want you to imagine that they're both at full health.
Imagine the platoon how much damage they could do together.
Right you got So you have David Harris, Sony Michelle, and you still have James White and Rex Burkhead as well.
Sony Michelle is no longer competing for the starting job, which should take some pressure off him.
But what he's gonna be trying to be showing to show that he should be a part of the platoon because we could see a situation where Michelle becomes the finesse back and use hairs.
Is the pure power back very similar to what they did with Aguilera? Blunt.
When it comes to running backs, I think that the bigger question is is, Do you resign James White, or do you resign? Rex Burkhead? That's a good question as well, because, in my opinion, Birkhead has been the offensive spark for the Patriots this season.
When they need a spark, you turn to Birkhead.
Yeah, and outside of that, I think he's outperformed James White all year, and I think James, why it's gonna have a much higher price tag.
So it might be similar to the shame Marine situation where it's just not even in the cards to resign him very much could be So I think that we're in a situation where Michelle and Harris are both back next season, so I don't think there's a debate.
I think they're gonna let them both play.
They're gonna platoon them, they're going to go the real debate is whiter.
Right? So, like, what do you think about that? That that because if I told you before the season started, there's a debate, would you thought there was a debate? Highly unlikely? No.
I would have thought that Sony Michelle would have the starting running back job, and then the third down back would clearly be James White and Rex Burkhead would mix in.
And maybe Damian Harris.
He was just a question mark to begin the season.
And now we're talking about J.
Damon Harris and Rex Burkhead being the two guys.
And we're not talking about those.
Possibly being the two guys next season is well, and James White not being resigned to the Patriots Very strong possibility.
I would kind of almost be a little bit more surprised if he is a patriot next year.
I think it's gonna be if he wants to.
If he wants to stay in New England, I think those gonna tell him he needs to take the hometown discount.
I don't think that's one of your hotter takes.
I think that's one of your more, you know, right on the head takes that you could put out there.
I think that James Whites job is in jeopardy.
See, you are a smart fella con you are.
But our next thing I want to hear that that I want to hear something like Damian Harris gonna put up 2000 yards a season or something.
Because we need a crazy take from you.
I have a hot take coming, and I have perfect.
It has to do with my question here.
So Sunday night versus the Ravens game plan.
What do you think? Do you think the Patriots were try and play defense slowdown Lamar Jackson and keep them on the sidelines? What do you think? They should try and have Cam Newton kind of go toe to toe with them and go, you know, score for score.
That's a really good question.
And honestly, I think it's gonna come down to the Patriots, won't have a choice but to go toe to toe with Lamar Jackson because I just cannot see this Patriots defense holding Baltimore back can e.
We're talking about the number one run offense in the NFL by a mile to the 25th worst run defense in the league, and I think what scares me the most.
Even if this was a season, the Patriots were, say, six and two, and competing is Baltimore actually showed that they have a passing game now.
It's ranked the 31st worse in the NFL.
But don't use it.
No in the courts of the third, best pausing passing offense in the NFL and Lamar moved the ball in the second half attack in the middle of the field.
The Onley chance that New England has this Sunday.
I'm gonna be honest with you.
Here's my heart.
Take three Onley.
Well, it's probably an even keel.
Take the Onley chance.
New England has a beating Baltimore this weekend is the offense match in Baltimore.
Point for point? I agree completely.
If somehow New England gets into a position where they're up by two scores, then you run the football down their throat.
The problem is, is Baltimore has the 10th best passing on defense in the eighth.
Best Russian defense do.
Going into this game.
New England is so severely behind the eight ball.
Honestly, I think the only chance the Patriots actually have is Baltimore implodes and beats themselves.
Yeah, I mean, unless the Patriots pull off some crazy turnovers or, you know, they blocked a punt, do some fake plays.
I think they're gonna need to do pull something out of their hat, do some trickery.
So Julian, Adam and style Hail Marys or something? Julian Edelman to throw the football anymore.
Maybe they'll have.
Brian is Oh, let him let him throw it past.
He's gonna get involved there somehow.
Right? I want to just, like, stop the show now.
But my heart take is that Cam new and is going to light them up.
And the Patriots, they're going to score 25 plus points.
I don't know if it's gonna be enough to win the game.
I think Lamar Jackson is gonna have a field day and the Patriots defense is not gonna really stop them.
What? Very much.
So in order for them to stay in the game, they're gonna have to continuously score.
But I think they're actually going to score some points.
So I obviously want to say that you're out of your freaking mind, right? But I could see it the way Jacoby Meyers played on Sunday, the way Cam Newton was moving the football.
And I'm not going against you anymore.
You become like the no Saddamists of past week.
Like the calls that you have made your like.
You've become Tony Romo.
I've been very hot and cold, extremely cold.
And now the past week, very hot.
So? So it keeps going.
So I think if you're a Patriots fan, unless you're still got some belief that there's a tank, there's no tank.
The tank is off.
You gotta hope they can.
The how does it feel that now every game is a must win? Uh, it's It's definitely gonna be nerve wracking.
I mean, because if they lose one so I think if they go 10 and six, they'll make the playoffs.
Do you? I think so.
Do you want to go through the records a little bit together here because I think the Browns are gonna fade a little bit? Who else is in there? Um, let's look into see.
You mean here's the issue.
Seven teams make the playoffs, right? Yeah.
You think buffalo makes it Buffalo? Yeah.
Think Pittsburgh makes it? It's very good.
You think Baltimore makes it? Yeah.
You think Tennessee makes it? Yeah.
You think the n d makes it? Yeah.
Do you think the Chiefs make it? Yes.
So you've now got the five and three Cleveland Browns, the five and three Raiders, the five and three Dolphins all sitting ahead of the Patriots.
I think these are all 10 and six teams. Roughly.
You know what I mean? I think the Dolphins have three more losses in them.
I think the Raiders, they always seem toe somewhat go like this.
It wouldn't surprise me if they ended up nine and 78 and eight.
I feel like you're gonna fade a little bit.
10, 10 and six is the number.
I've been I've my number all season has been 11 and five.
You really think that Cleveland's gonna fall off that much? Well, I mean, five and three the rest of the season.
I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the season there remain a remainder of the season.
That that was the record.
What do you think the Dolphins were gonna dio? Well, the Patriots would obviously have to beat the Dolphins, But then I think outside of that, without even looking at their schedule, they probably lose two more games.
You wanna look at their schedules, find the wins and losses, so we'd obviously have to assume the Patriots beat them, too.
Okay, we'll get there.
So they play the Chargers next game.
The Dolphin should wind Ukraine.
After that, they played Denver, Denver.
They should roll over.
Then they got the Jets.
The Jets are cakewalk.
Then they got Cincinnati.
Cincinnati is Prada is sure to be an easily beatable game.
Then they got Kansas City.
Unless Kansas City collapses, I can't see them losing to Kansas City.
Kansas City would have to beat themselves.
So there's loss.
Then they have the Patriots.
We have to have the Patriots have to beat them.
Then you have Vegas.
That could be the game that decides everything.
Well, then they finished the season against Buffalo.
Who? Who knows what Buffalo team is out there Because the Buffalo already clinched a spot and they're not gonna win.
They might just be putting all their 2nd 3rd stringers out there.
All right, It could be the Vegas game that really comes down to them both being right on the verge in Vegas.
and Miami both playing for big, big stakes.
Do you know how badly, though? I wish that was the Patriots schedule? Because I think the Patriots actually would have had some sort of opportunity toe.
So we look at the Patriot schedule? Yeah.
The Patriots schedule substantially harder.
So they have Baltimore very hard.
The great start? No.
We'll see what happens then.
Arizona's really good than the Chargers.
Will see, then the Rams Rams are a tough team.
The Dolphins, Dolphins, Dolphins.
They're tough this year.
Then the Bills bills another very tough game.
And then they finished with the Jets.
Well, at least they finished with the Jets and they could lose one more game.
Yeah, Yeah, it's Look, I we, we you and I both you and I both said it. It's improbable.
Start with a win this week.
Yeah, one week at a time.
And I said that to my buddy Joe last week.
I said, I'm not even looking ahead to Baltimore.
I'm just one game at a time.
Uh, this is such a different season.
I know. It really is.
We're not used to this? Yeah, a man.
Well, Connor, unless you got any final words, I think we say goodbye to the people.
I say Go Patriots.
See you tomorrow.
