I guess they don't want to see our faces.
I can't blame them.
I don't blame them either.
I mean, who they wanna look at these two mugs? I mean, you're the face of the show, obviously.
They say in the beginning, Boston's heartthrob, right? If you left, I don't know what I dio.
I gotta ask you, how do you feel now about, like, this new sort of like found fame? Because you're starting to, like, get the tweets that I used to get where you can't tweet anything without a lot of responses.
A lot of like you like it? I do.
But so far, I'm like, if this keeps going in this trajectory, I'm gonna miss a lot of time at work.
You are. It gets very time consuming.
And you ended up being invited into 400 different group chats.
And you you get a lot of questions.
But I'm the same man.
It's It's I'm I'm an attention *****.
You know what I mean? So the fact that people are paying that much attention to me is just like that's that's that's beautiful for me.
That's exactly what I want.
Dude, I love it.
I love interacting with everyone, man.
Yeah. No, absolutely.
I totally, totally agree.
Eso man, it's, uh we're here.
It's Tuesday night.
It's victory Tuesday.
It certainly is.
No still feel good about.
I was just over on Jets talk 24 7, and they're celebrating the Jets loss yesterday, celebrating the Jets loss.
I mean, that was a moral victory for them, right? They were right in it to the very end.
That was probably the best game of the season.
And just so you know, a lot of Jets fans are happy the way I was talking when I was like, You know, our kicker can't like our fifth round kick, kick kick.
He's on the practice squad.
We don't see our rookies or tight end started doing anything.
And the one guys like I'm just so happy he goes that you guys were finally experiencing what every other fan base goes through at some point in time, right? Every other fan base has experienced this over the past 20 years.
Except for the Patriots.
Yeah, it's crazy.
And then, um so Yeah, man.
I mean, so I had fun over there.
Check them out. Their jets talk 24 7.
His name is Ryan.
he's just there solid. Katz's not like heated debates.
When I go on with them, it's more just friendly conversation friendly banter.
I did pitched all the Jets fans.
Oh, hashtag extend Adam Jase s that can't go overwhelmed.
And they have to hate that guy, right? I don't know, but I just you know, I'm trying to get a trending.
I want people to.
I want them to extend Adam Gates.
I think that that's due to that's the best thing for us.
Lock him up for the next 10 years.
All right, dude, we're gonna get a little controversial tonight.
We're gonna open up the Belichick Brady debate.
Are you ready? I'm ready.
The can of worms being opened? Yeah.
There was no fight back from you when I sent you what I wanted to talk about earlier.
And you just said, Let's do it.
So I'm I'm excited, man.
So we should jump into it now, do you think? Yeah, buddy, I'm ready.
So, like, man, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that got blown out on Sunday night to the New Orleans Saints in time, Something is becoming seriously obvious to me, though.
In Tampa, Bruce Arians is trying to force his offensive system onto Tom Brady rather than adapting the Buccaneers offense.
What suits Tom Brady? What he does best.
Earlier this year, we heard Bill Belichick talking about Cam Newton, and he said that the Patriots will adapt the offensive system to Cam the way they adapted it to Brady.
Which to me pretty much confirmed that Brady was the offensive system in New England.
But doesn't that also make Bell Belichick a great coach like understanding and highlighting his players strengths like rather than trying to do like what Bruce Arians is right now trying to fit a square peg into a round hole? Yeah, imagine Cam Newton came in and they just ran the same exact offense that they ran with Tom Brady the past few years, or even the past two decades.
I mean, obviously, sort of.
Cam's biggest strong suits is running the football, which we've seen him score eight rushing touchdowns this season and one of the Patriots played eight games, nine games, 23 and eso he's averaging a touch down a game actually is averaging more because he was out for two games with Cove it right So they've They've obviously adapted.
They've said, Hey, cams really good at rushing the football.
Once we get down in the red zone, just let him take it in.
I mean, imagine he just tried to force it to the tight end like Tom Brady used to just throw the Gronk every play inside the five.
I mean, it would be drastically different.
Imagine all he's doing is throwing toc Yossi, and you know, the whole game.
You know, I agree with you, man.
Bruce Arians is making a big mistake.
Look, Tom Brady has run.
One of the most efficient offense is in NFL history.
If you're the coach, if you're Bruce Arians, why not adapt to him? You know, and look.
The Saints were all over Brady on Sunday night.
Pff said that he was under pressure for almost 50% of the game.
That's worse than it was in.
You know, all of those bad New England games last year.
That's how you beat Tom Brady, though they knew they knew what they needed to do.
You have to hit him.
Tampa Bay ran the ball five times yesterday.
Bruce Arians did nothing to protect Tom Brady at all did nothing to help his defense.
They were exhausted, you know.
Okay, look, Brady made some bad throws.
He needs to take responsibility, made some bad throws.
That one when he was going for Grant.
That one interception that was that was brutal. Coming.
He doesn't have the arm strength to throw across the field like that, You know, I'm going across his body, just doesn't have it.
But Arians, I think, needs to stop deflecting the blame to Brady like he has.
You know, the whole Mike Evans was wide open, and he needs to start looking himself.
He needs to start looking himself in the mirror, man.
You know Bill Belichick, Josh McDaniels, What do they do? They adapt game plans, right? That's what coaches Dio.
Yeah, Yeah, that Have the halftime adjustments, right? Bruce Arians just keeps trying to force the same thing over and over again.
And, you know, and what makes Belichick great and doesn't make Arians great is how he adapts.
And what makes Brady great is how he executes.
You know, the changes in the adjustments.
You know, Belichick makes the game plans.
Brady executes them.
Arians game plans suck.
Yes, He's basically just throwing the same exact playbook out there is last season and hoping it goes well.
They should have somebody in the slot who was like 45 50 catches deep already this season, Brady's lived and died with the slot receivers Wes Welker than Julian Edelman.
It should be there, Scotty Miller or maybe Chris Godwin, but instead it seems like they keep trying to throw the ball deep repeatedly.
And I don't know.
I guess Mike Evans is open like every play, but I don't know.
It's like they're just trying to do the same exact thing they did with James Winston.
Yeah, Bruce Arians just wants Chunk Place.
He just wants the ball to go down the field.
He wants 15, 20 yards per throw.
It's exactly what he wants.
It's It's what he wants to do.
Listen, I've been tough on Tom Brady this season, you know that. I know that.
I'll admit it, and I admit it.
It's because I'm bitter towards Tom Brady leaving the Patriots.
Okay, I'm not gonna lie about that, but I'm watching Brady play, and he's not making the throws that he likes to make right.
He's making like you kind of said it.
He's making Jameis Winston type of passes right, his pockets collapsing and everybody is 20 yards downfield.
Nobody is there for him to dump the football off to and as bad as Brady look, you can't put no matter how much you want to.
No matter how much of a Brady fan you are a Brady hater, you are.
You can't put all the blame on the Brady Arians has done is not done a good job using the greatest quarterback of all time, and I'm gonna ask you right now, does this now end the Brady versus Belichick argument? Tom Brady as a quarterback elevated Bill Belichick as a coach, right? It also gave Bill Belichick salary flexibility to be able to build the team.
But Bill Belichick understanding what type of player he hadn't Tom Brady.
What Brady needed around him, knowing what Brady strengths are, you know, making sure he highlighted those strength instead of trying to hide deficiencies.
Doesn't that mean that as a duo, they built the greatest NFL dynasty of all time? Yes, absolutely, Man, it was obviously both of them.
Everyone wants to play one or the other.
And here in New England, you know, it's always you gotta pick sides.
So you either have to pick Tom Brady.
You have to pick Bill Belichick.
You can't say it was a combination of both of them.
You know what I mean? Bill Belichick.
Obviously, like you, said Plato, All Tom Brady strengths.
And then Tom Brady went out there and executed.
It's a two way street here.
I mean, Bruce Arians, man.
I'm kind of realizing just we're watching it this year.
He's just some very mediocre coach.
I don't feel like he's.
He's bound to, like, continue to go seven and nine, which he's done repeatedly except for back with the Cardinals when they had Carson Palmer and, uh, Larry Fitzgerald.
He's the type of guy where I think if they don't have a ton of talent, he's not gonna win many games because I don't see him being even half the coaches Bill balance, I guess.
No, he isn't half right to me.
Brady and Belichick are equally responsible for the dynasty, and honestly that well, they're tied for second place because Robert Kraft is the most important.
He kept that duo together for so long.
For years we read about.
They both have egos.
We read about it.
That's why the relationship was falling apart.
It is what it is on that sense on that part, right? But he kept it together for so long.
And the two of them made each other better.
And and this season is the example, and it's don't look at the win loss record.
It's look at the performances.
Okay, look at the games that the Patriots here in Seattle, Denver, Buffalo, Kansas City was different, right? Because he was just a Yeah, San Francisco is the Onley blowout game of this season.
Yeah, that's the only game that it was just like it didn't matter.
They just got their You know what handed to him.
In the roughest of times, Belichick has given his team a chance.
And you know what? I got to say it, and I don't like saying it, but Cam Newton didn't get it done in a few of those games, right? Yeah.
Yeah, The Denver game, I'd say.
And then 40 Niners that just the entire team was just awful.
Obviously him included, but everyone Yeah, and he didn't And You know what? He didn't score the touchdown in Seattle.
And you expect Tom Brady to make that touchdown, right? We we we got our Tom.
We got our Tom Brady moment yesterday.
We're starting to see better performances out of camp.
I think things are probably just gonna keep growing and getting better and better the way Tom Brady is playing this year.
Maybe, and I'll say it.
Maybe we're still fighting for a playoff spot right now.
We don't know, right? Maybe bring.
You can't believe this offense, but maybe we are.
The team just isn't good enough, either.
I mean, maybe they probably would have squeaked out that Denver game.
I don't know, maybe Seattle.
I still don't think they would have.
Maybe the Bills.
So it still be like whatever.
Four and four, maybe.
And when you look at the two when you look at the situation this year, it's like Tom Brady can close.
Cam Newton hasn't I'm not going to say can't close, but he hasn't.
But the constant in that mix is Bill Belichick and the Patriots were better with Belichick and Brady together.
You know what I mean? They were both better together, and I'm gonna go.
I'm gonna you want a hot take? I want a hot take.
I'm I love hot takes This is probably the hottest take I can come up with if Bill Belichick is coaching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this year.
Yeah, they're undefeated right now.
Okay, Yeah, I would argue with that with that defense with that offense with that quarterback their undefeated season.
Tampa Bay With that type of talent, man, I agree he would find ways to draw up such a better game plan and make halftime adjustments.
I mean, the Saints, it's tough because they just beat them so bad this time.
But they don't lose that game to Chicago.
I don't think they they have to have beaten at least one of being the same one time.
And that's the thing with Bill Belichick because he almost never loses to the same team twice in one season.
So even if they lose, then he has the blueprint for him next time, and he's able to make adjustments, and I'm pretty sure him and Brady have beat the Saints every time they've played right? Um, no, there's one I can remember from just one.
Bill Belichick. A football life.
Remember that? I just remember a moment they got smoked by the Saints and that.
Okay, so maybe it's one game, whatever, but no. I gave point, though.
He would have lost twice if they're in the same position.
And that was that was, like, 2009 or 2010 when they followed him.
It was a decade ago.
Yeah, I think that's the year that Tom Brady came back.
Yes, yes, it was, because that was That was the whole Halloween party and everything.
I remember him saying the brain.
Remember? I remember that moment of him apologizing to Brady on the sideline.
I think it was in a playoff game that he just couldn't get the guys to do what he wanted.
Yeah, all right, dude, look, the Buccaneers.
They're six and three now, but they've looked really inconsistent this season.
The offenses look great. It's looked awful.
The defense is a great and it's looked awful.
They blew out Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
They looked dominant against the Las Vegas Raiders, but you know, they've now lost the same twice.
Once 34 to 23 38 to 3.
Uh, they lost 22 19 to the Chicago Bears.
They beat the Giants, but 25 to 3.
But they could have lost the game.
You know, prior to the season, the Buccaneers were the absolute top favorites in the NFC, in your opinion, are they still? And should they still be the favorites of that of that conference? No, No, Definitely not all that Conference.
I think the Saints are probably going to take it.
I think it's gonna be relatively close, but I think if we're talking, the NFC is a whole.
I think it has to be the Seattle Seahawks or the Green Bay Packers, despite obviously, the Buccaneers blowing the Packers out.
But I think Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson they're just on a different level of this season.
Yeah, and you know, to be honest, they should still be the NFC favorite.
So, um, and I honestly think that that Bruce Arians could blow it and and the only way that they could really save it is he needs to start adapting to Tom Brady.
You know, Bell, Bill Belichick has that famous line right.
Players win games, coaches lose them.
Um, Belichick doesn't lose games.
Okay, I know that people, people are people are gonna wanna throw Super Bowl 52 at me.
Bill Belichick made a critical mistake, didn't play Malcolm Butler. Fine.
Right? In 2000 and 18, Bill Belichick had the greatest quarterback to ever play.
The game in the New England Patriots became a run heavy team.
And he did that because that's what was best for the Patriots that year, right? I'm sure that their plan going into that season was Let's have Tom Brady have an M v p like, you know, an M V p.
Like season like he did in 2017 and throw the ball all over people.
But that's just not the way it went.
They became a run heavy team.
Bruce Arians is doing nothing.
He keeps forcing the same game plan over and over, and if it works, it works.
And if it doesn't, he throws Tom Brady under the bus.
And I was watching a skipping and Shannon today, and Shannon was seen that by Bruce Arians saying that about Brady about Mike Evans.
You know, being wide open all game.
That's going to cause tension between Mike Evans and Brady.
Because Mike Evans gonna go, Yeah, I was wide open the whole game.
You know, he's saying, Like what? He doesn't trust me, right? He's not gonna pay attention to me about being targeted.
Yeah, you know, he's looking at guys like, uh Adams in Green Bay, who's, you know, looking just phenomenal.
Yeah, he's the best wide receiver in the league right now, I think.
Look, in my opinion, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
They're good enough to be favorites.
They're talented enough to be favorites.
Brady's playing well enough to be the favorites.
Uh, dude, I mean, if I was, if I was a Tampa Bay fan, I'd be looking at Bruce Arians saying, It's up to you, right? And he does the exact opposite of Bill Belichick.
It's so funny to see these two coaches be the polar opposite.
Bill Belichick would never say anything like that.
He put the blame on himself, and then he talked to Brady, you know, in film, and if he was open, he let him know there it's the exact opposite.
I don't even know if Bruce Arians talking to him in the film, but he's just coming out to the media and saying he missed them a million times.
Like he has an all three losses.
He's blamed Brady for all three of them.
Yeah, no, I agree. Alright.

I lead the first part of the show.
We now had halftime.
We do the big switch, Rue.
For those of you on SportsCastr, you'll see that we change positions because on the podcast, I go from the left side to the right side corner switches over to, and we are now gonna put the show in Connor's hands.
So go ahead, buddy.
What do you want to talk about? First question, man.
So Big Win last night, obviously a big fourth quarter comeback by Cam Newton.
And the Patriots and Nick folk shout out to Nick folk.
Never in dealt with that 51 yard field goal.
So you do you think this is the big confidence booster they need to actually go into? Uh, actually, Baltimore's coming here, but to go into the game first the Ravens and actually be competitive and give him a run for that money on Sunday.
I think confidence is a good word.
I'm you know, when is always gonna build confidence.
Cam Newton was talking about it today.
That it was a confidence builder for the team.
Um, is it enough confidence to beat the Baltimore Ravens? Probably not.
Look, I'll tell you what.
I'm always gonna have faith.
But let me tell you what scares me about Baltimore when you watch that second half versus calls yesterday, we saw Lamar Jackson get it together, and we see exactly what he could do.
Because the Colts are good in the first half.
It looks like it could be their game on.
And then And then the Ravens look better going on.
And they got together.
And what Lamar did was he worked the middle of the field, and he, you know, he was precise passing into tight ends and running backs.
Exactly what we thought Cam Newton was gonna be doing this because we thought we were gonna have, you know, tight ends to throw to, um But my biggest concern is is Baltimore can run, right? So even if New England is able to stop Lamar Jackson in the passing game, our defense has not showed the ability to stop the run at all this year? Um, yeah, that's a concern.
One of the knocks on Baltimore was is was, you know, they had, you know, every time they've been tested, they lost, lost.
The Pittsburgh lost to Kansas City, the Indianapolis Colts and underrated team.
They were tested against them and they did a good job and they got the job done.
Eso look, Yeah, I think New England's confident, great, uh, talent wise.
I think the Patriots are completely out matched to Baltimore.
And I don't know, Um, you know, sometimes it's confidence, you know, the other teams just better.
Yeah, sometimes confidence only takes you so far.
I think it is definitely a good building block.
But my main concern is the fact that the Patriots biggest weakness is that they can't stop anyone up the middle.
And that's Lamar Jackson.
Specialty is just running it right up the gut on them.
And I think it's just gonna it's gonna destroy the Patriots.
It's gonna absolutely destroy the Patriots, right? Yeah, I'm not as concerned.
I feel like the secondary might be able to handle the receivers, but that might come.
So Lamar Jackson he might just run wild and Hopefully Stefan Gilmore will be back, because that will be.
I think he should be.
I think he should be.
You think like Bill Belichick was just kind of give him a rest the other night? No.
I think if he could have played, he would've played e think Belichick wants to win? You mean you could see that he wants to win eso? No, I think if he was ready, he would've played his best players.
Yeah, that makes sense.
Speaking of their best players, we have a new best wide receiver.
Talk about Nick. Nick.
Focus, Uelmen Nick, Nick Folk hasn't misted weeks now.
The guy that we harped on to start the season is like the new hero.
How? How things have turned.
But I think the buyers, man.
What? What a game.
Last night he lit up the Jets defense.
Do you think it was more him bullying? Ah, week Jets defense? Or do you think this is more of what we should expect to see out of him the rest of the season? I have been touched, So I I knew this question was coming Obviously we do talk guys car, and I do talk before.
So I would like to point out that Kobe Myers is only 24.
I did not know he was that young.
Yeah, he's just Yesterday was his birthday.
Was it? Yeah, it was his birthday yesterday.
What a birthday by him.
So, like, I've been telling you all season all season that they need to get Jacoby Meyers more involved in the game.
Um, and look, he was impressive last night.
12 catches out of 14, 12 to 1469 yards.
Um, like he's not going to repeat that kind of performance going forward.
That zehr huge nights, but to last week, he goes catches six or 10 for 58 yards.
Week, seven catches, four or six for 60 yards.
Um, to me, it's really disappointing that it took until Julian Edelman and to kill Harry got injured for him to finally get his shot with his offense.
Um, if you go all the way back to last season, every opportunity that he was given, he took advantage of.
And that was in the season that Tom Brady didn't wanna work with the rookies, right? We know that Myers got targeted.
He made catches.
I want to read his 2019 starts to you see prepared because we prepared for the show.
He went 26 for 41 359 yards.
8 yards per catch.
4% of his catches.
Okay, in 2020 he's already in the 70% for catch rating.
He's on pace for this season, eliminating yesterday's games because yesterday's game was so explosive, explosive, explosive it can skew the numbers.
Right? Excuse the numbers.
So excluding yesterday's game, he's on pace this season.
Toe have 70 catches for 531 yards.
Okay, if you include yesterday's game, he's on pace for 700 yards, and that's in 10 games.
That's not a 16 game season that's 10 games played.
Okay, if he would have started all 16 games excluding yesterday's game.
Of course, I don't wanna skew the numbers.
People will say, Well, had a big game, Of course.
No, No. Okay. We'll get rid of that game.
You have been on pace for 80 catches for 944 yards.
Okay, if you include yesterday's game because he's gonna have a big game at one point this season.
112 catches for 1529 yards.
That's why I didn't include yesterday's game because I knew it was going to skew the numbers out of out of all over the place.
So So look, looking at those numbers.
He is the Patriots.
True number two receiver.
Okay, He can fill the number one spot when somebody is injured.
He is outperforming Akil Harry this year.
Hey, deserves to be in that spot.
And if he loses snaps and targets when Nikkila Harry gets back, I'm gonna be honest with you.
Connor, I'm gonna be ****ed.
Yeah, I agree completely.
What do you see happening when Julian Edelman, If he comes back, which it seems like they're saying it's not a season at big injury.
Who are they gonna play in the keel? Harriet Jacoby minus.
Let's pretend that they have.
We're back to Week one.
And all the receivers air healthy.
E would love to see Edelman one Jacoby Meyers, too.
Tamir Bird three.
Nick Eel Harry four possibly Isaiah Ford.
Four Nikkila, Harry. Five.
You at the bottom of the You know what, man? How many more times do we defend the guy? At some point you have to perform at some point you need to.
I mean, I think that this season, in the three games that Jacoby Meyers has played, he has already gone over what Nikkila Harry has done in his career.
And that's with that.
And that's what Cam Newton force feeding balls to Nikkila Harry every time that he plays, right? I'm sorry.
We have to be honest.
I know I look I pumped tequila here.
He's tires more than you.
And I came here and defended defended the hell of a Cam Newton or Nikkila Harry, the same way we defended Sony, Michelle.
And at some point, we have to turn around and say, We can't defend you anymore.
You haven't taken the step, right? And it was like Cam Newton said it.
At some point, you have, like, saying all the right things is great, but you have to actually go out there and execute Well, yeah, And you know what? And that was Kanun, right? It was We were waiting for what I call that Tom Brady moment, right? You know, drive the ball down the field and score.
You failed in Seattle.
You failed in Denver.
You failed in Buffalo.
That's the difference between that game being a two and five game against the Jets, two of five and two against the Jets.
I mean, the Patriots could very well be six and two, but you didn't get the job done well, Beller.
Cam Newton's had all the right things.
He finally put his money where his mouth is.
We have not seen that at a Nikkila Harry in the season and a half that he's played for the Patriots, right? What? At what point do you think that they might just part ways with him? I think that Belichick is gonna It's This is like Cyrus Jones all over again when he took him in the second round, where Belichick was just like trying so hard.
And I think he likes Nikkila. Harry.
I think he liked Cyrus Jones.
I don't think it's like this isn't an ego thing.
People say, Oh, well, Belichick feels like he took No, he got rid of Duke Dawson who he took in the second round.
Belichick has no problems getting rid of guys who don't work.
He took Damian Harris even though you had Sony.
Michelle, Hey is no problem replacing guys, no matter where he takes them.
I think the issue is is he liked Cyrus Jones and he wanted.
He felt like he could get more out of them.
And I think he feels like he could get more out of Nikkila Harry.
And he seems to like Harry.
Um, he likes that.
But I think that he looked at him.
Is that the jump ball guy, the strong guy be the strong receiver, you know? And he just hasn't performed to that level that Belichick needs in the Keogh.
Harry, Honestly, he's been injured a lot.
He missed half of the his working season last year.
Obviously, this year, I think he must support the past two games with that concussion.
So now he's already missed what, 10 games in a year and a half going in. So it's tough.
We haven't had a full, you know, stretch of games to really see what he's made of, because even when they did bring him back last season.
They slowly brought him along.
He didn't just jump right in and start playing like Week nine a week 10.
Whatever it was that he came back, they put him out there for a handful of snaps.
So I mean, I guess probably just wait at this point and see if he does get any better.
But obviously, at some point, he might just not be able to play if he doesn't step it up.
The I mean, you said a perfect I can't even add to that e mean like, I could I could just see this exact same thing you just said.
But you summed it up perfectly.
Yeah, s so I think the tank is officially off.
Although I still see people on Twitter that are saying we should have deliberately lost the game last night and the tank should continue.
But I think at this point, now that the Patriots have won three games, it's there almost virtually eliminated from the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes because I personally don't think the Jets are going to get to three games.
What do you think is faras that goes and whats your over under for the Jets this season.
I'll start with that one.
I mean, the over under for the Jets is probably, too, You know eso to.
And I think the right on the brink.
I think they win one game, at least, but I don't know if they win two.
And look, the Jets still wanna win games, right? And it's the same thing.
I was talking about the Patriots.
We saw it last night, right? They almost pulled it off.
Players and coaches don't want to lose.
You play the game toe win, you know, like it's That's why you do it.
Um, Jacksonville only has one win, so they're still in the running and seriously going.
Oh, in 16 is Justus Hard is going 16.
And oh, now I know there's been more.
Oh, and a lot more Owen 16 teams and has been 16 and oh, teams.
But just even Cincinnati won a game last year, right? And if the Jets win a game because of strength of schedule, that actually bumps Jacksonville into the number one overall pick.
Um, and again, if we keep seeing what we saw that Joe Flacco on that thing, players won't stop.
Competing coaches won't stop competing.
What I can tell you is if New England loses their last eight games, um, there, there next day, games or whatever they have left or seven games.
Um, there still out of the running of trying because three wins is too much for the Patriots to get Trevor Lawrence.
In fact, right now, the Patriots in position three wins 13th overall pick.
Right now, that's the position they're in.
So I wanna flip a question on to you if I can.
And I know I'm e no, I'm going into your time.
But let me ask you this.
If this season suddenly ended today, how happy would you be the 13th overall pick? If this lost season actually ends up blowing up in the Patriots face the 13th overall pick would be pretty nice.
I would take it.
I'd like to be, uh, interested to see what they'd be able to get.
I want to see what happens with, like, Jacksonville to if they have the first round pick.
Are they gonna want to take a quarterback? Because now I know Gardner meant you might not be the guy, but that that kid loved and looked pretty good on Sunday.
I don't know if he's gonna be the guy that they decided to go with going forward.
So it's gonna be funny to see if thes teams that get the very early picks want a quarterback besides the team with aging quarterbacks.
Or besides the teams.
I mean, with really young like Houston, Houston, the Houston is not gonna take a court.
Baltimore, Cincinnati I bet you of Cleveland got the first overall pick.
They take Trevor Lawrence and trade away Baker. Mayfield.
You think so? Yeah.
I don't get that idea.
I think there's more teams in the league that would give up on their current quarterback and take Trevor Lawrence.
I think a lot of teams should give up on their quarterback as well.
Yeah, And when you look at the teams that are in the top three picks, let me just look it up.
Here is we're talking here.
But when we look at those top three teams, I mean, I I dare you to tell me, um I dare you to tell me why.
Draft pick order 2021.
Who has a quarterback that you wouldn't want to give up on and and that's why I just can't see the Patriots doing okay, So, Okay, here's an interesting one.
The Dallas Cowboys are currently have the third overall pick.
Yeah, they got to keep Dak.
I wouldn't give up on deck despite his leg going in the wrong direction.
I think he's gonna bombs back.
I think he's gonna make a full recovery.
I think that's really good.
So the Jets had the first overall at the moment within a 19 record.
Got a part Ways with Sam. Donald.
Jacksonville is one in seven.
They've got the second overall pick.
We'll see over the next seven or eight games the rest of the season.
What happens with this new kid? Dallas.
Alice got the third? Yep.
I see them keeping Dak.
No matter what the Giants do, You move on from Daniel Jones.
I don't think you do.
That's Yeah. That's a tough question.
The Washington Yeah.
They would need a quarterback.
They would want chargers.
Would the Chargers have the sixth overall pick? They wouldn't move on e stay with Herbert.
This one ****es me off.
So, technically, Houston right now is in line for the seventh round pick.
But that's Miami's pick.
Okay, up and Miami in Houston.
If either one of them was picking in either one of them are taking a quarterback.
And Miami is just making their team better that Miami is gonna be a good team in the future.
Niamey is the team to watch out for the next 5 to 10 years, I think.
Yep, 100% agree.
Yeah, they're gonna be very tough in the division.
Cincinnati has the eighth overall.
They're not gonna move on from Borough.
Burrows is gonna be a stud.
Ninth overall is Carolina.
I could see them taking a quarterback and playing him behind Teddy Bridgewater because Bridgwater might only be here for another year.
And so 10th overall is Atlanta.
I see them taking a quarterback.
Matt Ryan is getting older, but now we're starting to the teams.
I don't have a chance because, like Carolina like, I mean, it really starts at Cincinnati.
Cincinnati is two losses and one tie.
Carolina three wins.
Atlanta three wins.
Detroit three wins.
Minnesota three wins.
New England in Denver, all three wins, and I just can't see the Jets or Jacksonville pulling off three wins this season to try to move anybody that's go see, the Patriots have strength of schedule.
So if they were to lose out and the Jets were somehow to win three games, that would actually put the Patriots ahead of the Jets.
Considering the Patriots lost out, they would lose a game to the Jets.
Yeah, they would you.
So it's Ah, but I mean, so that's That's where we're at right now, right? I mean, it's the Patriots got the 13th overall pick.
At this moment, it could go down.
Um, I think that what disappoints me, though, is you've got three wins.
You're not even in the top 10, right? Right.
But I think at least out of that we can see that there is a decent amount of teams that are gonna be picking early.
That probably won't take a quarterback.
So if they do decide that they wanna move on from Cam new and or if they want to draft somebody, then theocracy in will be there.
Any final words before we say good night or good bye to the people who are maybe listening in the morning.
The Patriots are not tanking.
Patriots in the tank is off seeing the playoffs.
And I already said I said yesterday Yesterday will be the start of the day that we stop quoting 28 to 3 and start quoting two and five.
Ladies and gentlemen.
