Football picks on, um, and feel free to chime in at any point during this, we'll answer your questions and let's get this going.
So let's see injuries.
We did dodge some this week, so let's kick it off with injuries or quick.
Uh, this is gonna be the quickest injuries section. They're done.
Was was a really light weak when it comes to injury.
You know, we had David Montgomery and David Johnson both suffered concussions, and, uh, their their respective games.
They're gonna be in concussion protocol this week.
Like I said, we won't know till Wednesday.
Uh, chance those guys play their questionable.
That at best, uh, Duke Johnson gonna be available.
If you need a running back for a week there in Houston, I don't recommend, you know, running then grabbing any.
Any struggle bears running backs.
I mean, they can't run the ball there, but the biggest one is Chris McCaffrey.
He did stick in the health of the rest of the game.
AP came back in a bumped, got his shoulder pretty, pretty bumpy.
They're not really sure.
It sounds like he's gonna practice that week.
He's gonna be a game time decision.
Was trying to say his, uh his status is in doubt.
And it's only Tuesday.
So that's something you're gonna wanna keep an eye on Hope you didn't drop Mak Mike Davis if you had him.
Uh, he's out there.
You should be number one on your waiver wire. Again.
I don't think many many managers were dropping Mike Davis just because we didn't know what McCaffrey was gonna look like this weekend.
So McCaffrey's out.
Mike Davis is in your lineup.
Looks like Mike Davis could actually be viable as a flex to kind of sort of that.
Alvin Kamara and the Alvin Kamara Latavius Murray down in New Orleans.
But again, Yeah, that's our That's our injuries this week.
Keeping out McCaffrey keeping out on Korean David Johnson.
We'll see how the week progresses.
So we have four weeks to go until the fancy before playoffs.
So most leagues, they're pretty much Selden are now.
So tonight we're gonna do a deep dive into some strategy and help you get there or make you more competitive once Week 14 kicks off.
So I've asked able to pull out this crystal ball to help everyone out.
So if I could share your record rise, including your place within the playoff race, Well, right now I know I'm at five and three.
Six and 31 of my leagues and four and five, I think in one of my leagues.
So I'm, like, in the middle right now in my pack, so I should be able to speak good right now.
Ah, lot of week to a lot.
A lot of time to go.
You still got four weeks.
We have big week this week with five weeks.
So you get lucky you're playing against you know, the guys you know, somebody with Patrick Mahomes.
Uh, you know, Travis Kelsey, you're gonna be in pretty good shape, but but yeah, this is my favorite time of you guys.
This is where we we really start to dive in on, really start to drive.
I've been on how we can go about not only just get to the playoffs, but winning your league.
There's gonna be two ways that you can go about it.
You know, some people that are sitting out there.
Hey, you know what I know for effect? I'm gonna be in the playoffs.
How Doe? I start prepping my team thio to win a championship.
And then there's those you know, the other leagues, they're like, man, I I just want to get to the playoffs for myself.
A chance Because just like the NFL playoffs, once you get there, you never know what's gonna happen.
You might have a team that was garbage through the year.
You get one guy puts up with 35 point week, it changes everything.
So you just got to get there.
Try to get to the money on Dhere is how we all this stuff that I I It's always so I look at it, so I think you guys started. Look at it.
Um, you know, I'm gonna start with people that I think are pretty much looking thio win their leagues on.
Then we'll dive in tow.
Are probably going to need to either went out, you know, Are three of the next four together.
Uh, these tips are gonna help you guys, so you know, it's it's gonna be about about about surviving first off before you dive into any of that, it's really important to know your fantasy rules.
This is something that you know, You look at the beginning of the year.
People don't start talking about until right now.
It's when you know Hey, what do I need to do to make playoffs? Uh, you're gonna wanna know.
Hey, you know, I have a league gets division so that the person that wins the division goes the playoffs.
And then there's three wild cards.
I've been in leagues Where the top, You know, the top six teams go.
I've been lied to the top eight teams go.
I've also been in the top four teams.
So you're gonna wanna learn those rules? No.
Where you sit? No.
You know what? You need to dio toe win.
Uh, when you toe win out, you know, win 123 games to get to the playoffs.
So if you know, your ableto strategize better and a lot of it makes sense here a little bit, uh, you're gonna wanna know tiebreakers.
Is it gonna be head to head is gonna be points Now most of the APS go by points.
That's would be kind of become the go to tie breaker.
I do have one thing that uses head to head, but points is pretty much the standard go to If you had more points, you have better record.
You have same record.
But you have more points, You're going to get the non and you're gonna get understanding aside from that.
Like I said, look at who you're playing ISAT guys in the same situation as you.
Or is it? Hey, they they're out of it there.
You know, there's not much You gotta win those games.
You also gotta win the games against the people that are are still in it ifit's.
Hey, I got you know, two of us that at five going into week 10 were playing each other.
That's a huge matchup.
So how you make your decisions is gonna be based on who else you have on the schedule.
The likelihood of winning those games, um, and be build yourself.
Hey, I don't think I have a team that can win this week.
I don't think that I think can win next week.
You're gonna want to make changes right now, especially if you're in a situation where you need to win out S o.
Yeah, it's It's really going to come down Thio knowing the rules before you can dive into the strategy that you're going to use.
But yeah, any questions there that make that make sense to you rich? That makes sense.
Yeah, I had to drink.
So seeing you and you have four or five or five and 46 and you're in pretty good shape.
But you're gonna want to insulate yourself or make your roster better s.
So let's start with kind of making the roster better.
I think if you see yourself, I'm gonna say six and 37 and two should probably be making the playoffs this year here at 72.
Right now, you've got really good shot.
We've got four weeks remaining.
If you got 12 team league, six teams, over 500 gonna get in the playoffs, I would say 90% of time.
So the biggest thing.
I think if you already have a team that can that's gonna be in the playoffs, you're gonna want to start to create some roster depth, whether it be by trade or by the waiver wire or add drop.
I think you know we'll talk about would wire here in a minute.
What I mean about roster depth, I don't me and hey, you need to carry five receivers.
You need to carry six running backs.
No, you need to have two quarterbacks.
You need to have two tight ends because those are the two positions that no matter what happens, those guys, they're gonna be playing for you Each and every week.
You gotta find a way over the next four weeks to get your starting quarterback in place and your back up quarterback in place because you don't want to go down.
Two week 14 and hey, Patrick Mahomes rolls his ankle, chief, starting the playoffs, he's gonna be sitting the next two weeks.
You're gonna be screwed something just because you have a top five guy.
You're set going in the playoffs.
You got Derek Carr available.
You got Kurt cousins available.
You got Jared Goff available? Most.
Those guys are starting in the league.
Try to get those into your rosters as a safety net.
How many positions you have always gonna need to put a quarterback out there.
And you don't wanna have to roll out Jake Lutton or Jimmy Garoppolo because those were the only two guys available from week 14.
Um, and it did to the waiver.
I just brought this.
You're gonna want to hold on to your waiver claims.
If you're in the playoffs, hold on your waiver claims.
There's got very unlikely that someone to come out that's gonna be an instant starter into your lineup.
You're gonna want to use that Waivers as a defensive mechanism.
The hope is that your, you know, your higher than the next guy.
Uh, what I've done in years past is I know that I've had a guy, he's had a player again, get injured.
I know who he's gonna add.
And I may not need that player, but I don't want that guy to get.
So I'm gonna go out and add that guy so that waiver wire position gonna become extremely important as the playoffs go on.
You also need to realize it's not like every team that puts their players back in the pool.
So once the playoffs come, you're gonna have six teams find that waiver wire you're going to you know, the next time you're gonna have 14 and two teams.
So the players going into that that that free agency is gonna was gonna really tighten up on.
It's gonna come down to you, and you'll likely 4 to 5 other people that, uh, it's that position is gonna be nice to have.
So that's that's the biggest regulation I could make from the wave of standpoint.
Unless you see somebody out there that you gotta have, somebody drops George Kittle.
There's a potential George Kittle makes it back by the fantasy championship.
I would take a chance.
And on a waiver claim for George Kittle to put in my lineup for the championship, that's about it s o barring something crazy like that happening.
I'm not wasting away of claim unless I absolutely, absolutely have to.
Like I said, too tight ends two quarterbacks.
Then you need to dive into roster.
Guys, you need to look at the viable starters you have.
Do you have enough run next to, I would say, three running backs.
If you're running a two to running back to receiver, tight end and flex leak, you only need three running backs.
You only need three receivers.
Yes, you're gonna have some guys that hey, you could plug in if an injury happens.
But at this point, you don't need four starting running backs on your roster.
I find a way to move that starting running back or two of your starting running backs to improve the players you have in those positions again.
In these happen, guys, trade deadline comes up with 12.
Usually you're gonna have another liter soda.
That's why I wanted to get out ahead of this for week 10. Again.
A lot of this is gonna be the moves you start to look at over week 10, 11, 12.
Not necessarily something you're gonna jump off, jump off here and go dio.
But start looking at your roster.
If you know you have a lineup that's gonna go in there 14, 15, 16.
Look, feeling good about you still have two guys that would start on any other team.
You're gonna want to start trying to move those guys around or packaging them up and making your roster better.
So that's something you're gonna wanna look at.
It's cuffing season, guys.
If you have a top five running back, you got to do your best to get that cuff and you're gonna over pay for somebody like Alexander Madison.
Somebody like Tony Pollard because those guys are going to step in and they're gonna get the exact same amount of reps as someone like Alan Cook and Ezekiel Elliott.
Now, are those guys to the same level of those? No, they're not.
You're not going to get that.
The replacement is absurd, but it's better than having to go to the waiver wire and play somebody like like going in there and hope that he gets seven points.
So if you have to over pay to get a cuff on your top guy, if you're right down to the championship, you're gonna want Alexander Madison.
And you're gonna wanna okay for Alexander man.
For the peace of mind.
Don't trade a starter, but you can help somebody out.
There's a lot of options out there on the waiver wire.
Replace somebody again.
I'm going after him.
If I have double cooked, that's that's probably, you know, that's probably the biggest one.
Derrick Henry doesn't really have a cuff right now.
You guys only been injured one time the last three years, and it was, of course, we 15 of last year.
So here a lot of people in their fantasy there strive for fantasy championships.
So, um, guys like that, you know you'll know the cuff is.
If you've got the guy playing all year, you're going to know the guy you're going to need to go after, UM, top five kickers.
There's a lot of top five kickers available right now.
People drop their kickers because of my weeks and then forget to go back and look at what kickers air still available.
Now is the time to go back in there.
Look. Oh, what they're available.
There's some really solid options.
Randy Bullock is like number two.
Number three points.
He he was dropped last week across the board.
Uh, the Cincinnati Bengals have a real offense.
That's a real offense, is going to drive the ball.
They play in a division with pretty decent defense's they? They're going to get into field goal range quite a bit.
I don't love that their king in, you know, the Northeast in December, but he's not missed a lot. He's been consistent.
That's a really well coached squad.
I like somebody like Randy Bullock, Jason Sanders down in Miami.
Those guys were playing on teams that need that are gonna put points on the board.
They're not playing from behind.
Uh, it's not like like Sunday night when you know Ryan, suck up.
Couldn't kick any feels because Tom Brady gave the Saints of 28 point lead.
Look at the kickers.
Look at some of the, you know, make sure they don't buy weeks left for him.
Take advantage of this timeto.
Put a kick your into your roster.
You feel great about going into the playoffs.
If you can find a kicker that's kicking in a dome and week 15 or 16.
Detroit, Atlanta, The Southeast Saints.
You know most of those deal.
The Texas teams all kicking the dome.
The Colts kicking the dome.
See where they're playing come week 15 16.
Kicking a dome there.
Another extra, I would say 1.
52 points again.
It's not much, but every points going to come.
You know gonna matter when it comes down to the, you know, to the playoffs in the championship.
Uh, in addition to the kickers, the defense's There's a lot of decent defense is out there.
Uh, right now, the Browns pretty readily available.
They were just going by the Rams pretty readily available.
They were just on a by, uh, they both have fairly easy schedule.
The Browns might have the easiest schedule.
I think it's like Jacksonville New York Giants, New York Jets.
Uh, it doesn't get much easier than that.
Um, the rants again.
That's gonna be I think it's two or three.
They have pretty favorable matchups.
Andan the Colts that Theokoles have looked pretty good.
From a defensive standpoint, there been Don't break defense.
If the offense can control the ball, they're not giving up some points.
You know, don't settle for the defense you have.
Um, just because you're in a really good spot in your winning games doesn't mean can't get a little better.
So often times the kickers overlooked, the defense is overlooked.
Um, and you can you know.
Hey, you get a chance toe put a possible trade out there for a Steelers or a Ravens.
If I'm trading a guy on my bench and my defense, that okay for the number one number two defense, you're looking at a good four or five points above replacement there.
I'm taking a shot again.
You're never going to know what someone thinks trains in the eye of the beholder go out there, Give it a shot.
Definitely worth seeing.
If, hey, can I Can I pull someone out of, you know, Can I pull the top defense out of a guy now if it's somebody that's not not gonna play anymore there she's going in the dumpster, 31 8.
Don't go after that.
But, hey, it's Ah, there's there's some potential out there for some top defense is cool.
So you're saying you want to create roster depth in some areas and give growing up in others or what you were trying to say? It's more about improving a roster depth all year.
We've had to deal with injuries and injuries. They're gonna come.
That's going to be a part of the game.
I've We're kind of on that, that teetering part of the year where all right, you're going to decide whether you're going to create the best roster possible or you're gonna have a roster, you know, coming 15, 16, where there's two guys on your bench that Oh my gosh.
I started or not. Start him.
Man, I really wish I could have taken advantage of the trade deadline, uh, to trade somebody like Raheem Mostert right now where he most it has has doesn't have a ton of value to the right person that knows they're going to the playoffs.
They're gonna want somebody like Raheem Mostert on their bench to potentially slide into their flex.
Come week 15 or 16, we'll talk about some other players later.
But you wanna look at not just your roster.
You wanna look at the other rosters across the league, You know where? If you know who's gonna be fighting for a playoff spots and where there by weeks are you know what their matchups look like? You're gonna be able to position a trade with them better than just, you know, throwing stuff against the wall and that somebody accepts.
So it's more than just Hey, I got this guy.
Is the value the same this time of the year? Value is in winning games.
So So I'm gonna buy week that is going to do you no good this week.
Get your return and help you out.
Hopefully, when and potentially make the playoffs.
Um, you know, if you're you know, if you're trying to get there.
If you're already winning, you're gonna I don't care about the Bible.
The guy's going right back into my right now.
He's going back down.
I need to wait another week so I could make a trade.
I don't have enough viable options.
I still wanna win.
I still want to position myself Well, from a seed standpoint, but, you know, we got the Chiefs.
We got the Falcons, we got the Cowboys.
That's a ton of fantasy ammunition going into bye week, this week in a week where ah lot of people need to win to stay alive.
So those guys, they're gonna be I don't want to term suckers, but they're going to need toe.
They're gonna need to make some moves, and you might be able to take Don't say steal, But you might be able to get a couple of guys into your roster again.
You know, as the you know, the rest of the season goes on.
So Well, I'm sure you're like that spot for people like me or not.
So what we're doing is trying to scratch to win games.
Um, if I'm trying to scratch to win games.
I'm basically doing the exact inverse, so we'll start from the top.
We're gonna try to avoid people in by weeks.
Your If you have your studs in a bye week.
That's not good.
I don't know all the by weeks.
The rest of the year.
I know we got like 10 years.
I think the same through in there somewhere.
I I can't recall, but you got to keep your study by weeks if you have a stud going into a bye week because you know good on your roster, especially if you need to win.
So don't be afraid to trade away a stud for some relevant capital to stay alive and move your season forward again.
It's survived mode.
You can't win in the playoffs if you can't make it to the playoffs.
So, yes, sometimes tough decisions are gonna have to be made.
Um, I come back to the situation that something dodgy about earlier in the year you got If you can't trade your studs, somebody's looking to make their team better with top five quarterbacks.
Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson Battalion, kind of Murray.
Those guys were going to get you heavy return right now, especially to a team that has already made the playoffs.
I'm in a situation just to give you an example.
I had data Scott Deck press that I would love to have Deck Prescott going to the playoffs this year. I don't have them.
However, I have a really deep lineup.
I have a lot of guys on my bench that would likely squeeze into anyone else's roster.
So I have attempted to go out and acquire somebody like Josh Allan, Keiler, Murray.
That's an instant permit for me, my team, because I can.
I could give up some of the depth that I have, because again, I've made the playoffs.
Now I'm trying to put myself in a position to win in the playoffs.
Uh, now what you get again, that's going to be everybody's going to be a little different.
Some guys are better traders than others guys or gals or better traders and others.
But know that at this time of the year, quarterbacks, they're gonna get you the most return that you're going to see and if you got toe win out, you're sending my homes into a bye week.
This week you're going to need some.
You're going to get some solid return on that.
Likely someone that you know you could position yourself to.
Not only when this week, but big, Because you're gonna need to get a top receiver and a number two running back or a top running back and number two receiver for somebody like my homes.
I'm telling you, people are gonna be willing to take a look at that because it's gonna make their team better.
Uh, aside from that you got a top defense.
We just The inverse is kind of like the inverse of what we just went over here.
If you got a top defense, the Ravens, Steelers, somebody like that's going to the playoffs is gonna put those, ah, lot heavier.
You know, they're gonna put a lot more value in them than you would have now.
I'm not saying that's a good thing, but, hey, if you have Ravens or Steelers defense, you know you have puts you'll fill some gaps in your in your in your line up to win.
Um, there's some really good options on the waiver wire.
You got people like I said, the rams, the cold paints.
There's some There's some teams out there that can fill.
You're not gonna get the same.
But the points above replacement like I keep talking about off actual flex players over your defense is gonna be a lot higher.
So, uh, you know, it's It's one of those things where, you know, again, if you got a top trade away, a top quarterback goths out there cousins out there.
Take a look at what some of these matchups are down the year.
Yes, Patrick Mahomes putting up 30 points a game, However, Kirk Cousins can put up 26 points a game.
Now I can't guarantee he's going to do that, and he's not going to do with this much consistency.
But if you're trying to make it and get there, you put Kurt cousins with you know, another running back and receiver over what you were starting with just Pat Mahomes.
I like the chance of you.
You're really increasing your your point, so you know your weekly point average.
So and then if you have to trade away your best player, if you have to win, you need more players.
You need to get better.
Don't be afraid to treat your best player.
Because again, it's all about getting the playoffs, not winning the house if you're not, if you're not in the playoffs yet and you need to get there don't be afraid to trade your best player.
I've done a lot.
I've probably done it more than I'd like to admit, Uh, but I've made people trade me their best player.
And I've also traded my bus player to stay alive.
So it's just because you think it won't you know, You think it's not gonna happen again? Use, um, reasoning.
You seduced research on who they have left.
Don't just send a trade requests.
Put a little note in there.
Hey, I noticed you got some Bio is coming out.
I know you gotta win out.
Here's my best player.
I need this in this back.
That's what happens.
So, Ross, you Paul has a question.
So if I too if I have to win to make the playoffs and have Z going into a bye week this week, are you gonna trade him? Yeah.
Yeah, I'm gonna trade Zeke.
I'm gonna trade Zeke for a couple of reasons.
one. I'm, you know, we're gonna talk about him here a minute.
Um, you know, from a standpoint of I think he's somebody stocks still a little higher than it should be, but to Yeah, if you have to win out, Zeke's gonna give you again.
Zeke was a top three. Drafted.
He's still a top five running back.
He's going to get you a really self returned this week, Especially after Garrett Gilbert went out there and prove that.
Hey, maybe he can help this offense push down the field.
He's going into a bye week.
You're gonna gonna rest that hammy.
He's gonna come back out pretty fresh.
I think the Cowboys could be a better offense coming out after the by.
I'm not so sure the defense is going to get any better, but I think the offense could be better.
I think we're looking at some more relevancy, so I'm 100% if you have two went out and you're hoping that zika on a bike is gonna help? You went out this week.
It's not gonna happen.
You're looking to trade Zeke, put him on the on the trading block and see what comes back.
And that's hard for me to say, because he's my favorite player.
Well, not awesome, but yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So now that we have some strategy around these last four weeks, who do you want on your roster is going down the stretch.
So the biggest one, the biggest take I have here, is my hottest take.
I'm trying to get his many Baltimore Ravens on the doctors I possibly can.
The Baltimore Ravens have been through an absolute buzz saw of defense's Steelers Chiefs Colts There, second half of what we call the second half of the rest of the season here is about toe open wide up and for buying.
I'm buying because everyone wants Dalvin, Cook's Davante Adams of the world.
I'm looking for people that helped me win and might have a stock and value that's a little lower than they happen.
So Ravensoffense Jackson, Lamar Jackson, J. K.
Dobbins, Hollywood Brown Market.
Who's that defense in the next 767 games? Their schedule opens up.
We have the Patriots, we have the Titans.
We have the Cowboys with Browns and the Jaguars.
If you guys have watched any football, the last month.
Those defense's air getting lit up.
Patriots got lit up by Joe Flacco last night.
Titans gave up 17 points in the Chicago Bears again, Times might be the better defense, but Cowboys, porous defense, Brown's porous defense and the Jacks.
The Jacks play from behind every game.
And, you know, we saw what the Texans just They're doing this last weekend.
So if I'm gonna from you, Lamar Jackson's value has never been lower.
Value has never been lower.
J. K. Dobbins had a good week.
He had not weak again.
We still haven't heard about any return from Mark Andrews.
I'm going after his many Baltimore Ravens players.
I possibly can, because I think the Ravens players are gonna win me fantasy championship.
After that, we got Erin Jones, Erin Jones on this awesome Packers offense.
He's been back from injuries.
E think is what you put up with 11 points this last week, you got a lot of covert cases there in Green Bay.
Got Aaron Rodgers getting a lot of the touchdown through the air.
Davante Adams, Of course you want him, He's gonna be He's become one of the best players in fantasy this year, Erin Jones has not been great.
As of late on, depending on who you're looking at, his value could be lower.
Uh, if it's somebody that's getting frustrated, you gotta understand you have Erin Jones on your team.
You wasted a high dropping five weeks out of the year.
He's been extremely frustrating.
Somehow offers you somebody that's different. It's new.
Value is low right now.
I'm saying by low, if you can, it's gonna be a little bit, but I don't think his value is gonna be quite as high after another couple weeks when he really gets back into the groove.
And that often starts turning all along cylinders.
Michael Thomas, another huge, frustrating guy that I've been fired because I just couldn't wait around any longer from back from injury.
He got pretty minimal weakness.
He I think he saw 10 targets or seven targets.
I think he had 67 yards.
He put okay, game together.
The Saints ABS blew out the ****ing years.
They did not have to use Michael Thomas at all.
He is someone again.
People are gonna look at him and be like, man, I waited all year for that.
So take advantage of that.
Try to find someone that that might be willing to give up a Michael Thomas, insert him into your lineup and win the championship.
Jake Lot to throw the football finally has a quarterback that can throw the deep ball.
Minshew doesn't look like he's coming back.
D J chart is finally healthy.
He went off for 947.
That's the kind of play we were used to seeing last year.
The Bars are playing from behind every game.
D J charts gonna get targets.
He's somebody that I'm going after.
While his value is still pretty low using a backup quarterback, Your hope is that, Hey, somebody doesn't feel the same way.
But he's somebody I think could really carry you down the stretch as a wide receiver to and the last but not least, Nick Chubb.
Looks like Nick Job's gonna be back this week.
However, I expect the job to be on the snap count.
If he's on the snap count, we're gonna look what 10 to 12 carries.
Uh, he's not gonna again.
You never know him.
He could break away, but I expect a pretty modest week on the job this week.
10 to 12 carries, 80 yards, potentially a touchdown.
That's gonna upset some people that's gonna like, Man, I again.
I waited around all year for Nick, time to come back, and this is the Nick job I get.
He will be back.
That offense has not been the same since he was in it.
Cream has not been the same since the Troubles in that offense.
Cream mind better stats when Trump was running the ball next to him.
So take advantage of that owner that's had to sit there with Nick Chubb all year.
He's gonna get frustrated in this weekend.
Offer him something, see if he takes it.
So that's the kind That's the guys.
I again, I'm able to put some of those guys on my roster towards the back end of the year.
I'm doing it right now.
They haven't done enough to put their value when it probably should be.
But I'm again looking at my crystal ball for you guys.
I think these guys are gonna be studs down the stretch.
There's gonna be some growing pains over the next couple of weeks while they get their bearings back.
But to capitalize on that awesome.
So that was a by portion who, trying to remove off your roster.
Now, who's selling? So uh, probably not expected one.
But after I got a little bit of, you know, some digging here, Johnny Smith.
He's, uh, been pretty touchdown dependent, and he's getting targets.
But the yards aren't following on.
I think with his touchdown last week, I really, honestly think he could, you know, sell him to a top five team for a pretty valuable live receiver to, uh, and what they're not going to realize is that there's some really good options that you could be.
Some really the opposite could be had on the waiver wire, Uh, that are doing the exact thing.
They're getting the targets.
They're getting the yards, but they're extremely touchdown dependent.
It's what we're seeing a lot of the tight end position this season, You know, aside from your Travis Kelsey, in a couple weeks, we had George Kittle.
It's been yards touchdown dependency.
There's about five tight ends.
You can add off the waiver wire.
They're gonna be the exact same definition for you.
So you got that touchdown last week.
People can think business moving in the right direction.
But again, he's somebody.
I'm likely trying to move because again, I don't think he's back.
If he's on my roster, I'm on.
I'm starting him.
I just think his values a little higher than it actually is. Right now.
I think you could the return you get for somebody like Johnny Smith on teams that are going to be in the playoffs wanting to put that, you know, running to really improve that tight end position.
I think he's somebody.
You could get some value for another guy we've seen.
Man started really strong.
He thought he was going to be the next world beater there in Las Vegas.
I'm not saying that Josh Jacobs is bad.
He's not my fear.
With Josh Jacobs, Dante Booker, Devontae Booker looked back, just look better on Sunday.
He had breakaway speed, broke a couple tackles.
My fear is down the stretch that's become a timeshare.
I can't guarantee who's going to be getting a touchdown, can't guarantee who's going to get in the arts.
It's gonna be split and they're gonna have each one is gonna have a decent week.
So Josh Jacobs again, Devontae Booker had one good week.
So two good weeks is troubling.
Three good weeks as a pet try to move Jacobs before the Booker Thing becomes a pattern again.
If I have Jacobs, I'm starting him.
I'm not saying he's not a great player.
What values? A little higher than I think it should be and looking into the crystal ball because values into decline as the year goes on.
Another guy in the exact same spot early.
If you watched any of Todd Gurley's games, the dude look slow, but he still keeps getting touches.
He keeps in touch downs when the game's on.
When the gaming that doesn't matter, it's on the line.
I mean, hell, he's the one that cost them the game And get the lions.
If you could move Todd Gurley, move! Todd Gurley again.
People are gonna not dive into the game.
You're gonna hope they didn't watch it.
They're gonna look at the stat line.
They're going to see 12, 14, 18, 16, 12, 14, 18.
The guy puts up a good stat line.
Has for the last two years.
It's all dependent on touchdowns.
That's going to start to slow down.
If you watch the game.
Brian Hill looks quicker.
He hits the whole factor.
He just looks like a better writing back.
And so, with Todd Gurley going down the stretch later on his career, I don't know Atlanta like they could start to do a little rebuild.
They're I think they're gonna want to see what they have out of Brian Hill.
That scares me not saying Todd Gurley is not going to get his touches, but Brian Hill scares me in that offense.
And so Todd Gurley is probably value a little higher going down the stretch.
We've been looking to get through 10 weeks with a fairly healthy Todd Gurley Todd Gurley's knees or bad.
We put four more weeks on those knees.
I don't love how it looks going into week 15 and 16 trying to push for a championship, and then the last guy we just talked about **** Elliot, Zeke Elliot on offense, that is struggling.
Zeke Elliot still has the name value, not saying he's got the stat value.
He was much better with that press got under the helm.
But Zika Lee, it's gonna return.
The value on the name alone personally is Ik Elliott's offered to me.
I'm gonna think about it because there's not a lot of guys you can acquire right now that could win you a fantasy championship.
It's a guy that could win. You have Fantasy championship.
I love how it looks, but Garrett Gilbert could be anything out of this.
Z Kelly becomes a really viable option.
However, if you can't, then Z College is gonna be an anger sinking your ship.
And that's what scares me.
So we're coming off a goodbye.
Were coming off a good game with the Steelers that shows the Cowboys offense might have little hope.
I want to play that.
I'm selling Zeke.
I'm getting a return That somebody like Zeke Elliot would would would get with a little bit more of a guarantee.
Kelly, it's a great player is in your lineup.
You're not trading them for peanuts, but know that somebody that has the championship on the mind doesn't need to see great Zeke Elliot, the next two or three weeks.
They're looking for Zeke Elliot with 14 15.
He's playing in those divisional matchups in December, turning out yards so again, I think is valuable higher than it should be right now.
Think Cowboys could look to give Tony powered a few more touches? He looks pretty fast.
Three Cowboys, they're out of the race.
You're gonna They're gonna start to touch, is just There's a lot.
There's a lot that goes into Zeke.
I thought all day about it, but again, he's somebody I'm probably selling right now, Actually, 100%.
I'm selling Zika right now.
I told Ross to Selznick, telling you guys that sell Zeke Elliot cells E.
Kelly because the return key it's gonna be more beneficial than what he does or what he could potentially do down the stretch.
Now I hope he proves me wrong as my favorite player, as as I have on my roster, telling you to sell them.
Luckily, it's leagues.
I'm not not selling him, but I think that it's gonna have a rough going back into the year.
I think he gets put on the shelf a little bit more.
I think going into the bye week you're not gonna have on your roster.
I recommend trying to move somebody like sick.
So after all that, we do have some violates.
Keep in mind, e I was on mute, so it's all good that happened just alive.
You gotta just stop me.
I just keep talking.
And this stuff just keeps popping in my head.
No, e got you all day and the stuff just keeps coming.
Yeah, it's cool. Yeah.
So we have somebody, but well, we're a bunch of teams on bye weeks to speak.
So we got the Falcons, Cowboys, the Chiefs and the Chargers.
So there'll be a bunch of major raster holes.
Anything on the wire that will be like Good, I guess, Or waiver wire stuff this week, guys, waiver wire sucks Just warning you.
It's a horrible week for a wait for it to come around.
Which is why I wanted to do this show in the first place like this because there's a lot of options and you've got to start thinking a little bit more strategically about how you feel these gaps.
It's gonna be impossible to feel a guy like Patrick Mahomes you know Justin Herberts playing up there right with him.
You know, he's he's not made a mistake in this guy's been unreal.
The Falcons air, you know, a perennial.
You know, fantasy top top top guys.
Uh, the cowboys you got Cooper.
You got CD lamb, You know, maybe squeezing this lineup, so they're not quite there.
But again, those are top names at the top receiver in the top top top running back.
My hope is that in the weeks passed, you'd be able to stockpile some of these guys because, uh, this week wave wires a bunch of really, really boom or bust eso I'll dive into my waiver wire first.
Then I want to talk about some guys I could stream again.
Not not perfect, but potentially stream double going into this week.
So could've Samuel from my Corey Davis fans out there.
Uh, Curtis Samuel is creatives to point out.
Every year it's like this is the year Kurdistan is gonna break out.
He's gonna be a stud.
He's the next Tyreek Hill.
Like he's gonna be able to do everything.
He could run the ball, he can catch the ball we're going All these sets.
Uh, if they felt that way, they would have went out.
Paid Robby Anderson. Wide receiver.
One money, three upended.
Have Anderson and D.
J. Moore on the outside.
They got McCaffrey back.
They got Mike Davis, who could be just like McCaffrey when he's in there.
However, their winning football games.
I think it's because they found a new weapon. Curtis Samuel.
He's not getting a lot of love on the Internet, guys.
Not a lot of people are saying, Hey, Colonel Samuels here.
However, I think Curtis Daniels here.
I think Curtis Daniels here and I think this team is going to stay.
He's my number one way, my edition going into the week again.
This is for people that are on the cusp of making the playoffs.
I'm not wasting a way.
Why pick on Curtis Samuel? Just not doing it.
I don't think he's somebody that's gonna I'm gonna plug into my roster.
He's gonna win me and the rest of my season.
However, he's somebody that I want to see on my roster.
If he keeps this up, he's going to my flex.
He's touches, he's getting targets.
He's getting rushes.
He's getting the red zone.
He's he is starting to put it together.
Teddy Bridgewater solid to be there.
I mean, they took it to the wire with the Chiefs plant.
The Chiefs played well, The Chiefs did not make a mistake, and the Panthers took it to the water.
I like Curtis Samuel.
He's my favorite this week.
Now, on the Internet, you go to any other side.
They're gonna tell you Jalen Reagor again.
He's actually number three for me.
Number two for me is Richie James.
I don't know if you've got a chance to watch the game Thursday, but Rich James looked like Tyreek Hill and he looked good.
He looks faster than anyone else.
I think he's got like a 43 40.
The 40 Niners have an infirmary at receiver.
You got Devo. Samuel's been and out Brand.
Are you expecting? And out? Kendrick, Born on the covert list.
They cut their Dante Pettis last week.
It's in shambles.
Their bright spot is this.
Richey James and I like Richie James because he's different than Deebo.
Samuel on Brand New York, Deebo, Samuel Brand now you played exact position.
Richard James could play all over the field.
Seems like that playing from behind really runs.
A great I had a great running running offense.
Runs a great play action.
Richard James is made for the play action.
The guy gets open it open, and once he has the ball is absolutely electric.
If you missed it, recommend going back.
Richey James Highlight Week nine.
He will make you a believer.
I'm a rich disbeliever, so you should, too.
My number three.
Jalen Reagor coming back from injury to this Eagle team that again has no receivers out there.
You got Travis Fulgham, who was a journeyman on every single team he played for, and then Carson Wentz turned him into.
You know, I think he's like the 13th rated wide receiver this year, playing like half the year, So I think Fulghum remains the number one.
I just love the chemistry that him and Carson wins.
Have Carson wins.
Knows there's gonna be.
He throws it there.
Fulghum will remain.
Carson wins the number one, however, Jalen Reagor he comes in.
I think he plays the spot to Sean Jackson, and that's what Carson Wentz has been missing the guy that gets really stretch the field for them and open up that offense because they've had trouble running the ball as well.
Probably another week until he comes back.
Fingers crossed, is back this way.
But I think we still got another week.
Think Sean Jackson.
So if you wanna waste your waiver wire on this John Jackson, you go ahead again.
I think that he's worth owning, but I like somebody like Richie James, who could really change the week or you give you that really big boom or bust.
You have 176 yards a touchdown looking like 17 targets.
That's not gonna change guys. He's playmaker.
Shanahan sees playmakers again.
You get no targets next week, you could come back like Jordan.
You were so long.
I don't think so. I've watched a lot of football.
You don't see that kind of speed.
He's gonna be a playmaker.
He's a stage number one for me.
If you really hurting for running back.
You got Montgomery on the on the snide You've got, uh, David Johnson, the snide Duke Johnson.
He's out there again.
One week ownership.
He's going to get your 10 to 12 points.
He's going to fill The gap is gonna be a good stopgap for you on then J D McKissic.
If he's out there, I'm jumping on him.
He's probably somebody.
If you need a running back, I'm using a waiver claim on I don't love that.
He's gonna have to share three offense with Antonio Gibson.
You got Alex Smith coming in there a little bit better of a passer.
I like McKissick.
Still don't think he's, you know, worth a waiver claim, but if you need him, go out there and grab him.
Eso Hey, that's za.
Really? It's a light waiver wire week, Uh, from you know, from our flex position players, you need to stream a quarterback.
You got Patrick Mahomes got Herbert.
He's starting Matt Ryan.
You know, he's kind of on that fringe.
I like a couple of matchups, you know, you got to to look pretty good last week.
Uh, actually, I say really good.
That game was a lot of fun to watch.
I can't wait to see two over Skylar for the next 10 years.
It's that that got me excited I think you can fill in the looks comfortable with him.
They have a really good game plan in action for him.
He's somebody potentially, uh, you know, he could be a backup to Patrick Mahomes as well, so he's worth at it.
You know Jared Goff.
He's been added and dropped and dropped all year long.
You know what? You're getting off.
You're getting 250 yards.
You're getting at least one touchdown.
Attn Least one interception.
Some weeks, he throws two touchdowns.
You never know on then. Baker. Mayfield.
It's going against the Texans.
Last time we saw Baker Mayfield, he was battling it out with Joe Burrow.
We never know what you're Mayfield we're going to get with Nick Chubb back.
Odell Beckham out.
I think they lean on the run quite a bit.
The good thing about Baker Mayfield is he plays better when the run is better.
He's a play action quarterback.
The Browns run the ball.
Mayfield plays well, so again, he's somebody they're playing.
The Texans Gotta be a lot of points in that game.
Baker Mayfield could be a big dream, and there, you know, for a Q B option and we talked about this.
Guy's got Saints, just stymied the bucks.
They're available in the league's Colts.
They're going up against the Ravens.
I know I talked about the Ravens offense.
This is the last tough, often last top defense the offense plays the rest of the year.
Uh, Colts pretty good.
The cold turn bad.
You know, it's, ah, situation where, uh um you know, we'll see what happens and then are the Eagles.
They play the Giants.
You never know what giants Dino giant you're going to get.
The defense usually plays pretty well again.
You're looking to stream.
You're not dropping your top eight defense's, but, uh, you know, looking protections if you got like I said, you got an opportunity to look at into the future at who's who's playing who down the line.
You start looking a couple weeks in advance, You guys, we're getting down to the end, so don't don't go just dropping anybody.
So you guys don't know we should have a Twitter Twitter handle is at Facebook.
