What is going on, guys? It is the what to watch for episode of myself for the third preseason games.
Coltsfirst the Chicago Bears, of course.
Frank Wright came out earlier this week and said that starters will not play exchange.
He exchanged text with Matt Naggy about, uh, they got player stars and they said No and it's kind of out of the ordinary because, you know, Week three is typically the game that everyone plays most. Their starters.
I saw it recently with the Cardinals and Vikings game earlier today.
Uh, Kirk Cousins.
Yes, sorry. Kirk Cousins.
CM played almost all the whole first half.
I saw it last night with the Browns and the Buccaneers.
Big may feel played in the second half, which surprising a lot, so don't expect a cold stories play.
Decoy percent's not playing, which I'm a little worried about because we don't know that stands by any luck.
Yet Cooper's that could be our started week when he could not.
So that will be very interesting to see.
We saw Angelique walk on the field, of course, didn't do any kind of pregame warm ups or anything like that.
But Kevin Bullington seven fans said that age look did not have ankle brace on.
Um, he's doing fine on Stuff sides.
It's it's quick to here.
Hopefully, hopefully, Lux that back in practice Monday when I go back to camp because they only have Monday and Tuesday practice before they they go back to Cincinnati the 29th Thursday finished the preseason, and then after that, they start the regular season.
That's kind of crazy.
Think we only got two weeks up to the regular season, so many ways to the game tonight.
About 30 minutes from now, the Colts will be facing the Chicago Bears.
The Chuck gonna bowl of guns now the defensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears and former head coach Indianapolis Coats, Um, couple things I'm gonna be watching for outside of, you know, Rocky's Rocky's saying and anymore.
And, um, in a Pierre's ear, we really don't know who's gonna be our quarterbacks at the back end of a roster.
So you guys, you got guys like Nick Hairston, Joan Collins and Marvel Tail on Chris Mills and even the Quincy Wilson.
You know that we just don't know.
Yeah, who's gonna make the back into that? roster for a quarterback spot.
I think the locks right now probably rock.
Uh, Quincy Wilson's probably locked, but he's kind of far off.
Kind of farfetched isn't playing great so far on also, I think Piers there, of course, Kenny Moore, our top two quarterback guys.
So it's gonna be our starters going in the week one.
So I'm just gonna be very interesting to see how the Colts cut that down.
Um, and just basically how the colts are gonna you know how the back end of that roster is gonna look.
So I ask you a very interesting the watch, Of course.
Um, probably I would have to say it's either marvel.
So I'd walk Big Bob USC, Dave to the corner.
You want to be in a practice squad this year, but after next year, I don't.
I think next year you'll be on mixing it.
Push for that roster spot.
And, of course, John Collins had him on the practice squad all year last year.
You got the wrong with the first team first couple days of camp and has just fallen off ever since. He hasn't looked great.
He's been wrong a lot with the second team, and even when he got very limited looks with first team, he looked very bad.
So it's gonna be jail Bones.
You need seven others.
You have two great weeks to make this because he's got the size.
He's got that look.
Billy started for Falcons, you're the one simple.
Selby's Galveston a watch.
We're gonna need him.
Step up, either.
You make this team.
I just yesterday in that joint practice against the Brown for one day, the Corvette completion, the receiver when he was guarding the receiver.
So it's just not great.
And no, the guy that everyone seems to forget it here.
But year, our gives him the extension, and they hear some kind of gets pushed down.
The roster and depth chart and ends on primarily especially Team were, But Hairston's quietly had a fairly solid has been fairly consistent.
Of course, he needs to be another guy.
These he needs to make place.
I'll be very instance.
See, I want to see this.
We're not going to see a lot of our main cornerbacks, so it's getting a rest and see if you know he plays outside or inside as I think you could play either position well.
And, of course, the guy undrafted one of very few undrafted players like there's only think there was about six or nine on the Colts roster right now.
And I know one of the Shack Taylor medical run stops in the run game last week in Brown's of has been very solid.
Very good press corner.
He's got really good ball skills, too.
Uh, he's one of us under after guys that could possibly make the roster out now at quarterback.
Its very, very deep.
So we'll have to see.
We'll see if Jack Taylor, number 47 ends up getting a run on the second team.
Or will really think I see a second semen just in the stream but really be a starter's per se.
And then Chris Milton.
Very, very bomb it and the roster.
He was arguably the user, probably probably fifth corner last year, and he was primary.
Primarily are gone, they're on special teams and he was a hell of a gunnery and he made place for the punt coverage team all year last year, and you did what you did last week.
It's grounds he had a medical.
He had a couple tackles, uh, as a gunner.
So that's the problem.
Chris Milton If you're want, if the Colts keep six corners, he'll probably end up being 1/6 just because of his role as a gunner.
And the Colts want to keep five corners that they could.
Legitimate play week to week is you're gonna be playing.
Good offense is like the Chargers week wanted the Falcons and the Steelers and the Saints, so there'll be arrests and watching the course.
Jesus, I don't know.
He just that someone has kind of let me down.
I just I really thought Quincy Wilson was gonna take that next step next year.
A rock Hudson has almost took that number.
That number three spot from Quincy Wilson opposite outside corner from pure Nazir.
I just want to see maybe if Quincy Wilson makes team, which I full expected to, it'll be.
I think you'll end up being 1/4 corner for us, but it will be a he's gonna guard all the Titans were running backs and some packages with, you know, rocky sin and disease ear outside any more inside and slide than Quincy Wilson inside with another with a no line back or whatever, because I don't think the Colts linebackers air all that great pass coverage.
We saw it last year in playoffs.
Uh, can't City killed us with Travis Kelsey over in Milan Where? Slot? It seems that last year, but it was very paramount and moving on.
The second thing I'm watching for and I think a lot of Colts fans could be watched it for eyes.
Give me the battle between Phillip Walker and Chad Kelly the second we signed Check Kill, I said, if he gets his act right, he's gonna end up being our third quarterback on a roster.
He's gonna be a practice scoring quarterback that we're gonna have, and it is.
He's playing really, really, really well so far in camp.
He's been very consistent, solid Jack Kelly, at least, and he's been the first guy out in practice field every day, and Frank Reich has said a dizzy He's been the best.
He's been the most consistent guy, and he's been a really good character around the locker rooms.
That's that's a really, really good sign.
Um, Still, Walker hit, not filled water had a really good week last week, two against the Browns and against you against the Browns to move the ball.
But I just need to see a consistency factor like Rick.
Voluntary selling the Colts broadcast, He's really filled.
Walker is really good at throwing outside numbers, but if you get him inside with him only being filed 11 about two and £10 he's not that great from Megan Inside, you can't see over linebackers and over defense alignment, so we just need I need to see a little more persistent, but consider consistency factor from filled Walker.
I think I don't really like Soap Walker, but the way they've been playing him in camp and preseason has been fairly good.
He's played good at times.
He played getting it's the Bills.
At times he played good against the Brown, so I'll be a rested to see who starts the game.
So I'm thinking open.
It's Jack Kelly.
Kelly starts because we need to see Chad Kelly against real NFL twos, which are gonna be what starters they're gonna be today.
And I just feel like it's going to Philip Walker because Philip Parker's got almost all the second team represent camp.
He's got all the second team reps in the preseason.
I feel like it's gonna continue tonight for the, uh, Bears Phillip Walker.
Of course, both thescore back supply half.
So nice thing Phillip Walker will probably end up being the quarterback that starts.
And then next thing, I'm gonna be watching this.
It imagine that's been developing over the last couple last week or two.
His hail hitched is it's Ross Travis or two tight ends.
Course we got Jack Dolan, Eric Ebron, and those are three.
Those are three tight ends, arguably, and it'll be very interesting to see if the Colts keep 45 tight ends.
What according apartness?
