I'm grandpa from flusher Sports on and welcome back to another SportsCastr.
And tonight I'll be contained the last 22 laps of just 20 NASCAR truck series race here at Martinsville Motor Speedway.
Your current leader is number 98 in the Ford Grant and Finger, who started up eight in this 200 lap race.
We have 22 21 laps to go as we are under caution in second place, we have Brent Moffett in the Chevy number 23.
He started in fourth and again.
I want to get back in the NASCAR feeling they'll be racing the final.
The actual NASCAR race will be in Arizona to Sun, actually, next Sunday after this upcoming one would be the last NASCAR's to use.
I figured I commentate the ending of the truck race to give me just a little bit more practice, nor because I have a comment a NASCAR in about a month and a half.
But there's Matt Noise to crew chief of Ben Rhodes, who is currently in fourth and then in third.
He is currently in third.
Ralph Lazar, number four in the Toyota as the pace truck is still out now, 20 laps to go.
So if you guys enjoy the action here, quite a bit of cautions occur in these trucks.
Siri's races and no shock were under caution right now.
Yeah, there's 20 to go, and this is also a NASCAR Hall of Fame race, by the way.
NASCAR Hall of Fame 200.
Then we take a look at the 2020 playoffs here.
Sheldon Creed, with one win, brought moppet one win written fingered leader and then Zane Smith with plus four points.
That Mice four points is Matt Crafton.
Austin Hill with minus 19.
Ben Rhodes Mice 44 in Tyler M.
Crumb with minus 87.
Not good, thanks, Big Daddy.
Cool for tuning as they head down the back straightaway and this relatively short track the pace truck will head off in finger will get the head start next to Mott Fit.
The final 19 laps here at Martinsville is about to get underway.
As the green flag is out, you're back to action, as in finger takes the inside.
It's a little bump trapped, and then Lazard, on the outside, tries to make the past.
He does make the past four.
First, some contact out in front and figuring out tries.
Thio, go to the way inside.
That doesn't work.
I feel like the front two cars might spend each other out here almost three wide here.
If bigger a ****in almost crashed into each other.
Now in first is Lazar with 18 laps to go, going away on the inside again, then figure not giving it up.
And now goes up to the outside going in on in on the inside.
Mom fit now as they go around now, 17 laps to go.
Lazard still in the lead.
Ralph Lazard with the mobile One sponsor truck here tonight, looking like vintage Tony Stewart out there with that sponsor coming on in.
On the inside now is X number 19.
He goes on in a nice little past there.
Those are suddenly with 16.
Miguel Aziz, They go around turned one trying to go in on the inside.
There is Smith on freezing, and now we have our 10th caution.
We did have quite a bit.
Oh, yeah. There is a truck in the wall.
We had quite a bit contact out in front, but no crash.
We do get crash here, though.
It's Carson Hope.
Pressure the Chevy Number 42.
He started 33rd.
Hey wasn't even in the top eight.
I think he was kind of summer in the twenties and he hits the wall here, look like near turn three.
So you have another caution, your 15 laps together, things and a banana for tuning in, and we take a look at Ralph Lazar 21st career start.
He had the one win back in Talladega this season and six top 10 finishes.
Or you have to make your name in the truck series for you get called up to actual NASCAR, and it looked like the stuff of those stats he's doing while trying to pull a victory lane for his second time this season.
Isn't that crazy? We already completed six laps in less than four minutes.
I gotta be honest with you.
This race has been only going on for about an hour and 15 minutes because this game just raced our radio force.
This race has only been going on for an hour and 15.
If I actually knew, I thought I was expecting this race standing around 11.
Actually, if if I knew it was gonna be this short actually would accommodate the whole thing more.
Uh, well, now I know next year I'll definitely try to do some or truck races. We'll see.
They're usually on Fridays, sometimes on Saturdays.
If there on Fridays were next season, there's a decent chance I might try to commentate some. We'll see.
Won't be every night because, you know, mea NHL MLB.
If I'm doing NASCAR on Sunday at but take a look at the first time winners here.
An average of 20.
Lester was 19 years old when he won Talladega back on October 3rd early this month.
Sam higher, 17 years old, back in Bristol and a couple others.
It's really nice to see you know, these young kids, you know, 1920 years old, just racing out, and then eventually, when they're about 26 27 you know they make it through X committee and then you're like, Oh, wow there, Rookie and NASCAR is like, I remember seeing this guy in the truck series, right? Of course, self.
Some guys like the Bush brothers who you know, occasionally race in the, you know, occasionally raising the truck racing.
Also, guys like Todd Guillain and Trevor Bayne.
You used to be pretty solid NASCAR drivers, but yeah, well, they they never really worked out.
I think they both want, like, a race of peace.
It was a trip being won the 2011 Daytona 500.
Something definitely race I want to do for a throwback soon.
But yeah, like that was his only racing the spotlight Pretty much, you know that after that, he would just get, like, constant 30th place finishes.
Cobb, Of course.
She is a female.
She was in the truck series back in, like from the early two thousands.
I'm pretty sure early 2000 tens, that is.
Yeah. A few of these names sound familiar.
I know Sheldon Creed, the man who started on the pole.
He is one of the better truck drivers I knows.
Well, Ben Rhodes is also decent.
The man in fifth in the tender sponsor truck here is this.
The pace truck will go around and now 12 laps to go.
Just like to quickly mention tomorrow at noon.
I'll be on the call for the Boston College Eagles and the Clemson Tigers.
And then Sunday it is looking more and more likely.
I'll become Ting.
The Seattle Seahawks in San Francisco, 40 Niners game at 4 25 and the Monday will be the Monday night game between the Bucks and the Giants.
And Tuesday actually have Tuesday off because the election.
So I'll probably end up doing a throwback Tuesday morning, probably.
Well, I'll either be Ah, hockey.
Yeah, I'll probably a hockey game.
So let's look forward to, I guess, my next upcoming days.
And, of course, wants to be the Paris Kate show Thursday, probably Thursday Night Football on the Friday probably all sports socks showing again.
Maybe the end of the truck race.
My schedule is looking like the pace truck heads up here 11 laps ago.
Well, it will be 10 at the restart.
And, Boy, you had some nice pushing and shoving in front on the last restart and finger.
Now down the third moppet at second he takes the outside.
We'll get this race back here away with 10.
Miguel, as lizard on the inside keeps the lead, gets the bump trapped from in finger now in finger goes on the way inside and oh, man, look like car was about Thio trucks.
Scuse me was about to roll up to the way inside.
Almost cause a wreck because we are near three wide again making huge contact here now, at nine laughs ago.
Us are now on the outside and finger takes the lead on the inside and going around is the four, and he hits some trucks asses.
Well, 11th caution.
Because I believe that was Moffett or it was roads.
I couldn't see who it waas.
Well, mom Pick got taken out.
So I think it was roads Who's spun out less erred.
Yeah. Brett Moffett.
Yeah, he's also in the crash, and there goes the 2nd and 3rd place drivers.
Take a look here again.
The replay All What's Ben Rhodes, who spun him out and then writing a Moffett? And luckily, the Menard sponsor car was able to get out of the way.
And luckily, those were the other two cards involved in the wreck.
But back slamming on the hood of Mom fit.
And so we have our second caution of the broadcast already.
Oh, my goodness.
Spun around and yeah, I hit the hood of Mont Fit e mean, absolutely nothing lesser could do there.
Kind of got spun out there at the last second.
As again, Ben Rhodes Just trying to move in on the outside.
They try to take the inside, and they just It was hard.
I'm I don't know what that I don't know what that strategy was outside, I guess, causing a caution.
And then he really dodged a bullet that other trucks weren't involved in that crash.
Yeah, currently, caution is out with seven to go.
Dodgers blew Stephan Pigs Rock.
Thanks for tuning in.
Like to welcome you into the broadcast quicker, but with such a short tracking, you know, with seven laps to go on all the intensity, you know, that's why I do like about the truck race.
They will bump each other and, you know, really make the leaders day, you know, really painful.
You know, it's not like NASCAR.
You pull away by second race is over.
Yeah, I earn a win, right? Take a look back in Texas earlier this year and oh, my goodness of spin out on the last lap as the back.
Oh, the trucks to smash off the wall.
It was roads along with a couple other drivers.
I believe another one was number 18.
Yeah, caution is out.
See for 18 on my roster bound seem and Sandra's Blue Steph, Thanks for tuning in.
Appreciate everyone stopping by.
Yeah, six laps to go.
So we're gonna have a clean final four laps or we will head into green White checkered Pretty much your only two options at this point as the pace truck goes across the line with five laps to go.
By the way, Number 18 is Christian Eakins, by the way, who is currently in third? Yeah, he's got a good shot at when this one, especially the front two cars, pretty much wreck each other.
Like like they did last time, like a couple of minutes ago.
Hey, Struck is out.
Five laps to go and it remains.
The Ford Grant in finger number 98 remains in front.
Also tomorrow we got college football game for you.
Multiple good college football games for you, especially on Fox.
Texas will take on Oklahoma State and then 24th ranked Oklahoma will take on Texas Tech after my Homes college.
I'm pretty sure I'm not mistaken.
It would be to bring good games like a cell beyond the call for the BC Eagles and clumps of tires game with now Trevor Lawrence.
Can Kobe that games wide open? Now? I still think Clemson will win, but I think it would be much closer to the one they originally would be at four laps to go.
And it doesn't look like lining up next to each other yet, so I don't know for **** for the restart or not just yet.
The man who caused the crash moments ago.
He started seventh at stage one.
He's finished fifth.
He finished 10th after stage two, and he's currently in second.
He has been very efficient all evening long, all right.
His truck is still on the sweet.
Had the three laps to go, we're just gonna have, like, a two lap sprint.
Is is that what we're doing? I think I think we might just have, like, a two lap sprint.
Absolute mayhem Was this race in Talladega that were Racing Martinsville.
Well, the lights came off on the Pacer truck. So now those stuff.
So, yeah, we're just gonna have to lapse of absolute chaos.
Here is what has come to my mind.
Like I said, the Pacer trucks lights are officially off.
He's taking the way outside.
Get out of the way as we are ready to go back to Green here.
Are we heading into overtime? Oh, no.
Trucks still out.
Ready to peel off, though, I'm sure.
Two laps roads and in finger and 1st and 2nd.
Then you have Ekeus unfreezing in 3rd and 4th and Smith and fifth, they go around. Turn four.
Here we go to lapse of mayhem here at Martinsville on the restart in finger gets a bump draft.
But roads goes to the outside in finger stays on the inside.
Now takes the lead heading down the back straightaway and finger pulls ahead of roads, roads, trucks going on the inside.
Only figure almost gets him. Millwall.
He maintains his balance now up in second, his echoes white flag is out in finger now remains in front roads going on the way inside again looking for second over their fingers, starting to pull away down the back straightaway.
Oh, my goodness.
Caution and roads almost got spun out.
Caution way in the back last lap.
It won't matter, and it is.
The horde ran in, Finger Comes Away and roads and Smith finishing a photo taking second place.
I believe they're going to give it a road.
Smith and third.
That was the fourth.
Matt Crafton fifth, raising six Bonus.
Seventh Creedon Age Sleep in ninth and Paris rounding out your top 10.
The Trevor Payne finishing 11th Lazard up.
The caution fish is in 20th.
Unfortunately for him.
Ran in finger gets the wind and the championship sponsored car.
And yeah, we had a huge wreck, it looked like in turn to but Zane Smith advances.
So Foul four championship.
What they'd importuning in and looks like in finger will do is little burn out, and we will head off here.
And that's how you complete 20 laps in 16 minutes and in finger.
She's gonna do a burnout.
What's he gonna dio is driving around near the back straightaway now, which is a smaller track up in their Ugo.
No, we're just gonna go.
There he goes Now he doesn't burn out, gets in front of the wall, and he will destroy those tires.
Let the smoke in front of the fortunate for the truck.
Siri's no fans in attendance, But, Yeah, I'm figure with a very convincing win.
Able to hold on in the final two laps.
There was a couple of crashes.
I mean, Ben Rhodes almost got wrecked as well, but he maintained balance.
He'll get second, but Yep, in finger is unofficial results, after all.
But yeah, they will give in finger the victory without a question as he really pulled away in the back straightaway with about two laps to go as a smoke.
It's still flying out of that truck, and also you gotta give a congrats just to Zane Smith, who started second on the pole.
He is now in the Final Four, which means he's still got a good shot at making the course, winning the NASCAR truck series championship things this year and thanks spurs with the aid and for the follow.
But that was a nice short broadcast, a nice finish.
If you're for Ben Rhodes, he cost the crash and he still came up short and he almost got crashed on the final lap.
The grand in finger share the same name.
So I got respect for him.
He gets the victory here tonight.
That was a fun one, for sure.
Well, I hope you guys enjoyed the broadcast.
Everybody, I'm Grand Flood from Flushing Sports don't have a good night.
Let's listen into this interview and I'll wrap up the broadcast.
We had just a good enough chances are putting that 0.50 to get it done.
It's been a open down season for us, but you know, we've tended picks when we made it.
Thio on now for a really good chance about our chances of Phoenix way had actually a really good truck after we get about five laps on it.
But those first few lives at the restart is really tough, so I do whatever hold him off back.
Member got jacked up a lot, Uh, just part of any DiMarzio limited fans.
I thought there wasn't any.
Okay, there's limited like a like a just been a crazy year, but way Matt Crafton way something up for you.
Uh, ready for 2021 at the end of the day.
I mean, these guys, $5 all year, junior and every one of these guys brought great truck coming way, didn't we? Did need to do is there that the first two stages and what we did, but they're that they're the embraces.
I mean, we rode, I guarantee more caution.
Hey, ain't wrong.
He moves on. No, that's good.
That's good pep talk, but he is not offend.
So we have shelter.
Angry Grant and finger breath.
Moffitt and Zane Smith your file for at the next next week for the title.
Well, I'll be on the call for it.
Well, good chance, especially since next week is wrapping up all NASCAR.
I'll probably be I'll probably gonna be on the call for the Xfinity Series race on Saturday.
Cause again next weekend.
It's probably be fully NASCAR because championship weekend am I right, the truck Siris for expanding.
And then obviously, Sunday, I'll be on the call.
All the races I can.
I think they're gonna be at Phoenix anyway, but definitely will be on the call, probably Friday for the truck Siri's and then definitely next Sunday for the final NASCAR race.
I can already tell you right now the actual NASCAR championship will either go to Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin.
I mean, congrats to Kyle Busch winning, but he got eliminated from the playoffs a couple of weeks ago, so you know that's not gonna do much.
But, you know, it was it was nice to cow Bush 11 but yeah, I think it's safe to say Hamlin and Harvick ultimately had appointing the actual NASCAR title.
But we guys enjoyed the broadcast.
I'm grand fluff.
Influx of sports on saying Have a good night grant and finger your champion or your winner, I guess, couldn't be champion my next week.
But as for tonight, here's your winner at Martinsville Motor Speedway.
