So we are going to recap What went down between the Packers and the Houston Texans agreement.
Packers beat the Houston Texans.
They moved to a record of five and one errant are in first place in the NFC North.
We will talk about how how the Packers did well against the Houston Texans, what they didn't do well and how they're gonna fair up against this week.
Eight opponent and the Minnesota Vikings, the division rival.
Last time the Packers play the Vikings was Week one.
The Green Bay Packers won, 43 to 34 but before we get in to the Packers matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
Let's first talk about the Week seven matchup.
Obviously, like I stated before and the Green Bay Packers, they won the game, but they won 35 to 20.
I'll go to you, Sam.
What were your thoughts on the Packers Texans game Week seven? I, I think I think one of the big performers is not only Davante Adams and Jamal Williams, but I was really impressed with secondary, and I love seeing players not named J.
Alexander really show out.
I'm talking about Raven Green and another one is Henry Black.
Henry Blacks First.
Henry Black was an undrafted free agent on the Baylor of the Packers, assigned his first tack, his first NFL tackles. The turnover.
Vernon Scott, late in the game, had some pretty nice had some nice place to and another one.
Another thing I'd like to point out for the defense is the run defense, and we've stressed this time and time again to of how the how much they've struggled.
It's really nice to see players not named Kenny Clarke really start to show up, and when Kenny Clarke was hurt, we saw some flashes of key things, like Kiki here and there, Um, as well as Tyler Lancaster mantra vis.
Adams had a pretty nice game to as well.
I was really impressed with the defense, and my friend brought up a good point on our podcast the other day.
And his winner of that game was like Mike Patton, because he one of his reasons he gave us because Mike Patton did a good job and utilize the secondary.
And I did a really nice job like how toe coach and utilize the secondary.
And I think I think now we're starting to see um, the production that Jerry Gray has helped developing coach these young players.
Yeah, I was also impressed what Kamal Martin was was able to dio in his first start.
There were a lot of high prices of Kamal Martin.
In fact, before you got hurt some we were even saying, like in the Packers.
Market has a good **** chance to start over Christian Kirksey.
He had a lot of high high potential, and he showed great moments, and I loved that we were able to hold the Shawn Watson, the company's Onley 20 points as a as a defense.
It was very impressive and it was a great bounce back, especially with the embarrassment that the Packers had against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
I mean, it was embarrassing, like the defense just basically got picked the part.
They couldn't stop the run.
They couldn't stop the past.
It was a bad overall performance by Mike Pet at his defense.
But I will say, Sam, you hit a lot of good points.
It was definitely a good bounce back game.
My pet definitely looked a lot better as a defensive corner and I hope he keeps this up.
You know, I hope it's one of those where maybe this is a turning point, you know, for my pen and this Green Bay Packers defense, because down down later in the schedule, they're gonna have some tough games.
You got the San Francisco 40 Niners on short rest, like you play the Vikings this Sunday.
But on the upcoming Thursday, you gotta play the 40 Niners in San Francisco.
So how are we gonna play against that? And we look at the Niners are starting to get healthy.
I mean, yes, they are in last place, but there are four and three team like the the only injuries that they pretty much have our tunic.
Boston, Solomon, Thomas The offense is starting to get slow, slowly getting getting healthy.
Obviously, I heard reports where he most of his back on the i r but you get back, as is Jeff Wilson.
But look at the Niners, they're still gonna be a threat.
I mean, they're still gonna be a team where it's not gonna be easy coming off.
A short rest will be interesting to see how agreement packers kind of attack that.
But before they have to attack the San Francisco 40 Niners, they have to verse the Minnesota Vikings.
And obviously, this is a much different Minnesota Vikings team, then, compared to a week one.
I mean, we even saw some NFL ****yst how crazy they were saying that this Vikings team could win the NFC North in week one, and obviously that dream was shot down as Aaron Rodgers and company put on an offensive performance for the ages 43 points, which I believe is our highest highest points we have scored so far this season at this point was 43 we still could even scored Mawr.
Uh, and and the and this Vikings team definitely looks much weaker.
Then they were in week one, especially with the resistant trade they traded.
Yet Goku, who what's funny with the Viking is they traded was a 2nd and 1/5 Reodica Ndukwe.
And then they ship them to Baltimore and almost got that same exact return.
So it was kind of like, Why would you make that trade in the first place when you when you trade them all these six or seven weeks into the regular season? And it's almost like it's a disaster for Minnesota we look at, they let a lot of guys go in the off season.
A lot of guys go, especially on that defense in the offseason, really trying to trust the young guys.
And it just simply has not worked out.
You know, the last in the NFC North.
I only have a one in five record.
Things are not looking too good, and I really love green based chances.
And in this game going up against the Minnesota Vikings, I'll direct that same question to you. Sam.
How much of the solid chance do you believe the Green Peppers have in this game? I You are totally right when you said this is a completely different Vikings team.
If if they if the Vikings still had Yannick, I would have easily told you Janek was the guy to stop.
I think the Packers put up 40 plus points again, again, again on this team and this.
This is completely different.
Vikings team, and the secondary is the secondary is the most struggling part of their team right now.
Mike Hughes is their oldest guy.
I don't even think Mike. He's practiced.
The other day when I last checked holding, Hill wasn't practicing Jeff Gladney, Cameron dancer like they're they're they're running for their corners.
They might have to rely on a guy like maybe Harrison Hand, Who was there other rookie they drafted later in the later rounds Because they drafted three corners they drafted, Um, Cameron Dance Lor, Jeff Gladney and Harrison Hand and Jeff Gladney was their first round pick.
Um, but this this secondary room is just really hurting, and you can like the status of that secondary.
They really needed Jerry Gray and I think that was one of the most underrated losses.
I shouldn't e don't want to say underrated losses.
I think it's a loss that nobody really talks about enough because the secondary room in Minnesota is really struggling right now.
Um and I think I'll just give away my score.
I think the Packers win 45 to 10.
Andi, I think my friend brought up this, um, 100.2.
I think we see Tim Boyle in the game and more than just kneel downs I maybe five minutes left in the game.
I think they I think they play.
I think they put in Tim Boyle.
Andi, um, the I I mentioned this to you, too, is the Packers always seemed to let teams come back late in the fourth quarter.
They did it last week against the Texans, and it was frustrating.
Steve, Um, I don't think that's gonna be the case for this For this Vikings team, I have absolutely no worries.
I don't really think I'll probably say maybe a guy like Eric Kendricks to stop for the Vikings defense because I don't want to say anyone like Harrison Smith, because their secondary is so depleted and they're gonna be there gonna be relying on guys like in Harrison Smith and Anthony Harris all game, and I think Davante Adams is and I think he's a I think he very well could have another field day against this Viking secondary.
Yeah, I 100% agree with you as well, I believe.
I mean, Davante Adams puts up 196 yards against the Houston Texans secondary.
Imagine going up against the Minnesota Vikings secondary.
This could be this could be a game where it could be a historic okay for Davante Adams. I mean, we're talking.
He could maybe get 200 yards, 200 receiving yards, just just alone just by himself.
But then again, you could think of.
If you're Minnesota, you just have to double devante and kinda let the other guys beat you.
So I mean, Mike Zimmer.
He's still a smart coach.
He's a He's a good defensive mind.
He's going to find a way to try and limit the Montag's production, but it's gonna be very hard, especially when last time when last time these two teams played Davante, Adams was targeted 17 times, caught 14 passes still had over 150 yards and two touchdowns.
So even then the party has had a big game.
So he is going to be a guy where everyone is going to be on the lookout.
Especially for that Viking banked up secondary, which that kind of leads into my next question.
Who is gonna be your offensive MVP for the Green Bay? Green Bay Packers? Are? I'll stay.
I'll go with my case.
I was going to go with Erin Jones, both due to the fact that he is in active for this game today.
On Sunday, I'm actually going to go with the with the Vonta Adams.
I went with Aaron Rodgers last weekend, and it was a phenomenal pick because Rodgers had four touchdowns, no pics had, I believe, close to 300 yards, 300 throwing yards.
So that was a good pick on my part.
But I mean, like you said Sam Davante Adams, it could very well have a potentially historic game.
He could very well be in the running for maybe a 200 yard type of game.
That's how that's how much I believe in to Montana, saying Aaron Rodgers is going to give him his target.
So I mean, you look at even against the Houston Texans.
I believe he was targeted 16 times and he called almost every single pass for 196 yards and two touchdowns.
So I expect the same kind of performance for Davante Adams, and I just simply want to hear what you have said.
Who do you have as your offensive MVP for the Green Bay Packers? I wanted to pick Davante Adams as well, but I'm going to go away and I don't wanna put the same one is you? Um, but you make a great case.
I think that's very I think it's a very obvious one. Thio.
I'm gonna go Jamal Williams and you.
You just said earlier that Jamal Williams be before we went on the air that Jamal, where Erin Jones is out.
I think Jamal Williams hasn't even better week than he does this week and I think we we've had conversations, multiple conversations about the off season.
I think I think I think the Packers off season is going to be a very, very interesting one and once we get later on down the road in this title town show.
That will be a very interesting, UM, a few episodes that we have here, but because I think we went to see some guys resigned, Um, that fans, they're gonna be surprised about that. We're keeping.
And I think one of those names might end up being Jamal Williams because Luke Neil is his trainer.
Jamal Williams is trainers Luke Neil, who also trends with Rojo.
Ronald Jones from the Buccaneers running back um and Luke Neil said Luke Neal said, um, one of the biggest things that, um, one of the one of the biggest things traits and skill set that Jamal Williams worked on this offseason was his route running.
Jamal Williams, I think, is one of the best pass catchers in the NFL.
As a running back.
I think he's I would argue he's in the top three.
I think James White, you could argue probably better.
I would say James White might might be the best pass catcher.
I wouldn't rank this guy ahead of him, but I think to read Cohen's a very underrated to pass catcher in the NFL for as a running back.
I think we're going to continue Thio Seymour, Jamal Williams in the passing game as well, and I've got Jamal Williams.
That's definitely an interesting approach there, and I wouldn't I would agree through as well.
I think Jamal Williams could have a potential tohave and even better game just because I mean, we look, at least the Texas had some ancestors.
They had guys like, Why Whitney Mercilus for Minnesota.
It's kind of Who else you got? I mean, Pierce off it out before the season started.
You don't have to kneel Hunter anymore.
You don't have ever since Griffin you just recently or Anthony Bar.
Yeah, and you just traded unique and got away to the Baltimore Ravens.
So Jamal Williams could very well have have a field day as well, which then moves into the other side of the ball, the defense of side of the ball.
I want to hear what player you have, Sam.
Who do you believe is gonna be the defense of M.
P for the agreement Packers this game against the Minnesota Vikings? Um, this one.
To me, this is the first person I thought of.
And as you were kind of talking, I've got Kenny Clarke, and the biggest issue is I'm willing to bet you in the draft, even to the Vikings.
It's looking like they very well could have a top 10 pick in the draft.
I'm willing to bet you they don't take a quarterback because I think I think an offensive line is one of their biggest issues on their team right now.
Other than their defense other than their secondary, I would say there's secondaries number one s.
So don't be surprised if they go after a corner like Sean waiter Caleb Barley or Patrick Cer Tain if he somehow falls to them.
Um, but a corner, I would say Secondary room.
The cornerbacks is a big need for them, obviously Edge rusher D line and then the offensive line.
That offensive line is just absolutely atrocious for them, and I think Kenny Clarke puts on a show I've got.
Kenny Clarke is my defensive player.
That's definitely a good choice as well.
I would agree with you as well, but I am going to be different as well.
As much as I love saying my guys with Darius Smith, I'm gonna go gyre Alexander.
I feel like It's gonna be interesting to see what the Green Bay Packers do with J.
Do they put him up against Justin Jefferson, who has been on the come up as a rookie receiver, which you and I kind of predicted, what happened? Or are they gonna lock him up on Adam feeling on when we look at J.
Alexander? He has had some fantastic games.
I mean, when he was guarding Calvin Ridley against the Falcons, he held on to zero catches, zero yards on five targets, and even even last week, whenever he guarded any receiver against the Texans, he locked him up.
So I I got drier Alexander for this game just because I feel like whoever the agreement Packers decided to put him on.
Whatever my does, whether it's on Justin Jefferson or Adams dealing, I expect that receiver to not have a good game because I mean, you look at yeah, Justin Jefferson.
He's been on the come up.
He's been on the rise the last couple of games, which Sam and I actually predicted.
When we were talking about the Vikings, we expected Jefferson to be kind of excel ing as I receiver by about midway through the season, and women went through the season.
So it will be a shame to see where Mike Pet puts gyre Alexander.
And he's such a talented corner.
Whether they decide the approach of you know what, we're gonna we're gonna have Jaia Alexander guard Adam feelin shut him down.
And if they simply beat us with Justin Jefferson, so be it.
Or they could go with the route of you know what we think Justin Jefferson has more to offer.
Let's put gyre on Justin Jefferson and whoever our next best corner is, just simply pick him up on feeling in.
They're Kirk cousins to use his arm toe beat us because of my personal opinion, the main guy to worry about which we will eventually discuss later on.
I think the main focus is gonna be trying to stop the album Cook.
I think that's gonna be the main focus for the Green Bay Packers toe Lim limit the Vikings at all.
But my defensive my defensive MVP will be gyre Alexander just because he has the ability toe walk, any receiver up toe have basically no game at all.
I think I'm gonna watch is, um, because Kevin King is also out. I just read.
Not only is Erin Jones up, but Kevin King is also out.
So I think another player to watch for that secondary, um, is Josh Jackson.
Josh Jackson's another guy that's nearing the end of his rookie deal.
He is. He is fighting.
I think he's fighting for a contract.
If I remember correctly, he's either done this. Siri's.
I think he's done this year. He's either done this year.
Next year I want he was.
He was drafted in the same draft classes. Gyre Alexander.
Yeah, so I think I think next year, Yeah, But again, though, that's another guy.
That's like he's fighting at this point like he's almost nearing the year where he's considered a bust.
And I refused to believe that Josh Jackson's a bust and we've seen what he was able to dio at Iowa.
We saw him go off against the Badgers.
I think this is going to be a very interesting game because the Packers, I don't think the Vikings fair up that well against the Packers.
I think this is gonna be another blowout.
Another 40 plus point match up.
I mentioned 45 to 10 is my final score with the Packers winning Kevin Kings out Aziz well as Erin Jones.
So I think this is another big game for Josh Jackson to really start making those big leaps forward into his progression.
Yeah, definitely, is that I want to Seymour Mawr of Josh Jackson like, because it could be a scenario where if Josh Jackson exceeds expectations and does, well, maybe the Green Bay Packers, we're gonna look at Kevin King and say, You know what? You've been injury prone your whole career.
Yeah, you had a great 2019 but you could have followed up.
We're gonna let you walk in free agency because we believe in Josh Jackson more than you.
And then we're gonna maybe draft the corner guy with the first or second round pick and kind of go from there, but definitely going to be interesting to see how well Josh Jackson does.
I think Josh Jackson is going to do well.
We could very well see Josh Jackson.
Do you mash up with Justin Jefferson? Just because Adam feeling is such a solid receiver? I think you can't match him up against Josh, 11 on one, maybe some place, but definitely not the whole game.
Like the whole game.
I think you put Jr on feeling and simply go go from there and then just put Josh Jackson as as a guy.
Hey, Josh, just go up against the rookie Justin Jefferson.
If you could shut him down, then all will be well.
Let's move on to the other team.
The other side of the equation, that is the Minnesota Vikings.
We look at their one in five, obviously a much different team compared to last year.
Last year they went 10 and six.
They were the 60.
They beat New Orleans in the Superdome, eventually losing to the NFC champion San Francisco 40.
Niners and everything so far this season has gone downhill.
They lost guys on the defense deal Hunter the whole season.
Anthony Bar no longer have ever seen Griffin.
Pierce opted out.
They traded. Yet it got away.
Not even eight weeks into the season, and it has been a disaster for the Minnesota Vikings things.
But what is one thing the Minnesota Vikings can do Sam to have a chance that winning this game.
Obviously, you have the package winning 45 to 10.
But if there's a chance that the Vikings could win, what is the one thing that they have to do? Uh, well, Delvin Cook? Actually, just They just announced Dalvin Cook a while ago is playing.
He was dealing with the groin injury, but they need more than just Delvin Cook to win this game they need.
They need people on all they need players on all parts of their offense to show on.
You just mentioned Josh Jackson was has been showing out.
This might be a bold prediction, but James thinks this Dio James is really high on Justin Jefferson as the Vikings fan.
I think Justin Jefferson is gonna eventually be the number one wide receiver in Minnesota, and I think Justin Jefferson is gonna be better than Stefon Diggs was.
Stefon Diggs was a very talented wide receiver, obviously, the Minneapolis Miracle.
Stefon Diggs. Very talented.
There's a reason why he's putting up the numbers.
He is over in Buffalo.
Yeah, obviously does a better quarterback in Josh Allen, but there's a reason why, um, there's a reason why he's balling out and It's more than just him having a good quarterback.
Um, but I I personally think that Justin Jefferson is gonna be better than Stefon Diggs.
He's the future of that Minnesota receiving corps.
But like I said, they need more than just Delvin Cook to show out, um, they need they need to exceed to excel in both the run and the passing game.
Yeah, 100% just rely on Dalvin.
Cook is being their workhorse running back.
Yeah, and I would also add on to add on to the point that you just said, I think they have to get pressure to Aaron Rodgers.
They have to make Aaron Rodgers for pressure toe, throw the ball quicker.
I mean, we saw Tampa Bay do that against Rogers.
And what happens you through two picks, one of them being a pick six, another one, eventually resulting in next touchdown drive.
So I mean, that's 14 points off turnovers right there.
If you're Minnesota, you want a chance to win this game.
You have to obviously get double cook involved.
Dalvin Cook, in my opinion, needs to have 100 yard type of game, multiple touchdowns, and you need to have the defense to make big place, but it's gonna be very hard for them to do that.
But your defense needs to stay consistent.
And it can't just be an offensive game for the Vikings.
Yeah, I definitely can't just be an offensive game.
They have to rely on the defense as well.
Let's move on to players that that were mostly that we're most concerned with.
If you were to go to the Minnesota Vikings on the offensive side of the ball, who would you be most concerned with? So I was gonna go Dalvin cook, and I'm gonna I'm gonna keep Dalvin cook.
Um, because we stopped Dalvin Cook Week one.
But Dalvin Cook is Dublin cooks the top five running back on the NFL.
Um, but I think another person you could also say is Justin Jefferson, especially the fact that I said earlier that Kevin King is out.
I wouldn't be surprised if they end up lining up Josh Jackson up against Jefferson.
Um, because I think Adam feelings going to get to a point in his career because he's in his thirties right now.
He's going to get to a point in his career.
He's going to accept his role in the team he's going.
He's going to accept being that second option behind Justin Jefferson.
It might not happen now, obviously his Jefferson's rookie season, but I think Johnson Jefferson's another kind of watch.
But I'm gonna go with Dell and cook for Martin.
I would have to agree with you as well.
I think it's gonna be Dalvin Cook.
I feel like the only way how the Minnesota Vikings okay and potentially win this game is if Dalvin Cook does good, gets agreement Packers, and we were able to hold Dalvin Cook in Week one.
Granted, he did have two rushing touchdowns, but he didn't even crack 60 yards.
I believe we hold them toe like 50 for like, 54 56 rushing yards, so I feel like if we can have that same game plan, just focus all in on Dalvin.
Cook shut him down.
I think we'll be good.
And if Kirk Cousins beats us with his arms, so be it.
You know, that's just one of those where you have to just tip your hat off the Kirk cousins for having ah, good game for once But on the offensive side of the ball, I would say the main guy to stop is Dalvin Cook.
Let's move on to the defense of side of the ball.
I'll ask you this question, saying, Who do you believe is your most concerning player on the Vikings defense? I think I'm gonna go with Eric Kendricks on this one.
Um, I didn't wanna pick anyone from their secondary just because their cornerbacks, they're like they're hurting right now.
They're struggling with injuries, staying healthy.
Um, and I don't I think, I think, relying on Anthony Harris or Harrison Smith.
I think that's going to be too much, especially with the fact that they have.
They have young corners and they have their They're gonna be having close to inexperienced corners playing on that field because we won.
We saw rookie Cameron dance lor I haven't checked recently.
Haven't checked today.
The injury report for the Vikings yet, um, yet today, but I'm gonna go with Eric Kendricks.
Um, there really isn't a player on the Vikings, this Vikings defense right now that I'm, like, really, really concerned about, But I think if I had to pick one, um, I would say I would say Eric Kendricks, but I think looking at the Packers offensive line, I think they definitely had a bounce back game against the Texans coming from, um, from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game two weeks ago.
But find a pick.
What? I think I would go, Um, I think I would go Eric Kendricks.
And I think, um, al Mazar came back off the IR.
He won't be eligible to play early three weeks, but NBS obviously, Robert time.
And we have pieces to the passing game.
I think we can stop.
Um, that Viking secondary.
So I think if I had to pick one, I would go Eric Kendricks.
But I'm not really afraid of this Vikings defense at all, but yeah, mhm, Definitely interesting.
Take their I'm actually going to go with with the Harrison Smith, I believe Harrison Smith.
I feel like he could be a kind of guy where if Minnesota dials up the blitz, you could make a big hit on Rogers and it could change the entire game.
And I personally believe that Harrison Smith is gonna be a guy that Mike Zimmer is going to use to the fullest extent.
We're going to see them and pass coverage.
We're going to see him.
Maybe when they double team to Monte Adams.
You put Harrison Smith right there as well toe help out.
Maybe you just give him, like, a good swipe on Adams and kind of go from there.
But I I believe Harrison Smith is gonna be my defense of guy to watch for just because he's utilized so much in the defense, whether it is guarding, guarding the past, whether it's trying to stop the run, using him on a safety blitz.
No, Harrison Smith is gonna be a guy to watch out for on the field if you're the agreement Packers offense.
In fact, Aaron Rodgers is gonna look to see.
All right, where's Where's Harrison Smith? Just because I don't want to make a quick Roto put my receiver in jeopardy because Harris is with Glade big hit or, if you could play lurking coverage, don't wanna throw it where he could make a big play.
A big interception toe changed the whole momentum off this game because it very well could be a situation where maybe Green Bay is a big but If Minnesota's defense could make one big play, maybe they could have momentum and get back into this game.
So we're trying to see what happens there.
To our honest opinion on if the agreement Packers will win this game, Sam, you're very high on the agreement Packers win in this game.
You gave your score prediction off 45 to 10 and I have to agree with you as well.
I am very high Green Bay Packers going into this game, and I believe they're gonna win this game as well.
I'll even give out, give out my score predictions as well.
So Sam score prediction like I mentioned before and it was 45 10.
I think it's gonna be slightly a little closer.
I still think Green Bay bulls them out, but I think it's gonna be 38 I believe is going to be 38 to 20.
I mean, I know it's only in an 18 point game, but I'm still a bit skeptical on how we stop Darwyn Cooke.
I think Donovan Cook will be the only reason why they get 20 points.
I don't think it will be a successful defensive game for my pathetic company.
They don't get around like even though, like a lot of 20 points.
If you allow 20 points as the NFL defense, that's very **** impressive, especially with how good this Green Bay offense has been.
I mean, we look at.
In the last six games we played, Green Bay Packers have scored 30 plus points, six in five out of six games.
And guess what? When we scored 30 plus points, we win all those games.
So the recipe for Green Bay, if we could get 30 plus points, I think we'll be in very good business and we could stop Dalvin Cook.
I think we're going to do great things.
So my final score is going to be 38 to 20.
Sam's final score is gonna be 45 to 10.
And let's let's talk about trade deadline.
So if you're the Green Bay Packers Sam, the trade deadline is looming.
Who do you go after? Do you go after a guide to help out the defense, or do you try to give Aaron Rodgers another weapon in the offense? So I think this might be a very unpopular opinion.
My son did uphold dairy sports mine with.
I think the Packers should go out and trade for a defense of linemen over a wide receiver, and the reason I say that is because look at the game against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Atlanta Falcons game is a prime reason how like we had Davante, Adams and Alma's are both out, and we were still able to produce as an elite offense.
And even after the draft, Goot was saying he produced.
He expressed Ah, lot of faith in the current wide receiver room.
The top of my wish list right now is Quentin Williams from the Jets.
I think the fact that he's still he's still on his rookie contract to.
So I think that's also a huge, huge plus for the Packers, and I can't imagine the I mean they.
Actually, I shouldn't say that They I think I read.
I read a while ago.
They wanted more than a second round pick.
It's Quentin Williams.
You pair up Kenny Clarke with Quentin Williams.
That defensive line is a massive upgrade and I love right now that we're seeing both like starting to see guys like Mark Travis, Adams Tyler Lancaster, Kingsley, Kiki really see like a little like some more flashes with out of them, even whether Kenny Clarke is or is not on the field, Aziz for a wide receiver.
I think it would obviously make a lot of sense.
I like Will Fuller.
I think Will Fuller makes a lot of sense.
The big, big deal breaker for me for Will Fuller is his injury history.
Jamison Crowder would be awesome to have.
Look what he's been able to do with the Jets.
I really don't think Sam Donald's the problem there.
Sam Donald is not the problem.
Sam Donald doesn't have a does.
He does not have a good supporting cast.
I can't stay healthy.
Um, Russian Perriman, I think, is talented.
But I think he's out against the Chiefs.
Um, Crowder might be out.
I think Crowder might be out.
I think Denzel Mims might be one of the start.
One of the targets I haven't read on Braxton burials yet this week, Um, for the Jets injury report yet, But my receiver, I think my my receiver that I would go for I like Marvin Jones, a lot, and I like the big body receivers.
And we still will still have Devin Funchess for next season because I don't if I remember correctly, I don't think the opt out counts towards the contract and we still have Alma's ARD and, um, Davante Adams.
We we need we need a we a true slot receiver.
I'm not saying Marvin Jones possesses that, but Marvin Jones, to me, possesses mawr of a shorter, shorter guy.
And we need rapid speed.
Mark MVS and e que Browner The only guys I run under a four or five on this Packers receiver room.
Um, I think Davante Adams, I think, is between a 45 and a 46 If I if I remember correctly or somewhere around there because I know Davante Adams is not, um, under a 45 I'm sure he's definitely improved on that.
But the last time I checked, Avanti Adams was not under a 45 which obviously I like even John Ross is now in the block.
But Marvin Jones is one of my top targets.
Um, I think Randall Cobb would make a lot of sense to I I think Randall Cobb is also kind of realistic, too.
But the big deal breaker for Randall Cobb is the financial situation.
He's not getting overpaid.
I don't have the contract at the top of my head, but I know he is getting paid a decent amount of money on day.
The the only the only, like, Look, look what Matt The Flora got hired that the floor did everything he could to get rid of the past Green Bay Packers.
He kept my cousin, which I think, I think at that point, my pet deserved a shot.
And I think Mike, Mike Patton the pack because of the top 10 defense right now in the NFL.
And I think Mike Patton is really starting to prove himself why he's why he's still capable of being the Packers long term defensive coordinator.
I was really surprised to see if the Packers kept him, But, um, with the defense that we have, it's really nice to see that obviously were starting to be more consistent and especially the secondary like I alluded to earlier on guys that besides J.
Alexander, they're starting to show out like Raven Green, Vernon Scott, Henry Black, even Kevin King, before he got hurt? Uh huh.
Bye, I would say, But the top of my wish list is Quentin Williams.
I would go Marvin Jones and Jamison Crowder, another defensive line that I would really like.
I think this makes a lot of sense, especially from a financial standpoint, because he's on Lee on a one year, $33 million deal with the Denver Broncos and that Shelby Harris.
But couldn't Williams at the top of my wish list my own popular opinion? I think I think the Packers should go after a defensive line over a wide receiver.
But I also wouldn't be too surprised that the Packers don't do anything.
And I think if the Packers do something, do you end up doing something, making a trade or move? I don't think it's gonna be anyone big, Um, and what the Will Fuller makes a lot of sense, too, because Will Fuller is still on his rookie contract.
And if you could get guys like Wolf, Fuller or Corn and Williams at their level, uh, still on a rookie contract, I think that's huge and I love Marvin Jones.
I should say love Marvin Jones, but I like him a lot.
I've told you about his inconsistency at times, but he's got so much potential if you give him healthy quarterback.
And, like Matthew Stafford is very talented.
Matthew Stafford with second best quarterback in the NFC North, and I know it's not that big of a, um, competition outside of Aaron Rodgers.
Um, but Matthew Stafford, unfortunately, can't stay healthy.
Um, but if you if you give if you give Marvin Jones a talented Aziz, well as a healthy quarterback, he could be lethal.
And I've got Marvin Jones for my wide receiver and Quentin Williams for my defensive line and Shelby Harris Jamison Crowder.
Definitely a good points there and clarify for your Randall Cobb contract.
He signed a three year, $27 million deal with Houston containing $18.
75 billion and guarantees so definitely high contract to absorb the Green Bay Packers.
Do want to trade for Randall Cobb, but to name off a couple of players here is that I would hope the Green Bay Packers would acquire.
I actually agree with that savings like the list I would I would love for the Green Bay Packers toe acquire Quentin Williams because can you imagine Quentin Williams still on his rookie contract with Kenny Clarke, who just recently got his extension? So it's not like you have to pick one guy or the other.
You already extended Clark.
You get quitting Williams right next to the and don't get me wrong.
I love what one tributes Adams and Kiki has done as well as title Lancaster.
But if you have a chance to get acquainted, Williams to pair up with Kenny Clarke.
You do that 10 times out of 10.
And I believe if we if the agreement Packers make that move, they're Runde.
Defense instantly gets better on the spot like we're talking instant instant upgrade.
From that scenario on the front two and then on the edges, you still got the Smith Brothers and Darius, but the press and Smith.
Hopefully, Preston Smith gets better during the season, which I believe he will and scenarios.
Smith keeps up his his potential defensive player of the year case, which I don't think he will.
But he could be one of those guys where, if you want mentioned defensive player of the year, Big Z could make could make a run, could make a run towards defensive player of the year.
But main guide hope for definitely quitting Williams.
And if they go for an offensive route, I would love for them to get Marvin Jones.
Marvin Jones is a shifty receiver.
He's the kind of guy where he makes hey could make a to three year catch, but then turn that into a 78 year game.
He's that shift you have a guy kind of reminds me of Davante Adams.
You know, he Davante Adams.
He could run a quick slant to three yards.
Turns out into a 10 15 yard game.
He could turn a short play into a big game, so we have to see what happens.
Then tell me about I would love for the group package. You get Wolf Fuller.
But I also agree in the same sense.
The dude is always hurt.
It's one of those where I would hate for the agreement.
Packers to trade for Wolf Fuller.
She would obviously set out a week because of the Kobe Protocol and then on top that he gets back, he's hurt and then he's out for four weeks, and then it's like, Why would e? I don't think I'd be upset about that if they sign.
If they went and traded for him.
Um, not only at the right price, because I I don't think Wolf Fuller is going to be a massive amount of their massive amount for the Packers to give up.
Um, but to me, I would rather see other receiver.
I would want Marvin Jones and Jamison Crowder.
Um, Jamison Crowder would be huge.
But I'll tell you this, though, I would rather go out and trade for Will Fuller than go out and trade for Zach Ertz.
I They were reports that came out.
The Packers made an offer for Zach Ertz before he was on the I R.
And I'm not saying, um no, because he what? Because he's on the I R.
No, because I I don't think the tight end position is as big of a problem as it's put out to be.
Yes, Josiah Jaguar is hurt.
I think the tight end position is is a A a somewhat of a level of concern, but there definitely are bigger holes that we have to fill, and I think the defense of line and the wide receiver position.
I think we should be looking at to both of those positions before we should be even looking at the tight end position.
Yeah, definitely, as well.
Another receiver that I think would be an interesting ad for agreement.
Packers is Kenny Stills.
I think I think any stills could be another receiver where if Green Bay does go the route of adding another weapon for Aaron Rodgers, Kenny Stills could be a guy where he, when he was in Miami, he was a perfect kind of note number two guy like to pair up with, like the monthly Parker and Company.
He was a good number two guy, even with Houston last year, when they had got your Hopkins, you could rely on Kenny Stills being being a good number two or number three guy.
I think if Green Bay makes a move for Kenny Stills, you bring him in with Our lives are being healthy.
You could put in Kenny Stills as kind of like in a Devon punches roll like before Funches off and out Bunches with a guy who could be like a number two or number three guy.
You trade for Kenny Stills.
He could be that Number two number three guy, depending on where Green Bay wants to put him.
And knowing Matt LaFleur, he's a great offensive mind.
He'll he'll find a way to get to get guys involved.
I mean, we've seen receivers kinda evolved to be great.
So which we've never seen.
Like how those are before he got hurt, he was on pace to have a good a great solid season, even mvs Marquez vadas scamming.
He has shown some solid flashes of being great.
So it will be interesting to see what happens if Green Bay goes after cancer cells.
And I also love how you added.
I believe you said it was Shelby Harris.
Correct? Yeah, I would also love to have Shelby Harris, especially because, like you said and one year cheap deal, if you can't, I feel like if they want to go defensive line if they can't get Quentin Williams, I think Shelby Ares is a great Plan B option to go after because we're talking.
That's a cheap deal.
You know, he could be a guy where you're like all right, Let's go all in with Shelby Harris.
Let's try a bank on a deep playoff run.
If we go on a deep run, then you know what show fears.
We thank you for your services.
We got other players or worry about, like Bachtiar e like Lindsey, like other players were not gonna bring you back.
If you want the same chief veteran deal, we'll bring you on.
But if you want more money, you're gonna go elsewhere.
So that would be something that I would love for Green Bay to do during the trade deal in and and hopefully they're active.
But I could also agree on the same storyline, sama.
They could also be a team where they might just like the pieces that they have, you know? I mean, you look at Green Bay is one of those teams were not in trouble.
We're not a team.
Were like, Oh my God, we're three and four, You know, the walls air caving in.
You know, our season not going is playing.
No, we're five and one when first place in the NFC North, the number one seed in the NFC.
So is just one of those what the recent moves the NFC has made.
Like like with the Seattle Seahawks and the kind of team that they have with Tampa Bay adding Antonio Brown on the roster.
You just hope Green Bay kinda adds another piece just to kind of keep up with those other teams at the same time.
Like, Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the Packers and I'm not doing anything but the same time they look at the Ravens like that.
You could tell the Ravens are building their team to stop the Chiefs because the only really the only team that have that, like, is sitting right in front of us.
A threat is that is the Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers, because I think the Pittsburgh Steelers are legit.
Um, because I look at looking with run defense did last year, and you mentioned earlier like we're gonna have Allen's are back.
We're gonna have Davante Adams, a fully healthy island Lazard in MVS, which I think a lot of people are.
Um, I think a lot of people are still on the fence about him because look, look at the look at the history of the Packers wide receiver position, the history, the Packers wide receivers that took a while to develop.
Davante Adams, Jordy Nelson, James Jones.
And I think that's what they're waiting for with NBS.
Because MBS has so much potential, they have yet to unlock it.
And e que brown I I love you.
Brown Um, but it's really unfortunate that you can't stay healthy.
He is full of healthy.
I'm hoping we see a little bit more from him this week.
Um, Kenny Stills is interesting to me because when he was first trade to Houston, we saw a little bit of flash from him.
We saw a little bit of big place from him, some of them, and but then, like after, like, a few games into the season, we didn't see much from him and like, Yeah, he might have been hurt some of the time.
But when he was healthy, we didn't see a ton from him like this was before they had before they traded for David Johnson.
Um and like, yeah, it was It was it was the DeAndre Hopkins show.
And like Lawrence, actually, Lawrence made a really, really good point when he said You could obviously tell that where where do Shawn Watson was throwing because he was pointing Thio like you could tell the angle that he was throwing up because it was literally to the best wide receiver in the NFL and DeAndre Hopkins and the key made of Really? Because, like, I haven't heard anyone say that where in terms off, getting rid of Deandra happens will make this Shawn Watson a better player, because then he has Mawr guys to rely on arm or than just one more than just one person, one player in DeShaun Watson to rely on Kenny Stills.
Interesting to me.
Um, I don't I mean, I think he would be out of all the broader Seaver's that we talked about.
I think he would be the least.
I don't think he would.
I think he would be the least amount to give up for him.
Another player, Um, he was recently cut, and I think he would be really interesting to bring in on even either a practice squad deal or a, um, a cheap minimum deal.
And that's Don Tari Po.
Donta Repo was cut by the Cowboys yesterday.
Uh, yeah, ones was yesterday.
Wednesday was Yeah, one of those days.
One Wednesday, Wednesday.
Um, because he was cut in.
Someone else was cut as well.
I don't recall who it was from the Baikonur from the Cowboys, but even if you bring him in like, yeah, like he's past his prime.
But if you could bring him in and you sign him, you don't have to give up anything for him because he's already on the free agent market.
You bring him in either on a practice squad deal or a cheap a minimum deal, like near somewhere.
That's like a Shelby Harris deal.
Like the one year, $3.
And you get him to produce at least, like, somewhat of the skill set that he was able to produce prior and get him to his level of consistency again.
That will. That will be huge on.
I would not mind Don Tari poet all either.
Yeah, you made a great point.
I would love the agreement package to get Don Terry pose.
Well, heck, I would even say if you want Thio.
If you could trade for Quinn Williams going trade for Quentin Williams, then why not add Don Terry Po alongside with that, if you wanted to, because then you could have Don Terry Po.
Is that backup option to where you know he's a guy who, if you need, can require to rest us someplace you put in Dante Repo.
You'll be just fine.
So all those where Dante Repo would be a phenomenal option for the agreement Packers to go and get because, I mean, we look, it's not like Green Bay.
They just sit around and stuff.
We were very aggressive on trying to get David Harrison as well snacks before he went, but before he went to the Seahawks.
So Green Bay is one of those teams where this isn't like the Ted Thompson era, where we kind of sit back later.
Guys love no good.
I showed that he is aggressive, like he will go after and try and get trade like like even though Khalil Mack is on the Bears.
The Green Bay was the 2nd 2nd team in the running.
Like the Raiders had to choose between Green Bay or Chicago.
They chose Chicago.
We were in the runnings with with Harrison.
It was between Seattle or Green Band.
He decided to go in Seattle.
So even with the reasons accuracy, even though why would we need to tight end? He is.
Guru is throwing the Green Bay Packers name out there as a team where they couldn't make a run.
So yeah, I mean, I love I love what good is doing.
Uh, we trust love the players that he's bringing in.
I love the draft that he did this year, even though a lot of people look at this draft and say, Why would you take joy in love with the first round pick? You look at the other solution that they have The A J.
Dillan, who is going to make a big impact with Eric Jones being inactive, decided to Guara before he got hurt, was looking well, and even the offensive lineman that they drafted in this draft, like with with Bachtiar e being injured with Blaga no longer being there, those office of lives that we drafted, they could be put in on wherever you want and you know it'll be interesting what Green Bay has ever dio.
Hopefully they make a case for John Terry poem and you look at If you're John Terry Po.
In general, you're starting to get up there in age.
Green Bay is a team that could make a deep run in the playoffs and potentials.
Who will run if I'm Don Terry Po? I looked at the Green Bay Packers and say, All right, I got released from the Dallas Cowboys, which was, which was a disaster of the team.
Do I really want to go to a team where they just only offered me a position just to play when I'm not on a winning team? Or do I want to go to a team like agreement Packers, where we have one of the greatest quarterbacks and Aaron Rodgers and we have a legit chance to make a run of the school? Because we look at Green Bay there, there are very few you could put above the Green Bay Packers like, in my honest opinion, I think the only teams that you could put above Green Bay are Kansas City, Baltar floor, maybe Pittsburgh and maybe Tampa.
But that's about it.
Like it's It's a small number like it's a small number of teams that you could put over the agreement Packers.
And if John Terry Po wants to compete.
Why? Why not go to the Green Bay Packers? Helps stuff the run and essentially making the agreement Packers a much better team there.
There's two more names and one of them.
We betrayed for him.
One of them we would go out and sign, and they're both defensive lineman as well.
The first one is Gino Atkins.
Gino Atkins is another guy that's getting up there in age.
Carlos Dunlap was just treated the other day to the Seattle Seahawks, and if I'm not mistaken, I think they want to be movers for they wanna look toe, I think.
Were they looking to move Gino Atkins? I'm not really sure, e.
I think they were.
Geno Atkins would be great to have and he, like I said, he's getting up there in age.
I can't imagine they're gonna ask for a ton of assets.
And the the Bengals have a lot of holes to fill, and their defense is in big rebuild mode.
Their offense has there there.
Um, it's looking like their offense very well has their franchise quarterback obviously hasn't been a full season yet, but Joe Burrow looks very promising.
They have Tee Higgins for their future.
They have Tyler Boyd.
I think Tyler Boyd is one of the most underrated wide receivers in the NFL.
Um, they still have ought intake because they don't have John Ross anymore.
But A. J. Green.
The A J. Green's playing for his contract.
Um, Geno Atkins would be great toe have.
And like I said again, the Bengals have a lot of holes to fill and what they want.
I think the Packers have a lot of what they could.
They could use another player.
Then we could go out and sign.
This player was also cut by the Dallas Cowboys a while ago.
And that's Gerald McCoy.
Gerald Gerald McCoy was on the Panthers before his short tenure with the Cowboys.
Yeah, well, you got hurt. Yeah.
Yeah. Gerald McCoy got hurt.
Isn't he always young for the year? I think so.
Here, let me let me check on the Gerald McCoy injury, but I think it's a season ending.
I think it is your right.
Then I know he got hurt.
I didn't really I didn't know if it was major or not, but because they thought it was It was a tour tour.
I'll say this, though.
Like, ah, healthy Gerald McCoy would be McCoy would be.
Obviously, he'd probably still be on the Cowboys.
But even if I'm the Cowboys, I don't think they I think I don't think Gerald McCoy, um, would be the difference.
That would be one of the different a difference maker, the difference maker, I should say for that team, and I would still go out and try to get Gerald McCoy if he was healthy, but I totally forgot that he had a season ending injury.
But, um, Cheeto Atkins, I think, is another great great player to trade for.
Um, and I think the Packers do trade for someone.
We might not expect it to be anyone big.
We went out on son Seth Roberts to the practice squad who was recently cut by the Panthers.
I don't expect him to make a big impact.
Um, but if he can at least produce something, um, that will be very crucial because outside of Davante, Adams, right now with Alma's, are just coming out of the I r off the I R R wide receiver positions hurting, and I wouldn't be surprised it off.
We do end up going to trade for a wide receiver, almost even even over a defensive line, because I mentioned earlier that we're starting to see more guys not named Kenny Clarke that are starting to produce more.
Andi starting to show their progression more so That might be another factor.
Why we, um in terms of why we might lean toward trading for a wide receiver over a defensive line? Mhm.
Yeah, definitely 100%.
I agree with you on that one.
I would hopefully see Green Bay being active in the trade deadline, especially with all the NFC teams going, going all in as well.
Especially with the Bucks adding Antonio Brown.
The Seattle Seahawks always seemed to have their name and in certain players, so hopefully Green Bay could make make a deep run.
Hopefully, they can add whether player, whether it be on the defensive front or or receiver and kind of go go from that kind of route and that my friends concludes this addition of the title town show.
