all right. Should be live.
We just have to make sure.
So I'm gonna recap in the Penn State game.
Penn State, Unbeknownst to me or it wouldn't be what I would predict, but they dropped the game.
Turned this down, watching the Bears game right now.
Yeah, they dropped the game 36 35.
Indiana wins unranked Indiana Penn State.
Going into the season was number eighth on a people.
So it's, um, not a good loss of Penn State at all.
Luckily, they do have Ohio State next coming up October 31st, one of the biggest games of the year.
You know, always Ohio State, Penn State, one of the best robberies in college football in the Big 10 at least.
So that's gonna be a good one.
I'm gonna turn my make up as Amigo One.
So it's just it's a loss.
First, India that Penn State, you know, can't afford because the Big 10 you know, is competitive.
And you have guys like Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana, of course, who was unranked, maybe actually, pull up the well.
Im just disappeared on the screen.
I don't know why it disappeared, but I just disappeared.
All right, You see? Okay, so it was Was it disconnected? All right, let me Can we get the camera back up? But yeah.
Let me get this camera back up.
Unplug this and should be good now.
All right, We're back.
Yeah, we're back.
But like I was saying, it was a lost at Penn State.
Really can't afford because they're competing with the top tier teams in the Big 10.
And I was gonna pull up the rankings.
Actually, that was heading into the season.
The A People college, AP College football rankings.
And I think Penn State was number eighth.
Uh, let me see if they updated yet.
So, uh, so right now is the updated one.
It's Penn State.
Penn State still in there, but the updated one pen stays at 18th in Indiana's at 17.
And of course, you have Clemson and first Obama second Ohio State.
So that's why I'm saying that they really can't afford a loss.
Like Indiana, I get Indiana is a better team than they have been in recent years.
Before the game, James Franklin had a press conference where he credited Tom Allen and credited this Indiana team and actually caught them the best 80 young team that he space ever.
I think, he said.
This was a good team, good offense, definitely.
But I feel like for the Penn State defense, they didn't really.
They didn't really lock in, like I expect them to it.
They were missing seven starters from last year. I get that.
But it was the defense that I did not expect to give up 36 points.
Indiana and also trying to Clifford Going to the office is like strong Clifford, You know, I get that, Um, I don't e get that he's not.
He's not the best quarterback of no one's saying He's like the best quarterback in Big 10 or anything like that.
But at least we tried to be a serviceable, serviceable quarterback to lead Penn State.
But the turnovers they have to be cleaned up.
Obviously, Um, I think that was a big issue with him the other year, Um, when he started and this year, Um, probably it was a big factor in Penn State losing because he had two interceptions he did other than the 200 such, he's had a pretty good game, but he had two interceptions.
He was let me read this that he was 24 for 35 238 yards and three touchdowns.
Um, and he also had 17 rushes for 119 yards.
But he threw two pigs and they were bad to Banks in. He needs Thio.
He needs to get the ball quickly.
Of course, we say this with Sean Clifford and other quarterbacks a lot.
Get the ball out quickly, go to your progressions.
And that's what he felt to Dio.
Now, of course, controversial, controversial lives playing the game.
I'll pull this up.
Controversial lives play the game.
Everyone talks talking about it.
The quarterback, the quarterback keeper, Um, for Indiana.
Let me pull it to play.
Actually, I think I made of the thumb now.
Um, so it was a weird place.
It was a wordplay.
Eso Michael panics The quarterback for Indiana.
I think he was one on the Keeper.
I wanna pull up that because I want to do a play by play.
How to do a play by play of it.
Because it was this controversial was controversial, even made it the thumbnail four this dream.
But yeah, I think I can pull it up.
But yeah, I don't think so.
For the last of the game, the refs, the refs, wrote it a touchdown I don't think he was at.
And this is not me being by his Penn State fan, but I don't think he was in.
Um, I think he was short of the goal.
I think the replays showed it.
Andi, I think his knee was He was attempting to hit the pylon and his knee.
It was down before he broke the plane, and I think I was really frustrated with it.
Um, because first of all, I did not expect it to go over time.
Second, I didn't expect us to lose in overtime and especially especially losing over time for that with on a play like that against Indiana.
Now I wanna credit. Michael panics.
Hey, played good.
He played good, but, um, as you can see by the thumbnail he was he was not in.
He was not in thinking.
I'm thinking of pull it up.
I'm gonna pull it up right here.
So I'm pulling up right here.
So I'm gonna show you guys the play that I'm talking about.
And I want you guys to determine whether this was in or not, because to me, this was not in E.
I can just pull this up.
So he's diving for the end zone and right about there.
He's down right about there.
He's down, and then he obviously break the pot on.
But that's after pretty sure they get every time, the time.
Yeah, right there.
His knees down right before, right? I mean, it's really close.
It's really close, but it's just the whole I just Sometimes I just don't like refs honestly, in all of sports.
So maybe me being biased, But, um, I just don't I wouldn't call that touched down on the field.
And when you review it, I think I was a refugee toe.
Acknowledge that he was definitely short, and maybe there was some home crowd buys there.
But I'm not really gonna get into that because there was another reason that Penn State lost that game.
I don't think they ever should have gone toe over time with Indiana.
And so let's get back to the offense with Penn State.
So the running game for Penn State, it needs to be more effective.
You can't have strong Clifford as you're leading rusher with 119 yards.
He was good, but we need some more contributions for from Devon forward, who averaged 3.
5 yards per carry, which is not good.
We need more contributions from Noah Kane, who I believe, that injured early in the game and didn't return.
So that's not really his fault.
Can do. Not really nothing about that.
But, um, Devon afford No a cane and homes.
They all need to be the kind of running back by committee this season because, of course, journey.
Brown is gonna be out for the season, most likely on also Kevin Lee.
So these guys need to be contribution big contributions toward this offense and I'm looking at the stats and definitely four had 20 carries, so he was effective in that part.
But you only had 69 yards and 3.
5 yards per carry did have ah touchdown, but we need more production from Devon fort.
He did not have a bad game.
I'm not saying he had a bad game, but, um, you can't have Sean Clifford running 17 times.
And Kevin Lee? Yeah.
Six attempts for 35 yards, 5.
8 yards per carry, which is a good average.
But you definitely want to see him get more touches.
Cain, of course, left the game early.
So, um uh, another thing I saw was people criticizing James Franklin for his time management.
Um, and I think he I think he needs four times or three times.
I believe it was any three times.
Um and people are saying that he could have scored, but I'm never going to really criticized or not criticized, but I'm never going to really call for James making this job or anything that people have been doing.
Think James regularly? Great coach, great head coach for Penn State.
But this has been a recurring theme for the Penn State these last couple years.
The game management, the adjustments from James Franklin.
Um, so yeah, so ah, lot of people have criticized this clock management because it was similar to what happened in NFL last yesterday where Todd Gurley, uh, accidentally scored.
And that's what the Penn State that they accidentally scored.
What? Not absolutely, they meant to score.
Um, but they scored when they could have, you know, took the clock down.
But it said they scored.
Gave any on another chance to score.
And, of course, what do you Indiana marched down the field with a lot of time left and scored.
So that za clock management part that I guess people are criticizing him for and it's a fair criticism I get.
That is a fair criticism.
But I think there were still other issues with this, uh, Pence, a team, especially their defense.
Now I also want to say congratulations to the tight end, Mr Pat for breaking the I believe it was Stephen touchdown record, Um, for Penn State.
Congratulations to him.
But it was like I'm just gonna keep repeating.
It's It's a game that Penn State cannot afford toe to lose.
Let me go back to the ranking.
So Alabama it's second comes in his first, of course, but you have because of that game you had Indiana overtake Penn State there, now, 17th, um And, of course, yeah, pen say that 18th, which is out of the top 10 and barely barely in the top 20.
Now they're gonna have a chance to redeem themselves against Ohio State.
And before the season started, I said, Ohio State, um, they are a team that is not unbeatable, if you know what I mean.
Um, they're not unbeatable, but there are hard team to beat, but they're not unbeatable.
And that's all we really need, I guess.
Um, I guess at this point you would say that what I say is a really better team than Penn State, but they're not unbeatable.
And that's what I said before the season.
That's what a lot of people said before the season.
And that's why I still think, even though we had a really bad laws yesterday or not yesterday, but a couple last week against the Indiana.
But what I'm gonna have to say is James Franklin needs to coach better.
Sean Clifford needs the take care of the ball.
You see more production from the running game and we need to see just overall.
I don't think anyone e don't think it really anyone was good for Penn State now.
I saw a stat for so his dad on Twitter from the seat.
Pull this up where I was pass Rush one rate for Penn State.
Waas because Micah Parsons, of course, didn't play.
But can you say But I believe don't know which the line it was for Penn State.
Okay, So for Penn State, I think it was Yeah, it was passed Trust when we highest past highest pass for us 1% and weak ate what was just week eight.
But, you know, whatever eso it was, uh, it was Tony at 41% and it was Jason.
Jason can't pronounce his lasting.
But Jason at 36% which is good production from, uh, those two people, those two players on the D line.
But we need Thio.
We need to get to the quarterback.
Sacked the quarterback when you disrupt the quarterback because our secondary, it's not that good.
Um was it's not that good.
It's pretty young, pretty inexperienced.
And that's why we need our d line toe defeat. Pass trucks.
If we're going to hold up on defense, at least because that was not a good defense support performance.
Um, I've been saying, I'm gonna pull the stats here.
So, on defense, of course, Tony.
A lot of the Penn State defensive tackle. I'm sorry.
Just normal words, but he allowed the defense attack was, of course, I think I started best defensive player as now.
But we just need more production.
I get LaMonte Wade.
I expect to have a really, really good production, um, at the safety position, especially with Michael Parsons me and out.
I expect LaMonte Wade toe fill the opposition.
Of course, he's inexperienced.
Um, but that's gonna be a guy that's has potential to be a great defensive player for Penn State.
So LaMonte Wade, um, they're not the basking didn't have the best game.
Didn't have the worst game, but that's the guy that expect to have better production.
Um, in the coming weeks for Penn State.
So looking ahead again, Ohio State, it's gonna be a tough challenge.
Is gonna be a tough challenge. Of course.
I want to see them where they ranked.
I think they're ranked number four.
If I'm not mistaken.
No, there ain't number three, Actually.
I had in order Dame.
So And they I believe they won their game.
Of course they won the game by Africa.
Who was against? I think it was against Nebraska.
Yeah, I was against Nebraska.
So, um, how the state again? They have Justin Fields, probably, and people keep talking about Trevor Lawrence.
But I think Justin Field might be contending.
I don't want to say he's the best yet, but I think he's contending and making a huge case for being the best quarterback in college football right now.
He almost a perfect game.
20 for 2176 yards, two touchdowns, no turnovers.
So great game for Justin Fields.
And he's gonna be the X factor for them.
Uh, or should have Garrett Wilson for Ohio State.
Gonna be tough to defend.
And when you have the receiving court at Ohio State has Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave.
I believe his name is I don't know, I pronounce his lasting.
But Chris Olive and Garrett Wilson both combined for almost 300 yards receiving.
Um, so that's gonna be tough, especially against ah Penn State secondary who did not do well against Indiana.
And if you don't do well against Indiana, imagine what those receivers with the skill positions they're going to do to you on Saturday against Penn State or Penn State against Ohio. Rather.
So that's something that they're gonna get tightened up.
I believe that the coach I believe in the coach for Penn State.
Don't get me wrong.
I love the school.
But I have great confidence in this coaching staff, but it's they just need to clean it up.
They just need to clean it up.
I believe I let me read this.
Okay, so yeah, I think Yeah.
OK, so Sean Clifford, I'm gonna go back to him.
What cousin? We're talking about quarterbacks here with Justin Built and Sean Clifford.
So Sean, clever.
Of course, he had early game first half when they were down 17 7, he was not.
He was not, um, having that good of a game and going back to LaMonte Wade, um, again, a guy who has a lot of potential.
I think he had to turn up, but I think had a fumble and interception or from recovery rather than an interception.
But, um, I just want to clarify that with LaMonte Wade.
Um, because like I said, that's probably my favorite player on this team.
Ah, guy who expect to have a lot of potential to be great for Penn State.
But yeah, Penn State.
Um Sean Clippard first half.
He was not doing good.
He was not doing that.
He had two turnovers in the first half, but he rallied back.
And that's what I want to see from Chong Clifford.
Hey, had four touchdowns.
Three, um, passing one on the ground.
Waas Hey had the go ahead touchdown, of course, where people were criticizing James Franklin, but you know, But he also had to touch on overtime.
But of course, Indiana came back, scored another touchdown and had a two point conversion, which I just want to touch on this.
Please NFL adopt college football's on overtime rules because it gives both offensive the chance toe have the ball, which I agree with.
I think that's something that should happen in football, so I just want to touch on that.
But you know, when the defense had to stop when the defense had to stop at the end of regulation at the end of overtime.
And you need to get a stop.
Especially when your offense they started off slow.
But they came back and rally together and they scored.
They put points on the board and the defense still could not get a stop.
So, um I think yeah, Pat.
Hey, broke my second microsecond.
Sees Kosecki uh, Kosek.
I'm not gonna try, but you broke Michael Stuckey's receiving record for Yeah, I think it was a touchdown by Titan for Penn State.
Gets that you now place where the Dolphins in Miami so great for Pat.
Um, he's probably he's probably great.
So I have the best tight end of cultural book.
Is that hot chick? I don't think so.
Probably best tired, uncomfortable.
But what frustrates me is that a Penn State had 488 yards on offense in Indiana had 211 yards on and we lost the game and that's because we were playing on discipline football when you talk about discipline football.
We had so many turnovers on that somebody, but we had a few turnovers.
Ah, lot of penalties are special teams sucked.
So that stuff that you have the coach That's something that James Franklin has toe address, um, to prepare for a live state.
So I think that's gonna be it for me.
You know, Ohio State, be Ohio statement, be Ohio State, and then every Penn State fan is gonna be back on board because I know a lot of people hearing from a lot of people that they're not, um, not too confident and then spent 18.
I guess it's only one game, you know, that fans could be after one game.
But, Matt, the special teams really disappointing me, I believe I'm saying, Yeah, so I think he was Yeah, he missed off.
It wasn't the extra point.
It was a field goal.
He had two attempts from field goal range and you missed both.
He missed the one at the end of regulation.
Uh, he must have had in relation, which it almost went in.
And you kind of can't follow him for that.
But then again, you can call home for that, because you should make that.
But then again, it almost went in.
So gotta live or die with that, But um it's just crazy that once again, I'm gonna reiterate this.
We had 488 yards of total offense.
They had 211 yards offense and because of our undisciplined, um, turnovers are undisciplined penalties, missing field goals, bad clock management.
I mean, not getting stops on defense.
That's just That's why Penn State lost that game.
And I believe that they're gonna rebound.
I don't know if they're go, they're gonna be Ohio State.
I think they're gonna be competitive.
Things will be tough to be Ohio State.
I think I owe State of course, there.
Number of their rank number three for a reason s.
So it's gonna be hard to be Ohio State.
But we're back in the Happy Valley.
We're back in the Happy Valley home field advantage.
So that's gonna be good.
Of course, no fans.
I don't eyes their fans, I think.
Okay, it's gonna be limited fans, I think, Um, of course 7.
30 kickoff Primetime.
Ohio State vs Penn State.
It's gonna be a great game.
Eso that's gonna be tuning that.
I expect Penn State to play a better game.
Hopefully they do for my sanity, and we'll be back tomorrow.
Yeah, we're about tomorrow to do some more.
Penn State talk preview Ohio State with I think I'm gonna have a guest on preview Ohio State.
And also so enough talk, Um, watching the Bears and Rams came right now.
Bears are getting blown out.
Eso it's not a good sign, but what's again if Penn State can clean up their turnovers so they can clean up their issues on offense with Sean Clifford? Um, because Sean Clifford, like I said, he played a great game besides the turnovers.
But you can't really say besides the turnovers because they were a big factor in the game and also penalties killed us.
Those two miss struggles killed us.
Not getting to stop.
I'm gonna keep creating this stuff because it's cultural stuff and stuff that Penn State should fix.
Like stuff that expect Penn State uh, James Franklin like Penn State to fix.
So hopefully they dio and that's gonna be yet.
So I'll get in my But I'll get into my predictions, uh, later in the week, because only Monday.
Um, and there's really no point of predicting right now, but let's go.
Penn State beat Ohio State.
Of course, gonna be living in tomorrow.
So see you guys later
