you know? Well, most people did.
Yeah, we're probably already live.
We just don't know it.
Way you see it? Okay.
What's going on, Everybody? My name is Joe.
You bow and we have my guy Laurence Owen for SportsCastr News.
But an incredible game last night, man.
The Seahawks and the Cardinals.
It was an absolute battle.
I mean, jeez, like, I just want to say there there's so many things we got to get into.
Obviously, there's so many moments that you can remember about that game.
But I just want to give props to Kyler, Murray and the Cardinals men.
They kept fighting to the very end, and that's what happens, man.
You know, that's that's what a good football team does.
You know, You never can really say that you're out of it, even if it's a 10 point game with only two minutes left in the fourth quarter, you still got to keep fighting and just wanna give credits to the Cardinals, man.
Um, even though we were talking about it, the Seahawks did a lot of things to shoot themselves in the foot, which will get into a swell.
But yeah, man, credit to the Cardinals.
So But Lawrence, what were your overall thoughts about this game, man going up this game? I knew it was gonna be a shootout.
I mean, it was had shootout written all over it.
Both these defense's not exactly the best in the NFL.
And then, of course, Seattle not having Jamal Adams for this game.
It just it showed it.
The only question waas was we gonna get the Russell Wilson of the past couple of weeks or was what was going to get the Russell Wilson of, uh, you know, the first three or four weeks of the season.
And we got the worst Russell Wilson of the season.
You know, I was looking.
I'm looking at Russell Wilson's, um uh, numbers, You know, his quarterback, his his actual passer rating.
For every week this season, all six games has went down.
Yes, from one game to the next, it went from 1 43 to 1 32 to 1 32 1 12 to 184.
Well, so the thing about Russell Wilson is I felt like we saw both the great Russell Wilson and then the bad Russell Wilson right? Because he did throw some bad interceptions.
But he also through some beautiful touchdowns.
I mean, that one Thio I forgot who caught it, but it was, like in the back of the end zone.
And the receiver was just able to drag his foot and get it inbounds.
It might have been Tyler lock.
Yeah, it's a good bet.
It was locked and he had 200 yards, right? Yeah, exactly.
I mean, Russell Wilson was out there throwing dimes, but then he was also out there throwing picks.
So it was like a mixed bag of nuts, man.
It definitely was, as a matter of fact, the only person Russell Wilson threw all three of those touchdowns.
Two was Tyler Lockett.
I mean, my goodness, if you had Tyler Lockett in fantasy, you are absolutely sitting high.
Who's sitting sitting? Very, very nice.
But 15 catches, 200 yards and three touchdowns.
How many points is that? Like a million and a half, at least.
I could actually do the math if you want real quick. Let's see.
That's 38 for the yards.
in the touchdowns, and then the receptions is another 15.
So what? That's close to 50 points, bro for Tyler Lockett.
My goodness, that's That's more than what normal, like big time running backs get.
Didn't? Yeah, and quarterbacks even.
Yeah, something Something I want to say.
Little interesting tidbit.
You know how many yards vote these quarterbacks got total for the game? I'm not talking about past, I mean total yards.
How many? Russell Wilson had 472 total yards this game.
Kyler Murray had 427 yards this game. Crazy.
Oh, my goodness.
This both these teams they don't hear broke 1000 yards between both offenses.
I mean, it was It was insane.
It was an insane game.
So why don't we dive into some of these moments that happened in the game? I think the first one that stood out to me was Kyler Murray smiling as he threw a touchdown pass.
I don't know if you saw that Lords, but it was so funny to see he just saw DeAndre Hopkins single covered, and he's like, Oh, yeah, I got a touchdown and he just throw it up.
I wish Lamar Jackson would be that happy when he sees his receivers one on one.
But they just can't get open like DeAndre Hopkins can.
So, um, it wasn't even open on that play.
He was just like, I know hockey.
Yeah, I know he's gonna catch.
Yeah, because e mean legitimately.
The cornerback was d****d all over Hopkins on that touchdown, and just Hopkins just waited for it to come down like my oh, my gosh.
And to think the Ravens almost traded for DeAndre Hopkins.
But we couldn't get it done anyway.
Oh, well, congrats to him and everything.
So but, yeah, there was that.
Then, of course, the D K.
Metcalf run back for after that Buddha Baker interception.
That was crazy, man.
I mean, amazing play.
Amazing play from Buddha Baker.
I thought he was going to the house for sure.
But then you see this guy this big 6 ft four? Yeah.
He's like, Oh, God, that guy is, like, the fastest guy on the field right now.
And he caught up to Buddha.
Baker's saved a touchdown, and like you said, Lawrence, they didn't end up scoring after that interception.
So no first and goal from inside the 10.
Your offense is fresh and you didn't even come away with three points.
Why would you go for it when you're down three in the game? That's my question.
You're down three and you're inside the 10.
Yeah, and you just have that massive play come away with points.
Even if it's just three.
At least it's a win.
And that that big time play by Buddha Baker is not completely wasted.
And that Z, that's just the thing of coaches trying Thio, you know, get too cute, in my opinion, like, Oh, we could score this touchdown and go up on them.
But no, you take the points that they're Cliff Kingsbury.
I mean, I would have been ****ed if that was my coach that did that.
So yeah, it was.
It was interesting, man again.
Both of these teams did a lot of things to shoot themselves in the foot.
Um, but somehow, some way, the Cardinals scented of pulling it out.
So what else was there? Well, obviously, in overtime, that interception from Isaiah Simmons, who only played five in five snaps which is the craziest thing.
Um, so there was that moment, like, beautiful play.
I mean, yeah, I would have thrown the football if I was Russell Wilson at that time, just like the Buddha.
Now, the Buddha Baker for interception was a little bit, you know, kind of a lob pass, but this was it.
This was a good pass by Russell Wilson here.
But Simmons just beautifully, right.
His first four plays that he played, he was always up a long line of scrimmage, you know, playing against the run, maybe rushing in on the pastor on this one.
It was a sprint right back to the perfect spot on the field to come away with that pick.
Yeah, and that's the kind of things that Isaiah Simmons did at Clemson.
So And that's what everybody was expecting from him in the league.
But he hasn't really gotten that chance.
So luckily for him that he was able to make that one play out of his five snaps.
And that's Ah, you know, you love to see that, Especially if you're Cardinals fan.
So what else? Here, man? What? I mean, there's just so many moments that I'm that I'm definitely forgetting.
Uh, Hopkins, drop the football.
Oh, I might have missed that one.
Was it early in the game? It was, I think, in the second quarter, about eight minutes left or something like that.
Hawkins had 10 catches on the gay day, 100 100 yards.
You know, he had a good game, but it was a little screen past little quick screen pass.
The Hopkins and he danced around a little too much.
And because he did that the entire Seattle Seahawks defense closed in around him and ripped the football and against a team a tight game like this, you cannot allow that many bodies hitting you at once because you have no idea there's too many hard helmets this, that people are in there trying to knock that ball out, get the argue can and go down.
Oh, I think I know what you're talking about.
Yeah, I remember that play as well, so yeah, I mean turnovers from both sides.
Oh, and how about that moment in the game where Russell Wilson overthrew a ball that Patrick Peterson ended up intercepting in the end zone and then Kyler Murray comes out and immediately throws a picked back to the Seahawks.
That was insane.
I'm like, Oh, man, I thought it that point.
Okay? This game is over. The Seahawks are gonna win.
Um, and again, the I think the moment that really like in my in my mind, put the game away for the Seahawks was that touchdown pass that we talked about earlier, Uh, to I believe Tyler.
Yeah, to Tyler Lockett.
Right, Because it was in the back of the end zone and he just was able to drag his feet inbounds.
I thought, OK, it's over 10 point game.
There's, like, three minutes left.
There's no way the Cardinals were gonna win, and then what happens? They come back and they're they're able Thio.
They actually the Seahawks defense were able to hold them to a field goal attempt.
But then the special teams for the Seahawks screwed up with that penalty.
Jumped over the Cardinals, uh, offensive lineman there, So and then they were able to score the touchdown.
So that is those types of things that the Seahawks just cannot afford to do because you had this game, you know? So got to be so frustrating, man and as me as a defensive guy.
I was so frustrated watching these defense's play, especially the Seahawks.
I'm like, Come on, you guys air like known for the legion of boom and you're just giving up so much yardage.
Dude, you're allowing them to throw to the outside in a two minute, you know, scenario.
It just makes no sense to be fair.
Kyler Murray today look more like Russell Wilson than Russell Wilson.
Hey, did the whole game.
He was throwing laser being rockets, man dead on target.
Most of the time, he was scrambling all over the place, trying toe extend.
Even he had one x tended play to be through downfield.
It was just gorgeous.
Um, you know, I want Pat myself on the back a little bit here because last night between me and Ray, we were talking about this game and keys to the game, and I say one thing that normally is a key to the game, but in this situation, it will not be it's time of possession.
A team could have 10 minutes more time of possession in this game, but because of a fire power of both offenses being able to score and chunks in short amount of time.
Time of possession would be Jack.
Seattle had nearly 10 minutes. MAWR.
I'm a possession than the Arizona Cardinals, so good call.
Good call for sure.
Um, yeah, man, it's insane.
Like I said, the Seahawks, it reminded me a lot of the game last year against the 40 Niners that it was kind of like a back and forth as well.
It went to overtime, and then this Russell Wilson threw a pick in overtime is, well, eso it was It was a lot.
I mean, Seahawks games.
What? It just feels like they can't have a regular game.
It has to be like, Oh, my God, last second, every single game. That's insane.
I would I would just be pulling my hair out every time. The overtime.
It's just completely representative of the regular game.
Yeah, I mean, the offenses were on board, but that was turnovers, you know, and it was like a roller coaster in overtime.
It was a roller coaster.
Normally, you go toe over time. It's one of two things.
Either a someone runs down and scores games over or kicks a field goal.
The other teams does something in block or neither team can do jacker squat because it's a defensive game and both offenses suck and you end up with a tie, which was happened, what twice this season already.
So I think in my and this one, it was, Oh, the Seahawks got the ball.
They drive down the field.
Looks like they're going to score.
Note. They don't score.
Then you know, both teams had the ball twice, and they and I think so.
Yeah, and the Cardinals.
They had, like a 41 yard field goal, which is funny because they, the kicker, made it.
What's his name? Zane Gonzalez.
He made the field goal when Cliff Kingsbury had to call the time out because the time was running out on the play clock.
Right? Eso I mean, I get it.
You do have to call a time out there, But maybe don't ice your own kicker.
Maybe do it like a couple seconds before the play clock expires.
That would just be me.
Um, but that was crazy.
And then he tried to get and missed it, and then the Seahawks get the ball back, and I think that's when the the interception happened from Isaiah Simmons.
Toe ice the game.
So, man, I mean just absolute insane.
Crazy game. Definitely.
If you know if you'd miss the game, I would definitely recommend watching it because it's it's definitely definitely a romper, for sure.
So by easily, easily it was.
It was, Well, I'll tell you what.
Yesterday was chock full of great games all the way across the board.
You had a ton of overtime or last minute heroic winning plays, you know, win games. Over.
I think there was three of them.
Three of those, like, last minute wins in, uh like the one o'clock games.
And it was It was amazing.
The the only game that was even worth watching was the Patriots game.
I know, man, that's so crazy.
I couldn't believe that.
I thought that the Patriots had that one for sure.
But, man, honestly, as much as I love Cam Newton, he definitely hasn't been playing his best.
Maybe the whole covert thing has affected him.
It has to be, I don't know because, uh, he doesn't have that spark that juice that you're used to seeing Cam Newton have on his runs when he's running to the outside or something.
You're used to seeing that that sparked that.
That quickness, and he doesn't have that quickness.
He doesn't have that breakaway speed that you're used to seeing from Cam Newton I and it's just it's not there.
And I'm wondering if, like you said, the cove it is is really wearing on him and making him tired and hard to breathe or something.
I don't know, because you may, you may not have symptoms of it, but it still leaves stuff inside of you that makes it difficult to play right.
It wears out your respiratory system and stuff and makes it hard for you to come back from that.
Yeah, you know that that's possible.
That's very possible.
Especially for running quarterback, man.
Yeah, I could definitely see that for sure.
I will say, Man, it does feel good to see.
You know, Patriots fans hopefully get a little humbled because for so long they just were at the top of the league top of the A F.
And now oh, they're just an average team so get used to Patriots fans.
Hopefully, that's how it is for the rest of the time.
Um, but I know most of them have already jumped ship.
Uh, I have to bring something up to you.
What's that? I need you to acknowledge the only undefeated team in the NFL.
Nah, they're all right.
So the Steelers were good.
I thought the Titans probably should have pulled it out there at the end with that field goal.
One of those really good games we should've watched.
Yeah, that was definitely a good game to watch, but yeah, man.
I mean, I'll give props where props or do props to the Steelers There.
Obviously good. They know how to win games.
And Big Ben is playing great.
Although he did throw it three interceptions yesterday.
And ah, lot of Steeler fans are like, Well, no, because they don't count.
They still count his interceptions, bro.
He threw three interceptions.
Let's not forget, let him throw three interceptions against the reasons that's all I'm gonna say.
Three interceptions against the Ravens.
The Ravens will drop every football on offense.
Oh, yeah, just everything will go wrong, right? Yeah.
Um, no, but yeah, so we'll see how it goes, man.
Obviously, everybody's looking forward to this Sunday because it's finally Steelers Ravens in Baltimore.
Um, and you know, it's gonna be a sweet victory.
So, anyway, I guess I just find it amazing that we came into yesterday with 300 ft of teams in the NFL, and then we come out of it with just one.
And there's a good possibility.
Like you say, next week there will be done, right? I mean, they could legitimately beat the Ravens.
The Ravens could legitimately beat them.
This is going to be probably the eyes.
This a prime time game.
I don't think so.
I know that it should be, but it should be.
But I don't think it is right now.
I think it's just a one o'clock.
Uh, but yeah, man, I mean, obviously, we'll talk about that.
Maura's this as the week comes on, but yeah, that's obviously looking forward to that.
Um, Juju came out and said yesterday after the game, we're not only the best team in the division were the best team in the A F C.
And I'm like, Okay, let's let's chill out.
You haven't beaten the Chiefs.
You haven't beaten the Ravens, you know.
Let's let's see you go up against the Ravens first before you start staking your claim as not only the best in the division but the best of the FC, bro.
Come on, like, give me a break that I just have a feeling that that's gonna be one of those one of those interviews that gets that gets played again after after our game after our match up there.
So bullets And after that game last night, I would have to say that I would pretty much even though Pittsburgh came away with that win, I would put them in Tennessee on equal terms.
I mean, they both played their hearts out.
That was a great game.
Yeah, I think so, too.
I mean, they held on to the very end.
It was kind of like the Seahawks and Cardinals, except the Titans just weren't able to make the comeback happened there.
So, um but yeah, Steelers fans, Steelers air, feeling high on themselves, and that's great.
I can't wait until our date in Baltimore.
But anyway, let's see.
So I wanted to talk about some of the games that I got wrong yesterday.
Um, well, we could talk about the Browns. Bengals.
That was a good game.
It's Well, Baker came through.
No one expected.
No one expected Joe Burrow to throw 800 yards.
Nobody ever expects that.
Um, yeah, but so there's that.
The football team absolutely demolished the Dallas Cowboys.
What? Where do you go with Dallas now? E mean, good Lord.
It's just a mess.
It za terrible mess.
Three points and Washington scored.
Can times that? Yeah, it's crazy, man.
You gotta feel bad, guys.
You gotta Oh, my God.
If I was a Dallas cowboy, I wouldn't even have a bag.
E don't I don't want to see that star anywhere. Yeah.
That is embarrassing.
It's crazy, man.
And and now it looks like Andy Dalton is also dealing with a concussion right now.
So now they I don't know what they're gonna do.
A quarterback, to be honest with you, But, hey, Dallas has no offensive line, but at the same time.
Like the Bengals don't have an offensive line, either.
And look what Joe Burrow did yesterday, right? Like he beat a good team, a good team, no offensive line and no star running back.
And, yeah, you've got Ezekiel Elliott, who's out there, like you know what? I'm just gonna give the ball to the other team.
Every of course.
I mean, the Washington D line was all over them as I expected.
So you know what are you gonna dio? But I still thought that the palace was Yeah, I didn't I don't think anybody expected them to just put up three, that's for sure.
Um, Bills, Jets, the bills just squeaked out a win over the Jets men 18 to 10.
So, E I don't know, man.
These bills, I know they're dealing with a lot of injuries.
Let me just say that because when you have Josh Norman on the field, you know something's going wrong, right? You cannot have Josh Norman on the field and feel good about your defense.
So you've got to remember, divisional games.
Air kind of funny that way.
Yeah, they're really weird game.
Look what happened with the Raiders in Kansas City last week.
And then when the when the Raiders go and face Tampa Bay, they just fall apart.
So divisional games were weird.
Sometimes you can't really look at that and go, uh, you know, this team is doing bad or this team is doing good.
You need to fight someone where the team doesn't know you so well.
Then there was the Panthers and Saints.
I think that's what those that was one of your upsets that you picked and the Saints ended up pulling it out there.
Close game, though.
So Panthers air still still fighting there? Um, Packers? That was another upset you picked.
You picked the Texans there, but the Packers, like I said, Aaron Rodgers wasn't gonna be playing any games.
And that's exactly what he came out and did so on Davante Adams was just way too much way too much for the text in secondary.
Okay, Adams had more yards receiving than like some of these quarterbacks last night, yet throw phone yards.
It was ridiculous.
Good lord, I got I got the lion's right barely up.
That last? Yeah.
Matt Stafford came through man with the last second.
Well, actually, the receiver came through because we've seen it happen before.
We're Matt Stafford throws a game winning touchdown, and then it's dropped.
So, um, congrats to the men.
The Falcons once again blow another lead.
That's just I mean, it's sad, but, hey, that's that's kind of what they're known for at this point.
So the bucks pretty much smashed the Raiders, you know, again, I said it yesterday.
I thought that the talent would outweigh the coaching, Which to me, is what happened.
The talent on the bucks just was too much for the Raiders to handle there.
Um, the Chargers ended up beating the Jags, and it was kind of closer than I thought it would be.
But the Chargers, they put up a lot of points. Man.
I honestly expected the Jags to win that game.
Yeah, I remember you said that yesterday.
Um, but there's that.
And then we talked about the Patriots getting destroyed by the Niners.
The Chiefs absolutely demolished the Broncos.
Um, And then, of course, the cardinals just pulled out that victory against the Seahawks.
So it was a good day yesterday, for sure, man.
Um, so do you want to wrap this up with the division standings as we usually do? OK, let's check it out.
Let's check it out.
So today we we still have the Rams and the Bears that have to play.
If I'm not mistaken, who do you have? Just out of curiosity, that's tonight's game.
I believe I might end up picking the Bears.
You're more convinced by the Bears than the Rams.
I am Mawr confident.
Both teams have Good defense is, But I'm more confident in Chuck Pagano's defense right now that I am the ramp now.
The Rams offense on paper looks great.
Yeah, but the Bears offense has looked impressive over the past two weeks.
So and that's with, you know, a new guy at the helm.
They're starting to look a little bit better.
We'll see there.
They have only had one loss on the season, and that was to the cold.
So I think I think this could be an interesting game and it's gonna be a close game.
It's either gonna be there.
Yeah, I don't expect this to be.
I don't think the Bears will score more than 20 but I don't think that the Rams will either.
So I think it was gonna be a really close game.
And I think if they don't that that don't totally feeds into the Bears like that's what they want to do.
They want to keep games low, scoring.
They want to keep if they can keep the Rams to under 20.
Then I do think the Bears win this game.
But if the Rams were able to figure their **** out, I could definitely see the Rams winning.
I have more faith in the Rams personally, Um, you know, General? Yeah, yeah, of course.
But I just I Golf under pressure is not good.
I mean, he's probably the biggest drop off in the NFL.
When you get pressure on him and the Bears are one of those teams, that defense could get pressure on anyone.
That's definitely a good point.
And under the lights, Jared Goff doesn't always look the best, so yeah, good points for sure, but we'll see.
It should be a good game.
You guys are obviously gonna talk about that a little bit more later, So All right, let's do a quick little recap of the division standings as we stand right now.
And then we're gonna go ahead and get out of here for you guys.
So the Seahawks still on top despite the loss? Five and one there.
And the Cardinals are just breathing down their necks with five and to record, man.
So all there waiting for it.
It is the Rams at four and two and the Niners at four.
This is potentially there could be all four teams in the playoffs, right? So, yeah, potentially, Yeah, could happen.
But I don't know.
I mean, you still have, like, the Bears, the Packers, and a couple other teams here.
So it's it's gonna be a battle up until the very end there.
So But the Niners, there's still there's still scrapping, man.
They're still fighting for that division.
This is definitely I was Or go the winner of a division going to the playoffs and just say no one in the east.
Yeah, And just add another extra wild card team.
Yeah, I think there's actually a petition for that for that.
Actually that happen on? I'm sure NFC East fans themselves don't want to go to the playoffs.
It seems like so I don't know what you know.
Let's say you were the Cowboys and you won the his vision with five wins.
Would you want to go to the playoff and just get completely embarrass, embarrassed? And then not only does that happen, but because you made the playoffs, you're no longer top 10 in the draft, your bottom 10 in the graph.
That's it's the worst case scenario.
On top of that, it's a home playoff game.
So you get to get embarrassed at home under the lights.
Well, I don't know what's going on there, but so NFC West men, tight race.
We'll see how that turns out.
The Rams could potentially I don't know if they jump over the Cardinals with a win tonight.
They know they lost in the division, so actually, the Cardinals would still be there in second place.
Okay, so there's that definitely something to look out for and the bears still on top of the NFC North.
But the Packers right there behind him at five and one.
Um, probably, Yeah.
Loss here would definitely boost the Packers up to the first place.
You have the Lions kind of holding on three and three.
The only reason the bears our number one are on top is because the Packers lost in the NFC, not even their own division.
They lost NFC and that the Bears have beaten every NFC opponent that take place.
That's insane, man.
How that how that works? Um, yeah, Detroit being three and three guy.
I mean, I still don't think they're gonna I still don't think they're gonna make a playoff push.
But, you know, it's what I expected from the lines there.
A scrappy team, they're gonna win games.
It's not like I didn't say they were gonna be trash, you know, But they have a slim chance to make the playoffs.
I mean, you got you got that extra wild card team this year, and right now there are 500.
So I mean, there, right on that edge.
Yeah. It's not impossible.
It's not impossible.
So we'll see on then.
The Vikings air just one in five.
They're totally out of it.
I knew they were out of it before the season started.
I told everybody that had nothing to do with with their offense.
I thought their offense was gonna be okay.
And their offenses.
I mean, there there are Top 10 offensive the NFL.
Their defense has got awful.
No, I mean, it is crazy.
I didn't really expect their defense to be that bad.
So they all of their defensive backs.
Yeah, but I thought, You know Zimmer, He's a good coach.
He'll be able to figure it out.
But, you know, maybe that's because I don't follow the Vikings as closely as I should.
So I want to know how many Vikings fan What? Xavier Rhodes back on their team? Because you can't have the oh, he's playing all pro level right now for the Colts.
Thio Roads closed as he was a few years ago.
Okay, eso the NFC South, the bucks looking dominant man five and two sitting pretty just over the saints who are coming back here now for into, you know, they're starting toe.
Feels like they're getting a little bit of a groove going on. I don't know.
The whole Michael Thomas situation still looms heavy.
Obviously, over the Saints.
Um, the Panthers still holding on barely three and four And the Falcons, I mean, one in six there.
Definitely a top five pick at this point. Hold on.
I just want to say this.
The Atlanta Falcons have a worse net points than have better net points.
Yeah, everybody in the N F C s.
Oh, yeah, look at that.
Wow, you're absolutely right.
So the Falcons have scored 184 points and have allowed 207 which is only a 23 negative 23 net points, whereas oh my God.
The closest one is the is the Washington with negative 32.
My goodness on the Cowboys air at 67 net points, bro.
I mean, yeah, that says a lot about that defense, whereas last year it was a complete flip where they were when they won games, they were they were winning them on blowout.
And then they lose close games.
Two good teams this year that tells you what an offensive line does for a football team that exactly tells you what an offensive line does for a football team? Absolutely.
And actually, I was looking here.
They've actually given up the most points in the NFL.
Just in general.
The Cowboys have 243 points because their offense can't stay on the field.
Yep, And if your offense can't stay on the field, your defense is so dead and tired they can't stop a freaking mouse.
They can't do nothing.
It's such a mess.
It is such a mess over there, man.
Despite that, there's still, you know, still in the running for the division.
Somehow two and five, Washington a two and five just jumped over them with that win yesterday and the Eagles still on top with that tie, man, I'm telling you, it was It was Doug e.
He was playing five d chess when he settled for the tie against the Bengals because he knew he knew the division was terrible and then the Giants, sitting at a horrible one in six.
Can we talk about Daniel Jones real quick, man, because everybody was telling me like, Oh, he's good man. He's gonna be good.
He's only thrown like four touchdowns this season, bro.
And, like seven interceptions, what are we talking about here? And, of course, it's another offensive line issue.
And plus, he doesn't have this weapon.
He? Yeah, now the only issue I have Is he still fumbling the football? He's still trying to do too much.
Doesn't know when to throw the football away and give up.
He's always fighting like I mean, I get trying to fight, but don't fight so much that you're hurting your team.
That's all there is to it, and he still is hurting that team.
But, I mean, the Giants are also a mess, so really, you can't can't give him too much of the credit for the losses.
But you saw the Daniel Jones.
Yeah, of course.
That's I mean, that's gonna go in NFL history.
I mean, that run was amazing and then got tripped up by the Yeah, the turf monster got him.
The a perf monster saved the touchdown.
U s Oh, that was so great.
All right, let's move to the A F C A F C East, the bills still sitting fairly comfortably up there with five and to record.
Just beat the Jets.
Dolphins, Dolphins in second place at three and three.
They're not out of it, man.
They potentially could make a wild card here.
At least record wise Patriots at two and four.
I wonder how they're feeling.
Man, I bet the sky is falling over there.
We gotta We gotta talk to Ray and figure out the pulse of the Patriots fan base.
If there even is one, it would be more if they're not Tampa Bay Bucks fans at this point.
Are the Patriots gonna learn to tackle somebody because the 40 Niners a freaking elderly woman out there with a walker and got four or five yards a carry? A good Lord? Yeah, man, it's It's crazy to watch.
And then, of course, the Jets are just terrible.
Oh, and seven with it. Oh, boy.
And negative. 118 net points here.
They've only scored 85 points, which I'm pretty sure is the least in the NFL.
Let me check real quick.
And they've given up 203 points.
The jets air terrible, horrible to perfect teams in the NFL, the Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
For all the wrong reasons.
You don't wanna be perfect that way.
I do have a question. Sure.
If Tua comes out, you ever just looks awful.
Does Ryan go back in? Hmm? I don't think so, man.
Honestly, I think that they're going to roll with the punches with two of which and again, I I didn't think it was the right decision because it's like Fitzpatrick has played well.
They're winning games.
Why screwed up? You know, I get it you wanna put out, and this is kind of what I predicted at the beginning of the season, I thought that's Dolphins were going to put into a before they should have.
And that's exactly what they're doing, in my opinion, so yeah, and yeah, I don't think he could, probably unless he goes out there and throws like, five pics, Then they'll probably put Fitzpatrick in.
But Miami is in the is legitimately through six weeks, has a shot at the playoffs.
Yeah, why or seven weeks, Actually.
Why in the world if you gotta do what you can tow win if tua looks bad in the first half.
Put this Patrick back in.
Yeah, because it's not about the player.
It's about the team.
A t least That's my opinion.
And I don't think too would take it personal.
I mean, if a player looks bad, you pull, but this all there is to it.
But I guy GREss, we still have yet to see what he looks like.
He could go out there and look like freaking Russell Wilson from weeks or or exactly so we'll never know.
But, well, yeah, definitely.
I agree with you men.
I think that they should have kept Fitzpatrick in there, but anyway, a f c North man, obviously, as we said the Steelers at the top right now, six and oh, but that will change next week.
The Ravens are at five and one, still breathing down their neck and the Browns five and two.
I mean, they look good against everybody else That isn't in their own.
Well, I mean the Bengals, But come on, let's be honest here.
That's the Bengals, Uh, but perhaps the baker man and I want to say I know this not to me be disrespectful.
And by the way. I don't know if you guys know this, but O.
B J is officially done for the season.
That just came out before we started streaming.
The news just dropped.
So, um, you know, hopefully he gets healthy, you know, nothing but the best wishes for him.
And Ray was hoping that O.
J would be on his way to New England.
That doesn't look like it's going to happen.
But, Lawrence, I think I said something yesterday or today, and you agreed with me that Baker seems to play better when O.
B. J is not on the field.
And again, I'm not wishing an injury on anybody or not celebrating his injury or anything like that.
That's not what I'm trying to do here.
But it's clear to me that Baker doesn't feel that extra stress of Oh, I have to get the ball.
I have to force the ball toe.
Odell Beckham Jr.
It feels like he could just play his game, and he could just go out there and spread the ball around to whoever he needs to run the ball. No problem.
He just plays better without O.
B J man. It's It's fax.
Like his rookie season.
He didn't have O b.
And he had probably his best season of his career so far.
Um, obviously his second season.
That's when he got O B.
J. And he played bad.
And then the beginning with LBJ.
He just hasn't really played that well.
And now he comes out No.
O b j and throws five touchdowns.
I mean, how can you argue with that, right? You're sitting here talking up the Cleveland Browns and Baker Mayfield.
Are you scared of them? Next time you play or something? Oh, no, of course not. Please.
There's still little brother to me, man.
There's still little brother to me.
I mean, I don't know, happy against Cleveland, though.
So we'll see how it goes, man.
Obviously, this division is far from it's It's not like anybody has an absolute grasp on the North just yet.
It's gonna be scrapping for sure up until the end.
Andan the Bengals again There.
What can you say? I mean, they they had it.
They kept a close eye.
Feel like Joe Burrow he had I mean, he had a great game, probably his best game in the NFL so far.
Um, and he put the Bengals in a chance to win that game or in the opportunity.
But then Baker just came back and the lead, that game winning drive.
I don't think there was any doubt that that was gonna happen.
So, uh, there's that.
And then the south, your division, the Titans finally go down to the Pittsburgh Steelers, they finally get a loss.
And the Colts fans, I'm sure like you I'll celebrating because now they're only down one game in the division.
I had mixed feelings on it, actually, Really? Okay.
Otherwise, that obviously being a cold fan, Yeah, it's a win, you know, for the cold, because, you know, like you say down one in the division.
But at the same time, I kind of wanted Tennessee to legitimize himself.
And still, even though they lost, I think they did.
Yeah, I think they played a very good, very tight last minute game.
I think they legitimize themselves.
Not only you know to other teams, but fans in the NFL.
Yeah, I think so too.
Men, I think they definitely put it.
I mean, the beginning of that game.
It was definitely going for the Steelers, No problem.
But then up until the very end that the Titans kept fighting.
So that's what you like to see from these teams, but the Colts air sneaking up on the men.
So we'll have to see.
When do you guys play them? Is it? Do you guys have a game coming up soon or No, actually, I think that we play the Titans two times in three weeks.
Oh, really? A middle of, uh, I think it's like a week 11 and 13 I think, or something like that.
Well, we're gonna find out there and then the Texans and the Jags air just bottom feeders right now.
One in six, both of them.
But they're not as bad as they look.
I think record wise, they are scrappy teams.
I do think they're gonna win a few more games here.
All right, let's round it out here with the A F C West.
The Chiefs obviously still looking good.
They just absolutely destroyed the Denver Broncos who are sitting in last place, the Raiders at three and three still potential there for a wild card spot.
They're not a bad team, like I said.
But when they go up against those more talented teams, I think that they're going to get beat.
Unless it's against the Chiefs.
Obviously, because that's just a divisional matchup that you never know what could happen there.
Um, and then the Chargers at two and four.
Finally, Justin Herbert finally got his first win as a starter.
So congrats to him.
And then the Broncos, like we said at the bottom, even though Drew lock is back, doesn't make a difference to me.
Like I said, I just never I've never been big on Drew luck personally, so, um but yeah.
So thoughts Lawrence on any any wrap up you wanted toe bring up here before we get out of here, I think.
Yeah, basically the same thing I said earlier.
Uh, I think everybody watching.
If no team wins over six games in the NFC East, I think everybody needs Thio.
Sign that stupid petition.
Yeah, but it needs to be legitimate.
Yeah, the NFL actually needs to take it into account.
Also, have you noticed that star running? I mean, start running backs have been going down for every team all across the all season.
That's the majority of your injuries.
Have been running backs.
E mean, big time.
Mozart goes down last night.
Uh, there, there, back up in San Francisco went down late in the game.
They had to go with their fourth string or hasty.
Um, obviously, you got McCaffrey, uh, went down mixing, mixing went down.
Drake went down last night.
Can you drink? I mean, running back across the NFL.
It's just going down, left and right.
Marlon Mack went down early in the season.
Barkley went down early in the season.
I mean, good Lord, we're not gonna have any running backs left unless you're the Ravens.
Yeah, Yeah, we have, like, 67 running running backs.
Um, no, but yeah, it's it's interesting.
And another thing is that a lot of these teams well, you know, maybe like the Giants would probably look a little better with Barkley.
I don't think they're They're definitely missing them too much.
I mean, the panthers, they're still out there winning games without Christian McCaffrey.
I think I think the Colts are missing Marlon Mack.
Yeah, by a lot because he brings an element that Jonathan Taylor just does not have.
I think Cleveland Browns, I think would be a lot more potent with Tub, Which, sure.
Chub comes back for the Browns.
I mean, that offense is gonna be **** near unstoppable, Especially without O p. J.
Right, Which is crazy to say, but, I mean, you know, the numbers speak for themselves.
Um all right, well, I think we're gonna go ahead and get out of here.
