load. Oh, here we go.
Yeah, and we are live welcoming everyone to second in gold sports talks.
Coverage of Texas vs Baylor.
I'm Calvin your host.
I'll be with you here for the entire second half of this game.
And right now, Texas just received the kickoff, which went through the end zone.
They'll be starting at their 25 yard line there, on top 13 to 3 here in this game.
Been very low scoring so far, But Texas went on a 10 scored 10 unanswered points to end the half, and now they're up 13 to 3.
And here Sam Ellinger takes the snap and gives the handoff, and this one will go for a first down.
Gaining about 10 yards is by John Robinson, who has gotten more involved over the past couple of weeks.
Texas was on a by last week, and l lingers in the hurry up offense.
Now is he gives to Robinson again, who gets the first down across the 35 up to about the 38 yard line.
So Texas amping up the tempo here a little bit as they get going once again, up 13 3 in this game with just under 14.
5 minutes to go in the third quarter.
Slowing it down is Texas, but they're getting in position.
As of now, Ellinger sends a man in motion.
Got Robinson to his right.
Takes us now handoff Robinson again.
Robinson, running left, got some space across the 45 he gets all the way down almost to midfield.
Another first down for be John Robinson in the Texas run game, Suddenly getting going very quickly here.
Ball on the 40 nine yard line.
Texas trying to snap a two game skid here in this game as that linger keeps it on the Q B draw.
You're running left across the 40 five all the way to the 44.
The quick pace here by Texas's gaining them a lot of yardages.
They get down to Baylor 44 yard line Texas going in the hurry up again.
They've got two tight ends, three wide receivers and be John.
Excuse me one tight end, three wide receivers and be John Robinson on the field.
Along with Ellinger, Eleanor takes the snap fakes the handoff rolling right now steps up, avoids a tackler.
Ellinger rolling left throwing deep intended for the end zone.
But he way overthrows his receiver.
That was incomplete.
Ellinger was under a lot of pressure and lobbed it way over Jake Smith's head.
So it'll be second Earth.
Third down and three, Ellinger absolutely launched that throw on the run.
He stopped just close to the 40.
Or excuse me, the 50 and just launched it, but it was way over.
Jake Smith had not catchable there, So it'll be 33.
And this will be a key down for Baylor trying to get a stop and get the ball back down.
10 Ellinger with four wide receivers and running back in the backfield.
The running back. His Ingram.
He'll take the snap looking throwing.
That's a first down, complete inside the 35 all the way down to the 27 yard line.
Nice play there by Brennan Eagles, the X receiver for Texas, and they will get the first down, a key conversion for them to keep the drive moving.
Thank you. Open heart for joining the broadcast.
Hurry up offense again.
Ball on the 28 Ellinger snaps.
He's gonna throw it deep here, intended for the end zone, and this is incomplete.
Intended for Joshua Moore.
He was in one on one coverage there.
It'll be second down in 10 so more was in one on one coverage and almost got it, but it was batted away by the Baylor defender at the last second.
That was Kaylen Barnes on the play for the Bears.
So 2nd and 10 Ellinger in the shotgun got anger in the backfield with three wideouts and a tight end and linger, looking eight on the play clock, takes the snap now slightly low.
He'll handle it, looking under pressure escapes.
The pressure dives forward and he's being He gets brought down after about a yard.
There were about three Baylor defenders who are near him, and Ellinger escaped and avoided the sack, but he was only able to get about a yard.
So it'll be 39 no longer being brought down by the shoulder part of his jersey there.
And then he was leveled in the ribs, a little bit shaky there, But he gets up fine and he'll play again here on third and nine ball in the 27 Ellinger with three wide receiver, four wide receiver.
Excuse me in a running back.
Takes the snap looking.
Gonna pass throws left side.
That's complete to his receiver.
That's a first down inside the 15 Brennan Eagles gets his second target of the drive.
He actually Scuse me.
Jake Smith gets his second target of the drive.
Hey, made that play for the first down. So Texas.
Well, hurry up again, Paul On the 13 1st and 10 tailor making some substitution here.
11 43 to go in the third quarter.
Ellinger got a full back and a running back in the backfield.
He'll fake the handoff, looking right throws over the middle. Incomplete.
Looked like he was receiver got stuck on the defender there.
That was intended for Al Vontae Woodward, the sop****re, the redshirt sop****re, actually, but, uh, looks like he got a little bit stuck and there will be a late flag on the play and we'll see what this is.
This might be pass interference.
Yeah, it looks like it will be so the referees, air talking it over That flag seemed to come in pretty late.
Well, Woodward had gotten stuck, and the throw is a little bit wide as a result that pass interference, we should put him half the distance to the goal.
Referees Still talking this one over may have been some confusion about the call here.
Open heart for the foam finger.
You really appreciate it? Yep, it'll be pass interference.
So first down for Texas and they are driving near the goal line Now.
Baylor is one on one and one on the season so far after their outstanding year last year, where they lost coach Matt Rural to the NFL in the Carolina Panthers.
First and goal now with the two actually won't be half the distance.
I guess Ellinger takes the snap. Handoff.
Ingram Ingram, running left, bounces off the tackle when he gets about half of it, getting down to the one, so it'll be second in goal.
Ingram has been on the field for a lot of the later parts of this Dr.
Gene Robinson was featured back earlier.
The two have been basically splitting carries so far this half 11 07 To go.
Ellinger has got two tight ends, two wide receivers and running back on the field, sending a man in motion.
It's Joshua more handoff.
Ingram Ingram coming up and he look, it looks like he got just a little bit short.
Was hit from behind by a Baylor defender, but he will be about half a yard short lying on the ground there.
Now it's third and goal.
Texas will have one more chance to try to get in the end zone and make this a three score game.
An extra point would do just that.
Texas lining up.
Got two guys in the backfield now, along with two wideouts in a tight end.
Ellinger keeps it on the Q B draw.
Ellinger breaks a tackle.
It didn't look like he got up there.
He kind of stood up after he thought he got in the end zone and they will rule it a touchdown.
That play was not whistled dead until a lot later, as Ellinger thought he had gotten in stood up in celebration and they did not confirm the touchdown until right after.
But it looks like Ellinger got in and yeah, as they showed the replay.
I think he got across the goal line temporarily, so they will call that a touchdown in Texas is on top 19 to 3.
So the touchdown was on a 12 play, 75 yard drive, as Texas will look to attempt the extra point here up like 16 Ellinger toweling off on the bench.
Now after that run.
Okay, Yeah, it's so Cameron ****er is lining up for the extra point now for Texas, 10 25 to go in the third.
Snap hold kick is through.
That one was just a little bit to the right of the center, but it was clearly in.
****er nearly missed a 22 yard earlier in the game, but Texas will be on top 22 3.
It's a three possession game now here with 10 25 to go in the third quarter, we will go into a commercial break.
Baylor will get the ball next, trying to answer Texas 17 unanswered points.
Okay, so we're in a commercial break now, and if you guys like fantasy football, you should check out are finished.
My fantasy football podcast, the second Gold fantasy podcast, puts out weekly episodes preparing you for your fantasy match up, and you can find it wherever you listen to podcasts.
Amazon music, Apple podcast, Spotify, Google podcasts, it you're tuning cast box or pod Bean.
All of those are options, and Chris could not make second and gold sports talk tonight.
So I'm doing this stream instead.
And it's been a good game so far, But Texas is extending their lead.
Baylor definitely not out of it yet.
Texas does tend to make these kinds of games close.
Thank you, Go Rams for joining the broadcast.
So it's been a good day for college football.
The Big 10 has returned, but also a brutal injury for Alabama.
Star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is out for the season, and ambulance had to come toe pick him up.
He had a lower leg injury.
Now he's already been ruled out for the year.
This is not good.
As he was planning to go into the draft after this year, I believe.
Yeah, so we're still in a commercial break.
We'll be back in just a moment here early in the third quarter, okay? And it's been a fun game to watch so far.
This game was 3 to 3 until actually late in the second half for the first half, and Texas has began to pull away.
But Baylor will definitely not be giving up.
Oh yeah, Oh, yeah.
So, again, Texas is coming off a bye.
Two weeks ago, they lost to Oklahoma and four overtime.
That was a fantastic game, and I had the call for the second half in the first overtime here on SportsCastr in the Lost bumped Texas down to two and two Baylor, also at 500 at one and one.
This is a pretty big game for both teams in Texas right now is on top.
And as the Texas unit lines up to kick off, it'll be Cameron ****er who will kick this one away and he'll kick it away, a booming one that goes just about a yard into the end zone.
It'll be brought out by Baylor across the 15 to the 20 all the way up to the 20 one, where he almost breaks free and then gets brought down his trust in Abner the senior.
So thank you go Rams for the thumbs up.
We appreciate it.
So first down and 10 for the Baylor Bears, 10 19 to go in the third quarter as Baylor's bound to come onto the field meeting on the sideline of right now and Sam Ellinger.
We actually saw moments ago going into the tent, the medical tent over here, so hopefully he's okay.
We'll see what's up with him right now.
Texas is still waiting for Baylor to come onto the field, and it does not look like Ellinger has exited the tent.
It's a trainer coming in tow.
Check on him right now, as Baylor lines out 1st and 10 Man in motion for the Bears in that quarterback is Charlie Brewer.
He takes the snap, fakes the handoff.
Brewer's gonna pass under pressure, rolling right, throws it, and that's incomplete.
Intended for Tai Kwan Thornton, that one just went out of bounds.
So it'll be 2nd and 10 for Brewer in the Bears, so Brewer will line up again.
What man in the backfield that'll be Abner, who just returned the kick moments ago.
A man in motion, it's Gavin homes.
Brewer takes the snap, fakes the handoff throwing, and that is caught by homes across all the way to the 28.
He gets knocked hard.
He almost stayed inbounds but he got actually up to the 29.
He was stumbling a big hit on homes, but so it'll be third short for Baylor.
Abner, now running off the field as Baylor makes their substitution, is Brewer calling out the place to the offensive lineman, 34 9 49 to go in the third.
Baylor's got five wide receivers on the field right now.
Actually, it looks like four in a tight end.
Hebner actually motions back in the backfield.
He did not come.
He's actually motioning to a wide receiver spot.
He did not come out of the game.
Brewer takes the snap.
He's gonna throw again.
Good blocking that passes tipped at the line, though it was intended for homes.
But that blocking was pretty good.
I'm it looks like a Texas lineman got a hand on it, so it'll be fourth and four and a quick three and out for Baylor as the punt team comes on.
So Brewer had some protection, but he was looking on the left side and that past was just batted down.
A nice play there by the Texas D lineman.
Yeah, yeah, on homes was not able to get to it.
So Isaac Power will come on the field to punch it away.
Low snap, but he kicks that one.
A booming kick now, all the way down to the 36 where it takes, Ah, hi, hop and goes out of bounds.
So a good punt there for power and Texas will start off with good field position at the their own 36 1st and 10.
So we'll see if Sam Ellinger is okay.
Looks like he's coming back on the field, but or no, he actually is, does not have a helmet on, so he's talking to his team.
Not sure if he's gonna come in or not.
It looks like he was talking to them about strategy or something, maybe giving a pep talk.
But he did not have a helmet on, so he may not be coming back in this game. We'll have to see.
It's in a commercial break right now.
The backup would be redshirt sop****re Casey Thompson if Ellinger was not able to return.
He finished the drive but maybe got injured on the touchdown.
But he looked OK.
He seemed to look okay coming off the field, then went into the medical tent, so we'll see if he's all right.
TX Guy t x 12 for joining the broadcast.
So we're still in a commercial break and we'll be back in a moment.
What's the more football? Yeah, Yeah, which All right, so I'm not really sure why this commercial break is taking so long.
I mean, maybe they have something that is on ESPN, but it won't be back in just a moment, I hope.
Here comes another advertise.
Add though these commercials, these It's significantly longer, for some reason than any other channel.
Like it's watching Fox for Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma game A couple of weeks ago.
It's commercial breaks were not nearly as long.
Really Not sure what's going on here is another one.
But once they get back, maybe.
Maybe Texas took a time out or something.
The only girl was trying to get ready.
I don't I don't know.
I don't have a definite answer for you.
Once it gets back, well, have some information about Ellinger status, Okay? Wow.
And it looks like it will be back in just a moment.
So we will be back here in just a moment.
Once I could go on mute.
And we'll see if a linger on the field is the camera slowly pans over to there.
Yes, he is. He's back.
He's in the shotgun now with two RBS in the backfield and there'll be a whistle and a flag down Russia on Johnson's, actually on the field for Texas.
But yes, Ellinger is back.
So there's a flag on the play.
Before we even get started, though, we'll see what this is about.
So that will be a false start on Texas that will back him up five yards 1st and 15.
And Baylor has had trouble stopping Texas lately.
Definitely a welcome gift for them.
Okay, 1st and 15.
19 to go in the third.
Ellen, you got a full back and running back in the backfield Now.
Fullback will line up is a tight end.
Snap hand off to Russia on Johnson.
Who will get one? There is this towel came off of his jersey second down and 14.
So nine minutes to go in the third quarter.
Here Texas on top 22 3 over Baylor.
Calling out the signals, sending a man in motion.
Johnson is back. He's back into the backfield.
Ellinger will pass looking fires complete to Johnson.
Johnson gets stopped breaking a couple tackles.
He actually gets all the way down to the 41 yard line, so it'll be third down in seven.
Nice little run for Johnson being getting really physical there and breaking a couple of tackles.
And Texas is now set up with a third and manageable.
Eleanor was being blitzed on the uH, left side.
Might have been a little bit of a hold on the play, but it was kind of hard to tell.
But there's a blitz coming in from Baylor from Jalen Petrie.
Third down and seven, Ellinger got two tight ends, two wide receivers in a running back.
He's gonna pass steps up under pressure, and he's brought down Sam.
Eleanor is sacked at the 35 yard line.
That is Bernard for Baylor, and they will have to punt.
Tarell Bernard, the linebacker getting in on that sack, and it's a key stop for Baylor Is Texas runs off the field after a three and out 4th and 11 and the punt team will come on.
So Ryan Bukovsky is your punter.
Tristen Epner is the returner, Bukovsky standing at about his own 20.
It's the referee's getting the place that up.
Ellinger has taken off his helmet again, and he will sit down on the bench.
He's not returning to the medical tent.
Gutkowski kicks that one to the right inside the 15 Abner fields that he'll return Epner running it right across the 20 to the 25.
Governor gets stuck on his own blocker.
He gets up to the 29.
He fell there after getting hit hard and his blockers still on the field being helped up.
But there's a late flag coming in on the play as well.
Looks like they're saying holding, Yes, yeah, Uh huh, Yeah, referees.
Still talking is over every single time.
If there's a penalty, it seems like a long talk Us going on.
It will be holding on Texas.
So, with 7 12 to go in third quarter, the I think that will be, um, enforced on the kick so Baylor will move up five yards.
It'll be 1st and 10 for the Bears.
So Baylor once again down 20 to 30 or 22 3.
Excuse me, but it's still about halfway through the third quarter.
Still got a chance to come back Now, After this, it'll be Michigan and Minnesota.
It's gonna be a fun game.
Toe watch later tonight, a Big 10 battle brewer in taking the snap fakes the handoff throws right side, completes it, finds his receiver.
It looks like that.
Was Thornton there? Who gets about nine yards? Yes, it was Tai Kwan Thornton.
So it'll be second down and maybe 1.
Hurry up here with Williams in the backfield.
Second and two, Brewer takes the snap.
Hands off toe Williams.
That was a good fake.
Williams, across the 50 all the way to the 45 couldn't tell for a second if he had it, and the Texas defense was fooled, too, so that run will get them the first down snap from Brewer.
Hand off to Williams again.
Williams finding some space all the way up to the 38.
A good run, their second and three.
And that'll be Craig will.
That is Craig Williams.
I believe for some reason, he wasn't on the roster that I had.
Brewer completes the pass inside the 35 for the first down.
A nice completion there, but yes, uh, Craig Williams is his name, so it wasn't on the depth chart again I had.
It's very odd, but either right? Ben Sims, the tight end made that catch.
So it's first intended.
The 31 Baylor suddenly driving, actually, at the 32 Brewer hands it off.
This is Evan ER.
This time Abner escapes inside the 25 Abner dies up all the way up to the 21 and a half.
That'll be a first down 10 yards for trust in Abner, and Baylor's offense is really moving.
Now they're looking to make this a ball game.
Texas is defense looking drastically different from the last drive right now is they're just letting Baylor eat up chunks of yardage.
Abner gets the ball again, and it looked like he was stopped until he escaped for about four to the left side.
Taylor is in the red zone now second and six ball in about the 18 yard line, actually, second in seven.
They won't give him four.
They'll give him three.
Brewer in the shotgun, got a running back, three wide receivers in a tight end.
He's gonna pass.
No, he's gonna run, breaks a tackle.
Brewer steps over, and he actually was not completely able to break out of that.
That will be a sack for Texas, a nice tackle, thereby to Kwan Graham, the defense of tackle.
So it'll be third down.
Brewers tried to escape.
It looked like he had trying to step over Graham, but Graham was not having it.
He brought him down for the sack.
Third down, now third and nine as Baylor tries to keep this drive alive.
Suddenly, the momentum has shifted.
Texas fans on their feet here limited capacity at the Texas Stadium right now D k R Texas Memorial Stadium.
Brewer sends a man in motion, takes the snap.
It's a little pitch that will technically be a past, but it'll be blown up at the 25.
Ah, stop for Texas again.
A nice tackle there for the Texas defense that will be two on Mitchell on the tackle.
He was able to bring down the receiver that was Josh flicks, who ran it, and Baylor will have to settle for a field goal.
This will be a 43 yard ER.
Actually, they may give him that forward progress.
So maybe about a 42 yard ER.
So if Baylor makes this, it'll be a two possession game.
So the field goal unit is coming on.
Now it's This will be a 43 yard ER.
It'll be John Mayer's who was kicking it and the kick is up and it is no good.
Ah, little bit left.
In short, Not a good kick for Baylor at all, but Texas holds on to their lead.
It is still 22 3.
Baylor jogs off the field with 3 40 one to go in the third quarter, and Texas will get to come on the field again, trying to extend their lead.
I don't know if this field goal was blocked.
It doesn't look like it was.
It was just not short, actually, just a little bit to the left sort of hooked it there.
But Texas will come back onto the field for 1st and 10 after this commercial break.
Yeah, so we were in a commercial break now, as Texas is trying to get to three and two on the season, they would do so with a win over Baylor. Baylor wins.
They will get to two and one, right? Yeah, And so once we're back Texas, we'll start off with the ball after this missed field goal from Baylor.
They will start off at the 20 four yard line.
Yeah, yeah, Andi and these commercials should end pretty soon.
Once they wrap up.
Once again, Texas will start off with the ball here late in the third quarter, 3 41 to go.
Hold on, just getting a call, so I will be back in a moment.
But it's just commercials.
Right now, you're not missing anything, all right? I am back, and the game is not.
It's still in a commercial here.
Yeah, so we are finally back now here at DK R Texas Memorial Stadium.
Texas is on Top 22 3 year with 3 41 to go in the third quarter, and they will line up with their own 25 to start it off.
Ellinger gives the handoff to Chianti Ingram Ingram, stumbling up and running and spinning and getting about eight yards, their second and two come.
So a solid run there for Ingram, and it'll be second down in two.
I linger in the shotgun now, with two tight ends, two wide receivers in the running back.
He'll give it to Ingram again.
Ingram escapes through a hole on the left side.
You will get about five yards up to the 38 getting a first down.
Ellinger is 11 for 18 for 183 yards and a score passing on the day.
He's also had 14 attempts for 42 yards and a score on the ground.
So pretty good game.
But yeah, 1st and 10 Ellinger sending a tight end in motion to the right back to the left.
Ellinger will pass, Not much pressure, looking deep, throwing over the middle, and that is caught a deep ball deep into Baylor territory.
A nice completion there for Texas, as Ellinger finds his receiver, Jared Wiley, the tight end and Wylie will bring it down.
I think that's a round balers 30 yard line right there, a nice play that's actually looks like inside the 15 all the way to about the 13 so Texas is in the red zone.
A nice play there by Jared Wiley and Ellinger is over 200 passing yards on the day 1st and 10 as the Texas Longhorns are driving once again.
So a nice connection there, good blocking by the offensive line.
Ellinger has got three wide receivers, a tight end and running back on the field.
But on the 14 man in motion, Ellinger snaps just before the play clock expires.
It's complete to his receiver, who gets all the way up to about the 10 yard line there.
Found his man, and it'll be second and six.
So that was Calvin Dixon, actually, who caught that.
He wasn't on the depth chart, either, for some reason.
So it's second in six Ellinger, two tight ends, two wide receivers in Chianti.
Ingram takes the snap gives to Ingram Ingram running left off tackle all the way up to about the nine.
He only gets about a yard and a half third down now Baylor trying to hold Texas to a field goal as Ingram jogs off the field to be replaced by Bichon Robinson.
The Longhorns, so far today, seven for 12 on third downs over a 50% success rate.
They've got their 13th attempt here, third and five 35 seconds to go in the third quarter.
Ellinger got four wide outs on the field, actually, five wideouts on the field right now.
As Robinson lines out wide, Eleanor takes the snap rolling right, Ellinger looking.
It's an option play.
He'll run it inside the five he gets in the end zone.
Touchdown sama linger.
That's his second rushing touchdown of the day.
That one from nine yards out in Texas is on top, 26 to 3 20 seconds to go in the third quarter.
They have scored 23 unanswered points, and the extra point would put them up by 24 six.
Play drive there.
The highlight was the wily catch that got them all the way down to the 14.
And on third and five, Ellinger ran it in from nine yards out, and the Cameron ****er extra point will come in just a moment and he's lined up.
It's actually kind of go through.
So Texas is on top 27 to 3.
20 seconds to go in the third quarter.
Is Ellinger talking with his teammates 15 attempts, 51 yards, two touchdowns to go with 12 for 19 for 230 yards and a passing touchdown.
Ellinger has had a fantastic game.
It's a nice option play there.
All five Texas lineman went to the right as Ehlinger rolled to his right look for receivers, and when he couldn't find any, he ranted himself, got into the end zone for the score.
So again, the touchdown in the extra point put Texas up by 24 as they will kick to Baylor here late in the third quarter.
Getting fainter of trying to come back, right, Ellinger 13 for 20 for 234 yards and touchdown passing.
Like I mentioned, he had 15 rushes for 51 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
As the kickoff is coming, yeah, and it will go up in a way.
A booming kick that flies into the end zone where Baylor will take a knee trust in Hebner was the returner as the Texas defense is coming on the field now, so Ellinger has a headset on on the sidelines.
Now, as the Texas defense is coming onto the field.
Brewer takes the snap here on 1st and 10 looking to his right side, finds his receiver complete for the first down, about 13 yards up to the 38.
Nice completion there to Gavin Homes.
That should be the last play of the third quarter.
He's trying to line up, but it looks like they won't get it off in time.
With three seconds left in the third quarter, Baylor begins to set up, but they are gonna have to walk off the field.
It's the end of the third quarter now.
Baylor has a 1st and 10 at their own 38.
Texas is on top, 27 to 3, but don't go away.
I mean, we saw Texas come back two weeks in a row before.
Now they're on top.
But who's to say that Baylor doesn't come back? So we will be back.
So we are still in a commercial break right now.
Oh, at the end of the third quarter, Texas is on top 27 to 3.
Yeah, Texas has actually scored 24 unanswered points.
So they've actually scored 27 unanswered points.
That field goal that tied it up in 323 was from Texas.
Hard to believe that Baylor was actually leading this game at the end of the first quarter, but the game momentum has completely shifted.
So the fourth quarter here is about to get started.
Yeah, mhm as we have hit about 41 minutes now on the street, I just start the fourth quarter.
College football action around the league being played today almost hit 70.
Views on the stream is, well, that's good.
The next person to come in, we'll make it number 70 almost hit 6400 views all time on this channel.
So way will be heading into the fourth quarter in just a moment after this long, long commercial break.
Yeah, so we are back now here.
A D k R Texas Memorial Stadium.
Start of the fourth quarter fans taking Selfies with the cardboard cutouts that are in stands, and Baylor has the ball at their own 38 1st and 10 Brewer in the shotgun going to give it to Williams.
Williams gets stopped in the backfield for no gain.
Nice play by the Texas defense there.
It'll be 2nd and 10 leading the charge on that play, with Juwan Mitchell the linebacker again, getting in on the play.
Second and nine.
Brewer in the shotgun again, four wide receivers and running back on the field takes the snap.
He's gonna pass Brewer pockets collapsing throws completes the pass across midfield to the 48.
Finding his receiver there for the first down on the catch was Josh Leaks, so it'll be first in 10 as Brewers running up.
Now Abner's on the field as running back, and they're running a hurry up offense now.
Brewer 20 for 30 for 165 yards on the day and Baylor trying to get some new life here.
Not much time left.
Brewer throws over the middle, Complete, finds his receiver again.
That'll be Gavin Homes, another first down.
But there's a late there's actually a flag coming, and I don't think it was a late flag, but there is a flag coming in on the play, so we'll see what this is about.
If it stands, the completion of the homes will be at first down.
So it will actually be targeting on Texas.
And I think that well shouldn't result.
That should result in ejection.
Oh, man, that was Ah, hard hit from the Texas defender.
They didn't take any spend any time, waste any time calling that.
Shawn Jamison, the cornerback, and then wasted no time calling that targeting.
But what a hit there on DSO that would I assume hijacked Jamison from the game as they're showing the replay, I think this type of penalty is reviewable.
Yeah, so, yes, it is being reviewed, but the ruling is targeting.
They have overturned.
Or if kept it, they should.
Jamison D Shawn Jamison would be ejected from the game.
I believe she's walking around with a cap on on the sidelines.
And this review is just about finished, and the call was reversed.
That was very quick.
So it wasn't helmet to helmet contact there, but I guess they ruled Jamison's hit was not targeting.
He will stay on the field now.
First down in 10 for Baylor.
Yeah, that was an unusually quick targeting call there that it was unusually quick reversal.
It's very interesting.
Jamison, the 5 ft 10 junior out of Houston, Texas.
He's covering Thornton right now.
Low snap for Brewer.
He'll hand it off.
Oh, a double jet sweep here.
Epner catches Ednor throws.
It completes a brewer who gets about seven, but there will be a flag on the play.
A double jet sweep there where? Abner through the past toe. Brewer.
But there's another flag.
We'll see what this is about, so it'll be an illegal formation that will be first in 15.
Well, I guess where that it looked like the where the two wide receivers were lined up may have been illegal.
Hard to tell them, but it will be first in 15 4 wide receivers and tight end for Brewer.
Nobody in the backfield he's gonna pass while on the 39 Brewer steps up.
Now looking dumps it off toe Abner Abner.
Inside the 35 spins inside, the 30 gets knocked out of bounds at about the 27 making it in third and manageable here.
Third and three, a nice play by Evan ER.
It'll actually be second down.
Illegal formation did not give them the loss of down so second and three nice move there by Epner, who just spun out of a tackle.
Got some extra yardage, and it'll be second in four at the 28 yard line of Texas Brewer.
444 for 51 yards.
You've got a tight end, three wide receivers and running back on the field, 12 43 to go in the fourth quarter.
He takes the snap. He's gonna pass.
Brewer throws over the middle Inside the 10. It is caught.
He finds his man, Charlie Brewer, now five for five on the drive.
That's gonna be Ben Sims, the tight end for his second catch of the half.
And it will be first and goal for Baylor, who is knocking on the door now down.
20 for Baylor, looking to the Earth Brewer looking to the sideline now.
This will be the seventh play of the drive.
Brewers got three wide receivers, a tight end and running back Abner on the field, 12 14 to go in the fourth.
Brewer will throw it again.
No, he's gonna run it, Brewer, inside the five spins gets down to about the three and a half second and goal now with 12 minutes left in the fourth.
Some words being exchanged between Texas and Baylor players Right now, as Brewer looks to the sideline again, now getting his team ready.
Yeah, clock is still running now.
Not much time left for Baylor to come back.
Evan ER in the backfield.
Three wide receivers.
Not even er Excuse me, but that passes batted down, nearly intercepted.
It will be third down and goal.
It was actually Jon Lovett, the senior who was in the backfield, not even ER.
So it'll be third down and goal now.
De Marvin over Shown was on the play there.
Almost picked that one off.
So third down and goal about the 3.
5 Bears three for 11 on third downs.
Today, Brewer gets the low snap looking, finds his running back John Savitt, touchdown.
Baylor or John Love.
Excuse me, That's love its second play of the drive, but he got the touchdown on it.
Three yard catch there, and Baylor is within 18.
It might be going for to hear.
That should be a possibility, because that would make it a two score game.
But a nice play there, finding love it who was wide open.
Good. Read by Brewer, who was under pressure.
I love it. Got the touchdown.
They are gonna go for two.
So the ball is placed at the three yard line like it is for two point conversions in college love.
It's in the backfield again.
Brewer in the shotgun with love it to his left.
The two point conversion would put Baylor within 16.
It will be a two score game.
Bhura takes the snap under pressure throws.
And that is incomplete.
Er, yeah, I will not be complete.
It looked like he may have gotten 1 ft in, but Thornton was not ableto He stepped out of bounds first, so it'll be incomplete.
So Baylor is now within 18.
Still a three score game, but not much time left for them as Yeah, I guess that was not a catches.
They showed the replay.
So we will go to a commercial break.

All right, So we're still in a commercial break now.
Here? Yeah, As Baylor now trying to come back here? Yeah.
So once we get back from this commercial break, Texas will get the ball.
Baylor will be looking to get a three and out down 18 here, trying to come back from 24 down in the fourth quarter.
This would be impressive as Texas has scored 27 unanswered points or had scored that until they lurk out there. Touchdown.
And it is now 6.
21 PM Eastern time, 3.
21 Pacific as this game is wrapping up here in the afternoon.
So we're about to be back.
Baylor will be kicking off.
Yeah, Texas to return.
And the cannon is ready to be fired as the kickoff will come.
Yeah, and the kick is away.
Let it go through to the back of the end zone.
The returner, they're letting it go.
That was did Shaun Jamieson.
Who's gonna We're actually Excuse me.
I mean, they were actually, it could have been Sean Jamison or be John Robinson.
Both of them are number five.
Both of them are listed on special teams as the 1st and 2nd kickoff returner.
I'm going to assume it's be John Robinson is John Jamison because he's at the top of the returning depth chart.
That's kind of funny, and there's no names on the back of the jersey is no way for me to tell.
I know what's Robinson in the backfield right now? Because he's a running back and Jamison's a corner.
Ellinger sends a man in motion handoff Robinson.
Robinson gets about 1.5.
It'll be second down.
Texas is probably just going to salt away the clock here.
Landry was in on the tackle for Baylor.
Second and eight.
I linger, getting ready now under 11 minutes to go here in the fourth quarter.
He's the time on the clock handoff to Robinson Robinson running left again.
This time, he's brought down after about three, so it'll be third and five.
So, so a key third down here coming for Baylor.
Ellinger has played a solid game today, leading his team to a big lead.
Third down in six.
Al Anger got three wide receivers a tight end and running back on the field, they actually know Tight end four wide receiver.
Excuse me calling out the play here.
On the play clock, he looked like he audibled.
He will pass Ellinger going deep.
He saw something he liked and that will be intercepted by Baylor running it back across the 40 here, across the 30 down to the 25 all the way to the 24 yard line.
Ellinger saw something he liked in the formation was throwing it deep.
But that one got picked off by the Baylor defense, and they will be starting off at the 24 yard line.
What a nice read.
It was actually tipped by one Baylor defender and picked off there by the other.
Ah, good team effort.
JT Woods there on the pick, and it looks like the tip came from, uh, Logan Ashton.
So Ashton tipped it toe Woods.
Woods ran it back.
Ellinger was that passed was intended for Jared Wiley, the tight end who had actually had a deep ball. Earlier.
He thought he saw a mismatch, but just a terrible throw by Ellinger and a nice play by Baylor.
And they're down at the 24 back in business, and suddenly this game is all turned around, So do not go away.
This is a new ballgame.
Brewers got two running backs in the backfield of low Snap, almost on the ground.
Fix the handoff past.
Complete the homes homes get gets eight yards here, and Baylor is in the red zone, second and two with 9 40 to go in the fourth quarter, second down in two for the Bears.
So an ill fated audible there for Ellinger, who could have shootout Mork lock by running it.
And here's Brewer fakes.
The handoff fires again, complete to Thornton.
Thornton gets the first down all the way down to the 10 yard line.
They won't call it first and goal, I guess, but it's pretty much first and goal.
The ball is at the 11.
Brewers got three wide receivers to the left, one of the right, a running back in the backfield.
I believe Brewer takes the snap.
He's gonna run it himself on a Q B draw Brewer inside the five and runs out of bounds.
No point in diving for the pylon he wasn't really that close.
He did not die for it, made the smart play and ran out of bounds.
So it'll be second and four at the five yard line.
Brewer tried to lead his team back here, clock running, even though he went out of bounds 8 45 to go in the fourth quarter.
Russia's for just 16 yards On the day, second down and four of the five yard line.
Brewer got two tight ends, two wide receivers and running back on the field, second down and four actually three wide receiver Excuse me fake Q B draw, and it was bobbled on the toss.
Abner Abner lost about a yard, maybe a yard and a half.
So it'll be third down and five third down.
And six maybe, as Brewer faked the Q B run to the left.
But maybe he should have just ran it himself there on that option play as Abner bobbled the ball and lost about two so third down and six for the Baylor Bears at the 74 for 12 on third downs this game.
Four wide receivers, now five.
As Epner lines out wide to the left, actually got a tight end.
It looks like who's lining up in the slot now. Abner is back in the backfield.
I believe that's a tight end.
Yeah, he's got a tight end.
Number five on the play clock.
Brewer takes the snap, good protection throws over the middle, Caught.
That's a touchdown for Baylor Gavin Homes from seven yards out, and the Baylor Bears have scored their second touchdown in the fourth quarter there on a 12 run, 12 unanswered points.
And if they went for two, they could actually get within 10 of the Longhorns with 7 37 to go in the fourth quarter.
That interception proved to be very costly, as Baylor is now storming back down 24 entering the third quarter.
So the play the drive goes for 25 yards on five plays, and Baylor will just be kicking the extra point here.
And it is good a chip shot extra 50.
Baylor has 13 unanswered points.
It is a new ballgame.
I told you not to go away if you left your missing a lot.
The return there on the interception brought them all the way back to the 25 from J. T. Woods.
And then Gavin Homes came in clutch again.
He's had a few catches in this half, and the Bears are within 11.
So we're in a commercial break.
And this is shaping up to be an exciting finish after a not so exciting third quarter that you saw Texas go up big on Baylor.
So the stream has just reached a little bit over an hour.
And the most exciting part is yet to come as we have hit six over 6400 viewers all time.
Thank you, everyone for watching if you watch the stream you helped out.

I frequently tweet.
I just tweeted earlier today.
I mean, not too frequently, Just like not like regularly, but not like crazy frequently or anything, but I tweeted about my, uh, favorite bilos and sell highs for fantasy football.
I've been done that a couple times, and those picks have worked out pretty well, so I mean, I decided to do it again.
I mean, it's always fun to come up with those, and you should definitely check it out.
And if you have any questions, you can comment on that tweet.
I'll be happy to answer them or if you have your own bilos and sell highs that you think I missed.
I mean, just because I put three of each does not mean there are not mawr that are very viable options.
And, yeah, this is my third.
I think I've been streaming bunch of Texas games.
This is the third one that I've streamed this season.
I streamed Texas TCU did Texas Oklahoma, and I did Texas and Baylor, which is going on today.
I'm doing that right now.
So welcome back to Texas vs Baylor here on SportsCastr.
As the commercial break ends, if you want to sync up your TV and follow along with the broadcast, you can find the game on ESPN.
Charlie Brewer is on the sideline, talking with his teammates now, after the touchdown pass to Gavin Holmes, who was sort of running a crossing route there as he was wide open and got into the end zone for the score.
So a nice play as Texas now breaks the huddle and they will be kicking off now with 7 37 to go in the fourth quarter.
I believe that is gonna be be John Robinson.
Who's returning, but or maybe no, actually, to Sean Jamison, I believe, looks like Sean Jamison when we saw him earlier. So, yeah, I did.
Sean Jamison is returning it.
Same number, No name on the jersey.
How am I supposed to tell the kick off goes through the end zone for the touch back.
So Texas will start off with the 25.
They had a interception on their last drive.
That set up Baylor, and right now they're showing a studio update.
Penn State and Baylor.
It's been a really been state in Indiana.
Excuse me has been a really good game.
A nice little Q B run there by Sean Cliff for two.
I think Penn State's up 24 to 20.
That was from earlier in the game, so Texas lines up with the 25 yard line, Ellinger got four wide receiver, three wide receivers, a tight end and Chianti Ingram on the field.
Sending a man in motion to the left in the backfield actually is a fullback handoff to Ingram.
Ingram running left.
Ingram got some space breaks.
A tackle now trying to break another tackle, pushes forward for about two wrapped up by a couple of Baylor defenders.
Right there, it'll be second and eight.
And you Actually Indiana's on top of Penn State, 22 14.
Penn State is eighth ranked of the country, so that could be a big upset.
Another Big 10 game Michigan and Minnesota coming on pretty soon, but it'll be second down and ate with 706 to go in the fourth quarter, Ellinger got two tight ends, two wide receivers and running back on the field.
He fakes the handoff on the play action.
Ellinger, rolling right throws over the middle, finds a wide open receiver for a first down across midfield.
A nice fine there.
That was Jared Wiley, the intended target on the interception.
That's his second deep catch of the half.
It will be first in 10 now with 6 45 to go, Wildly has two receptions for 70 yards on the day.
Ehlinger looking to the sidelines Now as now, they can choose some more clock.
Texas gets a conversion here.
Now they're at midfield.
Texas has got one tight end, three wide receivers and Ingram the running back on the backfield in the backfield.
Ingram now being sent in motion from the right to the left, two on the play clock.
Ellinger takes the snap.
Gives it to Ingram.
Ingram, running right.
Find some space trying to break some tackles.
He does gets about eight as he's brought down near the sideline at the 42 yard line, Second in two.
Baylor needs to get a stop here, but Texas is rolling six minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
They've Texas's ran the ball 40 times today.
Passed it just 22 and some more to clock, some more clock chewing.
Happening as the snap will come.
Ellinger got three wide receivers and tight end in a running back on the field.
Once again, eight On the play clock, Ellinger sends a tight end in motion and Ingram in motion as well, the left side of the backfield.
He'll take the snap give to Ingram again.
Ingram trying to choke.
And this time, he's brought down for no gain.
Stopped in the backfield by the Baylor defense.
A nice tackle there for Tarell Bernard, the linebacker.
It'll be third down into, and Texas will try to convert.
This, this is would be a huge for Baylor.
They need this stop down two scores right now.
Bernard has 18 tackles on the season.
That's his season high for him. He's a junior.
Ellinger got two tight ends running back to wide receivers on in the game.
Ellinger gonna jet sweep it here on third and to Joshua more running this one.
But he's brought down for a loss of about half a yard, a nice play there by the Baylor defense.
It looks like he almost got out of bounds to clock was running.
But now it's stopped after a late flag on the play celebrations coming in from Baylor after that one.
Yeah, but we'll see what this is about.
A nice stopped their Baylor was not fooled on the Jets sweep to Joshua more so it's gonna be a personal foul on Texas, I believe unnecessary roughness.
So that's actually gonna hurt.
I think that results in a loss of down.
So Baylor might want to accept that.
Yeah, that after the play, one of the Texas offensive lineman just shoved.
Ah, player there.
The victim of the shove was If I can find him, um, Kaylan.
Barnes was shoved by Derek, cursed at her right there at the end of the play.
That's gotta hurt and cursed at her, fell on top of one of the coaches, their 4th and 18.
So I'm not really sure why he had to do that.
But the clock is running right now as Texas is about to punt and the snap comes in and the kick is away.
Evan er feels it at the 15 running backwards, now running to the right.
Epner, trying to find some space, breaks a tackle going back and back and back, and he is now down at about the nine.
They couldn't bring him down, but 401 to go for Baylor.
They're going to start their own nine.
The game's not over yet, though.
Still enough time to score.
Baylor's got all three of their time outs.
Then they could get the ball back.
So still a chance for the Bears to come back from 24 down? We'll see what happens after this commercial break.
So being down 11 right now, if they score touchdown, they would probably opt for the two point conversion that if they got it, they would get within three, and then a field goal could tie it up and send it to overtime or a touchdown could win it.
Or Texas could chew up enough clock toe, win the football game.
So right now, we will be back in a moment with four or one to go in the fourth quarter.
Okay? Baylor losing to Texas, 27 to 16.
But Baylor is making it a ball game here, a the end making every last effort.
And Baylor needs to score a squiggly as possible here.
Not much time, So a quick score would really be beneficial.
We'll be back in a moment after this commercial break, which just about to end.
Okay, Tomorrow we'll have a lot of NFL action.
I'll be recapping that on the Episode 35 of the second goal fantasy podcast, which will release on Wednesday morning.
So Brewer, now in his own nine, about to take the snap, sending Ednor in motion fakes.
The handoff throws a banner left side Abner, find some space across the 20.
Abner breaks another tackle, tried to get out of bounds but is down in bounds of the 22 clock stops temporarily for a first down as Texas.
Gonna do some substitution or actually, no, they're not.
It doesn't. They're just lining up here.
Hurry up offense right now.
Brewer got three wide receivers to the right, one to the left.
He's got a man in the backfield is Epner.
I believe Brewer takes the snap under pressure. Rolling.
Brewer, still under pressure, throws on the run, and it's complete.
Gavin Homes gets out of bounds, their second down.
That game will pick up about six, so it'll be second down in five with 3 10 to go in the fourth quarter.
They're running down too much time.
Right now, the Baylor is Jon Lovett, the senior in the game, now in the backfield.
Taking the snap now is Brewer throws toe Lovett complete love it, trying to juke now getting up to the 30.
The clock won't stop that.
It was about two yards short of the first down, and now they gotta hurry to 48 to go in the fourth quarter.
Baylor's normal offense.
Not getting it done right now.
Third down and to 2 40 to go in the fourth quarter, Brewer steps back four wide receivers and running back in the game for them.
Now Brewer throws right side in, complete off the hands of Thornton.
It will be forth into that is a brutal drop for the Baylor Bears, and now they're gonna have to go for it deep in their own territory.
With 2 25 to go in the fourth quarter, Texas fans on their feet here getting excited on fourth down into Brewer, got all five wide receivers along with his linemen.
Nobody in the backfield.
He'll take the snap.
A whistle, though, blows the play dead.
Texas will actually has taken a time out, so no flag, just a whistle, so the clock should be reset from 2 24 to 25 so we head into a commercial break.
Texas clearly saw something they didn't like they're calling the time out.
So we will be back in just a moment here after this commercial break wraps up, Baylor coming up on a key fourth down and to after this commercial break ends.
So we will be back air in just a moment.
All right, so we will be back in a moment.
This commercial break is just about wrapped up.
Yeah, as we will get going on 1/4 and two for Baylor at their own 30.
Brewer now got five wide receivers in the game, three to the right, to the left in the shotgun, empty backfield.
Now Epner goes to his left, and before the snap, it looks like there may have been a false start there.
It looks like buyers moved on the offensive line.
He's clearly frustrated with himself there that will cost him five yards.
Virginia Tech just got knocked off by wake there on the upset.
Penn State in Indiana? Not quite finished yet.
Don't both think, but Indiana was leading for a while so forth and seven now for Baylor.
Brewer got five wide receivers in the game a little bit tougher now for them to get this conversion from their own 25.
Low snap brewer throws over the middle, incomplete.
So Texas will knock that one down.
And that will just about do it.
Game is not quite over yet, but it is very close.
As Texas is celebrating walking off the field, they'll get the ball at the barely 25.
Nice coverage there.
Brewer tried to fit it into a tight window, and the completion was not happening there.
The ball was intended for R.
Snead, the wide receiver, his first, uh, target of the half, I believe.
So first down and 10 now with 2 19 to go in the fourth quarter, Ellinger in the shotgun.
Right now, too wide, receivers too tight ends in a running back.
He'll hand it off to Robinson, who gets stopped for a loss of two and a time out.
Comes in for Baylor there first, so the teams will talk this over here 2nd and 12.
Right now, Baylor could get the ball back.
They theoretically still have a chance, but it's not that big of one 2 13 to go in the game.
No two minute warning in college.
Baylor's got there two timeouts left.
So 2nd and 12 now for the Longhorns.
Ellinger handing it off Robinson Robinson running left Robinson all the way up to the 20.
Maybe the 19 Texas is in the red zone now.
It'll be third down and Fouras Baylor takes their second time out of the half.
A bailar player is down on the field right now, though.
We'll see if he's OK, so it looks like it will be.
I think that's Ryan Miller, who is down in the field, the defensive tackle.
So hopefully he's okay, but it'll be third and four now or 35 actually, for ER, for Texas, this will be their 67th play of the game.
Baylor's ran 65 Indiana still beating Penn State 22 14 with 3 25 left in the fourth quarter and off to Robinson here on 35.
He won't get the first down down at the 17 and Baylor will take their final time out with 21 to go in the fourth.
So Texas, for Texas a field goal, will put them up by 14.
Baylor could conceivably score getting onside kick and score again, but it is very unlikely, but we'll have to see what happens here.
They'll definitely try to prevent Texas from getting that field goal either way.
Now 309 left in the fourth.
Same score in the Penn State Indiana game so forth, down in three now, as Texas will presumably get ready to kick the field goal here, they may decide to go for it and maybe put the game away now.
Yeah, they're actually gonna decide to go for it now.
Ah, Field goal would make it a 14 point game.
Texas going a little risky.
Here is Ellinger is actually gonna pass. It's complete.
Finds his tight end inside the 10 down to the five where he is down at about the four yard line.
The tight end catches the short little dump off risky play there as the clock stops for first and goal.
But that should just about do it.
Baylor is out of time outs as Texas went for it on fourth and three.
They got it, and Baylor's offense will not see the field anymore as it is now.
First and goal with a minute.
Texas in the victory formation or something.
Kneel down. Should just about do it.
Maybe even to kneel.
Downs second and goal now.
So Texas will get out of here with a 27 to 16 victory.
There are now three and two on the season.
Baylor down toe one and two.
Sure, So Ehlinger will have to go down to a knee one more time.
And that should just about do. It.
Gets the snap, goes down to a knee, and that is the game.
Okay, third down and goal now as a linger still on the field, but one player takes his helmet off.
That should just about do it.
Postgame hugs and pats on the back between Texas and Baylor and Texas gets out of here with the 27 to 16 victory.
Thanks so much for tuning in.
This was second in gold sport stocks broadcast of Texas vs Baylor, the second half as the coaches and players coming onto the field.
Now we will see you next time
