We won't say his name until we say.
How's it going, Grant? Doing good.
Well, hope everyone enjoys another edition of the sports talk show.
I'm grand fluff.
Influx of sport zone.
Yeah, It should definitely be a good one.
Quite a stuff happened over the past couple of days.
And, yeah, I'm not gonna say the big news.
Of course, you might know already, and we'll certainly get to it.
Not going to say the big news, but yeah, pretty crazy stuff.
And then you tell us over to Sam.
Hope you enjoy a good episode.
Yes. Thank you very much, Grant.
As Grant said right there and Isaacs at the top of the broadcast.
There's no shortage of topics to discuss.
That's for certain.
And, yeah, I'm just excited to get right into it.
I'll toss it back to Isaac.
I'm Samuel Reese and thank you, everybody, for spending your Friday night with us on another edition of the all sports talk show.
So make sure on the bottom of your screen, make sure to follow our social media accounts.
How about this? That's the all sports talk to social media accounts, but before you start.
We will go over there.
We're gonna do this first, because towards the end, we don't get as many viewers are about now.
Streams that are upcoming in our social media.
Grant will start with you.
What we're doing? Yeah.
Just dreams you're doing upcoming.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So after this broadcast, I'll actually going on for probably the last few innings of Game three between the Dodgers and the Rays.
Then tomorrow looks like go beyond for Game four.
And then Sunday, I'll be doing the Patriots 40 Niners at 4 25.
And then Monday will most likely be the Monday night game between the Bears and the Rams or Game five of the world's Siri's.
We'll see sooner towards the date, but yes, pretty much out coming schedule for the next few days.
Yeah, I actually have a very similar schedule schedule.
Looking forward to a great weekend of both based in baseball and football.
I'll also be doing the conclusion of Game three in the world.
Siri's after, uh, this show comes to an end, but definitely check out Grant before he check out me because he does a great job as well.
Siri's definitely has been, uh, very interesting so far.
Siri's tied up 11 a critical Game three and the Dodgers currently up one.
Nothing in the second inning.
Um, I'll probably be doing game for tomorrow as well.
And then you already know I'm on for the return of Jimmy G to Foxboro, Patriots, 40 Niners and what's a huge game for both teams? But obviously, since I'm a Patriots fan, it's the first time since what 2002 that they have a losing record after five games.
So this could be a big game in the overall scheme of the season for New England in terms of which direction they go in.
So, yeah, big game, no doubt about it from Foxboro.
So I'll be on the call for that on Sunday at 4 25.
And, yeah, just a just a lot of NFL in world.
Siri's coming up on my schedule when it comes to play by play commentary.
Also, the next couple of Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I'll be doing a whip around show of you UEFA Champions League action.
So for those of you who are soccer fans, obviously, the Champions League, the best soccer competition in the world, and it got underway this past week.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be on the on the call for any games.
But I will be doing whip around coverage of champions of the Games on weeks where the Champions League is an action on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
So I'm definitely looking forward to that as well.
Okay, Thanks, Sam.
So we'll get started.
But you guys don't know.
I mean, look, we understand that all of you on social media every minute, but this is bigger than Tom Brady signing.
But it could be as surprising.
Maybe not because Tom Brady was going all out for this guy and his name is no one under Antonio Brand.
I thought it's the troublemaker.
The rumors the last few days with the CIA caps And guess what, Up until an hour before this move happened, we heard that he was going to meet with the Buccaneers so they won't even look.
I'm not going to say they want rumors that he was gonna sign with the Bucks because we knew Tom Brady was going all that for Antonio Brown.
But like Grant posted on his Instagram what a few months ago? How Bruce Arians said he doesn't want him. 26.
Mark your calendar.
Bruce Arian said he wasn't signing Antonio Brown.
And then and then, like people are saying on Social Media, got Tom Brady.
Can't act like he's the coach or the owner of his team.
And the Bruce Arians doesn't want Antonio Brown.
Then he doesn't go to the Bucks.
But guess what? Tom Brady is that special.
It gets a big target, but a big target.
I mean, look, we know the Buccaneers already have one of the best offenses.
Leonardo Fournette Ronald.
Ronald Jones has been amazing, and we could talk about that later in the show.
But anyway, you have Leonardo fernet Ronald Jones to stacked running backs.
When I say stacked, they're both average, maybe even above average may say, and then you have to pro ball right receivers at a third one, and this guy is a Hall of Fame receiver.
He probably won't make it any more because of the troubles he's had.
But in terms of skill level, he's a Hall of Fame receiver.
So Sam will start with you.
I wanted to say I was the lucky one to see Antonio Brown's last NFL game, and as of now, it was his last centerfold game.
But we way, Yeah, weeknight against the Saints that speak should be over.
I can still say I saw his last game in a Patriot uniform, but anyway, uniform his loan game.
What do you think? That's funny.
Yeah, it's It's a it's a bit wild, honestly, like this.
All developed, you know, Over the course of this evening, it was like, Oh, yeah, he's gonna visit Thio, visit Tampa Bay and then, like 30 minutes later, the reports that like, Oh, Tampa Bay is the front runner now And then 30 minutes later, okay, he's signed with Tampa Bay.
And so all that Seattle talk is out the door all of a sudden.
But yeah, I mean, it's it's a bit crazy to me, like I'm not surprised, because for whatever reason, Tom Brady is obsessed with this horrible human being, and I do not.
I don't get it, But he is, and Tom Brady is the greatest of all time, and so he's going to get what he wants.
I mean, he basically forced the Patriots to get him, and now he's forcing the Buccaneers to get him.
And yeah, as you said, I'm interested to see how it works out with Bruce Arians as the coach.
Because Bruce Arians back in March, as you guys said he he noted that, Yeah, that's he's a diva.
He's never gonna fit on our team and we're never going to get him.
And Bruce Arians was the offensive coordinator with the Steelers when Brown was there, and those two had issues.
So I'm really interested to see how that chemistry works out for sure.
But my question, My first question is like Will Antonio Brown? Where will he be in a month? Because we saw, you know, the disaster in Vegas.
First off, where he didn't play a game, Um, or they were in Oakland at the time, but with the Raiders and then on.
Then hey played a single game for the Patriots.
And then he was released.
After what, like 10 10 days on the roster, s O.
I mean Clearly the guy is getting unlimited chances and opportunities.
You know, Uh, and it's the unfortunate reality of sports.
If you have the if you have the talent and if you're one of the best players in the NFL, or if you can be one of the best players in the NFL like Antonio Brown, it doesn't matter how bad of a human being you are.
You're going to get chance after chance after chance.
And we're seeing that time and time again with Antonio Brown and uh, yeah, his.
His off field issues are clearly still a big issue.
And based on how it went with him, even at the end, with the Steelers and then the Raiders and Patriots for small stints, there's nothing showing me that's gonna change.
But clearly he was signed for his on the field talent and Tom Brady's uh, Tom Brady's want for Antonio Brown because clearly he wanted to reunite with a B.
But just overall, from a strictly a football perspective, I I just don't understand how he fits in this team.
Yes, they do have so much talent, but when you have, it gets to a point where you have too much talent on offense, that not everybody is going to get the ball.
I mean, that's the problem.
I mean, Brady will probably throw to Brown a lot because he's obsessed with Brown, and that's why he wanted to get him.
But then that will make other receivers unhappy.
And that could lead to a possible divide in the locker room and so on.
So I don't know.
It's that it's definitely risky.
Tampa Bay definitely didn't need Antonio Brown because they still have enough talent on the offense without him.
But ultimately, it came down to what Tom Brady wanted.
He wanted Brown.
They got him and let's see how the circus ends are.
And by the way, before Grant Co.
Speaking of you know, you know, fighting for receptions and Sam said that could lead into fighting the locker room.
Well, it's very likely with a guy like Antonio Brown well, Don Antonio Brown, I agree with Sam on.
There could be a fight right, because people want receptions.
But with Antonio Brown, that chance goes way up, you know, I mean, way up and look even had grown to the mix.
But one thing and one advantage of having, you know, so many Probo receivers, even though the competition you know, you don't really wanna have that much competition.
The cornerbacks on the opposing team when you play the Patriots who have Gilmore.
C. Jackson is amazing.
But, you know, Devin record is not a cornerback, but still, you know, you're right receivers.
At that point, you're really putting the pressure on the defense toe.
You know, God, all of these good players Grant, what is your opinion on this? I mean, like you said Bruce Arians, I don't know what he's doing, letting Brady just control, But overall, it really is a well, I am not happy about this, to say the least.
I'm cool with Antonio Brown coming back.
My problem is, and I said this right When the game Antonio Brown the eight game suspension, I'm cooler.
Brown comes back, but you have to give him a year suspension from the drama cause in the last year in Pittsburgh and with the Raiders.
And not to mention the whole punching the, uh, you know, punching the truck driver.
You know, all that incident? Um, just other stuff he's dealing with the law about the rumors.
It's just this guy needs a year off from football.
I'm not saying don't come back, but he needs a year off from football.
Hands down and you know, it's just interesting.
And the other thing is, you guys, we have a great point.
Someone's gonna be a ball hog on this team.
Without a question, Chris Godwin is way too good to be the third string receiver.
So is Antonio Brown.
I think Mike Evans is still going to stay the number one receiver, no matter what.
But between going and Brown, one of those guys give me a third string receiver, which they are so not used to that role, they're just not going to adjust.
Well, I know the trade deadline's in a couple weeks, so we see a potential crazy trade.
I doubt it, but you never know.
Maybe if the locker room divides way quicker than we're expecting them.
Perhaps you might even see a train a few weeks at the deadline.
Overall, you know it does come down to Tom Brady wanting the guy who he wanted, and it just doesn't make sense why Antonio Brown's not still serving a suspension after Week nine.
Like I said, bring him back.
But I would have game a year because again, just so much ridiculous stuff he was doing on the field.
He just doesn't deserve a roster spot.
And especially in Tampa Bay.
And, you know, this is where I can, you know, give Bruce Arians a little.
You know, like what you're doing because you clearly announced that you weren't gonna sign.
And pretty much, no matter what.
And now all of a sudden, Tom Brady's winning you a couple of games and maybe sweet talking.
You just like saying, Come on, do it.
I'm gonna bring you a ring.
I'm gonna get you Your first Super Bowl ring is a head coach.
Bring Antonio Brown and we can do this.
Yeah, well, I'm up.
Antonio Brown gets suspended a month.
Was it worth it? Wasn't it? It's just it's a decent signing, but it's just it's going to cause a lot of controversy, whether it's Brown Gang in trouble, off the field or just, you know, players trying to, you know, fight over targets in the locker room.
This is gonna be a whole mess in about a month.
That's my prediction.
Yeah, if I could just say something quickly.
I mean, obviously, Bruce Arians look silly now for for what he said in March.
But he has no control.
He had no control over this decision.
I mean, it's the ownership that listen to Tom Brady because he should.
Well, yeah, of course he should.
I mean, he's the team, but that's not that's not how it works.
You know, the the ownership of Tampa with Tom Brady because yeah, yeah, listen, I mean, you know, we could go to so many different decisions in the NFL.
I mean, Jimmy Garoppolo would still be on the Patriots if Tom Brady has hadn't told Robert Kraft Toe Thio trade him because Bill Belichick loved Jimmy G and so on.
Even the Antonio Brown coming to New England.
That was because Tom Brady wanted to happen.
And the ownership is gonna make Tom Brady happy whenever they want.
So So there's nothing really Bruce Arians can can do in this situation.
Although he is looking silly, Tom Brady definitely backfired that statement onto him and, uh, just touching on the suspension point.
He he what? He is suspended, actually, for games, but Week eight is next weekend, so he'll he'll be reinstated, most likely and in return for Week nine.
But still, I agree with Grant like, How are you suspended for eight games? For all the bad things he did and then Tom Brady was suspended four games for deflating footballs.
Bring up the flake because that was another total focus thing.
Grady was suspended on half 50% of what Brown was for deflating footballs.
When this guy is like domestically assaulting people in doing I mean, I don't understand how how he only was suspended for eight games and he wasn't even on the team the whole time.
So it's it's not really like he.
I guess he served a suspension, but it's not really like he did, because now that he's back his suspensions over next week, So, yeah, that's a That's a whole another story.
I'm just really interested to see how this all goes.
And, uh, yeah, I mean, kind of a wild night with the signing.
I mean, it isn't out of nowhere, of course, but there were, you know, up until this evening, talks about Seattle being the team that are interested in him.
And then suddenly Tampa Bay gains momentum.
And, like an hour later, Antonio Brown was signed by them.
So yeah, this this could This could go potentially disastrous.
There's I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't Antonio Brown's gone in a few weeks or it could work out.
Maybe I see that less likely happen, the less likely of the two of happening.
But I don't know, man.
I've really quit guessing on Antonio Brown because every time he gets another chance, I just don't know what to expect and don't know how long he's gonna be with whatever team he's on.
So I don't know how it's all going to go, to be honest with you.
Well, let's take a look at Seattle again.
What are they gonna get Josh Gordon reinstated? Now you're telling me Brown's comeback now, Josh Gordon can't Come on.
Now you open the door for one.
Got opened the door for all.
Oh, boy, I'm in.
Look, these 21 receivers look way hate to say it.
There's probably gonna be a wide receiver, you know, that's gonna look, I hate to say maybe not the level of Antonio Brown.
But there's always gonna be a receiver who gets suspended constantly.
And I'm going to say this, you know when Josh Gordon retires.
One. Antonio Brown retires.
But look, the Seahawks were about to get Antonio Obama and Russell Wilson had workouts with him this offseason, and we know the Buccaneers are definitely more crowded.
Gronk right? Godwin, Godwin and then Evans and then also Miller's.
How could they do Scotty Miller like that? He was such a good wide receiver. Three.
Yeah, what they're doing with them.
Miller is so underrated, too.
But again, he's now that wide receiver before that's likely to move up the wide receiver.
31 Antonio Brown Get suspended. Samantha.
Yeah, but again, the CEO could have been dangerous as well.
Chris Carlson has been a terrific running back, and then d K. Metcalf.
We don't even need to talk about him. Teeth.
Molina, Given his respect, he is a future top 10 wide receiver.
This guy's amazing Tiger lockets above average.
David Moore is average.
And then, of course, Antonio Brown added to that is truly amazing.
But anyway, before you get towards the end of the street.
Let's start with the hypotheticals now.
And we're doing things in a different order on that show, we'll see how it works out and let's share my screen.
Grant and Sam don't really know how to do this.
They will figure it out very quick.
Now, we do want to do each one quick because there are so many of them.
But you do need a few seconds.
So, like, examine and really think about it, because it's not that easy.
If it was easy, it wouldn't be that fun.
So, uh, let's start.
So again, this is at picking them on instagram.
Go follow them. They make great graphics.
Uh, here, it s So you're gonna choose a team you actually have to dive in.
It's not that easy.
I promise you, if this one is easy well, you're lying to me.
Yeah, but the other ones are hard.
So take about 30 seconds to examine.
You could hollow my name when you're ready.
Um, I need to take a look at this myself.
There's so many of them, so I can't remember.
Um, let's just all get 30 seconds before I speak.
All right? And by the way.
This is the old line, not the defensive line.
Just wanted to make that clear.
Uh, I have mine.
I got mine, too.
Yeah, all right.
This actually, what might have been one of the easier ones, but there's still a slight chance you could have chose something else.
And there's one reason for that, but we'll start with Grant.
What team? And then, of course, give your reasoning, but make it not that long because we have a lot of these.
Alright for Coach Gopi.
Carol. Quarterback Tom Brady.
I didn't tell you I didn't tell you to do that way like that, Sam.
Was that the way you were doing it? Yeah.
My bad. My better.
That's my apology.
Um, the we're going to do it is you picked, like a team.
Team two, team three.
I know what you were gonna pick anyway.
I don't have to grant it would be the Browns.
I think this is one of the more obvious ones, but there is a reason the Cowboys offensive line is pretty good.
And then Matthew Stafford's one of the more underrated Wide Receivers League.
Derrick Henry best Definitely way better than Lindsay.
Obviously, Slaten is not as good as Davante Adams, but I feel like, UH, Derrick Henry and Matthew Stafford was a little puff that people and you could even looked at the comments.
Did say, did say, uh, I can't pronounce this guy's name the Titans head coach.
Okay, I was much able anyway.
So you see, people, bottom life.
I mean, really, people have different opinions and I do agree with you Grant on the Browns. But the Cowboys.
The offensive line is good.
And then Derrick, Henry and Stafford give that push.
So much to any of the two teams not named the Panthers.
I mean, Julio Jones good.
And Pete Carroll is good as well, but just Ryan Daniel and David Johnson.
Yeah, Teneo decent, but he's good, but I have read your staff looked at and you, By the way, when people you know you could say the Panthers, you could say the head coach named whatever.
Anyway, Sam, do you agree with Grant, or are you gonna go with some people in the comments who say the Cowboys? Yeah, I'm gonna agree with Grant here.
I understand why people would would choose the Cowboys.
I just feel like the middle team the Browns are are a tad bit better, but it's It's definitely close.
It's definitely close, but I'd still go with the Browns.
I mean, Tom Brady Miles better than than Stafford.
I do think Grable's a slightly better coach than than Nagy, but I don't think the coaching really matters in in this, uh, in this particular situation.
Phillip Lindsay is still a very good running back, obviously not not close to.
No one's really near the level of Derrick Henry, to be honest with you.
But then I I really like Adams as a wide receiver.
Miles he's miles better than Slaten, and then the Brands O Line is probably the best, though, line out of the three, so that that's why I would agree with Grant on this one.
Now I have a problem.
Stafford is not close toe way better than Tom Brady next year.
Even praise better, but they're still pretty even.
Yeah, no, they're even Sam.
Um, Miles, no miles your that.
Sam doesn't need to point that out.
He knows, but I mean, that's your opinion.
But I think they're even, and I will give the edge to Brady.
But next year there's no way Brady is better than Stafford.
But Stafford's one of the more underrated wide receivers you be.
But Miles Myers better is, Ah, lot, I think maybe not Miles.
I just I don't know.
I don't really know why people like Stafford, to be honest with you.
I think he's overrated.
I think he's a mediocre quarterback.
I mean, you could say if Safford was on like a team like New England, for example, he probably lead them to the playoffs, which is probably true.
But like, Is it gonna win you that Super Bowl, though you might need you to the playoffs, even brought the lines to playoffs a couple times.
But he's not gonna lead you to that Super Bowl that Z.
But again, you're still You could still be a top 10-Q B in the NFL.
He's not there. He's top 15.
But he's close to that anyway.
We'll get to the next one, let me find and what mostly gonna be these do these chooser team ones.
But there are a few other ones you could dio.
All right, here we go.
This is this is a good 10 this is a great one.
You guys are gonna like this.
You ready? This? This is a good one.
This is a much ah, much better one.
I mean, you have Adam gaze up there.
Why? Look, you take away the coaches on the left, and this is gonna be my answer.
You take away this coaches column on the left.
You have an easy answer.
Metcalf is right now the best white, the best out of all, three of them.
Let's be honest.
Playing like the best, but in terms of skill level mixing one Jones is close with on anyway.
But Josh Allen is the best cube.
So I would go with this group.
But then you have one of the world's coaches of all time, and you say No way.
I'm gonna go with Bill Belichick.
You I'm I'm an Ryan Fitzpatrick who I think is element worse than Bridgewater.
But he's still can win your games.
Nixon, I like Cooper Cup is I'm gonna go better than really in the tight ends.
Offensive lines better than Jaguars offensive line.
We know that, Grant.
I know what we'll go to.
Sam, Who do you pick? Yeah, I'd take the middle, The middle team as well, honestly.
And Belichick is a big deciding factor because Belichick is.
He's the best coach in the league and it's not even close, like he's at the top.
And then it goes a steep level down after that and and and so and I think Belichick could, could could do well with this team.
I mean, you know, Fitzpatrick's a pretty, a pretty likable guy and a decent quarterback.
Well, I think Belichick could definitely work with him.
Mixing It is a good running back in my opinion, and Cooper Cup is a solid wide receiver.
It could be better and you have the Titans as euro line, which which isn't the worst.
I just I just think overall when you include Belichick because you have to eliminate the first one because Adam Gates would not know what to Dio with, no matter how how good, how good the players. He had work.
And then I still think that the middle team is slightly better than the bottom team to.
So So, yeah, I'd go with the second on with Belichick being the coach, a deciding a deciding factor, to be honest with you, why I went with it.
Adam Gaze is not good with young players.
Sam Gagner, for example.
Josh Allen Young Ronald Jones is super young in D.
K. Metcalf is super young.
Yeah, definitely not.
Look, you could put Teddy Bridgewater we know is a veteran Calvin Ridley has been in league for a long time cream hunt? I have no idea, but obviously we can't pick the Jaguars either way, and we'll listen to grants opinion.
But anyway, I'm saying Adam Gates would be more suitable with the Jaguars on the bottom.
But still, obviously, you're not gonna pick a team with Adam gays now, Grant, do you agree with me and sand picking the tight ends where you go with your Jaguars? You know, it's very interesting of the Jaguars, and here's why.
Because that was our all young minds.
Kareem on Calvin Ridley, Anti Bridgewater.
They are all still pretty young amount the floor while the youngest head coaches in the league.
He's a pretty good coach.
Ultimately, yes, I would go with Tennessee.
And honestly, I think player wise, I go in Jacksonville.
It's just Belichick is simply better than Matt LaFleur and the Titans offensive line just 20 times better than the Jaguars offensive line, you eliminate.
If you just focus on the players, I think we can all agree with picking Jacksonville.
But of course, when you put the offensive line coach in it, you gotta pick Tennessee next one.
This is a good one.
We got a rookie, one only rookies.
I have mine and I got mine to think.
You may know where I'm going with this, but oh, I definitely know who you're picking.
I guess Ron Rivera is a top 10 coach in the NFL, easily one of era, and it's not just because he's dealing with a tough situation and cancer, but part of that makes me like him even more.
But seriously, he's a good coach.
I mean, look, I understand the Washington football team or bad, and we thought there would be good after not good.
But we thought Ron Rivera was good to give them a week.
But again, we saw That's the Eagles, who have been terrible this season.
But anyway, wanna Vera is a good coach to, uh, Look, we haven't seen him.
We've seen him play 100 fell game.
But you know what I mean.
We really haven't seen him play an NFL game, so it is hard to pick him, but I do expect him to be.
My prediction is he will turn out better than Borough Herbert.
That may be too much, but based on the draft will say he will be the second best to be.
So let's just say that Clyde Edwards Hola.
I mean, Robinson from grants.
Jaguars has been amazing, but Clyde and brutal there.
I think it's such a weapon leaving and bells now on the Chief. So that's gonna change.
He has been the best white rookie wide receiver, and he will be in the future.
And then the Bills online is pretty good.
So I'm gonna go with the Bills, you and I'm gonna say this pretty easily.
You know, I looked at Justin Herbert.
He's been impressive.
You got Jonathan Taylor. Okay.
My bad CD lambs on that list.
And let's see those offense lines good.
And then he got Mike McCarthy Used not that good of a coach, which lowers that down bow.
Probably the best Cube, I expect to What would be better than Borough, but not this season.
Definitely not this season.
Maybe not even next season.
Robinson has been very impressive.
I don't think he's been as good as quite Edward.
Still there? It's been close, and Jerry Judy is okay.
So I'm gonna go with the Bills here.
Clyde Edwards will Layer Justin Jefferson.
I think are gonna be their best.
Yeah, I I will say that Clyde Edwards will There should finish the season as the best rookie at his position.
And so well, Justin Jefferson two are probably not run of error.
Uh, Stefanski? No.
I'm gonna go through on a Vera as the best coach on this list.
We'll go to Sam.
How about you? Yeah, yeah, I agree.
I'd go with the with the bottom team as well.
Although I don't I don't feel like It's as obvious as as maybe you said it.
Waas I I still think I had to think about the middle team, but the bottom still the better choice? Honestly, I think the middle one is a pretty solid team, but the reason the bottom team edges them out is because because of, uh, the lair and Jefferson.
In my opinion, I've really been impressed by Clyde Edwards.
The Layer, the only running back taken in the first round.
He's been He's been spectacular for Kansas City.
And, uh, and Jefferson has has been really, really impressive as as, well, so far as he said, Probably the best rookie wide receiver s so far in this season.
You know, I still need to Seymour from from from to a tongue of my low up, but obviously, yeah, but obviously he has great potential.
I mean, we still need to see way more from all of the rookie quarterbacks, but at least you know we've seen a few games from from Herbert and Burrow where you know to.
It just came into the last game and that's it.
But now that now that he's the starter, you know we'll have a better idea for for you know what? We'll have a better idea for for what he is going to do for that Miami team and perhaps what his future has in store.
And I can make a stronger opinion on him once I see him on the field.
Mawr and then, yeah, I mean, I honestly don't think the coaches, uh, made a big impact on any on any of the three when I was looking through for which decision I wanted to make their all.
You know, Stefanski with Cleveland.
I mean, hey, hasn't proven anything.
I thought Mike McCarthy was was a decent coach, but I don't know what's going on in Dallas and then, Yeah, Ron Rivera.
I mean, he's a tough situation with Washington, but he really he really hasn't won anything as a coach.
So the coaching didn't really play a factor into my decision, but yeah, I'd take the bottom team.
Uh, and I agree with you on that.
I think they just have more talent overall and Grant.
So here's what I go with the top team.
Alright? Kevin said, e.
I mean, he has been great, but he's been doing a pretty decent job, Brown said.
Coach, So far, Justin Herbert hands has been the best.
Rookie quarterback Jonathan Taylor was projected to be the best running back out of this draft.
I think client ever tell there definitely will be this year.
But honestly, I think Jonathan Taylor in the year two could really, you know, decide, you know, a pretty hefty decision If the culture should move on from Marlon Mack.
And I think John tells, given the key role in that city land.
I do think once the Cowboys you know involving more than the game plan, I do think he will be, Ah, very good receiver and the Steelers offense.
Offensive line is very good, but the Steelers is just simply the best out of three year.
I would have to go with the Steelers if I want to go for a perfect team.
I go with Rivera, Herbert, Robinson and Jefferson with the Steelers off point, but I'm comfortable taking a break here.
All right, good.
Me and Sam, we're focusing really closely in the middle and bottom.
This is what I said.
These were good because we're gonna have different opinions and Even if we all say the same, we're gonna have a little different reasoning.
I think, um, on these.
So let me go to the next one, and we'll wrap this up soon and just talk about the MLB word Siris for a few minutes.
Um uh, this is a veteran one.
Uh, look, we have Steve Caroline here again.
About How about that? Um, how what we got here? This is a good one.
And, uh whoa, Sam, You think it's tough? Yeah, I dio.
But I I know it's when I'm picking, though.
This is very close, but I know which one I'm picking.
Take it away, Rams, Uh, simply put the Rams, I think just have the most talent here.
I mean, with Florence being such a, you know, very good Coach, of course, have Rodgers being a top three quarterback and Terry McLaren even being great.
Jerick McKinnon in the Texans offensive line immediately immediately stairs me away from picking Houston.
Same kind of deal.
Emmanuel Sanders in Nick Chubb.
They're pretty good stomach.
They won the Bryce minds in the game, but Philip Rivers and the Chargers offensive lines also kind.
Uh, do I want to go down that route? I don't think I dio.
I think the raves is actually a pretty clear decision here.
Pete Carroll simply the best coach at the three Reds offensive line.
Clinton the best coach at three.
I think Robby Anderson might be the worst receiver, but he's really not that much of, you know, a downgrade from McClaren or Sanders.
And same thing, I think Trump's best running back here.
But then again, while Sanders, in my opinion, is way better than Jerick McKinnon, Matt Ryan is not good. That Rogers.
But my opinion is better than Philip Rivers at the moment.
E he can't get the job done.
I really do feel like you can so more, you said.
It's obvious it was probably more obvious to me because I think Robby Anderson is the best writers, the route of all of them.
Here's the thing.
He was stuck in the Adam Gays Dumpster and it was great with the Jets.
Know exactly he's leading the league in receiving yards right now, and he was stuck.
He's been better than last year.
He was doing good, and that's with Adam Gates.
I promise you, he I think he's a manual.
Sanders has just shown to me that he had that one good game, I think, against the Chargers, and that's without Michael Tom's and Emmanuel Sanders is a veteran now telling the Claw, and I think it's really close.
I, in my opinion, think Robby Anderson is the best out of the three wide receivers here, so I would be more higher on you and picking the Rams.
So Grant, you pick the Rams like me.
But I think Robby Anderson is the best writer.
Steve out of the streets again.
E think Robby Anderson is probably probably better than Emmanuel Sanders.
Karen McClaren? I don't know.
I do think Tara McLaurin is extremely good, I think.
E yeah, I definitely know.
I'm thinking about it.
I definitely think Anderson is a little bit Sanders.
Yeah, and I do think it's really close between the clone and Anderson.
I just like to give it to Anderson again.
He was in New York E.
It was good last year, but when you say he was good in New York, you met just last year.
I mean, he broke out last year again.
That's he's been good since one was 2017 was his rookie year like he's been playing good ever since he stepped on the league.
It's just sounds like Sam Donald or Josh McCowen. Her price.
Petty as this quarterbacks right now, that.
But that type of good wouldn't beat out Sanders and McLaren.
This year's and last year's skill level would, but not his rookie and so on.
But anyway, I agree.
If you put let's not even use Sanders and shove, let's put, uh, the Austin echoes.
Give me it around.
Who's around the 15th? Best running back in NFL.
Who's a discourse? Um, Green moster.
Okay, Yeah, yeah, he's around 15.
Look, I'm really, really like Brian floors.
I do think he's the third best coach on here because you have good coaching options, right? MK vein.
And look, you know, I'm lying on floors.
I've talked about it, but it is not Caroline based.
Yeah, very good.
But Brian Floors is very underrated.
You got Roger is easily the best to be on here.
I say the second best riders here and I'd still get on the edge if you have something like the most.
So that's me and Grant.
Now, Sam, I know you had a little bit of a mortar for time.
Did you go with? Yeah, I'm going.
I'm going with what both of you guys want.
I'm going with the Rams just because I mean, I think the top one is is solid, but I much rather have Sanders and Anderson over McKinnon and McLaurin.
When I saw Rivers, I cross that one off because Philip River I mean, right now he's so bad.
I don't know a fence, but I don't know why.
Why the Colts? Why the Colts got him, to be honest with you, But if you have Philip Rivers is way past his prime, and he's been really bad, to be quite honest with you.
So I'm definitely not taking Rivers.
That's Rivers Team, that's for sure.
Andi Pete Carroll is by wow, make.
They did bring the ramps Super Bowl.
But Carol's the best coach out of all of them.
There's no debating that and and indeed, yeah, I think overall, that's the most talented team, that bottom team.
So I I would have to agree with you with you two on this one? Um, yeah.
We know what Matt Ryan could do with the decent offensive lined to.
Yeah, that's how I was gonna say as well.
Yeah, Matt Ryan.
I mean, it's been up and down for him with the Falcons, but hey, is he is a good quarterback.
I mean, you know, sometimes he commits to many turnovers, but it's not always has fallen either, with that horrible Falcons team that underwhelmed year after year.
So, Yeah, Matt Ryan is a solid quarterback.
I think he went to B.
Yep. Definitely got represent.
So I do wanna be Oh, heavens way.
Wanna throw one of these in here? Now? This is a builder squad.
This is what Grant.
And you, Sam at the beginning thought you were picking the player.
Yeah, send it. Bothers to spend.
And again, you have to use one Q B one running back, one wide receiver, one fine.
And it's gonna take a little longer.
So you mean I have to do math? Uh, let's see what we got here.
So and I have a I have a good strategy for this, and I'm gonna go right away.
Uh, I am not using any $3 picks.
This is my strategy again.
I try to be that smart one.
I'm not just trying to do that to be different than what Grant and Sam, I expect I'm not Thio.
Yeah, I expect them to use it. $3.1.
But anyway, I think for the value I know my homes is much better.
I'm gonna take Newton, eh? Queler Metcalf.
I'm leaving out my buddy Kosecki.
I just I am being smart here.
Newton secular MedCath and John You, Smith, who's been amazing.
That's $7 right there.
I love and I was trying to add him in here.
So what I could have done Newton, Heckler, Kosecki and Brandon are you? But I don't think he's going to turn out that good.
So I do want to go with someone Who Oh, my God.
He will turn out good. D.
So I got Austin actor who's a great running back Cam Newton.
We know how good he is.
And then look, you see, uh, now you guys know I have no bias here.
And you probably thought, Oh, yeah, he's picking a seki, but I'm not gonna pick Newton Nikola, you can Kosecki are you is not going to turn out good.
And when you compare them to Metcalf, Matt Katz way better.
And when you compare consecutive Smith, Kosecki is not that much better.
So I'm gonna go without any $3 ones, and I think I'm gonna Yeah.
So, Newton Eckel, er, Medcalf and Smith.
Who's ready, sama? Grant e o.
You're okay? Well, I'm not gonna use your strategy.
I got to get the homes and I gotta get DK and then John who? Smith's a very underrated tight end.
So I go with those three and I think we're getting DeAngelo Henderson.
I feel like with those three main guys, I don't feel like you would have to run the ball a whole lot.
So that's why I be comfortable giving someone has underwhelming as henderson my starting running back role just simply put, you gonna have always have TK Graham John Smith You could only run the ball, you know, 10 15 times.
Not to mention my homes is a great scrambler as well.
So maybe that lied about four or five rushing attempts.
Simply put, I wouldn't put the ball much in Henderson's hand, so I would just heavily reliant passing game with that.
Yeah, actually, I also had to get Mahomes just because he's He's Patrick Mahomes, the face of the league.
And then I also went with Austin, eh? Klar at running back, I think.
Hecklers Still a pretty good running back.
Um, So So I went with Heckler, and then I also had to have d. K. Metcalf.
No, no tight ends on this team.
I feel like I feel like Mahomes and Metcalf that that connection would be fun.
And then you also have a good running game with ECHL er there as well.
So that that that's my team right there.
Okay, no tight end.
Okay, that's interesting.
Very interesting, Sam.
But anyway, Mahomes is way better than union.
But the reason I picked Newton is because he is so diverse now.
I said I got Newton secular.
Met Kathryn Smith.
Really? This is amazing, because we know if there's no wide receivers open, which based on what? My Greece Not Sam Yuri's Mike Reiss, ESPN ****yst.
You saw that about NFL gen stats? No, I didn't see it.
The Patriots rank last in separation wide receivers.
So based on that, Cam Newton is gonna have to find something new.
He could scramble or he could hand it off to echo.
So that's why I picked Newton.
And again, if you pick my homes, you're gonna want to get a good receiver.
So you're gonna probably pick Metcalfe, which granted, but then you have to get go with Darryl Henderson.
Who? I don't think that good.
So I'm going to stick with my you know, Newton Explorer, Matt, Catholic e.
Meanwhile, with an offense with my Holmes Met Captain Smith.
Me? When are you going to run the bomb? Obviously, you're gonna have to, But again, you don't have to run it more than, like, 15 times a game if you got that team.
So But again, the Chiefs are stoppable.
The Chiefs all stop.
And that one game they still put up 32 in lost.
Yeah, that's rough.
The problem is, Darryl Henderson is not good enough to you know, when you're gonna have to run the ball.
I wish we could pick out our offensive lineman.
So you just say Just say everyone gets the Jets offensive line now.
Now what? Well, then we were only run the ball five times a game, If that's the case, Yeah.
Hey, no one wants to get Daniel Jones a shot.
He's right now the fastest cube, and then Oh, my G Yeah.
We gotta pull the clip from last night when I was commenting the game I was beside myself when he said, I'm like, he's gonna touch down only trip.
Yeah, I I said Daniel joining on all the way, and then I'm like, Oh, no, he tripped e No, I'm like Jesus Daniel Jones E.
Miller having to call of my life.
And then Daniel Jones just had a for the 10 of like you had.
I'm gonna find it now, and I'll put while I look for it.
I'm gonna put up another, uh, another one for you. This is a good one.
It's certainly end of the broadcast, by the way.
It's probably like an hour, like 18 minutes in or something.
I'm gonna remove myself.
So you guys just talk cause I'm gonna go find it.
Ah, there's a good one up before I leave.
I mean, you got the top three.
Best TVs in NFL.
Um, I don't know people.
Look, he's still top three Q b.
Alan's been better this year, but anyway, you got great running backs, wide receivers.
Anyway, go ahead, talk when you decide, I'm gonna remove myself cause I put the volume on and try to find grand school, the Clippers Wild.
I think I know what team. I'm going with you.
Yeah, I know which one I'm going with.
All right, you go first.
I'm gonna go with the middle one.
I think that I think the top one is a very good team.
But, I mean, Mahomes and Wilson are both, like, you know, absolutely fantastic.
These are pretty much even themselves.
And these are all three really good quarterbacks here.
I'm going to ignore the Coach Matt Rule because I all the coaches on here, our our young head coaches that have have improved anything yet, but then you got you got Todd Gurley a Z at the running back.
And I really like rugs.
I mean, I've liked what I've seen from CD lamb so far, but I I still need to Seymour.
I know what I can expect from from rugs.
I mean, obviously, Lamb is on Ah, Cowboys team.
That is out of all sorts right now.
I mean, they've got to get their act together, quite frankly.
And now and now, of course, Andy Dalton is their quarterback.
I think it's really close between the first team and the and the second team.
This was definitely a tough choice, but I do ultimately go with the second team, although I think it's very even honestly when it comes to talent.
Yeah, the camera is the best running back here, But overall, I'm going to go with the Patriots, though, because I think the Patriots have the best offensive line here when healthy.
When, uh, no tune.
He's not playing center.
That was on Sunday, a couple of botched snaps there and then, But overall, you know, I feel like Patriots offensive, but I could hold Joe mix and see.
I'm like I said, I feel like once Dallas really gets them going, I feel like he could be a very good receiver.
Russell Wilson, in my opinion, front league MVP and again Joe Judge.
He's kind of, you know, it's not great again.
We don't really know what we're gonna get out.
Ruling Zach Taylor in the long run either.
I know what the Patriots and yeah, the Packers is very close, and the Colts is tempting because the camera, but simply put around at the rookie over Will Fuller the cough offensive lines outside Quinton Nelson is not really that great interest.
Simply put it rather have Wilson in the homes over the market yet.
Yeah, that's that's definitely a fair argument, for sure.
So Isaac is pulling up your call of that.
A legendary moment from Daniel Jones in Capital A.
I'm about to get it, but I just wanna because I know you guys are over.
I just want to quickly move in, and I'm just keep on.
I'm gonna find that I'm almost there, Grant, Um, it was passed 1 18.
I'm gonna go with Sam here, Packers.
I love Henry rugs, and I'm gonna break him down quickly.
This guy is amazing.
He is a Tyree kill because he's as fast as him.
But he's a big play guy.
He's not gonna get six or seven in the game.
He's gonna get two receptions, but they're gonna be, Ah, 110 yards, not each but 15 yards, you know, and then a 60 yard catch.
This guy is a big play guy.
I'm not just saying it always fast.
We have seen it through a few games he's played.
I know it's Week seven, but he was injured for a few weeks.
So in a small sample size, a tiny sample size, I already know this guy is gonna be an amazing receiver.
And Fuller is good, but I think drugs could be better than Fuller in the future.
And again, what makes me even more high on drugs? He was the first receiver drafted, which again? Maybe he won't.
But he should be the best wide receiver from this rookie class, even though Justin Jefferson is looking like he will.
But Henry Rugs is very close and Sam, I agree.
I mean, this guy is a big play guy, you know what I'm saying? I mean, he's gonna get two receptions, but it's not quantity.
It's quality, you know, what I'm saying? Yeah, I've definitely been impressed with drugs so far.
And don't get me wrong.
You know, Lamb is a very good rookie to.
And then, you know, we all know Fuller's, uh, capabilities, but yeah, I think I think rugs from what I've seen so far, he's the best.
Or he could be the best out of the three of them.
Obviously, it's still early on, but I've really liked what I've seen from from rug so far.
He's definitely impressed me.
So yeah, almost finding grand Stop.
Okay, what's up? I was just me doing that calm.
It was It was one I knew I had to re watch, like, the second I did it because I like some of those calls them, like, I gotta rewatch that later and just I just know I was just so disappointed.
That's that's all.
You know, I was at a loss for words.
I was like, Wait, What? Just like he has the ends right there.
Just keep just slightly jogging you would have made anyway.
Well, anyway, onto this team.
All right, let's see.
All right. I know which one.
Yeah, I know which one I want to.
I guess I'll start off this time.
I take the bottom team.
Um, because I think Harbaugh I mean, I'm not a big fan of him, but he is a good coach.
He is a good coach in Baltimore S o.
I think good coaching would definitely help this group of relatively young players.
Of course, I really like Kyler.
You know, I had him as a dark horse to potentially when m v p this season.
I mean, he hasn't been, you know, he hasn't been spectacular so far this season, but you still talk about 10. Exactly.
And so, you know, if the Cardinals air in the playoff race, which I think they will be, maybe you know Murray will pick up his game later in the season and perhaps, you know, carry them to a playoff run. That's always possible.
So I'm very high on Murray.
I think he's the best quarterback out of out of these three.
You know, Min, she is all right, man.
She's all right.
But he is the worst one here. Exactly.
And I honestly don't like Jared Goff that much.
Yes, he is better than Minshew.
But, God, I don't know, man. He has.
He has, like, good stats and stuff.
But when you watch him play, he just makes too many bad decisions in my opinion and horrible mistakes in big situations.
So I easily take Murray out of the three of them.
And then I already touched on Clyde Edwards the Layer earlier.
I really like him in the running game, so yeah, exactly.
And then I think I think Sanders is the best.
Uh, he might be the best wide receiver out of this group.
Robinson is definitely up there.
It's it's close, but you know that the wide receiver position was definitely close.
But the rest of you know between the coach Q B and running back was really the deciding factor for me.
And Sanders is a good wide receiver anyway, So that's why I would take the third team, and I'm gonna take the 13 as well.
I'll risk having Garrett balls and Elijah Wilkerson.
If that means Kyler.
Murray had the explosive speed he had Monday night, absolutely inclined.
Over till areas.
Well, if you could just keep up what he's doing.
You know, you should still be one of the better rookies of the classes.
Well, I know Emmanuel Sanders reuniting with the Broncos there, but he's overall still a very good receiver.
I do think Alan Robson is the best one, but I probably take Sanders over Juju and then John Harbaugh.
I mean, I think Champagne is the best.
John Harbaugh is not that much of a downgrade.
So can't complain with Denver and ST is also pretty good.
The 40 Niners outside Josh Jacobs side.
Now in the important offensive line streak juju is kinda overrated off extremely overrated.
And Doug Peterson, nothing says, hasn't done much since he won that Super Bowl.
I hate to say it, but he hasn't.
I think if the Eagles class this year, he might even get fired.
Who knows? So, e go with the Broncos here.
I mean, the Eagles is different story for a different day.
I know they're leading the division now, but Yeah, Doc.
Peter, Doug Peterson.
Excuse me? I almost said Doc Peterson because I had Doc Emmerich on the top of my mind. Sorry.
Uh, yeah, he is, um I mean, I'll give him credit like he out coached Belichick and made some very risky decisions in that Super Bowl that other coaches wouldn't make against, you know, a Bill Belichick led team.
But, yeah, you're right.
That was really his is only good year.
I mean, I give him credit for it.
There's no doubt about it.
I mean, he made some bold decisions that paid off, and and and that was big time for the Eagles team when they won the Super Bowl.
But yeah, since then I mean, when you made the playoffs both years, But yeah, what have you done? I mean, you lost in the wild card and then the divisional round? Yeah.
I mean, I don't see him getting fired anytime soon unless, like, the Eagle seeds and goes absolutely horrible.
But the reality is like I think the Eagles are going to be the ones who come out of the NFC East, and the winner of that division is going to be the four seed in the NFC and get to host a playoff game, which is absolutely stupid.
That's that's how the NFL playoffs are.
So I mean, so I think the Eagles still get a playoff spot.
And Doug Peterson He's done enough to stay to stay in Philly for, you know, at least a couple more years.
Maybe not this year, but maybe next year.
The Eagles don't make it as well, By the way, is that that's my five. Forgot.
I usually go up until you know, the first half of last night while until 10. 30.
So probably had around, like the two hours more. Sorry.
If you're still looking for that, it's around the two hours.
No, I'm about to find that I'm literally No.
I looked at the highlight of Daniel Jones run to see how much time was left.
It's at the end of your broadcast.
No, it's because because right after Wayne Gallman scored, I was like, All right, I got to go because I got school tomorrow, right? But yeah, I was like, I want the broadcast and write them like that.
That would have been a great way to end it.
Yeah, Yeah, I I did the first three quarters of that game and then had to go to bed.
Yeah, because luckily, when since I'm in on since my schools all remote right now.
I could stay up a little later.
Uh, e o I still gotta go in two days a week.
Yeah, I don't go in person until for three more weeks, So yeah, we We've been all online so far, which I'm getting really annoyed by.
I just wanted I just wanted me.
Oh, you found it.
All right, let's pull this stuff, shall we? You literally had two minutes left in your broadcast.
Yeah, I'm not saying like it literally happened right when I was about to head off.
Yeah, Let's share the screen here.
Oh, dear Thio, this is so funny.
Uh, way Jones is gonna run with Daniel Jones of the 40 50.
Are you kidding me? Way.
A 70 yard run, though.
That was epic, but would have been 80.
Oh, yeah, He had an 88 yard rushing touchdown.
Yeah, a stumbled.
Are you kidding me? Dude? Oh, my God.
Tripped over his feet.
What do you expect? E can't complain.
That was hands down.
I thought he was gonna score there.
Night to Russia's on the night for Jones and that we're gonna flip the Ingram on first and goal, and he has to step out of bounds.
Anyway, very nice. Very nice.
Anyway, we're gonna get you some tweets, so some crazy, that's and I want you guys to respond to them.
And these are all sports.
Just so you guys know, and then we'll wrap this up, so just ocean tweets me finds them.
Oh, um, there's the first thing I wanna show you.
And this is from Ah, sure screen.
This is a funny tweet.
Yeah, Yeah, That was earlier tonight, right? Yeah.
That's the night.
Yeah, I remember.
Like that was like, the first ending.
Yeah. And looking Mookie Betts, right.
That's Mookie. Bet yeah.
Yeah, that's driving in Troy.
Whatever, G man.
Somehow Fox has a love for him.
I always show him on TV.
Hey, he's a likable player.
Yeah, he's very like a player.
Yeah, but it's funny how they always show him.
Anyway, so there is a funny tweet.
I mean, like, he doesn't even look that athletic, and then he could do full on splits.
That's incredible, and that's not the first play like that.
He's made these playoff.
That's that's like That's why he's the starting first baseman.
He's unbelievably flexible and make some unbelievable plays.
Yeah, just insane.
No, I do want to share my screen and show up catching the homes.
Tweet regarding Daniel Jones.
And it was very funny.
I think I saw it earlier.
Yeah, I'm pretty God saw it, but I mean I mean, I can't even say anything because I would never be able to run that for either.
Let's be honest.
I mean, Daniel Jones.
That was the best thing ever.
Man, He's gonna go.
When he stopped, he doesn't look, obtained the movie in slow motion.
He didn't look that fast.
But when I saw the amount of miles he ran, what was it? 21 anyway? It was the fact that bounced in the Tyree kill.
I mean Madden first or grand, I need a mad a guy called the Madden Ratings guy up.
He's Jackson 90 QB sneak.
Well, you sneak 100.
Listen, but you do not that a stumbling.
A stumbling rating.
Let's hear it is right.
ESPN stats and info.
We always find some fun things here.
Uh, let's get a tweet here.
Uh, Antonio Brown has had six consecutive 100 catch seasons from 2013 to 18 which was the longest streak in NFL history.
The Bucks have had one such season in franchise history.
The Bucks now have 30 of the top eight players in receiving touchdown since 2014.
Can you believe that out of the top eight players were touchdown since 2014? They have three of them.
How is Chris? God went on that.
Like I get Evans.
I definitely get Brown.
But how is Chris? God went already on there as wild shows.
How much Winston, through e mean pastors went to the corners.
I know we've been talking about the NFL.
I want you guys to think Do you think this has an effect? TJ Watt, who he knows one of the best defense events lines up closer to the line of scrimmage than any other pass rusher, and it has a great jump.
We know what The result is, I mean, he gets tons of ***.
There's Donovan effect because, ah, lot of false starts and stuff, we'll start with Sam.
Does you know, again, he is the closest to the line of scrimmage.
And obviously the fact is, you know, maybe not. That's not the fact.
But he happens to be the best defensive end in the league.
So does that have a correlation? Yeah, I think I might.
I might Honestly, that's that's very interesting.
I was not aware of that, stat, but yeah.
I mean, you know, the NFL is a game, a game of inches, you know, a game of 0.
1 2nd difference.
You know, because the reality is, you know, if you're if you're that much closer to the line of scrimmage And if you're a very disciplined player like T.
Watt and, uh, trust yourself that you won't, you won't commit penalties and jump offsides.
Yeah, I mean and and right when? Right when the ball snapped, you take off and you're right there at the line of scrimmage.
If you get to the quarterback, you know, 1/10 of a second quicker that could that could turn out to be the difference of a sack or a deep throw that's, you know, caught for a first down at the other end of the field and s Oh, yeah, I think it.
I think it does have a little bit of a correlation, to be honest with you because, you know, every every little blade of grass matters.
And so, if you if you're a little bit closer to the line of scrimmage and, uh, in JJ Watts case, you know, if you if you do trust yourself and you are disciplined in and you do have beliefs that because I think that's why a lot of T.
Watt Sorry, not J J, but yeah, yeah, they're both.
They're both really good.
But yeah, I feel like, honestly, that's why other guys back off the line of scrimmage a little bit because they feel like they're they're, you know, they want to give themselves some room in case they do have a little hesitation for a sec thinking that the ball was snapped, But but clearly, TJ Watt uses that to his advantage, you know, lining up closest to the line of scrimmage.
And yeah, you know, even if it makes a split second difference.
Uh, you wouldn't think that that's that.
It's that big of a deal.
Excuse me, but it could turn out to be a pretty big deal.
Um, it's all it's all about.
Timing for the defense of players, you know, right When that ball is snapped, it's all about timing And how fast, you know, on the case of the defensive lineman, how fast they could get to the quarterback.
And, uh, yeah, I think it does have a correlation a little bit.
I dio now a grant.
I wanna ask you this Just what is your opinion? A lot of people like Daniel drones because he was a rookie lobster, Because he has such a good preseason like system that but he has in 20 career games.
Are you kidding me? Yeah.
I don't know what something, Jones, Because I like the guy.
E Hey, what was the ball? Way too much.
And and his reeds aren't perfect.
He does some of the ball a lot, though.
What is the giants dio I mean, they is he different guys, Give me What do you say? I think Daniel Jones could succeed.
Just not on the Giants.
Simply put, if you're in the top two or even, you know, you got pretty high pick.
I don't know if you're gonna be bad enough to get Fields or Lawrence, but what I do think you should draft Trey. Lance.
That's just my opinion if you're the Giants.
But at the same time, you don't want to ruin another guy's career.
All I know is that the Giants they are having some hard time drafting offensive lineman every other position. They're fine.
There's just the offensive linemen, and that's why I think Jones does follow them a lot because he hardly has more than three seconds to throw.
Like every single place.
You know, when your second year Q B.
It was, you know, drafted way, you know, way higher than you originally projected to be.
You're gonna be making those mistakes.
And you know, when you're such a young kid and you're just trying toe, you know, deal with a revolving door during, you know, with the offensive line, or just love and experienced offensive linemen, not to mention with the rookie coach.
I think that I think Jones could slow down the turnover bug.
But I at the same time, you're just gonna be serviceable.
I mean, even if he is going to turn into, like, a starting quarterback, like I see him turning into, like, Andy Dalton or something like he's not gonna be spectacular.
Even if he does clean up like his turnover, you know, mistakes and stuff.
So, overall, it's just don't you might be good, but I don't think so.
No, I wouldn't really.
I know each broadcast.
They still like the rankings.
They were a top 15 offensive line.
I couldn't believe it.
The Giants? Yes, how? No.
That had when in could have been 18.
I think it was 15.
It could have been 18 even then, their bottom five hands down bottom five.
I think they are.
But again, based on the stats, this is based on stats they're not.
And by the way, speaking of Daniel Jones, listen to this.
His 80 yard run is the longest by a quarterback without scoring on the on the play over the last 48 years, I don't shock me.
Yeah, I mean, he has no one else to trip themselves.
Yeah, I got rid of him.
And like Michael Vick And like Marcus Mariota doing that, the great scramblers already go.
Yes, but on college, what year do you think was the last time Clemson lost an A C C game? You want to take a guess? We'll start with Sam.
Yeah, It's been a long time since they've lost in a C C game.
I'm going to guess 2015.
I'm Grant, I guess. 2010.
It was 2017 October of 2017.
They were upset by which team you guys know.
We're never clue Syracuse.
Oh, you accuse this Saturday 2025 straight wins at home.
26 straight wins worth A C C teams in 37 straight regular season wins.
The last time they lost was against Syracuse.
Will they lose again? I doubt, but anyway Hey, they're based in Boston College.
Halloween night got represent PC, baby.
They got They're gonna get destroyed.
Build your Avik. Let's go.
Hey, Duncan for, like, four interceptions and I've counted as a wind.
Hey, but by the way, I mean, let's be honest.
That's a fun fact.
We know Clemson's gonna win, but, hey, that's a fun fact.
The last time Clemson loss was against Syracuse, and I play them.
Uh, let's see what we got.
Oh, but before we had this last thing, last thing before we had this, uh, before we end the string, it was a big trade.
So we should go over it yesterday.
The Vikings and the Ravens.
Yanni, The walkway, Mega Quay.
What do the Ravens in exchange for? 2021 3rd round pick in the 2022 conditional fifth round pick.
He is one of with five sacks and two forced fumbles this season in Baltimore already ranks tied for second.
And that was without Yannick.
Noah guac got away.
Don't worry, I could pronounce the name for you. You're good.
So that is tied for second without him.
Now, the Ravens already have one of the best offenses.
Now they do have to deal with the Steelers who, like I said they were my number one seed routine.
But anyway, we know this is gonna help them.
But how much Grant coming from your Jaguars taken away before we can just tell you one thing, boy.
The Jaguars one to trade.
I can't I don't remember the last time that happened with the Jaguars.
One to trade, then Goku way! You're getting a second round pick for a guy only played five games all day.
But anyway, think McGeoch Wait.
He's teaming up with Kallias Campbell now, and they have a jelled.
When they were both in Jacksonville course, those were mainly the the two main leaders.
When Jacksonville member with Saxon Bill for 2017.
Those two are pretty much in the way in sacks.
And you know what? The Ravens having guys like Patrick Queen also on the roster, it's gonna be looking pretty scary.
You know, you're gonna be looking at a, you know, very package defensive line.
And I would, in my opinion, out there many offensive line. They're gonna stop.
I think Goku Way is the type of guy who you need to, you know, get if you're gonna make a deep playoff runs like Baltimore is expected to do this year.
No complaints from me.
And, you know, even the draft picks, okay, If he continues to produce you know, multi.
You know, double digit sacks seasons.
You're not really gonna complain much about the draft picks.
Let me tell you one thing, though. Jaguars.
One of the trade, I'm sure, because again, second round pick for just five games.
I wonder what you guys think.
But overall, Very good move by the Ravens.
They had to make this move.
They're going to go deep in the playoffs and again him and claims Campbell of great chemistry with Jacksonville.
So I'm honestly not shocked.
Baltimore did this, and I I really do wish you on the best.
I still he was, of course, with but is a very underrated player again.
Like I didn't even know you had five sacks.
Like, want to train the way we already asked five ***.
But that's besides the point pushing best of luck.
And yeah, what do you guys think? I don't think it's that much of a win for the Jaguars.
Oh, I just like to celebrate small victories.
I I think, uh oh.
A third round pick in turn out to be better than this guy.
You're gonna take the risk.
Um, I don't know.
Um the Jaguars were young team, and I feel like they need draft picks.
So both sides win.
Yeah, yeah, I I agree with that.
It definitely makes sense for the Ravens.
There's no doubt about it.
As Grant said you have, you have Campbell on Goku reuniting those are.
Those are two big guys who are very good, by the way, on on defense.
Yeah, this Ravens defense is only getting stronger with the addition of Bangkok way, and I feel like for in GAC way, yeah, he's definitely underrated.
But now he can really prove, you know what, what he can, what he could do, because I feel like now that he's on a really good team in Baltimore in a contender for the Super Bowl, he'll really put his mind to the task.
You know, after all that drama trying to get out of Jacksonville and being on the Minnesota team for a little while, that was You know, the Vikings have struggled, obviously, but yeah, I didn't even realize he had five *** either.
But he's a good player and I feel like now he'll be really motivated and play his best football on a winning team, where he realizes he has a shot at winning a Super Bowl.
So definitely makes sense for Baltimore.
And I think in GAC way has his best football ahead of him for the rest of the season.
I really do think so.
It's just such a smart move.
Baltimore to pick him up? Yeah, absolutely.
Again, both sides win.
Uh, Jaguar celebrated a little accomplished by small victories.
What? One When teams gonna be happy about you get released three months.
James Robinson is gonna be an amazing future.
He was a late drop.
Yeah, but behind what offensive line? Outside of Brandon Lander.
They're horrible, but the stats he's putting up and that's behind the offensive line.
So no de Westbrook.
He's getting traded to Yeah, you got And she not people.
Let's go sign on D J Charter meal.
At least they're pretty good shootarounds consistent.
He doesn't break out, but he's consistent.
I mean, your best rookie receiver right now, he could be the best Patriots receiver.
My men feeling gentleman is not doing good.
And kill Harry can't run around either again.
That's a good stat.
The Patriots, The Last Men, FLN separation from receivers.
And that's surprising.
I understand they have a total receiving corps, but Edelman's one of the best around runner, so that what is good route running me separation? I started push for Blake.
And now I gotta start push for your Kobe because you're Kobe Myers is not being used, right? Yeah.
Where has he been? He's got, he's got they gotta use them or the Patriots.
He is so underrated.
When Yeah, now that Gunner old Levski's back.
He's higher on the depth chart so that when governor is good, too.
But my time So look you guys are using is on more than I thought you would be.
Yeah, it is a, uh, has been so bad, you know, like they were so bad against Denver and Cam Newton was off, but they got Francisco is just a really bad game all around, and it is a beautiful team, and their defense is not scary.
Could you think Garoppolo is not that amazing? He's you know, when your games, especially with George Kittle, Deebo, Samuel Raheem Mostert in the backfield speed look, they could beat the Patriots.
If they fall asleep like they did last game, I doubt it will happen.
We will see Jimmy got loose withdrawing from Gillette Stadium.
Sam can't go to any games.
The page is gonna have to look.
Fans come in at some point.
Oh, Massachusetts, Massachusetts are very strict.
There's there's going to the Kota.
They actually spiked over the past few weeks of Koven numbers.
Yeah, there's not gonna be you let Stadium feels different than the other stadiums, and it's probably because I'm usedto they're being fans there.
But the 40 Niners, when they had no fans, I got used to it.
More Gillette Stadium.
I'm not feeling it, and I don't know why.
Yeah, the Patriots.
You find something out? Look, the the easiest thing to fix is the wide receiver situation.
I mean, what else they're gonna fix? Their defense needs improvement their defensive line, but focus on the wide receiver situation before the defensive line.
That's what I agree.
You know, you gotta figure out the wide receiving the wide receiver situation Fund your more still is not not looking like he is a top 10 quarterback, but based on stats this year. Oh, he's small.
He's not top 20 even.
I mean, he needs to step up.
He's Yeah, he's got a but nothing close to what we've seen him be like, Yeah, J.
Jackson and Jonathan Jones have have been have been amazing.
And, like we've said, we've We've saw a lot out of him these last few seasons. He's young.
Yeah, but Gilmour need to step up. I'm sure you can agree.
There's actually been talks around here about Gilmore possibly being traded, which, like you could do that.
Yeah, I would not do that.
I mean, listen, it's too early toe to talk about trading Gilmore.
I mean, like, two weeks ago.
Well, three weeks ago, the Patriots were coming off of a win against Seattle or sorry, Ah, loss against Seattle, where they could have won and Julian Edelman had his best game.
You know, statistic wise, Cam Newton look great.
And now all of a sudden, Julian Edelman has gone dead.
Cam Newton has been struggling.
Harry had a good game against Seattle to now, Harry has been very disappointing.
It's just all gone downhill, You know, these last couple of games for the Patriots, and that's why it will be important for them to bounce back.
But my point is like you still listen.
Buffalo are overrated there.
They're not doing their they've not been doing well lately.
I think Buffalo are slipping up quite a bit there.
They're still to young of a team.
Thio be at the top of the league, and so I think the division will still be up for grabs.
You know, no matter.
No matter how much you know, the Patriots struggle.
Obviously, they struggle a lot.
They're gonna be in trouble.
And that's why I think this game is huge for them.
But they could easily still be competing for the division.
And that's why you have to keep Gilmore.
I mean, Belichick, still the coach you can't think of of, you know, going to a younger team and trading away a great defensive player in in Stefan Gilmore.
I mean, you still got a shot, the division and it's still way too early in the season to be talking about E Gilmore.
You gotta do it in the off season if you got exactly right you got away until the offseason for even bring up this name in the news.
I can tell the time of the power skate show.
There's some names you don't bring up in the news and step on.
Gilmore is one of them.
Shouldn't even be on the trading block.
Not at all Well, for a Fair Pictures Jaguars trade, I think.
Dede Westbrook for Jonathan Jones.
Very careful to get a wide receiver number one.
Or if there was, like a better defensive like if you're getting offered better value in terms of a defensive lineman, which the Patriots need, go get it now, look, they did have our bouts, but they still need like, let's be Dont'a.
Hightower was not a defense, and he's a linebacker.
But how old is he? I mean, how effective is he gonna be next to? You know what I'm saying? Like the Patriots defense is not young.
Besides, JC, Jack and Robert Dugger is gonna be very good, but in one of its one of it is gonna be amazing.
But those are a few people.
NFL defense is huge.
I mean, the patriots need to work on a lot of things At least they have a great Q B and they're running back corps.
I mean, Michelle book at White.
And Michelle's been out and he's gonna be, uh, James White was out a few weeks.
That's why you have a good running back corps.
And then we're forgetting about someone who's been used a lot.
And it's not just Damian Harris.
There's another one.
Yeah, they are you talking about J.
Taylor, isn't it? Yeah.
Judge Taylor. Yeah.
Isn't there someone named Damian Harris says? Well, yeah.
Second year out of Alabama.
So I mean, running backs.
Grant the reason I knew that was from Madame.
But that's five running backs, and I'm not saying Damian Harris is average is probably below it.
But anyway, you know what I'm saying.
I mean, you would like to have a word with you.
You know how Myles gaskin from my dolphins turned out to be.
What many people are saying is he's right now the best running back in the A F C East.
Right now he is right now.
I love Singletary from that You're white.
You're gonna tell me Gaskins been a single terrier white Right now I maybe Maybe.
I haven't I haven't really looked at the statue.
I know what's a few games, but Yeah.
See, you have to take a look more statistically and to believe in that.
But maybe Singletary's and there's a There's someone that has competition with Singletary now on the Bills.
Yeah, like molluscs.
Yeah, and that may be why Singletary hasn't looked that good, but he had a bad week last week.
But anyway, uh, you know how Gaskin broke out? I feel like that.
Someone like J. J. Taylor.
A similar type of guys right there, passing backs.
I feel like that's a high possibility.
