Obviously use our hashtag ask wttw, Michael.
So I didn't really give you a chance to answer.
But how was how was your week? How was your weekend? How did you do this week? Uh, it was mixed results.
Um, I got a really nice win when DeAndre Hopkins only went off for 9.6.
So that was that was a surprise when I thought that was over to actually, he saved me.
I won by Well, you said a stat correction last week.
I won by a stat correction amount of points because of the same reason. Nice.
So it was a good week.
Um, I stumbled in one league, but it was just nobody put up points.
It was just not a good week for me, eso Other than that, I was really happy.
I think I won in, like, four out of six or something.
So I was happy or out of six.
Did well did well like said one that lead that I was facing D hop, which was kind of ironic, because I was I was winning in that league and her.
I'm sorry I was losing in that league and had Ezekiel Elliott.
So I was really worried.
And then I also had the Cardinals defense, so it ended up working out.
But yeah, I think I went three or five or four or five this week.
So not too shabby, my friend.
But let's get started.
Let's jump into our three and out Mike.
Speaking of this week and speaking of starters, Mike gets to a time in Miami.
Buddy, what happened? I brought away.
He's a top seven quarterback, and now we're going throw to in there.
No, it's Hey, exciting, it z crazy.
But like I said, Mike, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported today that to, uh, check via low, we'll be starting for the dolphins moving forward.
They're entering their bye week So, to be fair, he is gonna have two weeks to prepare before they play at home against the Rams on November 1st, which is just like 351 days after he had that horrific injury where he dislocated that hip and then fractured that posterior wall.
I learned what a posterior wall is today, which ended his career at Alabama a little bit early.
But Mike, I think this, you know, everybody thinks of a rookie coming in.
Thio play quarterback.
Not much fantasy impact, right? Well, I think that's actually quite not the case here.
You know, I think there's actually two ways this effects fantasy football.
And I think the first one is, you know, Mike, if you're Ryan Fitzpatrick owner What? What are you thinking right now? The fits magic is gone, Mike.
You just alluded to it.
Brian Fitzpatrick and most standard formats ranks seventh among active cubes.
He would be eighth, but Dax still above him.
Eso seventh among active cubes over 1500 yards and 10 touchdowns.
You know, most would think that's certainly at a minimum, even in a 10 to 12 me and legal backup spot, right? So So you know, he's rostered on 73% of leagues on ESPN.
Can you imagine? And I know this happened to at least one person that I know of.
They had Dak Prescott last week.
There, like, you know, the injury to Dak happens, and then they pick up Brian Fitzpatrick.
How do you think that guy feels today? Well, I didn't have Dak, but I definitely had Fitzpatrick as my starting quarterback, and I am really freaked out because it was a two quarterback league.
Its's sucks like I'm freaking out right now and I got by weeks coming in.
It's it's This is tough right now.
This is where you're gonna make your money as a fantasy owner, right? And Mike, I think the next impact this would be to our playmakers that playing Dynasty leagues is now the You know, you gotta start considering to us now the time to pick him up in that sort of four matter.
Is there something you would wait to see Teoh convince you to pick him up in that former if he's already not picked up? Yeah, I think you have Thio.
I I believe in to, uh, injuries do scare me.
But if you think about it prior to his injury, wasn't he the number one? He was the lock, right? He was the job er of the class.
He was going to be the cream of that crop.
Um, he was supposed to.
I thought I think he was supposed to be up there.
I know. Mel Kiper. Adam.
Now, are we talking in terms of NFL value NFL value? Yeah.
Um, I would say Burger.
I would say Borough was going into a slightly better situation, but anyways, going Oh, no, I'm sorry.
Like coming out prior to burrow having the big senior season.
I think Tool was Yeah, s.
So that's where I think he was supposed to be the guy.
And then he gets injured and obviously drops off. It's not as good of a situation.
That's why I'm a little higher on him than maybe the average bear.
Um, so here's the thing.
I drafted him in my first round of my fantasy draft for rookies in my dynasty league.
So if I am a fantasy owner, I and I'm gonna dynasty league. Absolutely.
Uh, there's no reason to wait around.
Um, and the reason I say that is I really like what they're doing there.
Um, I'm taking a peek at I Look, this is what I looked into is what Flores is doing.
And I want to know, Is this situation going to be a healthy situation for two? Uh, sorry.
It's a very long winded answer.
But if you look in their six game so far this year, they had a very, very even run past, um, split.
And it ended up being about a 45% rush, 55% past and one of those games where they had to throw the ball, like, 47 times, 45 times against the Seahawks just to try to keep up.
So you take that out there Very 50 50 split.
So he is not floors is not gonna be asking to a to do too much.
This reminds me of back when Russell Wilson comes in.
Maybe not think it's good of a defense, but hey, let's ease them into it.
We waited eight games.
He's learning, so I'm I'm okay with it. And then I look at their schedule.
They have Rams, Cardinals, Chargers, Broncos, Jets, Bengals, Chiefs, Patriots, Raiders and Bills.
I don't love it.
I don't hate it, though, So Dynasty go get him this year.
He's probably a spot starter.
Or you gotta wait and say, though, right? And you drew a comparison there to one.
Russell Wilson took government Seattle, and obviously, I got the got the Seahawks on my chest right now, so I know about that, and you're right.
It does feel very similar to that Matt Flynn Russell Wilson dynamic where Matt Flynn was the starter.
He was the veteran.
He was the guy that came in from Green Bay and was expected to be the starter, and Russell Wilson kicked the door in.
So that was a little different.
That regard where Matt Flynn didn't didn't even end up starting a game for Seattle.
I don't think that you're maybe you started just the first game, but, uh, you know, it's it's very, very similar in that regard, so you are definitely right there.
My friend Mike, speaking of moves that just felt right thio side of the fence around it, got much to the chagrin of the rest of the National Football League.
Uh, in a genius move by Libyan Bell.
He's joining the Chiefs.
Mike, the embattled running back, joins Patrick Mahomes, Tyree kill Travis Kells and really just a huge surplus stockpile.
Whatever you wanna call it of weapons out there in Kansas City like I don't own Clyde Edwards l air in any of my leagues.
But if I did, I'd be paying very close attention to what happens for the next 2 to 3 weeks.
Um, you know, I wouldn't use the word worried, but what I would say is that there's a possibility of some cannibalism of his of his touches.
You know, if I had to guess Belle, he's gonna be used.
Maura's that third down option, spending some time in the slot like he did in his days in Pittsburgh, where, in my opinion, he was the best utilized, you know, during those you know, those prime days of his of his time with Steelers.
Now my question is, and I will answer this later, you know.
Does that make him a must start now? Sorry, we won't answer later. Answer it now.
You know, like does this make him a must start now, once he gets obviously up to speed, Obviously it's gonna be a 23 week growing period, right? You know where he learns the offense terminology, things like that.
But once that happens, like, does this make Levy on Bella must start in every fancy league.
I've got to imagine.
So, um, I am even mawr up on Libyan Bell than Clyde Edwards Layer in about 23 weeks.
Like you said, I I see Andy Reid in that genius offensive genius.
Mind where he's gonna God, he's gonna put three wide receivers, one tight end and that tight ends Travis Kelsey and he's going to see what? What? How does this defense line up? Are they gonna? Which personnel are they? And they, Nick, are they in dime? How are they gonna try to stop it? And then based on that, give Patrick Mahomes two plays and let them figure out the best option? And it won't matter which running backs on the field, but I do think the big plus side the bell is hiss size and a lair is actually struggled in the red zone.
He has struggled to put the ball in the end zone.
So I think Bell is not only so.
Even if he just takes third down.
Touches a lot where he just gets to be in that slot.
He's also going to steal goal line ones, which are just such valuable touches that I don't care if it's standard or if it's PPR.
I think Bell is just, I think is pride.
I mean, this is such a good fit.
Um, except if you're Clyde Edwards, a lair owner, Yeah, then it's because he's still in that thunder, but and I think it's a great also.
Rookies tend toe wear down as the season goes on.
You don't have to worry about that.
You have levy on Bell Well, and that's just it.
I think he brings, you know, uh, one of the running backs.
I can't remember if it was Daryl or whichever one of the Williams sat out for the year due to co vid.
Um, you know, it gives you that added horse in the stable, right? And I think Patrick Mahomes quote, and I don't remember it.
Word for word was the best way to explain it is now we have another guy that we can put in in our offense.
It's not like we put in a 2nd, 3rd string guy, and it's kind of okay, we taper off a little bit assed faras abilities concern because now you have a guy that I mean Mike, What was it? 3423 years ago? Was a top five fantasy football running back? Yeah. Yeah.
So So I mean, you had this guy to that to that offense, and it's it's gonna be impressive like it's gonna be really impressive.
And we've seen how bad the Jets are.
I don't we can't really blame Levian.
Belfer struggles in New York, right? No, Adam Gaze is probably, Let's face it, they're gonna They're probably gonna lose this week.
Um, and you know, Adam gays.
Now that Dan Quinn's out of a job Bill O'Brien, you know, there's a couple of their names you could throw in there that are on the hot seat.
I think Adam Gaze is next in line when it comes to losing their job.
And rightfully so, e.
I mean, you've had you've had a couple of years now to try to get this thing going, and really, it's you've done nothing to help your young quarterback at all this.
This is just another head scratching move by the Jets, so it doesn't make sense.
But, Mike, speaking of, uh, speaking of head scratching, I guess we'll get into our weekly cove in 19 update.
And it's a head scratcher, buddy.
I'm gonna give you a crazy stat here.
You ready for this? The league distributed 38,880 test from October 11th to the 17th.
So six days, they just they did 38.
Almost 39,000 cove in 19 tests.
That isn't bananas number. I'm sorry.
I gotta Are you gonna do the per day and literally divided by six here? 6480 tests per day.
My Friends League announced Tuesday that out of those tests, eight new players, 11 staff members of confirmed positive tests brings the grand total.
Mike, since August 1st, 2 47 players and 71 staff members.
Now the Falcons and the Panthers have both been implicated.
And what I think's been Anek spect ID number.
Not a crazy high number.
I'll get your take here.
Mike, are the results here so far? You know, we're going into week seven.
Here are the results.
Better, worse or write about what you thought, uh, right about where I thought I'm sorry, I don't have a hot take for you, but, um, the one thing I was trying to stay positive on it was like I kept referencing the major league baseball season where they had that initial burst with the Marlins and a few other teams.
And then people started to figure it out.
And what it happened to be, I think would really start to make things rials.
When people started wearing about Hey, we missed games, we might miss some game checks.
Honestly, people want to get paid and they wanna play.
So I think they're kind of starting to buckle down.
Really? Take it seriously and kind of button it up.
Uh, it's like anything new.
You're you're gonna have some lapses.
You're gonna have some misses in your process.
Um, so this is kind of what I expected.
I figured you'd have a little bit a couple issues early on, and you find out if they if they could control it and it appears that these they're adults and they're they wanna play football.
So I think they're taking care of business, I think Wanna keep having a couple tests here, and they're gonna keep having stuff.
You have too many people, but, um, I'm really happy where they've landed.
This is kind of what I expected.
Yeah, and I agree.
This is kind of where I where about I thought we'd be.
I think you'd have a couple dozen players, you know, staff members.
Staff members aren't, uh, during the season.
Staff members aren't quite as, uh, creatures of habit as players are.
So so I expected it to be less players and staff members.
That's one thing I Immediately when I saw this number, I thought, Okay, that's exactly how I thought it would go.
Um, and like I said, I expected a couple dozen players where we have 34 dozen now.
So, you know, it's it's not to be unexpected.
And the reason, like you said we or I say we keep covering this every week is obviously give the playmakers an idea of what to expect, you know, because this this whole let's Let's face it.
Since March, the world's been unexpected, right? So, um, so that's not gonna change just for fantasy football purposes.
But like I said, we'll keep letting you guys know every week, kind of if you haven't caught it on the news or, you know, ESPN, whatever your choices for your news, you know we'll have at least who's who's implicated.
What are the teams to keep an eye on? As far as, uh, Cove in 19 is concerned.
So but Mike, speaking of co vid and speaking of our Week six performances, we'll get into the film room.
Buddy will discuss our usual unexpectedly cast members for the week.
If you will all start.
Um, Mike, I'm gonna actually go in reverse order this time.
So because because because I have been all over this team for, like, the last seven days, seven or eight days, my ugly pick for the week, the entire Dallas Cowboys roster, it's okay other than Amari Cooper.
So the other 52 of you you get lumped into this.
Let's just go through a couple here.
Mike Z two fumbles, 12 carries for 49 yards.
The only reason he was even close to being impactful this week because he had eight catches.
CD, lamb, seven catches, 64 yards snoozer.
Cowboys defense now ranks 32nd in most standard formats.
So, like the Cowboys are a dumpster fire.
If you have a cowboy in a throwback league, I am selling, and I'm selling right now because I was, you know, I got a lot of heat for all my cowboys comments, You know, last week And you know, people that actually come to me with a legitimate fantasy question about the Cowboys.
I told him the only person I would consider keeping on this team right now is a Zico.
That's the only safe guy that I wouldn't trade, You know, don't don't trade, Zeke.
That's just, um they're gonna rely on this running game, right? You still, even with that? He's still a top six player in points per game. Fantasy wise.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Zeke is a must start.
But but guys like Amari Cooper CD lamb, Michael Gallup.
I have No, I have no faith that these guys will remain fancy relevant.
Granted, Amari Cooper caught that touchdown in garbage time.
But you know if it weren't for for basically the Cardinals resting under laurels.
What if he found the end zone way? Don't know eso so that so That was my ugly picture week, buddy.
So we'll go to a little bit brighter here.
Usual pick for the week.
George Kittel tight end of the San Francisco seven catches, 109 yards and a touchdown against a stingy Rams defense.
So, Mike, I was kind of going through my head, you know, since tight ends became relevant not only in the NFL but in fantasy football and, like, I can't think of somebody since Peak Antonio Gates Peak Rob Gronkowski That has been a sure fire can't miss every week at the tight end position.
Like George Kittle.
Travis Kelsey I would put in that same tear.
Um, but as far as consistent production when he's been on the field and granted, injuries have been an issue where Kells has stayed healthy in comparison.
Uh, but But like, I can't I can't think of a guy that fits an offense better and has mawr production than George Kittle because they were running.
Attack is insane.
We know that 34 headed monster at times they attack the seams, which is really, really, really good for his skill set.
And, like I said, the only person that comes close to minus Travis Kelce who? Let's, Let's face it there, one a one b right? But I think, but I think Kittles performance is more impressive just because they've had a traditionally great running game.
And let's face it, Travis Kelsey has also had the best quarterback in football last three years.
That's quarterback and tools on the outside, right? In Kansas City.
Absolutely, Without a doubt, it's not even clubs.
I think of Kittle is the Yak monster man.
He is such a great breakaway speed, I think Route running.
Kelsey and Kittel are very similar, but it's that extra burst that I see Kid will have.
That is just I think that's what takes you to the next level because he can take it to the House and he will make those big plays.
And I think that's something that just why he will go from 15 20 point game to 30 40 point game because he's he's a yak monster.
Mike, my unexpected for the week and we actually talked bad about this guy a couple weeks ago.
Uh, Andres with running back for the Detroit Lions, 14 carries, 116 yards a pair of touchdowns on Sunday also added in three catches for under 10 yards.
Mike, you have more snaps and Adrian Peterson Sunday.
And remember, if you remember what I said a few weeks ago, when we talk about the Lions backfield, it was that Darrell Bevell was noncommittal to Adrian Peterson, Right? So this is a and he said, We're gonna go with whoever fits the offense, whoever shows us what they got.
And evidently, DeAndre Swift showed them something that they like because, you know, it's looking like he's gonna be the guy in Detroit moving forward.
He's only roster.
He's still not rostered.
Almost 20% of leaks, believe it or not.
So you would think that a guy this young in that offense, where they want to try to open a passing game from last effort would be, you know, somebody that you would stash right? That is a great state, that this was that this would happen and those who did that are being rewarded now.
So if you're in one of those 20% leagues that doesn't have him might be run to the wire this week because he's clearly gained the trust of Darrell Bevell and Matt Patricia on that lines often.
So, Mike, who are your three this week? But all right, I'm also gonna do some a little unorthodox.
We're gonna go with our first defense on this one here.
The Pittsburgh Steelers man, a za Browns fan hated to see it.
But if I'm a fantasy owner, you've got to see this.
That defense has gone for eight points, 13.
7 points, eight points and 18 fantasy points.
And they did against an offense that people were really high on this last week against the Cleveland Browns.
Um, look, the thing that I love about them for fantasy wise is there getting after the passer.
Q B hurries, lead interceptions, Q B.
Sax Lee, two fumbles and touchdowns.
So this is a team that you know is gonna put up points each week.
Even if they have a bad we could give a bunch of points.
They're gonna be counteracted that with sacks, fumbles, interceptions.
Um, they were I mean, they jumped routes.
They that was a team that I want.
Everything I can if somebody drops somewhere, has to put him on their bye week, make them a priority when they come available again.
Eso They were the usual.
It's not a surprise, but that was something that we we haven't done yet.
So I figured I'd give some defensive love out there.
Then I go to my unexpected, um, somebody that we weren't too sure on.
I said that The only thing I will say I was very right on his.
I thought Watson was dependent on Brandon cooks for him to blow up right.
He needed that secondary option on the outside or in the slaughter.
Whoever cooks is lining up, uh, to have him go off for a day.
And he had a big day, and Brandon cooks did, too.
He went nine catches on nine targets so that 100% does make me a little nervous because that's not gonna happen every week, right? It's just you're not going to see that.
But then he had touchdown as well 161 yards.
Um, look, Will Fuller has been weirdly consistent this year outside of the one week we had zero.
Um, other than that, that means cooks is a secondary threat can be viable.
So if he can keep that up that somebody gotta watch for, uh, it's somebody that you could He could really push Watson into that next level of territory up in the top five.
Like we talked about a week or two ago and then the ugly somebody that I honestly thought was kind of impervious to bad game flow.
He's a good pass catching back, and he only had 7.
7 points against the Steelers.
It was tough sliding all day.
It just looks like the Steelers outcoached.
Outplayed them everything like that.
But I would have expected, even with trailing, that he would get 67 targets and he'd catch them.
And as he does, he's had a couple past, uh, receiving touchdowns this year.
But here's the thing with him is he still has to tasty matchups coming up.
So he's not something that you should sell on or anything like that.
But I was very surprised with how ugly that was because I thought he was impervious to the game flow.
We're gonna have one of the interns get rid of that tasty comment.
That was just waste.
Uh, tasty matchup.
But yeah, Cream hunt, that was That was a bit of a surprising, surprising outcome.
You know, on Sunday I really expected the Browns to be in that game.
I think the big thing in that game was the edge.
Defenders both outside linebackers and defensive ends for the Steelers just dominated the Browns on the edge.
Which really you know, when you when you talk about what the Browns like to do, get outside of the pocket, get that running back out into space that takes that stuff away.
And it really limited Kareem Hunt Thio.
Really? Ah, lackluster performance.
So I I like to pick you somebody I consider from my ugly pick this week.
But of course gave my cowboy some love cell.
So I have, like, you gotta watch.
There is what you're saying there is.
They really got after the quarterback.
They kept Baker in the pocket.
O b j owners need to watch that everyone needs watch that because browns the secrets out now, right? That's how you have to defend the browns.
Keep Baker in the pocket and force that issue.
If teams can continue to do that, that might That might spell some ugly weeks for Brown's owners.
We'll talk a little more about Steelers Defense is coming up in hell. No.
But, Mike, now we'll talk a little bit about our fantasy locks.
And, uh, boy way both laid a stinker this week, but I got always preface this.
We are trying to pick players that are likely for you to be able to pick up.
So we're giving ourselves a challenge.
And last week was a rough one.
We tried to not give you guys the obvious.
Oh, you know, Z girly.
It's a lot this week. Yeah, well, no ****.
Uh, Derrick Henry is a lot this week.
Uh, but my my pick last week, James Robinson, who I thought was I mean, I What did I say? I was I wasn't gonna take a win unless you had a touchdown.
125 yards, I think.
Mike, he had 12 character, 29 yards.
Big fat l for me, my friend.
Leaves me at three.
Um, this was Ah, lock.
I felt really good about going into last week.
The Lions rush defense is terrible, and they locked Robinson down.
They locked him down.
That's a big win for the Lions.
You know, I think that was, I think, that when save met Patricia's job for another week, so but make this week, my friend.
I'm gonna go a little outside the box.
I'm gonna go Tee Higgins, the wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Mike since Week three.
No less than seven targets becoming quickly.
One of Joe Burrow favorite targets.
The Browns around the ropes.
We just talked about it.
They had an embarrassing loss of Pittsburgh.
They're banged up on defense.
Big time, right? Rodney Harrison's been out. Greedy.
Williams hasn't played this year.
May not play this year, which leaves Dens Award on Island and the Bangles have more than one guy that could get downfield Mike.
So he's gonna have his hands full with a J.
Green. Tyler Boyd.
You know, which leaves Higgins and a lot of one on one coverage is and and Mike, I don't trust any.
Brown's Corner not named Denzel War to cover him one on one e think fair.
A fair match up that I think you have a really good point here.
So I really like Tee Higgins this week.
Um, I didn't look before the show.
What his percentage own was.
I can't imagine it's super high if it's not a dynasty league.
So, um, which? That's one thing.
If if if by some grace of God and ESPN fancy football employees watches the show, could we could we get a dynasty league versus, uh, throwback league percent of Jones in the staff? That would be that.
That would be nice.
So but, like, who are your Who's your like this week? Alright.
My lock this week after I took it out last week. I'm just gonna leave it there.
He was victory fell victim to that, uh, terrible start for the Vikings.
They just never got back on track eso this week.
I have a guy, this one. I think it's pretty risky.
He's been injured for a while.
That toe is healthy.
Um, look, I I'm locking him, and I think I'm being very I think that's very tough.
If you're really in a rough spot, you've been hit with injuries.
You need somebody to plug and play this week.
It's because of his matchup.
Look, the Bills were gonna They need to get back on track.
And what better team than the Jets to do it against? Um, I will say that I will only take a win here if he gets over 12 PPR points.
I do think he's gonna find the end zone, and I think that I think they might start grinding the game out as they put the Jets away early.
And Zach Moss is gonna be allowed to shake that rust off from the toe injury and kind of get back to because pre season he was a guy that was getting some buzz, Um, Thio, challenge Singletary and really just kinda take some ownership in that backfield.
And now it's like with the injury, it's obviously set off.
So he's a guy that people may have fall asleep on.
And if you're really looking for some this week, I think it's just a great matchup for a backup running back to get it and put some points up.
So I think he's gonna go over 12 and that's my lock for you this week.
Pick Mike and I, like most like you said on the goal line a lot.
So I think he's I referred to it earlier in the season that Jerome Bettis stat line where you have three or four carries for for 10 yards and a touchdown, you know, so definitely not out of the realm of possibility, Mike.
But what is possible, my friend, is us going to hell? No.
And, Mike, I'll start.
What, uh, way need We need one impressed session before the end of the year.
Uh, but like we, we haven't talked about the bucks yet on the show tonight.
But we'll go ahead and jump in.
Jump down there to Tampa.
He's fired up 300 plus yard games.
Mike in a row at a two touchdowns on Sunday against what I thought was a pretty stingy Packer's defense.
Especially against the run, Mike.
Has Jones done enough to be a shoo in r B two in fantasy football? Oh, hell, yeah.
Look, until proven otherwise, I think he is an RV to, uh he's showing burst, and he's throwing straight bruiser status like he is running physically.
Um, I think that pairs really well with what Brady has always done.
I think he's gonna dio and like that gang receivers they have, you can't if you start stacking the box, they're gonna go up top on you, and they're gonna go big play after big play.
Um, I will admit for net definitely scares me, especially as he gets healthier.
But why rushing back at this point? Eso this where? I think I think Jones is gonna get 10 plus carries a game, even when foreign, it's healthy and And the way he's running its he's still gonna be a guy who can put up 15 20 points a game on PPR, and he's getting a couple targets.
I know he's not known for being receiving running back, but he's getting a few targets, which does but push that up a little bit.
If you look, he's got 90.
What, 97 targets this 97 attempts this year already.
So he's getting the volume.
So that's why he locks in as the way he's running in that volume of 97 touches already on the ground makes him an RV to lock for me.
So far, no, I agree.
And I love what Bruce Arians is doing down there in Tampa.
This is a little bit unorthodox for Tom Brady, where you have kind of, you know, he's always done.
You know, the one thing they always did New England was that whatever that you knew, they were gonna be good at.
They were really, really good at.
And they focused a ton on it, right? So whether it was when they had the two tight ends with Gronk and Aaron Hernandez or whatever there it was, you know, they wanted to go crazy with Randy Moss or whatever the case was about a backfield. Taxes.
And they've always played great defense.
And I think they've adopted that same kind of thing in Tampa and that's they play great defense and the number one scoring defense in fantasy football right now.
They run the ball really well, and then they got guys that can that can open up the field.
So I mean, you know, I was not on the Bucks bandwagon, so to speak, heading into the season.
But, man, they're looking really, really good it might.
Speaking of somebody looked really good.
A J Brown huge comeback game on Sunday.
Grab five catches for two touchdowns, 56 yards.
Got a got a game to the two of the last three unbeatens, your third being right here on my chest.
Our meeting on Sunday when they take on the Steelers Mike Steelers air, allowing nearly 40 points a game to fancy wide receivers.
But there is a caveat.
My friend Taylor Lewan done for the year.
Ryan Tannehill's left side, his blindside little bit exposed so well, I should say Blind Sykes and they use a lefty.
But either way, uh, nonetheless is Number one offensive lineman done for the year.
Gives you that half a second less toe. Throw the ball.
Maybe to get a guy like a J.
Brown downfield and the Pittsburgh Steelers pass for us.
We talked about it earlier, was insane Sunday.
So, Mike hell no.
Hell yeah, is a J. Brown.
There's a start of a J.
Brown, a safe bet this week.
Brown, but this week it's a hell.
No e say this because I'm a big fan of his I love when if he's seven targets is enough for him because of the air yards in just the situation when they're throwing is usually really a positive look.
Um, and if it's not there chasing it down, he goes and makes plays.
So, like this last week, where you see has two touchdowns on five catches, Um, has a big day.
Um, what I did is I looked at the last three playoff games that the Titans played in.
Um, he had a total of 10 targets for 64 yards.
Um, six of those targets and 51 yards came in the Super Bowl.
So that means in the to the best, the better of the three defense.
Is those two best defenses? Yep.
Aaron, NFC Championship F C champion.
Sorry. Thank you.
Um, they had he had, what, six targets and 51 yards.
Um, and then the two other games.
He only had four targets in 13 yards.
So when he plays, good defense is they take him away and he has not made his presence just a dominating force.
It So I love a J.
Brown Steelers proved that they're going to get after the quarterback and that they are going to take away what you can dio.
So they're gonna take away Derek.
They're gonna take away Derrick Henry and their pride and try to take away a J. Brown.
No, I don't I don't not like that.
I think that's a great I think it's I think it's a coin flip.
You ready for him? I love him because, but it's also not.
It's not a bad floor, either, right? No, because if he gets four targets or seven targets and he catches four of them, one of most probably for 30 40 yards, like that's the thing with age around is he is putting up those catches that So that's why I'm a big fan of them.
I don't need him to get to 10 to 15 targets that have a 10 15 point days.
Well, I do think it's targets go up this week with with John Smith being banged up.
So yeah, that will help us help us case.
All right. Like all right. Justin Jefferson.
He's been a darling of mind so far this year.
He has two games over 30 points in PPR leagues? Hell, no. Hell, yeah.
Does Justin Jefferson have another 30 point game before He has another five point game? Hell, yeah.
Mike, this boils down to matchups, my friend and Jefferson's gonna face Green Bay, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Carolina, Jacksonville, Tampa, Chicago again in New Orleans before the end of most fantasy football season's.
If you finish up 16 Mike there to defense is that even make me begin to worry.
And they happen to be the third, the last and last game of that, Those ones I just mentioned.
So any games that I think he's gonna be totally eliminated from, I think don't fall till till the end of the season.
So and like I said, being being the fact that he's had such a monster year, he's definitely garnering a lot of attention.
But, man, uh, he's been doing that last two weeks and that we've still been able to guard the guy, so Yeah, hell, yeah, Absolutely.
I'm with you on that one, Blake.
Um, we're going to another receiver.
And you already talked about Cincinnati, and I find this very interesting.
So Tyler Boyd has been very consistent.
Besides what, like one touch dropped touchdown early on.
Um, it may have cost my fantasy team of law, so I might be a little salty, but anyways, Blake Hell, no.
Does Tyler boy go for 15 plus PPR points this weekend against the Browns? I think my answer is gonna surprise you. Hell, no.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
Like I say that they're still pretty high floor with Tyler board this weekend, especially against the Browns.
But with the reinstatement of that running game in Cincinnati and the emergence of the aforementioned tee Higgins, I just don't see the target share sustaining a.
Green showed a little bit of frustration on Sunday, so there's going to be a bigger mix.
Ah, more of a mixed bag, I think, this week going into Cleveland, Which is why I think Tee Higgins definitely has a good game now, Mike, if they trade a J green between now and Sunday, I want you to ask me this question again on Twitter s because because I still have a feeling a J.
Green's not wearing orange and black before the end of the year.
Okay? So e think they got.
I think they got a couple young guys that they like and you know, it's a J.
Green if you think about it.
With the exception of A.
Green and Gino Atkins, there's not a whole lot left of that old guard on the Bangles.
Right? And one thing.
We've talked about it on this show a lot the last couple weeks with some of the head coach firings, this culture.
Green's not conducive to the culture you're wanting to build, then Hey, we've seen big names get traded.
Odell Beckham is a prime example.
I mean, guys that were in their prime get treated in a J. Green's.
Even on the back side, he's on the down slope.
So after several years of injuries and right, so so I mean, like I said, ast faras Tyler boys concerned? Yeah, hell, no.
I don't think he has a huge game this weekend in Cleveland.
Um, but like I said, I don't think I don't think he has a terrible game either.
So But Mike, speaking of bye weeks and terrible things happening like injuries, let's do our new segment.
My friend called wire fire Guys, What we've done here is we like to look at guys that are owned and around 50% or less of the league's out there.
And what we're gonna focus on here is guys that are maybe you have some by weeks coming up.
You know, just looking at Week seven.
You know, guys like Adam feeling Dalvin Cook, Jonathan Taylor, Mark Andrews, Devante Parker Miles gassing.
All these guys were on buys this week, right? And obviously we're dealing with injuries.
Guys like Miles Sanders, Nick Chubb.
There's a whole slew of injuries this year.
We've all seen it.
So, like I said, like these air guys that may not be owned in a high percentage of leagues.
Right? So I'll start and what we're gonna do, guys give you one of each position, so I'm running back.
Wide receiver, a tight end.
So one of each of the flex positions quarterbacks, I think we can all agree outside.
You know, everybody to a now, right? Yeah.
Everybody could pick up a decent quarterback at this point in the year if there's one out there, so we don't need to tell you stuff that you're, you know well, like my running back this week, I'm gonna go Boston Scott from the Philadelphia Eagles.
He's only owned in 11.
7% of leagues on ESPN dot com.
Miles Sanders, looking increasingly like he's not going to play this week, and they have a very, as you called earlier, tasty matchup against Stick against against the Giants.
Um, and you know one thing they've shown, especially last week, cause they love to give this.
They love to get the ball. Boston Scott on the goal line.
So I think he's gonna be if at worst, you know, maybe one of those Jerome Bettis stat lines.
You know, at best, maybe he has 100 year day in a touchdown, you know? So I think we're I think we're looking at a guy that's gonna put up some decent numbers, especially if Miles Sanders doesn't play this week.
And maybe he's the guy you stashed to because Sanders has been dealing with issues all year.
Let's face it, the Eagles air Terrible Who? What motivates Miles Sanders to go out there and keep taking a drubbing every week just to get beat up? So but Mike I'll move on to a team that's beating up teams except for this past week, which in their defense, they play the Chiefs.
And that's the Buffalo Bills.
Cole Beasley gonna be my wide receiver pick owned in 39.
That surprised me right there.
Surprising right, considering he's had a dozen or more points in four weeks this season.
No fewer than 9.8 points.
Eso Huge boom potential this week against the Jets, who we all know the Jets are.
The Jets are the Jets, right? They are probably the worst team in football.
Yes, I want it, if not by far.
And they're selling their selling and they didn't care.
Right? And funny thing.
Funny story to Mike watching the games on Sunday, Wife walks in, Cole Beasley catches that touchdown pass, and my wife's like, Wow, that was a really nice play by that guy.
You should you should pick him up.
Eso so so nonetheless.
Cole Beasley, my wire fire pick for wide receivers this week.
Mike, I think this one I'm gonna classify as a flyer pick.
You know, there's a couple guys out there I'd probably be a little more confident with the pick, but this is a guy I would maybe pick up, especially if you're in a bidding league like I am.
Maybe you bid the minimum on this guy.
And that's Anthony first grew from the Tennessee Titans owned and less than 1% of leagues on ESPN dot com.
So, like I said, a flyer pick Mike, he did impress Sunday.
Huge day and John Who? Smith has been banged up.
That's a system to They like to get downhill.
They like to pound it out, and they know the studio's gonna try and take stuff away.
So it just it seems to set up for that.
So I like your I like it here Well, and even more so.
Mike Steelers lost their best coverage linebacker for the year.
Devin Bush is out for the year. Tours A.
C L not convinced that Williams or any of those guys that will slide into that spot can cover him now if they do decide to slide making Fitzpatrick down, that's another story to be had.
But, uh, I probably wouldn't start him this week against Pittsburgh just because they've done a pretty good job against opposing tight ends this year, but might Yeah.
Cincinnati, Chicago, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Detroit, in Houston between now and the end of the fantasy season.
So definitely some big boom potential definitely appears to Ryan.
Tannehill likes him.
So if you're willing to take a flyer on a guy, maybe you have a solid tight end like a George Kittle.
Er, you know Mark Andrews, and you want that extra insurance policy? Maybe you got you pick up a cheap without much, much resistance this week.
So, Mike, who you have, buddy.
All right, so I'm gonna double down on what I said earlier.
Only around 50% of leagues.
Um, look, he suited up for the first time against the Chiefs.
He didn't do much.
And it's just again, it's the J E t s jets, jets, jets. They're terrible.
Um, there b a d bad.
Uh, just to keep that little joke going, Um, I just expect him to see a lot of touches.
Like you said, he's great on the goal line.
Um, I think he's going to see how that game off is a way to shake rust So I think he's a guy, and this one kind of surprised me because of the talent I see in him.
Henry rugs own in just about 15 around 50% of leagues in Yahoo.
Um, look, he had a bye week.
He should be finally fully healthy to go, and he's ready to make plays.
He's a guy, I think, minimally, you pick up and stash on your team, especially as we're going into the bye weeks out of the schedule.
Um, he is somebody.
I honestly hey, had to what? To catches for almost 100 yards, Uh, before the by a big on him.
He's not just a speed guy.
He's a great runner runner and he is able to make plays.
Eso He's somebody I am very high on, and I have stashed in many leagues.
And here's an interesting stat.
I found out as I was doing.
I know it's for the show today.
Derek Carr leads the league in completion percentage.
Yeah, so, Derek Carr, I I mentioned it, I think last week or the week before, and I know I talked about it on Twitter a while back that I didn't say it was gonna be the first year didn't even say it's gonna be a second year.
But eventually that marriage of Derek Carr and Jon Gruden was going to come to fruition.
And I think we're starting to see Thean fancy of that.
That love affair, especially.
Yeah, you know, they got Jacobs in the backfield, their offensive line stout.
They had another pass catcher.
You know they have Darren Waller.
So they got, They got, they got weapons, they got one more guy on the outside will be comfortable.
Don't like Nelson Aguilar that much.
But if if they could get one more guy on the outside, that offense could be very, very scary for the next couple of years.
The Chiefs, well, still better but challenged for the next couple of years.
So weren't better last week.
But go on my cruise tight.
Uh, I went with Logan Thomas.
He's only 14% owned, and look, he does have a low floor.
He's had a couple of like two or three games.
He was like 23 points, but it also had two games for his over 13 points, and then he is going into a prime match up this week s Oh, it's against the struggling Dallas team, that dumpster fire.
Should I expect to see him put up some points minimally, if the Dallas offense gets gets it going, that defense hasn't got it going, and I see nothing about it.
That tells me they're going to start putting, uh, start stopping offenses.
So I think he is a guy who can actually hit his ceiling more so than the floor here.
Hey, I like that pick Mike, And you know, I certainly think this segment's going to be big for like you said.
As we get further in the season, there's by weeks. There's injuries.
This segment is going to be huge for the playmakers.
