Mind welcoming, Talking about way the makers e mean grounding the gents way.
Talking about how my way looking a big adjustment in game six way That was like in game five by starting Crusoe E smart move e o give a few of our people to catch up.
E have this thing, man.
I was at the other day and waas uh, listening thio this album or this soundtrack called Purple Rain.
I know you've heard of it.
Don't pretend like you have it, But so a search for the people in the soundtrack where I was a Okay, something is doesn't want to look at the track list.
Um all right, so there's this smooth thing is everybody you know, You know, this is a chance to catch up. Whatever, e.
The purple Rain soundtrack.
I'm gonna get to the mix stuff and I'm gonna get to the NBA stuff.
Um, but I just want to talk about this briefly, um, for a few moments until, um, until a few of the guys that are gonna come in get a chance to come over from Twitter, uh, shout to mix Twitter by the way.
Hey, what's up? Stay here.
Um just wanna shout out, um, next Twitter, um, for being a testing ground for a lot of the topics that we talked about.
A lot of this stuff that we talked about basically argue over kind of makes it way makes its way into the show.
We don't want to just talk about just random stuff that goes nowhere.
So is listening. Thio soundtrack.
And there are a few songs as you go down the track list.
You realize how good of a soundtrack this is? So of course, there are songs on the soundtrack that will reduce the singles.
Um, that's crazy.
Um, when does cry a purple rain? E o.
There was some really good songs, right? E other songs that you listen Thio Yeah, that's something.
E o e health principio Uh huh.
So you have something called Take me with you like let's talk like that's a really good song on.
And then there's this song right after after uniforms E remember here that some everywhere on not intentionally like places intentionally want to force you for lunch on you, But those were good music tastes were playing like a D J or some kind of a moment.
Some kind of gather you like a luncheon, the lunch function code breakers you might hear near it or on the recession, a wedding or something you might hear.
You're for runs.
You know, just playing back in the day in the house.
When you walk down the hall, you're like, Wow.
And I just for some reason e tend to hear this song everywhere, right? So basically what I'm being that is sometimes greatness is underrated, and it's greatness.
And none of that sounds, um off.
How did this greatness sound off in this greatness? It's, uh, um, you know, s how does greatness underrated and its greatness e.
Give me an example.
So cold rain thing, You know, it was just a random thought.
I was alone, you know, myself, just thinking about, you know, some stuff.
But it dawned on me, right? You know how great, How great.
Thanks for the hotel tvo.
That s Oh, So how great is the career of LeBron James e? All right, all right, all right.
I did that just for you, Um, s So how great is the career of LeBron James? E? Think about that for a minute.
For all you haters that hate greatness, I understand it to gonna hate LeBron's career because it is great.
It was a great career, you know, if our barracks career Robert LeBron James career, I think that's next.
Fans would say, um, he's probably the greatest nick of all time, right? Um, something just say Just just get back to the LeBron thing.
Um, how the world can you wear ship for three different cities? So you championship for the cleaning capitals who sucks and everything.
Cleveland, Ohio is the butt of every joke of every big city joke everywhere.
Cleaning Ohio, even even Joakim Noah said once who held most vacation and cruel in Ohio e found that the funniest thing that I heard.
Yeah, one of the funniest thing I heard from from that year, LeBron James has gone thio finals.
Well, so many people, um, his his attractors will say that he needs, uh, supporting cast in order to smooth.
John Salley won championships E Pistons.
Dennis Rodman won championships with the Pistons.
Right, Let's up.
Um, no um, you know, it's this thing I think LeBron James is Greatness is e think compared to other grace e think he probably has done a disservice.
I'm not of LeBron fan, by the way.
Just appreciate greatness.
Like I mentioned how I feel like rain is underrated and his greatness You know how you can how we heard rain in 1984 and you thought it was so cool Technology and cutting it sounds and all that stuff.
And then now, when you listen to it in 2020 will Hey, even though you know some of those bags that are not being used in music, you can still appreciate Wait and listen to a range from song One song Andi have re appreciation for, uh, you know, give you the same thing for LeBron James career, where in 2003 you appreciated him for being the tithe before, before LeBron James in 16 82 50 minute that you were a banking local power forward.
Um, you know, no range, which is really tough playing at the basket and 22 68 to 50 means you can play with everyone.
And you can say you say with James that you created opposition is basketball.
Hey, argue is the fact that LeBron James, at 16 to 15 did whatever he wanted for a long as he wanted and still do whatever he wants right now.
Right? So how does this sound is? A sound pretty level can e way appreciate everybody coming through way.
My real question to you guys is this e want your feedback? E My mike is messed up.
You used to get something back here.
E too loud for y'all e e Let me do something here.
Yeah, between, you know, Yeah.
How about that? Is that better? Mhm.
And let me follow Tina Tiki tequila and Norm Core.
Yeah, you're gonna follow you all just in case.
Just in case you put some stuff out there.
That way, I'll be aware when you all get on that way, I could come through and support so some the LeBron thing, the the bubble chip on guy and I almost giggled saying that bubble chip.
So anyway, anyway, um, the bubble chip I don't know how it impacts me.
Um, long term in the short term, in the short term, um, I'm not really? I'm not really, um that impressed with the bubble chip.
But you know what? Achievements are what they are.
It's like it's like graduation, you know, high school graduation, you know? Ah, class of class of 4000.
And you graduate.
So you like? So it's like, Well, I mean, yeah, I wasn't the valedictorian to salutatorian, didn't we? Gonna row Didn't get a sash to wear my gown, but dammit, e made it e graduated s So that's what this bowl of chips feels like to me, It feels like, you know, graduating in the middle of your high school class.
You know, you didn't impress anybody.
You didn't blow anybody away with your statistics and all that stuff.
But But you graduated, you achieve something, right? So I think that s so I feel like that's where we are with LeBron and his bubble chip, where we may not be.
Uncle Freezing may not be impressed by his bubble chip, but LeBron going where the hell out of that ring when you get it.
That's for certain.
You know what I mean.
So it's one of those is one of those things.
I feel like and also the thing to that that goes unappreciated.
I think I heard somebody say LeBron has been to 10 MBA finals and my guy at work told me Well, Michael Jordan was six and won the finals and LeBron James are six times in the finals.
And so e saying this to that.
If you told Michael Jordan he could make it to 10 finals and he could only win six, I want to make it to 10 MBA finals.
Nobody is disputing LeBron or no one should dispute LeBron's achievement there.
Hey, what's up to my man? Freaky.
Hey, Keith, Whenever you're ready, man, whenever you're ready.
I got to see over here for you whenever Whenever you're ready.
Um um So to LeBron's, um, to LeBron's career, I say that, you know, I bring that up because sometimes I think we get, um, fascinated with things that have been quickly or whatever is the most popping.
You could be popping, you could be popping right.
But if something that's more popping, people will forget about you in the instant, You know what I mean? Like like for instance, the Miami Heat.
What's up to just making waves? What's happening? Um, so I'm following everybody.
Like I said before, you know, I'm following everybody just in case you all get on here and do something.
I want to know what it is that you're doing so I can come through and support your stuff too.
You know, I'm saying I think SportsCastr has a good platform out here for for Joe Blow's, like ourselves to come out just random ham and Eggers like ourselves to come out here.
And, um, you know, um, talking about our teams give our opinions about sports and whatever, um, in a way that's unseen or or unusual to the media because I'm just a job.
However, every day, have a job, you know, at bills.
You know what I mean.
But I'm a sports fan and and I like toe Have I like to have ah, might take heard occasionally.
You know, um, you know, it is one of those things.
Like, you know, we listen to the recycled media like he listened thio like Like I'm not a big fan off waiting through three minutes for some reason.
Um after this commercial break, we'll let you watch your reaction.
Smith and the Cowboys.
I am feeling that I don't give a **** about Stephen A Smith or his his reaction.
Sorry for cursing too young, but, um, yeah, you know, keep I'm gonna be I'm gonna be here.
I'm gonna be here for a while, man.
I got on for y'all.
You know what I'm saying? I saw some stuff happening and e I wanted to get on in an address.
Um, I'm just real quick, man.
So I'll be here for a while if you man a and e.
Listen, man, I don't get in the way of people in the gym or there.
Do you think, boss, I'll be here.
But so anyways, back toe, my point was, um I think SportsCastrs platform is perfect for cats like us.
That that have an opinion.
You know what I'm saying? Um um, and when I say unusual, I don't mean peculiar in a sense that it doesn't make sense.
I mean, I mean different from the status off different, and from what you get forced.
You've been force fed over the last 20 years.
You know what I mean? Um, yeah.
So So I say whenever y'all come on, whoever it is, if I see that I'm not following you are the first thing I'm gonna do is shut you out and click that follow button.
Because because I feel like, you know, different opinions.
And such is what makes the conversation better.
You know, reasonable, reasonable minds can disagree, but but not but not giving somebody a chance to express a point that they may be valid to me is valid to me is a crime.
You know what I mean? You know, you gotta listen, Thio.
You gotta listen to your people, you know, listen to everybody.
And even if it doesn't make sense in the moment, you may come around to it later on.
Right. So, back to the LeBron thing.
So the LeBron thing to me, um, is important because I feel like we have to appreciate, um, the greatness of our time.
Right? Dude, I'm not saying that that our time is better than anybody else's without What infant with our emphasize, though, is that, um, everybody has their own prime, so to speak, like my uncle's in them, Like my uncle's in them, I think are in their eighties.
Um, their prime was the sixties and seventies, you know, maybe some eighties.
You know, it's going to get him out to the nineties and in terms of sports, when you get to the about the nineties, they forget a lot of stuff.
But, man, you could talk to them about Joe Morgan who passed away today, um, about the chicken wing by coming up there, The chicken wing man, you know? Yeah, those those of y'all my age.
You all know what I'm talking about.
With Joe Morgan made Joe Morgan rest in peace and his family have strength and comfort, you know, throughout, you know, doing this time of tragedy.
But when you talk to them about Bob Gibson, who also passed away recently, um, men, their eyes light up about the greatness, how great things sports moments of their time.
You know, um, you know, the Joe name is Jets.
You know what I mean? For jet stands out there, that's probably, you know, that's that's a little a little shout you all the way.
You know what I'm saying? Because I know you all are going through some hard times being over five.
But, um, eso back to back to LeBron.
I think the what we should probably do is not just, um um look at our teams wins and losses this year on.
And I say that from a Knicks fans perspective.
You know where our team is trash.
Our organization is trash.
You know, um, you know, we need to get back on that winning side.
But I think what we need to do is have some perspective, though, You know, you have perspective about the things that LeBron James is achieved during his career, so that when we get older and people come to us, the generation behind this generation can come to us and ask us a legit question.
Um, who is the goat was with LeBron James Better than Michael Jordan, you know.
Okay, So who did you all go? You could put you could put your goal in in the comment box.
Um, you know, nobody's gonna judge you.
This is a judgment free zone, right? We don't judge.
We don't judge here.
Not on that now.
if you say something ridiculous.
If you say something ridiculous like, um um if you say something ridiculous like Steph Curry is not in your top 10 all time.
Good conversation, then, to me, that's ridiculous.
But you know what, though, To you what I just said.
So I mean, so what? But I'm in terms of of LeBron James own.
I think you have to give him credit for what he did.
You know, the battleship to me is not impressive.
And when I say that, I mean, I don't care who won.
I don't care if the Brooklyn Nets one to me, it would not have been impressive to me, right? I'm not knocking LeBron or the Lakers or the heat specifically.
What I'm saying is, is the bubble chip really just the thing to me? With everything going on in the country, um, on so many different layers levels, um, so many different things we're seeing in 2020.
So many tragic deaths.
Like, um Kobe Bryant, Chadwick Boseman, Bob Gibson, Joe Morgan.
You're like, man 2020 has been a monster.
And then and then when you couple that with you know, the bubble chip, The coronavirus You like the bubble chip means less.
So now I'm gonna have that out of the way E wanted to talk about.
Next Twitter's topic.
Did your And that is, um Yeah, the mind set off.
And you know what? How about I open it up to open it up to? Not just the next.
I open it up to NBA front office mindsets.
How about that? How about we do that? All right, so N b a eh? NBA standings.
So e opened up, so I opened up.
So a soon as I pulled up a reference, the first team I see is the Milwaukee Bucks e Okay, um, what should there, Um, front off his mindset.
Be like, what should be there? Um, number one priority this offseason because they have several.
They have as many needs as the Knicks do accept, their needs are placed in different areas. Right.
So if you have the Milwaukee Bucks, the playoffs meeting the playoffs is given for them.
I think they're going to take that for granted based on their roster construction, right? Oh, yeah.
That that the bucks are gonna say, um, we're going to make the playoffs.
But we wanna win a championship while we have Yannis and we wanna have Yanis for the foreseeable future, Right? Do you? So, what do you do to keep you on this? Yeah, this will be a free agent in 2020.
Um, can do what he wants, but And listen, every billionaire in the MBA is gonna be ready to stroke that check for Yonas.
Everybody's gonna be able to be ready to cut the check because they know it's who's they sign unis.
Um, the worth of their franchise is gonna skyrocket, right? Regardless, who you are, Even the Knicks, even the Knicks are like that.
They are are worth more than than any other team in the NBA.
Right, But, um, ASU, nas Jonah's becomes available.
They're gonna jump in line also, you know, because you get into this business because you wanna make sure that that, um so one owners will do two things, make money and win chips.
And sometimes sometimes it is easy to make money.
Well, it seems like it should be easy to make money when you're running chips, right? When you win championships, it should be easy to make money.
But in the chase for that chip, you have to spend money, right? You have to draft.
Well, you have to be smart with free agent moves.
Um, you have thio invest in developing young talent.
You have to have a culture off of winning and family.
Um, and how in basketball I Q right.
You have to coach your coaches.
You have to you have to have, ah, situation where even when your coaches come in, even ground level, all the way up to the top guy, everybody is learning and getting better every year.
You don't wanna know it all in this coach, because that that that is what you wanna.
That's what you call being stagnant, right? If your coach is not learning, your entire franchise is not learning.
Right? So what do you do if you're the bucks? Okay.
Is it too late to fire Budenholzer? It is booming holes in the guy.
Do you get buttonholes or better assistance? Yeah, assistant coaches, I should say, because it sounds like I said assistance.
Well, I guess both.
Do you give him more assistance, help or the or and or do you give them or assistance as staff? Um, you know something to think about, right? We should probably be for the bucks.
The party should be resigning. Honest.
Everything else is out the window.
If I'm the owner, I If I'm the owner, everything else is playing.
Be honest, is playing a because the Milwaukee Bucks was also ran rudderless.
No direction, franchise until they drafted Yannas, right? Yeah, I'm talking about recently, I'm talking about the last 30 or so years.
Recently Last 30 or so years, man, I sound like a That sounds like a curmudgeon.
Get off my lawn.
You get off my lawn.
That's what I sound like right now When I say the last 30 years, Right? Recently? The last 30 years.
I don't care if you're laughing.
Not that's That was funny to me.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So if you're if you're the Bucks, if you're the bucks, what do you do? I say, um, yeah, yeah, honest.
You gotta be saying everything starts and ends with you, Honest.
If you if you could re sign you honest.
If you can't, you have to trade them away for pieces.
You have to train him a wing.
And, um, you know, start all over from scratching, in my opinion, because you know, your rosters built a certain way with you, honest.
And if you don't have them, you could really can't afford to pay expensive, that role players to get you to 40 wins.
It just doesn't make sense.
So what do you do if you're the 70 Sixers? We need to if you have to. 76.
So you just hire Doc Rivers, Your roster construction seems like it's Yeah, odd.
So you have a 6 10 point guard that wants to run the floor up and down all night long, and you have 7 ft center, but what? They don't come from me. I just cup.
My son is cut s.
Anyway, um okay, you have a 7 ft center.
Um, that you don't know.
You don't think he wants to run up and down? I think I think he may 1 thio be the classic center post up.
Play near the paint.
Um, coming, rebound.
Protect the rim.
Okay, Um but at the same time, those two, um, styles are What's the word I'm looking for? Is it divergent? No.
These diverging the opposite? No, I don't know.
Divergent Did sound like a good word, though, but But their styles are different.
One guy you know wants to run up and down the floor, and he's great at it.
And the other guy wants to protect the rim block shots, scoring side.
And he's great at it, you know? Where is the middle ground? Conduct rivers Find the middle ground for them? I don't know.
E Think that'll be tough Big.
So I wanted Thio.
So there are two franchises.
Um, this offseason season, I think are in the catbird seat or three.
Three French is, I think are in the catbird seat.
So and I'll name them just so that you know, Teoh, You know, that's a three year three.
So they are, in my opinion, the Phoenix Suns, the Washington Wizards.
The New Orleans pelicans are in the catbird seat, right? And I say that they were like, How in the world can they be in the cat bird seat? Uncle Freeze the they they trash.
You know, they these teams, man, they been rudderless.
No, they're not rudderless, man.
So, um, the Phoenix Suns air Intriguing.
Really, really intriguing.
You know, I say that because I think they, um They did everything in a bubble.
They proved the roster with the way it is right now is currently constructed is probably the six seed in the West.
Um, um, if if the under 18 is not suspended 25 games, I'm at the beginning this season, right? You say how how Increased, blah, blah, blah.
You know, you play like trash and blah, blah, blah.
E think they kind of was catching.
There they they are.
They were improving their stride towards the end of the season.
And then they got to the bubble and was eight.
That wasn't easy feat going eight.
Knowing the bubble was not easy, you know, because of all the stuff going on, the new environment, the new system, the caliber teams, they played what was on the line.
You know what I'm saying? It wasn't easy to go eight.
No, they looked and they looked at Their scheduling was like What was this cup? The Phoenix Suns didn't say what's in my cup.
What I'm saying is, all of a sudden I got a case of yawns I've been up on, I don't know.
Maybe it's that afternoon nap time that may be calling my name, but I'm not taking it.
I'm going to stay here with y'all and talk about the MBA.
So anyways, the Phoenix Suns, um, developed the chemistry in the bubble and and you saw that it's not like it's not a flash in the pan.
That chemistry that they developed came from playing with each other, believing in a system and playing in it long enough for it to collect.
And once they collect, they went undefeated.
You know, you kind of wish you could get that production network.
You know, you have all these at work, you know, everybody is in the in the conference room and you're sitting down.
Yeah, your coffee and, you know, whatever.
Um, whatever it is that you brought to take notes with, whether it's a device or piece of paper, whatever.
Everybody sitting there taking notes about what leadership wants, and then the team is talking about what they want.
And you're trying to develop a strategy where everybody gets what they want and you're efficient at at the thing that everybody wants.
And it leads to higher productivity.
Right? So you're so you're like, um, thank you.
Let me check something here.
So you're like So that's what the Phoenix Suns did.
Basically, they outlined everything with everybody wants it finally clicked form.
They went eight.
But now they feel like they can.
They can get more.
They want more, right? They want more.
You know, they they felt like the productivity they got was not on how efficiency they felt.
Like the productivity they was getting.
They know run was on medium efficiency.
If they can add Ah, player like Chris, Paul or ah, for vanvleet, they feel like the sixth seed is not enough.
They feel like the Denver Nuggets better look out.
They wanna be in at Denver Nuggets conversation.
Where? Where? Um, yeah, they want to be in a different nuggets conversation where it's like, um, don't just talk about hey state.
Um, okay, hold on.
Hey, stay. Send me.
Um, the the invite.
If you send me to invite, I'll accept it.
That's That's my man state from from next Twitter who interrupted my monologue asking to get on.
It's not working on your okay.
All right? You Are you on your phone? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Signing on your laptop, man.
And then And then, um um and sent it to me.
And, you know, you all do the rest, so I'm still new to this.
So I didn't want to click on any any buttons or whatever, and then mess around and and and and the stream because we got we got quite a few people in yet, and And you want to make sure that we provide them with a good product and and for the most part, everybody, um, you know, we'll talk about this thing.
It seems like a bunch of random thoughts, and they are a random thoughts, but that's what I'm trying to do is linked them together.
And don't judge me because you all are random thinkers.
Also, I I know you all are because I'm on social media.
I like I'll read people to tweet or over there or post or whatever they put out there.
And it's like the most random thing you've ever seen in your life.
But you know what, though? That's part.
That's part of the reason why the conversation is so good.
Because no, because people I know don't think linearly if linearly is a word, what they what they generally do, is is they'll think about something and and even if it's like, uh, even if it's like Skip and a gun, it's still excellent.
Thoughts is just, you know, when you think about different things.
We try to tie all that stuff together and blah blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Basically, what I'm getting at is, as were basically here for the people so and shout out to everybody that's here, too.
I like for you all to follow.
Follow me as well.
Um, that way, when when I come on to have these conversations with y'all, Y'all know when I'm in the building, basically, y'all know when I'm on and then you can catch me just like when you all jump on you.
Since I'm following y'all, I'll jump on also, You know what I'm saying and and listen to what you'll have to say and maybe, maybe eventually we can link up and do shows together.
If that's if that's your style.
If y'all just wanna, you know, kick your uncle freezing.
We just kick your uncle freezing.
We just That's what That's what we'll do.
But anyway, back to my back to my thing about the Phoenix Suns.
Um, the Phoenix Suns.
You don't think the Phoenix Suns wannabe acute lottery team you know all the Phoenix Suns got hot? That's a nice little story, you know, Blah, blah, blah.
The Phoenix Suns Don't think that way.
Defending sons are like, man.
If we can train for Chris Paul with many conversation with the Clippers and the Nuggets because we have a star also, and they do, they have one star and another guy and DeAndre atan that that is on the cusp of becoming a star.
I don't know what his numbers all I look at, those let me find his number is really quick.
We find DeAndre Aiden's numbers.
Yeah, to where are they? Yeah, So he's 6 11 while Okay, I thought eight was like, 71 So he's 6 11 so he's shrunk, like, frankly, Latina.
Okay, take a preview.
So according to basketball reference, this guy is 18 points a game and 11 rebounds.
So he's 18 and 11 in his second. Yet.
That's not bad, man.
That's really, really good.
You know, 18 and 11 from a big and he shot.
Okay, so he did not make a three point of this year.
So let's cross that out of the conversation, but s so basically what I'm getting at is Phoenix feels like they're ready.
Even if nobody else believes in them, right? They feel like they're one player away.
And you know what? Now I think they may be if they can pull off the Chris Paul thing.
I think that catapults them ahead of the Dallas Mavericks, the New Orleans Pelicans, pelicans, three Utah Jazz, the Portland Trail Blazers and, um, teams like that, right? So if the reason why I brought them up, though, and the reason why I said they're one of the teams in the catbird seat is because they also have so they So basically, what happened? What I'm getting at is, it's one thing wanting to be a major player like the Detroit Pistons.
The Detroit Pistons want to be a major player.
I see all I've seen you Pistons fans, on social media and on YouTube.
You know, saying all these things like trash in the New York next for random reason, like, first of all.
Okay, let me let me Let me just get this out of the way.
Detroit Pistons Why y'all trash in the New York Knicks with what is the next studio? It's not like we have a rivalry.
It's not like we bounced all out of the playoffs.
It's not like y'all were to seem to rule a seven seed and we bounce you out of the playoffs.
You're trash, We trashy.
But y'all a trash.
Since when does this trash pick on trash? That's not how this thing works, Detroit Persons.
I need to get yourself together, you know, yellow like crazy.
Yeah, that's what you all are.
You all are nuts anyway, So the Phoenix Suns are unlike the Detroit Pistons.
The defending sons actually have assets that they can use and that are appealing that that that they can use in order to improve their team, you know, and you're gonna say Well, are freezing.
What can the Phoenix Suns do? They're strapped for cash, they know.
The Phoenix Suns that are in a decent in a decent if they let all of their contracts expiring, they'll have about $20 million in cap space.
But the word of the bubble, um, was that they want to resign Dario Sarge to play power forward for them because he bawled for them coming off the bench.
The only they're only They're only trepidation is that Dario Sarge may want to be a starter.
And what they wanna do is have him be back up big off the bench, taking advantage of second units.
They wanna let Camp Johnson start, they want to go.
You know, they want to go with that formula that I think works in today's MBA.
I don't wanna go with a point guard.
333 and the wings.
And in a big and their biggest mobile.
So he fits exactly what? What they wanna do, what they want to do defensively and offensively.
You know, it's good friends something.
So they're probably be e I saw something.
I think it was chat, sports or some some YouTube show.
I was getting ready for work, man, you know, going on some stuff.
And I had a TV planet on the other on YouTube on TV in the other room, and they were basically saying how the Phoenix Suns feel like, um, they could trade uber in the 10 pick to the next, uh, to get more cap space in case they want to trade for, um, Chris, Paul or, um, sign Fred Vanvleet.
And to me, it was like the most random thing, because generally that she was like, on the other foot generally is like is a Knicks fan your hair from some popular beat writer with unknown sources? Um uh, some some popular New York beat writer with a lot of inside sources, um, inside the Knicks, giving them quotes, and hence to you know, what's happening in the franchise in this case that she was on the other foot in this case, although he is coming from Phoenix, no pun intended eso, but anyway, um yeah, talking about how they would take on Bobby Portis, Wayne Ellington and the expiring contracts for Kelly.
You Bray and a 10 pick.
And like my man, Rick Wallace saying, like, why does Phoenix wanna do that? Like when you think about it, You know, um, superficially, like, why don't they want to do How does that benefit them? But But if you think about what it is that follows, um, those rumors, how they're you know, how they feel like a Chris Paul gets them to the conference finals or, ah, friend and lead, you know, helps take the load off of Devin Booker.
Um, it makes sense.
You know, it makes sense for Phoenix if that if that's their plan now, in terms of basketball, um, philosophy.
I don't know if that works, but I can tell them not to do it.
And so in that room is coming from them.
They feel like it'll work more power to him.
They just like they felt Cam Johnson was early lottery pick.
I mean, not early lottery pick, but they felt like Kim Johnson was a lottery pick when he was drafted, and we were like, What the hell are they doing? They trapped in the camp bridges.
But you know what? They went Rubio, Booker Bridges Cam Johnson.
DeAndre eaten that start line up with 18 on the bubble.
So they feel like they have a grasp on what it is that they want to dio.
So if they're saying going after Chris, Paul or Fred vanvleet makes them even better Hey, man, who are we to doubt them when you know, when you some of those deals where they believed in themselves and they showed improvement, right? All right.
The other team, other team.
I feel like it is in a catbird seat right as the Washington Wizards.
So you were like the Washington Wizards? Come on, Uncle.
Freeze E. That makes no sense.
That makes no sense.
And you're right, too.
So Art said, Well, state he was talking a big game like he was gonna going to join in.
I Listen, man, I heard I'm telling you.
I heard that for like, how long we've been at this.
Who knows how long we've been at this? Yeah, I think I'm trying e trying to join my bombs Web browser.
Don't want thio work, so I'm download the new one. Okay.
Hey, what we have freaky for B.
Um, probably be here after he finished handling his business.
You know, I'm saying, but state, we've been at this man for like a week.
We're like state.
You like uncle Freezing? Come on, man.
You know I'm like, dog, get your weight up and you're like, you stop talking trash to me like that, uncle Crazy and like dog my dog.
Hey, listen, man, when it comes to talking trash and it's harmless, I have carte blanche to talk trash toe all my dogs.
You know what I'm saying? If you all the homies I feel like I got a carte blanche to talk trash, y'all y'all talk trash to me.
You know what I'm saying? I mean, they can't just be all it can't be funny with all the jokes appointing the uncle freezing.
Some of y'all gotta have sense of humor, too.
Trust me, I take advantage of that.
So anyway, the Washington Wizards A So what I want Toe de monster wizard is what I want I want to talk to you about.
So, um, I mentioned it to one of my co workers, and he laughed he laughed at me for like, eight hours straight.
He was like, how long you think the Washington Wizards are are in the catbird? See, um, here's why.
And this is what I told them to.
I was like, Yo, look who is in the building.
South is in the building, Ladies and gentlemen.
Oh, my goodness.
Oh, like like, uh, that Let him sit on the color purple.
Oh, my Lord, the dead has arisen.
Hey, South eso this how we're big dog.
And you got a button, like, right under your chat that says, um, co host Click on that co host button.
If you would jump in and it'll it'll bring me with the with the invite and then, you know, and that that's for everybody you know, is if you want to jump in and co host if I know you, if I know who you are and all that stuff and I know you you good.
Not not just good people, but I'm talking about good for the You know what I'm saying? Good for for the show, then.
You know, I'll go ahead and bring you on you know it ain't nothing to it.
Ain't nothing to it but to do it.
Hey, my man, Say trash takes soon. Come.
Hey, you know what? Okay.
So he said he just clicked it.
I don't see it yet.
When assumes that pop up, man, I click on it.
You're gonna start.
Hey, wait a minute.
Are you gonna start hating the content or you're gonna start being a hater? There's a there's a difference.
Like hate me content is one thing.
If you hate your content movie, it's just not for you.
But if it's just like being a hater Hey, man, you can't start being something you already on to me.
I feel like like there's a born haters.
Er you know what I mean.
So let me see a salad, but I don't see that man.
Can you do it again? Let me see and see.
Hey, gonna make it corny.
How you gonna make it? Corny, man? I mean, I'm going wrong.
I mean, you know what? I let south defend yourself.
I let I let South defend itself When the when the thing come when the When The things show up.
You sure you clicked it on the right thing, man, You sure? All right, so I'm gonna look for it, man, I hope this stuff you know what? No.
I'm gonna do that ain't gonna risk.
I ain't gonna risk the stream.
Just just I don't see it.
Are you following me? Have you? Are you following at at Free Z? Okay.
Hey, now, click on Click on the the The Invite Thing again, and that should do it.
Now, how do you want you to come on south? I'm not doing.
I got like, I got like, 52 tweets telling you to come on.
So So But I'm anyway.
Anyway, the while south.
Figure that out.
I'm gonna get back to this Wizards thing.
I think the Wizards are in a decent spot, organizationally.
Unfortunately, the injury to John Wall set them back.
Right? Um, John Wall comes back healthy.
They have one of the best backcourts in the MBA.
They have what they have, at the very least, at the very least, a top 10 backcourt of John Wall and Bradley Bill at the very least right.
One could argue.
It will be, um, time when both are in your prime.
You know what I mean? They have a young guy, okay? They have a young guy in Rui had tomorrow.
And they at number nine, Right? When the Washington Wizards were good under Scott Brooks, they had Otto Porter.
Um, Marky marks one of the marks wins when a one.
Um, they had one of Mark's wins, and they had Kelly you bring you bring a, um I don't call the junior and, um Marcus twins when one of the one of the Morris wins.
Um, I think they could get a player like that in this draft with either a Devon vessel or Isaac or Koro.
And if they go out and go get another guy, maybe when the marsh wings, who knows? Maybe products are record enjoyment, makes a return.
Um, Then get that guy.
I think they get right back into being relevant in the in the east.
I think John Wall coming back makes them more relevant in the east.
Um, there are teams in the East.
I don't even have all star level point guard play and John Wall is that when healthy and I know you all are going to say, Well, then he tear a knee and Achilles Um, yeah, yeah, but he was back on the court already, Um, and probably.
And I think it was that he could have played in the bubble if they if they wanted him to.
Um eso you know, he'll be ready when the season starts and whatever.
Three or four months.
So you know, South, where you at, man? Let me try.
I'm gonna try this thing, um, to get my man south and south.
I'm on Lee doing this because of you.
So this string, if this string fail, you will be something excuse.
Let me see if I could get something here.
So did you get that? Did you get the invite from me? Okay.
Really? Yeah, yeah.
Old men and technology is something dog.
Is something all right? Just kidding.
I'm not calling me. I'm not calling no bromance.
What's up? So freezing? How you man suck man e have to come get your ass.
It's was talking ****.
What? I said let me download the new new Web browser in my lifetime.
That work thing.
So finally, e family s So let me let me dio Yo, everybody.
Um yo, this is my man State of the New York Knicks from mixed Twitter from mixed universe.
Yo, my man got Carmelo Anthony wanting to take a photo.
You know what I'm saying? Boy stops doing stocks.
Uh, e got a Okay, so let me wrap up this with anything, and I want you to jump straight in on this thing about I'm gonna let you I'm gonna let you preface it.
But eso the thing, just finishing up with the wizards.
Um, if Wall comes back healthy, another season with him, him and deal in the backcourt.
Um, really hot Tamara.
Um, but they get a Devin vessel with the number nine pick.
I think they're right back in the conversation.
So Yo, you know what? You know what's scary about the NBA next season? Because I was thinking about it like everybody come back healthy and Then you gotta think of other teams going who you trade for.
That's gonna help you, honest.
Got John all coming back healthy.
You got the sons.
You know, the Hornets about the third pick, Maybe they get a little better.
Um, it's only really it's tough, man.
So if I'm the Knicks is true things I'm looking at right now.
You see that? I'm looking at trying to improve the team directly, and that's like trading for Chris, Paul or song, even though I don't want to trade.
So I hate that god**** trade or you help everybody around them at eso trained.
So what? You need it Because So here's the thing. Here's the thing.
Were trained for Chris Paul.
It impacts you on ah, lot of different fronts.
First of all, in the impacts you on the floor directly.
So if you have a point guard of the future, he's not gonna play in front of Chris Paul.
Chris Paul not coming off the bench.
Secondly, depends on the amount of resource that you have to spend to get Chris Paul like, who do you trading? What pics with players? Are you trading and and and on top of that, as soon as you get Chris Paul, you are the man.
Cross Yonas off your rich list for 2021 right? Not saying that.
Running E It's not necessarily because I believe Johannes Max had 35 million and Chris Paul will make it about, like, 41 or 44 million.
Thing with me about Chris Paul.
That everybody, like argues with me about it is, is alright, we get Chris Paul, but this is the same with this, the same **** I've been saying for the past 20 years like we will trade for a guy with the hopes that he helps us get to the playoffs.
And then when we lined up in the lottery the very next offseason, we blame that guy Thomas.
His legacy or his is basketball skills way say, now he's trash because he didn't help us.
And when I see Chris Paul, it's like, Alright, Hall of Famer.
First of all, they want not spring in the first round pick.
I am against that.
That is ridiculous to me.
It's no way the Knicks you help out, okay? See Bob letting them not pay.
And then on top of that, we're giving them to young prospects and a first round pick.
Can you slice off to the young prospects for me like I don't care if we just give up knocks like All right, send knock school bag of cookies like I'm not gonna get mad at that.
But you cannot send, not stand frank like that.
It just does not rock with me.
And then another thing about Chris Paul, next year's draft is so deep, it's like You gotta do it.
But then I don't want to do it because R.
Barrett still hasn't shown me.
So if r J hasn't shown me, he's the guy Mitch hasn't shown me.
He's the guy Kevin Knox game show hasn't shown me. He's the guy.
Why are we so interested in this whole little Chris Paul thing when we need talent overall, how are we gonna get that town? We're gonna have to play them kids and hope to God that we get into the lottery one more time? I feel like next year's lottery the amount of wings that's in that lottery, it's No, it would be malpractice for the Knicks.
Not even to try to entertain, not getting in next year's lottery.
And then it'll be malpractice for me if the next on trade don't help trades where every team around the Mavericks to help every team around the Mavericks get better so that the Mavericks become worse so that their pick becomes more valuable.
So, let's say next offseason, uh, Maverick Scott, the 14th pick, the next guy, the fourth pick, and Devin Booker asked for a trade.
Phoenix is taking that trade that they taking that trade.
They take that trade with R J.
That they take that radio.
What, baby? How you doing? Your radio We owe Okay, let me let me do this right quick.
And and And this is what I do for everybody, man.
So I don't think I'm putting nobody off.
But I gotta introduce everybody that come on for everybody that that that follow us on sports cats.
And you don't know what we all been chopping it up every day on Twitter.
So so for everybody in the SportsCastr universe, y'all this my man south, you know, in the building, Frank, Stand number one Children Hey, sounds tell anybody.
What's up, man? What's going on, Y'all? I'm glad to be here, man.
Like I said, freeze.
He's doing a great thing for Twitter for Knicks fans, you know, in our threat, which is the best threat in the world, even though, you know, talk about that later, You know for sure for sure.
And yeah, you say that we say it's the best thread for one.
You know what I'm saying? Trying to shut ourselves out Because we do need to share because there's some sharp cats in the thread, man cat stoppers held on.
And even though we don't always agree, you know, you can **** sure bet they can't gonna be smart.
Like they just gonna do some.
You know what I'm saying? Some of random put them on random stuff out there.
You know what I'm saying? Knicks fans.
Probably the smartest fan base in the country.
You know what I'm saying? Uh, yeah, man, but, um e want to shout out my man south.
Um, um hey, stay again.
Your point, though, man.
You know, man, Dennis just called yourself.
I was just explaining how the Chris Paul trade is just It's too scary for me, man.
It's too scary for me.
Imagine if Chris Paul comes here.
He get hurt on the first day.
Antonio mcd ice.
Um, imagine Chris Paul comes here and he doesn't produce the same way as as he did.
Okay, See, Maurice Cheeks.
So its offer me Thio, try toe grip This notion that he's gonna come here and save us like that's the notion we have a random and Randall his ass.
So this'll whole Chris Paul thing, But I can't understand that.
I'm not gonna be oblivious to it, But I'm good.
I'm good if I'm tips.
Well, the hell it says Frank Miller, Keen and DS J need to show up.
I'm simply captain for both of them.
They both on in the year for enough of the college calling enough of the baby in enough of the frank with the six point bull**** I need at least not from him next to me at least.
And I'm being generous because But they're fully averaged 11 his fourth year.
I believe somebody fat check me real quick, but I need at least nine and no more fashion shoots.
So we Oh, no, no, you can't Florence.
If you are five points in the league, it's no forcing for you.
It's it's only time to get better.
But I digress because how much better you're gonna get under David Fizdale? But people in the threat think that coaching and development don't matter.
They think you just roll the ball on the court and kids get better.
But what do I know? Yeah, it was reported that part of that got to do with Start with watching stars.
You know, I'm saying you could roll the ball out there when you got a big three on the floor because those dudes have high basketball I Q and whatever.
They can't whatever.
They can't overcome what they bring.
They do when athleticism.
You know what I'm saying.
But when you have parts like like what we have like nuts, Knox is not the smartest smarter.
There's that product, you know, I'm saying, and we have Frank.
Frank is not the smartest, and I'm not saying these are not smart.
E cannot disappear real quick.
Frank has one of the highest I Q. Was on the team.
Let's let let let me just clear. Go ahead.
You can't have that I Q and be second on the team in blocks, but go ahead.
But that's not That's not my point, though.
What I'm saying is, what I mean highest.
I'm talking about highest in the n B A.
Not just on the team, Like thinking my grandmother.
Frank is not Steph Curry level of basketball I Q yet because you just don't have enough experience.
My point is my point is, when you're that young, you need a coach to supplement what it is that you can't figure out on your own.
You know? You know what I'm saying? So you gotta say, Okay walking, I'll put it this way.
Had bad coaching for you.
Way It's you, you you Yeah, in the building everybody e z e What's going on? E Yo, I got too long.
E give me for that.
I got this hood of you because I ain't got a cut and I ain't trying to broadcast my bad cut e this'll be looking like this.
My wife was like, You're gonna get on like that.
E was coming on at least you know, I did my own cut.
You know what I'm saying? They about to kill me, right? Already.
****, You're crazy.
I didn't want to get on.
But the only reason why I got on because today, you know, I mean, I'm still technically work by the US that **** that's And I was tired of all of the talking.
It is okay for me.
The person who knows the family show tithe.
Yea, tell boys, Stop mentioning 19 and nine before my head.
My brain fried man chicken here in that 1990 e o e o Julius Randle man like, I really hate to be the guy that's on Julius Randle.
But he's not that bad of a player.
I mean, the first thing he's not, man.
Look, the first thing you want any consistent type of winning organization is a player that gives you, like, basic play on on a good night.
And Julius Randle does that.
I mean, look, honey.
Oh, you're gonna kill on, and that's fine.
I'm pretty sure there's advanced numbers out there that proved that.
And this proved that on some level.
But ultimately 1989 with his athleticism this consistency and man plays with a motor.
He may not take the best shot two times and maybe a Port three point shooter and the turnover and the turnover thing is a problem.
I hate symbol, but he's walking 99.
He's going to give you effort.
Even on his worst defensive nights.
He still he still is not as bad as cancer, and he cares.
And also like those things you can't overlook with player.
In my opinion, yeah, my come back to that.
Is random kids a lot of effort on the offensive end? His defense is horrible.
Those turnovers, especially late in the game.
How many nights were watching the game? O E O E z e o.
His credit to his credit, Random won.
Some games did here for us, you could point to the Atlanta game and the Chicago phone.
Then, in the fourth quarter, he took the ball when he was like, No, I ain't going about nobody or something.
Just take over and you got us back and especially, um, in the Chicago game.
Not the not the port into Chicago game, but the woman I think it was.
Maybe January I think it may have been.
Um no, no, not that one.
Not not the one in the garden.
I'm talking about the oh e Chicago Frank, Kobe White and continue.
Yeah, You get the frank in a minute, man, because that's another one man killing me killing me, man E.
Before we get the Frank, I would just say Gamble.
Julius Randle, 19 and nine, about cancer is gonna give you that.
And everyone knows I'm not a big cancer guy.
There's something to speak for. Julius Randle.
I mean, Julie ran his motor, and, uh, he's the game like, yes, if he misses a defensive play in pick and roll.
Or maybe he gets beat off the back door not to really get brownie points, but not lazy about it.
And a lot of times, it's an awareness thing.
It's not an effort thing.
It's not like he's looking at the guy off the off the corner running back door and he's like, You know what? I'm just going to stand here and think like the help that I was gonna get it most of the time.
He's not doing it, but you're still on to some extent and a lot of other times he's not singing it.
He's not in a position to react fast enough.
If he does those air teaching things, you can address that with coaching.
You're not really gonna see me kill someone for that.
I mean, and his cancer would literally drop off his man 30 ft and take your role just because he knows he has little hope and a prayer sticking with anyone, The roll man Or or I'm saying the booth into the paint.
That's automatic bridge every time.
I don't see that with you out there, miss this hustle plays.
Question. Hey, J, I got question.
If you could completely Randall.
So one old school player from the two thousands, Who would you condemn? 2000? Because I mean yeah, from the two from 4010.
If you want more school player, Yeah, you.
He doesn't play with a super high motor.
I do like I've always liked to Carlos Boozer confident releasing tip system because he has a lot of Carlos growing strength.
I think he's more athletic than Boozer.
I think booze is a better, athletic, better offensive player all around I mean, I think that's probably it depends on where you put him.
That's the thing I like about random.
He, in a way, a little more of an athlete than a basketball player.
So he's not necessarily pigeonholed into a style of play.
You give them solid coaching and you tell him what to do, He goes out.
You have been watching the kidneys.
Kentucky, it's not like of the people on the team shall not be named where you tell him what to do when he gets on.
The court is looking around like what's going on here? The guy on defense, especially, is mostly for me and awareness.
Thing. I don't see Randall dogging it on place.
I don't see him jogging up the court offense like if anything, you need.
Probably a stronger leader in the locker room that could kind of make random caliber to him because, like I told you, 1000 present, like Randy was not gonna do further RJ because he's RJ like Randall.
Don't respect any of those kids.
You know what I'm saying? Like you need to bring someone in that locker room that maybe he's gonna pull his respect so he can kind of get more in line with the kids tips.
Maybe that person you wanna go to Chris Paul Route you might get that, too.
But ultimately, I don't think that bad people say is you know, a J.
Let's cut to the chase, man.
It's Fizdale e o which his man Perry put him in the worst position by by paying him to be the number one dude when he's not a number one, he's a number four because it's probably a barely never manager entity e o his hand and saying he Oh, that's what all the race? Because that put him in a position that he was not ready for you not suited for.
And again, we gotta go back to the elephant in the room, which is Fizdale.
David Fizdale screwed the next for 1.5.
Everybody wanted I wouldn't say.
I wouldn't say he screwed them like e like fit is man.
You know he's not like I said.
I don't think he's a bad coach.
I just think he didn't know the dog and e no, But see, here's the thing, though.
If let's say fizz was indeed a used car sales, Right? At some point, you gotta look at the front.
Opens like ****, bro.
You can't figure that out.
And I love Steve Mills.
Don't get me wrong, but Steve Mills is a New Yorker.
He's been here, so he should be able to be in the meeting room like you're not do full of.
You know what I'm saying, Perry? Whatever.
But you know Steve Mills? No.
We know what it looks like.
He's lived it, you know? I mean, so at some point, I gotta think to myself like I like if he's that bad of a coach in front office.
Should have known during the interviewing process based on who they interview, you know, I mean, like, in comparison and then the outcome, you know, But also me.
I I don't put all the on He didn't know what he was.
The man had Coach Weston, like, 300 days before he got here like that.
Not this dude like he doesn't necessarily know what he doesn't know, but we know why.
He was high in a J.
It was because of the height.
It was anticipation of getting K d and co.
Maybe not concrete, but we know that we know that now we know that now way.
But you know what? That all the stars would like.
Wanna come play for E? Well, that's true.
Hey, just got along with brawn and in the way like I never really went in next land.
They think that translator Oh yeah, I've never really like coached in Miami.
I think he was really mostly with Chris Boston, but the forward's But I remember, like, you know, he was a good coach, a players coach.
In that respect, I don't think he was this great recruiter.
I mean, I've never really heard any player outside of weight or bronze really even mentioned this e being honest with you like so And And the thing about it is anybody in the street sense mom game, recognize game, right? So they don't like a game when fills their walk in a room talking that noise, talking about you gonna turn last time.
But in the dream I green, we just get along E even if you have the vision for Lance's dream on green. Okay, fine.
The thing that really got fizzed with everyone is the execution of it like if you want to use him as a Draymond green, he just runs the floor boards and it's the occasional open. Pretty cool.
But you can't put Lance in a situation where the ball has to go through him on offense.
Everyone knows that's not his game.
E like the actions and the words got a match up.
And I think that ultimately that didn't happen.
And there's a lot that goes into that The team wasn't great day.
They have not know what he was doing.
I mean, who knows the front office meddling, you know? But it is more than just like just saying like, Oh, Fizdale came in and ruined If he was already bad got that's why he got you know what I'm saying? Because that with that whole list thing, you should never put the ball in last time, zio because that a free last time turned three into a long two point of a He was a master stepping out of bounds.
Nobody should ever put the ball in Linda Thomason, right? Right.
Why is nobody talking about the bigger elephant and why C e mails and Scott Perry not being mentioned.
Scott Carroll forwards and lied to James Dolan and said he was going to make the playoffs with Taj Gibson and Julius Randle.
And who are you to do that? How do you do that? Teoh.
Kevin Knox? You tell me if Fizdale wanted to put Kevin knocks at shooting guard.
Somebody tell me that.
You tell me if it is down who was already two and a you tell me if he really did not want to set his own rotation, you tell me if he did not want to sit down random When Randall doesn't dumb ass spend, move e that. Stop that.
Females sign all of those doors and things that had little input and told things that would make it work.
E agree with Make it work part.
I don't necessarily think they were telling him who to play.
I also don't think that e e don't think e personally, I could be wrong.
I personally do not think the front office was telling fitters who play.
I think if they were telling him who to play, a lot of guys would not have played and other guys would have played s e.
Yeah, like I don't necessarily buy that.
I think the problem with it is ultimately, it just came down.
Toe execution, man.
A za players coach of a personal person.
But, I mean, if you're gonna be that type of a leader just important, it's gotta be the ones that keep people in line.
Like you gotta have a real hard ass of supporting the coach or assistant culture on your bench.
Someone that could crack the whip for you.
I don't think we had that.
I think we did have good assistance.
I just think you have the wrong lead assistant.
And when you have a bad lead assistant, when inexperience, head coach, a bad roster, not doing much in the MBA, especially when that bad roster is superstars, which we currently e o thing is is ah, hot level assistant coach because he's the dude.
Call up your fist.
You need to bring the chicks to the room.
Fist, Go pick up the package.
I got you business friend to the players.
Yeah, you know anything about X's and O's? I watched this dude live.
I went to the games and I watched it and I was looking at because I'm like, Alright, everybody know me as a fish hater.
Let me watch him.
This'll Dude was lost on the sideline.
He was just whatever.
I don't I don't disagree with that.
I don't disagree with that.
I just think that again, if he's gonna be that way, is like I just said that you can't put everything on fizz, man.
Like, just like you can't put everything like there's a there's a shared workload **** ups that has got what I'm saying.
It's gonna hire an experienced coach.
Okay, The biggest.
I mean, listen, that's it's a Perry came here.
I came here with higher, huh? What I'm saying? It's just that when he gets here, it's his first time, bro.
It's his first time being a GM.
Like he came from sac into the drive as the PP.
And then he came over and he was the guy.
So it's not like, you know, dealing with people that come in with both experience and **** like this.
Dude, I don't know.
Like I I don't love them MPD thing.
MPPJ thinking because you're like what? Can you do it? We've been bad for a very long time.
Just keep a J o E.
When you get a first time head coach and you give him the least amount of developments.
Who staff in the league? What is that? Calling my friends malpractice.
James Dolan has deep pockets.
We all roses, Frank Agent.
Seen the dysfunction on the inside.
He seemed what we didn't see.
So obviously he made me James Dolan take out his checkbook and get these dudes.
Can he pain Mike Woodson and these dudes.
So that's an indictment on Scott Perry.
I know dudes love Scott very because he drafted Mitchell Robinson.
They could give a ****.
I could give it in.
Scott Perry, I think this is for the Frank because I'm not really break up, but this man constantly trying to bury Frank I'm sorry.
E am sorry, fellas.
Trey Burke is a third string point dog.
Moody is a third string point.
You know why Kirk Snyder has an MBA job? NBA coach job? Fizdale doesn't because Snyder place Moody as his third string point guard where he belongs.
He should not be your starting point guard.
And then this equals to Kevin Knox.
Because you played Kevin Knocks with a tank commander.
What product was with another guy? Reclamation project.
So, Kevin Knox, advanced numbers look bad this first season.
Then you bring them this year.
No, I'm gonna go get Alfred Peyton, knowing that r J.
Barrett is not really a shooter.
And I'm a stick him in the back in the backcourt with a guy who cannot shoot the save his life, who hunts for sense, this man past the random 29% of the time.
And then after move Illustrated, he passes the random 40% of the time.
So we're watching Alfred, Peyton and random 100 pick and rolls to go nowhere.
It does not help nobody.
Scott Perry gets 60% of the blame.
I'm giving them 60.
Important thing is he was no Okay.
I'm giving him blame.
He gets the most points until he's going.
E let me jump in.
When everybody was talking about dogs when Randall was going around, had the vote of the videos with slave change doing pull ups and who said he was a All star whenever from the next PR was B S J.
Duncan and **** like that, I said from the jump, Perry put together a clumsy roster.
All I heard was a little dogs and all the dogs, and we're gonna keep kids.
We got ran through that.
I said, that is a clumsy So to be fair, the fist.
And, you know, I'm not fearing him.
What the Oh, right, right.
At the end of the at the end of the day, when you get team president, the team president is telling you the direction that you want the team to go in.
Right? And that goes for Virginia.
Um, assistant GM cultures, coaching staff, training staff and players.
You know what I'm saying? So just to say Scott Perry took the reins and signed five power forwards, we know that's not, you know, that's not totally on Perry.
I think everybody is culpable in this situation.
You know what I'm saying? When first, the first thing you need to look at is is what happened with the with the Cajun.
Sit down. So you never even got vacating.
You can't blame that on Perry.
You know, I'm saying not. Not totally.
You know, I'm saying because you had others in the room that that gave confidence.
Like James Dolan.
James Dolan was in his bag on that interview midseason, talking about how free we just wanna come to New York and New York is the destination.
You know, I'm saying Dolan Dolan was like Dolan was like swaggy were like, rude.
Katie was coming, You know what I'm saying? And the other thing, too, Like you look at the press conference they had when they had after 10 games.
When they're 28 look at Perry's face when you're not there with Mills Perry like, I can't believe I'm out here.
I can't believe this dude is doing this, you know, I'm saying to Fizdale and then the thing with Fizdale the thing with Fizdale is this.
He started arguing Barry and Alonso tree in the back court when he had Frank Miller kuna Elfrid, Payton and D.
S J on the bench that should have been assigned to everybody that the point guard coming point guard situation coming out of training camp was unsettled.
You know, I'm saying, if you gotta if you start arguing Barry and Alonso trip, then you like, you know, we don't have more point guard.
I don't care what what? What the depth chart says, e.
First of all, I didn't want Perry.
I mean, our Fizdale student Mills one of his boy black, but the media pressure and the fan pressure, he couldn't have pulled that off.
It ain't one that would have killed his dude for hiring David Black, who would have been a month better coat for a young developing team than figure.
I don't even think maybe most Hinsdale fans can can dispute.
But Mills couldn't pull it off, so he left his basketball. Man.
All these moves are Perry moves.
I mean, how many you think that mill sat? They say, Yo, Scott, go sign everybody.
You ever didn't draft? Come on, man.
That makes no ****.
E o Mills is a businessman.
And when Millie was GM, he messed up so bad with Ron Baker and th you know, I mean, the Tim Hardaway that he was like, you know, I'm gonna give these dudes a pick just to get a basketball meaning.
What? I'm not saying Mills isn't culpable.
How yet? Mills is cultural.
He's part of the problem, right? Thio power to make things happen, and Perry moves where Perry moves.
Perry loves athletic Low I Q.
Um, A little basketball.
I want you jumping out my throat about that healthy pretty much dude he doesn't get, You know, I mean skillful, unselfish players in the building.
He just wants these Piper Athletic meathead dudes and say, You go out there of the basketball is yours.
And that's not e going because e one freeze.
We said earlier about doing like the fact that Dolan intervene or smart enough to intervene with Katie signing.
That's why we didn't get a meeting like Dolan told the front office.
I still sign him, but he got to sign a waiver because when he came on the wave of the man with Marty, he got hit with a five year Supermax, forgot that played 2.
5 season for us that he had to buy out in the last year.
So I don't fault going like that, Miss, take you know, I'm saying, like I appreciate him.
Like saying like No, like, sound like I don't care if he is.
Katie had him sign the waiver, but South on the roster construction, fist deals, first season here, the Ross was off.
Clearly, the record reflects that I'm in the minority.
I don't think the roster is as bad as it is built.
I think the issue is more of how it was used.
You know, if you use the pieces correctly, Bobby Portis is off the bench as a spacer.
That word Julius Random, needs to share the floor with someone who's gonna not dominate the ball as much as him.
But you can share the ball with that works.
Mr Robinson, until we even stopped fouling, comes off the bench defensive anchor you from energy blocks that works.
So this roster, at least compared to last year, next rocker is better.
I think we came there to it.
Waas the execution of how we were doing things with a younger, very younger team, and then most of the kids, especially everyone's favorite Frenchman, you know, not really living up to their pipe that way.
Chou Frank keeping some love So your friends in love e how does he Oh, I'm coming in here like we owe.
All I'm saying is that I just wanted I just wanted to go on that point and then we could move in the frame.
The thinness state.
He put together a team and I said it from the jump.
You cannot have a team full of vets that expect to play if you had two or more Taj Gibson's on the team, maybe another.
You know, I mean, pull up on the team.
It would have been fine.
You would have had best that would have supported the kids so that you could roll out the kids in defined roles, which again doesn't know what to do.
You would have had a better result.
We would have solved more development, probably would have saw more wins, and we would have a clearer understanding of our future.
But what did he do? He put Invest moved.
First of all, moved is trying to put up number so he could get on a championship e playing the best point off.
E don't even know like 10 years minimum.
Y'all can't be hate on that man and he's out here bawling like, literally stop.
You re first e 1st, 17 20 games.
So it's not like you know what I'm saying? He was here from jump.
He lost because the job and camp, you know, the man got hurt.
We have to play with these other kids that were unnecessarily point guards.
You know, they didn't necessarily score like I don't look, I don't hate AP, Man.
E P may not be a starting point guard.
He's a pretty **** good point guard off the bench.
Yes, it is that there's been No, we've had anything remotely as well over Peyton has done this year.
When you have a point guard who's led five different teams straight into the lottery, you should know that's not a good point.
Hey, wasn't even a started last year for the most hurting.
I'm saying he was coming in the video, which he lost 90% of the guesses what he had to Yes, $5.
So a j You gonna start this cap right now? I'm Glad way.
Hey, Let five straight teams into the lottery.
And ST and Scott Perry, Brooke Castillo lead us straight into the lottery.
You're talking about MOOCs giving us meaningless wins.
Now we over here debating Devin vessel O'Carroll loose Are you telling me about? Come on, agent.
It's just what I always tell people.
This is about Always tell you guys when you bring this out if Alva pain is bad or was his bad as everyone and Nick Landy a thinks or says he is, why did he start for us? Because five of the guards on getting that kind of feel the spot we had five of them e l forgot the starting job.
So something's not adding up.
Were either that bad e o play well for us, right? Or the kids that we have of the people that were brought in to compete with this bum much worse than the bum, like I don't understand around on, you know, only offer paying what? I've got $8 million bill from the next.
So let's stop that.
Oh, you know that.
So So what? I would tell me what? Who else he would have started for, I don't know, started for but what I could tell you.
Hold on, hold on.
And this is coming from As as Rick calls in the mouth of the mouthpiece of MSG, Mark Berman said in his tweeted lvpd signed with us on the 80 bubble, the night off free agency because of Scott Perry.
Elvir Peyton had three of the deals on the table that he could have taken where he would have been on quote unquote better teams.
Wow, way have on the train.
He could have been coming down with five minutes.
He's still better than every guard point guard we have on the team.
So what? Does that stay with me? Oh, point guards.
Any good or not? Oh, and Peyton is this bad and starting right If he's this bad is starting.
You gotta You gotta say the guards behind himself.
It can't be both.
He can't be bad.
It just can't be better than you.
What? What did l E o back 10 years? What we're going to say about actually think of has been a lot.
I actually think I overdid a lot.
One of the things and this is where I will give my God loved one of things.
I think we did a lot in terms off is Frank before Frank.
Before Frank, like stop before Frank was actually like Vernon Alford.
He played slower.
He was less decisive.
We all know that.
I don't think Alfred Alfred made, uh, Frank a better player, but I think he was able to show Frank like I've always wanted.
Sometimes these kids, you gotta have someone in there who can show them with the coaches asked him.
Okay, Fizdale could go toe Frank and say, Listen on this inbound play, come off the screen.
Harvey Cup, Whatever.
Kick out for the shot.
Frank is processing the information, but when Frank gets on the court, he's not seeing that play like Fizdale exceeding to play Elfrid Payton is seen to play like physics, seem to play.
So when she gets on the court, he's gonna run it a lot better, and that's gonna give Frank something. Work off.
Okay, this is how he wants to to run that play.
When Finn just saying Frank, play with some pep in your step, pick up the page.
It's not snowing. You, too, run down the court hard.
He's telling you, Listen, play with energy. Overpaid.
He plays with energy.
When you When you watch Frank from last year to this year, you see your nose, who difference and how he plays.
He is modeling his energy, his paint behind what he sees.
Alfred Peyton does.
There's nothing wrong with having good vets.
Just gotta have the right good vets.
And I think Peyton is that he may not be a starter for you guys, but he's pares down the best point guard that mix of bad and God knows how long.
Hands down the best point guard on the team this year.
That's That's beyond debate, in my opinion.
Well, e coming from I just think he's wrong.
Frank looks different because Frank improved this handle in the offseason.
Frank had to improving this handle and so he could get more places on the floor with the ball because he improved this handle. I don't miss.
I don't know if you can attribute that to hell for Peyton and not, but at the same time, I wanna I wanna ask all this I want I want to ask about this.
So do you think Frank between, uh is the point guard of the future.
No, not Nick's E.
God bless my lover.
I think I think it's a good basketball player froth because Frank is a winning type player.
Yeah, that's why I'm at what insight? Guy? Good player, lovely kid.
Not not the point guard, the future with the dude who tells the story about how he survived Fizdale and Perry is.
And now we hoisted the championship.
I want him just for that aspect.
I wanted to be the oh tell that story when it's all said and done because he's a e o play e o better than Frank A 20 sick way.
But have we studied his growth for three years now? Yeah, that's true.
That's a fact that is true.
Killed me with the lack of aggression of taking at it big frame as a point guard and that the hell out of me.
So don't a open shot on a consistent level that annoy the hell out of me.
So when dude say yo, I don't criticize friend.
But I don't do that every day bashing like I don't see the good that he does, but he had holes in his game.
What do you had? A horrible staff help you fix those holes in his game? Horrible head coach.
That e still thinks about how you go out of his mind, come from overseas and then sit on that e.
He's been on the horrible situation, and the kid is still here.
So I'm rooting for the kid to do well to help us win and whatever wrote a defined role.
And that's what I give Miller his props for.
He gave first guard off the bench, gave him his minutes, and we saw Frank played better, that's all.
I asked for a defined in five minutes and let the kid play.
Frank's problem is this.
This is my Chuck Berry on Frank.
Not that I'm gonna go is faras Chuck the problem with the kid? At least with me.
I don't care that he's limited.
You're never Elvis play ball before.
You're never going to be the biggest, fastest, strongest guy on the court.
That's what makes basketball basketball.
You understand the game.
You understand how toe work within your skill set, you should be okay.
My problem with Frank is that since he's been in the MBA, I think there have been times where he is flash like there's a really decent playing.
They're a really good one at that.
And then there are other times It was just like, I don't know why I'm here and there's one thing to see that if he's consistently showing you something worth waiting on, and it's another thing to see that when he's not.
And I think that's where he is, at least with me, with a lot of other people.
Franken's like we support the kid or the rational people they support, and we support him.
But at some point, like fans like please give us some of the height.
Not even all the hype live up to some of the height.
If you could do that, you know, I'm saying we'll be in a good space.
You know what it is with me when it comes to, uh, Latina his first two years.
I love this defense, but I hated the fact he never took into the paint, and he's like 6566 So last year A. J.
You made a great point about watching out for paying and I'm thinking about it.
You actually is correctly about because he definitely needed somebody like that.
I mean, when you watch movie A for a season and see how bad of a point guard he is, you don't want to take a this bad habit.
So yeah, you kind of right about that.
So frank, his first two seasons I ordered wanted to trade Frank.
I wasn't loyal him because I'm like, Yo, dog, you don't take it to the paint like this is New York.
So last season he had a little zip in this game.
I've seen some new moves in and out dribble moves.
I seen him finally learned the double cross, as he, um I say them finally use his body.
Now what I need the next to do is put him in spots where I think he could flourish.
Put Frank in post up situations.
I want to see him post up more.
I want to see Frank and more Pick and rolls.
I believe it was Rick, Chuck.
It was one of your two who sent me a stat and deflated my notion of the other day that I was saying that Fizdale didn't run a lot of pick and rolls and I appreciate it.
But when my eyes seen from Fizdale and Mike from Fizdale Waas he did not run a lot of chicken rose.
I see afraid come across the quarter line and do a dribble handle.
And that is fact.
That is not a lot that's got the clothes like that.
That that's what First base me and a lot of other people your the point guard and at least I know where everyone might be over the country.
But we're from New York.
Okay? Jesus, fans were from New York.
We go to the courts as kids.
We played five or five pick up or whatever.
We know that point guard is running the show.
He could be dead wag.
Hey, Could be dead wagon have never ended.
Well, he was running the show.
Frank doesn't He doesn't command that his whole things like, Oh, you're gonna invite me the ball.
Let me go 36 ft and find the nearest open.
You're never gonna win like that. Yeah.
Hey, a j a j most My point.
So So appreciate you a j.
But, um uh, the whole concept of where A.
J just said, If you look at, we've had a bunch of point guards.
If you look at all of them play, they all play differently.
Movie was always trying to get a foot in the paint when he could.
He wasn't the best decision maker.
Burt runs the pick a role to death, pounds the ball.
You know what I'm saying? So you can't say it's the offense.
That's just Frank.
Frank is a ball mover.
That's the first thing he wants to do is run a set, get the ball out of his hands and what I'm saying.
So it's not each one of those point guards when they had their chance toe run, the, um, run the off, you know, be the floor general that did it differently because that's their style.
So you can't blame Frank running in the corner and sitting there, somebody putting them there.
That's where he wants to be.
You know, I'm saying, and the only other point I wanted to make the reason why I joined us because South says something about, um well, he always says that Perry loves low I Q players and to me.
I feel like what Perry has been trying to do since he got here is trying to hit a home run so he'd be pulling on reclamation projects that, you know, we're really hot on the draft when they came out and he's hoping that one of them pans out.
He tried with Moody, tried with Morio.
These are all guys that were high, high prospects.
That's what he's trying to do.
It's not like you don't think, Yeah, yeah, so it's not like, Oh, he's done.
Let me get him You know what I'm saying? Because these guys got some pedigree and he's trying to.
He's trying to see if he can flip, you know, hit a winning model number.
That's what he's trying to do.
What I'm saying, God chasing girls go at some point e.
I don't agree with that strategy because I feel like I I see what Denver is doing.
Then we just gets guys that can play hard.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but Perry Trott's Paris trying to do.
He's tryingto you know, those guys in the chat that feel like we just need to get a star and if we could get a star of the things you know, everything will trickle down after that.
That's what he's doing.
He's like, I'm gonna knock, Not compared to Bridges.
You know, *****es is probably the more the better.
You know, he's a single, he's the double, but it's not.
It's not hits, alright? Not if Mitch ****, he's Ah, Homer.
You know, I'm saying, if RJ hits, he's a home home, That's what that's what Perry is doing.
Not like you might not agree with the strategy, but that's just that's That's the way his mind.
That's the way his mind works.
E Like you said, I want singles and doubles, man.
Yeah, man, you're getting a E Z.
What single is out there like Name is singled me that that would be in free agency This off My personal, Uh, my, uh I brought him up today, To be honest with you, I've been thinking about it because I have enjoyed the last 67 years of what? Having long has been without J.
Smith in my locker room s o.
I don't miss a dysfunctional headlines that used to come out when we had a bunch of cycles on the team but I would actually I would actually look into Josh access.
You know, honestly, he's in a role in mentoring group.
You probably he'll get playing time, but they're not really going to push him in a sense, like make sure he's getting his minutes every night.
He's gonna cost you the league minimum.
You know, I'm saying most of the last year playing a G, so it's not like if you signed them and get to send the dance adopted up next, it will be some type of PR hit like Okay, you signed him knowing he was a project.
What I'm saying, So you send him that? If he he's another, here's another.
Here's another moodier memorial type I don't necessarily bring.
He's really give you solid three and d that actually going to become a star.
I just think that you still have star potential in him.
You think so? You athleticism handling.
He has all that in him.
But you know, he also gives his four year old read so right e like Christian e.
Everything like getting Christian would early, basically is what we're getting that like how Christian would is a player he was right now, and doing a Josh Jackson play would be like getting Christian getting a somebody in that same Christian would trials and tribulations thing.
You know, I'm saying, finally coming up and being productive is an Indian player except getting him a year earlier, anywhere younger.
So I would just say this to real quick.
What's the one thing I think for their folks? The one thing I think the front office didn't do very well.
Whatever system, whatever you wanna call it behind the scenes that they put in place toe help. Stuart.
These young men were teenagers or early something.
When they come into New York City, whatever situation they put in a place that help keep these guys out of trouble, to care into them, having they needed to.
I think that bodes well because it gives me a little more confidence and taking on someone like Josh because he's coming into an environment where he was already set. That precedent.
Like Mitch is a funny guy.
Now he's out spoken and everything.
Now, I don't think guys would have seen that or foresaw that when we saw Mitch give his introductory press conference but he did want to speak to the camera, you know, So we have some good things going on the player development side lifestyle standpoint I think Josh would benefit from.
And that's why I'm a little more keen on, at minimum, trying to see if I could get him and definitely getting them if I can.
I think he's another one of those guys.
But go into that.
I don't think we help KP on that front.
But the KP is difficult.
KP wasn't a knucklehead.
His brother Waas something like.
You can't control the parents.
You can only control the player.
I don't think you made a great point, though.
You made a great point, though.
I mean, everything is not.
I'm not one of them fans.
Then I don't do all that.
Everything is going along with.
It is just, Ah, plan has to be set and stuff, too.
We do not stick to plans.
We switch up the plan once Dolan his you know, the parts of the world or the chucks and them type of dude start yapping.
You gotta that those self you're part of that way.
1018 18 4018 19 season.
Whether you like fizz where you like you saw a direction, you're making project.
It was played the kids and then, you know, let them try to figure it out.
And then it's like year, one year flip the whole script, you get back.
Hey, played the kids.
If he played the kids, he should have played Frank last year.
So, Frank, Frank, you're not a can unless you were a year for once.
You go in here for.
That's when you not get cotton anymore.
So he was. Last year was a year three.
The dude got in the game.
He got 20 minutes of the game.
Is rookie year 20 minutes a game? A second year, 20 minutes.
In his third year, he's probably 20 minutes a game.
If he was lucky this year, he also dealt with me.
Oh, he's always injury.
He's always doing help.
E even gonna talk about things.
It's not even worth my e o e o real quick.
Hey, everybody on sports cancer.
If you like hearing, make sure you follow me and the other guys.
So every time we jump on will be alerted to the time that that that we're gonna jump on and what we're gonna talk about.
And if you find it, find the kindness in your heart to tip.
Go ahead and chip, uncle, things like tips.
You know what I'm saying? So let me introduce everybody.
So we got state of the of the media next.
My man, that's that's my brought on.
What we got with this war is in the building on guy.
No, I keep saying that wrong, but that's what I think when I see a dog. I'm sorry.
And we got south in the building.
I think, um um, a j just jumped off.
But listen, we're gonna we're gonna continue for for a few more minutes.
I wanted to talk to South, though, about, um, Frank's place.
And then the conversation keeps drifting back to the front office.
But I want to talk to him about Frankie Latina and his development on the court.
Everybody got a point about Frank Keating on the court before.
I don't think he's a point guard.
You just wanna keep pounding business a get to the ground.
He's not a yeah.
He was always a combo, just like my man.
I'm telling you, he's a combo.
All right, let's get that part out the way.
You know, point guard shooting.
So Okay, we're back.
With that in mind, you're going to the You go into the off season.
Are you trying to get two point guards or you feel like Frank's gonna hold one of the spots? I think he could hold the backup spot. Definitely.
Okay, so that means exactly a point guard.
I don't see why.
Like how Miller used him.
He can't be the first guard off the bench, just like Marcus.
Smart was used early on his self.
Why? He can't be the first guard off the bench.
You don't have to.
You have to make your case, man.
I'm just asking questions.
Okay, so you don't want me to make my case, But that's all right.
We're making clothes.
Can make a case.
I ask if you still think he's appointed.
If you feel like we should get if you should, you should get to.
Or just if you think you could hold the spot.
You said he could hold the spot.
I got nothing to say about that.
If you're talking, are you talking about drafting a point guard or acquire either one? Either you personally, I would I would think getting ah vet for security and then and then draft one, but some some No problem.
It's not really Don't have What do you do with Jay, but uh huh.
What are you getting out of here? Though D s J has a point about himself Granted your point about Frank first.
Okay, My name was Frank is if you get all right, just arguments, You get a CP three.
I think that, you know, excellent mentor for Frank, but I probably want a drafted point guard in that situation.
That's why I said, if we draft Kira, then I'm cool with CP three coming through the meant to him, like you said, because Frank unplugging anyway.
Now, if you don't bring in that better, you just draft, you know? I mean, a talented point guard, then.
Yes, I want Frank as as the backup, because at this point, no more kids stuff.
Frank is a veteran, Frank, No.
Delay the land and he's gonna come in in a defined role and and do exactly what the coach needs him to do.
And in that school.
Is that good? Rick, we go with that.
Hey, that's your opinion.
I don't I don't I like I told you, I want I want to New point guards.
I feel like the Frank point guard thing is dead.
But where would you play Franklin or you just want Yeah.
Yeah, I would have them.
I would have him as a like a swing player.
Like a secondary ball handler.
Um, just like a like a combo garden back up to or back up. Three.
Just getting where you fit in.
But the first guard off the bench, we can agree on that.
No, because if I If I have, if I have to confident point guards, I feel like the first guard off the bench is my point.
And then Frank would be the second one.
It depends on who else is coming off a short e have six points in his whole life, and I don't see it like that, man.
I see it that if this kid is given just a defined role, I'm not talking about no more starting on starting point or whatever, but I really think that, Frank, because you'll have to remember defensive impact.
When this dude gets into the game, he changes the tone off the game, especially defensive.
And we need that.
As you said, you just saw that in the final help.
Um, your boy vocal started Caruso just to play defense just to get in on just to get in on whether a project just to get in on these.
You gotta have that.
So I'm not trying to put him as the 11th man off the bench That z don't know.
Guys like Caruso you find off the street.
It was like, I'm just talking about with producer drafted.
No eso to me, those like those.
Like finishing touch people, which I feel like Frank is.
I feel like Frank is when you get when you get a contending Rosler and you need those type of players, but you can pick those guys up the thing I don't get what you guys is.
This whole thing like, Oh, we got We got Frank.
Now we gotta make sure we secure them for 67 years from now, when we're we're not there yet.
Worry about the big stuff.
What about the stuff we need to worry about? And we could always bring Frank back.
Those guys are available off the street, man.
Not necessarily because you can't e yeah, okay, unless they stay unless he's a unless he's your point.
That's when you watch when he has added value.
But as the if he's not.
If you're not sure you got your recorder, your backup point, there's gonna be a defensive socialist.
Those are those things you could just pick up off the street that z a.
I'm not saying that, right? He's all around player.
That could help the team.
Is he a star? No.
Is he a starter? Possibly.
But at least we know that this kid can come in.
He can run the point.
If necessary, he could be the secondary ball handler if necessary.
He's gonna d up the entire than perimeter and help out some of our weaker defenders that y'all dudes love because they put up empty way.
Have nobody to put up that way.
We have nobody that put up stats.
So 1990 I keep telling me in 1990 I tell me about Alfred, Uh, triple double.
You know, even even you.
Even in the trash, there's always somebody have to talk, man.
You know, Rick, you know what role Frank would be best served in.
Remember, Golden State? Think Golden State Warriors.
That's what I say to that's it. Perfect.
When did it? When did they acquire Gigi? They were poor.
They had their core established.
They were growing like if they were ready to continue.
And they found a guy like Iggy.
But what I'm saying you is Frank is 22 right? Alex Crusoe's 26.
So I don't see how if we're not in contention to to become this championship contender next season, I don't see how you can try to identify.
Your score is first when we are already identified, Frank, in a certain role that we could we don't need to worry about later, because obviously that role is needed.
If the Lakers had to start Alex Caruso, right? Okay.
Does that mean they needed more defensive versatility on the floor way? My problem with you and a lot of the other guys that speak about Frank is y'all put him in a box too much, you'll say.
632 He can't get no better.
I don't understand how you can get.
Don't try e Would.
Who've been running around e I'm It's not even worth it.
That's not even worth it. But state.
That's why that's why I say with Frank, unless he's your backup point.
Like South once, right? Mhm.
I don't I don't see the I don't see the value because a such as you guys are hyping up Caruso right now.
Right there's like a There's, like a high chance He might not even be on the team next year because you're replaceable.
E you replaceable e bet.
And I bet you any amount of money the Lakers being a black next season.
I bet you that, and I bet you because you can't replace chemistry, you could replace the player.
But you can't replace chemistry.
The Clippers lost because they had no defined roles.
Let let's be clear about that.
They had role players who felt like there was better than Paul George.
If you're trying to build a team, I prefer chemistry overall, so frightened.
