Well, well, you have to be ready.
What's going on? Playmate.
Welcome to the working wire podcast.
It's Wednesday, November 4, 2028.
Your coach, Big plate plate.
You can follow me at Twitter, Her on Twitter.
Rather that take place late.
The gentlemen, It's I left or right? Yeah.
Get private Kado toast assaulted.
So listen sing which used to a whole 30 big play beats.
What's going on, brother? I'm living it up, man.
It's a crazy week.
Um Insane week, Insane week A lot of important stuff going on out there, but we decided that we would put our show out of day late with that and then just give everybody a little breather.
We're not gonna get into that stuff.
So we're gonna give everybody a breather and talks in fantasy football.
No, Just like what Mike said exactly that.
You know, I hope everybody exercise their right to vote yesterday.
Like he said, we will not get into all that.
That's not what we're about.
We are about helping you win your fantasy football match up each and every week here on working the wire, as always, we will have Our s W w hashtag brought up here later in the show will also be around Sunday morning for any last minute fantasy football questions or need.
You may have Michael So it's been a crazy week, my friend.
Let's jump right into it.
Trade Deadline, Oddly enough, came and went quietly.
No real moves, no big blockbuster deals.
Everything was on the defensive side of the ball.
So nothing, nothing too crazy as far as a fantasy impacts concerned.
More of the theme this past, you know, the last couple days has been the injuries in the NFL again. Michael.
Yeah, again for like what? The fifth week this year? I mean out of out of nine or eight.
So it's It's been insane, my friend.
So, Mike, I'll start with you.
Ah, Couple of big names are out there.
We won't go through the list.
But who, in your opinion of that group that went out this week, has the biggest fantasy impact if they're out for the foreseeable future? Oh, George Kittle for me.
Uh, I have him in multiple leagues.
Loved him. This year.
He's I called Mr tight and advocate he's got, uh, he had national tight end, a going big time.
I love that little clip.
They showed him like he was the number one tight or number two tight end in PPR leagues in points per game.
He had already missed some so points per game that he played at 16.1.
Look, he's trying to tell people he's me back in a few weeks, Coach Shanahan confirmed.
It's an eight week injury.
He just kind of said it Zone eight weekender and I don't think you replace that at the tight end at this point in the season, Um, Jordan Reed did have a good game when he was out for the one game earlier, but Jordan reads not a guy you can really trust.
Injuries are a problem for him as well.
Um, he was a guy that you can roster, but you have to watch because he's coming off of the I r.
Swell, Um, so he's the guy at this point because it's not Tuesday night.
Wednesday you could set of wasting your waiver wire priority, you know, pick him up. Watch that guy.
Another guy I'm gonna give you a rare cowboy alert here.
He's only roster in 25%.
He had eight targets for six.
Reception. 53 yards.
So I I see the Cowboys trailing again.
Eso he'll likely see some targets on the stretch.
He's a guy you could pick up if you're desperate as well.
Yeah, no, I agree with everything you just said there and Mike for me.
The guy that that I guess, jumped off the page outside of George Kittel.
And probably Jimmy Garoppolo is Kenny Golladay receive for the Detroit Lions.
He's already missed two weeks the season missed the first two weeks with a hamstring injury he brought with him from camp, hurt his hip this week against the Colts, so they he's definitely not playing this Sunday.
They're not sure exactly how much time he's gonna missus.
We all know hips and changing direction for receivers is one of those things were you know, it's kind of a week to week deal, and the bad part here is Mike.
I would tell the playmakers to pick up Marvin Jones right in any other normal week, but this is a little foreshadowing.
The Lions just put mass effort on the Cove. It 19 list.
So that's gonna leave Chase Daniel or David Blough to play for the Lions.
Blau played a little bit for Lions last year, so it's not like they're totally unfamiliar with the guy.
But he had a couple of decent weeks, but decent, right? He's he's he's not Matt Stafford.
So But Mike, we just mentioned we just mentioned Cove in 19.
It struck again this week.
My friend, um, like I said, Matt Stafford placed on the list along with four Niners ahead of their game of the Packers tomorrow night and then a few Ravens as well.
Mike, I'm gonna ask it again, and I ask it every time we talk about Kobe in the NFL, is this the beginning of the end? Should we be concerned? What's there to pay attention to? Because it seems like every week the number just keeps getting bigger and more and more teams get added to this list.
You know, like I'm just gonna try to keep being optimistic, but I'll be honest.
I'm starting to feel like that guy in the meme where he's just sitting at the table, and he's saying he's fine.
Everything through the kitchen is on fire.
So I'm trying to stay optimistic.
So that's that's what I think the playmakers should visualize of me right now if they're listening on the audio only podcast.
But, um, look, the NFL waste way too much money for them to shut it down completely.
Eso I just don't see it happening.
Um, I wouldn't be surprised if at some point we start to see less, less or no fans in the stands at some point and maybe a week or two offer at the worst.
The entirely shuts down for, like, a week or two.
But I don't think this season is gonna end.
I know there was a report this week about maybe shortening the season or having this season stopping just immediately go to a playoff, you know, kind of like the NHL did.
So, um, e guess we'll see what happens.
Mike, I'm not I'm not leaning one way or another assed faras completing the season.
But man is if this gets any worse and we're seeing it more and more states, we're seeing it more and more locker rooms, more and more team facilities shutting down.
So it's it's going to get worse before it gets better.
And I just hope it doesn't get so bad to the point where the season's over with so But Mike, speaking of guys that aren't bad at all, let's talk a little bit about a couple of rookie quarterbacks that air. Lighten it up.
The race for offensive rookie of the year is heating up between Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and Bengals quarterback Joey Borough.
Mike, I'm gonna ask you a two part question here and feel feel.
Take one or both questions here, UH, one Who would you want is the future of your franchise and then two.
If you're in a dynasty league, which one of these two guys would you rather have? Oh, wow.
So future of my friends, my franchise in a dynasty like so you're talking about actually owner on the like in real life.
If the Bengals, if the Bengals or the Chargers air Well, let's say let's say Baker Mayfield retired tomorrow.
Which one of these two guys would you rather have? Okay, um so the way I'm looking at this is I'm gonna give you Cuba and Q B B and you give me a little on.
Then I'll answer and I'll see what you can guess.
Q B A is averaging 23.
6 fantasy points per game on the season they've thrown.
They've had 221 completions on 330 attempts.
2272 yards, 11 touchdowns and five i N t s.
And they added 130 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Then Q b b has 29.
5 fantasy points per game.
153 completions on 227 attempts, 1820 yards, 15 touchdowns for only five i antes as well.
And then this one has 142 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
What's really interesting about both of these guys? They use their legs Well, um, e would say use their legs effectively.
They run when they need to, and they don't run haphazardly either.
No, they Joe Burrow learned early, right? He was put his body on the line and he realized, This is the NFL.
I can't do this weekend we go, especially with how bad his offensive line is.
Um, for me, if I'm the owner of a franchise, I'm going Joe Burrow.
I think he's doing I don't want to say he's doing Mawr with less, but he is I think he is doing.
He is making it very competitive team with a lot less in front of him.
He is third string offensive lineman.
He is just really in a bad spot.
There s o, I think him as my franchise.
Little spoiler for everybody.
Q b A was borough Q B B was Herbert in six games, he has 29 a half fantasy points.
I mean, that's pretty impressive.
I think I'm gonna go, Herbert, if I had to go long term here.
Yeah, I'm going, Herbert.
I'm sticking with it.
And I don't disagree with any of those pics.
I think Joe Burrow is in a better situation in Cincinnati.
He's got more young weapons.
They're gonna invest some money and probably some draft picks into that offensive line.
You know he's had more higher Q B R games than Justin Herbert.
So you know with a solid running game to help open up that pass.
I think that the Bangles provide the better situation for the quarterbacks.
Um, I think if you put either one of them in that situation and since you're gonna get about the same production right now, um, you know faras Herbert situation out in L.
You know, they have Austin nuclear.
They have Justin Jackson who will talk a little bit later.
But I feel that he has, um, or ready to go offense right now.
So I actually agree with both your picks.
I think if I'm going long term, I'm probably going Joe Burrow.
Um, but if I'm gonna take the here and now for the next 2 to 3 years and fantasy while he still has guys like Keenan Allen and Hunter, Henry and so on and so forth out there in L.
I'm gonna take Justin Herbert just for the simple fact that he's got the stuff to put it together here and now in fantasy.
So definitely agree with you there, my friend.
So with that being said, we'll move on, Mike, we'll jump into the film room as you as always will do our usual unexpected and ugly pics.
This week I'll start, uh, Mike, my usual pick, And this this one hurts my heart Being an NFC West fan.
Robert Woods from the L.
A Rams seven catches, 85 yards and a touchdown added to rushes for nine yards and a touchdown as well.
Mikey's emerging is a must start. Wide receiver.
One fancy agree? Disagree.
E mean, I love this guy and shot McVeigh's offense.
Obviously have Super Cup as well.
So you know, I don't know who is higher in the fantasy hierarchy as far as the eye test is concerned.
But, you know, going into this year, I'd argue it was Cooper Cup.
But I think Robert Woods is emerging.
Is the number one over him.
So somebody, I definitely if you're if you're looking to buy it receiver, I would definitely be looking his way.
I think they have a lot of favorable matchups, and the year two Mike my unexpected, and everybody's gonna give me my home or pick again this week.
Deejay Dallas running back to Seattle Seahawks.
Don't think that this is gonna be something that sustained.
Obviously, he's the let the fourth running back on the depth chart.
Um, but, you know, in his first game as a starter, Mike, 18 carries 41 yards and a touchdown, had five catches for 17 yards and a touchdown.
So not too shabby against 40 Niners defense.
That is banged up, but not terrible.
Right? So so you know, not not not to say that the 40 Niners would, you know, uh, would have done better otherwise.
But, you know, I think you get a great game as far as his first starting role on defy Seattle.
Like I'm taking a long, hard look at Chris Carson this offseason.
Can the guy put together a full season? We don't know.
So at least as a starter.
So my ugly mike and I'm going to sound like a broken record Abandoned ship on all cowboys this point.
Uh, it's Omari Cooper for the Cowboys.
One catch for five yards there Sunday night against the Eagles.
Why, it wasn't that game flexed, by the way.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know.
Uh, you, no matter what.
Abandoned abandoned ship on all cowboys not named Ezekiel Elliott.
So they're gonna run.
They're gonna have to run the ball.
Thio put together any semblance of an offense.
But the Cowboys, Mike, you know, CD Lamb and Marty Cooper and even Michael Gallup to a certain extent in deeper leagues weren't having bad years, you know, 111 Dak Prescott was in.
And now you're on your third string quarterback, Ben DeNucci is just not it.
I mean, I think we can all agree there.
Um, so that leaves that leaves all cowboys on the on the drawing room floor at this point, my friends.
So, Mike, would you drop for us this week? I actually I'm gonna reference a w t w and asked wttw question that we got in the YouTube chat from leash occur.
Is this a fair trade? We got girly, girly Deontay Johnson and Jonathan Taylor for Jacobs and Justin Jackson.
And who wins that trade? So I'm going to say I'm gonna answer from the perspective of a redraft league right now.
I'm taking Jacobs and Justin Jackson's without a doubt.
Um, you know what? Let me pull up one stacks.
I don't wanna I don't wanna give a haphazard stat here.
The reason I say that is Jacobs is clearly the RV wanting open in Las Vegas.
And then you look at Justin Jackson.
He goes seven last week against the 24th ranked, so the worst 24th worst matchup in Denver for running backs.
He went 17 rushing attempts, 89 rushing yards, five targets, three receptions, 53 receiving yards He started.
He started to distance himself.
The issue you have to worry about is when a killer comes back.
But for me, I'd rather have him for another week or two.
And you know, Jacobs is the guy Jonathan Taylor on the other way and is trending down.
He's got the ankle injury right now.
I'm sorry, but Steelers receivers, they are that that offense is just picking their poison each week.
The defense is taking somebody away, and they're going to whoever else.
So I don't trust it.
Enough toe outweigh the benefit I'm getting from Jacobs and possibly just the short term for Jackson.
But it could be for the rest of the year on girly.
He's like, uh, he's like a Napi plus two or three points, where he gets 10 to 15 carries.
And if he gets in the end zone, you might have a 14 point game.
But I just I'm not seeing the 2025 30 point games on.
That's where I think Jacobs eventually might have that with being the RV one purely in Las Vegas.
Yeah, I mean, I don't disagree with any of that.
Here's my thing.
Like your trading two starters and arguably a number two receiver for a starter.
You know, a top 10 back and a guy that's gonna be out of a job once Austin de Klerk comes back.
So, uh, you know, that's where that's where my apprehension is with this question.
Um, Justin Jackson is going to be, you know, relegated to backup duty.
One secular is back in the fold.
So and he tends to get some carries.
You know, vulture by Josh Kelley.
So, to me, you know, there's really no no question Number two in Oakland.
You know, Josh, Jake Jacobs is the guy, and I'm sorry.
Jonathan Taylor and Todd Gurley are Justus Good on their best day is these other two guys.
So you're basically giving Dionte Johnson away for free.
Todd Gurley We talked about it last week.
Is a top 10 running back right now, Quite often running back on ESPN dot com, He's rated sixth right now in total points.
So, um, which is ahead of Josh Jacobs? So him for him to watch.
I think Taylor is a better running back in Jackson.
So I mean, I think you're giving away Deontay Johnson for free if you're on the front side of that trade.
Thanks for the question.
We appreciate it.
So But, Mike, you were starting to talk about a little bit about your your ugly and all that for the week.
What you have, but Alright, so my usual we go Dalvin cook.
I mean, he's just falling out when he's healthy.
This week goes 48.
6 30 for 163 yards on the ground, three rushing touchdowns, two receptions, 63 yards and a touchdown.
Um, if he's healthy, you've got to play him.
Hey, is just an absolute absolute dime here.
Um, is he emerging is the best running back in the NFL.
Mike best running back in NFL or just Are we talking fantasy wise or just just any way you want to spin it? She's a top five.
I'll put him in top five because I struggle with that.
When say, Kwan, Barclays healthy uh, CMC is healthy.
He's just so electric.
I have so much fun watching Camara.
Um, he's up there and then Erin Jones has really been super consistent. Swell.
And he's doing it out of the backfield, catching passes and running the ball.
So I put him top five.
Uh, those guys, especially when I think of fantasy just cause those dual threats.
If you're looking at Just like a standard league, I put Derrick Henry in there instead of one of them at but top three.
Michael, you think top three? Yeah, Only one.
You see it on the ones in front of him for CM's when healthy are McCaffrey. And tomorrow.
So right now, Right now.
Now, that could change.
But right now there's only two better one healthy.
So But I'm sorry.
Go ahead, finish your your thought.
But no, I love that.
There was a nice little sidebar. Ugly.
I'm sorry I skipped actually, unexpected.
Corey Davis, 29.
8 points, eight receptions, 128 yards and a touchdown for the Titans.
Brown has been there.
They've been going to him.
But this game, where there was unexpected because they fell behind, they didn't control the game.
They didn't control time of possession.
Really, Uh, like they normally like to dio eso.
This was to me, the second wide receiver in Tennessee to get have such a big day.
It was nice to see as a fan, or as like, just in owner toe, have possibly another player that you can, you know, plug in and play and stream.
I don't think it's gonna happen every week, though.
Um, I do like him that I'd like him more than I have in the past few years.
It seems like he's starting to put it together on then, for my ugly, I went and found a guy named Mark.
He's Brown, and now he'd have the worst week ever, but to two targets, one reception, three receiving yards for a touchdown against Pittsburgh.
That touchdown saved him in most leagues for 7.
3 points, but then one, uh, and one really bad tweet.
That, to me, is the issue.
Now you're gonna start, Have now people will be questioning.
You know, the chemistry there it could play in his could play for him.
But the ugly part is that it's it's football is a team game.
And you know that team They run the ball well, they spread people out.
They take what teams give them a little bit.
That's a team that I just wouldn't want to screw up the core and everything.
But I just didn't. He's my ugly.
And I see somebody in the chance to question and say, Kwame Barkley in my top three.
Here's the difference.
So because the Giants offensive line Mike, you and I could go start for.
So, Michael, we're gonna talk a little bit more about some starters here, so let's get into our fantasy locks for this week.
Coming up Week nine.
Uh, current standings.
I've hit on four.
You've hit on 3.
25 because we're getting into the Dewey Decimal System with your fix.
It evidently, uh, like I didn't add my points for this week.
If you get married, I'm gonna let you call it this week.
Okay? Well, my pick last week might later.
Big fat goose, a Boston Scott.
70 yards to catches.
5 points on standard ESPN PPR league.
So not a great week.
Really, For any anybody in that that Sunday night games.
So, uh, but this week, Mike, I'm gonna go with a wide receiver.
I'm gonna go Jerry Judy from the Denver Broncos.
Tim Patrick's banged up a little bit, so if he does play this week, he is probably gonna be on a pitch.
Counts. Um, limited duty.
Mike, the Falcons.
The Broncos were playing this weekend, giving up the most receiving touchdowns lead with 20.
So you have to believe that some of these Broncos receivers pass catchers.
We're gonna get into the end zone this weekend.
The Falcons are a shell of themselves on defense, and, like, I really think I'm Andrew Locker building report.
Drew Lock is starting to trust.
This guy had 10 targets last week.
So, um, you know, he's been putting together a nice little rookie campaign.
Nothing groundbreaking. Nothing.
Nothing to write home about, but a solid, you know, beginner rookie campaign.
And I think that this is a connection.
I really like all these Broncos wide receivers.
If Drew lock could take that next step, developmentally, um, I think that these Broncos receivers, they're gonna be some sought after pieces and fantasy football.
Um, but go ahead, Mike.
Let's let's hear about your pick from last week.
I want to hear your argument.
So why you should get a point this week he was going.
It was a great matchup for Derek Carr last week and then 2020 frickin happened.
Look, the weather occurrence in Cleveland.
We're gonna blame this on 2020.
Throw it in there.
I throw it all in there.
I'm trying. I'm making the argument.
You could be the judge here.
Um 2020 weather. That was horrible.
What was that? Grapple or whatever the hell they kept saying, That was an ugly, ugly weather day in Cleveland.
It look, it rained.
It had, like, three different seasons here.
It seemed like in an hour.
And you could tell both offenses were just like, Hey, let's just control the ball and hope to win this game like, let's hopefully and pull it out late.
The Browns only had six possessions.
Uh, Derek are still scores 12.
So for me, I'm not giving myself a full one.
I'm just asking for a half point here, Blake.
5 points from a quarterback that's ranked in the top 10.
Sometimes you're gonna be a buzzer.
Is this give me a buzzer? Would neither of us to get a point.
Yeah, I'll give you.
Argue it, though.
All right, then. This week card.
Well, sweet revenge pick.
I feel like it is a revenge pick because this guy's going up against the Oakland defense.
Who is giving up the most rush most rushing touchdowns in the league at 12 this season.
Justin Jackson, um, for the charges.
He is starting to separate himself between those backups.
Uh, Josh Kelly is not getting as many touches.
Pope got involved.
Um, I just I really think that this is a good matchup for him, and I think they're just gonna pound the rock again.
I think There there, you're going to see 15 to 20 touches this week Again, they let him rest today.
This week, I think he's gonna be fine.
So, um, Justin Jackson running back Los Angeles Chargers. That's my luck.
All right, Justin Jackson.
And I like that pick, Mike.
I think the Raiders brush defense is God awful.
So that your Browns fan of was showing, so Oh, yeah, I forgot that.
A little upset because they beat my The Raiders beat my Browns, But I got you, man. That's okay.
Brown's, I think, will be fine.
Eso Mike, I'm gonna recall speaking of that, we'll dive in the wire fire here in a second.
But did you Did you see what I did on Sunday with with that tweet about Baker Mayfield in Brown's Twitter? Did you see what I did? Oh, my gosh.
Yeah, your sarcasm got me.
I was like So this guy talking about so So, Mike, I'm playing chess while the rest of Twitter is playing checkers.
So, eating the checker? Apparently.
You know, we talked about this last week when Odell Beckham Jr went down after last week and we had people in the chat, I think during the show, and then we had people messaging me, sending mediums and and obviously reaching out talking about how Baker Mayfield was so much better off without Odell Beckham Jr.
And I sent out that tweet.
I wish we had to put up on the screen, basically, just asking people, Are you still on the Baker hype train? Knowing full and well that Browns fans would just come to Baker's rescue and blame it on the who like the wide receivers, the wide receivers? My friend, because there were a ton of drops on Sunday.
I'm not picking up any Brown's receivers right now. Mike.
I picked up sure are picked up Higgins this week.
Might be dropping him already, because what I saw on Sunday was ah, Bismol.
But I sent out that tweet, got a ton of heat on Twitter for that tweet.
But it was all to help you.
Browns fans understand that that team is not better off on Baker.
Mayfield is not better off without Odell Beckham Jr.
So eso so So the tweet was the tweet was somebody called it irresponsible and I don't disagree, but sometimes that's Northeast Ohioans could be a little hardheaded.
And the only way to get through to everybody is the nuclear option.
I took the bait.
Many others That as well We have a question stick with locket over Metcalfe.
Uh, this is gonna sound funny, but I'm thinking keep him playing both if you can.
You can't risk letting one of those guys go off on your batch.
In my opinion, what do you think? Like, uh, you know, be perfectly honest there.
If you look at, uh, ESPN dot com, there's one into rank, wide receivers and total points right now, they're gonna be the first to probably cross into that 100 point threshold for the year.
Um, so, yeah, I can't disagree.
This week they got a little bit tougher matchup.
I think the bills present a little tougher matchup for the Seahawks.
Um, it is on the road in Buffalo.
I don't know what the weather is supposed to be like.
Um, but it is on the road, So, uh, yeah.
I mean, God, if you're make if you're sticking, if you're sticking me in a corner and putting, you know what to my head Yeah, I probably go D K.
Metcalf. I think he has a higher ceiling.
Um, the floors were about the same. Yeah.
The floors were about the same ceiling, probably slightly higher with Metcalf because I think he draws.
He draws the matchups a little better, but that may all change.
You know? He keeps having big games.
That that could all change.
So, yeah, it's if you have the option to start both.
Why? Why? Why not? So, yeah, so but Mike, we talked about that nuclear option.
Speaking of things that are on fire.
Let's jump into wire fire, my friend.
Ah couple Notable by weeks this week.
Carson Wentz, Jared Golf all the Eagles running back.
So Miles Sanders, Boston Scott Cream Hunt the rest of the Browns Cooper Cup.
All those Bangles, running backs and Tyler boys will be off this week.
Mike on Bye weeks.
So let's jump right in.
I'll start my running back pick up for the week, Mike.
Damian Harris from the New England Patriots.
He's only owned in about 49% of ESPN dot com leagues right now, And if you look the Patriots are reverting back to that run first offense.
I think they got punched in the mouth the last couple weeks, and I think it really got under Bill Belichick skin, so they're gonna go back to that run.
First play defense attitude.
He had 16 carries last week, 102 yards and a touchdown against that Top five Top five Bills defense and Mike.
They're playing the J E.
T s Jets, Jets Jets this week, my friend giving up the eighth most fantasy points per game.
Opposing running back.
So, in my opinion, Damien here is not only is a is a pickup this week, but he's a start this week.
He was nearly my lock for this week.
So almost pulled double duty with Damian Harris.
Uh, I'll move on to my wide receiver, and this was probably a little less obvious or a little more obvious, but Curtis Samuel running or the wide receiver, rather for the Carolina Panthers only owned it about 43 a half percent of ESPN dot com leagues.
Believe it or not, yeah, I was really surprised looking this up.
Yeah, so four catches on five targets for those 31 yards in a touchdown on Sunday had those three carries for an additional 23 a touchdown.
Mike, they get him involved in this running game, and as long as Christian McCaffrey still on the shelf, they're gonna continue to get creative with Curtis.
I really like this Panthers offense.
They are lacking up front, a little bit.
Eso there is Cem, Cem, Cem, Apprehension.
You know it's faras how far this offense could go, but I think with that top in burner speed and the schedule they have coming up after the next two weeks, that's the one caveat I want to give to this pick up.
I'm picking telling you to pick him up now because you got to strike while the iron is hot right? The next two weeks, I probably had him sitting down.
He's gonna play the Chiefs and the bank and the Bucks, who are two of the top five passing defenses in the league right now.
But after that, Mikey plays Detroit, Minnesota, Denver and then a couple weeks later in New Orleans, who all rank in the top and the bottom half of the league in terms of pass defense.
So, you know, this is a guy you pick up and you love the way you just words stash, right? This guy I'm picking up stashing, I'm playing him.
If I have an injury that comes up, I'm playing him.
If I have a bye week and maybe my backup plans not panning out, you know the original backup plan for that receiver? Um, you know, and you know, he's a Buckeye.
So there's that with his top end speed and then the fact that they're using creative ways to get the ball, you're going to see those little passes that are literally handoffs.
Essentially, that's a point in PPR leagues.
He I love this pick, Blake.
I really dio another guy I really like this week is 19 Heinz.
He's only owning 33% of leagues.
Um, their colts air going in.
Uh, they're going up against the Ravens.
I think this is an obvious game where it's either gonna be a battle.
Um, I think the Ravens are really gonna be revved up after there were there.
We get lost the Steelers.
Um, and I love his role in the passing game.
I think he's gonna really sad lead to some solid fantasy points for team managers out there s so I'd pick him up.
And then I'm also concerned about the fact that Taylor's out, So this gives him a little bit more of that, that target or he's not out.
I'm not saying he's out. He's banged up.
Um, there's gonna be a little bit more of the couple more touches. Probably.
Um, do you feel do you feel like in name? Heinz is a guy that I've picked up and dropped, I think three times this year, just based on matchups the last three years.
I've done that, though.
He's just He's such a good pass catching back that that he serves his role, right? Like you don't want a roster of all time.
You want these guys who might blow up and go off.
But when you need to stream somebody, he's not a bad option.
He could go off for you in the right and the right fall, right? If you need a streaming starting, you're really struggling. I agree.
I think he's a guy that you definitely keep your eye on.
The problem I have the minds is the the ceilings high right, but the floor could be so low they tend to just they tend to just forget about him.
Sometimes in that offense and it tends toe.
You know, if you catch it on one of those weeks where they leave him behind like McCulley Koken.
I mean, he's he's forgot the for Gotten that in that cold office.
I had to get one.
I had to get one home alone reference in Does everybody thinks I hate Christmas, So, uh, by the way, we're in.
My were in my part of the year, my friend.
Don't you dare put a Christmas tree up till Black Friday.
I'm with you, man.
I can't. I like Thanksgiving.
The weight? Yeah, it's the It's the lineman's holiday.
I I've never heard it called that.
That's a good one.
Oh, yeah, Just eat turkey and fall asleep, right? Watch football.
Wide receiver is when I this one.
Even though there is a quarterback, Rometty's struggling things.
Guy seems to be doing all right, and he's such a low percentage that you're gonna be able to get him.
So I I really like this is our wire fire pick Darnell Mooney, 8% on wide receiver for the Bears, had six targets last week.
Five catches, 69 yards and he had a touchdown against the 11th ranks.
Saints pass defense.
So look, he gets the Titans.
It's a great matchup right there, the second best match up for a wide receiver.
And then he follows up next week with the Vikings.
Third best matchup wide receivers, and they get the Vikings again in a few weeks.
So this is a guy that not only do stash, but I think you can play, especially if you're struggling like me, who I'm dealing with injuries co vid everywhere.
All of my leagues.
I have just like my managerial skills are being pressed.
I'm just trying to find people I can put in my lineup in some leagues, and this is a guy that I think you can.
I think he's not just gonna be serviceable, and what I like is he is the deep threat to he could have a game.
We only has three targets, but if he catches two of them for 80 yards, you're you're okay.
And if one's a touchdown.
You're in a really good place.
So they're using but using a speed to take the top off.
So I'm a big fan.
Those air yards he's getting? Yeah, no, I agree, my guy.
The thing that scares me about Bears wide receivers is who's throwing them the ball every week.
So there's no doubt the quarterback play is shaky at best.
Let's talk about that for a second.
Just before we wrap up the Bears.
What do you do if you're the Bears? After the season? Do you go? Do you? Do you try to trade up? Do you try to go after a free agent? Do you try to make a trade for, like, a Jamis? Winston? They didn't do anything at the deadline.
What, do you try to do it for? The Bears? I don't know.
This is a hard one.
They really put themselves in a corner with their paid Nick Foles A bunch of money.
Uh, Travis Key, a free agent this year.
This'll fifth year option, right? E believe so? Yes, I believe it is.
Yes, He was the same class.
Myles Garrett, Was he not? I think so.
Yeah, I'm on it.
Um, four year did it.
So pretty much next year they have There is unrestricted free agent in 2021.
I don't I don't think they're picking that option now. I wouldn't.
So Yeah, that's my thing with the bear because they got some talented wide receivers on that team.
You know, They got some, you know, a decent tight end.
They got running backs and yeah, I mean, what do you do? And I don't see Allan Robinson sticking around for to be, quite frankly, e do something to make him happy, right? Right.
What you gotta hope is that Nick Foles get some of that late season magic.
Honestly, that's I mean, that's your best hope.
At this point, I feel like, um because they're I mean, they're defense is great in Montgomery.
A guy who I thought was looking slow for a while.
He started last week.
He started to show some he's making players, miss.
He's starting toe make gain extra yards after contact.
Uh, so he's a guy that I was starting to fade on, and now I'm get a little excited about him.
I'm gonna watch him a little closer these next few weeks to right? Well, Mike, the other thing you can watch every week or the family shows we have over a big play.
