Hello, everybody, And welcome into tonight's broadcast.
I am Samuel Ray is coming to You Live tonight here on SportsCastr.
Well, at the end of July, we began with the resumption of the MBA season with 22 teams at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida Now that field has been trimmed down to the Final Two.
It's the MBA finals here on SportsCastr Game one from Orlando as the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Miami Heat.
The Lakers controlled the opening tip and we're underway from Orlando.
Game one of the MBA Finals.
This should be a fun one.
LeBron James and his 10th n B A Finals facing his former team in the Miami Heat.
Anthony Davis fade away shot.
No good rebound controlled by Bam! Out of bio at a bio.
Now we'll hand it off to Robinson.
Robinson's a butler on the right wing, Robinson on the move inside for at a bio tough shot, and it will roll off the rim rebound controlled by Dwight Howard.
LeBron James takes it up the floor for the Lakers, picked up by drag it along the perimeter into the corner Now it goes with continuous Caldwell.
Pope KCP working on dragons kicks to the corner green. The three.
No rebound controlled by Crowder.
Jae Crowder up ahead for Jimmy Butler Butler along the baseline.
Now outside, it goes to Crowder Crossover move from drag it.
She'll drive to the rim, now kicks to the corner.
Crowder's three is up and in, and the first points of the MBA finals on the board on the three point make from Jae Crowder.
Here is Anthony Davis.
Meanwhile, for the L A Lakers.
He'll kick it out.
LeBron James will swing it to Danny Green.
Green in the corner. Caldwell.
Pope picked up by Anna Bio.
Now it's into the hands of LeBron James.
Shot clock at five.
James double teamed cross court to Davis.
A little fake, and now the three.
A knocks it down and we're tied up.
Anthony Davis has been unbelievable in these playoffs.
He'll be a lot to handle for the Miami Heat.
The Siri's nice little shimmy and Butler hits a three at the other end.
And what a response from Miami.
All three pointers so far.
Now, Davis to called a sorry Thio.
Yeah, that was Caldwell Pope, his three off the mark in a battle for the rebound.
Dwight Howard could not snag it away.
And Jimmy Butler up court now for Miami.
Thanks for joining the broadcast, Nancy.
I appreciate it.
Butler on the drive and that one rolls in.
So five points now for Jimmy Butler 8 to 3.
The lead is five for the heat.
Pope finds Anthony Davis Davis spin move on Crowder.
The floater is short, but Crowder lost it and it will stay a Laker ball with 14 on the shot clock.
Well, I think we've learned throughout these playoffs that Jimmy Butler isn't afraid of anything, and that includes LeBron James.
He's not afraid to drive and get aggressive as Davis hits the mid range jumper off the inbounds pass.
85 The lead is three for Miami, five points for Davis in the early stages at a bio on the fake Pasts will now take it to the Cup and fouled on the shot by Dwight Howard, the first free throws of the Siri's coming up.
So Miami's road well, they swept the Pacers in the first round, Then they would go on to beat the Bucks and five and then the Celtics in six.
Unfortunately, as you guys know, I'm a huge Boston Celtics fan.
But you know, credit credit to the Miami Heat.
They played a heck of a Siri's and bam out of bio in the conference finals against Boston, Six games averaged 21.
8 points per game shot 61% 11 rebounds as well.
All of those stats that I listed off led the team in the Siri's.
He was the best player throughout the conference finals for the Miami Heat.
Meanwhile, the Lakers they've won all three.
Siri's and five started with the Blazers, then the Rockets and the Nuggets in the conference finals. LeBron James.
Three good LeBron James from downtown.
It's now a 10 8 lead for the Miami Heat.
The pick will pull up from the right elbow, Denied from behind by Danny Green.
LeBron James at the other end.
We'll lock it up for a D.
Missed the layup by the foul is called as Davis might have got poked in the eye there by Jae Crowder.
Two free throws coming up for Davis first to free throws of the game for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Thanks very much for the popcorn.
Glad you're enjoying the broadcast Game one of the MBA Finals coming to you live here on SportsCastr.
Well, actually, it wasn't a shooting foul.
I thought Davis was in the act of shooting, but apparently not.
So they inbound instead from the sideline.
Here is Davis Garden tightly by Jae Crowder.
Davis will get it out to contagious Caldwell.
Pope takes to the baseline.
The deep to from K C P, Dwight Howard and Bam had a pile already getting at it a little bit.
That should be an intriguing matchup.
We're all tied up.
Jimmy Butler on the move. Nice pass in the layup.
Good from at a bio.
Four minutes in the game. One.
The lead is 12 10.
Miami Open. Three.
Green will take it, but it rolls out as at a bio.
We play on Drug, which takes it across mid court.
Goran Dragic with a fake pass and the layup I wanna move by Goran Dragic, who is also a huge part of this Heat team in the conference finals.
The lead now for for the Heat.
Nice cut by Caldwell.
Pope tries to roll it in, but we got an offensive goaltending call against Anthony Davis, who was a little too anxious on the follow up.
That one looks like it was going to roll in, But Davis did indeed, tap it in when the ball was on the cylinder.
So the basket doesn't count.
And here come Miami the other way.
Jimmy Butler bounced past Obama out of Bio.
You'll hand it off to drag it shot clock at seven.
Drag it off the screen with the floater Air ball, but at a bio there and he throws it down on the second chance.
And that a bio six points to start.
A promising start to this Game.
The Lakers haven't played since Saturday.
The Heat last played.
Sorry, the Lakers haven't as that's offensive foul with 6 45 left.
One of the Lakers last play, I'm not even sure, but the Heat haven't played since Sunday.
So just two days rest before this series got underway from Miami, the Lakers have been off for quite a while now as we hit commercial break time out on the floor.
Game one of the MBA Finals here on SportsCastr.
The lead is six early on for the Heat.
I'm back for more after the break. Stay tuned.
I'll come back in.
Everybody, Thank you, John, for joining the broadcast.
I greatly appreciate it.
How about Anthony Davis and his journey to the N B A.
At the age of 17 he was already 6 ft three, and now here he is in the N B A finals.
For the first time in his career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
He had never got past the second round, Ah, before making the move to the Lakers in his time with the New Orleans Pelicans.
And he's been a huge part of this run to the finals for the Lakers, and they pretty much taken care of each Siri's with ease so far.
Eight season in the league for e D.
As I say, first finals appearance, It's Miami with the ball out of the time out, Game one of the MBA Finals here on SportsCastr, a 16 to 10 lead for the heat Butler on the drive high off the glass in in Dwight Howard was all in his face, but Butler still gets the shot to go an 80 run for Miami in the last 100 seconds.
Davis finds LeBron James James Cross Court No.
One there for L.
A and a uncharacteristic turnover committed by James Miami.
We're going to keep the tempo going in their favor.
An up tempo offense here, quickly inbound, inbounded here is Dragon. Chances.
Fade away, shot from the baseline and it rattles in the lead is now 10.
It was 10 10 at one point.
Miami Jimmy Butler has nine points for the Heat.
Danny Green in the corner double team and a steal by drug itch near the Heat come in.
Transition drug. It's on the move.
He gets to the corner.
Butler keeps it in Crowder on the pump.
Fake now create space and knocks down the three.
Ah, quick time out follows from Frank Vogel.
The Miami Heat are feeling it.
A 13 run, 23 to 10.
Miami on top here in Game one of the MBA finals, the heat aren't messing around, are they? Well, they haven't all playoffs long.
Crowder with the three and a Laker time out.
The actual continues from Orlando after the break.
Game one of the MBA final.
That's Miami by 13 and quarter one.
Welcome back in everybody, Thank you, Rita, for joining the broadcast Much appreciate a lot of familiar faces in the virtual crowd, including former president of the United States Barack Obama.
We've got Shaquille O'Neal, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce all in the first couple of rows of the virtual fan section.
You gotta love it here for Game one of the MBA Finals, all of the celebrity showing out.
Kareem Abdul Jabbar has got a front row virtual seat.
Bill Walton, Dirk Nowitzki as well.
I could keep naming Mawr and Mawr virtual fans that are well known.
, run for the Heat, four turnovers in that span for the Lakers.
Can they bounce back out of the time out here? It's Rajon Rondo with it for the Los Angeles Lakers shot clock at three off balance shot and Rondo got it to go.
And so that breaks the 13 13 and No.
13 to run, I should say for the Miami Heat, 23 12 the lead is 11 now for Miami.
They get all that back to Robinson inside of the cutting of Goodall, who leaves it back for Butler.
Can't make the layup rebound grabbed by Anthony Davis, and now Rajon Rondo will push for the Lakers.
It goes to Kyle Kuzma, whose mother the corner Rajon Rondo, guarded by Jae Crowder.
He'll launch the three no good Tyler hero there for the rebound hero.
Now the other way in transition for Miami.
How it goes to Iguodala handed off to Robinson Robinson back to Iguodala.
Now the corner with Jimmy Butler.
Butler drives along the baseline.
It gets through the Jae Crowder shot clock at seven.
Crowder will take the three no good, but eh, Guadalajara with the follow up slam dunk as he throws it down with an attitude, 25 12.
The lead back to 13 for the Heat.
Now a deep to Kuzma hits the back iron hero there for the rebound, but it's stolen by the Lakers.
First turnover for the Heat.
Davis out to Rajon Rondo Rondo, now to the left wing with Caldwell Pope into the hands of Davis.
That goes, The double team emerges out to the coup wide open Kuzma Kuzma to the corner called Low Popes. Three.
Swish, Good ball moon from the Lakers.
LeBron James Right now on the bench for L.
A now hero, the fake and now the drive.
High off the glass and it rolls off.
Kuzma takes it the other way for the Los Angeles Lakers into the hands of Rajon Rondo Rondo, guarded by Tyler. Hero.
Double team to the corner.
Caldwell, Pope, Another three contagious Caldwell Pope starting to feel it from beyond the arc, and especially from that corner on the right wing.
And Erik Spoelstra will not take any gamble as a time out is called.
It's the Heat by 73 minutes, Eight seconds to go in the opening quarter of Game one in the N. B.
A Finals, 25 18.
Miami, on top of the action, continues from Orlando.
Welcome back into the broadcast, everybody.
A beautiful night in Orlando, Florida at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The location we've gotten used to over the past few months Butler nine points for Miami.
That's a playoff high already for him in the first quarter.
Now the drive from Iguodala, he'll kick it to the corner and the three is good from Jae Crowder.
So my any respond right out of the time out.
Davis puts his head down on the dried, lays it in with the left hand, 28 20.
Miami in the lead.
Thanks Isaac for joining the broadcast.
Butler tries to get it out to Robinson, but it's tipped away by Rondo.
It stays Miami ball.
You cannot be any half here that I'm not commentating Lakers, Celtics.
Oh, of course, Sincere A heat fan.
But, hey, this should be.
This should be a fun Siris for sure, even though obviously I'm devastated that the Celtics aren't in it.
But it is what it is.
Yeah, Gigi LeBron should be a great matchup, No doubt about it.
Pope draws contact and fouled, but they will say his foot was on the line.
So it was a two point attempt.
Therefore, two free throws coming up.
Oh, yeah, he's a phenomenal defender.
Yeah, that was a great move to get him at the deadline.
Unlike the Celtics, who made zero moves at the trade deadline.
Yeah, that's true, man.
LeBron's been on the bench for quite a while now.
I'm sure he'll come back in shortly as the first free throw is good from K C P.
Game two of the Siri's Friday at nine Eastern every game is that nine, except the two games in the series that are on a on a Sunday.
So Game three and six, if necessary, those will be at 7 30.
Here is bam! Out of bile data bile to the corner.
The God Allah will back it up now.
Take it back in.
Crossover move on.
Rondo off the glass. No good.
He gets his own rebound, though.
Out it goes to hero.
The three is up off the mark, rebound controlled by the Lakers, a Hail Mary pass ahead and KCP denied on a block from Tyler hero at the defensive end.
Now it's going on drug.
It's the other way for the heat.
Dr is guarded by Caruso.
Out. It goes to Robinson dribbles to the left.
Now it's Caruso.
At the other end.
Four of the Lakers high tempo game here.
How that goes to Caldwell.
Pope that three well off the mark, but Davidson offensive rebound and a foul goes against Bama at a bio on the second chance.
And so two free throws coming up here is LeBron James is set to re enter this game in the late stages of quarter one.
Anthony Davis just taking advantage of his strength of his strength and size.
He's been averaging 28.
8 points per game in these playoffs, fifth in the MBA as the most by LeBron James teammate entering the finals.
By the way, and there's been some, there's there's been some really good teammates of LeBron that have Ah, whose teams have gone to the finals in the first.
Free throw is good from Davis.
We all know LeBron James is a huge part of the Siris for the Lakers side, but Anthony Davis cannot be underestimated.
You know, he definitely isn't based on.
You know what? I hear he The credit he deserves is granted, but I'm just saying that guy can.
That guy is a bad man.
He can really light it up at times.
That's an air ball on the shot from the baseline by Goran Dragic.
Kuzma FAKES The shot out.
It goes to James.
The leaders cut to four James spin move, working through traffic in a foul called against at a bio again.
So to the line goes LeBron James this time around for two free throws, 1 16 left in the first and the free throw line being a popular becoming a popular place here late in the first quarter for the Lakers.
Second foul picked up by Bam out of bile and the first free throw is good.
Yeah, a lot of movement underneath the basket.
Davis trying to get open, trying to get away from the defense that is looking to swallow him up down in the post as both free throws, their good from James and the lead for Miami, just like that has been cut to two 28 26 to score.
The Heat Have missed their last five field goals Here is dragging bounce pass to Jones, and it's stolen away by Alex Caruso.
Caruso ahead to James.
He'll lob it up for Davis, who can't grab it, but it is off of Solomon Hill, and so it stays in the possession of the Lakers and still plenty of time on the shot clock.
Jimmy Butler, currently taking a seat for the Miami Heat.
He'll probably come back in for the start of the second quarter.
I'd assume the inbounds pass goes to Anthony Davis.
Davis double teamed.
The shot will roll out the rim, then Jones there for the rebound of sloppy past LeBron James.
Alley you corralled and put in by Anthony Davis, and we're tied at 28 of peace.
This is what the Los Angeles Lakers can dio 16 to 3 run in the last three minutes when they go up a gear, you can't make any mistakes against this team hero on the move underneath for Jones, and he strips away on the shot, just about a three second difference between the shot and game clock.
LeBron James will slow it down here.
The Los Angeles Lakers trying to take the lead here late on in the first quarter.
James Toronto Rondo kicks it out.
Davis to the corner.
Caruso's three good and the Los Angeles Lakers have taken the lead, 31 to 28 2 on the clock.
Now Hero will launch it from deep air ball, and that's the end of one quarter of play.
Well, it was a slow start for the L A Lakers, but Anthony Davis and the Lakers got it going later on in the first.
Davis had 11 points in the 1st 12 minutes, one quarter in the books.
Game one of the MBA Finals.
It's the Lakers up 31 28 2nd quarter next from Orlando.
Welcome back in everybody.
One quarter in Game one of the MBA Finals in the books, It's a three point lead for the Lakers, and later on in that first quarter, the Lakers did a great job moving the ball around the double.
Teams weren't phasing them one bit.
On the other end of the floor, the Miami Heat did a good job of getting the ball in the cup.
A very entertaining first quarter of play runs from each side.
The lead is three for Los Angeles, second quarter on the way in 60 seconds.
Stay tuned for that next welcome back to the N B.
A finals game one between the Heat and Lakers here on SportsCastr, and after one quarter of play, the lead is 34 Los Angeles, who trailed by as many as 12 in that first quarter.
They ended the quarter the Lakers on a 19 3 run.
Miami, meanwhile, missed 10 of their last 12 shots, looking to change that here in the second and Goran Dragic answers the Bellas.
It's late in high off the glass with the left hand lead now trimmed down to one second quarter just underway from Orlando, Florida Rondo to James shot clock.
LeBron James, pounding his way inside underneath, kicks to the corner.
Cozma's three good Kyle Kuzma from downtown the leaders four for Los Angeles, you're now is Jimmy Butler.
Butler to the right wing.
Hill will take the contested three off the Mark Caruso there for the board.
Now it's Rondo bringing it up.
Court Rondo to Caruso back.
It goes to Rajon.
Rondo has been influential in these playoffs for L. A.
James will pull up, and that shot misses.
Now here are the heat coming the other way.
It could all will hand it out here on the Dr losing in too easy there for Tyler hero.
I'll get to your comments in the moment here is Rajon Rondo.
Rondo picks up the dribble.
Bounce, pass, toe Markieff.
Morris Morris. Tough shot. No good.
Yeah. I didn't see what you sent.
I think he forgot about Has limited Goodell.
Here is butler too long.
Strides on the euro Step the layup. No Good.
Now here comes James James kicks it out.
Morris will swing into the left wing.
Rajon Rondo from downtown.
The Lakers three point shooting has been solid.
Yeah, Rana made the finals with the Celtics in 2000 and eight.
Yeah, you're right.
Yeah, I know there's many more, too, as that shot is off the mark.
I don't know about Dwight Howard.
I don't know if he's been to the Finals.
I'm uncertain, actually.
Yeah, Danny Green as this is.
Lays it in off that steel by Miami.
They capitalized at the other end.
Lakers lead at 37 34.
Rondo off the screen takes into the light in a wild shot, but he was indeed fouled by Solomon Hill.
So two free throws coming up.
Hey, look at the upcoming MBA and W MBA playoff schedule.
The W N B A finals get underway on Friday with Game one between Seattle and Vegas at seven Eastern time.
The MBA Finals, meanwhile, continue on Friday as well, with Game two at nine Eastern and then Sunday will be Game three at 7 30.
Uh huh, Why you laughing about Solomon Hill? Rajon Rondo It two free throws here.
Yeah, I know he doesn't feature too often, but that's true.
He is like their ninth man.
Each will kick it to the corner hill.
It's a hero Tyler hero with the shot clock winding down drives along the baseline to the corner.
It goes Butler's three good Jimmy Butler from downtown, The Heat within two.
Miami moving the ball around quite fluently, and it's been paying off.
That's 12 points now for Butler.
He's in double figures.
Yeah, I know the way Butler started this game.
Rondo finally misses the three, and now drag.
It will take it the other way for the Heat.
He'll lob it up, controlled by Butler, and he was pushed by Rondo.
The foul on the floor.
Yeah, Jimmy Butler is not playing around, is he? He's come here to play 8 31 left in the second quarter, and Rhonda will now take a seat for the Lakers.
I mean, it's played Ferrando seven points off the bench.
He's been productive all playoffs along off the bench for L. A.
Here is Jimmy Butler.
Butler turns it over.
Green up the floor to on one.
James to Caruso, who throws it down.
Alex Caruso, a fan favorite.
He's got five points with that dunk.
Here now is Jimmy Butler from Miami.
Four minutes gone in quarter to Butler into the lane. Kicks it out. Heroes.
The three point shooting just won't cool down for the Miami Heat.
They're now within one of the Lakers.
Yeah, both teams.
Miami six of 13 l A.
He'd have been hot as of late.
It's been moved by James.
The lay up short.
He thought he was fouled.
You have to get back on defense.
Hero has it knocked away by Caruso, it will stay in the possession of Miami Onley.
Six seconds coming off the shot clock.
Let's see the replay of that drive from James.
That's not enough.
That's not a foul inbounds passed a hero.
He hits the corner. Three.
Are you kidding me? Tyler, hero in sync on the move, hits the three from the corner, and it's a swish.
Time out by the Lakers.
Back in the lead.
They're feeling it from beyond the Arc.
You don't want him to start heating up, do you? The lead is to for Miami, 43 41.
The action continues from Orlando in Game one.
Welcome back, everybody.
Game one of the MBA Finals here on SportsCastr LeBron James, the fourth player in N B A history to reach 10 MBA Finals Course was part of the Big Three in Miami.
Had two championships in four appearances in the Finals with the Heat, You want Cleveland their first major championship since 1964 with the calves.
And now here he is with the Los Angeles Lakers going up against his former team, the Miami Heat.
Thank you, Howard, for joining the broadcast.
James has averaged 28.
2 points per game in his finals career, 47% shooting and 10 rebounds per game.
Well, all right. The leaders to for the Heat.
Here is James in the corner out Thio.
Three is three is good, and so the Lakers take a one point lead.
The Bam Out of bio back it goes toe Butler and a foul called on the floor.
Anthony Davis will re enter for the Los Angeles Lakers.
That, as always, could be a huge boost for L. A.
And lead it by a point.
Davis, Caruso, Green, James and Morris on the floor.
Crowder in the corner.
Gets it to hero.
Did he step out of bounds? Yes, he did.
He made the three afterwards, because why wouldn't he? But he did, indeed.
Step out. Let's see the replay.
Yeah, he came from from out of bounds and didn't establish his feet back in bounds when he corralled.
That passed the correct decision.
Green in the corner fakes the three, and now we'll drive along the baseline out.
It goes to Davis.
The three is up. It is good.
Anthony Davis, just like I said he could, makes an immediate impact as he hits the 3 47 43 Lakers on top.
When you're the midway mark of quarter to tell her.
Here on the drive off balance shot well, short hero comes out limping on the play and now l A in transition.
James out to Caruso.
Caruso gets by hero and lays it in Alex Caruso putting on the moves.
The lead is now six for the Los Angeles Lakers and now a time out called by Erik Spoelstra in the Miami Heat.
Largest lead of the night for the Lakers, it's a 49 43 advantage with 609 to go in the opening half are sorry in the second quarter.
Oh yeah, in the opening half.
A swell here of Game one in the MBA Finals, Alex Caruso getting it done for the Los Angeles Lakers.
I'll be back after the break time out on the floor.
It's the MBA Finals here on SportsCastr.
Don't go anywhere.
They actually continues after this quick break from the ESPN wide world of Sports complex.
49 43 Lakers over the Heat.
The action continues next between Los Angeles and Miami. Stay tuned.
It's the MBA finals here on SportsCastr.
And how about the Lakers? Supporting cast Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell, Pope Rajon Rondo do any green Dwight Howard? As much as we highlight LeBron James and Anthony Davis rightly so.
The supporting cast of the Lakers has has contributed to a good amount of production as the Lakers Aaron a NATO run here is that a bio puts up the shot.
With the rebound for the Lakers, they will be brought up the Fuller by Rajon Rondo.
Rondo finds Davis top of the key.
Davis back to Rondo.
It's drag it at a bio hero.
Robinson and Crowder on the floor at the moment for the Miami Heat shot clock at three.
Danny Green will drive inside.
The floater rattles in, but the whistle is called.
Whistle is blown, I should say, and they're saying it's an offensive foul so the basket will not count for Danny Green.
And it was off the ball against Markieff Morris, apparently, as we take a look at the replay.
Oh yeah, Duncan Robinson.
I mean, that's a little bit weak.
E mean, come on.
So it's the first picked up by Morris.
It's the NB Finals.
They can't be calling little fouls like those.
They gotta let them play anyways.
The lead remains eight for the Lakers.
Here is Obama the bio for Miami.
How the bio out to drag age drag.
Ah, blocked by Davis and now it's Rondo.
At the other end, Rajon Rondo keeps the dribble going.
He'll back it up now.
Throws it into the hands of Anthony Davis.
Shot clock down to seven.
Davis double team down.
It goes to Morris.
The three pointer is up.
And then, and it's the first double digit Lee the night for the Lakers, 54 43 of 13.
Nothing run for Los Angeles that Miami time out, not seeming to slow down the Lakers drag.
It will put up the three from the right wing.
That's well off the mark.
Markieff Morris there for the rebound ahead.
It goes to Rondo.
Rondo lobs it up for Davis.
It is an excellent job preventing him from getting to that passed, so it's off of Los Angeles Miami ball.
A za Lakers turn it over that haven't done so often tonight.
Yeah, what's made the Lakers so effective offensively so far in this game is their ball movement.
You know, whenever a double team you know, comes on Anthony Davis or anyone else.
He's happy to kick it out to the Open man.
And the three point shooting has been very consistent as a foul was called against Miami.
In these playoffs, Markieff Morris has played in 15 games, averaging 17.
3 points, 44% from three point range.
LeBron James Not in the game right now, his team up by 11.
Here's Jimmy Butler.
Fade away, no good and now a battle for the rebound off of at a bio Lakers ball.
It will be brought up by Rajon Rondo.
We're onto the Caldwell Pope now at the top of the key with Green Rondo back to Green.
Anthony Davis fade away shot.
You could also picks up the rebounds over Jimmy Butler.
Butler puts in the layup, and maybe that's what Miami needs to get going.
Once again lead down to 93 40 left in the opening half, Danny Green will take the Open three. Good.
The Lakers just will not cool down from downtown Lakers by a dozen.
Now it's Jimmy Butler on the move, fouled, and the basket goes in a three point play opportunity for Jimmy Butler as he was fouled by Johnny Green.
Green doesn't think it was a foul.
Well, Bron James comes back in for L.
Meanwhile, the defense of Miami will need to step up against this Lakers team.
The Lakers are a whole another challenge when it comes Thio How Thio attack them on the defensive end compared to any thing that he'd have faced so far in these playoffs.
And Frank Vogel has now challenged the call, so I will step aside as this challenge takes place.
It was called a foul against Danny Green on Jimmy Butler.
This is a big call coming up.
Well, the challenge payoff for the Lakers? Or will the call stand and an opportunity for Jimmy Jimmy Butler three point play beyond the way we'll find out after this? It's the N B A Finals live on SportsCastr.
Welcome back into the broadcast.
So the challenge was put forth by Frank Vogel and the players still being looked at.
Danny Green immediately thought that it was not a foul against him, despite the referees believing otherwise.
But the place still being looked at.
Honestly, I'm not.
I'm not sure about this one.
So is the question.
Is, is there enough evidence to overturned the decision? And I mean, at first, Butler did push into him before the foul was eventually called.
So, yeah, there was a little push off from Butler there with the arm eso I could see this being overturned and we'll see if that is indeed the case.
Danny Green drew some blood as well.
From his lip, it looked like, actually, is gum right right above his teeth up here for the visual.
Well, Danny Green's been playing well so far in this first half for the L A Lakers.
And so indeed, we still don't know what the decision the final decision will be.
Jimmy Butler is 16 points so far tonight.
So the challenge is successful.
But not for the push off by Butler.
They said Danny Green went, Hey, didn't he did go straight up.
You know, it wasn't a foul in the first place, but I thought they were maybe gonna call an offensive foul for the push off from Butler.
Green clearly did go straight up.
So the result is the basket counts.
But there was no foul, obviously, and and so the baskets.
Good but no free throw for Jimmy Butler.
So that's the result.
Spin move by James in the easy layup.
Great response at the other end for the Lakers L. A.
Having a field day at times with this Miami zone, I'm Annabelle pulls up from the right elbow.
James grabs the rebound for the Lakers.
James will slow it down for L. A.
Now the corner it goes, and a lazy turnover has Caldwell.
Pope could not grasp it.
So Miami tick over with 2 55 left in the half.

James picked up by Tyler here on the top of the key, LeBron James driving in and tonight at the rim, and it's off of him Last Miami ball.
That's big time defense there for the Heat and Miami know very well that they have to step it up offensively.
Iguodala with the block, And that's what Andre Iguodala is there to do.
Shut down James as much as he can.
Now it's Jimmy Butler for Miami Butler at the top of the key.
Crowder, the left wing Tyler hero who's been hot from three.
Well, fake the shot on the step back deep to off the glass.
No good from Bama Tobia with the shot clock winding down.
Here's James in transition.
He hits the deck, keeps the dribble.
How that goes to K C P.
Now it's back to James, stolen by Jimmy Butler.
Butler, now the other way for Miami.
Hands it off to Crowder Crowder to Iguodala, and it's bobbled around and eventually picked up and stolen by Danny Green.
And now the Lakers nearly give it right back, a battle for the loose ball and after all of that, a jump ball.
LeBron James was battling for that loose ball on the floor a little slow to get up.
Let's see the replay here.
That was the loose ball he got Him and Jae Crowder were tied up on the floor.
Yeah, it looks like Yeah, it looked like he got his right arm.

A minute, five left in the half bounce pass to Robinson.
It goes toe for Iguodala is three no good, and the Lakers grabbed the rebound final minute of the opening half year on SportsCastr James, guarded by hero working inside and the underhand scoop.
No good grabs his own rebound and is fouled on the second chance.
LeBron James will head of the line.
Has some words for Jae Crowder afterwards.
36.9 seconds left in the half.
James to the free throw line.
Great unselfish passed from Kyle Koosman.
Just a great read.
The whole world thought he was going up for the shot instead.
Ah, quick feed down low for Davis for the easy dunk.
A few possessions to go for the Lakers.
And the first free throw is good coming up next.
The halftime report.
I'll give you my game.

Eight points for LeBron James looking to make it nine here and that he does 63 48 the Lakers with their largest lead tonight.
Los Angeles, perfect from the line.
Half a minute remains in quarter.
To here is Jimmy Butler.
Butler, with the drive, lost the handle, grasping his left knee afterwards, slow to get up.
Here come the Lakers at the other end and throwing it down.
His Anthony Davis Butler is hobbling now as he gets up and Erik Spoelstra pretty much forced to call a time out here.
Jimmy Butler clearly in some discomfort.
Oh, yeah, man, he turned the ankle.
It wasn't really off of any contact.
It's right there.
He just turned his left ankle and a big concern here for the heat.
Yeah, that did not look good at all.
The heat in some trouble right now.
We'll keep an eye on the status.
Jimmy Butler, Time out on the floor.
I'm back for the final few seconds of the first half right after this.
Welcome back into the broadcast, everybody.
Beautiful night in Orlando, Florida, home of the entirety of these MBA playoffs.
John of the final two teams in what started with 22 in the bubble, Anthony Davis is also heading to the locker room for the Lakers, so it appears he's picked up in injurious Well, well, Butler's back out there here, so Jimmy Butler appears to be all right.
Well, we'll see, but it'll battle through the injury as that shot is short.
Kuzma at the buzzer. No good.
That ends a fantastic second quarter for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The lead, 65 48 over the Miami Heat at the break 11 made three point field goals that ties a franchise playoff record for any half in Lakers history.

Welcome into the halftime report here.
Game one of the MBA finals between the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers from the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida Glad to have you guys on board on this Wednesday night.
Hope you're enjoying the broadcast thus far.
The Lakers, with a magnificent second quarter to take a 17 point lead at the break.
LeBron James wasn't even great in that first half.
Just nine points on two of six shooting, six rebounds, seven assists.
But it's been the rest of this Lakers team who has stepped up their game, and the three point shooting cannot be overlooked.
Obviously, I mean, it's been unbelievable three after three being made by the Lakers.
And, honestly, there's not much you can do about that from the Heat perspective.
But the Lakers also have drove to the basket on other occasions, and at times Miami have just had some lazy defending.
I felt like, now and again.
Anthony Davis 18 points on seven of 11 shooting in that first half, four rebounds, three assists for the Lakers.
And we knew Davis.
If he had a big Siri's, that it would be very tough for the Miami Heat to come back in this game.
But I mean 11 70 in this series.
I should say but 11 of 17 shooting from three that is just absolutely out of this world.
If the Lakers keep that up in the second half, forget about it.
Miami are gonna have this game out of reach in a second.
We'll see how the second half plays out.
I'll preview the second half for you after the break.
The halftime report continues in a moment.
65 48 Lakers on top of the half in Game one of the MBA finals.

That's what's to look forward to on Friday, but the focus right now.
Game one of the NBA Finals from the Orlando bubble.
Nine points for LeBron the half, but the rest of his team has stepped their game up 65 48 the Los Angeles Lakers leading the Miami Heat.
I get you out the second half action next year on SportsCastr don't go anywhere.
Third quarter on the way as we get you back out to the action in Game one of the 2020 MBA Finals.
Welcome back, everybody.
We're set for the third quarter of action.
Game one of the MBA finals, 65 48.
The Lakers in the lead over the Heat, is we're set for the start of the second half here on SportsCastr.
And what an end to that first half it was for the L A Lakers as they have a 17 point lead at the break, their largest lead of the night.
And it will be very intriguing to see how this third quarter gets underway.
Maybe that he could string together Iran and make it close again or on the other side.
If the Lakers take off early on the third quarter, this game could be put away quite quickly.
So the start to the third quarter is going to be absolutely crucial for both teams in their own aspect in their own aspect.
And so we get set for the second half, Game one from Orlando.
I appreciate you guys tuning into the broadcast.
Hope you are having a wonderful week.
We're almost at the end of the week.
We're getting there Tomorrow is my worst day in the cycle for school, but I'll get through it.
Look at the first half stats.
Miami shot 42% the Lakers 56%.
Look at the three point shooting.
Miami seven of 16.
Okay, that's pretty good.
The Lakers, though. 11 of 17.
That's very, very good Heat.
Start the half with possession, and here we go.
Jimmy Butler is out there to start the second half.
So luckily, that injury that looked like it could have been pretty bad doesn't seem to severe at all as Butler drives off the glass and in the foul committed by Howard and so right away to begin the third quarter butler with a three point play opportunity, he is still hobbling a little bit.
There's no way he's at 100% right now, Jimmy Butler, but he's giving it his best, which is all you can ask for him and, you know, in the n b A finals a competitive like Jimmy Butler, it's gonna take a lot to take him out of, Ah, big game like this.
He makes the free throw 65 51.
The score here is LeBron James over to Dwight Howard now into the hands of Anthony Davis Davis.
Guarded by Crowder.
He'll be kicked out to James deep.
Three. Good LeBron James.
Two for two from three and not a bad start to the second half for himself.
Tyler hero will take an open three.
Daniel Green with the rebound for L. A.
James ahead to Howard.
He's tightly guarded by Robinson.
Hand off to KCP inside to Dwight Howard, and they say the foul is on the floor.
Lakers will take it out of bounds 54 seconds into the third quarter.
First foul against Tyler Hero.
It goes into James come fake on the three.
Now it takes towards the corner, guarded by Jimmy Butler.
He'll back it out and reset shot clock at five.
James drives on Robinson.
A little hesitation and a free pair of free throws coming up as a foul is called.
This time it goes against Duncan Robinson.
You could tell from the very early stages of that possession that he was going to take the shot no matter what, and he earns himself a trip to the line.
But the first free throw is short second one rattles in, so the lead now is 18.
The Lakers just continue to add on to that lead as it expands more and more.
There is bam! Out of bio for Miami at a bile.
We'll hand it off to Crowder. Crowder.
The three? No, by the way, we are just getting word that Goran Dragic has a foot injury.
So he's in the locker room and Butler also clearly not 100% but still on the floor for Miami.
Not the best situation here for the Heat, though.
James, out to Davis Davis in the lane, nearly turned it over.
Picked up by Green, the three is up.
And then how about another three point make? The Lakers just will not cool down whatsoever from downtown, 72 51.
Now the lead here is Taylor hero over to the right wing into the hands of Jae Crowder, crowded the butler of the lead, 21 for the Lakers.
Here is now bam! Out of bio out of bio out to Jimmy Butler.
But what of the baseline shot clock to? To Butler quickly kicks it out.
Crowder's three is in as the shot clock expires.
Ah, huge bucket there for the Miami.
Now James will take it up Court the other way for the Lakers.
Green back to James.
Top of the key, guarded by Robinson.
Shot clock at five.
LeBron James on the move. To the corner.
Davis can't get the three offensive board.
Howard feeds Davis underneath and a foul on the dunk attempt.
Jae Crowder getting in the way.
And two free throws coming up for the for Anthony Davis, the Lakers just coming out with the same type of energy that they had at the end of the first half here at the the beginning of the second half, 9 24 left in the third quarter.
Second half just underway as Davis sinks the first free throw attempt.
Yeah, I'm pretty remarkable when you compare the two head coaches.
Erik Spoelstra 25th year with the Heat 12 as a head coach, the journey of Erik Spoelstra is just incredible.
You started out with the organization as there video editor or something along those lines.
This is to the corner with Green finally misses a three, but another offensive board.
Davis No good, but the follow up attempt is put in the Lakers just dominating the glass, and they're cruising here.
One left in the third and the lead is 22.
Anthony Davis making his presence felt and that's an understatement.
It's all Lakers in Game one of the MBA Finals and Anthony Davis is fired up.
You're watching Game one of the MBA Finals.
They actually continues after the break. Stay tuned.

The Lakers have their largest lead of the night 22 point advantage over the Heat.
Miami with plenty of work to do. LeBron James.
13 points under nine to go here in the third.
Maada Bio, guarded by Dwight Howard at a bio.
Hands it off to Robinson Robinson back to add a bio who is fouled by James.
The Heat will get the shot clock reset to 14 when it comes to all time playoff ranks for LeBron James.
He ranks first in minutes, points, wins, steals, second and three point field goals made in triple doubles and third and assists.
Just remarkable Tyler hero to Duncan Robinson.
Now it's into the hands of Jimmy Butler.
Shot clock at four.
Butler gets, um separation, puts up the three in and out and Dwight Howard there for the rebounds.
You come shames up the floor for the Lakers.
James on the move, lays it in.
It seems like James is only starting to get going, which is a scary prospect.
78 54 here into the corner.
Crowder's three is up no good at a bio with the offensive rebound swipe across the face from LeBron James and the foul is gone third foul against LeBron James and this one? Yep, still plenty of celebrities as virtual fans.

The virtual fans are making it a cool aspect, even though there's no fans allowed in person as Howard feeds Davis inside.

And that will have to do for my broadcast, folks.
