all right, we are in the building.
We are going truly tarps off today.
As you can see, eye to cool a tank top picked out.
It was Wu Tang because I wanted to kind of battlement loving because my glove, it had the cool tank on earlier.
And then I got home and I was doing some stuff around the sink and accidentally turned the water on too much.
And then it got all over me.
He's and I had to take my shirt off.
So anyway, name the website.
Just tarps are you don't know what it means.
So I figured Well, just go truly tarps off this this broadcast because I don't have another cool blue tank tank time.
I just throw on like that.
So So we're going arms off for the broadcasting ones.
I apologize for getting a little bit getting here a little bit later. I have been watching the game.
Columbus dominant thus far, just coming off a 55 on three advantage and somehow missed a couple of white ALS and chances.
So Vasilevskiy has been good, but so has, uh, his luck.
So we'll see what happens here. gain.
Three series is tied 11 I think the jackets kind of took some momentum in that last game.
The Lightning didn't have much going on, and, yeah, here the started.
This game so far, shots are 93 in favour of Columbus.
And yeah, it looks like we might be in store for more of the same year or so.
Yeah, we'll see what happens.
I want pumped. We got some more playoff hockey.
Um, I don't know if I got five overtime periods in me, but I probably got four AB, so as long as we don't go to 1/5 over time, we should be good, man.
So what happens in the commercial break here again? I apologize for a little bit late, but I have been watching the game while living kind of waiting for some of the technical stuff to get.
Iron Dome and Alex have been a good game so far.
Columbus is definitely carrying some momentum over from that last game where they look pretty dominant and I will see what happens here.
One thing I want to quit a quickly trek for the lightning and yet still no Stamkos.
So I don't mean the Lightning have a lot of offensive talent and obviously stand causes injury.
To what degree? We don't know.
Because of the the new bubble rules.
With Cove it they don't have toe, let us know what's going on.
But yeah, obviously this team is missing Stamkos confrontations right now, Hedman stressed.
In this game, Hedman's looking, you know, we're so different than you did prior Teoh, that kind of awkward, noncontact injury from a few games ago.
But, I mean, look, break in the overtime.
Being the 15 it's he didn't seem to have any issues whatsoever, So we'll see what happens here via Hedman.
Looks good, Stamkos.
Still not in the front of the line. The lineup.
It's Thank you, Kitty.
Kathy, 55 for that foam finger.
I wish I could take this anywhere, but yes, we'll see what happens here.
But yes, Stamkos could could certainly help his lightning team.
I mean, Korpisalo is playing absolutely incredible to serious so far, obviously had huge 86 80 Game one And you didn't didn't appear to be tired or anything in being too.
Anyway, face off.
Oh, we got a quick offside.
There So just over seven minutes to go in the first period.
So let me get the puck, shoot it down and Eccles right on that they're Korpisalo actually made a nice, nice pass to center.
There again, the Lightning dump it down.
Corpus always playing it behind the net.
Murray is the head of De Boer who gets in and over the blue line.
Try to clear it and just get it over the blue line point.
Now we're committed around the Nazis on his backhand stops at the circle, and they give it away in the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Have a three on two of thinking hurry, and that's gonna be offside there.
One thing I did notice in Game two, the Jackets obviously were able to get some goals.
Ah, their power play was working, but I noticed that they weren't very good at getting into the zone.
So a lot of times when they tried to break into the zone, they would get caught up at the blue line and either coming off side or they expect to get disrupted by the Lightning.
But yeah, the jackets have noticed all series Long had a hard time getting the blue line So behind the Nexavar trying to clear it.
But Maroon comes up with it, puts them behind the net, goes back to the point shot, ends up by going wide there my shot occurred.
Sure gets a shot on that there.
Vasilevskiy is able to get that gather car Takes a big Sean tackles wide as well, So shots are 10 to 4 in favor of Columbus.
So the lightning have been hectoring corpus, All those shots, all Siri's.
But this first period has been a different story.
They did have any a five on three disadvantage.
So that obviously will affect how many shots you get on.
But yeah, Columbus coming out much more aggressive in this first period.
And I was a good save by Modzeleski.
They're actually had a chance of getting up on him there.
So we're gonna have another commercial break, alright? And just hanging out with you guys do this, Tough it out together.
So, yeah, if you missed the beginning of the broadcast, so yeah, Gentlemen from the soft network lovin he was streaming earlier.
Get this cool tank top on and I was like All, man, I got a cool tank talk.
I'm gonna wear that.
I've been wearing it all day, and then right before I go on stream, I was doing something in the kitchen and I turned the water on, and I thought I was turning it off.
I'm in a new place and I went the wrong way, and I actually turned the water, like, way up.
So it was an rooms. Like a fountain.
Yes, but I hear toe wary.
So I had Teoh just go tarps off for the broadcast.
I think it was fitting.
So I know how much longer Alaska, the A C icy cold in this room.
That's why the camera is above my nipples.
Right? So I can't wait for the rest of this game.
I also can't wait for my shirt too dry, but it first world problems, right? We got some or NHL playoff hockey.
It feels weird even just saying that out loud still.
I mean, I'm very thankful for it.
Don't get me wrong, but it's I still can't believe that we're we're here watching hockey, like a few weeks ago that just I don't know, even though you knew they were ramping up for this and they said it was gonna happen.
I think a lot of us still were kind of weird about it.
This would go down or not.
But here we are, So so to harass, opted out of the Stanley Cup playoffs, to return home and be with family.
I have a lot of feelings on that.
Most of them are negative, to be honest.
I mean, I told me, understand? Thanks, Dan.
56 for the word.
So I appreciate that and actually we are getting back into the action, so I will call the game.
But afterwards I'll let you know how I feel about the two harassed situation, because that is, that is a big topic in the NHL arena.
But I don't want I don't want to talk over the game by giving you the agony and have somebody come down and score bulls, as that happens to me every time, I don't call the game.
So so Folino, working in the neutral zone here, backhands it in and late and come up with a big ocean.
Big Bogosian flips it to center and jackets came up with momentarily with the lightning steel that we've a two on one And oh, what a beauty Colborne keep What did I just say? I just said if I talk about Rask, somebody's gonna score.
So who I think you kept out himself? That was beautiful.
So cerulean color on the two on one cologne.
Oh, Korpisalo thought he was going past on the backhand.
Oh, that was so smooth.
I mean, oh, good for Korpisalo to be kind of, you know, it looked like he was already trying to get across on that and nine times out of 10 That is what a player is going to do in that situation.
That's what I was such a kind of an odd looking play live.
That was a sweet gold Michael Oren.
That was an amazing heads up play from not to pass into shooting that situation.
So just over four minutes to go, the jackets were all over the lightning and now we take a look shots only 10 8 I mean, lightning, not a goal.
And they're trying to take Mo mentum back here.
I'll tell you what I really thought after that game to that Columbus had a decent chance of kind of just taking over the Siri's.
But And here we go point coming in.
And that's articles over the over the boards looking at a replay here and yeah, cool.
Lauren and I can't.
I'm gonna watch this goal off three times.
Oh, that's just for people who are watching us, who might not understand why Korpisalo didn't Like I said nine times out of 10 a player is gonna pass over to the guy who has the open net there, and Korpisalo fully expected that.
Two and a lord made the heads up last second decision just to put it on net instead.
That was beautiful.
Seen a lot of beauty goals in the in the series that I've been covering.
I'm covering this syriza's well, that's the ST Louis Blues in Vancouver, Canucks for time south hockey dot i lucked out.
Other than that first, I mean, I had a lot of fun during that first game.
Jack from the black and gold podcast was hanging out with me all day.
That helped a lot, but it was a good game.
Don't get me wrong, but I mean, I also would have been OK with having, you know, four hours of my day to do some other stuff.
But playoff hockey is, uh is worth it.
So that face off its center here, about 3.
5 to go in this first period.
And yet Columbus and in the first half of the period, they were pretty dominant there, five on three advantage.
At one point, they did miss a wide open net on the power play, and that might come back to bite them.
So the Lightning get it over the blue line. But it's intercepted.
Murray now gets it ahead, and they're coming in with speed.
And like I said earlier, guys like as you saw there, like the Jackets, they're just not very good at getting the blue line like there.
They gained the blue line and they just gave the puck right away because guys were going off side rather than just like skating in as a unit.
Okay, like Tortorella's a great coach, but I'm surprised by how bad Columbus has been a game with light all series long.
I got that some very basic stuff.
You learn what you're very young and Columbus has been very bad battle serious, but we'll see what happens even in even even the school.
Like regardless of that.
But still that watch Columbus every time they try to gain the blue line and somebody is almost offside every time, if not offside, you're gonna whistle down the jacket zone here and they're just looking at the goal one more time.
Gotta face off in the lightning zone and jackets.
When the face ocular back to the point, Quick shot is blocked and in a shoot it around Now Tampa Bay's back to retrieve it, though Hedman has it, brings a note and Folino steals along the boards.
He backs hand to do okay in the neutral zone here, and Shattenkirk picks it up.
He brings it in over the blue line and jackets were able to clear their zone.
Circuit Chef is back.
So just over a minute and 20 seconds left here in the first, just the one goal so far by the Lightning Jack.
Oh, Jack, I don't even see you sneak in, man.
Only you come in guns blazing.
Seth Jones playing it sent Jones, and you can't say enough about that guy.
I was a fan of his before this Siri's And before game one after game after game One story, I want to call the game five because of the five overtimes after Game 1 may not so much respect for him and risky brings it in and and Shaq gets a deflected goes off the glass was going to clear their zone there in the lightning.
Slip it out now, and both teams are gonna change.
Kabakov was trying to milk it for icing there, but not happening there.
And we have a whistle here.
So just under 15 seconds to go, we'll see what happens here.
But it looks like the lightning are gonna go with the, uh, go to the room with a one goal lead.
Okay? Yeah, that too could I'm gonna get to it as soon as the first period and someone give my two cents on the So Savard off the draw there and he flips it in but lightning to slip it back out the other way.
And 321 So that's gonna do it for the first period here, kind of Ah, I mean a tale of two periods in the first half was all.
Columbus had all kinds of chances, missed a wide open net, had a five on three advantage.
And then last half.
I mean, the late game kind of got some momentum back there getting pucks on it on.
And obviously they had that great goal.
So the Lightning have a one.
Nothing lead, and they have the momentum going into the second standards.
So we'll see what happens.
And I am not president to because I thought to be honest.
I mean, I know this is going a little crazy, but after watch in Game two, I didn't know if Tampa was gonna have much for this Columbus de, especially without stand calls.
I think obviously they're talented offensive team with her without stand close.
But I think, uh, I think having him would would help.
I mean, so I mean, how can you say it wouldn't help but R.
C? That would depend his health, but yeah, So we do have a commercial break in progress, and we are now first intermission, so definitely gonna have some downtime, but yeah, What? I will what I will do in the meantime, right now is obviously a big topic.
Is the two harassed situation right? So, I mean, the way that I feel about it.
I mean, I don't know if this might rub some people the wrong way, but you don't care.
Whatever tired South hockey, we're not trying to be tsn SportsNet.
We're not trying to please everybody.
We give our opinion.
And you did You like it? You know So with the to grasp news, I think it's bull**** straight up Ah, a lot.
They're trying to make it a mental health issue, were assigned it.
I'm sorry, it has nothing to do with that.
And if it did, didn't been bringing up like that, you know? I mean, it's different If nobody's gonna clown a guy for saying, Hey, you know what? I have some serious personal issues.
I really need to deal with.
Um and I have to attend to them or even Hey, you know what I have Ah, a family matter that I need to attend to.
So that's more important.
That's not what he said.
And that's not what's being said with being said is, Oh, I missed my family and I'm sorry.
That's just not acceptable.
I mean, I'm sure everybody else in the bubble misses their family.
Everybody knew what they were signing up for.
This is a guy who wasn't having fun.
He thought it was gonna be fun in the bubble.
For some reason. I don't know.
I guess I guess he thought it wasn't gonna feel like work or whatever.
I mean, the guy gets paid 7.
5 $1,000,000 to be a professional athlete.
And if you if you can't have $75 million isn't enough for you to think that you owe it to your team, that tough it out, then I don't know what to tell you, man.
And again, this is based on it not being anything other than this is a guy who they didn't play well.
And he's like, You know what? This is hard.
I liked life a lot better a few months ago when I just got to sit around the house on the couch and I didn't have any responsibilities.
And you know what? I can understand that, but just come out and say it.
Make it over. He's a family man. don't boo.
So is everybody else.
So for me, Rask quit on his team.
Point blank period.
I wouldn't want him on my team.
I'll tell you why.
And, uh, yeah, I know That's how I feel about like I like I said it earlier on Twitter, like it's hockey or Sorry, Is your family more important hockey tenanted 10 times, of course.
But like when you commit to do something and then it's harder than you thought it would be.
So then you're like, Oh, I missed my family.
Guys, I'm just gonna bail like that's bull****.
Even if you felt like you didn't have what it took up here to play and you're going through something, you go to your coach and you say, Hey, man, you know what? I'm just not in it right now.
All sit on the bench.
I want to support this team.
I'm gonna cheer you guys on.
Well, right now, our best chance to win is with that guy.
That's the honorable thing to do.
Did you say Oh, you know what? I miss my family. I'm dipping.
And now you're gonna bail on your team, cause that's exactly what it is because let's say he did have some kind of mental health issue going on.
Whatever he doesn't want people to know.
OK, then you know what? You pull us trainer side you go Him And you know what? I really don't want to play.
I don't want to get into it.
But look what we just say. I got it.
I tweaked my knee or something.
Everything is not disclosed in the bubble, so they could have easily covered it up and said, Holy, you know what? Don't out and I will see you have an injury.
You can sit on the bench, the rest of it.
But that's not what happened.
He went home because he didn't want to be here.
He didn't want support, esteem.
He wanted to go home.
This isn't This isn't a men try.
I'll talk about.
I have anxiety and depression.
We could talk about this all day.
I'll talk about why I believe that.
What? I think it has nothing to do with that because as somebody who has, we think there's certain ways you a gold boat stuff that doesn't make sense.
There's a guy who admitted a couple days ago that he wasn't having fun.
You're not supposed to have fun.
You're supposed to stop pucks.
That's why you get paid 7.
5 $1,000,000 a year to stop pucks.
It's not toe have fun and to listen to the crowd.
That's not what you get paid that it to harass work for free.
I wouldn't care. I wouldn't say any of this.
But when you make a much money as you do and you think it's OK to go on, I'm sad.
I'm gonna go home cause I miss my family. That's a joke.
So I have no respect for to grasp after today.
And it's not like, Oh, well, we'll find out for later.
No, he's a public figure.
He makes a lot of money, and the way they probably and a lot of something was going on is you just say, Hey, he has a serious matter that he has to advantage the fact that nobody is coming out saying and the narrative is only misses his family tells me everything I need to know.
Tech to harassment to summer camp got homesick.
Boo ****ing hoo! That's my two cents.
Take your leave it.
Judging by a few people that just let the chat, someone chose to leave.
Yeah, I don't care.
We're tired of being don't.
Like I said, we're not trying to told a lie.
We're not trying to make everybody happy.
That's how I feel.
I feel like he was a chicken**** move and was a chicken**** move.
You just agree you're allowed.
So we got the first intermission here.
We're going truly tarps off.
As explained earlier, I had a cool tank picked out to battle make loving because he had a cool tank car.
And I'm like, All right, we're school starts off.
I guess so here we are.
Eso Yeah, I was I keep talking about tarps off.
I would remind you to check out some of the other boys on the site here without tarps out Bugsy tarps off MK 11 and Chrisman Kruzel, the CEO himself.
So go ahead, check those boys.
Oh, uh, check out tarps off hockey dot net for the latest heart coverage.
And go ahead and go to my bookie dot g And use our promo code for double your deposit the entire month.
August up to $1000.
So then you're gonna throw some money down on the game anyway, that's what issues are promo code and places my money just makes sense.
Uh, yeah, pretty much sells itself.
So I'll tell you what.
I'm gonna hang out for another couple minutes, then we'll probably, uh, take a little break for the intermission.
Get right back into this game one.
Nothing in favour of the lightning.
And again, Yeah.
I can't see how surprised I am that the lightning actually are showing some fight in.
Yeah, I just think Columbus, after that game, Teoh I just thought they really took the momentum and the lightning just couldn't get a lot going.
And I mean, it's frustrating when almost every time you shoot, it gets deflected or goes over the boards.
Or like, I can't imagine the frustration that all the offensive players on the lightning fuel right now.
I mean, these are guys that are used to kind of doing what they want in the offensive end and in Columbus is on a pretty good job of keeping them in check.
I mean, they still been able to get a decent amount of shots on net, but like that's more.
That's even more impressive.
Because if you've been watching the Siri's, you know how many shots have been blocked by the Blue Jackets? I mean, they seem to get a stick on everything.
A lag on everything.
It's so it must be a very, very frustrating team to try and play right now.
So shadow to the Blue Jackets.
Because I actually gained a lot of respect for me over the last couple games in the way they've been able Teoh effectively shut down the Lightning offense with.
Obviously, you can't say enough about that guy.
Just amazing over these first couple games, so see what happens.
So, uh, yeah, so I don't know.
It's talking head time on the TV, so I don't know they're going to do their thing.
I'm just going to take a quick five minute break and then I'll be right back with guys, So thank you for joining.
Yeah, I'll be right back in literally five minutes.
Okay? And I think we're back.
Yeah, we're back.
Okay, so I just had to make a couple quick phone calls.
We are back and we are ready for the second period here.
Tampa Bay Lightning series is tied 11 It's a big game.
Big. Begin here.
And, uh, yeah, we'll see what happens again.
I said it earlier.
I'm surprised that you have the lightning of come up and looked as good as they did.
I thought that after last game, I thought Columbus basically took control of the Siri's. I thought they took moment.
Um, I thought that Tampa Bay looked a little flat.
I thought surrogates have has looked tired ever since, like the third overtime of the first game.
But yet this g putting him out there in important situations.
I'm very surprised that temple we have a, uh oh, nothing right now The jackets, Heidi, if I want three early.
Missed some very, very, very good chances.
Yeah, I think that that's gonna come back to bite him.
So see, what happened in this series? I hope everybody's having a wonderful Saturday night Big, big, big plans night.
Anybody going clubbing after the game or what do people like us that's allowed? Has anybody like Oh, no, negative, really.
Not a whole lot of places You can kind of gold nowadays.
And this year in a place where, like, I don't know, You guys have, like, social gatherings in that, But for most people, that is not the case.
So just waiting for the second period to get started here in case you missed it earlier.
Reason why I'm going Tark's off.
I mean, it is the Web site, but I do have a specific reason as well.
I had a cool tank top.
I was trying to like, you know, match up with make love and make 11.
Whose tarps off MK 11 on the site here, You know, I mean, he had the cool tank.
You can have, like, battling tanks.
And then I got my shirt ruling, so All right, pocket.
We're just not gonna wear a shirt.
So we are. Time saw, Phoebe.
You don't never, never get a chance.
The best hockey coverage on planet Earth.
And if you're interested in the Bruins specific news, go and check out the black and gold hockey park.
Oh, they always treat me.
I always think we're just about to get back on the ice like hold on. Wait.
We got to tell you a couple more things we think might happen before the game.
That's arm I'm like, No, I don't care.
I really want to just watch it.
That's something I have, like almost no patients for, like all the extra ****ysis anymore.
I don't know if I'm just used to I used to Netflix and everything else now because of this, uh, this cold, it break.
I'm like, yeah, anything like anything extra other than just the game.
My All right, So here we go.
We're finally getting back some hockey.
The second period of game three.
You ever want nothing? Tampa Bay lead and the series is tied at one.
Vasilevskiy closed down.
Uh, easy attempt to there.
Yeah, we had a pretty good game Two in this series game Three more excitement face off in the lightning zone and that's one by the jackets and shackles wide and then comes back in the vast Dyleski's able to cover it before I do, boss.
Able to really get a poke at it, The absolute shock goes just wide, but yeah, Vasilevskiy wasn't paying attention that could have easily bounced off and went in so good.
Play there by massive Meskhi.
Yeah, God among us.
Right on the skate.
You covered it quick as a new ball was coming in The book that in and lightning Win the faceoff back Try to flip it up the boards and go jin over to Hedman.
I mean, look great.
The Siri's nothing new there.
And Edmunds the one pinching and deep here cologne with it along the boards.
Cologne at a beauty goal in the first.
If you miss that, uh, but they give it back to the jackets and jackets.
Air coming in though.
Cirelli over the Hedman having gets pinned into the boards.
And Edmunds battling there had it taken from a momentarily.
But stay strong on the puck.
It's really now gets it in over the blue line and lightning are gonna change.
That's Korpisalo, Please.
That varinsky okay, gives it to Jones, who gets up ended, and the lightning take it there in the zone here.
Point gets it back to the demand that she was blocked.
Comes on the point again, looking to make something happen here reading points exciting every time he gets the puck on a stick, man.
I love watching employed Donald gets in deep and uh oh, sure, that kind of misplayed the pump there and the jackets and a three on one as a result, and and no mistake made on that one that's arriving.
Nash coming in and you just decides to keep it and puts it exactly where he needs to.
Yep, just over the glove of ass.
Unless he wolf, that was a great shot, thereby Riley Nash.
So we have a 11 game, and this is shaping up to be a good one here, packets pinching in but the Lightning or back the other way.
Now, linesmen Wings off icing Maroon with that extra effort, is able to keep the puck in the zone circuit champ with a bad shot.
Old couple of a couple players bumped into each other look like conceit, who was with Tampa player.
Looked like they might have gone head first into the boards there, but you to be okay now Marooned, trying to work it in, holding him off.
Korpisalo comes up with it a little, a little bit of, uh, a little bit of rough stuff in front of the net now.
You have a room here, hold him off and then gets it out front.
Yeah, but cattle isn't too happy about the the headlock in the subsequent loss of his helmet.
He wasn't really into that.
I probably wouldn't like getting my bucket ripped off either.
Do boys like circuit time? You look exhausted.
Like what you're doing.
I can tell how tired you are.
So faceoff relating his own are starting the jacket zone. My apologies.
Who drive? I've been going on there.
Jones plays it around Gawronski and the jackets get it to center, and I quit.
It's an intercepted, thereby a Kucherov.
He's got point with him and jackets end up with it on and give away there.
Nyquist to a great first game in the series.
Yeah, I couldn't quite get a shot on that there And calling that off side.
There's a Tampa Bay player.
Brought that back in, asked it to his defenseman.
Oh, you're penalty. Okay.
He's gonna say I'm like that's not offside It all with the Tampa Bay player just passed it back over his own blue line.
That's not offside.
So they're calling Hedman for a hook on Nyquist on that, since there actually and that's that's a pretty logical you can't do that.
Now we're going to have a five on four advantage here, and this is a big moment right here in the game, potentially so and a five on three earlier that they were not able to score on.
And they had a wider When I say wide open like it was gaping like it was like, Hey, please fill me with something and they're like, Now we're good.
We're gonna shoot it off the side of the net.
So no goal for the jackets on that 1st 1 and doesn't like getting anyone here, either, as the lightning habit in their zone and they're the ones getting shots on net.
So corpus, our toes in the trap is a way to play it.
And Woz bring it up and they're gonna try to break out.
Now he's over center Nyquist, who just, uh, drew the penalty guard along the boards there and Bogosian comes up with it, goes and stops and fires it around the boards Jackets, though intercepted at their blue line and they're back the other way Now.
Nyquist got a couple guys in front, but Great head's up play, either.
By Cerulean and again, the Lightning are able to clear their zone.
So about 45 seconds to go in the power play for the Blue Jackets.
Who knew you could do much with it? And Coleman for the Lightning back the other way? And he kind of does, you know, similar, similar thing to happen, to pass it along with what we kind of went off that back forward and was hoping to get him on the way back.
Next able Teoh disrupt the play there.
15 seconds to go here.
The jackets do of the zone, Folino to the corner.
Food is there, but the lightning room to get it and they clear it.
So another unsuccessful power play for the Jackets here today.
Gawronski bringing it up and circuits have ends up with it.
Gives it overhead.
And then I had to Kuchar off looking for point.
It's going to take it back and they're gonna reset.
Who drive? Trying to get indeed great backhand pass there.
There's a lot, but he lost it momentarily.
And then by the time you went to shoot, Savarin was right on.
And that's something that I mean, with these jackets, you can't get much time to get in front of, because as soon as they do, they're gonna get a stick, escape something on that park.
So it's gonna get deflected, and it's gonna go.
Where so, Donna, 11 Aim here.
14 minutes, 22 seconds to go in the second period.
12 to 10 in favor of the Blue Jackets and one time or right off the draw.
But Savard's they will get a piece of that.
So, really, he's getting tired up by Savar and we're gonna have another penalty here.
And that's gonna be on the Blue Jackets as CA Lauren was a time to get the puck there.
Held up a little bit there by Weinberg.
So we are going to get a power play for the Lightning now.
Tortorella doesn't like that, but toward really, literally like anything, Let's be real.
Surrogates have has it down low a lot at the Circle year.
He goes down to the corner, get to the circuits have at the point circuit Judge throws it on.
And Korpisalo was able to come up with that snagged with the glove.
So another face off deep in the Columbus Zone here and circuits have at the point I hate I hate this camera angle, man.
I know a lot of people like it drives me nuts.
It's like I'm in the nosebleeds.
Whoever said amen you know would be cool if I could watch the game like I was in the worst seats in the arena would be really awesome.
I hate that angle.
So Lauren, who had a goal earlier, working along the boards circuits have has it, and he hesitated.
And that might've item by the time you nobody knows where the pockets.
Wow, literally nobody on the ice.
And we're that park one, including the linesman.
So circuits have shoots it and yeah, I don't like Hello.
Went off. Caloric was jumping.
I think it was a bad plane by search. Other search.
I've had a great chance to get a shot off.
Instead, he waited until we had guys in front of him. That's frustrating.
I think circuit chips had a bad serious so far.
But especially like you know, how this Columbus team is.
If you give him time, they're gonna get sticks and bodies in front.
So circuit time had a wide open shot, and he's like, No, I'm gonna bring it in a few steps like this anywhere.
So minute left in the power play here and head man gets it in over the blue line jackets are able to get a photo, and Hedman has to take it back.
Polina was pressuring him and you come relating.
Oh, are you kidding me? Oh, my God.
Well, Tyler Johnson just have to save the day.
Hedman with a brutal drop out.
I don't know if that was a miscommunication on Tyler Johnson's part or what, but that was one of that was insane.
They almost just gave fully know a goal there.
But they're able to hold on to it.
And they do have it now in the Columbus Zone.
Johnson to the point.
Hedman now gets it on.
And Ackles, Why Tyler Johnson back to Hedman again.
Blocked John Single recovers again.
He's in the circle.
Gives it some room behind the net.
try to center it.
Gord, Who's been all around the net? This Siri's Gord shoots it around back and the room is there, waiting for using his big body.
You say in front jackets get away.
But lighting are able to keep it implicate.
Here is it back to Shattenkirk Shattenkirk shot on and Gavin Cough is feeling that right now.
Maroon back to Hedman and old that got through But it went wide beat Korpisalo but could not keep it within the posts Yeah, Korpisalo didn't see that after the deflection, but again went went wide and again I mean, the lightning are keeping the pressure on the power play ended about a minute ago, but they've been able to keep it in the blue jacket zone.
And finally the jackets were able to get a whistle and a much needed change there.
So we're gonna go to commercial break with just over 11 minutes to go in the second period.
We got beauty game going on.
Yeah, just in case you guys are watching the broadcast it all.
So what happened was heading was breaking out on the power play and he went to drop it back to Johnson, but Johnson was like, I don't even know he wasn't even on the screen.
And if Alina almost like if if Alino gets that puck, I mean, he's got a one on one with Vassilis.
But yeah, they're able Teoh able to recover it.
So see, we'll see what happens.
It's more commercial action here.
Everybody joining in on SportsCastr here.
Me and the rest of the starts off hockey team are fairly new to the ad.
We're having fun with it, man.
I'm a lot of cool people on here.
A lot of Ah, a lot of cool like SportsCastrs, too.
Yeah, it's been That's been, overall, a very positive experience for me and the rest of the tarps off game.
If you're interested in hockey coverage.
Tarps off, Bugsy! Tarps off McLovin! Chris Mancuso! There also on SportsCastr here.
I'm trying to find out who.
Yeah, I don't know.
I put a message out of the group chatter.
He's taking Vegas.
I obviously I'm here, so I can't do that.
This is my Siri's to cover.
I'm covering the jackets and the lightning.
I'll be here for a song is a Siri's goes on, these games will be covering as well as the blues and conduct.
So if your family, any of those teams, feel free to check in with me on SportsCastr, I usually check in a few minutes into the first period, sometimes a little bit later if I'm having technical issues or if, like, I need a pizza or something before you jump on Riley Nash.
I feel bad for man.
Must be tough having that last even Columbus man.
That's a lot to devote no matter what anybody says, like I'm so it's just a just a nod thing to happen.
To have the same last name was the best player in franchise history and that somebody has somebody else in mind for the best player in Columbus franchise history.
I'm willing to listen.
So Santarelli and Nash taking the figure? What did I say? Santarelli.
My about. So really.
I seeing as McDonough picks up the puck, Texi 80 gets it back and then passing the DEA's intercepted and that ends up getting flipped over the boards as we take a look at Seth Jones there.
Oh, now we're looking at the text.
Oh, you can win a game.
You stick if you text text to 37664 So try and open that.
Have to be pretty cool to get like a steak that they used in game.
That's a pretty cool little piece of memorabilia.
Tohave and jackets win the faceoff.
But to get back to the Lightning and they have numbers and coo draw gloves it down in front.
But Korpisalo is there Korpisalo sharp as always.
You kind of got handcuffed on the first goal.
It was it is a tool.
It was basically a two on done by the time call Lauren made his move around the man and then the corpus.
I just assumed that he was gonna pass it for the wide open shot and instead he just made kind of, ah, kind of just a nice, nifty little backhand that looked like it was gonna be a pass.
And you just put it into the short side.
There was a pretty cool So another face off here and the lightning win it back.
So you get shot and Hedman are out there together.
Hedman's pinching in neath the goal line.
Jack, it's working. It along the boards.
Savard slips into center, where circuits have isn't backhands of rating or bazaar low and the jackets air out.
Do you want to hear? Nyquist and all the lighting are able to get a man back before? Excuse me before the Jackets could get anybody else go in.
The jackets were changing, so they only had the two forwards there.
But we have an interception now and you come the jackets.
All of eight heads up.
Play there by Sharm Kurt Shand Creek bats the past down and call me, Puts it the other way and yours point.
Always dangerous with Nash with a great defense play there, you flips it in his own Folino.
Oh, no, McDonough like and get it over temporarily with the jacket shooting right back in.
Nick Dunne is there to play, and they're getting set up here.
So lightning gain the Columba Zone.
Don't along aboard Quick shot on that Korpisalo saw that Yani Gore and Korpisalo gets a shock.
Sorry he was able to stop the shot there that just cost room had been at the point shackles wide Henman again and oh, that's not generate.
It was loosened from my foot Lady were not able to pick it up.
We get a shot from a gun and Korpisalo sees that so we may get another whistle here.
So the lightning are keeping the pressure on.
They're certainly trying to get another goal.
Your butt, Korpisalo And, uh, and the jackets Defense air.
Just able Teoh, you know, like so it doesn't get deflected and go.
Then you got Corpus, Arlo.
Who's I mean? It's hard as you could be right now, so I think about their work cut out for them, but yeah, I got a one.
Now we have a 21 game, so he might take her on.
My end is also refreshes See if that works.
Um, yeah, it's 11 will be OK.
I go to I try to rely on the ticker in the streams.
Actually, tell me the score.
How don't you know? Okay, so another commercial break who I love commercials, man walking love commercial So much.
I wish there was even sports on.
I wish uses commercials and then every, like, 15 minutes or so they just showed, like, a few minutes of sports.
I would actually prefer that.
Obviously, I'm full of ****.
I'm just trying to trick myself into enjoying these commercial breaks and we're back.
All right, so here comes off the war.
Are you hitting me? Like Corpus? Silo is needed.
Human like this is not fair.
This guy is ridiculous, man.
Like, just unreal.
Man. That was such a great save.
Like, yeah, late making. Got there.
There were cut off from here.
One by the jacket is Savard works around.
Nash had the goal a few minutes ago to tie the game here.
Bogosian, now playing it for the Lightning, gets it up to Cologne.
Who had the goal for the Lightning, and Korpisalo plays it to the boards.
Oh had been pinching in.
And you Bois, working on the outside, tries to center.
If Decca was just outside the blue line, Sabar does fire it back in and the jacket still have his own here.
Taxi again, Indeed.
Your ex transferred up a little bit there and Murray throws it on.
Why? And so really coming back the other way.
Now you dumps it into the lightning, you're gonna change.
So Murray gets it ahead and the Jackets are trying to work a little button that, and they get up to the boards over two circuits have, and he gets it.
And, oh, a nice wrap around there.
But Korpisalo stayed with it the whole way, and the Jackets are back the other way.
Foodie, working down low and a cat can't come up with its for the Jackets.
Keep it in his own, actually get a quick shot on Vasilevskiy.
That's unless he plays the part behind the net and Maroon has it.
That center there flips it in, but it was right on the jacket stick and no icing there.
So, like you have to play it.
Circuits have takes ahead and keeps moving.
Young board was being all over the head.
I know I keep saying, but that guys don't matter.
It's only a matter of time before Gore has, like, a two goal game because he is all over the net.
I actually thought he was the guy who was gonna end up scoring the overtime goal for the Lightning if they did win and we get a nice and call here as McDonald's back to pick that up.
So either these teams would love to the goal heading into the second intermission.
Try to steal some momentum heading into the final final period.
A good chance off the dry in the rebound.
Two point and point is always dangerous.
Man, that guy's got a watching and ends up with the rebound.
He makes no mistakes.
So the Tampa Bay Lightning gonna get a goal right after I say, Yeah, they would love to get one going into the third and they got one there.
So the lightning Yeah, nothing Korpisalo can do their makes the initial save.
They want to draw, get it over to the demon and then, yeah, points right there.
And he makes an almost eight.
And when you get a wide open net like that, you gotta be very them.
Uh, even went off the skate of erecting ski.
That was the key.
Yeah, that doesn't go off Gransky.
That would have cleared, but that's what happens.
So point puts the lightening up by a goal.
And at one point in this game, jackets room shooting the Lightning 93 shots are 19 to 12 now in favor of the lightning.
So this game has turned right around as Faras, the Who's been the aggressors and who's getting pucks on net and point again, picks it up and he's got four jackets around him, but he's trying to work.
Something gets ready to make.
Donna McDonough gets a shot on in.
Korpisalo gives up the rebound, but, uh, they're able to get on Lee to the line is point.
Oh, set up a one timer and quote.
USAA was able to see it, and he stops that with a great shift from breaking point.
Their A plus all around.
And he, uh, he buries the varies a goal and then sets up another couple of scoring chances directly after that.
So I love to see that from my breaking point, by the way, he makes what, like about $4 million less than Mitch Marner this year.
Is that right? Just saying just saying.
And he's actually in the playoffs, you know, just saying I just said, That's martyrs at home right now.
Just saying, I think that that Mitch Marner contractors and atrocity and is ultimately what handcuffed the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Moving forward, trying.
The police are gonna be like one of the world's teams in the league in a few years, unless they just completely changed the direction they're headed in.
But they went from being with the most promising young teams to a team that is completely cap strapped, who can't even they can't even make the playoffs when you like.
They can't even win the fake playoff series just to make it to the playoffs.
Like this team is so far from being even remotely decent, it's a joke.
And so every time I watched like the Lightning and I see you got a breaking point, who, you know, I mean get paid significantly less than corner, it just It just makes me laugh.
Because as somebody who lives in the Toronto area and as somebody who supported the Leaves for many years, there are garbage franchise astronomy believes, are the worst run franchise in sports and have been for a very, very long time.
The only franchise that or worse, like the Sacramento Kings and like some other teams that we already know are complete jokes.
But the Toronto Maple leaves are the worst run organization in professional sports and it's not it's it's just whatever.
It's fun to see.
It's fun to watch, like meanness.
It's a beautiful thing to see, because I mean, it would be the Leafs going up against you know, But anyway, anyway, great point is a much better conflict than Mitch Marner.
Just say so back to the game.
Five minutes to go in the second.
Big shot advantage.
Now for the Lightning. They've been coming on strong.
Tyler Johnson loses the face off and jackets get it in D and that's gonna be nice.
That's no good by two.
If you missed it earlier, I was saying that I wasn't planning on going.
Tarps offer broadcast, but I mean, it is getting hard done that.
But yeah, I play at a cool tain tank top on.
I wanted to show up the glove because 11 had a cool tank top on his stream.
But everyone still water on this one starts off, baby.
All right, Victor happen at the point here, and that gets deflected up to the neutral zone like get it back in.
But he either team really getting control.
Oprescu trough now gains the blue line a lot can't get it, but the jackets give it away and Web nursery Hedman That Shaka was one point just scored a moment ago and all We have a turnover and texi a get strong, but he shoots it.
Why? I took a big slap shot in Ackles wide.
That's the risk you take sometimes going for the big clapper when you're on the break.
But, uh, yeah Texi a had a decent chance there.
Shattenkirk moves it ahead.
And Shankar Kins of getting caught.
Jack is coming, and now they shoot around.
So really clears in.
And Johnson, that was a great saucer pass.
And Johnson with a beautiful trying to pass, though from what was tied up.
Yeah, that was a great passers came right down on Tyler.
Stick from a couple lines back, So flipped it way up in their technical.
Called it a saucer path.
You know, I was more like a, uh it was more like an elevator passport, Whatever.
Hommen shat Kirk and then over to surrogates have But riding Nash blocks the shot, they sent it down and we got an icing.
And that was kind of a lazy, lazy place there.
And I've noticed that a lot of the bubble out officers guys were rusty.
Or if refs are just more on it, there are some of the lights when I should say they're just calling things a little closer, but a number of times where teams are just doing the dumping change and they they're not clearing the center line.
The on the lines were going, Yeah, we could go right back the other way.
Boys like we're not letting you get away a little.
A little lazy line changes, so we've done a ends up.
But off the draw, that shot trickles wide Gord trying to get a good role.
But he's bounced off the puck cold and down, though, as well.
Gord gets it to the point shot on there, and Corpus on was able to stop.
That rebound was cleared by the Jackets and Donna ahead.
And here's Gore gaining the line.
Korpisalo turns out away of the blocker shot along the boards there.
Oh, the Bucks on the side of the net.
We gotto got some rough stuff, but ultimately no goal.
And I don't think we're going to see any penalties from this exchange here.
Yeah, that kind of handcuffed except Jones and Korpisalo there.
Korpisalo has been so sharp this year's Yeah, the combination of Korpisalo and I mean the the Jackets d just able to get their sticks of Ander forwards to.
Of course I mean closing in on demand.
And, yeah, get a steak, a leg, an arm on everything.
So, working back to the point cough drops, point comes up with it along the boards.
He's there with polite, Uh, the jackets were able to clear their zone.
Bogosian backhands in and Korpisalo Zotto gather car gives it over to some R and O.
A nice play that there intercepted just as they get over the blue line room, gets it over, Hedman has to play around.
And that cleared the lines.
That's gonna be a delete offside.
So waiting up to clear their zone.
And we have a minute and 15 seconds to go in the second here to one lightning and winner of this game is going to take a 21 Siri's advantage.
Oh, a great shot there, right in the slot and we have a goal.
It was that Hedman looked like what was happening.
See what happens here Yeah, Hedman.
Oh, yeah, Just right at the top of the slide there, the fourth man to join the rush there.
And I was a great great heads up play by Hedman.
And you see the key there is Hedman.
As soon as the puck was on a stick, he shot it because of York.
Strand was right there.
And if you give your extreme another half a second, you would turn around and put a stick on.
This is something I've been saying over the last couple of games on Norris is the Lightning players.
Some times they hold it for a second or two before they get the shot off and you cannot take your time with this Columbus team.
They will get a stick escape something in front of.
I can't stress that enough.
Frustrating to watch 90% of the shots on net go over the boards and have a face off.
Trust me, so it's like it's you guys got to get that shot cut off as soon as they have an opening.
That's exactly what happened, Did and buried it, and the Lightning have a comfortable 31 lead going into the third done.
It works around for Cirelli on the wraparound.
Korpisalo was there and your Strand shot from outside the line, but Vasilevskiy sees there any gloves.
It down and in circuits have gets his bucket knocked off, and he's not happy.
I've only been able to see the one, the one live fight so far having this Syriza's Wells, the Jackets and sort of the blues and conducts.
And we got a scrap in that series in Game two.
But, you know, I know fight so far.
If you're one of those people who don't like fighting in hockey younger, I don't want here cause I like fighting in hockey.
I kind of I actually miss fighting in hockey.
Not not for just the pure, barbaric act of fighting with, Like when you get your guy like when your captain gets hit from behind into the boards, you're supposed to drop your clothes and take out the guy who did that.
That's how that works.
Or like before, I guys new like when they would get suspended for, you know, a guy on the other guys seem they knew the next time they played, they were going to drop the glove. That's how goals.
So the players police themselves, for the most part.
But you know, people who have never played hockey in the life or, you know, they don't understand how aggression and that kind of thing works.
Oh, you know it doesn't belong in the game.
Well, it's been in the game for as long as I can remember.
So maybe you don't belong in the ****ing game.
How about that? So many of you that cover the sport of hockey on Lee criticized.
They don't talk about how it's a great sport.
There was talk about all these negative things about shut up, probably going like, Are you nuts? So that's gonna do it for the second here.
Lots of, uh, lots of chances were the Lightning, and they're able to take a two goal advantage going to the third. That's big.
That's big for them.
They can maybe hang back a bit, but I wouldn't expect them to.
I mean, there, uh, on offensive team.
That's the strength.
The jackets have done a really good job of getting in front of popped, and I mean corpus always played greed.
We're getting some John going into the going into the locker room here so we'll see what happens in 1/3.
We could be in for a bit of a number the third period, as both these teams Karna started to step up the aggression and we're in game three.
So I mean, you've been seeing these guys for about me, especially that first game went an extra five with an extra five period.
So these guys have seen a lot of each other and start to get on each other's nerves.
You can especially see that with circuits.
Circuits has a quite annoyed the last.
The last few scrums.
He wants to go with somebody seeming.
So we'll see what happens.
Taking a look what else is going on tonight.
I think we got some Is there isn't a USC on tonight.
Until you see it gives you got isn't today the, uh, this steep A and Courtney fight.
That's today, Harry.
Oh, nice. That is today Perfect.
We'll tell you what, As soon as I'm done this, I'm probably gonna be watching the fight.
So if you guys air into that pillow, I'll probably be, uh yeah, who knows? I might not, is what put it on here.
I'm just watching it anyways.
Yeah, forgive me if you're only here for hockey talk, but yeah.
Main event tonight, A Sleep aid Yokich and Daniel Cormier.
That's gonna be for the heavyweight title.
And I believe that's going to Daniel Cormier's final fight.
We'll see Sean O Mellie going against Marlon.
Vera, Sean O malley's guy got a lot of hate behind him.
He's fun. Guy watch.
And then those Santos and Rose and Stroup.
That's that's also actually, that's a pretty good card here, John Dogs and on the card of the dogs.
So I'm gonna be watching some your seat tonight to do so.
See what happens.
This game will probably run another hour.
So and at that time, timing work.
So pretty good, actually, so see what happens.
But right now we are here, Game three, lightning and jackets.
And yeah, whenever this game's gonna take control of the series, go up to one and yeah, I will be honest going into this game.
I thought this was gonna be Columbus's game.
I thought they didn't give the Lightning watch last game and coming into this one, I just I just don't know what they would have in the tank, so yeah, but they look good so far.
A bit of a rough start to the game.
They went down to men in the Jackets, weren't able to capitalize.
And since then it's been pretty much all Lightning since the 10 minute mark of the of the first. Don't get me wrong.
Columbus is high.
There are moments that kind of chances.
Riley Nash obviously scored a cool, but the puck stays, uh, stays in the Columbus, known for a lot longer than stays in the end zone, that's for sure.
So we'll see if that trend continues in the third or if Columbus can start to put together some offense consistently.
But again, something that will say, I mean, Columbus has had a hard time even getting the blue line against the late King, and they've done an excellent job in their own zone.
But, yeah, they've been relying more on kind of timely scoring, an excellent defense rather than just, you know, trying to outscore the Lightning.
I don't think there's many teams in the league that could go go for goal with the late, so yeah, We got a couple of a couple talking heads here coming up.
So I got some phone calls.
I gotta make something.
Do that, and we will be back for the third period.
So we got some more playoff hockey coming up.
Tarps off hockey dot Net my bookie dot e g used the chemical tarps offseason Davinder deposit. All months, Jimmy.
Different Stock column.
You see the things here check.
Um oh, In the meantime, if you're bored or dysentery, wash the talking heads and I'll be back in a few minutes.
All right? So we are back.
We are live and are about to jump into the therapy.
Here I am, literally shivering.
It is so cold in here.
The a c like, I'm grateful that it comes in so well because when I just broadcast in this room and stuff and I have other people in here, you know, sometimes it gets a little stuffy.
So I'm very grateful for the fact that is here, but, uh, I'm freezing right now, so So let's you have.
But I'm waiting for the commercial break so that we could get into some Samaki year.
It looks like we're starting up now, which is good news, but I don't try to time.
The whole third period.
Just out of respect for our CEO and the and our website name.
I see something else.
So 31 lead for the lightning coming into this third period will see the jackets could get some momentum.
But I don't see it happens here.
Korpisalo is look good, right? I mean, I didn't really have a chance, Um, on any of them.
Bass Dyleski's been sharp is well, but hasn't had to face nearly as many shots, which is kind of in the theme of the series here, but the jackets they look, you look pretty sharp defensively.
This is the lightning our team that you can't give him.
You can't give him even a little bit there. Very, very talented team.
Third period officially underway.
I got started firing here or something to blow.
Has it in the corner jackets.
Was that that's going to be nice ing right off the top here.
What? Some reason that wasn't called.
So they're making me a liar right off the bat. That's cool.
Hedman, who had a great goal towards the end of the second period there, and good row gets around the boards there, turn it, keeps it in Yanni.
Gorgeous behind the net and what comes along.
The boards and jackets try to clear, but ah, only just getting over the blue line and gored brings it right back and he flips it to the corner and good battle along the boards and jackets. Come over there.
They got two on two year and your neck rubs him out there.
Lightning were the zone, and Murray gets it back up for the Jackets, and the Jackets are in his own.
When were chased behind the head.
Looking off, Price gets the demon and coming in your story, that was Oh, never mind That was Coleman coming off the bench or Robbins. My apologies.
I couldn't tell that.
It's so I don't watch jackets games ever.
So my apologies.
I'm gonna butcher the names.
Always watch the Blue Jackets.
I watched the Lightning, but common in late.
Nobody was there a second ago.
He just got over the blue line, comes up with an varies Robbins.
I've noticed Robinson.
That serious do is a big guy.
He's been involved. It's a good place.
But my apologies are messing up his name already.
And that's his first career NHL playoff goal.
And hopefully the Jackets cannot pull out a win and maybe you'll get the Gang Park.
So Shattenkirk, back to play and like and get in his own Korpisalo kind of misplayed it.
Their point now commitment it point gets in order.
Shattenkirk Shangqiu works in on the backhand.
Oh, Korpisalo comes up big Shattenkirk at a great chance there.
Here's cool draw.
He gets it over the point.
Who tribes have kind of a quiet game compared Teoh.
His usual low put Shattenkirk works around, but that shot gets deflected back to the point again.
That gets knocked down in front of the net and jackets try to clear, but no good kept in at the line.
Oh, and Crew drop center for Shattenkirk for shocker. Couldn't hit them.
What a great play.
Oh, lightning getting his own, Bogosian shoots, and indeed I really like Zack.
Gold was getting so Jackets are working around.
Try to get something set up and didn't gain the blue line echoes on the vast Celeski and he plays.
It was a good pass.
And here we go Johnson and he's got Killorn with him out front, but nothing going on there.
And the Jackets have a two on two rush.
Folino has it now trying to work behind the net, and Bogosian comes up with it.
So Bogosian shoots up the boards because it's a caloric.
Lauren passes it back.
An old fans on the past did, uh, did Hedman.
There goes, you know, as it back and everybody settling down.
Both teams are changing and we'll see what the Lightning could put together here.
Get over the red line and get it in it.
Oh, gored with good heads up play just to kind of throw it on throat in front of the net.
But no, because it will get a stick on it.
Sure, neck pinching and keeps it in his own.
You come to turn back again.
Had it shot on that that went wild.
So, Jack, it's clear the zone.
15 minutes at 40 seconds to go in this third period, jackets get a quick goal early, so it's just a 32 game here and your neck, waiting for somebody that's deflected.
Indeed, and Jones is back to pick it up, comes the Shattenkirk or just dumps it right back in.
And Jones will pick it up again and we're in ski with a bad pass.
Circuits has it now for the Lightning.
Close up the boards.
Oh, but the Jackets come up with the Nash gets upended.
No call and Seth Jones hold onto it. Us.
