We're just waiting for Sam.
Begin on and we're gonna start this broadcast up.
17 off Sport show.
I'm very excited that have another guest on here today.
I just think you kid 99 for during the broadcast.
Nothing about you.
I'm doing all right.
I'm doing all right.
I'm getting more optimistic as ah, we hear that more more and more sports are coming back.
So, you know, and it's Yeah, I'm getting excited about most.
I'm hoping that the MLB owners, employers just stop fighting over whatever it is and just get together and figure something out.
Oh, sama is on the show tonight.
Sam is a well known SportsCastr, just like Isaac, who we had on the show.
He is, um, those Broncos play by play all the time.
Ah, from ruinously to football.
Whatever it is, he's there doing it and ah, great to have you here, but yeah, we're doing NFC South predictions today on of the few last ones that we did were on NFC predictions, and we're just finishing goes off today, So, uh, We're just going to do that, and we'll start with who I think is gonna be in fourth place this year, which is the Falcons for May.
I think overall this division, though, just to talk about it.
They're very talented division.
It's a very talented division.
Obviously, Brady coming here is big, But when you look at the starting to be some very accomplished Q B's in there, UH, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Matt Ryan and then the new, uh, new starting quarterback in there for the Panthers now in Teddy Bridgewater.
So, yes, this is a very talented division, but I think that the families are gonna be in last but to elaborate on what the books have done this season.
What do you think are the chances that we could see the Bucks go above 12? And for this season, I'll be honest 15 days, and I think the chances of them going above 12 and for a pretty low, to be honest with you and listen.
I know a lot of people are are high on the bucks, but I think we have the, you know, calm down a little bit on the hype around Tampa Bay.
I mean, yes, it's it's no, it's quite crazy, you know, just looking at their team.
But the reality is, you know Tom Brady's in the new organization.
He'll have to make an adjustment himself.
Who knows? You know what type of Gronk we're going to get back into the league, although I think that's a huge, a huge benefit for Tom Brady.
Because at least they'll have, you know, 11 receiver on this team who he's quite used to throwing to over the course of his career.
And obviously, you know, you have a whole hold slew of stack receivers on that Tampa Bay team, so the offense is pretty good.
There are their oppo line.
Isn't isn't too bad either, cause that's going to be key as well, getting protection for Tom Brady.
But I just think, you know, considering there in the NFC South to which is a pretty stack Division A Z, you said, I think I have them going 10 and six.
I could still see them even going. Not in seven.
Um, uh, I just I don't know, Tampa Bay.
There will be a solid team, but they I don't think they will be, you know, super super good, like one of the best teams in the league.
Uh, just because overall, you know, yes, they have a good amount of talent.
But there's so there's so many new faces and it's gonna take a little of getting used to, I think for this Buccaneers team.
And so I have the fishing second division being a wild card team and who knows what will happen in the playoffs? I mean, could the Buccaneers make a run in the playoffs and, you know, host the first Super Bowl ever? The Super Bowl is in Tampa Bay so that that should get talking.
But I see them being 10 and six.
That's where I see them go.
And I'd be really surprised if they went, you know, as good as 13 and three.
Although I don't know Tom Brady, he proves everybody wrong.
It seems so we'll see.
We'll see what he still got.
Yeah, for me, that's the That's the big thing because I don't know how Tom Brady's gonna dio.
I think the Bronco ski is going to be very underrated this season in terms of what he means to this team, not because of his ability to catch the ball, but as much as the ability that if he makes under 100 catches this season, he's still valuable because you're using him.
And he is somebody that on third down, Tom Brady's used to throw into.
He's not used to throwing to Godwin or Mike Evans, even though they're beasts.
He's not used to throwing to them.
So I think, yes, but yeah, we are going to start with the Falcons, who I think is going to be in last place this season.
I think the Falcons still have a good chance to win a few games this season.
But you know, when I look at this division, they're pretty stacked.
Their first game comes up against the Seahawks, and I think that the Seahawks team, even though they lack talent while around the ride receiver position, I have them winning this game.
Yeah, um, I mean, I don't know.
I think for Atlanta overall, I mean, I feel like a lot of people maybe are a little too optimistic about this team because when you look at it, I mean, yes, they got Todd Gurley.
But the reality is, you know, we don't know what type of Todd Gurley we're gonna get, and that was really the only big move Atlanta made for.
For the most part, it's a very similar Falcons team roster wise, and over the past couple of years, they've been extremely underwhelming.
So I I'm with you.
I have the Falcons finishing last in division and I have them losing Siri since the Adul in that opening game.
To be honest with you, I mean, I know I've heard some people say that that Carolina are gonna be last, But I still have Atlanta finishing last in division because I don't I don't see you know how they're going to change.
They've just spent disappointing year after year and without many changes over the offseason.
I just don't see anything changing with this team this upcoming season.
I know we're going to discuss the Panthers in a moment, but this Carolina team, meanwhile, they have a baby brand new quarterback and ah, quarterback can make a big change to a team, that's for sure.
So that's why I'm more optimistic in Carolina than Atlanta heading into this season.
Yeah, I would have to agree with you on that.
I think that the Falcons air just, uh, kind of in that same slowly Brennan after they won the Super Bowl.
You know, when they when they beat or excuse me, lost the Super Bowl, they should have one, but I actually just went Blake there.
But you know, when they should have won that Super Bowl after that seemed like it just went downhill.
And I can tell you that if they won that Super Bowl, there would have been a difference, because I feel like the coaching they had their When you look at the coaching they had their they had Kyle Shanahan and Dan Quinn there.
The older of the two very highly talented, um, coaches slash assistance.
And then they had another guy who's now coach.
I can't exactly remember his name, but caution.
And he's a great offensive coordinator.
And he was then now is the coach of the 40 Niners, Obviously, So, yeah, I see a slow decline.
The Falcons, but then the first George four games are pretty tough because you're going up like I said Seahawks.
Then it's Cowboys, bears and Packers.
The easiest came out of those for me is probably the Bears.
But you know, the Cowboys.
I see the beating Cowboys and Packers.
I don't know if you have anything to say about that, but you know, they're pretty.
That's pretty easy wins for those two teams against the Falcons, I think.
Yeah, I I would agree with you.
Although I think I think that Dallas game will be a really good game.
To be honest with you, I think I don't know.
I feel like some people are saying, you know, the cow food I know we're going.
I'm getting a little off topic, but just talking about the Cowboys quickly.
That there, Yeah.
You know, like top four in the n f. C.
I don't see that happening.
I you know, I think I think they will win that division.
Uh, you know, the Eagles are the Eagles.
I just don't have faith in the Eagles.
I think it'll be a really close division there between them and the Cowboys.
I think it'll be similar to last that is going.
I'm going six in 10 this year.
I think the Cowboys, though, you know, just maybe two or three games above 500.
But since that division will be so bad again, they will get in the playoffs.
But I think it's a similar Dallas team.
They improved slightly, you know, getting up, getting ah, lamb.
Was it in the draft? I believe. Yeah.
So, uh, but when I don't know, I want to high on the Cowboys.
And so I think Atlanta will will win that game.
Um, yeah, the Bears too.
I just have so many question marks about Chicago.
See, I give Atlanta I give Atlanta wins for both of those games.
Yeah, and I have them.
I have been losing to the Bears.
Actually, I think the Bears are gonna come up slightly overhead as the underdogs in that game.
But, you know, for a cat for Dallas, you know, even though it's a signed note, just give back the deal already.
I mean, everybody knows that Jack is a better quarterback than Andy Dalton or whoever your think you outside like if you worked to sign that, I would take that over Cameroon, if that's your thing about Sonny.
But you know, if that goes on sign.
Then there's gonna be a market for Jack out there because there's still a few teams that need backup or starting quarterbacks.
The Pittsburgh Steelers need a backup quarterback, and I think that is a starting quarterback.
I think he would work.
Find a New England if build out wasn't so stubborn with system, then maybe we would have a black Prescott here if they were, cause I think just crazy what the Dallas Cowboys are doing.
Give him the deal already.
But yes, So I have, um, starting off own fourth and then, um, I give them When were my out here, like at those 1st 4 games are very, very tough for them because the Falcons, even though there there are in okay team, they're not that good yet.
They're up to the point where they tell me they're going to be one of those top teams out there.
So after they face those first, what four tough losses, then they have to go ahead and face the Panthers, and that's where I see them getting their first victory.
I think that they're going to come out and one against the Panthers.
I think It'll be a very close game with Teddy Bridgewater and that Ryan.
But I think like the running game that's close to with Todd Gurley and Christian McCaffrey.
I Todd Gurley, um, but, you know, I don't know what he's going to do.
Like you said, we don't know.
There's a lot of question marks with him, what he's gonna be in Atlanta, you know, everything.
How he was sit sitting out in the Super Bowl, and we always seem to hear big stories about players and Super Bowl when they get set out.
But I don't know, but yeah, I think there first ones against the Panthers here.
Yeah, I would agree with you as well, To be honest with you, I think it will be a great game.
I think the Falcons and characters are, you know, I think it's gonna be close between them throughout the season.
Record wise, a Zay said earlier.
I do think the Panthers will get that third spot.
It won't matter in the end because I I don't think Carolina or it will make the playoffs.
But if I if I had ultimately had the pick who will come ahead of who I do go with Carolina, but I do think Atlanta will win the first game.
Yeah, I agree with you.
And then after they face that game, they go fish the Vikings after then that's too to top of the game for Atlanta.
I think they could put up a few scores in this one.
Taught burly, get a few rushing touchdowns.
But I do like Dalvin cook in this Cowboys, this Vikings team.
So I take the Vikings winning, and then you got to go ahead and face the lines.
And then, you know, the Lions is kind of, Ah, we're not a great team.
And that's where I see the Falcons winning their second game there, cause the Falcons, Yeah, yeah, the Falcons are better than the Detroit Lions because the lines just need you got passing him, and I've been saying this for a while now.
I don't understand whether it'll grow.
They don't even have a passer that's really worth talking about, like nobody that I they don't even have anybody.
Like if they could grab somebody the slightest guy, like, just just to go out there like Sanou.
Maybe, as Brad has now joined our broadcast likes to new or somebody that's better than what they have.
Like, they don't have anybody whatsoever.
Just somebody in there, you know.
So I have the Falcons winning that one, and then after it's stopping the Panthers again.
And this is the one where I see the Panthers coming out on top pitchers their home in this game in Carolina and I have them.
One. You, this one.
Yeah, I would as well, although it will definitely be interesting to see ah, this upcoming season.
You know, if any fans will be allowed, you know, or if the first half of season there'll be no fans, maybe second half, you know, 25 50% capacity, we just don't know.
So that's an interesting factor as well.
To see you know how big home field advantage will actually be if if there are no fans, you know, it's it's up for grabs, and I don't think you know, home field advantage means an awful lot.
As you said, I've been commenting.
Bundesliga games in the away team so far has one like 75% of the games and it's you know that shows you how big hope youll advantages with those fans, especially in places like Kansas City, Seattle, where the fans do play a huge role.
But yeah, ultimately, I do think Carolina get the victory in the second meeting against the Falcons at home, and those two teams will split the season serious.
Yeah, I really do Like the Falcons in the Panthers bread.
I can't remember off the top of my head what my number is.
I can't remember off the top of my head, but if you want to give me yours, I'll put it in.
If that's if that's fine with you cause I can't remember mine because I haven't iCloud and I have an iPad and I cant remember it off the top of my head.
But, you know, Yeah, I do see them splitting those two games there.
I like both teams competing against each other this season, but like you said with the Bundesliga, that's interesting without the crowds, how much of a difference it makes.
So I think big biggest in college football, where we see a lot of fans there, I think that's gonna make the biggest impact and in the NFL, so that, for sure, is um, what I think, but continuing on after the Falcons going face the Panthers, it's Broncos.
I take the Falcons in this Won the Super Bowl rematch.
Um, yeah, right.
How many women? You okay? Um, all right.
How do I think I don't even know how to take Screenshots here? I'm on a computer, so I'll go back and look at the broadcast, but, uh, yeah, I'll catch your show tonight.
Um, Brad, but up.
So, yeah, you're doing with the Falcons.
You know, they face the Broncos Super Bowl kind of rematch from a long time ago.
Back when John Elway and stuff.
But I have the Falcons winning this one, too.
So at this point, they've grabbed their third win of the season, I believe.
3rd 1 of the season here.
And then you go and had a face and face the Saints first divisional matchup again against them. I have the saints winning.
Then you face the Raiders.
I'm taking the Raiders over the Falcons in that game.
So, uh, they're still get to win more than three games.
At this point, I'm having them lose two saints again.
And then I have of them, uh, beating the Chargers.
And then all just then the last three games I have been losing to the Buccaneers in both of those games and to the chief.
So they finished off the season, and in total, they get three wins, everyone three and 13.
I could see it proved I could see them going anywhere from two and 14 to 6 and 10.
So that's where I have them.
Uh, you elaborate more on what you think they could go from and those last three games of the season.
Yeah, sure, actually, in that Denver game, I do.
I do have actually the Broncos coming out on top.
I think the Broncos could be a sneaky team to look out for.
Actually, um, maybe, you know what? That extra playoff team they could.
They could snag that last wildcard spot.
Perhaps, I think, really Drew Drew LA.
Could have could have a break out season.
But we'll see that.
That's, you know, talking about gender.
But I do have the Broncos winning that.
And then I think I think a six and 10 record overall is is fair.
Maybe they go five and 11.
Yeah, I'd say five and 11 for Atlanta, to be honest with you, another one of those years where Atlanta string together if a few wins, but not even that close to making the playoffs in the end.
So it's gonna be it's gonna be the same old, same old from Atlanta in the end.
That's honestly what I think when it all comes down to it for the Falcons.
So, yeah, yeah, I agree.
I think that when it happens, it happens.
Whatever happens, there goes a and goes on.
So whether they go to and 14 or five and 11 it's still not a great season for them.
But, you know, I think I would call it a good season if they wore more than five games, though, you know, I've called a good season.
I would be very impressed if they won more than five, but I think it's possible what's move on.
Maybe one of the most interesting quarterback roles this season in this division other than Tom Brady is Ah, this quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, because when you think about it, he only played five games with saints, so there's still uncer*****y here just like there is with Tom Brady, Um, in ah, Buccaneers uniform.
There's uncer*****y here.
I think that it's overlooked.
Everybody's talking about Teddy Bridgewater and I really love him.
I think he's an incredible quarterback and one of my favorite in the league, but I don't know what he's going to do.
He only played five games like it keeps saying for the Saints.
So maybe those five were lucky.
But, you know, he went into Seattle and one that I was watching here the other night.
You pointed that out.
Then what? He wanted to Seattle in one.
So that's pretty tough.
He also wanna get some tough teams.
I believe he wanted his the Rams as well.
I'm not exactly sure what happened there, but he faced tough teams.
Yeah, well, for sure.
Um, I'm not exactly sure what we're gonna see this season from, uh, from the Panthers, but you know, as far as I know, I have the winning a few games, their first games against the Raiders, and I'm taking the Raiders and skin game.
I'm taking them around off the back to toe, lose the first game.
I think it's a little bit of a bold prediction, but it's also, you know, it could happen.
I'm thinking in the the Raiders to go out there and get that first win.
And then I have the book years, winning a second game as well.
But I think Sam's a little glitch Doubt right now so might get kicked out.
And then it will probably reload him.
Yeah, you just got kicked out so there won't leave right back.
I'm sure he's just reloading his computer. Whatever.
Chromebook always for him to come back before we re started or continued but up.
Thank you for watching so far.
Blew Dodgers blew step for the finger from 50 takes Bruins hype for the follow Dodger Blue Step for the follow.
Thank you so much, guys.
Okay, so we're back, right? Sorry about that.
I lost Internet for a second.
It all happens, you know, With all this technology, it's, ah, very overwhelming.
But continuing on now Raiders.
I have the Raiders winning the first game against the Panthers.
I have the Buccaneers putting the second, and this is a game to watch that second game of the season That's a game that's a game toe watch.
Like watching pretty Bridgewater try and compete against Tom Brady, one of the greatest of all time.
If not, I'm He's the greatest, in my opinion, but so that's That's certainly a big game to say.
So I have them going on to and then finally beating the Chargers in that third game.
So there I wanted to at that point.
I think they started completely.
I completely agree with you on that.
And you rightly say, You know, there's still a lot of question marks with Teddy Bridgewater like I really liked him, even in Minnesota for, you know, for a little that we saw him.
And then But yeah, you know, even last year with the Saints, I mean, obviously use the backup.
But when Drew Brees got injured Ah, Teddy Bridgewater to come in and that's no easy job backing up one the best quarterbacks in the Regan Drew Brees and coming in, you know, unexpectedly having a star, I'd leave.
It was five games and he went five.
I know, cause I remember when Drew Brees went down, people were saying, Oh, no, the saints are gonna are gonna drop down the standings cause they're gonna have, like, uneven record while breezes out.
Ah, but no, that was not the case at all.
Bridgewater Ah excelled in those five starts and impressed impressed me a lot.
So I definitely I definitely like what I have seen so far of Teddy Bridgewater.
But now that he's going to be the starter in Carolina, the leader of that Panthers team, let's see how he does, cause that's a That's a much bigger role now, but he's definitely a promising.
Ah, a promising young player in the league who I think and, you know, be a very good quarterback and definitely deserves a starting job.
And he's going to get that opportunity in Carolina with the Panthers.
Yeah, so just kind of a little bit of a, um, arrest when you take Teddy Bridgewater.
But like you said, if he had not one of those five games, I don't know if we would be seeing the Saints in the position they were in last season.
So because last years NFC South standings were obviously the same for overwhelmingly better than the other teams in their division.
But ah, but you know, the seams went 13 3 last season.
Uh, the Falcons for 79 next so that they were easy.
Wins lost season for the Saints.
But have they lost a few games, It would have been closer.
So, yeah, that's what I have to say.
Well, you know, even if you went three and two, that would be successful, but won all five games, so that was great for him.
But, you know, just a hypothetical.
If he Cam Newton doesn't start at the beginning of this season, if he doesn't start and at the Super Bowl.
But Super Bowl time.
If I were to tell you that Cam Newton were not was not going to start and Teddy Bridgewater Waas for team, would you believe me? Not at all.
Yeah, it's Yeah, it's It's been a weird story with with Cam Newton, because he was M v p.
Rightly so in in that memorable run for the Panthers, and he was just throw good.
And unfortunately, you know, injuries have really have really hurt his career significantly like more than I ever would have thought.
And now he's a guy who can't find a team and obviously with the Corona virus.
That hasn't helped because, yeah, you can't, you know, find out his You know how he is physically and if you know, because there's there's the injury risk and it's I'm still intrigued that no team has picked them up yet.
And he's like, for I feel I feel bad in a way because of how good he was.
But then again, his attitude does.
Does play a factor into that.
You know, he's he's been a little too selfish at times.
You know, when? When I think when he was the M V p.
And was the best player in the league, he just got way too way too confident.
Well, better they would make the plane back in 2015 that he was one of the best in the world.
And I still think that Cam Newton could be signed by, like the Ravens.
You know, what about the grievance were assigning.
But you know what? I what I think when I think about the Ravens signing and because there would be two huge running quarterbacks in the backfield, I think you know, like when the Lakers went in sight, signed Steve Nash and Dwight Howard.
Yeah, I didn't work out, and they got swept in the first round when the Patriots went to sign Antonio Brown and things went downhill from them.
Sometimes big missions don't work, so But if I If I have to bet this season this offseason, that's Kendra is going to get signed or not signed, I bet the heat gets side.
That's if I'm placing my money.
I'm placing my money. I can't even the he gets side.
I think some he was gonna pick him up.
I think the past had interest in them.
I heard that from a clutch points article, but in the end, he didn't get Yeah, I I agree.
He'll get signed eventually at some point before the season gets underway as a backup.
And, you know, in the end, obviously he wants to be a starter.
But we saw with Jamis Winston.
I mean, he wants to be a starter, but he just got so desperate.
He's like, Okay, let me take a step back and I'll learn in New Orleans as a backup, he ended up taking just one million.
I think eyes, what is what the Saints gave him on that one year deal.
So ultimately, I think Cam Newton is going to say, Hey, I I just I just want to be, ah, part of some team where I can hopefully, you know, hopefully work back up to where I want to get to and, you know, take in that role as a backup for a year or two and exactly aren't a lot from it.
And then maybe, you know, I can have a comeback career down the road a couple of years in the future.
That's what I don't know.
Think eventually he will.
I don't know if Cam Newton is gonna take that step, because I don't know if he is that I don't know if he's willing to crawl.
I mean, who might bend a little.
But our movie's gonna crawl to the to the backup position.
I mean, you know, I could see him sharing that starting role.
Kind of like a Nick Foles missed Robiskie thing, but I don't know if he'll crawl to the back of position, but you know, it's something like, um, what's his name defunding for him.
And he said if he doesn't get the money, you won't play, so we don't know what he's gonna take.
But you know, the Panthers have, Like I said, I have them losing the 1st 2 games, then beating the Chargers and then after they face the charter's because that there are there are 12 at that point and then for me.
And then they face the Cornell's.
I have them beating the Cardinals.
Then I have them losing to the Falcons.
Like we said, I have them actually losing to the Bears as well in this one, to the Bears have won against the Falcons and the Panthers.
Ah, after that, I believe they face the Falcons again are they? Face the Saints.
I have the Saints beating the Panthers, and I wanted that.
I have the Panthers beating the Falcons that I have Chief speeding the Panthers and the Bucks.
Uh, excuse me, the Panthers being in the book so those that the stretcher and ever gets tougher Carolina.
But I have them winning this time.
They want to three in four games.
So there, there, I believe that that four and, uh, one there are four and six at this point, and it looks like Sam's glittering a little bit here.
Yeah, you just got kicked off.
We'll be right back.
Technology sometimes sample beer, but But But Sam is a great commentator, by the way.
So go check out his jail.
If you haven't already checked out his SportsCastr, it's amazing.
And he's on the all sports talk show with Grand Isaac.
So go watch that as well.
But he is an amazing commentator and ah, very, very great SportsCastr.
Over 30 k views on SportsCastrs.
So he is dedication two SportsCastr in a great SportsCastr.
Hey, certainly is so away from to get right back on, and Isaac is joined now.
Isaac, we've got we've got Sam.
And when is that gonna come back? Certainly about that. Yep.
Okay, so, um yeah, continuing here.
Uh, he said he thought Sam was he Isaac Thought you were taking the day off over there. No.
Yeah, Well, hey, Nathan asked me if I wanted to be a guest, so I have a have a little bit of time right now.
I was gonna take the night off, but I'm happy.
I'm happy to join as a guest.
First of NFC south predictions.
So after they face the, um so I don't know if you heard this, but after, you know, after they face those those few opponents, Did you hear what I said, or did you cut out? I think that yes.
So after their wanted to, I have them beating.
I have to scroll back up on the schedule.
I have been beating the Cardinals, losing to the Falcons like we said and then losing to the Bears this into the Saints, then beating the Falcons, then losing to the Chiefs and then beating the Buccaneer.
So I have them in the, um, upset victory.
And then I have them also beating lions.
And then after that, I have them beating the Vikings.
So they go on a three win streak where they beat the Buccaneers Lions at Vikings, so they get some upset wins there.
What are your thoughts about the Panthers and upset wins this season in its rich? Yeah, I could see them upsetting Minnesota, but when it comes to Tampa Bay, I don't know.
I just don't see it happening.
Really? Then beating the Buccaneers, it could happen.
I mean, It definitely could happen.
I mean, NFL, anything, any, anything can happen, really.
But I just don't see Carolina being able.
Teoh upset the Buccaneers, but the Vikings? I could see I could really see them upsetting Minnesota.
Yeah, come back against his former team, the Buccaneers.
I see because I think that at some point the Buccaneers will fall apart during the season.
Uh, after that game, those two games.
Then they face the Broncos.
I have them losing to the Broncos, have the Broncos coming up with that one, and then I have them losing to the Packers.
And actually, I have them losing to the Redskins.
So that's interesting.
And then I have them beating the Saints to finish off the season.
So they finish with, Um, I believe I have that seven wins to finish off the season.
You have. I have limits.
So seven and nine this season.
Ah, big improvement from last year's and five and 11 old home all, although it's only two more wins I have.
I think 79 could be a little generous, so I see them.
They could go anywhere from 4 to 12 to eight and eight.
So that's where I have them this season.
I mean, I think seven and nine is a fair spot to put him out.
They might go six and 10.
Well, yeah, they I think seven and nine is really fair for them.
Um, I don't know.
I don't know if they beat both of Buccaneers and the Saints won game.
It's possible it's possible.
But, um, you know, you never know.
I think I think 79 for the Panthers is really fair.
I think, as you said, they'll improve and you know it attention to see how the first year goes for a Teddy Bridgewater and maybe a couple years down the road.
You know, this Carolina team can can start to become a playoff contender once again, But, yeah, there's there'll still be some work to do for Carolina.
But I do have them finishing ahead of Atlanta.
Ultimately by again.
Yeah, so exactly.
It's like the Cleveland Browns.
Like when people overhype teams and they get overhyped, they get too confident.
And the Panthers? I think so.
You already see them making the playoffs.
I don't see that.
I think seven and nine I follow a win for the Panthers this season? 79.
Hopefully, they don't just miss out on the plaice because that's the worst seat to be.
Worst place to be, like the like, the ninth seed in there.
Uh, NFL, our MP A. Rather.
That's always the worst place to be, except for this season, because apparently you got a free ride in the playoffs.
But definitely it's always the worst place to be.
When you're the 1950 get it.
You just missed out on the playoffs and get a terrible selection in the draft, kind of.
But you know, moving on now that we're halfway through this overall this NFC South, the Buccaneers, that's the next team to talk about.
Really, as for some reason, I just want, like black or white over here, but very odd.
You just want all of a sudden, the color on the screen was gone.
They'll come back eventually, but the Buccaneers again.
Another team like the Cleveland Browns could be all a little overhyped this season.
Do you think that the bucket years over like, um I mean, maybe a little bit.
But to be honest with you, I've heard a lot of mixed opinions from, you know, people on ESPN and Fox Sports.
I've heard some people that are definitely overhyping them, saying, You know, there, they're gonna make the Super Bowl.
I wouldn't nearly go nearly that far.
But then I also hear some people who who are like, you know, I think a little more realistic and maybe some too pessimistic like, No, they're gonna have uneven record.
I think there's somewhere in between I think I say, I think, um, I think this is a team who goes who goes 11 and 11 and five meat, possibly 10 6 As I said earlier, So I've really been hearing a mix of opinions.
So some people, yes, there, over hyping him, some people, not so much.
Maybe when you balance it out, perhaps a little overhyped just because, yes, Tom Brady's heading the Tampa He has Gronk now as well, so that it's always going to be overhyped a little bit and I think we all have toe take, take a step back and let's see.
Let's see how the first couple of games go and then I think we can make a real definitive opinion because you know it's gonna be a whole new look.
Tampa Bay team obviously there the the most.
They're the most losing franchise win percentage wise in all of, Ah, American sports over their history.
And so it's crazy.
In the first place out, Tom Brady went to Tampa.
But, hey, if he starts winning with them, if the Buccaneers start winning, nobody will care what Tampa was in the past.
But until Tom Brady, you know, goes in there, and until the Buccaneers do string some wins together, they'll still be Tampa Bay.
So they still are the Buccaneers right now.
But obviously, they're bringing in star power that we never saw it coming.
And, yeah, it's It's definitely exciting for any Buccaneers fan.
I can only imagine.
And ah, it will be an interesting season for a sure, And I think we still we still have a lot of questions that have to be answered, including how Tom Brady is going to do with a new team.
Obviously, he's been with New England his whole career.
He's the first player in NFL history to play with one team for two decades and then go to another team and then Rob Gronkowski not only going to another team but coming out of retirement to we'll see what that year often for him, if he's gonna win, prove based on that recovery year or if he's gonna be rusty or what? Um, so, yeah, I'm excited to see how Tampa do, by the way. Just a fun fact.
Obviously you, you and me are are Patriots fans.
The Patriots and Buccaneers only play at the same time twice this whole season.
So I'm sure there there's gonna be a lot of Tampa games here and here in the New England area that will be able to watch.
So I'm not gonna root for the Buccaneers necessarily.
But I will be very intrigued to see them like the rest of the country.
Will. I heard they have their fruits.
Their first game is until November December.
But they played the same time.
So in only cork in the squat schedule.
But, uh, you know Brady, it still hurts.
It hasn't fully sank in.
To be honest with you, I'm sure must fully sick back thinking that this guy is not on the, uh is not on the Patriots anymore, but one he plays that first game.
I'm gonna I'm gonna When he plays that first game, all realized that he's not mentally.
That, I don't realize is that physically, they don't realize.
But mentally, it'll set in when that happens.
You know, obviously, and always on the exactly I mean like us Patriots fans.
You know, we all obviously know he's gone.
But, you know, since since the, uh, the Patriots season came from, none of it was in the Tennessee in the playoffs.
I think we were all like saying saying to ourselves, There's no way he's actually gonna leave.
But then by the bay, we saw it more as a realistic possibility that when it happened, we were all in shock, obviously.
But I think now, as time has gone on, you know, here in the off season were like, Is this a dream or it's time ready, really, on the Buccaneers.
But as you say, that first game against the Saints, when we see when all the Patriots fancy Tom Brady Buccaneers uniform, then it will really sink in and will be like, Oh, wow, this isn't a dream.
He's actually in a different uniform than the Patriots won and it's gonna be really weird for sure, And I think that's gonna be when the reality really sinks in for for all of us.
But, yeah, it's it's gonna be weird.
Really weird. Exactly.
But the Buccaneers So starting off, I have them actually winning at some point this season.
Uh, I have them winning seven games in a row, so and it's not because I think there a legally, but the teams are really that that good that they're facing.
So the Saints, I have the Saints winning that first game.
I have the Saints winning because they're better.
In my opinion, they're more experienced overalls.
The team lost team.
Let's see, uh, just off the top of my head.
They haven't made the playoffs in a few years.
It's been a long time.
Um, but you know, so right away I have them, but I have them.
Excuse me. I have them.
Like I said, losing to the Saints.
And then I have been beating the Panthers in that first game of the season against the Panthers.
And then after that, I have them being the Broncos, Chargers, Bears, Packers, um, rears and giants.
So that's what eight games comes in.
Do you think that's a possibility that they could actually win those eight games in a row? I think it's a real possibility, obviously, will be no easy task.
But as you said, you know those are all winnable games.
I really do think, and that definitely plays to the advantage of them.
So I don't think you're crazy to say that they could win.
All eight of those games will be easy.
Is it possible? Yeah, I have no doubt in my mind that is so That's the stretch, really, that I'm that I'm looking at where we could really see if this team is a legit Super Bowl contender or not, because it's those games, you know, Obviously, you got to win the big games to prove that you are a Super Bowl contender, But also you got to take care of business against the teams that you should be.
And even if you play eight mediocre teams in a row, it's still no easy task to beat all of them, that's for sure, because you know, just in the NFL, they're so they're so much talent and even the teams at the bottom of the league.
We see them, you know, pull off some upsets.
As you said in your earlier predictions, you know that we could see Carolina beating Tampa or New Orleans.
And that's what's so fun about divisional games, too.
Yeah, there's no doubt in my mind that they could win those eight in a row.
We'll see if they can do it. Zachary.
Crucial stretch, For sure, And the biggest thing for me.
Brady plays some of the biggest names of all time.
He's playing Drew Brees.
He gets a play Aaron Rodgers This year.
He gets to play.
Ah, Super Bowl rematch.
Kind of against Matt Ryan.
I mean, he plays some of the biggest names in football.
So yes, that tells me that Brady's gonna have a tough season, and he's got a lot to prove.
But just this is this.
That the last time the books were in the class for 2007 so he's got big shoes to fill in terms of layoffs.
Yeah, that goes without saying before, you know, temper have made the playoffs in 13 years.
It's just it's crazy because That's another good point.
You bring up Brady's going to the NFC and the NFC is just better than the A F C.
I think it creates slowly back than NFC.
See, you have the Ravens and Chiefs, and that's a huge drop off. In my opinion.
After that, it's like Titans are whatever back from last year at least.
Yeah, yeah, you know, Exactly.
So that's gonna be a challenge in itself.
And that's why I thought for sure that Tom Brady was going to go to the Chargers because L.
Just made more sense.
In my opinion, it's still in the A F C two, but now he wants to challenge himself.
He's going the NFC.
He's gonna play, Drew Brees said.
He said twice the year being in the same division, he's gonna play Aaron Rodgers, those air two guys that when he was with the Patriots, he'd only play once every four years since they were in the opposite conference.
So it really ah, lines up for some awesome quarterback matchups for Tom Brady, especially facing off against, you know, to two of the best quarterbacks in the NFC that we rarely see him face.
We've really We've rarely seen him face over the course of his Patriots career because they're in the other division.
So, yeah, for sure.
A lot of times time since we saw Brees and Brady matchup but up to continue with that, Yeah, like they face those eight games and then they have the face, the seats, and that's where I see their second loss coming in.
And then that's right, said the Panthers would come out with the victory.
Um, at that point this season, and then after that, they face the Rams.
I have them beating the Rams.
I have them losing to the Chiefs.
I have them, um, beating the Buccaneers, actually finishing the season off, winning Buccaneers, Falcons, Lions and Falcons again.
I think it's it's easy to say that when those final four years, maybe the Vikings is a tougher game.
But in my opinion, the game of the season is Chiefs and Buccaneers.
That's the game of the season game.
I'm most excited for this season, two very, very talented teams and we could see some fireworks like in action.
We could see a lot of action and if Brady loses that game that to change people's first active on Who's the best quarterback in the NFL right now? Yeah, no doubt about it. You're absolutely right, Nathan.
I mean, that's the game.
Obviously, the bucket fears have a lot of great games.
I mean, they have five games in prime time.
Uh, since when of Tampa Bay even had two games in prime time, it's just gonna be It's gonna be so fun.
I mean, obviously that they're gonna play the Saints twice, But yeah, you said it.
The Chiefs, that Buccaneers chief scheme.
Um, you know, so far, Tom Brady versus Patrick Mahomes has been a blast to watch.
And it's awesome how, Because we don't know how many more years Tom Brady is going to go.
You know, he likes to think forever, but we'll see about that.
We'll see how they print dollars, but it aligned perfectly that Ah, the Buccaneers are playing the Chiefs, even though, of course, there, in there, in opposite conferences, it aligned perfectly that the NFC South is playing the A F C West this year.
So we'll get to see another Brady but homes matchup and who cannot be excited for that because you're in a row, I believe, yeah, your pets and playing because, er, Chiefs and Brady rather operating his blade against the Chiefs already, actually, three times in the last two seasons twice, eh? Gillette Stadium, where he was one of one and then in, uh, Arrowhead Stadium, where they want again in an incredible O T thriller that again proves to me proves to people why they should change the overtime rules.
Even I think it and I'm a New England Patriots hand.
But you know, that's talking its own broadcast in everything with the Patridge.
Okay, Patrick's Patriots being vulnerable in Gillette Stadium now because they lost in Chiefs last year and the Dolphins, so they're very vulnerable.
And then they lost to ah, somebody else's well at home.
I can remember, but moving on to the sakes.
So overall, so far we have the books and clothing for the Panthers at seven and nine for me and the Falcons at three and 13.
So for the Bucks, I can see them winning anywhere from 10 and 6 to 14.
Uh, excuse me. 13 of three.
That's a Sfar as I see them going.
So I'm giving them a little bit of breathing room. Now with scenes.
Let's just look at their postseason history in sweating.
They lose to the Vikings by Stefon Diggs jumping over the defender pretty much, but that's not all.
In 2019 they lose to the Rams on a clear, placid affairs call that made us have a total disaster of a pass interference penalty challenge play last year that the NFL just admitted it was terrible.
And then we had the Vikings game where apparently was pass interference, but I don't think it's pass interference, but the main topic is they lost in OT.
So again they got burned and I found a Saints fan.
I'm thinking, What more Porcher do we have to go Teoh through, even though I'm not since been, and still, we win a Super Bowl? Meanwhile, the Patriots air over your one and Super Bowl after Super Bowl.
How much pain do we have to go through anymore? It's like the Cleveland Browns and the, um, I don't even know, you know, it's just unbearable pain, but the Saints, this is going to get interesting.
It is, yeah, for sure, because I have them winning their 1st 2 games right into the gate.
So let me get the schedule real fast, literally of old.
This is all I write everything down self, so I don't remember, But I don't have the schedule because they just put saints of win or whatever.
So I know because I don't actually write down the team they're facing cause I forget.
But, you know, here we go.
So we're gonna start up the states.
I have them winning that that first game of the season against the Buccaneers.
Like we said then beating the Raiders.
And then they lose to the Packers.
And that's a game Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.
That's a big game right there.
After you're gonna be ready for this after they win.
Are skinny blues against the pack Packers here, Rio.
They're gonna be the Lions, Chargers, Panthers, Bears, Buccaneers, 40 Niners, Falcons, Broncos, Falcons, Eagles, Chiefs and Vikings and then lose to the Panthers in the last game off the season.
So, um, that's big right there for me.
Um, I have them winning 11 games in a row.
Yeah, that So they were the first to I haven't losing to the Packers because it feel like they're gonna be very confident.
And maybe they have a little struggle in that game.
And Aaron are just comes out as best I have them winning 11 in a row because look at their opponents.
The only two that are tough are the Chiefs and the 40 Niners in the Buccaneers.
Chargers, Lions, Bears and Falcons and Broncos and Eagles.
Those air easy games.
So that's why I have them going 14 and two and being the best team this year in the NFL.
Now, if you've watched my other predictions, the only team that's close to this is what I have is Russell Wilson and Seattle Seahawks at 13 and three.
And then I have the Chiefs.
I believe it 12 and four.
And then, um, I believe I have the 12 and four Ravens can't remember exactly, but these states 14 into because their opponents, in my opinion or week, have the Panthers coming up with that win.
So the Panthers beat every team in this division this year, at least once.
They beat the Falcons once spoken years.
Once it's safe one.
So they go three and three in the division and then the Saints.
They go five and one in the division, so I think it's big there.
What are the odds that they go 14 into it? In your opinion, I mean, listen, I think 14 and two is is a lot more realistic for the Saints than 13 and three is for the Bucks.
I'll put it that way to start off with.
I don't I mean, yeah, they could go 14 into.
I have them going 13 and three.
I do have them losing to Kansas City.
But other than that, for the most part, pretty much agree would agree with you.
I mean, they got winnable games in that in that middle to the end of the season stretch where, um, where? I wouldn't be surprised if they got a real winning streak going and really ah, made.
They're made their case that they are the best team in the NFL, which I think they will be this year.
I mean, in the regular season anyway, who knows what's gonna happen in the playoffs goes The luck doesn't seem to go their way, as as we've as we brought up earlier.
But yeah, I say 13 and three, but 14 and two is a real possibility.
I wouldn't rule it out at all.
And I think I think it's, Ah, it's not out of the realm one bit, Yeah, I would agree, Like that's what I think 14 to.
But, you know, if they lose a few games here in that, like you said, it's more possible for them to go for Do you do? Then I think the books for them to go 13 3 putting it that way makes it seem a lot more realistic.
And, you know, this season we have more entertaining games than ever.
I think you know you have Saints and Chiefs.
We have states of Vikings, states of 40 Niners just for the ST States and Buccaneers.
We have Buccaneers and Packers, Buccaneers and Saints, Buccaneers and Chiefs.
I mean, we have some of the most entertaining games that we've ever seen, so that's where Adam So overall we have the States of 14 to Buccaneers a 12 and four and Panthers in 79 Falcons at three and 13.
But yeah, that's what I have the man and I'm gonna ask you a few questions now.
So for the NFC South, what are the chances? Just I don't know how to put it, but like, a percentage or something, that we see the Falcons in the Panthers that the Falcons are better than the Panthers this season.
Um, I mean, there's a chance that it could happen.
I if I had to put a percentage on it, I'd see I'd say 25 25%.
I mean, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna rule it out at all, but I'm pretty.
I'm pretty confident saying that we're going to see the Carolina Panthers finish ahead of the the Atlanta Falcons in the standings.
But you never know.
As we said, like, we don't know how Teddy Bridgewater is gonna dio.
I'm optimistic about how about how he's gonna do this season.
Meanwhile, Atlanta just basing it off of the past few seasons, I don't see much changing.
So that's why I think there's more upset on upside on the Panthers this season.
But then again, you never know.
Maybe the Falcons will surprise us in the Panthers.
There's always that chance.
So I'd say 25% maybe 30.
I'll give it 35.
Yeah. Oh, I'll go up by 10.
That's what all State is a chance.
So about 1/3 of 100% chance.
Um, but, you know, other than that, I think it's pretty good percentage for the Panthers to be higher than the chief than the Falcons.
And then after that, you know, the Buccaneers and states the chance that they saw, uh, excuse me, Swap.
I'll put that at a 15% or 20% chance.
What are your thoughts on that? 20% is fair.
Yes, around 15 20.
I I would be pretty surprised if if the Buccaneers did come in first.
But then again, you can never rule it out.
You can never rule it out.
I mean, Tampa Bay just looking a talent wise, they could They could be, Ah, you know, coming down to the wire in the season, you know, right with the Saints.
And maybe it will come down to the very end of the season to determine who wins the division.
But I I think the Buccaneers are just a step behind, So I thought I would be very I'll be very surprised if that were to happen, to be honest with you.
Yeah, I agree with you for sure.
I've got the light broken in my room over here, so it's very dark.
00 it's just we're getting a defence and so little bill.
All good, but, uh, yes, that's what I That's what I think so Saints, Bucks, Panthers, Falcons.
You know, I don't see that much of a change in the division.
You know, if I had to take anything, the mode, the best I could see is the Panthers of Falcon swapping out of all of these teams in here.
But overall, that's what I have.
And, um, I would like to thank everybody that did join this broadcast.
