all right. Hello, everybody.
And welcome back here on SportsCastr.
It's Monday night, Madden, between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers.
We've sorted out the technical difficulties, and during that blackout there, the Vikings did score touchdown.
Not sure how it happened, but they are in the lead, 10 to 71 14 to go in the first half, and Minnesota have the ball, as that is caught by Steph on digs.
What a move with the little Cheuk.
And he gets all the way out of the 35 yard line and the Vikings have 100 50 total yards as a time out is called by Minnesota.
So the Vikings are the ones with all of the momentum right now.
Stefon Diggs, with five receptions for 96 yards that he's accounted for about 2/3 of the amount of yards the Vikings have had in this game.
So a new set of downs for Minnesota, 61 seconds to go in the half.
Shotgun formation cousins connects it.
Step on, digs again.
Spin it, spending his way through, and he takes it to nearly midfield.
Tryingto get this ball into Green Bay territory, and they are 23 yards away from doing so, digs with 1/6 reception of the day, and he passes the 100 Mark Blake Martinez on the tackle.
The Vikings, though, move the chains once again, and they use their second time out of the half.
They've got one remaining with 55 ticks on the clock.
You here we go on first intent.
Cousins looking the throw, the pressure coming and he's taken down for the sack.
Oh, my, Oh, my husband's just had nowhere to go.
Kept to moving backwards, though.
And it's a huge loss of yardage on the play with 48 seconds remaining, and we're now freezing up a bit here.
Hopefully, it will come back shortly.
Yes, so it's just frozen here.
Let's see what Grant Stream is like now is is going right. Oh, there we go.
All right, we're Beck.
25 seconds left.
Cousins connects once again, and no surprise here, as it is Treadwell, with his first reception of the day 25 yard gain and with 13 seconds on the clock.
This definitely puts the Vikings in field goal range and let's see what they'll do here as time is ticking 10 seconds now on the clock.
They still got another time.
That looks like there's gonna run it out and call a time out with, Oh, while.
OK, there we go.
Yeah, they call a time out with three seconds left, as I originally expected.
And now they're gonna bring out the special teams unit.
And it will be Bailey to try to make it a 13 7 Vikings lead heading in the halftime.
Or at least that's what I assume they're going to do here.
So it will be from 53 yards out.
This is no easy field goal attempt here, Bailey, as time expires, a low driven ball and that is caught in the back of the end zone.
This is returnable.
How about this? Spins air spinning around there and taken down his punches.
A smart idea by the Packers that puts someone back there.
We've seen miracles happen on, you know, field goals that have been short and returned for a touchdown before, but not happen in that time for Green Bay, as that is halftime.
The Minnesota Vikings do have the lead, though They leave the Green Bay Packers by three.
It's 10 to 7 12 minutes in the books, and we've got 12 more remaining.
Oh, there was that judge down from Minnesota that we unfortunately missed.
When we were having some technical difficulties.
It was Devon Cook running it in for the T. D.
And thank you once again.
Ah Scott, for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate that.
All right, so, to the third quarter, we roll in this NFC North divisional rivalry.
The Vikings fired up there.
Definitely the ones with Mo Mentum.
Well, I appreciate that, Scott.
I appreciate a lot, man.
I appreciate that. Yep.
So to the third quarter here, Vikings up by three, and the Green Bay Packers will start in possession as the Vikings did start the game with the ball, so Bailey will kick it off.
It could have been the Vikings could have doubled their lead, had that field goal gone in.
But it was a 53 yard attempt that was well short from Bailey as time expired.
And so here comes the kickoff, and this will be returned from back at the 10 yard line right down the middle and out to the 33 goes Funches.
And he's averaging 25 yards per return.
And let's see if Aaron Rodgers can get this offense going for Green Bay.
Really outside of that, you know the touchdown pass that was a 67 yard pass to Adams.
Um, this cream bait Packers offense has been quite underwhelming outside of that one play, but they're only down by three here.
The Vikings have have scored Ah, a touchdown since the Packers took the 7 to 3 lead.
Look at the Russian arts, 44 to 1.
They were going to change that here in the second half as it will be handed off.
Right down the middle goes Jones.
We do have a flag down and the penalty is against the defense.
So Minnesota called for the penalty.
It's on Anthony Bar, a facemask penalty that's a 15 yard penalty, and the Packers move it ahead to the 48 yard line.
Already nearing Minnesota's half of the field, there were only six seconds into the second half asses.
Well, prime time action from Lambeau Field tonight, Monday night, Madden coming your way each Monday night here on SportsCastr.
We have MBA two K games on Thursday night and Saturday afternoon.
NHL 20 games on Friday nights and we have a We have Madden doubleheaders on Sunday afternoons as well as this is handed off to Aaron Jones doesn't quite get anywhere that time around.
And no gain on the place.
Second and 10 Upcoming for the Green Bay Packers, the Vikings have allowed all but five rushing yards.
It was Smith on the tackle and the passing yards, 1 34 to 85 in favor of Minnesota.
Aaron Rodgers gonna throw it here.
Pressure coming gets it away towards the sideline.
And that one's caught by Geronimo Allison.
It's third down in eight for Green Bay.
It was Kendricks immediately coming in action, right? When Alison made that catch, he was all over Alison to prevent him from picking up any extra yardage.
That time Rodgers play action, launches it.
Deep down field on that one was well off the Mark.
Rogers having a rough night thus far, and you can see it by that expression There.
He's five of 11 and it's another fourth down for Green Bay as they will have to punt.
Or will they? Yeah.
Okay, So Rogers heads to the sideline outcomes.
He can, you know, pin the Minnesota Vikings deep into their own territory here, as this one's well off to the right and it's out of bounds, it will be at the 36 yard line.
Well, he had the opportunity to pin them back, but that was really a atrocious pun That was nowhere near what JK Scott was looking for.
How about Stefon Diggs? He's been having himself a night still still a Viking in this in this game.
These are not updated rosters based on off season trades and acquisitions and even the draft as well, although on some Madden simulations that we have had in the past year on Sports Castle, they have been updated rosters.
But not for this game.
I'm not in control over that.
I'm not the one actually streaming these games.
I'm just doing the commentating hope, hopefully providing, uh, more entertainment for you guys tuning in as that is a seven yard pickup for Minnesota.
It's now second down in three.
The Vikings lead by three.
There you have it.
The total yards 1 85 92 minutes.
Soda in the rushing yards. 51.
Here is the snap, and it's handed off but met in the backfield right there.
I was feeling it's the third tackle of the night for Blake Martinez, and he's definitely been a huge presence.
Screen bait defense, and it's now a big third down.
Upcoming for the Vikings.
Kevin Cook in the backfield, Cousins looking the throw and it's incomplete.
You have 11 of 18 and it's Minnesota who will have to punt in Green Bay.
We'll have it back in their own hands.
3 35 to go defense the story of the second half.
So far that ball or that throw, I should say, might have been altered as cousins, you know, went through with the past thinking.
But because of the pressure coming, Adam is our might have been bumped.
Hence the incompletion.
That was well off the mark.
And this is another.
Both teams are having really, uh, awful nights when it comes to punting.
I really can't put it any other way.
That one was sky high and straight out of bounds.
Hackers now have it at the 48 yard line.
Thank you, Avery, for joining back, and we're just having some technical difficulties on the Madden stream.
So we missed the Minnesota touchdown, unfortunately, But we did see it on the on the highlight.
At halftime, it was Devon Cook running it in to put the Vikings in the lead.
The Packers, meanwhile, have the ball down by three were about halfway through the third.
Yeah, oh, well, and this one is caught, and that's a big gain on the play.
But there is a flag down and it is against the offense, so it's all coming back.
It's against Billy Turner, the right guard.
Oh, man, it was Roger's devolved, a scant ling.
But it doesn't matter, as it's a 10 yard penalty that moves Green Bay 10 yards back, and it's now first in 20 for the Packers.
That could turn out to be a very costly penalty.
All right, here we go.
One lined up to the two lined up to the far side, Rogers looking that way, and it's out of bounds, out of the reach of Alda's Scantlin, his intended target once again and second and 20 now, the Vikings staying very disciplined defensively.
Other than that one big play that led to a touchdown for Green Bay on a 67 yard touchdown pass.
Um, you know, the Packers offense hasn't gotten into any rhythm whatsoever.
Rogers in the pocket straight down the middle, and it's incomplete.
It looked as though do, Guara added in his hands, but eventually was poked loose by a looked like Kendricks.
Nicely done in man coverage there.
And it's now third end long for the Packers Aaron Rodgers with incompletion after incompletion.
Not all of them have been his fault, that's for sure, like the last one.
This will be a short throw, interestingly enough, and that is not even close to getting towards that first down marker.
In fact, only one yard gained on the play and the Packers once again we'll have toe send out the special teams units of Punch of the Way.
Let's see if JK Scott can pull off a good pun.
For once, it was Jimmy Graham with the catch.
He's no longer a Packer as well, Now a part of the Chicago Bears team member of the Chicago Bears, I should say, and so here we go, Scott, that's better.
A line drive and that will take a couple of bounces and deciding the players like ings right there on the return was Hollins and Minnesota will start a brand new drive from their own 19.
Dalvin Cook five.
Russia's 51 yards on the day and so a to 33 to go in the third quarter.
It's been the theme here since the start of the second half.
Let's see if it keeps up for Let's see if Minnesota can perhaps Teoh extend their lead and take a two score lead for the first time tonight.
Here we go, cousins.
Quick release towards the sideline.
That one's caught and it is sharp are now rather that stealing.
Excuse me on the catch.
2nd 4 for the Vikings.
The owners, three receptions for a total of 20 yards probably could have picked up an extra couple of yards there, but his momentum brought him out out of bounds.
And so here we go.
On second down and four.
Minnesota in the huddle, 188 yards so far.
Cook in the backfield.
Two receivers lined up Teoh Note.
Cousins launches it down the middle that one's caught, and it's taken into Green based half of the field.
What? We have yet another penalty marker, and it is on the defense, so that will be declined.
It's against Mike Daniels, and it's a first down Minnesota, the Vikings on the move here.
All right, the ball of the 28 yard line, the Vikings looking to get into the red zone, cousins quickly towards the sidelines.
Stepanek, of the catch aboard the tackle, wanted Cheuk down the sideline into the 15 yard line for a first down.
Kirk Cousins is now has the 200 mark when it's come to passing yards tonight and the Minnesota Vikings air.
Sure, lucky to still have step on digs on their team in Madden.
And, ah, maybe, if any Vikings fans are tuning in, perhaps ah, angry that, uh, this is the Stefon Diggs that they lost over the off season.
So first in 10 for Minnesota, Taison eventually was able to take digs down, but not before he juked out two or three green bait players is this will be headed off to cook, breaks the tackle and takes it inside the five first down and goal from the three yard line, and it's Williams with the tackle with 1 18 remaining in quarter number three cooks had a nice game in the When it's come Teoh the Vikings running the ball and they've really had a variety of play calls throughout the game.
Here we go, brand new set of downs from the three, the Vikings looking to take a two score lead and they'll hand it off.
That's toe ham, the fullback.
He only picks up a yard.
The Vikings with, uh two yards to go now on second and goal time, winding down here in quarter number three.
Not that that is a factor for the Minnesota Vikings right now, their focus getting in the end zone here.
Cousins is gonna hand it off yet again, and Cook gets right back to the line of scrimmage.
Well, it's Williams with this third tackle the game in.
I'll tell you what if the Packers can stop the Vikings one last time here, enforce them toe, settle for three that would keep it a one score game and would be a huge, huge stop for Green Bay.
It will be interesting to see if Minnesota decide to run the ball again or are cousins will put it in the air.
All right, so here we go.
This might be the last play before quarter number three comes to an end.
Unless, of course, Minnesota were able to get in the end zone here.
They've passed the ball 21 times.
They've ran at night.
What will they do here? It will be a toss over the Cook, and he walks in the end zone.
Minnesota and the Vikings extend elated, 16 7 And as long as the extra point is good, it will be a double digit lead for the first time tonight.
And that's a big touchdown right there for Minnesota.
Great play call by Mike Zimmer and Outcomes Bailey to attempt the extra point with just one second remaining in the third quarter.
So here comes the point after try, and that is directly through the uprights and good.
There you have it.
The scoring drive.
Six place, 48 yards in about 2.
5 minutes, and the Vikings in business here as they quiet down the crowd at Lambeau Field.
It's a 10 point advantage.
And this is a crucial drive coming up for the Green Bay Packers because the reality is on in Madden here on SportsCastr, just six minute quarters.
The time flies by, that's for sure.
And so here we go back to return it for Green Bay is Funches.
He's been the return man all game long for the Green Bay Packers.
And so the kick is up and that one will be returnable from inside the 10.
Funches, with good protection, takes it out to the 30 yard line.
Make it the 31 that brings us to the conclusion of quarter number three.
It's 18 minutes in the books, and we've got six more to go.
It was 7 to 3 the Packers after one, but the Vikings have outscored Green based seven nothing in both the second and the third quarter.
Let's see if that theme carries over here into the fourth.
Or if the Packers can get some momentum going offensively, they have a great opportunity to do so with Aaron Rodgers and company here.
The total yards, though not even close to 48 to 93 the Vikings dominating in that category, Rogers quick release finds Alison.
He makes the catch for a three our game, and it will be interesting to see if if the Packers decide to run the ball more.
Let's see, um, if Matt LaFleur, you know what his decision decision making is here in the fourth quarter, but looks like he trust Rogers.
Rogers throws it again, and it's out of the hands of Adams and complete.
You know, the only big play really by this Green Bay Packers offense of the game happen on their only points of the game.
That touchdown back in the first quarter, where it was a 67 yard touchdown pass from Rogers to Adam's down.
That left side line.
This time it's incomplete, and it's a big third down in seven for the pack.
Down the middle is caught in the Vikings territory.
Geronimo Allison with the grad, its first down Green Bay, and they're on the move.
Finally passed 100 yards as well.
It's about time for that here in the in the fourth quarter.
Rather, that was Walda Scantlin.
Excuse me with the catch. My apologies.
Bald is scant Ling that time around.
And so here we go, one man into the fourth and the Packers haven't the 44 yard line of Minnesota shotgun formation.
Aaron Rodgers down the middle, getting up to make the catch right.
There is Geronimo Allison this time around, and so now it's a it's uH oh, no, he dropped it.
What the heck? Okay, he dropped it.
In my apologies, I did not see that.
Should have been a catch anyways.
Maybe the throws.
A little high from Rogers, but Alison really should have done better with it, anyway.
Is now the Packers face second down in 10.
Roger scrambling throws it, and that one incomplete Adams, the intended receiver.
All right, so here we go from the 44.
It's now third and 10.
The Packers convert on 1/3 down earlier in the game.
Let's see if they can do so yet again.
Rogers, with good protection, throws over the top of the defense, and it is caught at the 20 and it's Jimmy Graham with the grab for a 24 yard pickup.
I guess both teams are using advantage of players.
They no longer have.
Vikings have been finding success using Stefon Diggs.
The Packers have been finding success using Jimmy Grant.
You know, just like that Green Bay into the red zone, making progress on this drive.
They do have to, you know, take time into consideration.
There's now for 25 remaining in the final quarter of play 54.
And so here we go.
On first down, intent Rogers connects, and it's caught.
Not not easily being taken down there.
He gets about two or three yards after contact.
It's a seven yard gain.
He has 83 yards on the day, of course, 67 of them, courtesy of that touchdown.
Thank you, Karam for joining back in here and the Packers not calling it quits quite yet as this throw to the sideline is caught by Graeme.
Still, plenty of time left, but a big third down into here, and it's 26 yards, four gram on three receptions so far, and he's been utilized quite frequently on this drive, in particular from the 11 yard line.
Will they run the ball? Will they throw it? They haven't run the ball yet on this.
Dr Rogers is going to throw and its clock for a first down.
Thank you, Sam, for joining the broadcast.
The Packers with a first and goal up coming.
And it is the running back Aaron Jones with the catch.
Maybe that fooled the Vikings Quite a bit coming into make the tackle. Four.
Minnesota Right there.
Um was, I believe, Kendricks.
From the six yard line.
We're past the midway mark of quarter number four here on SportsCastr.
And here we go, Green Bay first and goal, looking for a touchdown.
This will be tossed into the backfield and cutting his way in.
But not getting anywhere is Jones, and it's actually a loss of two yards.
Griffin with the tackle in the backfield, his first tackle of the night.
Really, Sam, that's honey.
Your dad had a dream.
He was on a football team as a running back, and I was the reporter.
2 18 left in the fourth holdings for a stop and vice to him and, uh, happy to be a part of your dad's dream.
I never thought I'd be saying that, but that's a throat towards the near sideline drawn miles and with the catch, third and gold.
No gain on the play.
And that brings us to the two minute warning.
We got 100 20 seconds left in regulation time, the Green Bay Packers looking for a comeback Here.
They're down by 10 at the eight yard line.
A touchdown would be ideal, and then the defense would be called into action afterwards.
But first things first.
A touchdown is the goal here.
Rogers holding onto it for quite a while.
It's picked off at the goal on Interception Viking.
Okay, we'll run it back.
Let's live it again.
There's the interception and it's picked off, and now it just keeps repeating here.
All right, so unfortunately, we're once again having some technical difficulties.
But you get extensive highlights here, that's for sure.
It reminds me of, Ah, what channel was it that used to show the Portuguese soccer league? They show the highlights, like 10 times over.
Oh, but anyways, we're having some technical difficult.
You're gonna get to see the interception more than once.
Let's see if Ah, what grants doing here? If his stream is having the same technical difficulties.
We had some problems earlier.
Um, but that should just about seal the deal, so I might just wrap up the broadcast.
And now it's gone black on grant screen.
Let's see if it does the same here or Yep.
You all right? So are now It's back on his.
All right, so we're about having the same issues here.
I'll stay on for maybe five more minutes, but, uh, that should just about do it for the Vikings.
That's a heartbreaking pick thrown by Aaron Rodgers.
They were They were having their best drive yet of this game, right when they needed it.
But, uh, I didn't even catch who is the one who intercepted that I can't know on the small screen.
So I'll give it five minutes and ah, if we can not figure it out, we're going to call it a night.
It does look like the Minnesota Vikings are gonna come out on top on Monday night, mad in this NFC North divisional rivalry.
We'll see if this is how it goes down on opening night.
They're opening ah week.
I should say in the NFL.
These two teams will meet each other week one.
We saw the schedule release this past Thursday, and, uh, a lot of people, including myself, were definitely Ah, excited to see one of these matchups.
You know, one of quite a number of matchups being, ah, entertaining ones just opening week.
So, um, yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna put a wrap on it, folks.
Hope you enjoy the broadcast here on SportsCastr.
I am Samuel Rea saying so long enjoy the rest of your night.
Looks like the Vikings will come on top.
I guess the thing about this is we'll never know.
We'll never know if they did, but I'm just I'm just gonna wrap it up here.
Thanks, Isaac, for joining.
We're having some more technical difficulties here.
Well, you've got the the ah, replay of the interception about Ah, probably 40 times now.
And, uh, yeah, so I'm just gonna end it.
They Oh, they did a different stream shoot.
Thank you for letting me know, Isaac.
I'm gonna end it here, and I'm gonna go. No, you're fine.
No, thanks for letting me know.
I would have never known if they did.
I'm gonna any here? I'm gonna start in 30 seconds to wrap up the end of this game.
Maybe the Packers pull off the miracle.
We'll see. I'll be I'll see you.
