dear Pats Nation.
What's going on? It's your boy Ray in Welcome to my little show here on DPM.
SportsTalk coming to live on SportsCastr for the first half of the show.
Simulcasting on YouTube.
So Tom Brady has left the New England Patriots he has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
What went wrong with bringing with the brainy negotiations? What type of team will the Patriots be this year? And what are some possible actual replacements for Thomas Brady? I'll be talking about all that and a lot more here on DPM because here is beyond.
We like football.
We like football season and everything that goes with it.
So, like the rest of you, I woke up this morning pretty, you know, ready for another day.
As of last night, we hadn't heard much on the Tom Brady front, but I was still, you know, prepared for anything to happen.
Let me tell you what kind of day I had today is like get up this morning, jump in my car, had to work.
Find out that there's gonna be an announcement from my premiere.
For those of you here in United States, America that be the equipment to your governor, so I'm on my weights.
Ah, I'm on my way there.
You know what? I'm driving to work and I get to work and we start watching the the broadcast.
And because we know we're dealing with all the Corona virus stuff over here, we find I find out that Miss my province of Ontario is going into a state of emergency and they're closing bars and restaurants.
And nonessential service is in the idea that, of course, we're all freaking out.
And I leave the room that we're watching it to start thinking about what? My next steps.
I'm a manager at my place of employment, So I got staff to think about it.
I got my family here to think about.
I'm thinking of my next steps.
Looked out on my phone, Go on Twitter and see the Tom Brady has announced he's leaving the Patriots.
I don't believe it because I see that kind of garbage all the time.
Go over to Instagram quick on Tom Brady's instagram accounts, and he's got a nice message for Pats Nation that I think like the rest of you just kind of broke my heart.
Brady wrote this.
I wanted to say Thank you for all the incredible fans and Patriot supporters, Mass has been my home for the last 20 years.
It has truly been the happiest two decades I could have envisioned in my life.
And I have nothing but love and gratitude for my time in New England.
The support has been overwhelming.
I wish every player could experience it.
My Children were born and raised here, and you always embraced.
This California kid is your own.
I love your commitment and loyalty to our teams.
And ah, winning for our city means more than you will ever know.
I can't thank you enough for the support for our team.
The pack training camps have sold out stadiums and mostly the victory parades.
I've been so blessed to share them with all of you.
I tried to represent us always in the best and most honorable way, and I fought hard with my teammates to help bring victory and triumph.
Even in the most dire situations.
You opened your heart to me and I opened my heart to you and pats Nation will for at always be a part of me.
I don't know what my football future holds, but it's time for me to open up a new stage of my life and career.
I thank you from the bottom, my heart, and we'll always love you and what we have shared a lifetime full of fun memories.
It's like the rest of you.
I read that and I think, Oh, my God and I really kind of just sat there.
It took me a while to sort of take it in, you know, and I'm trying to deal with all this other real life stuff at the same time.
I always talk about how sports is is the escape from real life.
And but every once in a while, real life in sports collide.
We've obviously with the MBA shutdowns and all that kind of stuff.
It collided there, and today sports collided with real life.
I think a lot of us were prepared for Tom Brady to leave.
I stayed pretty optimistic through the whole time.
That about Brady would return to the Patriots.
But I always said to you guys that I believe you know I understood and acknowledge there's a good chance that you know Brady could leave the Patriots, but always and that could never envision Tom Brady wearing another team's jersey.
I could never envision Tom Brady not playing for the New England Patriots.
And yet here we are in this situation, and I'll be honest with you, man. It sucks.
It sucks a lot, and I didn't think it was gonna stuck as much as it does.
I thought that I really thought that Tom Brady would come back or I thought if he did leave, I'd be fine with it.
I mean, theoretically and realistically, we should be okay with a 43 year old quarterback plane somewhere else.
But I've always said Tom Brady has always done what he shouldn't have.
You know, when you think about it, when you think about all he is accomplished in the real world of sports, in the real world afloat the football.
We knew until now Tom Brady should be long retired.
Jimmy Garoppolo should be our quarterback and grow and chair.
Brady goes down as the greatest of all time, retiring the Patriot.
Life is great, but Tom Brady has broken molds.
Tom Brady has brought us to places that we didn't know possible.
And he's He's changed the quarterback position, not just the way he plays, but how he takes care of himself.
And I don't want to say a little piece of me died today, but a little piece of me grew up today.
I was 14 years old when Tom Brady was drafted by the New England Patriots.
I was 15 when he became the starter.
I've told you guys, this is the past, too. I admit.
I was upset at the time when Brady became the starter because Drew was my guy.
Drew was my guy.
And then Brady became Brady.
One Super Bowl, two Super Bowls, three Super Bowls.
Couple losses in between 456 nine appearances in Total Morning, a C Championship games and Aiken, Remember? And a week before my oldest daughter turns 14 years old, the same age I was when Tom Brady got drafted.
He's leaving the team, and it's almost like today.
The little boy in me is gone. I grew up.
I officially became a man.
Today, I no longer have my childhood hero, and you know it's okay for us to thank Tom Brady and we should we should all be thanking Tom Brady for everything you did for this franchise.
I gotta admit, I wasn't happy with the people who were just ripping him today.
I thought it was awful.
I thought it was disgusting.
You don't have to cheer for Tom Brady to win a Super Bowl.
I was just on with Tyson over on masterwork on his YouTube channel, and I said, I don't you know, I don't know if I can cheer for him.
I can hope that nothing bad happens, but I don't know if I can share with them, cheer for him.
And then these statements came out, and this one is from Robert Kraft.
Makes it worse, This one says.
Here's what crafted about Brady.
How do I possibly some up the depth of my gratitude to Tom Brady for what he has given us these 20 plus years for the sadness I feel now knowing it's ending.
I love Tom like a son, and I always will.
He has brought so much happiness to me personally into all of our fans.
I had hoped this day would never come, but rather that Tom would end his remarkable career in a Patriots uniform after you had another Super Bowl championship.
Unfortunately, the two sides were unable to reach an agreement to allow the dream to become a reality.
While sad today, the overwhelming feeling I have is appreciation for his countless contributions to our team and community.
When Tom arrived in New England as an unheralded six round pick, no one could have imagined the fairy tale story that would have been written, the records that would have been broken or the joy that he would bring to the entire region.
He leaves 20 years as the winning his quarterback in the NFL history with six Super Bowl victories, nine a F C titles in 17 division championships, he has been an exemplary teammate and leader.
They're simply will never be another Tom Brady.
I now look forward to the day that we can bring it back to New England to celebrate his Patriots career, his endless achievements and his legacy as the greatest of all time.
I love him very much now.
I mean, we shouldn't have been shocked by Robert Kraft being disappointed.
Now I do got to say that Robert crafted a very good job of you did a really good job of making sure Bilbao check came out as the bad guy in this, completely removing himself from the Tom Brady signing.
Put it all on balletic.
We're gonna have to see what happens now.
There's a lot we can talk about legacies, and we can talk about what Bala check has to do in No, that kind of thing as a special treat for you guys here on SportsCastr.
I am going to upload because I think I can upload through SportsCastr.
I am gonna upload sometime tomorrow the one hour show that I did on Tyson's YouTube channel so you guys can see it on SportsCastr.
For those of you watching on YouTube, you can click the link to SportsCastr, and I was kind of like all right, so it all made sense.
You know, Robert Kraft decide Tom Brady is leaving.
I wondered how Bill Belichick would address it, and then Belichick puts out this, He says.
Tom was not just a player who brought into our program who bought into our program.
He was one of its original creators.
Tom lived and perpetrated our culture on a daily basis.
He was a tone setter in a bar razor.
He won championships and three of his 1st 4 years on the field and in three of his final six seasons with us while competing for championships in most every season in between.
This is a credit to Tom's consistency and what separates him.
He didn't just perform.
He didn't just win.
He went championships over and over again.
Tom and I will always have a great relationship relationship built on love, admiration, respect and appreciation.
Tom success is a player, and his character as a person are exceptional.
Nothing about the end of Tom's Patriots career changes how unfathomably spectacular it was with his relentless competitiveness and longevity here in everyone's adoration and will be celebrated forever.
It has been a privilege to coach Tom Brady for 20 years.
Examples of Tom's greatness are limitless, going back to even before he was drafted.
We witnessed how prepared he waas, uh, prepared when he wasn't playing how he performed when he got his opportunity, what he did to continuously improve his leadership, his mind set, the example he set and, of course, the person he is.
I am extremely grateful for what he did for our team.
And for me personally, sometimes in life, it takes some time to pass before you truly appreciate something or someone.
But that has not been the case with Tom.
He is a special person in the greatest quarterback of all time.
Not, of course. Is Bill Belichick.
Number one, Mr Belichick.
Why didn't you tell that the Tom Brady before he left? Because if you believe all the reports off Tom Brady was looking for was a little bit of R E S P e C T.
Just give him a little bit of respect.
I don't think it's unfair to believe that some of this is just PR.
We've, um you know, Tyson and I were talking about this tonight and it's definitely a PR move.
It's got to be a PR move.
Tom Brady has made the New England Patriots so much money, and I'm not here, Joe, I'm not here like I'm not.
I am not upset in the sense of, you know, they got rid of Brady.
I mean, way can't be upset that they got rid of a 43 year old quarterback like we all knew at some point at some time.
Tom Brady was not going to be the quarterback of the New England Patriots.
But then, you know, when you really think about you, break it down.
It's like no matter how prepared we were, we were never really prepared.
And I'm seeing a couple of comments and I know rhinos a big B B guy.
And you know, I'm about that guy, too, right? We're on the same page for a lot of things when it comes to Belle check.
Tom Brady's message was to the fans that didn't thank ballot shock.
Thank his teammates.
I know we had a personal meeting with Robert Kraft last night.
He never think Belgium it doesn't necessarily mean that he's Ah yeah, it was a 20 year marriage that went awry.
Let's face it, And Tom Brady's time in New England is no more.
And you kind of gotta think about like, what would rot like what were wrong in the Tom Brady Bill Belichick negotiations? How did? After 20 years of making the work, it suddenly couldn't work? And there's a whole lot of events and it's funny because, as I was preparing for this show, and I actually wrote a blogger about the Brady negotiations That's gonna come out later tonight.
But when I was when I was writing the show, it actually brought me back to this summer.
I was up at the cottage. I was.
I was up, I think, was the August long weekend or something.
Around that time I was up with Cottage.
I remember I was down at the beach.
It was back to back day.
The 1st 1 was that Josh Gordon was going to get reinstated.
The 2nd 1 knew that came out the next day was that Tom Brady had signed a new contract with the Patriots.
And it was, you know, a three year contract the first years for 20 million the other two years or some ridiculous, like 36 million.
But they were avoidable contract years above.
And if you go back and look at that video and at this time I remember saying, I don't worry about the voidable years.
The Patriots of Brady will figure it out next season.
You know, like I was just so excited that there was a contract sign because we heard a lot of the grumblings about Brady, and it's like, Okay, they made it happen and what not? And then But now you fast forward to now you fast forward to the day that it gets announced.
You know, Rapoport announces that Brady's signing for the with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is no longer a patriot, and suddenly that becomes a little bit more important.
So when you think about, where did the negotiations go wrong? The 1st 1 is that the Patriots gave him a chance to explore free agency.
That's the 1st 1 you know, when they gave him that raise last year.
I think a little bit was to appease Brady.
But let's face it, A lot of that was to move from salary cap around.
It was to open up.
Some space was to manipulate the cat.
That's what account.
That's why they put the they put the, ah, the two year the years automatically avoiding.
That's what the Patriots will be stuck with a $13.
5 million cap it with, You know what the patrons really wanted to really secure Hombre.
The balletic could've given given a three year contract and be done with it.
But and this is where I will defend Bill Belt Jack a little bit a defend Bill Bell check in the sense of Brady's an anomaly.
Brady Brady is not the norm if, and this is a big if.
But if Brady comes out this year and he regresses significantly and balance check IDs secured him 23 years, people would be ripping Balletic What are you doing? Giving a 42 year old quarterback was going 43 the next season, a three year deal.
Take them to lose 45 for all this money.
He was in a lose lose situation.
There would have been enough Brady loyalists to keep him intact, but we would have been there and I mean, yeah, and I'm looking to get comments.
Bobby, Joe, you guys all right, This year is could mean a lot for Brady.
Thais and I were talking about it.
I think you're talking.
If he wants to get rid of all the system quarterback stuff and all this kind of thing, we're talking in the NFC championship game.
I mean, he's got the team to do it.
He can't get frustrated with that.
With the players in Tampa Bay.
But here's the big thing, man.
You want to know why the Tom Brady New England Patriots? Tom Brady, Bill Belichick? Whatever you wanna call it you want? I want to know why the negotiations never worked Because Bill Belichick never made an offer.
You never made an offer.
Now I'm not lick.
Look, I'm not a general manager.
I don't even pretend to be an eighth of s smart around football and salary cap as Bill Belichick.
I've played enough Madden football.
I've played career mode enough times to know that if I want to re sign a player on my team, I have to offer him a contract.
It didn't happen and my mattered.
No, but I've seen the Tyson tonight.
What I wish is, you know, Tyson was upset that they disrespected them or they could even offer him a contract.
I'm not disagreeing with him, But my view was, if you're working off my conscience, if you knew you were moving on, if you knew that if you knew that that was gonna happen, why not have an amicable split? Why not do what the Chargers and Philip Rivers did they basically put out like a joint statement, and I've seen those kind of rumor that was like a one year, 15 million.
But from what I understand, that was the offer that was given last August.
That's not There was no offer given, and basically the Patriots were there waiting for Tom Brady to tell them what he wants.
Brady was sitting at home waiting for the Patriots to make an offer.
They had a phone call, apparently didn't go well in.
Now it's done, and I think what we might have saw, what we might have saw is a marriage that find that was falling apart.
But he couldn't take anymore.
And and, you know, we talked about it, you know, stay together for the kids.
You know, Tyson we're talking about.
I said the Lombardi Trophies were the kids.
Yeah, and every time you won one, it kind of brought you together.
We've seen it, stay together for the kids, and then you lose in the wild card game and then you lose in the, you know, the last game of the season to lose home field advantage in the buy.
And suddenly the kids are grown up throughout in college, and you just realize that this marriage isn't gonna work, and I think that that's what happened with Brady and Belichick.
I think that both of them wanna prove they can do it without the other.
I think there's more pressure on Ballots Jack to do it rather than Brady.
If Brady is not good this year, let's face it, If Brady's not good this year, Tom bring its 43 years old.
Now there'll be a few people that'll be like always a system quarterback, yada, yada.
And, of course, there will be.
Don't don't fool yourself, but it is not good.
This year. He's got excuses. 43 years old.
If the Patriots go 34 five years, as you know, nine win teams, 10 win teams may be wild card teams.
Then suddenly, people start believing, Oh, man, maybe we needed Maybe Bella check needed Brady.
If they both suck this year, Maybe they needed each other.
Let me think. That's what Tom Brady.
I believe Tom Brady has regressed a little bit.
That doesn't mean you can't play high levels.
That doesn't mean that he's still not one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
But what was the argument forever? Tom Brady makes the people around him better.
You can give him any supporting cast.
Look what he can do with Danny Amendola.
Look what you could do with Chris Hogan.
Look what you know.
He couldn't deal with Mohammad Sanu and McKeel.
Harry couldn't do with Jacoby Meyers.
So I think Tom Brady could still play in high levels.
If you give him the supporting cast and don't get me wrong, that's nothing to stop that.
There's been quarterback, so you give them the supporting cast.
They still can't do ****.
Look at Philip Rivers this year.
Look, Philip Rivers, he had the supporting cast. It couldn't do nothing.
This Tampa team's gonna make brave.
You look really, really good.
And there's a lot of rumors now that Antonio Brown was a part of this package and a lot of people still believe it's gonna happen.
Now you're talking Mike Evans, you're talking.
Oh, gee, Howard, you're talking or O.
Howard, you're talking, um, Antonio Brown like you're talking some really, really, really crazy ass good players.
And they got a pretty decent offensive line two.
And let's face it, guys.
Tom Brady was miserable last year.
He was miserable as a patriot.
I don't think that Tom Brady wanted to be a patriot anymore.
I don't think Bill Belichick wanted Brady to be a Patriot anymore.
And instead of getting together like gentlemen having an animal split, amicable split, we got this.
I wrote a blogged today.
It was called Tom Brady's Leaving the Patriots, and all we can do is say thank you.
It was basically an open letter to Tom Brady, and I'm gonna read it to you guys.
It's a dear Tom.
You and I will probably never meet.
I doubt you'll even read this letter, but you've been a part of my life for so long.
It's hard to imagine going through a football season without you.
I was 14 years old when you were drafted in 15 when you took over as the starting took the starting job away from Drew Bledsoe.
And I'll be honest with you.
I can't say that I was happy at the time.
20 years later, I couldn't imagine the Patriot without number 12.
I also find it fitting that you joined the Patriots when I was 14 and you're leaving.
The Patriots of my oldest daughter is 14.
It's almost like the circle of life is complete.
As a Patriots fan, I knew that this day would come and eventually, but it doesn't make it any easier.
I wish I could tell you that it will fall.
You follow you wherever you go, but I can't.
I will forever be a Patriots fan, but I do wish you the best of luck.
Thank you for the memories, the parades, the joy and the pain throat, this crazy world that no matter what's happening, I could always turn the football.
And because of this, I could turn to you.
You embraced the Patriots way you set the culture.
It was you who preached team first, and that's why I feel comfortable saying to you, Thank you for everything you did for this team and then turning to the next man up.
That's the Patriots way, and I'm sure you of all people, well, understand that.
So what type of team will the Patriots be now that Brady is no longer there? Quarterback and will they still be good and who are some possible replacements to replace Tom Brady.
I am going to be talking about all of that.
And then I will take your questions here in the live chat on Lee on SportsCastr.
And right now, this is the time that I need to say goodbye to YouTube.

Appreciate when you guys come in and show me the love and ah, it's really Ah, I really appreciate it.
Really appreciate what you guys are here.
Thank you. Thank you, Thank you.
So what type of team will the Patriots be? Will they be good? Those are obviously questions that everybody has.
Yes, I think the patriots will be good.
I do not think the Patriots will be great.
I think that's come two completely different things.
You're either really good.
You're the good or you suck.
And then there's great.
I don't think the Patriots are going to be great.
But I also don't think they're gonna be any worse than they would have been with Tom Brady.
Not because of Brady, but because of the supporting cast around him.
We heard rumors that Belichick was in on the DeAndre Hopkins trade, couldn't make the move.
I mean, they gave him away for nothing.
The stuff, the stuff and digs trade the gave up way too much that would have crippled the Patriots for too long.
I have no problems with not being in on the dig straight, but he could have made it. He could have.
He could have given up something for DeAndre Hopkins.
Maybe by that point, I knew he was gonna lose Brady. I don't know.
Pages got a ton of draft picks.
I believe that they're gonna use it to address the offensive line.
I believe they're going to do it to address the tight end, and I believe they're going to do to address the wide receiver.
That's the three positions I see them really addressing in the draft.
Probably the linebacker position, too.
What? We're talking about the offense right now, but I just think as a team.
What? You're going to see if you're gonna be You're gonna see a run heavy team.
What that's gonna look like? I don't know.
I had somebody today asked me about, um you know, Well, Damien Harris get some touches this year.
It all depends on it all depends on how what they do with Rex Burkhead.
I mean, they got a full complement.
Sony, Michelle's, Rex Burkhead, soniya James White and Brandon Bolden are all coming back.
I think I think Brandon Boldin's untouchable.
I think Brandon Bolden for special teams is untouchable.
So who are they gonna go with? Therefore, that's got to be the question.
So I got to see maybe they move on from Birkhead, save a little bit of cap and then you move forward with that.
But I think they're going to run heavy team.
They're gonna bring in a game managing quarterback.
I think that's gonna be the big one that's gonna be a gay managing quarterback and then defense.
That brought back Devin McCourty.
Tyson made a really good point today, too, though, and said that he believes they re signed Slater McCord e.
Because of the leadership because they knew Tom Brady was going and they needed that leadership in the locker room, especially for the young guys.
When you think of the John Williams, the J. C.
Jackson's on the defensive side on offense, you think about, um, the Kill Harry Jacoby Meyers, even a Jared Stadium.
You think about all those guys and it's, you know they're there for leadership.
But I think the Patriots come play, run, have you game manager defense.
Don't expect them to be explosive.
That's what I got to say.
Don't expect him to be a huge explosive team.
Oh, jeez, Expect them to be.
Expect them to tow. Be okay.
I think a worst case scenario for the Patriots would be them being a decent team, winning 9 10 11 games.
Being a wild card, not really being Super Bowl contenders.
Now you're out of the draft run.
You're out of everything.
You know, it's it's gonna be guys.
It's gonna be a weird, weird season.
I'm seeing a lot of people coming over from YouTube to come over and check me out on SportsCastr.
Thank you guys for coming in.
If you watch me on YouTube regularly.
Thank you for joining me on, SportsCastr.
I'm here every night of the week.
Bobby, why don't you run them through the rules of when I started answering questions in that kind of thing, Just so they know.
So I know a lot of the YouTube crew comes out and they try to ask me 100 questions, and I won't answer them.
And they think I'm just being a ****.
So thank you, Bobby.
Always, always, always.
I answer all you guys questions at the end of the show.
Chris is on a two. Thank you.
And I will answer everything you guys got for me, and we'll go from there.
The newbies calm newbies.
Yeah. We can't expect to be explosive.
You can't expect the patriots to be this, just, you know, out of the box.
You know, crazy ass offensive team, possible Tom Brady replacements.
This is actually a thing.
Now, remember when we used the hypothetically talk about who could possibly replace Tom Brady one day? This is now a reality for us.
I don't know how happy I am that this is really I was so ready, Joe.
You and I have talked about this man, Bobby, I think you and I have talked about it too.
We were I was ready to move on from Tom Brady.
I could accept it.
I was excited about the possibilities of, ah, what the future could bring.
And then it became a reality.
Today I'm still excited, but not inside of the lot of you.
So you got possible replacements.
The 1st 1 is actually probably the most obvious one.
And it's Jared Stadium.
I'm I don't know how I feel about Jared's did him, And all you talked about is being over and going.
I was completely over it and I got none of it.
I got a ton of the body.
Ah, but no, Um, I don't know if he's gonna be a good starting quarterback.
I don't know if he's going to be the guy, but but but But does Bill Belichick see something in Jared Stadium that we don't? I think I talked about Jordan Palmer, too, and Jordan Palmer, Carson Palmer's brother.
He's become a bit of a go.
Ah, quarterback guru.
He's working with Joe Burrow right now.
He still works with Jared Stadium.
He's worked with guys like Shawn Watson.
I think you worked with Patrick Mahomes a little bit trying some of the other players he's worked with, and he came out last week unprompted, and he believes at least has been in that.
Jared City is gonna be a star in the NFL one day.
Now may not be this season what he believes is gonna be a star.
And I'm looking at some of his comments like Chris's and you're absolutely right.
Nobody, you know, Did anybody look at the 199th overall pick and believe, Hey, man, this guy's gonna become the greatest quarterback to ever play markets like guy, your brother.
Don't forget, man.
Um, whoever takes over for Tom Brady, whoever becomes the Patriots next starting quarterback.
You're in an awful awful position to be in, like who wants to play after Tom Brady? The expectations? Because, look, we're still gonna feel.
Here's the thing Patriot fans, especially if you're a young Patriots fan.
But even Yogi's man who remember the bad days we're so entitled we're so used to the Patriots being good, it's gonna take us to a wild to get used to being a regular football team again.
I don't wanna I gotta break it to you guys that this is what's happening.
But Jared System could be the guy.
He could be good enough and it could be good enough to bring us through.
I got to Seymour him.
I watched this time.
I know Joe sent me.
It was a joke Who sent me something today, and it was, Ah, talking about 2018.
They saw him as a late first round draft pick E.
And then he went about 2017.
They saw a late first round draft pick.
Then he went back to school, and it was really It was really interesting.
You know what? I'm gonna pull up the article, Joe.
Did you send it to me? **** it, Or did you tweet it at me because I'll put the link if you d, I'll try to put the link in the ah, in the box here, but I think you should read it.
It's actually pretty interesting thing.
And we're talking to all the big draft boys who all believed he was gonna be Ah, hi.
Round pick, and then he went back.
And to be fair, to be fair, to stitch him, it seems sucked, you know? I mean, like, his team absolutely stunk.
Ah, given that it's here, it looks like Joe Joe, can you put the link to the article in the box? I can't.
I can't find it if you if you know where it is.
If you don't, don't worry about it.
But, um, yeah, he could be a guy.
Obviously, another option for the Patriots is a draft, right? Look at a guy like Jordan love.
Obviously, they're not gonna get to our Joe Burrow.
I mean, let's not get let's not get stupid.
But you'll know that I'm I'm big on Jordan love.
I think that he could be a great patriot.
I don't know if he would be a great patriot today right away.
That's my only concern is I don't know how long it's gonna take for him to be NFL ready, but I think he could be great.
Obviously, Justin Herbert, Jacob Eastern is an option.
Belichick may have to trade up for a couple of these guys.
I think his bump now they believe is going to go in the top 20.
Which jobs May's became from Jake From is an option.
I know that Rhino would be all over Justin Harbor because he could have his Oregon boy come all the way back over and help out.
Yeah, Jalen hurts should be a late round pick, so there's a lot of options in the draft now.
If they wanted to move away from the draft, they could go look, um, not some veterans that could be available.
I don't think it's gonna be Cam Newton.
I know that the names have gone around that I do not have a mindless.
They're Joe's got the link there.
So take a look at it.
Obviously, Jamis Winston will now be looking for a team.
Um, if you were on my show, I think it was last week of the week before when I discovered he's thrown 88 interceptions.
He kind of fell off my list.
Um, I had a pretty pretty strong reaction to Jameis Winston to the point that I think it's stopped the whole show.
I think I saw like, three more quarterbacks to go through, and I spent like 15 minutes talking about Jamie's Weston's 88 interceptions that it stopped the entire show, and I laughed after that. I said, Thank you.
Um, but Jamie's winces.
I would be looking for a team I don't know.
I truthfully don't know what he would demand of money.
I don't another interesting option, even though the Colts have talked about keeping him and putting him behind Philip Rivers.
Who, by the way, I think you all know by now, um, signed with the Colts today, what could Joe Jacoby percent be available? And was Bill Belichick happy with what he saw out of percent while he was a patriot? We all know that they drafted Jacoby percent because Tom Brady was gonna get suspended right? They needed to carry three quarterbacks and they brought in percent and his one game he played for the Patriot.
He didn't throw a touchdown.
He ran one in, and I think the defense shut out. Houston.
But he looked pretty decent with the Colts.
And do you play two and 1/2 games? One and 1/2 games, played one and 1/2 games, No.
You're right. You're absolutely right. And then they lost the bills.
McChicken Lodge, right? He came in in the Miami game, beat the Texans.
They went to three, you know? Then they lost of the Bills. And Rex Ryan.
I remember that.
Imagine the irony of the wolf Pack.
Could you imagine if you got Tom Brady facing off against Jimmy Garoppolo in the NFC championship, only to come take on Jacoby percent in the finals? The chicken logs is my my my news breaker.
He's my He's my producer.
That gives me the breaking news.
So I would never question you make chicken blog's.
I would never ever question you.
I'm also happy on Twitter that you finally put ah, a picture up of the chicken sandwich.
I was getting a little messed up with just the gray, but then you get into the game manager and the name that nobody wants to hear.
The cringe name.
The one that I know.
You're all gonna go.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
That's a deviant reporter.
Um, that that's the other option, right? Um, I'm not a fan of bringing in Andy Dalton.
If you want to hear the funniest reaction the world, it's just a two minute interaction.
It's Tyson and I talking about Andy Dalton and in the possibility.
And listen, though, for all of you who follow me and masterwork on YouTube because obviously he's a very different channel than I am, right, Like he's a very different guy.
So I always suggest you watch both of our contacts are both of our shows.
I told him how badly I look forward to him.
Talk, making smack talk videos and using Andy Dalton as our quarterback.
Just think about the irony.
Think about how funny those videos would be of Tyson on his high horse talking about our Andy.
Andy Dalton is gonna be whatever the Patriots are beating that week.
Apparently, ballot check likes him.
I don't know why, but apparently Ballot Shack is a fan of the Andy and, you know, good for him if that's what he wants.
Uh, look, guys, it's not me saying this ****.
I'm just telling you what other people in the world are saying.
And other people are saying that Bill Ballot Shack likes Andy Dalton because of his veteran leadership, and I don't know what else to tell you.
Like I don't know what else to tell you.
I'm in the same boat as you guys are right now.
We have to replace Tom Frickin Brady, and the conversation is about Andy freakin Dalton.
But it still be hilarious to watch Tyson have to make those videos.
It really would be all right.
Maybe the problem of Dalton is is there is a Departments I thought, my darling, you know, that could be one of the greatest comments I've ever read in my life.
The only way that we're getting travel. Lawrence's.
We got a tank this year, and I just look, I don't think Bala checks ego would allow him to tank.
To be honest with you, I just I I hope so.
I would love to go forward Trevor Laurence, but I just don't no.
If Bala checks ego, I don't think the team is set up the tank.
That's the other problem.
Bill really likes Blake Bortles.
Imagine the boat playing with my parents.
Oh, Blake Bortles I could not imagine.
I could not imagine.
Oh my God, that's just that's just crazy.
That's just a crazy thing.
I wish she could tank because he loves the cheese like Cam Newton's athleticism, but not a huge fan of his attitude.
I actually love Cam Newton's attitude, but I'm also an arrogant, you know, ****.
So it kinda we kind of Ah, like two peas and applied.
No, man, it's It's good. It's good.
Ah, yes, Ah, Travis Key.
Travis Key would be the absolute Oh, that's where it's an Andy Dalton Mitchell.
True, Boesky. Joe.
Don't even bring that to the table.
Ready to see my comment about.
I didn't want tanking.
I want the Patriot Way markets.
We all want the Patriots to win.
We all want the Patriots.
Is everybody else seeing the show okay, or is it just rhinos? Phone Just so we know there's nothing I can really do about it now.
The show's almost over, but just wondering.
Do you think that Bill goes all in this year for a Super Bowl or trade side to get more caps, base and draft picks in order to rebuild? I think that he's going to try to build through the draft this year and still be competitive I think you're going to see him.
That's look, we still got the best secondary in the NFL, Like by far by far.
We've got the best secondary in the NFL, which hurts any sort of tank.
Know what I mean? That's the problem.
And Ah, okay, I'll stop talking about quarterbacks running.
We have such a good secondary and that it would Ah, you know why Brian Hoyer.
Sway right? I got to talk about a quarterback here.
Brian Hoyer would be a very, very interesting pick up because he's been a starter in the past.
It's not like he's hot garbage or anything of that nature.
He's really smart.
I mean, he basically was the game plan like this.
He's a Super Bowl champ and he can't.
He basically told the geek gave all the tells of the Rams like he's a good study or film, too.
So I don't know.
It's interesting. It's interesting.
Look, we're We're now at that point of our lives where we got to talk about things.
I forget his name too.
I'm not that interested in the four diners Back up.
Uh, the hell's his name.
Ah, I can't remember.
Make checking logs will tell me he's my guy.
The chicken logs just d m e the newest Patriots jersey.
Why do I feel like Well, that's your New Jersey sweet jerk that gets you? That's sweet Jersey.
I love Flutie before he went to back to the NFL.
I love Flutie when he's a Toronto Argonaut.
Um, sorry, guys.
I have totally, totally, totally lost Y'all.
I'm excited to see what Chase one of us could do this year, too.
I think they're gonna move back to linebacker.
I think he's gonna play in kind of a noise position.
It's got the athleticism athleticism to do it.
I think that he's gonna look pretty pretty solid.
Ah, could the Bills have more ex explosive now that they have digs? Look, man, if Josh Allen can get his **** together, the Buffalo Bills could be one of the best offenses in the NFL.
Like maybe next, like Baltimore and ah, in Kansas City.
To be honest with you, I'm now my chat is never this busy.
My God, I love it. I love it.
Ah, Do you think we can try to sign a free.
I would love Robbie Anderson if we're going to re sign.
If you and Tyler Eifert is the tight end, I just know what the pages you could do with money.
They're almost out of money.
That's one of the biggest problems.
They literally spent their money and Devon accordion Joe to me.
So we're probably gonna be in a situation where a lot of our guys going to draft picks going forward.
I have a feeling they're gonna try to restructure Dante High Towers contract because you can't get rid of High Tower now, not with Collins and Ah and Oh, my God.
Don't take that.
If they took Dante, if you took Brady and High Tower away from me in the same year, I mean number one, like three quarters of my jersey collection I couldn't wear until they retire.
Do I have three? Brady's? I would Josh Gordon that I can raise those air four right there.
I've got to add elements.
I need him to retire second. Wear it always.
Birkhead has probably gone.
That's an autographed jersey, so I don't have to get rid of that jersey.
I don't wear that jersey, But don't take away my high tower jerseys.
My my heart could not take losing Dont'a Hightower right now, like with this whole cope ID or in Krone Virus thing and and Tom Brady leaving.
If you took Dont'a Hightower away from me, I think I would actually go into Lake a full depression.
No Pats fan is burying Brady's jersey.
Get out of here with that ****, dude, who's burying Brady's jersey? Oh, Pat.
Fans are going to start burning TB 12 jersey.
I hope they better not be burning.
So I missed that comment.
Best not be burning Brady jerseys.
I think the bills will take the what all the bills will take. The East.
Yeah, Sorry I missed the S.
Even if I hated the player, I would not burn a jersey.
Like if somebody gave me a jersey of like the Miami Dolphins jersey like I'd find a Dolphins fan.
No expensive jerseys are such a money.
It's such a waste of money.
Sadly, my God is too big for my Brady jerseys, so I can't wear it anyways.
All that great Pick it and you can't.
You're not losing your still the guide? Or do you do the way like when I do that kind of stuff like that? Like one for their one for me, One for their one for me.
That's what I would do.
At least Patriot re signed Count Davis.
I'm not gonna go all crazy for that one.
It's a good pick up.
I mean, it's a good signing that they're just basically building the same team class here.
Just know Tom Brady.
Oh, the Patriots are signing free agent wide receiver to mere bird.
Where were you on that one? Make chicken Blog's.
Hey, where were you on that one? I've been I When did that happen? I've been on the I've been I've been with Tyson's in 7 45 Yeah, I see.
A couple hours ago, I was busy.
I've been streaming for two hours.
Would you know, by the way, is killing me to beyond this long? Like I've gotten so lazy. The streamer.
I am not looking forward to the season starting again and calling games.
Having to be on it for, like three and 1/2 hours.
Ah, special during preseason.
Actually, I'd be happy to have sports back, though, so I shouldn't say that.
I just want to be honest to God.
I just want to be alive When football season starts.
This I'm have you can be straight with you guys for many guys.
Right. Can I be straight with you guys for a minute? You're that informed.
Hey, Marcus broke the news.
I'm happy, buddy.
I'm happy. I'm happy with Marcus.
But I gotta be honest, guys, man.
Like I'm getting a little scared with this Coronas ****, man.
Ontario went into Ah, Ontario went into a state of emergency today.
And, uh, like we're not letting I'm a social worker.
I think a lot of you guys know that we're not letting clients in the door anymore.
We're only doing things over the phone, my staff or panic.
I'm off Thursday, Friday, which is usually a day that I'd like, take my kids out and stop there on spring break right now.
But we're just going to you.
Ah, it's gonna be hiding in the house, man.
I also love people.
Don't know this.
I have Ah, I have an underlying heart disease and kidney issues.
So I'm one of those high risk people.
So if I'm just not here one day, uh, you know what happened? Just No, no, I always promised.
I always said that if anything ever happened me, I made my wife promise me that somebody in my family would come online on all my social media stuff and let you guys know him, Dad.
Then you could all mourn me and, ah, say a lot of nice things about me, and I'd be really disappointed in you because I want you to point out my ******* nous not my niceness.
Okay, if you guys can all do me that favor, if I die, I want you guys to point out my ******* nous.
So, yeah, I'm staying inside myself to work though.
My work still open.
We're not We're not shutting down for some godforsaken reason that I don't understand.
Hopefully it will soon.
Hopefully it's done.
Yeah, it's all about money, man.
I it's socks where you lost Brady can't lose any of us to the viers.
Absolute man. We all got to stay strong.
Hopefully this is over in a couple of months and ah, you know. That's that.
Guys, there is no second in command and dp I'm this is it me, myself and I Come on.
You don't want nobody else taken over this brand.
Are you kidding me? I tried that.
Don't you remember when I tried that, it was a disaster I tried to get.
I tried to re brand with somebody else.
I love you, Marcus.
Yeah, Matt Man. Matt Garcia.
Kid tried hard, man. He tried hard.
The kid tried hard, but that was a bloody disaster.
He never got it.
I wished it would have worked for him.
Well, no, actually, I don't.
It's because it didn't work that I'm back because the whole plan was was to turn everything over to him and just take the money, but yeah.
All right, guys.
We're now at the 58 minutes 57 2nd mark.
So happy that a bunch of new people came in.
Thank you so much for coming in.
Thank you so much for Rhino, who seems to not be picking g****s anymore.
Bobby, who must be just drinking cups and cups of coffee before coming on because he's just not crashing out on us.
chicken logs is always kind of let me down tonight.
Kind of let me down tonight with the bird news.
But besides that, my stats guy, my news guy, all that kind of stuff.
Oh, freakin Donald, do your path nation I can do anymore the a pass nation DEA pets.
I don't know we're doing on but the winery, not the vineyard.
Do you guys have it in Australia? Like is the krone hit in Australia? Give me one second here, guys.
It's your Boyd's on your Donald. You welcome.
I'm bringing you this heavily edited, pre recorded live video for your entertainment purposes.
Can you believe that? Tommy blew I brainy had the gall to leave the New England Patriots and leave us hanging just like that ******* Rob Gronkowski.
Oh, it's all I could.
D'oh d'oh! Ah, You guys got a little bit of you guys Got a little taste of it for those of you have no idea what that is.
Thank you, guys.
Thank you sports guys to forgive me the opportunity to come out here each and every night.
Talk to past age of football fans from all over the world.
Thank you to all of you who came out here and support me every single night with that all you I would just be nothing.
I just be some crazy ass, fake ass Boston accent talking about nothing talking about the New England Patriots and Tom Brady leaving the team.
Now all we got is Julian Edelman.
What the hell are we gonna do with him? Oh, God, I haven't been this disappointed since I saw Peyton Manning's forehead walk into a Flannigan's bar.
I can't take anymore.
I gotta go talk to Patty.
I gotta have a beer while out of here.
Thanks so much guys to care.
You're welcome, CIA.
