force was the highly anticipated N betrayed deadline.
We had a few a few moves get made.
Um, I'll discuss a few.
You know, it's kind of what I consider, like the the big Five hour kind discussed.
Does what I'm gonna be doing is presenting my g****s for each team.
We had a few good trays and a few that kind of major raised eyebrows.
Get my underwear just in the rock on.
Yeah, we had a few ah, few teams make some trace.
That were kind of eyebrow raising.
So, um, I'm gonna break down the big five, their impact on those scenes that impact on what it means for the rest of the way and potentially what it means for the future.
So we have five big tray for gonna unpack, and I will discuss when, ah, what the implications are.
No trees could be.
Let's start off with the Clippers, the Knicks and the Wizards.
The Clippers received markets Moors and Isiah Thomas, who's expected to be waived.
The Knicks received Mo Harkless and a 20 21st rounder, and the Wizards received into wrong Robinson.
So for this trade, I'm going to get the Clippers their report caught would be a I'm giving the Clippers a because they made a move.
So both of their chances of making a postseason playoff run.
So the Clippers, they deserved A for that, um, they basically add another wing defender to help out with Koala.
Excuse me, they added on the wing defender to help out with Kawar and PG defendant know potentially LeBron potentially, You know Jamal Murray and James Harden it Russell Westbrook.
So the Clippers made a move to both of their front line in the wing defence, so I have to get the Clippers at a.
They also kept the Lakers from getting Morris, but so by getting Maura's, they kind of you look great in the sales and a hint of the Lakers could I think the Lakers needed on the wing defender along with some guard play.
The Clippers were already in my free season favorite to make it out of the ways, and with this move, I think the Clippers would be the head and shoulders favor in the West.
So I get the Clippers A the Knicks receiving Mo Harkless in the first rounder.
I gave him a C plus, and I'm giving the Knicks a C plus because the heartless for more swap, it's basically even slot.
Both guys are on expiring contracts, so they make the money work.
So they didn't really gain or lose anything on that regard.
But by getting at 20 21st rounder, at least the Knicks got something out of the more straight because, if not doing loser for nothing this summer.
So because the Knicks did 20 21st rounder, I would give them a C plus and the Wizards trade as their time is, who's gonna be, could He just keeps getting quote unquote done dirty, because ever since he had a hip into it, Boston as it has been bouncing around, he never got this Max deal.
So you kind of feel bad for the guy.
But I think we all know that's the way of the MBA.
So for the widows requirement, Jerome Robinson, I'm giving that a f.
It doesn't do anything.
And that's what Isaiah, um, he was playing pretty decently.
The Wizards were cottages, you know, high octane offense.
So, um, you know, because the wizards didn't really do it didn't really benefit from the trade at all.
It was really a one sided trade.
The Clippers got the best asset that Nick's got the bit the second best ass it with the first rounder and that was it and get anything.
So I'm giving a wizard's elf.
All right, let's roll it out.
Second trade, um, the heat acquiring under equal dollar.
Hey was a distressed asset over on the Grizzlies.
He was basically sitting out, holding out until he got traded to somebody he deemed a viable contender.
So the heat receive under Equal Dollar Jae Crowder and Solomon Hill.
The Grizzlies received Justise Winslow, the waiters and Georgie Jane and a Timberwolf proceed.
Um, a few thoughts on the heat, the trade itself, what they received back.
I'll give it a B plus.
I can't go into hiding a B plus because I think Eagle Dollar has become overrated, because what he did with the Warriors keep him on Steph Curry, Clay's Humps and Kevin Durant Draymond Green.
Those guys are game changing players.
Equal dollar at best had to be the fourth of fifth best player.
I think his here's a resume or his status has kind of become overinflated just because of him being on those Warriors teams and getting the M V p of the finals and because LeBron and go from 45 50 I mean, he still stole two games on and you'd had Carrie or Kevin Love.
I think the Cat's wouldn't want a certain 2015 but that's neither here or there in regards to this trade, even, obviously, not all year.
He's gonna take a while to find his legs.
And last thing on the court.
In my opinion, I thought he would.
Dollar was washed.
So, in my opinion, acquiring even Dollar for the Heat, you could be good for that leadership.
Let the same time.
I don't think he's moving the leader for us a title.
Contenders getting Jake product on expiring deal.
That could be big for the heat, because when you go down Metro five Crowder half the size and the girth, where he can play that four for you.
So I think crowd it was a good pick up a Solomon Hill who doesn't want expiring.
He may not even getting the rotation just because of when you think about they still have Kelly Olynyk Meyers, Leonard and other people.
Hill may not even credibility ation, but because he's on the expiring deal and he are trying to conserve cat space for 2021.
Um, having hell isn't a bad thing, because after this season, he come off the books anyway.
Uh, so But he I gave him a B plus and I want to see how they worked on a roster now because they still have Jimmy, you got heroin.
You know, Dr Robinson know they've had so many young guys emerged.
Do you want to give Equal Dollar and Crowder those 2025 or even 30 minutes and take away from these young guys? Because the heat they're known for building and look great young players like guys come in and work hard.
They learn on the Pat Riley, Spolar, Alonzo Mourning and all those guys.
So I want to see how the heat managed this rafter with equal dollar and crying coming in because they added before reason, they're added for the event leadership that that experience and to be, you know, major contributor.
Come playoff time, I want to see household managed in rotation.
Let's go to Memphis.
I gave the Grizzlies for receiving Winslow waiters and Jane, you know, they're gonna probably waiver buyout waiters.
I gave the Grizzlies and a for the street because the main thing was they're either gonna lose equal dollar for nothing by not trading here or basically just, you know, he just sit it out, and I mean, the guy's airlock when we're kind of having a problem with it.
So they got something back for even dollars.
So that's one key component.
And again, I say hell and crowded, We're on inspiring deals.
So you got back assets for debt with with Winslow and Jane.
So you got that two bit players and you got asked.
I think the Grizzlies deserving a fair trade, Um, with those on the contract for this year, Of course, in two more years.
So maybe it doesn't have to worry about trying to pay this guy because he's already lot **** for the next two years.
Around 12 13 I believe in gorging.
He's locked in for this year and he's locked in for one Maur additional season.
So you get Jane, and that kind of boasted of your front court while reading with Down in Tunis.
Jackson and Brendon Clark, who's having underrated Goodyear.
So you get a you got a four man front and you're at Winslow in to go with John Moran.
So I had to get Memphis away from the straight.
What they're doing this tray.
If it could potentially lock up the eight spot warm because they're healthy, they're young and, well, the Spurs didn't do anything.
We get it if as well, because they didn't do anything.
And then the Blazers, The Blazers have made other moves like they When they got a reason earlier this year, of course, they brought in mellow and things like that.
But for right now, I think Memphis has a stranglehold on the A C.
I mean, they're playing 500 ball and the bring back productive players in this is what you already have.
The Grizzlies could be on track.
Thio lock up that a CSI and potentially finished with a record above 500.
I gave the Grizzlies and a and the walls.
They only got back James Johnson.
I gave no mercy for that being really gaining thing or lose anything because, I mean, they basically just walked gorgeous James James Johnson.
So I just gave the Wolves of sea for that.
It's going to the next trade.
Probably the most confusing trades.
Everybody is the Cavs receiving Andre drumming, and it's the Pistons returning Brandon Knight for a second stand and taking back John instead.
It also received a 2023 2nd round peak.
That problem was confusing trade, but to me it makes sense because the cab's already have Tristan Thompson and he's gonna expiring deal so he could potentially get bought out.
Or he's gonna walk this off season for nothing.
So at least you made a trade for under Drummond, who you basically got him for pennies.
I mean, nothing's gone for crumbs, so I think this all season the free agent market could be pretty drop.
So Andre Drummond could take his player option roughly $20 million he could up there with the calves and you look at the team like the Cavs having drumming and Kim in love.
You should not miss a rebound with those two guys, and then the courses didn't have Larry this.
That's in the rotation.
So There's no way the cat.
I'm gonna keep drumming.
Love Nancy and Tristan Thompson.
So what? The trade deadline over.
I'm leaning towards the Cavs, potentially buying out Thompson drama to step in for this year and next year.
I mean, I think he could pick up play option.
So for this trade, because they got drumming and attentive, But it could lead to I'm giving the calves and b minus because, I mean, you basically stole the guy from that.
Even if he walks the stolen from nothing because you're gonna lose tops in anyway.
So you stole it from nothing.
And for the pistons, What they got back.
Same as the Wizards.
This is a The Christians are getting it for the straight.
Because night Hanson and a pick they should have tried to get something else.
I mean, try to get City Iseman and try to get some of the yes, anybody other than 90 hits and both guys on its firing deals.
So my only logic for that would be I think Detroit is trying to hit a reboot, so they're gonna probably try to pay Christian would.
Who's been? He's been awesome this year.
Absence of Blake Griffin so Christian would could know where they're going for it, like paying him next.
But there's no guarantee that Christian would would take an extension.
So but not really getting anything.
A simple 2023 2nd rounder.
90 hints I'm gonna expire into the year.
I'm not going to show you what the PISCES are doing.
It's that for officially hitting the reset button.
Um, they have some point anyhow to trade Blake.
But just for this straight right here, receiving back night hands in the tick that's not doing it from the They receive the elf.
Um, now they signed Christian would out moving up to a C plus because they're kind of freeing up cat space to make some type of moves.
So if they end up getting no signing Christian would our moving up to a C plus the next trade? This problem was the wildest one.
I just cast person with the most confusing, but I think this one was the loudest one.
You have the Hawks receiving Clinton color in the day.
The natives are gonna get waved, but the hospital Atlanta hostile, see, compelling in the nature of the rockets were seeded Robert Covington, Jordan Bill and a Pick.
The War for the Warriors.
The war's received Malik Beasley hurting Gomez.
Evan turned into 20 21st Peek, and then the Nuggets will see the bass.
Maybe, you know, a bottle a jail green, uh, base de up.
And they also received a PIC.
Now for the Atlanta Hawks, this is eight receiving.
Click a pillow that is huge because you have pick and roll big and he could get slobs.
You have John Collins, who there's missing questions about whether he will or will not particularly signed with the Hawks within the next year because his contract is coming up.
So even the Commons just walk.
You still have compelling, I think, a pill 1/2 decent ceiling like he is what he is at this point.
But at least if you have, you know John Colley junk ostracized to walk.
At least if you have, um, click appellate hearing the foal, you don't lose anything.
So I think the halts should get an A for this tree because let's say college does re signed.
Compel it your five Collins that before you still have developing hunter developing reddish we know what, Trey young years it is.
These guys 30 and 10 you have Kevin's herder, the heart and all these guys on Ricky deals.
So the halls, they will have the Lord cat space comes off season.
So think about like if a guy like, uh, the martyr Rose and outside of his deal with the Spurs, he could go over to the halts, make a huge impact.
And they could probably looking that 78 seat next year because, Okay, then it's gonna get better.
Like I think next year, the east will be roughly the same.
You have the books? What? You're honest.
That's not gonna change.
Dependent, of course.
Reminds gonna lose our stuff in all season with Gasol Ibaka billing expiring deals.
Advance flee also, but I think they're going to sign him back.
So dependent on what Toronto does, they may not be a player next year as they are right now.
Boston, they're gonna be a player for foreseeable future's so little filly I got mentioned.
I think the Nets, they're gonna get back Katie and Calorie.
So, you know, the east, after like, the six bite could be pretty wide open So I think the Hawks get compel it.
And just that young court we have.
They could be in for a 78 seat run next year.
And they were toe, you know, maybe acquired the martyr, Rose. It was summer.
They could be looking at a 56 feet.
Maybe, Maybe in a foresee your thing break right.
You just never know in the Eastern Conference.
Go to the Rockets receiving Covington.
They're gonna probably wave Jordan Bill the Rockets phrase confusing, but same time it makes sense, because in the West, you would think we have Anthony Davis out here and also on the same team.
Dwight Howard, JaVale McGee, Devra hands your kids.
The Jazz handled their the Mavs half Court Zynga's.
You would think the Rockets were going.
We got to keep our big or at least go acquire another big and seeing what drum and wait for the rocket.
Should have made a play it under a drum it.
But I see why they did it.
Because Mike D'Antoni style doesn't allow for a traditional back to the basket.
20 rebound type of big operate.
So for the rockets to go get Covington he feels.
Is that what you want to do? He asked some perimeter defense to them because you're gonna be facing Paul, George, LeBron James.
Luca don ****s all guys who can kill you for 35 points any night.
So by adding Covington, you already have.
And that's gonna be like your defense.
I don't think it's fair that Sato put pressure on Tyson Chandler and try to go out and get you 10 points and maybe 78 rebounds and night Little blocked a shot or two because we know Covington and Tucker and Eric Gordon.
They're not going to be doing that.
So I think it's kind of unfair.
Take accident of Tyson Chandler.
But, um, for this rocket straight and and they're gonna wait.
Jordan Bill, I had an A B plus guy thought they could have killed George Bill, Who's, you know, he showed decent flashes were going to ST not a great big, but he's a solid big.
So, um, they're kind of knocking off a B plus to a B minus.
The rockets are going all the way, and that's all that stray signifies.
It's really letter.
Say the rockets keep his team the year before the next few years.
Russ hard and covers.
And because they're all locked into contracts up until, like 2022 2023 seasons, that's a few years away.
So they're going on Lin.
But I think this is Mike D'Antoni's Lance that I think might be telling you probably went to their on, Morgan said, Hey, let's make a move because D'Antoni knows, like when she was kind of getting impatient.
He wants to win the championship And I think they gave you Robert covets and s that guy.
I don't want to get over the hump, but Dan Stonyfield Holly feels like I'm gonna go out and get fired.
Let me get fired my way.
And he probably just said, Let's this is get this guy And they said we could do also when this trade with the T Wolves.
Malik Beasley, Hernangomez.
Evan Turner, 20 21st round pick.
Ah, this is this, like a C plus to me only because they didn't get a pig.
He showed flashes on Denver, and he's also long has expiring contracts.
So I want to see if the wolf, the site that pay him.
You know, 8 $10 million to kind of see if he can either be alongside Jericho over Or do they want to just have Beasley come off the bench, Senators? Well, with Denver.
Um, but it kind of got a lead to see what Beasley thinks of himself.
Because Beasley season simple the starter.
He could go out in search of a bigger deal, so but for right now, because they didn't get a pick and a solid player back, I'm gonna get awards.
And for the Nuggets, they received Napier violating Gerald Green and its mother, Dimension.
I gave the Nuggets of B minus just because of, uh, just after their bench depth.
I think the Nuggets, No, when it comes to the playoff time, they wanna have some guys after body should throw out there for, like, extra files.
Or it's my guess, that foul trouble.
So I think finally, it could be a huge pickup for them.
Um, he's He's not exactly Paul Millsap, but let's say a little side gets in foul trouble.
You can put violated.
He can still be active in geese in minutes.
And let's get to this last trade.
This is the This is the big one.
I think the tea would receive the Angela Russell and the war is receiving Andrew Wiggins Arkestra Just the big one because both teams kind of got what they need it.
The wall's getting the low.
I get a b and to me for Karl Anthony towns.
All the excuses, They're out.
You want it? Tom Thibodeau gone got Ryan Saunders because you want Jimmy Butler gone.
You wanted the end love.
Russell, you got to You got to buddy with you.
You wanted that contract, especially for you, Ricky Extension.
You signed that? So everything can't want it and signed up for he's received it.
So now all the excuses are out.
You got your buddy? Yeah.
We have something but at least compete.
But in my opinion, he got the load.
That's a good starting point for, like, you gotta be.
Gotta point guard.
Maybe they can go out and try to swing something for a wing player, but I don't see the wolves reaching that eight c seven.
See anything like that? Like I said about their Atlanta Hawks, I mean, I like it and the lowest on flashes, but a good trade.
But what it means, like their future.
I don't really see high hopes for them on, doctors say is dealing cat.
They're best friends, so at least they can lose happily.
They could go home and play Xbox and PlayStation go to the Mall of America or something.
But as far as just basketball wives, they're going probably a good fit on the court.
But I can't see the Wolves win in any major gangs and the war in receiving Andrew Wings.
Man, that is a eight.
The Warriors nailed this trade because you get a 20 point wing.
I mean, Wiggins is a long range of guy, so you got somebody who can get his own shot.
So he's not Harrison Barnes.
He's not even dollars.
We could get his own shot. He can average 20.
He shoots about 33 35% from the three.
He'll be around different clay on the dailies are here.
Probably pick his free throw percentage of from that low seventies, look to the highest close to 80 and then you also have to think about you need somebody who can defend the wings again like that just about covers.
It is my hook in the fan and you know, the Katie's of the world.
The hard is the doctor.
It's the LeBron, those type of guys.
So Wiggins Lane, he can't do that.
And of course, you got great my state or two.
So I think this for Wigan sake.
Being around such high character guys likes definitely in that warrior system around Steve.
Kurt Wiggins could be Oh, he his potential is what it is now like, I guess you know he's one of guys who just over height, so he's kind of been a victim of the hyper being at number one pick.
But he's already a solid player.
The guys play 82 games for three years.
He played 81 other year, and I think you play 73 or 74th of the year, and so far this year, he's played about 42 43 out of 50 already.
So he's durable.
He's healthy, you can get your 20 points and he probably fits best as 1/3 option, which is what he would be on the warrior.
So I gave that trade, eh? and for a few teams who didn't make moves like right now, I want to see what the Lakers do because they need somewhere wing defence.
They need need a guard to help out get run off the ball a little bit.
So for right now, the Lakers have it if and for not sending out any calls.
Trade offers this first.
Also have it because I thought they could have made a deal kept there.
A love, but it's there to spread inside of ST Pat.
You could opt out, I think if he does, he make.
It was signed with the Hawks team.
This young and emerging good allows a get pretty good CD, but you could lose the gap in left, and I thought they should have tried to trade in the market.
You know, the Pacers have been throwing out rumors that they may want to trade Myles Turner, so I'm not sure why the Spurs and try to go flip the markets Aldridge for my Turner and T Day leave, because that would feel tour that needs.
You need interior defense turnover provided that floor space that he provides that and TJ leave.
He's out of that patients rotation, so I thought he would have fit with sperm.
Here. They need front court.
Ah, young front quarters will.
So and then there's the connections.
There I am able just made sense.
All this was coached by Nick named Dylan when he was with the Blazers.
Then you got Turner, who wouldn't play because bald and text this.
I'm going to the spurt from and good for him.
So I just thought, like all the connections, mate sets.
But it didn't happen, some for not making any move that all the Spurs get Elf because they're not even trying.
And then also the Lakers.
Right now, the Lakers aren't only because they didn't do anything, but I'm sure they could be a player in the buyout market.
It's floating around it during the college, has a name there licking net that we don't work out J.
Smith so that the legs can anything far as just another guard or wing defender just like leaving a ball.
Hilder, I would say in the buyout market out the Lakers chances of a little bit, but right now I think the Clippers are a runaway team in The Wiz.
They said, Get me a great get Morris because just think about a lamp of Montreal's Harold Marcus Morris Colander Palla Jordon In the last spot you can put in Louisville, Pat, Bev or Samit.
I mean, that is gonna be nasty complain all time.
I'm not sure how you even slow that down to stop it.
So the Clippers are the favorite to win the West of my opinion, that legacy to do something to keep trying to keep pace.
And I think next year, acquiring Wiggins could pay off big for the Warriors.
Step back off arrest.
Get Claire back off arrest.
I think Raymond probably has another good two years of elite ball left in him.
And oh, of course, you know, cat wise with paying four guys on Max, you're going to a pretty cap strapped.
But I think the awards are smart.
They're gonna have a top peak.
So you get you a good player right there.
You can't join pool.
You kept Eric Pascual.
If you can maybe use your mid level exception and some signs of good vested features system, you're skiing next season.
The Warriors could be back in the West finals and probably the the East Finals.
And I think that the next communiqu from the East because you didn't make any trace here, you getting killing Durant back, you'll probably get back and help me carry on with what they already have.
The Nets could be big, but just to recap betrayed grades.
Clippers get a next get A C plus.
We'll just get it.
F Miami Heat Get a B plus for the Grizzlies, receiving Um Winslow and gorgeous jacket of the A T would receive it.
James Johnson with the sea cast Getting drumming was a B minus.
The Pistons basically receiving nothing was the Elf the hostage.
It a capella was a rock.
It's getting Robert Covington B minus T Wolves getting a pig and league Beesley, plus others c plus the biggest, adding some bench dealt with the B minor's once again the war skin De Lo was a B and the Warriors.
Getting Angelika was a um so let's see how it all plays out.
We got some more games.
Of the roughly 10 of our team, it is 28 30 something games live.
Let's see how these trays benefit East team this year.
And, of course, going forward.
