and sports talk.
What's going on, everybody? I got three things that I want to talk about today.
To Patriots related.
One other related.
I'll probably just talk a little bit about football in general today because we had a great divisional weekend.
I mean, besides the San Francisco game, this was just a crazy, crazy week in a football.
The watch And I'll admit, I wish the New England Patriots were there.
I wish that I was watching our boys playing on Saturday or Sunday, but this was the most stress free weekend a football that I had.
Let's talk about it.
Let's go like this. But let's start.
Well, then, let me tell you what I'm gonna talk about. Then we'll go.
So I'm not gonna talk about this long.
But our boy J E 11 the squirrel, the Iron Man, Mini Tron, whatever you want to call him? Well, he was arrested yesterday, Jauss getting himself in a little bit of trouble.
And I gotta admit, I thought it was hilarious when I saw what he was arrested for.
Talking about that Josh McDaniels is returning to the New England Patriots and I think that that is an absolute fantastic thing, despite some Patriot fans who may feel different than me.
And then I want to talk about the craziest game we saw this weekend.
It wasn't Tennessee surprising the Baltimore Ravens.
No, it was the Kansas City Chiefs coming all the way back from a 24 to nothing deficit.
And I know that people are gonna be talking all about Patrick Mahomes.
They should be talking about Andy Reid and what he was able to do to get that team up and running when he started figuring things out.
But that's neither here nor there.
So that's my plan for today.
Thank you to everybody who student in here right now.
Live on SportsCastr.
Thank you, everybody.
Who's watching this replay on YouTube? Don't forget, I am live on SportsCastr every single night of the week, normally on Amon around 9 30 But it's been a little bit different this weekend.
As I waited for football games to finish.
Had to come on a little bit later.
We just saw the Green Bay Packers defeat the Sanford or the Seattle Seahawks, and I got to give it to Aaron Rodgers, man.
He made two crucial catcher passes, just money passes, one Adams and then a great second effort on the second pass to get the first down and end the game era.
Rogers playing like money when he needed to down the stretch.
You know, I think my worst nightmare would be Aaron Rodgers versus Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl.
That would just be a time that I wouldn't want anybody to win.
I'd hoped for a blackout, but let's keep this going.
So you could catch me live on SportsCastr every single night if you just wanna wait.
I always release the replay on YouTube at 10 a.m.
the following day, so you don't get to see it live, but you'll get it the next morning.
So it's completely up to you.
Make sure you connect and interact with me on Twitter at DPM.
Underscore Ray at DP An underscore Ray.
You can watch my new ongoing battle with Kansas City Chiefs fans.
I've been blocked four times this week by four different cheese fans.
For what I see is no little reason, and I mean, you know what? You know.
There's been times that pats nation and I have sparred a little bit and went back and forth and maybe had some disagreements on some things.
And I used to say that I think Patriot fans could be a little bit sensitive sometimes.
But I'm telling you there is nobody more sensitive than a Kansas City Chiefs fame.
I'll leave it out there.
Nobody more sensitive than in Kansas City.
They've got to be the most sensitive fan base I've ever seen.
I'm talking about Aaron Rodgers and they're getting upset, calling me salty when I'm not even talking about their little pretty boy.
Stop patting gim**** quarterback.
And because it's so sensitive, they're gonna go ballistic when they hear my final part of my show tonight.
Ah, but with that being said, guys, I want to jump into my topics.
Give my little bit of opinion here and make sure you tune in every single night because here a DP and we love football.
We love football season and everything, and I mean everything that goes with it, so I'll start with this one.
I don't know where the hell I was or what I was doing, but I'm kind of walking around today and I looked at my phone and I see something about Julian Edelman and I'm like, You know what? I don't want to talk about, you know, read about Julian Edelman right now.
And and I looked down again and I see arrested and I'm like, what? I'd turn it on.
Jules is apparently out partying and drinking it up with Danny Amendola and Paul Pierce last night, throwing back a couple too many ****tails, Edelman got a little intoxicated, got a little bit too adult for everybody and then turned into like a 16 year old boy took a leap, jumping onto the I think it was a hood of a Mercedes, banged up the Mercedes and was arrested for vandalism and mischief on a misty Zyl been sighted on a misdemeanor.
I think he's gotta be in court like the middle of April like April 15th or something like that.
And I just got a little bit of a laugh when I watched out because, man, I'm telling you right now, like I can just imagine Julian Edelman drinking up, getting super intense and then just like cannon balling onto the hood of a car like that's just the thing that wins.
That doesn't shock me at all.
I've always said if there was somebody on the Patriots that I could party with, a lot of people have said Gronk.
I always said you had drunk is fun and he's just a fun guy in general.
But I always figured Adelman would be a good guy to drink with, and he's probably an intense drinker.
You probably knocking back a lot of shots is probably a lot of shooters, a lot of that kind of stuff.
I absolutely love it.
Now I know that some people are wondering, Is there gonna be repercussions to this little mishap? And I was thinking about that today.
I mean, some of the journalists are going ballistic saying that the NFL has to throw the book at him.
But of course, gentleman wears the Patriots jersey on Sundays, so obviously they'll want him to throw the book at him.
Ah, you know what I think, Adelman.
I think gentleman could end up with a game over this, I really do.
I mean, I don't think he should, considering guys like Jameis Winston who had some pretty serious accusations put against him only served two games.
Um, considering you get four games for testing positive for steroids or cheating Or, you know.
But for guys like Tyree, kill can stay on the field and not have to serve a suspension.
I mean, I don't understand why Julian Edelman would have to serve a suspension for getting a little liquored up.
Jump it onto a Mercedes.
I mean, just a bunch of kids stop.
Just a little bit of fun.
Ah, but if that were, if he were to be punished and again he wears a Patriots jersey so I could see it happen.
I think that Julian Edelman could end up serving a game, but we'll have to see.
And I'm reading some of my comments here.
And I think that Von guy said it perfectly when he just said it just be a rehab game and the rehab, and it's kind of fun.
What kind of rehab? Ah, man, I'm sure that Adam and he's gonna have to probably go under some stupid program and take a class about why you shouldn't get liquored up and vandalized cars and imagine being the grown man in your thirties and getting hit for vandalism.
I mean, that's just like, isn't that embarrassing enough? Can't we just give the guy a break now? Hasn't had enough public scrutiny over getting all jacked up and jumping into a car and getting arrested for vandalism? I mean, you know, I think that that you just go from there.
So that's the Julian Edelman story.
Like I said, he ain't I ain't gonna spend too much time on it.
And I had some fun vandalized the car.
He got arrested, and 25 different journalists wrote articles about it today.
So you know, I don't I don't have that much to say about that.
What I do want to talk about, though, is Josh McDaniels in the positive will, not the possibility.
It's basically confirm now that he will be returning to New England Patriots.
The Cleveland Browns.
I don't know if Cleveland announced it today, but Ian Rapoport did, and then Adam Schefter confirmed it, so that's good enough for me.
But the Cleveland Browns are ready to announce Kevin Stefanski Stefanski as their head coaches, I guess.
Currently the offensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings and I don't know if Cleveland was just waiting for the Vikings to be eliminated from the playoffs before making the announcement.
But I guess the seven hours that Josh McDaniels spent in Cleveland yesterday didn't do enough to impress ownership.
So McDaniels will be returning to New England Now.
I want to talk about it from that from a Patriots perspective for a second, and then I'll get a little bit deeper into what's going on in Cleveland.
Just some of the weird stuff that's happening over there.
Um, I, for one, am happy that Josh McDaniels is returning to the Patriots.
I think that Patriot fans often will look for a scapegoat.
I think that people were looking for somebody to blame this season because God knows you can't blame Tom Brady.
Um can't blame the players.
It's never the Playersfault.
And I think that people were just really looking for somebody to blame this season.
And they blamed Josh McDaniels in.
I saw a lot of Patriot fans up on Twitter and stuff, especially after the season they were.
They were so excited that he was probably leaving this year and that he wouldn't be returning to New England and I thought ma'am and I way I saw the calls for a chat.
O'Shea and oh, my counterpart Patriots Global was talking about it.
How he believed that shadow Shea Shea coming is the offensive coordinator.
I, for one, thought that was an awful idea.
Ah, and your pages global can have his own opinion.
That's not a knock on Patriots Global.
I just have a different opinion than him.
I'm not trying to look for beef with nobody right now, so let's not get too crazy with that.
But what did I say? Did I not say Chad O'Shea? What did I say? I'm seeing Chad across the board, on my screens.
Or maybe I didn't say job.
Maybe I said a different name.
Did I say Mike O'shay? Because I have a friend named Michael Shayne? It wouldn't surprise me if I said Michael Shea Chato, say whatever you all know, You all know who I'm talking about, all right? You don't know who I'm talking about.
All You're mad that he was even a suggestion.
Okay, here's my thing, man.
I think Shadow Shay was probably a good wide receiver coach.
I think that he was probably a good wide receiver coach under the supervision of somebody like a Josh McDaniels.
Here's my thing.
He goes to Miami this year with Brian Flores, two guys who grew up together.
His coaches, you know, these guys cut their teeth through New England system.
Grew up together.
He brings him with the makes him his offensive coordinator, finally gets, um, from under the shadow of Josh McDaniels.
Let's give O'Shea his opportunity.
And then he fired him after one season in a season when no coach, no coordinator, no, nothing should be blamed for anything that could possibly have happened in Miami, of all places, right? You're playing with Fitz Magic.
And then you got Josh Rosen in there.
Who's, you know, to me, Damaged goods.
I think the only team now that could save a Josh Rosen is the Patriots, to be honest with you, and I think if Miami does take a quarterback in the draft, that ballot check should really try to make a move to picket, bring out, bring in.
Josh Rosen is gonna be tough to make an inter division move like that, but I could see him as the next quarterback of the New England Patriots but firing him after one season.
When that's your boy, that's your man.
That's your guy that you grew up with, and you decide you're gonna move on.
That's a big flag for me.
And then you start reading some of the articles about why it could have happened.
There's a lot of Ah, Miami media that's talking about, you know, talking about how a lot of people see O'Shea and think, You know what? He's a really good coach, but he's not a great coordinator.
So I'd welcome China shape back on the Patriots and a coaching role, even though I think the next wide receiver coach is gonna be Troy Brown, to be honest with you, so I don't know what role you bring O'Shea back in.
I know Chad's pretty good at looking at the red zone kind of offense and figured out that kind of thing.
Maybe you bring them back as a special assistant to Josh McDaniels, I don't know, but the reality is the Patriots what I'm happy about.
They don't need to go out, and they don't need to find a new offensive coordinator. They have.
Josh McDaniels was ready to come back, and I, for one, am thrilled about it.
It's good for Jared Stem.
If that is the route the Patriots want to go.
I mean, it's they are.
If Josh McDaniels can say one thing is he knows how to develop a quarterback.
And if the Patriots really do see Stadium as the future, then continuing to learn and grow and develop while working with, hopefully somebody like a Tom Brady coming back but continuing to work with Josh McDaniels when Stem is ready to start, you know next.
You know, in two seasons maybe, you know, after maybe after the Brady's gone, then it's a good development form, and McDaniels has done a pretty decent job of developing young quarterbacks.
And McDaniels was a part of the development of Tom Brady, and there's a lot of good things that he brings to the table.
When we talked about on top of that, when we talk about the Tom Brady contract situation, when we talk about the implications of that, when we talk about how you can lure Tom Brady back to the Patriots, I think having his offensive coordinator, who we've looked weak, the eye test alone tells us how close those two are tells us how well those two get along.
I think having Josh McDaniels back actually opens up a better possibility of bringing back in.
Retaining the service is a Tom Brady, then, if McDaniels is somewhere else.
But I think when you're looking at, you know, it's it's funny, because this week we were waiting for dominoes to fall first.
Maybe Tom Brady goes after Who's next? Who moves here, who moves there? You know, Joe Judge left.
Who's he gonna take from the team when we talk about Constance to wrote this entire 20 year dynasty, Tom Brady Bill ballot check? And I think Josh McDaniels is one of the guys that you have to throw in.
There is the Constance, whether he's a coordinator or he's a coach or he's an assistant.
He's been with the organization forever.
Grew up with the Patriots organization, and that's the way it goes Now.
I want to talk a little bit about Cleveland and how I think that I originally believed that it was the perfect opportunity for I think it was the perfect opportunity for Josh McDaniels.
But Cleveland is very ****ytically heavy and the micromanagement of the head coach there.
I'm surprised that clear that that was even Josh and Josh McDaniels consideration to take a job in Cleveland.
So I was reading an article today talking about how the the organizational works and they have a guy forget his name.
But he's an ****ytical guy.
He was a baseball guy, and he runs all the numbers and does all the ****ytics.
Well, the head coach now, which I guess is, um ah, not Josh McDaniels.
It's the fan ski.
Every Friday he is going to have to give his and submit his game plan to ownership and the ****ytical department.
And then there will be an ****ytical meeting following the submission of the game plan, which tells me that a calculator and the owner are gonna tell the head coach what his game plan should look like against nothing.
Could you imagine telling Bill Belichick like, Could you could you imagine telling Bill ballot Jackie, every Friday you have to submit a game plan, and the ****ytic department's gonna look at it and you're gonna meet with Robert Kraft and the ****ytical Department, and the changes need to be made, so be it.
You're gonna have to make changes to the game plan.
I think if that's the case, you got to be a very, very heavy ****ytical guy.
I believe in ****ytics.
I believe that ****ytics tell a big part of the story, but in football, they're still up.
When you're talking about game planning, when you're talking about game planning, there's still a feel.
There's still a gut feeling they're still a a toughness thing.
You know, ****ytics don't take toughness.
And two example ****ytics don't take head games into example because you're gonna break down players.
They don't break down histories, they don't break down voodoo Jews and those kind of things.
And one thing that we've learned in sports is some teams struggle to play other teams.
I mean, I don't think there's anything worse.
For the most part, there's blips here and there.
But do you guys really like traveling to Miami? I mean, when the Patriots got to travel to Miami, I almost circle.
That is our loss for the season because it just seems like the weird things happen, going all the way even down to the Miami Miracle.
Weird things happen to the Patriots while they're in Miami.
****ytics aren't going to tell you those kind of things.
****ytics are going to tell you the probability of the Miami miracle happiness so slim.
You're still a part in an instinct part of football, and for years and years and years, football was completely based on gut feelings, and football knowledge had nothing to do with math and that kind of thing.
So there's a real mix right? There's a real mix of how you can feel about this kind of stuff, But I just thought, you know, I haven't really seen if they just chose to fancier if Josh McDaniels was an interested in the job or what it may be, but I don't see how Josh McDaniels would have been satisfied submitting the game plan every Friday.
That also shows me that Cleveland ownership is gonna be too involved in the system and to evolve in the program.
Still, the funny piece there, the funny part of this whole thing was it.
Stefanski was Cleveland second choice over Freddie Kitchens last year.
If they wouldn't have been able, Oh wow, if they wouldn't have been able to secure Freddie kitchens, they wanted Stefanski.
So now they're getting their second choice from last season this season after a disaster with Freddie Kitchens.
So I don't know, maybe the Dumpster Fire Oven organization may stay, is a Dumpster fire oven organization and as a football purist, away from just the Patriots colors and logos, away from just being a Patriots fan as a football pierce to somebody who loves the game of football, somebody who watched Seattle and Green Bay today and couldn't care two squirts of ****ed about who actually wins that game and was just excited to watch two great quarterbacks.
Two solid defense is too great.
Running backs battle it out.
I don't want to see this Cleveland Team B a Dumpster fire forever.
It just bothers me so much that you have a team that has Baker, Mayfield, Jarvis, Landry, Odell Beckham, Jr.
Nick Chopper, Myles Garrett.
You have all these pieces in place to be a stellar football team, and yet you can't instill a winning culture and I blamed Freddie Kitchens all season.
But after hearing this garbage about a coach having a hand in a game plan on Fridays, I thought to myself, too.
Maybe it's just the ownership.
Maybe that culture is coming from the top up.
And when that kind of cultures coming from so high, it's impossible and impossible.
An improbability impossibility for a coach to instill their own culture as much as Bill.
Ballot Shack is responsible for the Patriots way and all that kind of stuff.
You need that buy in from ownership.
To be able to implement that into the locker room, you need the owner to be like, You know what, Bill? We trust you.
We trust this vision you have, You're absolutely right.
We don't believe and you hear Robert Kraft saying, We don't believe in individual accolades around here.
We don't celebrate individual accomplishments.
That's all coming from Bill Belichick, but it's being supported by the ownership.
Whatever the hell is happening in Cleveland right now, I think Josh McDaniels absolutely dodged a bullet the size of my bedroom because I think he would have lasted 12 years.
I mean, ever since what's his name? Bart. Cleveland.
I mean, I think they've had, like, 12 coaches in 12 years or something like that, like it's really actually becoming pathetic, and I I'd never really paid attention to Cleveland.
I always thought, Man, they've always had this bad break with with quarterbacks not working out Brandon Weed in and Johnny Football and all that kind of stuff.
But after reading this today, because obviously Josh McDaniels interviewing there put me in the attention that I'm reading all this stuff that their expectations of their coaches and what they want their coaches to do, I thought, Oh my God, it's the ownership.
It actually doesn't matter who the coaches, it really doesn't.
It's going to be a Dumpster fire regardless of who's in there and because of all that, we get Josh McDaniels back in New England, all the head coaches and jobs leased.
All the ***y head coaching jobs are gone.
If I'm Houston, I may be thinking about Bill O'Brien today and after that just fiasco that they had in Kansas City and I'll be talking about that game in a minute and just some of those brutal decisions.
I mean, I don't know what other opportunities were gonna open up, Probably none.
So Josh McDaniels, sustain and Joe, I'm not doing a Q and A, but I will answer that question.
So do you think, How do you rethink how qualified the Cleveland coaches have been throughout the years? I do rethink it. Now.
I absolutely 110% rethink it.
And I want to revisit the Cleveland Browns and actually want to go back on his own.
I could go back all the way to 2015 watching games, and I want to go watch from Cleveland Brown games because maybe it's not the coaching.
Maybe it's the ownership and it's been the ownership since the beginning, and the culture is being set from the top.
Yeah, it's, I mean, that's where I'm at.
Now, though we get Josh McDaniels back.
I think it's good for the Patriots.
I think it's good for Tom Brady.
I think it's good to keep the core together a part of me.
I'll admit it was a little excited to see what the change could be.
The same of Tom Brady were to leave the team, and I want Tom Brady's our quarterback next season.
Don't get me wrong, let's not get stupid, but sometimes it's exciting to see change.
Sometimes it's just exciting to see something different.
We've been watching the same thing in New England for so many years.
It was kind of a little bit exciting to think we're going to see something different, but now it looks like we're not, and we're gonna get back to it.
And I totally believe and truthfully believe the Patriots will be back in contention next season.
I talked about it last.
I talked about it last night.
I totally believe that they're gonna be back in contention.
And I think that if Bill Bala check an address the tight end situation of Bilbao, check an address, the offensive line, at least keep it healthy.
At least make it the offensive line of the later part of the season and going into the playoffs.
And you can get maybe one more weapon for Tom Brady.
I think having Josh McDaniels, they're getting the run game involved.
Getting Brady throwing the ball, we could see a Patriot's offense.
It looks very similar to that Buffalo against they had against that Buffalo game, right? And I mean that, I think to us was the opinion.
What was it was the pinnacle that was that was the piece that we wanted that So that was the game we wanted to see Week 16 against Buffalo.
That's the way we that was the offense we envisioned.
It wasn't some, you know, 400 yard rushing game, 400 yard passing game.
It was a balanced offense, and I think that the Patriots are very close to having a consistent offense like that going into 2020.
And I think having Josh McDaniels there and bringing back Tom Brady really puts them in a very positive position to move forward.
Now, do you want to turn my attention a little bit from the New England Patriots over the Kansas City Chiefs? First of Houston Texans? Now, before I start, I wanna welcome Chiefs Kingdom, who is actually watching my stuff.
If you're still watching into this point now, it means you're probably somewhat of uneducated.
Fan, I gotta tell you that your fan base is soft, man, you guys got.
If I thought that Patriot fans could be a little soft, I thought that Patriot fans could be a little whiny.
I thought Patriot fans could get a little entitled cheese fans.
You take the cake for the whole a few of you that are okay.
But a lot of, uh, no, no, no, no.
I mean, I'm trying to have a normal conversation with you guys.
You guys are freaking out and then blocking me, telling me that I live in my mother's ba*****t is my ba*****t boy, not my mother's.
And I'm in this house because my wife makes good money.
I married Red Show.
Deal with it, But I want to talk about this game today.
So I taxed my body when it's 14.
And I go, You think this will? This is sustainable.
You think Houston can actually do you think that Houston could actually pull this off? My by tax, Mrs.
Now I'm not a chance.
This is Patrick Mahomes is too good, Travis.
Too good. The chief, too. Too good. Then it's 24.
Nothing. I text on my go.
What do you think now? And, uh, he says to me, ****, he says, This is all Andy Reid's form.
The game plan is awful.
He's playing right in a type of Houston's hands.
And then we know what happened from there.
28 point second quarter.
Patrick, my homes in the Kansas City Chiefs.
They go into the second half up by four.
They just completely dominate and annihilate the Houston taxes.
And then the debate started of Is this the Chiefs or is this the choking Texans? I, uh, that they get a bit of both.
I'm not willing to let anybody off the hook here give credit where it's not, do and and let people off the hook.
I think there was a bit of a choke job here by I think that Bill Brian choked as a coach going that stupid fourth down fake punt crap.
Just punt the ball.
It was like fourth and 21 or something like that.
It was even like it was a close one.
Just punt it or if you're gonna go for it on fourth down, just go for it anyways.
And then we saw it.
I watched all the Chiefs Kingdom.
I saw the media, the Nick writes.
Now that Lamar Jackson got knocked out of the playoffs last night, I saw them all flocking and bowing at the altar of Patrick Mahomes.
But but But the true, knowledgeable football fans, the players of the Kansas City Chiefs.
What I guarantee you happened After that game, the Kansas City Chiefs walked off that field walk in that dressing room.
They all got on their knees, and they all kissed the feet of Andy Reid because I do believe that in football, there's no other sport besides football where coaching is so important and football is one of them.
It's awful in the defensive gate.
Romeo's defensive game plan over for Houston.
He had them set up.
I didn't think Kansas City would ever be able to move the ball.
And then Andy Reid figured it out.
Andy Reid figured out the coverage.
Andy Reid Reid figured out what was happening.
Knows that he has explosive players, made the adjustments, put the new game plan into effect.
And then we saw it happen.
Now am I gonna take all the credit off of Patrick Holmes? Of course not.
He still has to execute.
He's supposed to execute the game plan, but Patrick More Homes did not win that game for the Kansas City Chiefs today.
He may have executed the plan.
He may have physically did it, but Andy Reid showed his offensive genius.
Today, I'm not going to sit here and say Patrick Mahomes played clutch.
He made throws that needed to be made.
Travis Kelsey played cut, clutch, making those shoe top catches and some of those difficult catches he had to make little side note.
Did anybody see on Twitter? Zolak just going after Kelsie today like, Oh, my God.
Talk about somebody who had just hates somebody else.
But it was actually hilarious if you watch it, it was hilarious.
So, like, just ripping callously apart on Twitter all day anyways, and I know what's gonna happen.
I know what's gonna happen.
The talking heads are all going to go on the show tomorrow and they're gonna talk about Look at Pat.
Nobody can do it like Patrick Mahomes.
I don't Donovan McNabb.
I kind of did it like like Patrick Mahomes.
Tom Brady dominated the A F.
C for 20 years, and I'm getting a question right now from my boy Rhino.
Asking me, is Patrick Mahomes a product of Reed system that was leading up to it? Yes, he is.
It doesn't mean he's not talented.
Don't get me wrong.
It doesn't mean he's not talented.
He's very talented.
Systems don't teach side arms and that kind of thing, and I've said it already.
The best coaches in the world.
They build systems around the talent they have.
So Patrick Mahomes has a piece to do with that building of the system.
I'm not gonna be a Chiefs fan who tries to discredit everything Tom Brady does.
I'm not like that.
I might be a little air again, A little bias, but for the most part, I stay pretty objective and I can acknowledge things and a great coach could do it.
But I wanted to show you to comparisons.
You had Lamar Jackson last night wetting the bed.
And let's face it, you had Mahomes and his offense wetting the bed today against Houston, and I think arguably, we can say they don't fake punt that ball.
If Houston doesn't fake punt that ball.
The comeback maybe doesn't happen, but it did.
Can't take that back.
Can't can't live on what ifs, but you look at those two games.
John Harbaugh last night proved that he's a special teams coach.
They didn't have the offensive capacity.
Lamar Jackson, John Harbaugh, whoever their offensive coordinators they didn't have the offensive capacity last night to figure out what the Titans were doing and beat it.
Mike Vrabel, who understands offenses phenomenally as a defensive player, came in with the perfect defensive game plan and absolutely destroyed Baltimore.
They had no answer.
Houston's defense came in today.
Romeo, one of the probably one of the top defensive coordinators in the history of the last 20 years, had the perfect game plan.
But Andy Reid has the intelligence, the offensive mind to figure it out.
And Tony Romo said it.
And you could tell that you can tell that that the the Booths, CBS and all that they're told.
Make sure you be fop Patrick Mahomes.
You can see it because Andy Reid are.
Tony Roma kept saying it.
Andy Reid has figured out how you're attacking them.
You have to change because he's figured out your defense.
Oh, yeah, and Patrick Holmes has to. Patrick.
It always kind of just adding patron move, not **** it, Tony, Just see what it is.
Andy Reid figured it out in s****, fed it to Patrick Mahomes, who executed Absolutely, he executed.
And if your players don't execute that, no system means ****.
Systems don't count if people don't execute the ball.
Andy Reid figured it out, and he saved.
Patrick Mahomes was on the verge of leading the Kansas City Chiefs at home in Arrowhead Stadium to the most embarrassing loss, possibly in the history of the Kansas City Chiefs.
In Andy Reid dug them out of their hole.
And we saw it last year in the A F C championship game against the Patriots.
The Patriots shut shut, became the City Chiefs out for 1/2.
Holmes comes out, does the exact same thing.
Does the exact same thing that he did in the first half, except a little bit different.
Little bit different here.
Little bit different there.
Stop targeting a double covered Tyreke.
Patrick and Andy Reid made the adjustments and the game, and we're going to overtime, and the two of them are just beating each other.
And I'm seeing stuff here, guys, I'm gonna right now what the Patriots did in the A F C championship game last year in that in that first half was they controlled the clock.
They couldn't do it in the second half.
They couldn't move the ball they made, you know.
But the problem was, though, they're being match score for score.
You got to stop Derrick Henry next week.
The Tennessee Titans can shorten a game just by pounding that ball down your throat, moving that rock.
I mean, look, Henry's numbers have been disgusting in this playoff so far.
If there was a playoff M v p.
Like in other sports, I know there's a Super Bowl M V P, but another sports of a playoff NBP as well.
If you had one of those, I mean, Henry would have to be it.
What he put up last night with 195 or something.
Studio 195 195 Russian yards this guy puts up against Houston or against Baltimore, put up with 145 on the Titans or on the Patriots.
I mean, something ridiculous. 182.
The guys put up almost 200 yards of rushing in two playoff games.
That's a big problem, and I agree with football 81.
If you take his offensive weapons with the insane speed Andy Reid, especially L.
Patrick my homes will not look good at all.
Andy Reid knows how to exploit that speed.
And absolutely, you're always gonna build your offenses around the players that you have.
And he puts and I mean, people will look at Patrick Did. Yeah.
Patrick, please. Okay, but you look great.
Pitching those balls on those touchdowns to on those touchdown carries.
Think Williams had what two touchdown runs today? Um, I mean, Houston started running zone defense.
You don't run zone defense against the fastest team in the NFL.
They call them the Legion Zoom, which, by the way, special shadow to my boy Britt chief, who actually came up with that slogan.
But they call him the Legion of Doom.
I mean, that's like playing rookie mode on Madden, playing his own defense against speed like that.
I could hit those guys in the middle of the field, and Houston was getting no pressure to my homes.
There's a lot defensively.
Houston did Ron, but my home's executed, but Andy Reid just exploited it, exploited it, and there you got chief fans.
What? Because? Because I said Andy Reid's a genius because I said Aaron Rodgers is the bad past quarterback left in the playoffs.
You're now discrediting your own coach to my mannitol Patriots fans do.
I thought you guys were better than us, a love spreading the divide.
I love watching the Kingdom turn on itself, and but you got to give it to Andy Reid, man.
And I'm telling you right now if you gave Andy Reid Lamar Jackson the things that he could do with him because he's so smart because and I said it made John Harbaugh never made an adjustment last night, and that was one of the biggest problems of the Ravens. Had heartburn.
Never made an adjustment.
Andy Reid makes the adjustments.
What, you don't see Andy Reid teams get blown out next week.
I don't think it's good.
Next is gonna be a tight game, but I think that you're going to see this this week, and it is a weak Kansas City defense.
Just get exploited and beat down by Henry, and it's all gonna come down to the Titans defense and whether or not they can stop Patrick Mahomes.
All right, I don't want to spend any more time on the Kansas City Chiefs.
I've given them enough of my attention as it is, let's just talk a little bit more about all the games this weekend.
The only game I didn't really get to watch too much of was Thieve Vikings at San Francisco game.
I did watch the highlights, and I plan on trying to get on and watching the condensed version of the game this week.
But from what I heard, what I seen in what I've kind of just pieced together I mean, Coleman and and most starts and those kind of guys, they took a lot of pressure off of Jimmy Garoppolo, man, grapple 1 11 for 19 431 yards.
Put up a touchdown in in an interception.
I mean, those air kind of those Ryan Tannehill numbers, Um, where we have 105 yards by Coleman Moster puts up 50.
A breather puts up 17.
Ah, Samuel puts up six.
I mean, you're talking almost 200 yards of Russian just because of it.
And then, of course, the defense of of San Francisco is just phenomenal.
Ah, I'm seeing things about Nick poster. Absolutely.
Nick Poster is a free reminder.
He's from the the the Ohio State University and, uh ah, great, great great great Os you player.
I was in love with the meadow issue.
I'm still level now.
We've only played for San Francisco.
I mean, I can I can love a good player.
Dwayne Haskins is exactly why I thought he was gonna be in Washington.
Whatever sweaters, I didn't get to watch much of that game.
I watched every minute of last night's game against Tennessee, and I mean, the Titan just took it to a man.
The Titans just played punch in your face type of football.
They walked in the Baltimore.
The punched Rabel punched Harbor on the face with his game plan.
The defense punch.
Lamar in the face.
Lamar Jackson threw the ball 59 times last night.
Ryan Tannehill threw the ball 14 times.
That's the difference.
Henry ran the ball 30 times.
Tannehill ran the ball six times.
Brown ran a once Danielle do ball 14 times.
Lamar Jackson ran the ball or through the ball 59 times and a look.
Let my Jackson had 143 yards in Russian yesterday.
I mean, he didn't you know he had over 500 total yards of offense in yesterday's game that gets lost because of all brutal things.
Brown had 100 26 yards and and receiving Sneed at 56.
I mean, we got two guys in the fifties and one of the 100.
But Tennessee just played punching the face football yesterday.
And, you know, like Mike Tyson likes to say, man, just, you know, sometimes, yeah, everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face and I got punched in the face yesterday and they couldn't get it done.
Um, I've already talked about the Kansas City game.
I didn't get to watch as much of the Green Bay Seattle game as I wanted to.
Ah, good comeback by Seattle.
Ah, 14 points in the third quarter.
That's when I started watching the game.
So it turns out I kind of missed the blowout.
It was 2123 at one point.
Look like the game was over.
That, I think, was 28 to 10 and ah, and in Seattle just started coming back and it was just ah, really great finish to the game.
Kudos I talked about today, but hot tip to Aaron Rodgers. Man.
He needed to make too big passes.
The 1st 1 toe Adams and he hits him second.
Wanted Jimmy Graham to seal the game both third down passes.
Money shots, man.
Just absolute money.
And I got to give Aaron Rodgers man and I'll stay.
I stand by my comment.
Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback left in the playoffs now.
I think he's better than jittery. G.
I think he's better than stopped.
Patty Mahomes is definitely better than Ryan Tannehill.
And like I said, man, my worst nightmare in the world is a Green Bay Packer Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl because I wouldn't want any teams I wouldn't want anybody to win.
I'd be praying for her like an earthquake.
You like it, but I think that if I think of Green Bay goes the finals, I gotta feed the cheese.
I think Green Bay wins easy with the way Rogers was looking today with the way that defense can play.
I mean, they were all over Russell Wilson.
That last lease, the two halves that other 2/4 and I watched they were all over.
Russell Wilson, now is insane.
All right, guys, I think it's about it, man.
Listen, I just want to remind everybody keep Australia in your prayers as they go through.
Ah, they go through all their fires and stuff out there.
I am currently working with a company here trying to get some stuff together so I could do a fundraiser to raise the money for Australia.
Go save some some animals, gets the people some food and some water, gets the money over there and start trying to help rebuild.
Is there just being rampage by fires right now? I was reading an article today.
Ah, that was saying that it still looks like it's gonna be another three months before they're going to be able to control these wildfires.
That's just absolutely crazy.
The amount of destruction and damage that these fires have done.
Um, so I'm hoping that I could get that fundraiser going really, really soon.
Just working with a couple of people here trying to, um I don't want to just open up like a go fund me page, and I want to actually.
So we're trying to get some cool prize is trying to do some draws and, ah, trying to get some stuff together trying to do some dries, trying to do some stuff like that.
And, ah, I don't want to just put up a go fund me page and say Go do that.
There's enough people doing that.
So I've been talking to some sports memorabilia companies and that stuff that I know in some inside guys trying to find some high end football stuff.
It'll probably be like, You know, I'll give you my eyes by PayPal account.
Um, for every $5 that you donate, your name will go into a draw for some.
Really, We're talking, you know, hundreds and thousands of you know, there's a lot of good stuff.
Um, so hopefully I'll be getting that going in the next couple of days, just trying to figure out last little things here.
I'm looking at my own stuff.
What I can donate.
Um, What I think I've told this company is is what I might possibly do is if they can get the high end stuff.
Um, we've been talking between me and the company and we're gonna be donating some sports memorabilia and stuff and all that.
Ah, but between me and the company to we are thinking of any money we raise, we will together, we'll split it in half.
And we'll match any donations that we make, which will actually be you got only buying a raffle ticket when you do it.
So as soon as I have all that information up and done and up, I will get it out to everybody and Ah, and you'll be able to start putting your name in for ah, for the draws.
And we'll do the draw off.

But as soon as next season rolls around, I hope to do some.
I won't be doing a full season to play by Ray next.
You have already said it was too much, but I might do Ah ah, prime time games.
I haven't completely decided yet.
What I'll be doing play by Ray, but we'll be figured that all out.
