everybody, it is Alex from unwrap sports.
You do my NFL Week 12 picks is gonna be very interesting to see with so many games having a lot of playoff implications in the balance, let's start off with Thursday Night Football.
We have the Indianapolis Colts taken on the Houston Texans.
I have the Colts getting this victory, getting that number one in the division after what looked to be like a runaway for the Houston Texans.
I have the Colts winning this.
Y Houghton does not play, I think they're running.
Game is in good hands.
I think it really comes down to the Colts defensive line.
If they can take advantage of this Texans offensive line that has struggled these last few weeks and, you know, keeping their quarterback off his back.
I have, you know, percent, you know, playing very well.
But if if t y own comes back, I think he's gonna come back in a major way.
Two touchdowns against this, this Texas defense and what looks to be like a second home at the Houston at, uh, Houston's stadium, look at to Ellen and go for over 100 yards and two touchdowns if he can play because he is still battling that calf injury.
Next, we have the Sunday football.
We have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Atlanta Falcons, even though the Buccaneers have the annoying ability of, you know, looking really good out of nowhere, I still have the Atlanta Falcons winning this game.
Their defense has really stepped up these last few weeks.
After the bye week.
Matt Ryan has played very well.
I expect Brian Hill toe perform better than he did this past week if Devante Freeman is out, But I definitely have the Falcons winning this game, they're on a roll.
This team has the potential to be a lot better than what they've shown, and I think it's really gonna come down the next few weeks where they're going to be, You know, the dark horse and knocking teams out of the playoffs or hurting their chances.
You know, in what looked to be like an easier match of this past season, but I definitely have the Atlanta Falcons saying care of business against the Buccaneers.
See Julio Jones in the end zone.
It looks like Matt Ryan's kind of getting back into that zone really was the beneficial beneficiary of a great passing attack this past week.
Expect Julio to get himself involved this week.
Next, we have the Denver Broncos and the Buffalo Bills this game.
I really want to pick the Broncos because I think they have the potential to kind of get a sneak victory against the Buffalo Bills.
But, you know, after blowing a 20 lead, I wonder what the morale is around that team.
You know, whether you know, they agree with the quick play calling at the end of the game whether they felt like they let themselves down.
I just Everything is kind of going against.
The Broncos have the Bills taking care of business.
Josh Allen is played very well.
He's developed into a very strong dual threat quarterback.
I think he really knows how or when to run, you know, take advantage to the ground and went to really air it out.
You know, John Brown has been a great asset for him, and, you know, Beasley has been able to kind of fill in when they need him, too.
But I have the Buffalo Bills taking care of the Denver Broncos.
Next game we have is the New York Giants at the Chicago Bears.
This game looks to be a possible Chase Daniel start as Travis Key is dealing with his hip pointer, they may be resting him.
They may just want to use this as a quote unquote excuse to kind of, you know, get the ball back to Chase Daniel.
Currently, the Chicago Bears stand at four and six Giants there, too, and a two teams who are aren't exactly fighting for playoff spots.
I'm going to give this game to the Chicago Bears.
I think they're gonna pull this out.
Daniel Jones is very careless with the ball.
Has the most fumbles for a quarterback this season, you know, has thrown a interceptions.
You know, he's played very well.
He's, you know, put a points.
But I just think he is just a little too careless with the ball or not, You know, holding onto it in the pocket when he gets sacked.
I got the Chicago Bears taking care of business.
Expect Montgomery to really tear this giant's defense up.
I know he's had a very hot and cold season, but I think he has the ability to, you know, really gas this defense for over 100 yards through the ground.
Next game, we have the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Cincinnati Bengals, both teams who are very hurt right now.
James Connor is still questionable with a shoulder injury.
Not very sure if they're gonna risk him out there.
They sort of Jalen Samuels, Turo, Edmund's getting back.
Benny smell juice.
Schuster looks to be sitting out this week.
Deante Johnson is on track to play, and James Washington looks to be, uh, healthy and ready to go as well.
I have the Steelers pulling off this victory.
I think Jalen Samuels was gonna be a great option for Rudolph to kind of dump the ball off and kind of get to himself going.
I feel like the offense of coordinators going to try to minimize those deep throws.
He clearly is not at that level to really contribute, you know, on deep passes and without juju juju being kind of B deep threat of this offense.
I think they're going to shy away from that this week.
So expect the Steelers to kind of really do a ground and pound, especially if James Connor can't play, but I just don't see the Bangles offense being able to do much against this defense who I think is going to really show out after a week where the Cleveland Browns took advantage of their miscues.
Next game we have is the Carolina Panthers at the New Orleans Saints.
I have the Saints pulling off this victory, and it could go either way.
McCaffrey is kind of a wild card in this, as if he blows up and really tears.
ASAT There's defense apart from whether it be through the ground or through the air.
But ultimately, I think the Saints defense.
You know, he's kind of scene, you know, McCaffrey.
And I think they're gonna gonna be ableto, you know, keep him to just one touchdown, which I know sounds crazy to think.
But if the Atlanta Falcons, who have been a quote unquote Dumpster fire this whole season, I think the Saints defense who had a lot more talent, can keep McCaffrey and check, I expect to see you know Tamara Murray kind of get things going, get over 130 yards rushing through the ground.
I think they really need to focus on getting the ground game going.
I know Camara has kind of been not the runner that I think a lot of people expected him to be with Ingram, you know, being dealt to the Ravens or him signed to the Ravens.
Can't remember right now how that went down, but I have the same saying Care to the Carolina Panthers.
Next game we have is the Oakland Raiders at the new New York Jets.
I have the Raiders handling business, I think, you know, even with the Jets having such a great performance against the Redskins and the Raiders up defense being very suspect through the air, I think that ultimately kind of frustrate Donald and kind of keep him in check.
You know if if you getting enough pressure on him who make you no errors will throw, you know he's shown Ho throw the ball to the wrong team very often.
If he is constantly under pressure and I think the Raiders defensive ends will ultimately get a couple of sacks that I see the Raiders, you know, being all over Donald with five Saxes game, I really expect to see Dan Waller to get more involved.
I think this offense has been missing that, you know, this past week he got seven receptions.
Think that's a good start.
But there was a couple weeks where he kind of disappeared.
And I think Darren Waller is a huge key for Derek Carter.
Really excel? Because if you know, Wyler's kind of gash in the defense of the middle really opens it up for Williams to kind of, ah, break one deep.
So expect the Raiders to get a little bit more aggressive through the air, especially on the side opposite of Jamal Adams.
As you know, he continues to prove that even though he is on a struggling New York Jets team, he can definitely be a huge force on defense.
Next time we have is the Detroit lines of the Washington Redskins.
Detroit lines are down to it.
Looks like Driscoll might be starting.
Stafford might be questionable for the rest of the year and ultimately not play.
I think with his back injury and where the team stands at 36 and one that would be in their best interest to ensure that Stafford is not going to further damage is back and keep him, you know, on track to be healthy for next season.
You know, there are there without carry on, Johnson.
Nobody on that running back death chart has really stepped up to kind of claim that number one role.
Really? I believe scare, bro.
I apologize from butchering his name.
Looks to be the one who is gonna be the lead back this game.
I don't expect him to really do much.
I know the Redskins defense is one that has struggled mightily the season, but I'm gonna give this an upset victory to the Redskins.
I think Haskins this past week did a great job of, you know, getting what he could out of the Jets defense.
I think him in Terry McLaurin are really gonna mesh.
I see them connecting for a touchdown this this week.
It'll be the first time connecting since they were in college.
I see Geiss and Adrian Peterson going for over 100 yards.
I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but for two guys, especially to guys who have potential toe mean, obviously Adrian Peterson.
But guys who has a potential toe really be a breakout back.
I think they're really gonna do a dual quarterback.
I mean, running back situation.
So expect guys and Peterson and really, you know, split carries, like the way they did this past game with, I believe Adrian Peterson having nine and guys having eight.
So it look for a riel emphasis on the run game.
I think the Redskins will surprise lines and get that second victory of the season.
Next game we had our is the Seattle Seahawks visiting the Philadelphia Eagles Eagles are going to fall under 500 take the loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
I'm sure this is gonna be a game where a lot of people kind of go with the Eagles of maybe, you know, they think, you know, lock it being hurt.
Does that alter the pass offense for the Seattle Seahawks? I don't think it ultimately does.
It is a huge contributor of this offense, but I think Russell Wilson has the ability to kind of, you know, get things going with his other receivers.
You know, Hollister, the backup tight end who kind of stepped up and has really shined these last few weeks.
Well, you know, look, to continue to play very well.
Kind of looks to be of, ah, player that Russell Wilson likes to kind of go to, you know, to kind of get those routes through the middle of the defense.
I you know, I hope to see Carson really got to get the ball rolling on the ground.
Should be something to really look for, I think.
Ultimately the Seattle Seahawks pulled this victory off and put the Philadelphia Eagles in a tough spot as a fight for their division.
Next game we have is the Jacksonville Jaguars visiting the Tennessee Titans.
I have the Jaguars pulling off this victory, Nick Foles.
I see him, you know, really taking a step forward from his last start.
I see him going for three touchdowns.
Look to see. You know Dede Westbrook.
Get more involved.
He was kind of the main target in that short amount of time.
He played in that first game chart has really emerged as a strong receiver for this team.
I don't see that really changing.
I think that Nick Foles will, you know, ultimately kind of play up to what his potential was when he signed this deal.
I really do see this game being a close one, though, because the Tennessee Titans, you know Tannehill played exceptionally well against achieves.
No, Derrick Henry has proven that that one game he had in Jacksonville this past season and you know the game, since it's not a fluke, he finally broke out.
He finally figured it out.
The game finally slowed down for him.
I think the Derrick Henry, you know, the times are at the mercy of what Tannehill could take him there.
But you know, Derrick Henry has the ability to really alter a game if you can gash defense for a long run, which could happen with the Jacksonville Jaguars because they did give up 200 yards rushing to the Colts.
I do have the Jaguars pulling this off.
I don't see the Jaguars defense having to back to back rough games, allowing rushers kit that many arts to the ground.
So that will be a game to really look at.
That should be interesting.
Next game I have here is the Dallas Cowboys at the New England Patriots at the Cowboys.
Pulling off the upset against the Patriots, the Eagles have shown that is long as you can get pressure on Tom Brady.
As long as you keep them out of rhythm, there is a way to keep yourself in the game.
And I think the Dallas Cowboys defense is a lot better than I think.
A lot of people realized.
The Marcus Lawrence, you know, they have Ah, Cliff A The April.
I might have the fact check that one, but they have a strong defensive line if they can get to the quarterback early and often where at least disrupt the running plays.
I think the Cowboys offense can take advantage of this New England defense that has been very exceptional this season.
I think that'll be something to definitely look for in the New England Patriots.
Next game I have is the Green Bay Packers at the San Francisco 40 Niners.
This game is going to be very interesting to watch.
You know Aaron Rodgers and the Mat LeFlore offense has really flourished as the season kind of has progressed also with the 40 Niners.
You know, Garoppolo has played very well in the games that he's had to kind of, ah, be the force that gets him in there.
But I think in this game.
I'm gonna go with E Sam Cisco, 40 Niners.
I think they're gonna find a way to neutralize Aaron Jones and kind of force, other options to kind of really step up Davante.
Adams has been a very great possession receiver for Aaron Rodgers, but he hasn't kind of been the the threat to kind of break a defense open, which is what he kind of was these past couple of seasons.
I think that has a lot to do with his health.
That turf toe injury can be quite detrimental to a Receivers were out running, but I think you know, ultimately it'll be a close game.
I don't think it will be a shutout by any means, but I think that San Francisco 40 and our defense is going to ultimately keep the Green Bay Packers and check.
And I think B 40 Niners running game is gonna get back up and going.
They struggled this past week and the week before they weren't that strong either.
I think ultimately, you know, you see if Brita goes or Coleman, I think one of those guys are really gonna break out 400 yards against this Green Bay defense.
So I definitely have the 40 Niners giving another lost to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
And finally, we have Monday Night Football, which is the Baltimore Ravens at the Los Angeles Rams.
It is Marcus Peters home coming back to his previous team, the Los Angeles Rams.
I think I'm going to call it just cause I think it could happen with wait.
Marcus Peters has really performed in his new home.
I have him intercepting golfer, touched a pound and really antagonizing the Rams fans.
But ultimately, I think the Ravens offense is too much for this defense.
Jalen Ramsey has been amazing.
You know, whether they put him on Andrew's, that they want to get him on the tight end or put him on marquees Brown, who has proven he has speed to burn.
I ultimately think Lamar Jackson represents way too much of, Ah of a threat to this defense.
And ultimately, you know the Rams are gonna be ableto keep the Ravens out of the end zone, and the Ravens defense is is right up there with the offense at this point with the way that they performed.
And I think ultimately the Ravens defense is going to keep the Rams and check I.
I expect to see a very poor showing from Cooper Cup.
Robert Woods is still dealing with the personal matter.
Brandin cooks looks to be back.
But you know there's only so much you can do without your some of your best play makers.
And obviously, Todd Gurley is not the same running back or they're not treating him like the same running back this past season.
But ultimately, I have the Baltimore Ravens pulling off that victory against the Los Angeles Rams.
That is it for my NFL we 12 picks.
Thank you for tuning in. This is Alex from Unwrap Sports.
