Tom Brady is frustrated.
I know what you know what.
Everybody knows that Tom Brady is frustrated.
It's the first time ever that we saw Brady upset after a win.
Normally, Brady's the type of guy who can get over things all right.
Things didn't work well.
He tried to pretend he was tired.
The media knew better.
Here was Brady's quote after the game, he said, Quote, It's just frustrating with the offense.
We're trying to grind them out.
I'm happy we won on the road, but the same time I wish we could have scored more points.
We have to figure out how we can fix our problems as best we can.
As crazy as it sounds, we're still kind of relatively new, getting familiar with with each other on offense.
End quote and it's really true.
And I went through the gone that yesterday.
Mohammed Sunu is brand new tequila.
Harry just played his first game of his professional debut.
No, his professional life.
You know Josh Gordon's not there.
Antonio Brown's not their day.
Marius Thomas is in there.
Gronkowski is not there.
Amendola hasn't been there in a couple years, so all of sort of you know guys up, Brady was clicking with or no longer New England Patriots, the only constant really being Julian Edelman into some extent.
Philip Door set.
Now, yesterday when I was asked about Tom Brady and you know is he declined, and I said, Nobody's playing frustrated, and I want to see him play mad.
Well, Patrick Morgan, a musket wire kind of challenged me.
He has no idea who I am, but sort of challenge my thought process around it when he wrote an article.
So I'm going to kind of go through a couple little excerpts of what he wrote and kind of give my opinion on.
So he started with Tom Brady was non too pleased with State of the New England Patriots offense Sunday night after mustering just 17 points in a narrow win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Never mind that the Patriots played the game on the road in a hostile environment, that the Eagles are a playoff caliber opponent who came into this matchup leading their division, or that these two teams obviously have some deep seated history and animosity.
After meeting not just once but twice in the Super Bowl, New England responded well as a team too early at adversity after falling behind 10 nothing to Philadelphia by the second quarter, rattling off three field goals before Julian Edelman Touchdown Throat of Philip Door set on a trick play that put the Patriots up for good.
Bill Belichick's defense stiffened down the stretch and frustrated Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz and his injury ra***ed supporting cast for most of the final 3/4 shutting them down and shutting them out.
End quote on that.
So if you really look at it, Tom Brady was given very little credit there.
And I understand that was just really a summary of what's been going on with this Patriots offense.
But the reality is, I don't like Tom Brady playing frustrated.
I like a mad Tom Brady.
We all know what happens when Tom Brady gets mad when Tom Brady is playing with a chip on his shoulder.
But frustrated is different.
We saw it was clear as day when he threw the ball that Jacoby Meyers and admires ran the wrong route.
He just had a disgusted look on his face, so it just gets me thinking like, should we be happy Well, let me continue on with the article, what Morgan wrote, and it's the last piece that I'm gonna write.
It goes with this.
If Brady wasn't upset if he just stood up there in front of the cameras and reporters after a perfectly commendable road victory over respectable Eagle Squad smiled, blushed and waved with beaming satisfaction than that would be concerning.
Why? Because it would indicate that Brady maybe was starting to do something he's never done before in his football career.
Brady is the quickest conduit to Brady.
Improving himself and those around him and improved Brady and an improved offense is the fastest past two Sure Patriots victories and sure of Patriots victories lead directly back to a happier Brady.
It's all a circle, a continuous loop, really? Right now, Brady sounds like he's on the verge of transforming this frustration into action, which it's just a short distance away on the circle from winning football games and dramatic and decisive fashion once again.
So, in actuality, Brady is actually where he needs to be this time of year, and we should be thrilled because of it.
So yesterday I wasn't convinced that I was happy with Tom Brady's mindset.
I really thought that.
Okay, you know, Brady's not playing mad, blah, blah.
But after reading this and there was more and I suggest you go read, it's on Patriots wire. It's a good article.
It's long. I didn't want to read the whole article to you.
I just wanted to call it a couple of pieces and give my opinions.
But after reading that, I started re evaluating my thought process, and I think that Morgan could be absolutely, positively right.
We all know that Tom Brady is the catalyst of the offense and if he can, on his own, and he's do have been doing it for years, has been willing offenses and lesser talent around him to be better.
He's willed those players to victory, and I'm wondering if that's what we're going to start seeing over the next couple of weeks because it started right.
We've seen it, Nick, right? Shannon Sharpe was screaming about Tom Brady on Monday, screaming.
He got overly upset, and you can see that the people who are calling him on his B s is starting to get to him.
You know, people are telling me I'm Joe lists, jokes.
You're jealous, Shannon.
You're jealous because you're never gonna have the same recognition is Tom Brady Nick, right? Talking about how Tom Brady's done and finished, I'm sure Rob Parker talked about Tom Brady's well, I just didn't pay attention.
Greg Jennings, ****ysts that I respect came out today and said, People don't fear the Patriots anymore.
That's all kind of stuff that's going to go back to Tom Brady.
We know that Belichick finds the ways the light a fire in motivate his players.
I did one thing as a Patriots fan that frustrates me.
It's been the same **** narrative for the last 45 years.
People don't fear playing the Patriots, but blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
We've heard it all.
We've seen it all like it's getting boring now is that I don't even argue it or defend anymore because we just heard the same bull over and over and over again.
And you know what? Maybe I am getting a little salty.
Maybe I am getting a little bit of bitter.
Maybe I'm getting a little bit of a bitter taste in my mouth with all of the just bull that's going towards the Patriots.
And it's coming from Patriots fans to who are frustrated with the offense.
At times, it can be very frustrating to watch this team that's underperforming, But I think sometimes we lose sight that the team is nine and one.
I mean, this has gotta be the most underrated nine and one team in the world.
They put San Francisco on this pedestal, even though we watched generally G shake his way to a loss against the Seahawks after the Seahawks did everything they could to try to give the San Francisco 40 Niners the victory And I don't Patrick.
My Homes had worse stats and Tom Brady on Monday Night Football.
I didn't see the talking heads ripping him apart today.
The Patriots even play yesterday, Yet he was.
They were the leading story on everything I was watching Good good morning football This morning.
They're talking about the Patriots and Tom Brady.
They're talking about him on first take.
They're talking about him everywhere.
So maybe it's okay that Tom Brady's frustrated.
Maybe I ****yze that incorrectly.
Maybe as a fan. I don't know.
I just Maybe I was looking for the negative, and that's not me to look for the negative.
But you know what? I'm happy that Tom Brady's frustrated.
I'm happy that he's ****ed off.
On an off day, he showed up to Gillette Stadium.
I'm happy that on a victory Monday, he didn't post one of his Instagram or Twitter videos talking about how great of victory was.
He was in Gillette.
He was back at work, making sure that he's better and him being better is only gonna make the Patriots offense better.
What's going on, everybody and your boy Ray, and welcome to my little show here on D P N.
Thank you to everybody who's in here tuning in live on SportsCastr and thank you to everybody who is watching the replay on YouTube.
You guys are amazing.
Nobody go anywhere.
I've got a whole lot of stuff that I want to discuss tonight.
I want to talk about Isaiah.
Win is making his long awaited return this week when the Patriots play the Dallas Cowboys and Isaiah Isaiah Win could actually become the number one hero in New England or he could become a fee villain very quickly.
I want to talk about how the Patriots, according to Nick right, have the their demand.
Their defense is the best unit in football, not the best defensive unit, the best unit in football.
I finally agree with weaselly little Nick, right? I want to talk about how Rob Gronkowski made his announcement today and how he is not returning to football at least this season.
Roger Goodell finally responded to the Myles Garrett suspension, and Grand compared his incident in 2017 against the Buffalo Bills to it Monday Night Football.
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the L.
A Chargers, and Philip Rivers blew the opportunity to beat the Chiefs and the Chiefs, really just Philip Rivers on his own, gave the game to Patrick Mahomes.
And then I guess I have to address the elephant in the room.
Everybody's talking about it.
Antonio Brown's apology to Robert Kraft on via Twitter, an instagram.
Everybody who's watching live on SportsCastr get those questions ready.
Like always, I will be hosting a live Q and A after I'm done on my subject matter.

That's at D p n underscore, Ray.
You know, I know that Pat's Nation spreads far and wide.
We got Rhino from Australia, Joe from Rochester Ray from Toronto, Canada Today I was up in Catholic Ontario, a little northern town.
I was there for work.
I was there a jaw at a university in career fair, and I didn't just meet a Patriots fan.
I met a DP N fan when my boy Liam came up to me and said, Hello And Liam, I want to thank you for coming and saying hi today.
And you know I'm happy that, you know, you took a picture and I man, I love when I get to meet you guys.
It doesn't happen often, but I love what it happens if you see me on the street to see me walking around.
Anthony found me in Orlando, Florida, this winter.
I can't remember who the other guys, but he found me and is in Rochester for, Ah, for a soccer tournament comes to high.
I love saying Hi, love taking pictures, Love talking, Patriots football.
Liam, you're the man.
Thank you for making my day.
And with all that being said, let's get this going because here on DP and we like football.
We like football season and everything that goes with it.
So, look, Isaiah Win is making his return to the Patriots, and he could be.
The Patriots last hope to correct this offense, and he could be the hero of the season.
Or he could turn into the villain.
We know it because if the offense doesn't turn around, My God, they're gonna blame Isaiah win.
But he the pressure that's gonna be on this poor kid.
So let's just temporary expectations somebody may beat him.
Somebody may sacked Brady from the blind side.
It happens to the best lineman in the league, but Georgie McElroy from Pats Pulpit wrote about this today and I pull up a couple of his ex Urtz, which I thought were really good.
Let's look at them, and I thought this was the greatest line.
While the NFL world remains on, Rob Gronkowski watched the New England Patriots continue to struggle with the reality that their offense isn't good enough and returning left tackle Isaiah Win is the Onley one left to save it.
Winning is the only way out of this hellhole, where an offense led by Tom Brady is a glaring weakness on the football field.
All right, first of all, Ah, love, Georgie.
I think he's a great writer.
I love this stuff.
I don't even disagree with his entire article, but I think that that's just a little bit of an overreaction, Jordy calling this Patriots offense a hellhole.
You look at their Devi away.
There's still the like number 11th Devi away in the NFL right now.
Um, there's still nine and one.
They're still winning games.
I wouldn't call it a hellhole.
And yeah, the Patriots defense has been the story of the year.
We know that it's not like it's a surprise to any of us that the defense, you know, is getting all the praise.
Has the offense been a well oiled machine? You know what at times it has been, but we've also seen it, Really.
The precipitate in a big part of that has been because of Marshall Newhouse.
So Isaiah Win returning is going to be a huge thing for the Patriots, and Jordy agrees when he says it's no mere coincidence that the Patriots struggle started the moment the offensive line took hits.
For all of the jokes about the Patriots defense, making New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold see ghost Brady is Experion, his own poultry dice issues in the pocket as well.
It's a natural occurrence when protection breaks down in the quarterback is left on the island at the mercy of a £250 pass rusher.
Winds return should serve as a domino effect across the entire offensive front.
Not on Lee will.
His mere presence increased Brady's confidence in his blind side being protected, but it will also be a significant boost to the run game.
The ability to consistently run the ball is the reason why the Patriots won the Super Bowl last season.
I mean, you, you break that whole thing down.
How can you not? How can you not but agree with it, right? We talked about it all season.
I think a big part of the entire offensive lines problem has been, is the right side has been under so much pressure because of how bad the left side has been.
You couldn't run the ball on the left side if you watch every time.
The Patriots tried to run to the ball with left and tried to run behind Marshall Newhouse, number one, he blocked nobody on run place.
He'd be running downfield, not blocking anybody.
He was too slow.
His footwork was too bad he couldn't get to them.
That forced the Patriots to run to the right side, which became predictable and with no running game.
That forced Tom Brady to throw the ball more and also came to the point when Sony Michelle was not on the field, they knew it was a pass.
When Sony Michelle was on the field, they knew it was a run.
Anyone that Patriots tried to disguise that they couldn't because Marshall Newhouse gave everything away.
So Isaiah win is going to be a huge breath of fresh air coming back this season and look like I said, I'm Mr Positive.
I Mr the New England Patriots of the best team in the world and they can't do anything wrong. They're nine and one.
They're a perfect team.
And even I couldn't find anything nice to say about Marshall Newhouse.
I can't blame anybody who talked who was torching him on Twitter or here on SportsCastr on YouTube wherever they're going after him.
And you know what he might be, just is relieved to get off the field because there's no way that he can't know just how bad he has been.
And I've said this a 1,000,000 times.
I don't want to harp on this issue.
But Marshall Newhouse has been the biggest Y ability I have ever seen on the Patriots offensive line like a liability.
I don't even know if I can ever look at a Patriot's player and say he was a liability, and that includes Cyrus Jones and you know Eric Rowe.
But Marshall Newhouse has been a liability.
And if you watched how Brady played against the Pittsburgh Steelers when Isaiah Win played his Onley full game of the season.
Brady played phenomenal.
Any look comfortable and he looked ready to throw.
He wasn't rushing his passes.
He was just playing the game.
The way was supposed to be played, and I think that that's what we're all hoping for with Isaiah.
Winds return this week and they got a tough test with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Dallas Cowboys got a great offense and, yeah, I think the Patriots defense is up to the test, but they might score.
So the Patriots offense may have to match some points for a little bit, because when you're playing a team like Dallas, you can't just rely on the defense shutting them out.
Dallas has some weapons, and as this week goes on, I'm gonna break down what they're able to do.
And it's probably the most even match up the patrons have played this year, so I'd say one's gonna be a big breath of fresh air.
I can't wait to see what he can do to improve the offense.
I'm so happy that Brady was at the facility yesterday.
From what I heard and what I've read almost every Patriots player was at the facility yesterday, despite it being an off day getting in their work.
They need a good week of practice, their back at home after two tough road games, splitting those road games one and one Gillette Stadium better be rocking on Sunday because I don't want secret doctor any of those boys getting any mo mentum at home.
So look, Nick right is probably Enemy number two in New England, just behind Rob Parker.
Right? Nick, right consistently goes after the Patriots.
He consistently goes after ballot.
Shockey consistently goes after Tom Brady.
He tries to cover his story by saying, I can't take away things that Tom Brady did and blah, blah, blah.
But, you know, they suck.
And I think he was even at it again today.
And he does his blind comparison.
Who do you want? Yada, yada, yada.
He ignores stats like Brady being like third and yards on the season, But that's fine.
It's fine, Nick, but he finally said something that makes sense.
And every once in a while, these guys were Rob Parker never has.
But every once in a while, these other guys will Nick Wright believes that New England Patriots defense is the single best unit in football.
Here's his exact quote, he said. Quote.
The Patriots defense continues to be the single best unit in football, better than the Lamar Jackson led ravensoffense, better than the Niners defense better than the Chiefs with a healthy Patrick Mahomes offense.
The Patriots defense is the single best unit in football, and it showed again yesterday.
Now, I'm sure he was also using that, too.
Rip apart Tom Brady in the offense.
I didn't read the whole thing, but I saw this quote.
So I thought, You know what, Nick? I'm going to give you a little bit of credibility and Pats Nation.
I'm gonna throw you a bone because believe me, past nation respects me more than they respect you, and I don't even respect me.
Okay, so but he's true.
And when you look at the stats when you look at the Devi, always when you look at everything, it shows you what the Patriots are.
Let's look at this Patriots team stats okay, yards per game, 249.
9 yards per game.
Guess what? That's the best in the NFL past defense.
They give up 152.
6 passing yards per game.
That's second best, just behind San Francisco.
They have the 10th best run defense and yards at 97.
3 yards per game.
When you look at the Devi away, which I believe is the best way to judge how a team plays because it takes everything in the consideration, it takes the teams the elements.
Whether it's a home game, a road game, it's better than just straight stats, a straight wins and losses.
You can't argue schedule when you look at Devi away.
And when you look at the Patriots, too, offensive efficiency.
They are rated as the best defense in the NFL.
They are the second best pass defense, and they're the 14th best run defense.
And you know what? Yeah, it's gonna be a factor because of those games against Baltimore and against Cleveland and against Buffalo, because they did give up big yards on those games.
Besides that, the Patriots have been fantastic as a defense.
They've had one blip on the radar that was against Baltimore.
That was against a weird sort of unique offense.
One that I believe Tom Brady up.
Ballot Shack will be ready to counter the next time they play and you know it in that game against Baltimore, not only where they all played in out scheme, there was also players on the Patriots who have been playmakers this whole season who were honest, like the worst players.
I'm gonna give it to my boy.
I'm wearing his jersey tonight.
He's like my favorite patriot.
Probably my top three Patriot of all time.
Hightower had an awful game against Baltimore.
He was one of the liabilities on the Patriots defense that night.
It was just a bad game.
And, you know, Tony Romo has this narrative of, you know, nobody.
You know, they're all nobody on this team has.
Names are all no name guys.
What are you talking about? First round draft pick stuff on Gilmore.
First round draft pick Dont'a Hightower.
Second round draft pick Kyle Van Noise, second round draft pick Jamie Collins.
Are those the no name guys that Tony Romo was talking about first round draft pick Devin McCourty anyways, So the Patriot Steve has been phenomenal.
I've given Nick right.
A little bit of flex actually makes sense now, and it's time to move on with our life now.
Anybody who follows me on YouTube.
Um, I wrote an open letter to Pats Nation today on my comment on the ah, the post of community page, and I said that I woke up this morning feeling bad for Patriot fans who believed that Rob Gronkowski was gonna make an announcement this morning saying he was returning to football.
Let me just read you this little clip.
Rob Gronkowski plans to be in Miami for Super Bowl weekend, but he will not be playing in the big game.
The retired tight and announced Tuesday he'll be hosting a beach party music festival.
We're going to be the world champs again.
But this time of parting, it's gonna be the biggest rager Miami has ever seen.
Gronk sent in a video shared on instagram and quote.
Many, including New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, have held out hope that the four time All Pro would make a late season return for the Patriots playoff run.
But Gronkowski has maintained all year that he has no plans to return to the grid iron in the new future in the near future.
There was a lot of people optimistic yesterday, man.
My mentions went crazy about what? I thought they announced it was gonna be and I said it.
I didn't think was gonna be a beach party.
I said I was probably another book deal or something to do with C B. D.
And I think he's gonna be hosting some game show Now.
Gronkowski has a busy life football and earliest plane football because he is on the Fox pregame show.
Now playing football is not his priority, but the biggest giveaway.
And I said at the moment I saw Gronk's announcement that he had an announcement on Tuesday.
He was announcing it on Instagram.
And in what world do we think Bill Belichick would say? Yeah, Gronk, why don't you announced everybody on your INSTAGRAM account that you're coming back to play football? Where did people think that conversation would happen if it was snapped? Face? Maybe, but it wasn't snapped.
Face was Instagram.
I'm surprised the Patriots organization is even allowed to have a team Social media page.
Oh, yeah, I'm sorry The good news is that we can finally put it all to bed.
We don't have to think about it anymore.
This season, we can start debating and marginally pull it. Jason Witten.
Will he come out of retirement? Return to football? That's fine.
We can talk about it then.
And this time next year we'll be talking about Maybe Gronk is coming back.
We'll probably talking about it until Grok is 45 years old.
But for now, for the rest of the season, in the next 11 days, Rob Gronkowski is not gonna come out and say, Hey, I'm returning to football.
He's already booked themselves for Super Bowl weekend, so we wouldn't even be available to play for the Patriots.
So I'm sorry for everybody who thought that it was gonna happen, but it didn't.
Now, one thing that I want to address is non Patriot.
Related is Roger Goodell finally commented on Miles Garrett suspension.
He's been suspended for the rest of the season and he kind of talked about what the next steps are, and I heard get Dow the clowns explanation of it.
I'm going to read it to you and then I'm gonna give you my thoughts and it goes like that.
NFL commissioner So this was written up by Mike Alexandra from the score.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell expressed Monday hit his disappointment in Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett quote.
There's no place for that in the game, Goodell told Gary Meyers of Pro of preflight playbook.
He will not play for the rest of the season.
He will probably meet with us sometime in the off season and I think that will make a judgment on.
Does he have remorse? Does he understand why it's not acceptable? Do we understand what he's going to do to make sure it doesn't happen again? Those are the things that are going to be very important to us.
Is probably the most significant discipline we've had from any single incident in our history, although we don't keep that stat, I'd be surprised if it wasn't, Goodell said.
It was in my view and I think our football people saw something that had to be dealt with very quickly and very firmly to make it clear to the players that it's not acceptable.
So that is an unacceptable season.
And yet guys can lead with their helmets.
Torpedo guy's head to head contact, and it's nothing more than a fine in a 15 yard penalty.
Roger Goodell is a joke in how inconsistent is.
Should Myles Garrett be suspended? Absolutely, He should be suspended.
Should he be sisters? Two suspended the rest of the season? Absolutely not, because we've seen things just is egregious.
Should have been suspended for life years ago.
I dare say Rob Gronkowski should have got more than one game for dropping an elbow on the back of a defensive players neck.
Philip Door sets out with a concussion cause he got hit in the head in the end zone on Sunday.
Why are you suspending him? Roger, and I'm not here to defend Myles Garrett.
I'm not here to defend Mason Rudolph.
I don't care either way, but what I'm getting at it is we're acting like this was We're acting like Myles Garrett brought a weapon onto the field.
He hit him with a helmet.
I've hit my head harder on two by fours and pipes in my ba*****t.
Then he hit Mason Rudolph with his helmet.
You know, people well, makes the rule, is gonna have a concussion.
He could have killed him, Ray.
He could have killed him by hitting with his helmet, and Gronkowski could have broken.
What's his name's neck? A Tra Davies White's neck when he put his entire body weight elbow first right into his head.
And I'm not here ripping on Gronk because I'm gonna read you Guang Gronk's quote about it because he talked about this and gave us a little bit of insight on how, yes, it's not a football move, but why stuff like this happens on the football field.
Here's what Gronk said, quote.
I've never seen something like this, and it's just not made for the game of football.
It was ugly, Gronkowski said Sunday on Fox quote.
You've got to look at the cir***stances.
I've had a similar situation happen to me like this before.
I kind of would call it like a blackout.
You just black out on the field.
It's when I was playing the Buffalo Bills and it was versus for Davis White.
I got held three times in the play.
I was getting held throughout the whole season.
That frustration finally came to me right there on the spot.
He made the interception on the play.
I got held about three times on that same play and I just got up and I was frustrated.
I just blacked out and I was furious.
I was running after him like like the play was still going on and I went down and the second I went down the second I brought the elbow right into his neck.
I said, Oh no, what am I doing? This isn't me.
The follow through went through.
It happened, but I knew right at that second, it wasn't me End quote, and we all gave Rob Gronkowski the benefit of the doubt.
But nobody's giving Myles Garrett the benefit of the doubt.
We're acting like it's the worst thing we've ever seen on the field.
Gronkowski through his elbow into somebody's neck when he was lying face first on the ground because he was held.
And I'm not making this about Gronk.
I'm making the comparison.
Mason Rudolph kicked Myles Garrett in the nuts, tried to rip his helmet off.
It was a fight on the football field.
You could argue if you really wanted to that Gronk's action was worse.
It was unprovoked.
He was being held.
And again, I'm not trying to make the smoke Gronkowski.
I'm not trying to say that Drawing is a bad guy at all, because his comments talked about it wasn't him that wasn't in Gronkowski's makeup.
It wasn't in his character to do that kind of stuff, just like it's not in my Miles Garrett's character.
And we see dirty players that goal for knees that go for head shots used their helmets as weapons when it's on their head just because it was taken off.
Pouncey was kicking somebody in the head when the guy was on the ground when Myles Garrett was on the ground lying down.
But nobody's calling that agree.
Just nobody's freaking out about that, and I'm really done talking about that situation.
But because Goodell finally responded to it.
I've been waiting for get out to respond to it Anyways, I just wanted to get that off my chest.
I just wanted to talk about it, wanted to share with you guys, and I got to share how Philip Rivers is done, and I know being a Patriots fan and I see you have to hearing about Tom Brady all the time and I Don Tom Brady is finished.
Philip Rivers has actually done because I don't think there's a globe.
The page only lost one game this season.
I don't think we can point to many games that Tom Brady was the problem in a loss.
And yet Philip Rivers has been the problem all season for the Chargers.
And last night the Chargers fell 24 to 17 of the Kansas City Chiefs, and it was Philip Rivers fault.
I was reading an article on charges while charges wire by Gavino Borquez, and he said this tonight's loss fell on River shoulders.
He had two opportunities to tie the game in the fourth quarter, but they both ended up being interceptions.
Poor decision making and regression and arm talent continue to be evident.
Philip Rivers has thrown seven interceptions in his last two games, the most in any two game span in his career.
Rivers weapons did him a lot of favors with some of their eye popping catches tonight.
Wide receiver Keenan Allen had a bounce back game, including reeling in his first touchdown pass for the first time in three weeks, the Chargers defense did their job.
The charges defense, very much like the Patriots defense do put the Chargers in good position to beat the Kansas City Chiefs.
Mahomes, Patrick, MMA Patrick freakin.
Mahomes went 19 for 32 for 182 yards, one touchdown in one interception.
He carried the ball for 59 yards on five carries.
He had a total of 241 yards with a quarterback rating of 72.7.
If a team defense is able to do that to Patrick Mahomes, there is zero reason that that team should lose.
There was no and, you know, it was almost kind of like just, you know, a pay back for the Chiefs because they shouldn't have lost to the Titans last week.
And then today, there Monday night, they should have lost on that crappy ass field in Mexico, and the NFL needs to just stop going to Mexico because they've yet to put on a decent field for an NFL game.
And why couldn't the Chargers beat the Chiefs? Because Philip Rivers went 28 for 52 28 for 52.
He threw the ball 52 times and only completed 28 passes.
Yeah, he got 353 yards because he threw it 52 times.
He threw a touchdown pass to Keenan Allen and threw four interceptions and fumbled the ball.
He had a quarterback grade in a 49.6.
Ladies and gentlemen, because I'm a Patriots fan because I'm a Tom Brady fan because I'm tired of the Patriots Hate talk all the time.
I hate saying that an older quarterback is done.
I hate to be the one of those guys, but Philip Rivers career has to be over after this season because he looks like an old man.
He does not look like the Philip Rivers who used to get me just ridiculous fantasy points.
And now I have to address the elephant in the room.
I saw Rhino going at it with some Patriot fans today.
I saw other people talking about said we shouldn't we and you guys all got to know what I'm talking about.
Antonio Brown, A B Buhman, made a public apology on Twitter and Instagram today to the Patriots owner Robert Kraft he said, Quote, Mr Kraft, I apologize sincerely to you and your organization.
All I wanted to be was an asset to the organization.
Sorry for the bad media and the drama.
Sincerely, a B Because of Antonio Brown.
Sporadic mood swings on social media.
I have no idea what to make of this people.
And I went when I saw it, I just went No, and I didn't say it from because of a B.
I said it because I knew my mentions.
We're gonna blow up with people asking me my opinion, and I had no idea what to say.
People like what? Your thoughts on this and I just said, I don't really have any because A that I don't think the Patriots weaken wish and hope all you want.
All I want doesn't matter who wants what, and I'm not getting into the Should Day couldn't Maywood Day.
I'm just talking fact.
I do not see any scenario that Robert Kraft allows Bill Belichick to bring Antonio Brown back onto the team.
I don't see any scenario that even if Robert Kraft bid, Antonio Brown doesn't immediately give put onto the commissioner's example is too soon as he's on the roster, So should he Shouldn't should they shouldn't a.
It's really a mute point at this point at this at this point in time.
Now, I know before the Patriots sign Antonio Brown, I said, No way, no, How is that gonna happen? And then later on that afternoon it happened.
But I do not think it's gonna happen this time.
I do not see a scenario that it happens, and I don't know if you guys saw him masterworks video today.
I wasn't able to watch the whole thing, and I'm trying to figure out if he's being serious or if he wasn't.
But he put out a public plea to Robert Kraft on behalf of Patriot fans.
I suggest you go check it out, I said, We re sign Antonio Brown and I get it.
We just spent two segments of this show talking about the Patriots offense.
Now I think a big problem of it was because of Marshall Newhouse.
What? It is what it is.
Like I said, I'm not even gonna get into this, should they shouldn't a conversation, because I don't even think there's a point to I just don't see it happening, I think just like Rob Gronkowski coming back to the Patriots.
It's just a bunch of false hope, I guess.
The only thing to give you any hope or to give you any pleasure in your life it's, you know, never say never, I guess.
But I wouldn't be holding my breath if I was you waiting for the Patriots to make this move.
I just don't see it happening.
I just don't see it being a thing.
That's all I got to say about that.
That's really all I have to say tonight.
So thank you for everybody who just dealt with my little rant to my little scream faster.
My little patriots know it.
Wanna be What? I don't know what I'm saying.
Anybody who's got a question, please drop the question.
Now questions do do do do do do I know Josh Wa What's your question, buddy? You said I hope you answer my question.
I will answer your question now.
Oh, it's Twitter.
Did you at me or did you message me? You added me.
Is your name Joshua on Twitter? Did you just send it to me? Oh, here we go, ray with wind being activated.
An outhouse not starting.
Which of them new starting five linemen do you think are the best this season from one being the past and five Bean to the worst.
I know wins, first couple of games or small sample sizes.
So you want me to rank this current offensive line? Not including Marshall Newhouse Or do you want me to talk about all of them? They brought in like aluminum and all of them all the five.
I need more clarification.
The five new guys were the five offensive lineman's like shock may saying, and that was kind of guys starting five.
All right, um, I gotta give Marcus Cannon number one man Marcus can and I think has been the best Patriots offensive lineman this season.
Uh, he had a He had a rough start lying in a rough year last year is probably the worst offensive lineman on the team.
I think in a big bounce back here, his footwork has been really good, which is not Ah, you know, which was his problem last year.
Ah, I think he's been really, really solid.
I think he's our best.
I think Joe Tooni has been our second best offensive lineman.
I think you did a really good job being sandwiched in between Marshall, Newhouse or outhouse.
Whatever you wanna call him and Ted caress.
Um, that's a lot of pressure on Joe to me on that left side.
He's gonna be a free agent this year.
I hope that this is the guy that taught her that Bill Belichick will spend money on.
I think he's gonna be one of the tougher guys to replace if we have.
If we lost him in free agency.
Um, after that, I would probably you know what I would probably have to say.
Ted Caress has done a good job this year, replacing David Andrews.
I can't I can pinpoint, like, one or two plays where I wasn't happy with them.
I know, you know, his snaps have been a little off this year, but his communication has been good.
There was only to me one breakdown where he, you know, Mrs blocking assignment, and it turned into a Brady interception.
Ah, but besides that, he's done really well.
My fourth best shack. Mason.
Last year he was the best rated guard in the NFL.
The You know, the Tooni Maze in tandem was the best guard tandem in the NFL shock Mason.
Is that a bad year? His hand work has been awful.
His footwork has been awful.
Ah, lot of things about his line play have not been good as a guard myself, you know, As a former guard, I have not been impressed with him at all.
I think he's slow coming out of his jump.
I don't know if he put on weight, and that's why you can't get his footwork in the place.
I know that in the past, he's had footwork issues and, you know, and being an offensive lineman, especially a guard, your footwork is probably your most important attributes that you can bring to the team.
Um, so, yeah, I have him for And then I have Isaiah win as number five on Lee because we've only seen one game.
There's only been a small sample size, so I can't really rate him yet.
Marshall Newhouse would obviously be like minus 10.
He was worse than the guys who didn't play, in my opinion, but if I had to raise him he'd be number five.
Everything he did was wrong.
His blocking scheme socked, his lane socked, his polls socked.
Everything sucked about.
This year, I'll be interested to see what Isaiah win can.
D'oh! I think the question.
If you were the offensive coordinator, the Patriots, what would you do to help the Patriots offense? I'd run no huddle like like crazy.
I know it could be exhausting.
I know it's tough to run, but I would run a no huddle all the time.
I love the hurry up.
They only ran it.
What? Once against the Eagles loan Behold they scored when they ran it against the Eagles.
Um, when the you know they were.
When they went into no huddle against the Ravens, it became very effective.
I think that they throw a lot of defense's off guard, especially when you play aggressive.
Defense is and you play that no huddle and they're trying to come to 100 miles an hour.
They start to tire out, they start to burn out.
One thing Bill Bala check dies is he always makes sure that his teams are rest.
That His teams are not rested, his teams are conditioned.
That's why they run the hills.
That's why they do all that kind of stuff.
Um, yeah, I would go.
I would go no hot all the time.
How often would you use know? Howto I go back to the old school Buffalo Bills who never huddled.
I mean, I they When did we ever see Jim Kelly and his team huddle? There were always no huddles.
They were always, you know, up Temple offense.
And I think I think that Tom Brady and this Patriots team has the experience may be away from Nick Eel Harry to be able to run an offense like that.
And Harry played in the Patriots.
No huddle against the Eagles, and he did a really, really good job at it.
That would be my whole thing.
I would play no huddle in the first.
I would slow down the second.
I would play no huddle in the third.
I would slow down the fourth, but if I was losing ours in trouble, or he needed a spark and go right back to the no huddle, that's how I would use the no huddle.
That's how I would fix things.
That would be my biggest fix.
I get back and I think you can run the ball more effectively when you do that.
How often would use will use those stacked formations with battlements anew And Watson? I love them.
Those would be my red zone.
I wouldn't run them outside of Red Zone.
I wouldn't want people getting a lot of tape on them.
Um, I love it, though, and I think that if you only used it in the red zone, you'd really be able to, um, run different options of how you move, guys you could use a settlement is the pick.
Guys to new is the pick Guy.
Watson is the pick guy you could use.
Watson answer newest the pick.
You could do double picks.
There was a lot of really cool things you could do with that stack formation.
If you run it too much, though, then your options.
You could do a lot of really cool things.
Your options are really limited to maybe five or six different formations be just because if you're going to run a pick, it has to be within one yard of the line of scrimmage.
So you're a limited to how much you can do and how you run those pick plays.
But I think if you saved it just for the red Zone and stack them there, especially those three guys, it'd be really hard to defend it there.
And I and my primary target would be so new that be my first target every time watching Number two Adam in number three.
Have your expectations increase for Harry and minor back up.
I know my expectations are still exactly the same.
Three or four catches a game, maybe 50 yards on a really good game.
Perhaps there's a 60 or 70 yard game if he really gets, you know, some momentum going, Um, I expect them to use him a lot.
Maur Ah, in the screen game.
So, um yeah, my expectations are exactly the same as they work.
They're not bad expectations.
There's lower expectations.
Right then I think we had it to begin in the year.
Ah, who do you like more ISO or Lacoste? I don't know.
I guess Ryan is oh, for now, because I haven't because Matt Lacoste is always injured.
I think low cost with Hiss size could be more effective, especially the Patriots run game.
We saw a lot more of a clot Lacoste, and we did.
It is Oh, I would love to see Lacoste, um, go out for some more catches.
He is a pretty formidable receiver.
Ah, but he's missed so much of the year.
He's almost like a ninja keel. Harry situation.
He was hurt during training camp.
He was hurt during preseason.
He got hurt for a lot of this season, and he's almost in a situation where he's still trying to build chemistry with Brady and learn the offense.
S o I have to go with Ryan is Oh, just because of that.
But, you know, really, it could be Matt Lacoste.
Do you focus on Zeke since he hasn't been himself? Or do you focus on a Mari and make dak throw? Yeah, I focus on both.
I take away a mari a takeaway.
Zeke and I dares actor throw their doctor throw the ball.
That's my That's my piece.
Don't let Zeke run all over us.
Take away a Mari and say, Doc Prescott, you beat the New England Patriots and I'm gonna get more I I need to think about that a little bit.
Maur, Um, and how they exactly they would execute that.
And as the week goes on, I will get more into it.
But that's how I would attack the Dallas Cowboys is I would take away Mari.
I would take away Zeke and I would I would challenge Dak Prescott.
And I think if you put that kind of pressure on Doc, he's gonna prove, but he's not an elite quarterback.
Rhino doesn't have any more questions, and that's great, because I fit the 50 minute mark and I wasn't taken anymore anyway, so things worked out perfect.
Thank you, Joshua.
Thank you, Rhino, for asking the questions.
Thank you to everybody who's tuning in right now and watching thank you to Everybody has been here since the start.
I appreciate you all that's really you know, it's really great.
Thank you so much, too SportsCastr who gives me the opportunity to come out here each and every day of the week.
And I talked to all of you and, you know, just let me talk to pass Nation and and have some questions and have some arguments and Ah, yeah.
Boomer and, ah, people on you to bring me so confused by some of the things that is randomly blurred out.
Uh, thank you to all the Pats Nation and all of you who come in every single night and talk to me, because without all of you, I would just be some crazy mofo screaming into a microphone, being just some tinfoil wearing, half patriots fan.
And because of you, I'm not.
And with all that being said, thank you so much for tuning in.
Take care. You're welcome.
