it was everybody's J.
Bailey, the Unwrap Sports Network here, with the power ranking shows we do every week after each week, go throw the power rankings, my personal power rankings.
Top 10 teams in the NFL right now.
And then a lot of trade's happening today.
A couple really big name guys getting moved and the one trade that I think should happen.
Uh, what? I'll let you guys know about that.
You're going to know about it in the comments on Twitter.
Forget that after the power rankings, which will start with right now. Number 10.
Gene, that wasn't on the list.
Their first appearance all season long Carolina Panthers since Kyle Island got.
And they haven't stopped winning.
Um, if Christian McCaffrey isn't your front runner for NFL N v P, then you might as well just admit that it should be called the best quarterback war because this guy's on pace to shatter the scrimmage yards record in the NFL.
The things that he's doing, he is in the conversation of the best running backs and football.
I would take him right now over Ezekiel Elliott over Todd Gurley over David Johnson, and it's a toss up if I take him over Cyclone Barkley The things that Christian McCaffrey is doing right now are unprecedented in the NFL.
They do have a game against.
I believe they play the 40 Niners this coming week.
Um, look, they're keeping pace in the NFC playoff picture because of this 45 games.
Get the street that they've been on person golfers playing the Bears.
They didn't play last week.
They're kind of staying where they are.
I have them a number nine last be coming off their lost at Oakland.
Their quarterback situation is the thing that's holding them back, and I'm gonna get into that when it comes to trades in the next segment.
But as of right now, I mean, they've got an all road defense.
They got a game where they host New Orleans this Sunday.
That's their biggest game of the year, so we'll see how that game ends up for them.
But Chase Daniel, Mr Whiskey, they don't seem to begin the job done.
That is what's holding them back.
And that's not where you want to be as an NFL team, having your quarterback be the biggest problem that you have so Bears number nine right now.
Um, you know, depending what their quarterback situation looks like going forward.
Um, that will impact the rest of their season.
Number eight, The Bills.
They stay at number eight as well.
They're playing Miami this coming week, so I expect big things from them offensively.
I want to see them step up.
You know, you look at the defense is all world.
They're definitely a top five unit in this league.
Um raved about them coming into the year.
I've raved about them almost every week.
You probably got tired of hearing me talk about how great at Oliver is or how great.
Um, and men's with safeties puller and Hyg Davis White.
I love the bills a lot, so I really like what they're doing offensively.
I said it all year.
He does need to continue getting better, but he has gotten better from last year.
So I do like the bills a lot there, sitting a number eight.
There gonna be a well carting this year in a week a f c.
But I like what they're doing.
So Bill's number eight, Number seven, the chief's Look, this is the team that I had number one for a number of weeks, and then they kind of just crash and burn the past few weeks, didn't look good and again and win against the Lions.
Did not look good at all in a home loss to the Colts and then in a game.
Or we expected them.
The bounce back.
You know, Tyree kills coming back.
He had a great game.
Demos look good, but Shawn Watson just came out and lead the team to a come from behind victory.
And now the colds around a two game losing streak.
Losing, bashing, back home games.
The defense doesn't look as good as it hasn't previous weeks.
They didn't get a sack on the Shawn Watson.
That is what is holding them back.
Most of all is the defense.
You know, the past couple weeks, it was the offense, not playing one of the defense playing well.
And then you flipped the script on.
On this week, Pat Mahomes came left Tyreek.
Hill had two touchdowns, so it's just a matter of putting all together on a consistent basis like we've been seeing over the past couple seasons.
since by bombs took over.
So if they can get everything kind of together and Joe, I'm not worried about it.
You know, each team and the NFL is gonna go on a skid. At some point.
They're not gonna be perfect throughout the season.
The Chiefs are no different.
No matter how good their quarterback in the offense is.
The defense is what's gonna be holding them back.
They kind of let that game slip away from them against Houston on Sunday.
But I got no doubt in my mind that they're still gonna be a playoff team. Everything.
Um but as of right now, they're on the skin and they need to get things back on track.
They fall four spots from last week being number three, number six and Seahawks.
I did not come down to spots from last week.
It's just the fact that defensively, they didn't look great, but they did make opportune plays in terms of turnovers, inopportune moments.
But besides that Baker, Mayfield had a decent game.
They were up 20 to 6 on the Seahawks at one point and then the Seahawks game back because Russell Wilson's doing what he does 14 touchdowns.
No interceptions on the season so far.
Um, like I said that Evens didn't look great, but they made the plays when they needed to make the place.
Russell Wilson is N v P candidate right now, so it's not the fact that you know I'm not them down to, you know, obviously they want.
It's just the way in which they won.
It was on the road against Brown's team that needed to play well and at least look good going forward.
Um, so they want the hard way they got the win.
That's all that matters, are still one of the best teams in football.
But the teams that I have ahead of them, I feel like just played better this week, and I've been over all better past couple weeks, so we'll go to that Number five.
That will be the Houston Texans who knocked up the Kansas City Chiefs.
Look, if you don't have to, Shawn wants as an M V P candidate, then you're not watching the same game I am because this guy might be the most underappreciated quarterback in football right now.
The things that he's doing going on the road coming back to beat Patrick Mahomes in Arrowhead.
With that, she's coming off a home loss already that out of this world, he did throw a couple interceptions, but he had three total touchdowns to which he ran in for John Watson's gonna give you the play that you need to win games.
He did it in college and is doing it in the NFL.
Um, and he's doing it with a solid head coach, Bill O'Brien, but a team that doesn't have a GM right now.
The defense they traded wage of Jadeveon Clowney.
If he's secondary, a good front seven but secondary.
Not all that great.
I love to Shawn Watson a lot right now.
The fact that he's getting do Johnson and Carlos Hyde more in love.
We'll fool around 14 catch game.
So DeAndre Hopkins is getting some compliments as well.
He's not being, you know, relied on as the only option in that offense.
Shot Watson using every asset that he has, and he's playing great.
He's an EVP candidate, and I love the Texas right now.
It will be the San Francisco 40 Niners moving up three spots from the seven spot last week.
They made Sean McVeigh, the boy genius and Jared Goff look pedestrian this past Sunday.
Gerry Goffin, a career low 78 yards in the Lost to San Francisco L.
A Coliseum, look like a home game for the 40 Niners instead of the Rams.
He's not doing it beautiful.
You know he's not gonna put up massive fantasy numbers for you every week, but he's doing enough where he's making the place that he needs to.
And the defense is making a lot of plays against the opposing quarterbacks that it's just coming together in a beautiful formula where the 40 Niners are sitting is one of only two undefeated teams right now.
The D Ford Addition, the train they got from the Chiefs and a trade um, Nick Bosa, DeForest Buckner.
They got Barreto from the Chargers to go along with Richard Sherman.
I said, coming into the year this team was gonna win the division that look kind of shaky, even though they want early on, having lost yet, but now it's starting to come together in that performance, holding Shawn McVeigh, the most renowned, offensive minded football right now to 78 yards passing with Jared Goff.
That is the performance that I wanted to see from the 40 Niners.
That is what I expected to see from the 40 Niners at some point this season.
We're finally starting to get that.
Like I said, Jimmy Garoppolo, he hasn't really made it pretty so far this year.
He did have that one very again against the Bangles, but other than that, he's being, um, above average game managers.
What I would like to say about Garoppolo right now, 40 Niners are playing great, though defensively and Jimmy Garoppolo is making the place that he needs to for that defense out them win games.
So the 40 Niners are Number four.
Number three, the Patriots.
I'm gonna get a lot of heat on this to say how you have the Patriots and number three.
They've beaten, and they proved my point last week where the Giants were in the game for a little bit.
Um, but the Patriots specialty just made a lot of plays.
So prostitutes, Patriot special teams, Obviously, their defense is great, but they're playing a bad Giants team who's missing literally all star talent that they have sake on Barclays that Sterling Shepherd, the number one receiver, was that emanate from the start.
Tight end was out there playing with a horrible defense, a bad secondary in a rookie quarterback.
So obviously, when you beat the Giants by north of 20 at home, that's not impressive to me.
When they're missing all of their talent, I would have kept them in the game.
And even that Daniel doesn't look God awful being a rookie going into end of Foxboro.
Um, so, yes, I get the Patriot defense is very good, but that said, I'm not gonna throw.
I'm not gonna put them a number one when they've beaten Daniel Jones, Luke Falk, Ryan Fitzpatrick a stealer seem that they always demolished.
And Colt McCoy so far the season.
That's not impressive to me.
I expect that from them.
So Patriots great win.
But the defense is obviously great.
Tom Brady didn't look good again this week, so the two teams that I have above them, I believe in more.
We'll go to that with number two being the New Orleans Saints.
They're staying in number two that their defense got the job done in Jacksonville.
Um, the fantasy stream that I did right before the games on Sunday, I said, Look, it's gonna be a low scoring game.
I expect I picked Jackson Little Wind being at home, and I thought this would be in the game that the same kind of came back down to Earth, and in some ways they did.
But the defense got the job done against Garner.
Menchu, Teddy Bridgewater don't look bad.
It's just that they didn't put up too many points.
They only put up 13 points.
But that said they did what they needed to do, as they continued to do since Teddy Bridgewater took over for the injured Drew Brees.
They haven't lost yet with Teddy.
He's done everything that he's needed to do.
He's exceeded all expectations.
Um, but the offense, like I said, it didn't look dominant, but they made the place that they needed to make.
The defense held the Jaguars only six points.
So the Saints, they might be the most complete team in football right now.
They might have the best roster and football right now, and I like what I'm seeing a lot from them.
What Drew Brees comes back, there's gonna be a force to be reckoned with.
People with Teddy Bridgewater.
Teddy Bridgewater's air started in this league.
They're forced to be recognized.
So props to the Saints.
Because the job done, they're in control of weak division right now.
And number one, they were number one last week.
The number one this week is the Green Bay Packers.
Get another good team, and I get that.
I'm not gonna argue the fact that there was a God awful, handsome face calling trade flowers.
If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I've been raising hell about it.
But that said, playing without Davante Adams clearly without receivers like an apparently cash Aaron Rodgers frustration on his face showed all night they kind of started to spell Aaron Jones with Jamal Williams.
Last night was kind of surprised me.
Um, but if they're trying to get more guys involvement, so be it.
Especially without your number one receiver.
Ah, really Not reliable, tight and anymore on Jimmy Graham, they're thrown.
Um, about a scaling Got hurt throughout the game.
Geronimo Allison didn't look all that great.
He Maybe he did make a few plays, but never seen.
Court was depleted last night, but that defense came through. Za'darius Smith had a sack.
I saw, um, the defense really made the place, and they needed to is a good Detroit Lions team who probably should have one last night.
But that said, the Packers did what they needed to do to win.
So Aaron Rodgers looking like the Aaron Rodgers a vote, and I love what I'm seeing from him.
So the Packers are never one.
So to recap, the complete list of power rankings Number 10 is the Panthers.
Number nine is the Bears.
Number eight is the Bills.
Number seven Excuse me is the chief's number.
The Seahawks number five.
The Texans number four.
The 40 Niners number three.
The Patriots number two, the Saints and number one the Packers.
So you can let me know you think about that.
If I left out anything that should be in the top, sent on the comments.
Are you ending up on Twitter? Jared Underscore Bailey four.
With your top down or anything that I left out, a lot of trade's happening today.
Um, Jalen Ramsey shipped off to Los Angeles for a couple of first rounders and 1/4 rounder for from the Jaguar to the Jaguars.
So big move there for the Jaguars.
Getting a lot of draft capital back For a guy who just really didn't want to be there anymore, we expected this to happen.
I did not expect the Rams to be where Jalen Ramsey landed.
I expected it to be Philadelphia who didn't make any moves for corners because you saw another cornerback moved out of Los Angeles.
That was Marcus Peters was, like, kind of a shell of himself this season, with very few pops.
He's shipped off to Baltimore.
Um, so they get rid of Peter.
Is the upgrade big time with Jalen Ramsey in Los Angeles, which is something that they desperately needed for a secondary That's a pedestrian and very inconsistent this year.
So with the key to leave about, they get rid of Marcus Peters.
They bring in an all road guy in Jalen Ramsey.
Good power move by the Rams, um, to get Jalen Ramsey and their marks Peters out there, we'll see about this.
Does for the Ravens.
Maybe this is just something that Marcus Peters needed was a fresh start, and now we got Earl Thomas and Marcus Peters in the same secondary.
So that would be interesting to see for the Baltimore Ravens going forward to upgrade their defense, which has looked and not so great in the past three weeks or so.
But there's one trade that I think should happen, and both teams involved would come out on top.
So I said coming into the year that Cam Newton, this would be his final year.
Um, with the Carolina Panthers and what do you know? Bleacher report reporting that Cam Newton may not get his job back and many other media Alice Sporting that he could be traded.
And when you look at the list of teams tweeted out earlier, I think I said the Titans, the Steelers, maybe, but there's one.
I mean, you know, you look at both those situations.
I mean, both make sense.
Both teams have really good defense is both teams.
They're dealing with inadequate quarterback play.
Brian Sandoval, Marcus Mariota in Tennessee, and then Mason would often Devlin Hodges trying to do do it they can and reserve the injured Ben Roethlisberger for the year.
But there's one team that just makes too much sense.
Mary now, And that's the Chicago Bears.
They got the best defense in the NFL, the best defensive player in the NFL, and Khalil Mack Fuller, one of the best quarterbacks in football.
Just a solid defense all around.
They cannot waste the prime years of this defense when they're at their peak with horrible quarterback Chase.
Daniel hasn't been in the job done since the Minnesota game.
Look bad against Oakland.
Even in the Minnesota game.
Didn't look all that great, and Mitchell Robiskie has taken a significant step down.
Their offense has look pedestrian.
I was bringing up three points in Week one.
It was only putting up 16.
They need more from that offensive unit.
Cam Newton is a big upgrade from Mitchell's Robiskie or Chase Daniel.
I've never been a proponent of Cam being one of the top 10 quarterbacks in football, but he's one of the top 10 athletes in football.
Man 65 to 50 and runs like a deer.
He will make place for that office.
There's no doubt about that.
And if the Bears get Cam Newton, they go from here to here in terms of Super Bowl contenders, because Mr Dubinsky at this point is a 20 game manager who makes too many mistakes.
Doesn't throw the ball down the field enough to make enough place Chase Daniel.
He's a solid backup, but he's not your launch romance. You're going forward.
If true, business.
Excuse me, Strabinsky.
If this injury, said Stravinsky, back Travis, he's expected back.
Well, it will be soon.
But when you're in division with the Vikings, who are now starting to win more, the Lions were still very good, even at 2 to 11 the Packers, who were running away with the Division.
Right now, there's not a team below 500 in that division.
You gotta keep pace, and in a very deep NFC, you got to keep pace.
And the Panthers is good for the Panthers, too, because they haven't lost with Kyle Allen.
They're not going anywhere with Cam Newton.
I think that air is done.
I think that experiments done and if Kyle Island isn't your answer, long term going forward and you realize that he is your auntie, the draft, another guy to develop.
But you're not winning suitable.
You've got peak, Cam and Caroline.
You've seen Cam Newton peeking.
Caroline, is that the pier? Where you want to do that was as good as it's gonna get.
That was your opportunity and you didn't win it.
And ever since then, he's just gradually declined in Caroline.
But with an all round defence, solid weapons and Taylor, Gabriel and Alan Robson and Trade Burton David Montgomery, I think that that's a move that the Bears should think about making.
And I think that if they offer, say, I think I wrote down what they should offer.
I tweeted out with this.
I think I said to re Komen, a second rounder and 1/5 rounder for Cam Newton.
If you have any other skill position, guys, their own mind if they want to give up even Taylor Gabriel, a defensive guy death, the defensive guy.
If you got any names, you can throw him in the comments right now, but some sort of offensive weapon for the Panthers to give Kyle Island and Christian McCaffrey.
Chris Samuel did have a great game early on this season.
I think was actually last week.
Where do you go? Sammy went off But if they got a guy, they're not gonna trade Alan Robinson that that's their guy in terms of receiver.
But maybe it's having Gabriel.
They ordered off him to Carolina, somebody on defense, maybe in the secondary.
That secondary hasn't been the same since Josh Norman left.
So ah, player at a position that the Panthers need a two and a five for camp.
Who says no hears us now? Because you got Pete Campbell.
Caroline, you have seen his beak and Caroline, you've got a guy in Kyle Allen who the team is clearly revolving around and keeps winning.
Why hold on the can? He's not that expensive, is not making a ton of money.
Ship off Cam and Mitchell Drabinsky.
You can either let him sit.
But if they got Cam Newton, I mean, the way I see it, what games, What 30 Now you probably got a solid 3 to 4 years of solid Cam Newton left.
So you sit on this force all the years of Cam Newton and your three or four you draft another guy just said a year and then ship off camp.
But right now, if you get candid and you ship off metric Robiskie somewhere where a team would need a solid quarterback right now.
And you go on with Cam Newton because you got to be in wind now. Motive.
You're the Bears.
You cannot waste these years of that elite defense.
You can't do it.
It's something that I don't think either team would say no to.
It would benefit both teams.
You know, if you're the Panthers, you get a couple of draft picks in return and a solid player at a position that you you know, for the bandages.
You kind of pick and choose and negotiate with the Bears.
And if you're the Bears, you get a big upgrade, a quarterback, which is exactly what you need right now.
That's the only thing they need right now.
To be among the Super Bowl favorites is a solid quarterback, and that's the one thing they don't have.
They got below average quarterback play, and that's why they're not really talked about Excuse me as legitimate real contenders they're gonna be and the conversation of playoff teams legit, suitable contenders, their quarterback away and Cam Newton, who put them in that conversation.
No teams has noted this And it's something something that should get done before the trade deadline.
So let me know what you think about my top 10 power rankings.
The trade time idea.
You can let me know on Twitter at Jerry Under score, Bailey four.
