Good morning, New Orleans Saints fans.
How are we doing to date? It's a day is game day, baby.
Here we go here.
My name is Michael Belco reporting with You guys Live from Erie P. A.
With your New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars pregame report.
Watching this, uh, London game a little bit as I do it.
You know, paint There is just romping on the Buccaneers right now.
Not really good for us Saints fans, but you know so.
We have a little bit of insights for you guys.
Obviously, the Saints are in Jacksonville today in Duval, and they will be playing against Minshew mania and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Now the Saints have won their last three games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, gaining at least 500 yards of offense in each game.
They're the first team to have 500 plus yards of offense in three straight games against an opponent.
Since the Rams did, so does the Packers.
From 1956 to 1957 the Saints have won eight straight games against A F C opponents, the second longest such win streak in franchise history.
Behind a 13 game Street from 1987 to 90 and you guys all know Drew Brees gonna be inactive for today's game.
But that's okay because Teddy Bridgewater's three you know it was a starter this year, completing at least 70% of his passes in each start.
He's the first quarterback in states history to win his 1st 3 starts of the season while completing at least 70% of his passes in each one.
Now the JAG wires themselves have not been terrible on offense.
These past couple games, they haven't had at least 450 yards of offense each of their last two games.
Third for the third time in franchise history.
They have done that in back to back games.
They have never done so in three straight games.
Gardner mentioned the second has 1004 passing yards and no interceptions, and his four career starts.
Today, he joins Dak Prescott, has the only quarterbacks in NFL history to throw for at least 1000 yards with no picks over their 1st 4 career starts, and the former L S U Tiger Leonard.
Fournette leads the NFL with 389 rushing yards after half time this year. The Saints.
Alvin Kamara ranks sixth with 256 yards after the half.
Now, with that being said, let's go over some and actives first, let's do an active and then we'll do starting lineups.
Top that off with keys to victory for you guys.
All right, so inactives forth the Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver CJ Board Beard board.
However you say that, Yeah, how to read my own handwriting? Obviously, cornerback Jalen Ramsey is enacted for today.
It looked like he was gonna be a go a week late scratch today, so he would not be playing today, which is huge for us.
Running back Tyler Ervin.
He's the backup to Leonard for net, so it's nice to see you're not on the field.
Linebacker Austin Collie TRO Um often Suleiman, Brandon Thomas tight and Josh Oliver and defensive tackle Dante V.
No for your New Orleans Saints.
Corner Kim Crawley.
Guard slash center Nick Eastern Offense of alignment. Ethan Greenidge.
Want Hampton defense event.
Trey Hendrickson and wide receiver Trey Kwan.
Smith hits the injury as it's the inactive list again after being healthy last week, so that's obviously a bummer.
Guys like Austin Car got to step up again today.
Well, being more into that later, um, now I'm gonna do starting lineups for you guys.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, which is the home team today.
Quarterback Gardner Men.
Shoe running back Leonard for that wide receivers I'm gonna list.
Therefore, main guys Dede Westbrook and D J Charter the two starters, but they also have marquee sleep and Chris Conley all have great games at some point in their season so far.
Tight ends for them.
Jeffs, Wayman, James O'Shaughnessy, left tackle.
Cam Robinson, left guard injured Norwell center.
Brandon Lender, right guard A J can and right tackle Jolan Taylor moving on to the defense's side of the ball.
They run a 43 defense, just like we do here it is.
Defense of ends for the Jacksonville Jaguars are unique in Doc Way and Kill A is Campbell, the two D tackles, or Avery Jones and Marcel Darius, the linebackers for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Quincy Williams, Myles Jack and Leon Jacobs.
Action with the high school for a year with Myles.
Jack became pretty good friends with him So it's gonna be interesting to see him get pummeled on by the Saints today.
Sorry, brother, but I got to do it, You know, um, at corners.
Obviously with Jalen Ramsey being enacted, D J.
Hayden will step up and take his spot, and then the other corner is a J boy Free safety.
Today, Jared Wilson and strong Safety is Ronnie Harrison, special teams unit for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Kicker Josh Lambo, punter Logan Cook and return specialist Dede Westbrook.
Okay, moving on to your New Orleans Saints drum roll, please.
Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, Running back Alvin Kamara.
He is healthy today, but he is a little bit banged up coming off an ankle injury.
He was ruled questionable, but he's gonna play.
Um, he's not on the inactive list, so he will play. He will start.
But don't be surprised if Octavius Mary it's amore increased workload today.
Um, anyways, wide receiver Michael Thomas, wide receiver, Tech again with us on our other guys are, you know, Austin car.
Well, Jordan Humphrey skies like that they have to step up today are tight ends Jared Cook and Josh Hill, left tackle Theron Armstead, left guard.
Pete center Eric McCoy, right guard Larry Warford and right tackle Ryan Ram.
Check moving on to the defense's side of the ball.
Our strong suit so far this season.
Marcus Davenport, defensive tackle.
Malcolm Brown, defensive tackle showed in Rankin's and David on Yamada.
Linebacker Kiko Alonzo, linebacker DeMario Davis and linebacker A.
Klein moving on to the secondary.
Cornerback Marshawn Lattimore, cornerback Eli Apple and P. J.
Like our nickel slot kind of guy at free safety Marcus Williams.
A strong safety von Bell.
Chauncey Gardner Johnson lost to go a little bit of playing time out there, so look out for him.
Bring him as, like, extra, you know, secondary guy or whatever.
Um, special teams unit.
Kick your will, Lutz punter Thomas Moorer said.
And return specialist Deante Harris.
Oh, being said Keys to victory slash.
What? Not All right.
Um, sort of the keys to victory.
The biggest key to victory for the New Orleans Saints today, you're going to be shutting down that insane past rush that they have and locking up their four outstanding receivers.
Um, you know, we've struggled offensive line wise, not necessarily with the blocking this season.
We've done it, your job blocking, you know, But like a CE faras penalties dough and holding whenever we have.
Wherever we're going against more talented opponent, we tend toe held on, you know, a whole lot more and draw penalties.
We just can't afford to do that today, especially with the explosiveness of the JAG wires offense.
You know, they're not the best offense, but they are explosive.
They can put up a lot of points if you let him, so let's not make it any easier on them.
It's gotta cut down with the holding penalties.
Um, you got to score points, you know, do our thing.
Teddy Bridgewater made great strides last week.
Four touchdowns? Um, I think he threw for, like, 350 yards, something like that.
He had a great game, guys, Great game.
That was a Drew Brees kind of game right there.
So if you can have another game like that, not even a game like that.
But even a game similar to that, we'll be fine.
Um, and the other key to victory, like I said, is shutting down the jag wires fabulous.
Four receivers out there, you know? Chris Conley, Marquis STLEDE Dede Westbrook Deejay chart.
We gotta shut those guys down.
Guys like you have some.
They just play makers out there.
I know everyone's, especially on my instagram.
They were giving me a lot of hate.
Every, like, all, Are you going to say the Jaguars have better receivers in the Saints and they do.
Right now, they have more healthy receivers that are better.
You know, Obviously, Mike Thomas is the best receiver, one of the best receivers in the NFL, if not the best.
I think it's the best receiver in the NFL.
Could be biased, but not really anyways.
But they have four very good receivers, you know, for very good receivers.
And one of them is a top five receiver in the NFL this year due to a shark.
You know Dede Westbrook has been a top 15 receiver in the N F O.
You know, we already know what the capabilities Marqise Lee has, and then Chris Conley had a big breakout game like the second game of the season or something.
They have some playmate here is out there, guys, We just got to be aware and we got a We bring our a game and we can't let these guys stomp all over us where they will, you know? And I think Gardner men shoe at the quarterback position just brings them an extra level.
First of all, second of all elusiveness and playmaking ability that Nick Foles just doesn't, you know, or that Blake Bortles ville to give them in years past.
My guess is this is a feisty Jaguars team.
Guys like they're just not gonna lay down for us, so we gotta bring the energy, you know? Do I think they're gonna win? Absolutely not.
I don't think there's any chance they win, but I can't get cocky, though, you know, because telling you guys Jaguar just like my mother's favorite teams late.
I know they're they're feisty team, and they're in a not very strong A f C South.
So, you know, competition levels high.
They're playing for a lot right now.
Right now, our division kind of competitive to between us and the cancer's, believe it or not.
So, yeah, those were the biggest keys to victory.
Um, three guys start on each team, I guess, for fantasy on the same side.
I put a waiver out there for low T.
V is Murray Alan Camaras, and I don't think he's gonna play as much today due to his ankle injury he suffered throughout the week.
He's been nursing it up a little bit, so even if he, you know he's gonna play, but maybe not as well.
And I think Octavius Murray has got to get a lot more, um, attention today.
Gonna get a lot more.
Carrie's got more offensive snaps who maybe give away or a waiver wire out on him if you really need a running back.
Um, I also go ahead if you have Mike Thomas obviously start my Thomas.
But if you don't have one of those top to your guys, maybe get up your waiver wire real quick and try and pick up Ted Ginn.
I think he's going to do very well against the backup corner and D. J.
Hayden's played the past like three weeks or whatever, but just, you know, he's not that good.
He's okay, but he's not that good.
I think again is going to burn some guy's deep today.
Well, he finally found the end zone in last week's game, so I think he's going to start, you know, getting a lot more catches and targets here.
As the season continues, Uhm and then I guess, the third guy to start take a waiver out on Jared Cook today.
The JAG wires linebacking depth this season is not as it usually is, so I think Jared cookies don't have a breakout game.
He played a lot better last week.
Still not quite where I wanted him to be, as Faras are.
You know where I would like him to be as far as the guy who we expected to sign free agency, But he had to take a great stride against Tampa Bay last week.
I think that same energy is gonna carry over into this week.
I think he's gonna have a great game today.
So I would I would start Jared cook for the jag wires.
Um, don't start anybody for killing him.
Don't start anybody.
Yeah, now, if you really I mean, I would start guarding your men.
Maybe if you don't have a really good quarterback.
Men, shoes, play making abilities I'm sure he's going to get a few plays on us.
I'd probably take a waiver out on I'm starting deejay chart today.
I don't really have any other option but to So I am also started.
Deejay shark don't necessarily want to, But I don't really have a choice in my league.
Very competitive deejay Target is for me, but, you know, maybe take a gamble on a dialect, Conley.
Something like that, but yeah.
So a little recap for you guys.
Keys to victory.
No holding penalties are very few holding penalties on our old line today.
So we could get the ball down the field and stop gating are very place that we'd be getting, um, and locked down their outstanding receiving corps.
As far as what we need to do.
We need to limit the pressure getting into the backfield without holding so that teddy does not get hit And what not? And so that we could move the boat on the field, score points, etcetera.
And we're going to set the tone early, maybe get a bit. Turn over.
You know, maybe we get a gardener mentions first career interception today.
Aren't even has been lighted up lately.
We need to keep that same energy.
It that continued.
Anyways, Those saints we play in 42 minutes and forties, Five seconds.
So I will see you guys tomorrow.
Those saints, baby.
