What's up, everyone? I'm Kabeer Champ sports here starting a new broadcast, and today I am reacting to a YouTube video by Austin sweat titled Eight NBA players.
It's officially time to give up on.
So basically, how I'm gonna be reacting to this is I have my tablet right here.
Usually I stream for my tablet when I do like when I want to share my screen, and then I do.
And then I share my computer device and use multi him to do that.
However, it's not working.
This can't scream from you.
It's not working anymore.
So I just found a different way to do it.
Um, yeah, it is December.
So it's the third of December.
I did my I did a OMG about Kemba.
Walker's stem selling infection has left me.
Um, I'm just going to First off, I'm going to check if my mike is working because I had some problems with that in my last Austrian Mhm.
I think I'm good.
Eso Let's just continue its eight MBA players.
It's officially time to give up on video by Austin's What I did have reacted to one of his videos before.
Um, like when I was not home.
It was like a trade.
Like trade ideas for each team you choose.
I assume it was, like, 40 50 days ago.
You know, it does not feel like that long ago.
But today, this is also what I'm gonna be doing because I am doing Saturday Big stream tough.
50 players in the N B A.
Just going into next season, December 2020 edition.
My top 50 players in the in the National Basketball Association.
I'm gonna be sharing those my opinions, um, for my air.
But we'll get to that on Saturday.
Honestly, uh, mhm.
You know, let's just get into this.
Let's just get into this.
It is I'll just open this thing up, so yeah.
Video by Austin Sweat.
I hope you can. Okay, wait.
So, eight, eh? NBA players, it's time to give up on 2020.
Even if you might not be able to see it Clearly, I hope you can I just tell this down a bit.
So you see me in the video? Um, I'm basically reacting with you.
I actually have not listened to this, um, video before.
I watched almost all of it is like it does every week.
It's great n b a basketball content.
However, this time I just decided to react with on SportsCastr.
So I'm basically just looking at, um, basically just looking it through the broadcast and you'll just be looking at here.
Oh my God, there's a ton of players in the NBA.
At one point or another, I had a lot of hype.
I'm gonna prove to everybody.
And year after year, they failed to do that.
And by this point, it looks like it's time to give up on these players.
We can only give them so many passes and so many opportunities before you finally do give up on them not completely as players, but on the fact that they'll be able to live up to the hype that they once had. Yeah, sure.
So, yeah, there's somebody cases that we you know, the term for sports is bust for this.
Um and yeah, bust is such a weird word like you want to consider them bust.
They did not live up to the hype, but are they really bust like they like Kwamie Brown? Anthony better their bus because they haven't done much.
Got look, a guy like uh like that has done good in his career, solid in his career.
Just not living up to the hype like maybe one.
The ones hat was Andrew Wiggins.
That's one guy that I think of when I think of that, that's one guy that I think of, Um, but let's see what he thinks about this eight NBA players that I have a feeling he'll put Wiggins on here.
Um, just because I feel like we've said it for years now, but let's just take a look.
Um, because there's so many I mean, there's But then he did this last year, I'm pretty sure, but this is 2028 different.
And for these eight players, I think we're at that point, of course, is a quick, honorable mention here and an example, Which is Andrew.
Yeah, it's quick because we all know what we've been saying it for years, still a solid player, but we know we can pretty much on 100% give up on him every living up to the hype.
Yeah, for Wiggins.
I'm basically going to say that I think he's a solid player, um, he's averaged 20 points a game, but he was compared to like, LeBron t Mac stuff.
I just don't I don't think he hasn't read an All Star team.
Yeah, he's, like, 25 which he's still pretty young, but he was like a number one overall pick.
And he's supposed to be dominating All Star all MBA.
Um, his athleticism.
He has an inconsistent jumper, doesn't try on defense.
His athleticism is still off the charts.
Um, but you know, he has to.
He hasn't we? I think we really look at his athleticism put, put it too much into a value with his high school mixed David's stuff because I don't know if he was, he could score the ball.
He could, because he's still a good MBA player.
I don't get me wrong about that, but it's just not the number one overall pick, and I he's gonna probably say something along those lines, too.
Been playing like a number one overall pick because it's just not gonna happen at this point, and we can't even blame the wolves anymore.
Maybe that was an excuse before, but after playing nearly alone on the Warriors without any other stars and nothing about his game changed and he couldn't lead them the winds either.
It's officially time to get well, if he was alone, if he was alone, like on the team, then I doubt they'd be leading them the winds.
I'm just being honest.
But now under the realist with number one, which is Marquel folk.
Okay, so I didn't see this one.
Um, Mark Al, I have faith in Marquel false because I don't he might.
He was compared to, like James Harden and stuff like he was compared to James Harden, who, as we know it, is one of the best players in the N B A one of the best scores and three times three times scoring champion.
We know how good he is.
Uh, and but Mark has dealt with some shoulder injuries, but he's a good year.
This year he had a pretty good year.
He has, like, 12 points.
Good, solid, pastor.
He was a good I think he will be the future point out for the magic.
I think it's gonna be a good option for that.
I still have faith that I don't think it would be a superstar like James Harden.
But I still have faith will be an All Star, so I don't fully give up on this kid.
I just don't. I do.
I do believe in them.
I think he'll be really solid.
I think I'll have a long career.
I think he has a I think he'll be good.
This three point shooting is not great.
Not at the level of James Harden.
I mean, he was supposed to be the offensive weapon three point shooter, athletic.
It's just not there.
He doesn't have that three point shot.
His defense is still like Like you might even be a But I think he's a better defender than Harden even.
Actually, that's kind of debatable.
Not elite defensively, but as you can facilitate as well he can.
Hey, has an offensive tool.
I think he can, really.
I don't see him being, but I think it could be a near All Star very soon.
I do have faith in this case, you know, maybe I'm jumping ahead here.
It's still only more kills 30 years.
He's had problems and he's been inconsistent.
I can get that, but I just don't really want to put them on this list.
I just don't really want to.
I just don't cause I don't give up on him, I think you'll be real solid.
I just don't give up on him.
Um uh Oh, by the way, thank you.
Black, orange and blonde for doing the broadcast.
Much appreciate it.
I just don't give up on him just yet because I really do have the faith in Mark out, folks to keep going and he'll have a good career.
I I have a good feeling about that.
But at least from what I've seen, I think it's definitely time we give up unfolds.
Ever live up to the hype of being a former first overall pick? I think Jason Tatum was the best player in that draft, not just the Celtics fan, but I think we can all agree on that This point.
I don't think he's ever gonna play like one, so we have to consider him a bus C bus is he's going to be a contributor.
Andrea Bargnani was a good player, 20 point score and a contributor, not the first overall pick.
Maybe if he's a contributor, a near all star.
I don't consider that bus material.
I do consider him maybe over hyping him a bit.
But I don't consider him bust material.
Don't get me wrong.
His first year in Orlando was solid.
He was playing a full season of his three point shooters.
Improved, But I don't know.
I can't see him having just average 12 and five and then one day, just develop back into the star. Here's book.
I knew what to expect him to develop.
Don't get me wrong, Just not maybe at the start.
I do believe this kind of thing.
I just wouldn't consider him a bust yet.
He's still a terrible three point shooter, and he's not that bad, is about his career has just been sad, disappointing.
I'm not saying he's just a terrible player or he won't have a good career because I think he will.
He's gonna be in the league for a long time, whether that's has a role player or maybe even a near All Star just saying he's never gonna be a great first overall pick, that's fair.
That's fair now.
Speaking of young players not living up to the hype number to Islam maker.
Oh! Oh, my God Thon maker Did.
Someone said this guy was a Ah league M v p This Someone said this guy was a league M v p.
And give me one sec.
Um My God, this guy was a foreword.
10 overall pick.
He was literally going to play like he was playing.
He had the handles, He's size blocking shots.
He was everything.
Then you will be great for during the broadcast.
Um, he was everything, but I mean, he just he really, like, even he's got an opportunities, But like the fact that this guy was called a future M v p and now has pretty good solid career averages like five points and three rebounds.
Former 10th overall pick, um, had a lot of hype.
Thank you for the new.
Followed, by the way. Much appreciated.
Um, is this is just sad to see this is I don't know.
I don't get how I just don't get how this happened.
I don't get how this guy was going to be the next big thing because he just really did not pan out whatsoever.
So The man had a viral mixtape for playing like a 7 ft guard.
The guy that was supposed to come in and change the way the game was played, the one that Kevin Garnett said was a future Kevin Garden.
Come on, you are a top 28 power forward.
Top five power for of all time, a top 20.
He probably he was.
I think I did my all time list like a couple months ago.
He was like number.
He was number like 20 on my list, but let's just say top 30 player of all time A champion or M V.
P saying this guy would be an M V P.
He has the bones.
Oh, my God, it's time to give up on all of that because we're full.
Oh, yeah, for sure.
I don't even I think it'll be.
Maybe I don't even think I would be like a like a good role player.
I mean, he actually could, but not at all.
Not even All Star.
My MBA communities averaged a pretty consistent four points in two rebounds a year.
He had Katie saying he was gonna be an M v P and got drafted to hint overall straight out of high school and has been for gotten about ever since.
I'm sure he also forgot this is Draftkings the last million Dollar opportunity way making millionaires all year.
Don't sleep on your shot for seven figures.

Get a chance to play it either point guard of shooting guard to see if you could.
He could be a stretch big.
He could be a stretch big like a Myles Turner.
Or like maybe even Bowl Bowl.
Just but not point.
Are shooting guard really play that position? Less basketball? But up until now he's on.
Lee played center, which which probably wasn't easy for him.
But still, it's like I think people were expecting him to be the type of player that Bowl Bowl is today because he's actually a foot player.
That complaint E though some may say it's too early to give up on a player that's only supposedly 22.
So those bankers an M V P, or even just in All Star, it just isn't happening number three toe by his hair.
I think I think if this is a kind of confusing in a way.
But I just do think that he's not gonna live up to the contract he got.
So I'll just say that.
So I'm giving up on my hopes that Tobias Harris will ever be an All Star in his career.
Yeah, I do think he'll be like a borderline close, like a good, maybe 18 point game score, but I just don't think he'll be like a He's already 28 right? So I don't think he would be like a All Star contract.
He he got paid like a big amount.
I don't think he would be that.
He really didn't think he was headed towards becoming one.
Yeah, Clippers, Clippers 20 Yeah, he was good in L.
A Helps lead a very surprising season that ended up with 48.
Oh my God, she wore Todd.
When's the last time he played E 28 e? I know this isn't related, but I just thought Marcin Gortat and just congrats on the retirement.
Uh, we had a great career and he was an all MBA player, by the way.
So he had a great career and a champion.
Andrew Magee, percent from three.
Weakest treated the 70 Sixers, and apparently they thought he was gonna be paid him.
Jimmy and JJ paid him over.
Jimmy and JJ regret Max.
Five years, $180 million.
Ever since then, he's Plateau.
He's continue to put up the same night.
Yeah, that was probably Phillies worst nightmare in that situation.
So it doesn't help that he's had to play on Philly.
But even with E like him in that powerful position matter and he struggled was I saw every single game of the Celtics 76 or Siri's.
He was not good except the game he got, like, kind of injured.
He was playing really well.
But then he got injured in the news like out for a bit, and then came back.
That was the only time, but like he's trouble, he wasn't good.
But he's not gonna be anywhere near the star that is 76 years predicted he'd become number four.
Frank Nitti, Kina and Kevin knock.
Yeah, I has never been a huge fan of Frankie smoked.
I like Kevin knocks a lot.
I'm kind of given up on that, too.
Just being honest.
Yeah, I'm giving up on that, too.
Yeah, two of the next young players.
And of course, it's the Knicks, whose top 10 draft picks don't turn out as expected.
Maquina and knocks.
Yeah, I think one guy that could be on here, Dennis Smith Jr.
He's been really.
And in Frank's draft report, he was said to be the best international player.
Oh, ever heard of Lucca? Come on! ****! And he was in the n b.
Looking down, she's just drafted after Frankie smokes, right? Right, Think right, I I think I think so.
Or maybe in the same broadcast.
Well, frankly, both of them are, frankly, not been good player since entering the league.
Sure, people will say Netiquette is a good defender, but yes, six points a game.
Three years, he's stop it.
He has to improve his offense, for sure knocks.
He's a good role.
I think it be a good role playing a good offensive plays guys weren't even worth including.
But I just feel like there was a I think I think it's fair, including these guys that were mentioned.
It looks like those people were wrong about these two.
Number five Lonzo ball.
I'm Ah Greer dis.
I'm agree and disagree on this.
More leading towards Disagreed, though, by the way, Leo Angelo Ball is a couple of our ball, his ball, his ball brothers, but not profits.
His three center in the NBA, that's that's deserves a round of applause for me.
But still, I think Alonso will be good.
I dio he's had some good, he's he can do it all.
He's a he's, he has good size.
He's good facilitator.
Good defender is improving his three point shot.
He's got a more consistent there.
Uh, so I dio I do think he'll be a good point guard franchise point guard, maybe to build around just I may be being like a guy that sets up other people because I don't think because honestly, I wouldn't consider him kind of like Marquel.
I don't know if he'll live up to the hype, but what I do think he'll be a good and solid NBA player, so I'm kind of disagree with this one.
I don't know what it is, but every time I mentioned that, Alonso might not be as good as people expected, that people always take aside and say, I don't know what I'm talking about.
I can under I can Honestly, I can kind of understand that I can.
I can understand where those people are coming from.
I can I can understand um, fully yeah, I can understand thank you and a Knick fan for during the broadcast.
I can understand that, but alright, it's his third year in the league, and he's consistently average 10, 7 and six.
That's good numbers.
Listen 10 points for a second overall pick.
Not great, Not great.
But those are good numbers.
Those are good numbers.
That's almost 11 points, seven rebounds, six assists.
All around game.
I plus his defense.
I think he'll be. That's good.
He's been playing good, not the hype, but he's been playing good year, and this was his here to change that on the pelicans, but it didn't happen again.
You'd better this year than any years. Korea.
I wasn't expecting.
I was not expecting Lonzo to be a superstar.
I was not, um, I I was not expecting this guy to be a superstar.
I knew he would be a quality in B A.
I I I had a feeling he'd be a good player and a good all around player.
I just didn't he? He'd be the offensive killer that people might have thought he would be.
So, honestly, all of his numbers that he's put up does not surprise me at all.
It just doesn't.
I'm not disappointed in him or anything.
It just doesn't surprise me, and I feel like he doesn't deserve mention here.
Don't get me wrong.
He's a completely different player than he wasn't the work.
He is a lot more confidence, and hopefully he keeps shooting the ball as well as he did this past season, which I think he will.
I'm not crapping on any of these guys, and it's fine if he just continues to be the player.
He has been up until now because everything could use a player like that that can facilitate and defend as well as he can.
But We just may need to give up on the fact that he's ever gonna be a superstar, that he's e.
Listen, people thought that.
But for me, I never thought that I had.
I had no intention Alonso would be a superstar if he did.
Like, I have more faith in Lemelle Oh, right now than I have back then.
With Alonso, I'll play with the aggressiveness.
Could be the same story, though I don't know.
And college well, he will never live up to the hype that his dad put on him, but he may never live up to the hype as being a second overall pick.
But, hey, if he doesn't at least mark out, Hold still takes the spot in the biggest bus of the 2017.
Uh, not neither of them.
What, if I told you, is neither of them with Josh Jackson 2017 drive? Because I know he was a top five pick.
What has he done? It's not It's not. It's not Lonzo.
Josh Doctson Number six Gordon Hayward.
I don't think Ah yeah, he just did all star back to his you today.
I really don't see it.
Let's just pause right here.
He out that out of his $30 million player option that already made him way too over.
Paid only for Michael Jordan.
Give him a contract where he gets $30 million Mawr every year for the next four years.
And I had a plan for this video even before you got that new contract which says that much more about how terrible designing waas.
I mean, come on.
How horrible King Jordan be as a GM The O e.
Um, so yeah, basically, I kind of like, just like causing right here for Gordon Hayward.
Um, I understand it.
I I just don't think he'll be the All Star he once waas um and I don't think he'll worth the money, So I kind of liked emotion.
Tobias Harris, I I agree with that 100%.
Can we turn up the volume and face it back to you guys? Get out of all the Hornets bad deals and he goes to create another 11 of the worst contracts in the league.
So, originally I was going to say that I think we could give up on Gordon Hayward being the all star player.
He was on the Jazz or getting any better from here on out.
But now I'm keeping that also saying that we can already before he even played a game, give up on the fact that I'll ever live up to this contract for seven.
Parker is an injury riddled, but I kind of understand this.
He was actually pretty good when he was in the box.
He was actually pretty good.
But I do think I'll be a role player.
Could be good offensive role player.
He's defense's actually really bad.
He's not a good different, but I think I'll be a good role player.
Just maybe not the second overall pick.
Yeah, he was compared to Paul Pierce.
So definitely not Paul Pierce, definitely not their second overall pick that it's time to give up on have given them passes in the past to get his.
He either had injuries, a bad times e had teams and nothing's changed.
That's still the case, but after six whole years of this happening, we gotta stop letting it slide.
By now, he should have chose to sign with the right team or but he's a pretty good player that I don't get me wrong.
He's a pretty good player.
So I want to consider him a fully bus.
I wouldn't just turn into stars.
I mean, there's the second player picked.
They're supposed to be the second best player that year, but instead, E guess, right.
Just depends on team fit.
Like who's the best for your team.
So, um, yeah, he just Jabbar is not even close.
Hey, he is only 25 but still, I'm not getting my hopes for his future anymore.
Nothing against him but myself.
And all of us have been waiting a long time to see something come from him, and it hasn't happened.
So I've just given up hope Been.
Finally, for number eight, we have Aaron Gordon.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree.
He was He's, uh when the first thing you think of arugula and you think of a freak athlete, right? But here's the thing.
He does not use his.
What do you want? That don't.
When he was done with it, man, you got robbed back in 2016 again.
Actually, I actually don't think it got robbed in that one.
I got robbed in this one previous previous one.
Uh, I had a feeling he be really good in the future, like a really good player in 2017 was pretty good.
I'm pretty sure you had a good year, but he's kind of regressed.
He shoots way too many perimeter jumpers.
He's not a perimeter player.
He doesn't use his athleticism the way he Sure, he he's a good defenders.
Which of the defender and but on offense has so many flaws, just can't really is very inefficient from three, UM is very inefficient from three, and he just doesn't use athletic.
He puts up some crazy dunks, but, like that's the highlights.
If you watch the rial games, which I'm gonna be honest, I don't watch many Orlando magic games. I'll just be honest.
I don't I'm sorry.
Do you magic fans who were watching? I don't really watch many Orlando Magic games, Um, but I know Aaron when I've seen Aaron, Gordon is a not a consistent perimeter shooter, and he I think he should use his athleticism or maybe not with the jaw dropping dumps on the fast break, like in the post and stuff like that.
He could be really good.
And he's another guy that anytime I tell you something bad about him, people get a little too upset.
So I think we have to admit that Aaron Gordon is getting worse and it isn't really turning to where he is.
We have expectations every single year for this guy.
There's two magic players in here.
I I don't agree with Mark L.
I kind of agree with this one, though.
I feel like Eric Gordon's had been the number one option by now, and he's not.
So what I'm saying is that it's also time to give up on the belief that Aaron Gordon becomes like this all star player.
People are still hoping you will, you know Yes to change his game up, he has to start relying on the I'm kind of afraid that he won't because But after that dunk contest, he said, it's a wrap.
I'm not trying out for the dunk contest.
I want to try one of three point contest, so just put on some shows from getting making the threes.
Don't year a very dunker.
You are fun to watch on the break.
Just translate that to the real game.
He has good defensive tools, so he just needs toe.
Maybe stop relying on his premier shot to me too much.
He had his best season in 2018, and since then he's going in the wrong direction.
The past two years he hasn't made nearly as big of an impact on the Magic is he was expected, coming in as 1/4 overall pick.
That was compared to Shawn Marion and expected to play just like him.
They're similar defensively.
Shawn's better offensively.
Show him it's a better shooter, so I actually kind of That's not the best comparison.
Not think about it, But he hasn't now.
I will say they do still have very similar styles on defense.
Yeah, Aaron hasn't played as good as Sean did.
He is still a good player for him to have.
I'm not saying 2024 25 years old again.
I'm just saying I don't see him being the player people expect him to be.
I mean, after seeing how athletic he was in the dunk contest, I thought that was just becoming this sort of his career.
At this point Yeah, good as it gets for him.
From that point on, Zach Lavine has only gotten almost also hasn't and he's played six seasons in the NBA.
Think's seem drastically get better or anything. Wow.
What would have happened by now? True.
Now that I think about that, he had, like, 456 He's entering a seven.
Yeah, if that's the case, which it is, that is That's rough.
I Yeah, but I think that's it.
Okay, that's it for Austin Sweat.
And that's it for me as well.
Um, this is a fun one.
Most of them I kind of agree with.
I understand where he's coming from.
For all of these, it was a good video.
This was just a reaction.
I'm, um on, Um uh, Saturday Top 50 players in the N B.
I'm still getting that ready.
It's gonna be like, this is gonna be like this, um, similar style.
Just it's on a slide presentation, not a video, but yeah, that's gonna be it for me.
Thank you guys so much You're watching.
There's been some NBA news, eh? So I will probably talk about that in my OMG or I mean it would be like December something, right, So it's gonna be interesting.
So, yeah, it's gonna be it for me.
Thank you, guys. So much for watching.
Could be jam sports. Here.
It's a that was a MBA.
It's officially time to give up on according to Austin Sweat.
Um and yeah, thanks for watching.
Have a good rest of your evening night peace.
