on the show now.
And hey, we are up and running.
Can you hear me? Yeah, Yeah.
Oh, yeah, I got you, but I think our technical difficulty days are behind us.
We finally got this figured out.
First two shows What kind of a tragedy at the beginning.
Hey, Moose, you tweeted the wrong league.
Believe that? I did.
Okay, that's the co host.
Like I e pulled Sharman Jones on that one.
As much as I love my followers, I don't think we want random people hopping in.
Just Thio try to load up, join the show.
You should send you the Lincoln coffee.
So that's the messenger, kid.
Yeah, Yeah, I just put a tweet out with the link in it, so I probably should have done some tagging, but oh, well, I don't know what is going on from my hand.
Well, we could get started.
Give a three second pause for music.
I'm ready to go, man. That's slip.
Not got me going.
Oh, yeah, it's slipping.
That's always a banger.
Yeah, I get that.
Get flowing through your veins and get ready to get Oh, yeah, Alright.
Three second pause.
Welcome to the people's XFL show Podcast in the live stream where we talk about all things XFL and football the people's way hosted by myself.
Garrett from Iowa.
You find me on Twitter at Garrett from Iowa.
The show is at the People's XFL and my co host of brains in the operation Midnight X Moose.
How we doing tonight, homie? Oh, we're doing great.
How about yourself? I've been working on that.
Control my head for a minute, doing better than last week.
You know me Last week Got a little hair we're pulling through this week.
Yeah, we're gonna We're gonna make her happen real quick before we get into everything else.
I do have a little bit of personal news for anybody that is watching the show because of me.
And not because of the x f l.
I have gotten my gambling account unlocked.
So this week we will have picks flowing hot him again.
I've been locked out of that pitch for like, the last six days. It's been rough.
That had to be Harry.
Oh, yeah, this week.
And I was it and Mm.
Well, but all right, Moose we got some bills to pay.
That's what Europe.
All right, So last week was our first week, but we were affiliated with on rap sports, and from now on, that's where you can find us.
For all of our show updates and such, they'll push them out.
We'll push them out on our peoples, XFL, Twitter and Instagram.
But on up sports is really the you know they go to for everything even Besides, I'll say, I've shared if you're in the basketball gambling like Eric said football.
But those guys over there, they get deep in the anything over my head.
If you're into that, that's the place to be for you.
Them guys really didn't know.
Yeah, quick shout out for the week is Mr Alex Valdez.
I did not look up his at, but he's on Twitter and has some solid family pics.
Ham Corey easily even Perry other those guys.
That brainy accident comes to gambling stuff.
Well, so yeah, definitely been keeping my eye on eye on that and definitely looked at Alex's locks of the week and cried a little because I couldn't put any money on so but we got that fixed.
So we are good to go going forward, all right? And we are starting in hot this week with the news.
We had a little bit of an incident.
The Spring league last week, First topic.
I mean, I was looking for suggestions on what? To listen.
Uh, my buddy Moose there told me to listen to slip.
Yeah, I'm wired. Let's go.
What happened? Moose.
So Justin McMillan He had a I'm gonna say playing simply had horrendous game.
He completed one pass out of his like, five attempts, and the one completion resulted in a fumble recovered by the Alphas defense.
The US led Justin McMillan.
Thio Let's they have a physical altercation fight Caldas you make with the Alphas coach just went to the ground, beat the crap out of each other until they're poor report and just McMellon is no longer wrestler conquers.
They actually signed the Haydn seventh round draft pick this week.
Ah, so he's He's the new second.
I'm glad to see him gone.
There's no place for that that you take it from here because I know your theories.
Uh, now for those of you that don't know the spring league is a pay to play league.
These players are paying $2100 to get on the field and create film for NFL scouts.
I gotta give us, you know, what's their shot? Get on there, get some film, maybe get on an NFL team, maybe get on an XFL team.
Basically a non opportunity for them to get paid.
Cover your ears, kids.
Then that's ****ing moron out there trying to show off the stuff.
I know he had a rough game.
Hey, was probably frustrated.
Like to get in a fight with a coach on the sidelines as you're walking by.
What the **** are you thinking, man? It's just so frustrating, cause I mean, I know you're in the same shoes.
Neither one of us ever had.
I'm assuming I know I didn't, but I'm assuming neither one of us ever had a shot at making the show in any sports.
I mean, I was JV all star basketball in my in high school, and I quit after my sop****re year because I had more time on the pine than I did on the floor.
but where this guy had a shot.
He's out there trying to make his name.
He wants to put his film out so that everybody could see how good of a player he is.
And he could get his shot.
He's gonna fight a ****ing coach on the sidelines.
That's your film now, bro.
That's your film.
Every single plan, every single team that looks at your film from the spring leg is gonna see the fact that you boxed a ****ing coach, right? Yeah.
Just ****ing blows my mind.
Why? What are the reasoning? I mean, he don't like their names, but that that was a not smart move.
All right, We're probably never going to see the kid again, which is unfortunate for him, but he made his own bed.
You can't do that. ****.
There's no place for it.
I especially when you're just trying to get film out there.
That's your film now, bro.
Box and a coach.
I gave him back on a story.
You didn't even really look good at the start.
But I'm like he's a lefty, you know, May lefty punters, lefty quarterbacks, They have a soft spot in my heart, but Justin McMillan he's like, I don't know he's like that about Just say, the lefty quarterbacks are all the family party.
He's like one weird uncle. Nobody likes.
He's there because he's a lefty, but nobody likes.
Yeah, I don't even know what the hell he was doing in the game, because I mean and we're gonna get into this more later.
But Anderson came out hot.
Hey, ain't for freaking even the first half.
Can you do much better? He drives an absolute dime of a ball of any follow you, son.
I was invincible, you know, The invincible movie, eventual police senior.
After it's done, he was in the crowd to see it, too, and he said, I believe he said something about Anderson's arm is very impressive.
Yeah, well, the guy can sling.
I mean, I got the show going on in the back of the game, going tonight, going on in the background and you're slinging the ball all over the place.
Had a couple of not so great throws.
But you're out there to take shots.
You aren't out there.
You know, the NFL is looking for somebody to sit in the pocket and take sacks.
If you're on it, you don't want to pull a Justin McMillan.
If you're in this league, you want to show them your professional help.
If you go, I don't know.
Just actually, MacMillan didn't have the scuffle saying he he had to rough nights.
They Sumco trying to say, This kid's having a rough game, but he's staying level headed.
That's somebody I might be able to, you know, make something out of what you fight a coach, bro.
What about the note? Yeah, I mean, and at the very least, there's a lot of practice squad spots out there and you go practice squad to the squad.
I mean, who's gonna put this guy on the practice squad? He got in a fight with the coach? Nobody.
Yeah, and I love the spring league.
I love these guys.
I mean, obviously our show is focusing on a lot of the up and coming guys and guys that we think should have a shot in the league, so I don't really want disparage them.
But these guys in the spring League, they aren't 1st 2nd round picks.
You know they're there in the spring League for a reason, e.
I love them off.
I'd really like have really enjoy watching the games.
And But when you're in the spring wig, you don't have the clout of liken Antonio Brown or no ****.
And have somebody take another chance on you.
You do some stupid ****, you're done this league 70 And let's still do that.
Baffles my mind if you guys on the show the podcasts regardless, out sometime between now and like the end of the show when the podcast is up, I'll retweet it to the top of my feet if you want to see the fight so you guys could see Go, I have it or if you want to see it now, I'm just click media on my twitter and just scroll down.
It's like, maybe 10% down.
Yeah, because the guy had every chance to walk away from it.
And he chose that.
So he him He was the first one that he was the first one to extend our Yep.
Yeah, you just gotta keep on walking, so All right, move on a little bit. Get my blood pressure down.
One thing I was gonna mention at the top that I forgot.
This is the people's XFL show for the people.
So anybody out there watching on the comments feel free to drop questions me and moves both keeping an eye on them.
So anything you guys want to talk about, feel free questions, comments and alright, I'll give you a chance to settle down.
I'm gonna take care of some X f l players and made the NFL this week.
Yeah, there's been a lot of movement.
Well, last, like, three days I've been crazy, so Oh, no.
I would have been, uh, last night, actually break the news, Theoretically break the news because I didn't see anybody else do it. Right.
Georgia at the Vecchio signing, Uh, the Tennessee Titans.
He was the He kicked in a game for the Wildcats.
He had a field goal attempt, but where he really showcases the long field goals on the I believe, both the Raiders.
And he was with the Raiders and the focus in the NFL.
And he had a 55 year order in a 56 year order.
Born in Italy, he was a walk on at college.
It's on the crazy story, and they keep up.
The specialist talk is the actual starting punter for the Cowboys, Hunting is Wander, which I also put an article out on for xsl board to the You had two ponts, 1 39 1 40.
I mean, solid, but I mean, he only had two shots.
It's his first NFL game. There's a lot of variables.
Yeah, got returned either, did they? One of the fair cats, the other was, like very minimal under 10 yards.
Yeah, so I was pretty sure he was dead in about 40.
He netted almost 40 for both those funds.
So then the next to actually their quarterbacks veteran Josh Johnson, who completely blew up whenever he has the chance for the Wildcats.
He still plays like he's 26.
That's another guy.
Put the exactly like article about on how we could help the Niners.
That Niners Cuba room, aside from Jimmy G.
Is I mean, the talents there.
It just seems like they don't have the right coaching.
Mullins got a good arm *******.
Just I think our boy American help on this one.
He just needs a home down on the accuracy.
Yeah, and the biggest thing with Beth.
Third have said it before about Iowa players.
They come out strong mentally.
We won't talk about the current Iowa season, but generally they have cleaned it up after the first week.
But generally Iowa players, you're going to get somebody that goes out there and doesn't make mistakes, So I'm just I'm kind of surprised that better.
It hasn't been getting Mawr action, I really think because basically, right now, the 40 Niners have Jimmy G and I can't remember the other guy's name.
Nick Mullins is like to a and Beth.
Third is to be They don't really have a third string.
They're kind of splitting the second string stuff e.
I don't really understand it.
I think he's done a much better job than Nick does every time he comes out.
But and I'm definitely biased.
But E was shocked when I saw him third on the depth chart.
I really think he's definitely a backup Q B and in the right system could be a starter.
That's why I always thought too mhm.
But the next I felt can clocker it.
The next XFL guy to sign is the battle Hawks Q B. Jordan.
They all knew he signed toe Detroit lines.
He was on the Casey practice squad up until, like, two, maybe three weeks ago.
He was on that code list, and as soon as he was off of the drop them, I'm glad to see him get a shot in Detroit.
Him and match that I would have a fair amount of similarities was that most of them Dukan sling them all 60 yards with ease.
So behind Stafford, he could g o from, you know, like a let's just say like 68.
Overall, though, give it a year.
You're gonna be up like a mid eighties.
I see the Scott all image for him.
We'll definitely be interesting with Stafford because he's had some injury issues.
If they get down to like the last four weeks of the season and Detroit's out of it, they might give the kids and playing time.
See what you can dio.
Yeah, that's the way I see it.
I'd like to see it.
It seems like they're trying to either pawn Stafford off of trade or just move on from, uh, yeah, I just I don't know that guy.
He's one of the ones that confuses you because he was supposed to be.
He was supposed to be really good coming out of college, and you just I'm sure part of it is the fact that he's in Detroit, So but still, you would.
You would have thought he'd get a little bit of love, get a little bit better performance at some point when some stuff, right? Yeah, next topic.
Actually, the game is on right now in Spring league back to the Spring League last week.
Actually, right after the game, I talked with general skeevy Brian Scott about the game and that articles up on on rap sport you can find it on a plague on rap sports dot com Search Miss Gibson on the rap sports.
I'm gonna interrupt here one second.
Anybody watching this that wants to find out anything about these XFL players? Moos here is definitely the brains behind this.
This podcast, I mean and you want you want to know about players in the Spring League and the XFL.
He's kicking out probably 56 articles a week if not more.
So give him a follow given wrapped sports to follow his stuff out there.
And you get a lot of good information about these guys that aren't so well known.
Yeah, I love giving these underrated guys the attention they deserve, you know, because I'd rather write an article.
But I'm just gonna throw his name out here because I'm looking at him.
If I were to write article about Kevin Anderson, he would me and him go back like college like but either way, just pretend like I didn't know the odds of him reading my article on Same things are a lot higher than, like, Joe Burrow mats.
That big band, you know, that's the reason I like he's underrated God because they're not getting love.
If you want to read an article about Joe Burrow, you could go to ESPN Uh huh.
Or fox sports or NFL dot com and find 800 of them.
And they're all gonna say basically the same thing.
You wanna know about Kevin Anderson or Brian Scott? You got my boy moved.
So good night X moves on Twitter.
Now back onto the Brian, Brian Scott Topic.
Him and I talked after the game last week.
He was telling me how, but I asked him what it was like to play behind the NFL.
Veteran Cube, Zach Reading Burger.
He said those acts awesome, and he helped him a lot with football. Q.
And you just, you know, it's some.
He's almost like a mentor to him.
Like if he sees a little tweak, Scott could make a let him know they move together.
A cohesive unit.
That's the week, I think easily that the best quarterback room as a whole in the X f l, yeah, definitely.
So, yeah, just even watching the spring league and reading the articles you're putting out and just what I'm seeing for highlights and what not.
It could be a really exciting year in the XFL.
Yeah, I'd like to see that, because these guys air like Brian Scott.
Kevin Anderson, receiver Kent Shelby.
These guys are playing their heart.
If somehow they don't get to an NFL team, XFL should be calling them next year.
Well, technically, in a year and two months.
Yeah, he's not that hard.
They got arms. They're crazy.
Yeah, Any of these guys in the spring league that don't get a call from the NFL outside of that idiot McMillan that we've already talked about.
They should be getting a spot in the x f l get started on our buddy MacMillan again at the whole E.
Yeah, man, if you have anybody in, the columnist is watching the spring.
Lee, Drop your favorite players.
Let's get it. God.
Uh, eso on Spring league last week we got we did stat leaders and honorable mentions for players.
We wanted to talk about what you got on the staff leaders, Miss Stat leaders that q b We had McCloy, Bethel Thompson.
You completed 25 or 36 of us passes The dude he he showed his CFL skills.
Three, 322 yards.
He you put on a clinic and next up is Matthew Colburn Jr.
Russia is 188 yards.
That's that's crazy.
Pro Russia T t t reception.
Yeah, our our man Bug Howard pie tend showing up.
The bug man came to play the Big Boy Bog Heat.
This man averaged.
I believe we did the math last night.
87 yards per catch.
You call it 24 2449 yards, six receptions in the TV and Cedric O'Neill bone out to 57 rush yards.
But also, he showed up in the air to seven receptions with 63 yards.
I told my that's about it probably eight yards past.
That's pretty dank.
Yeah, I definitely showed up.
He wasn't on the stat list.
I put the list together and he was on the list.
But I definitely felt that because I mean yards 60 57 yards rushing. Isn't that big a deal.
63 Receiving isn't that big of a deal, But when the same player does together, that's almost 150 yards from the line in the game.
That's a solid game.
Yeah, I'll give it to Yes, definitely.
We got that, Lee.
I mean, honorable mention well, and I'm the stat leaders of men like that, the Q B.
When you say he put on an absolute clinic, I cannot believe that this guy will begin some books after that game.
Yeah, he, Like I said, I put the list together and he was the leading passer by, like, 113 140 yards.
Yeah, I think the closest guy to him was just a little over $200.
Oh, boy. Brian Scott.
We choose up on the honorable mentions, too.
Yeah, honorable mentions.
We had our boy, Kevin Anderson.
We he's been getting a lot of love from us, even not not just this show, but all our shows so far.
He played one half.
That's why he's on honorable mentions that stat leader, I do believe because basically only played one half and then they put MacMillan in.
And then MacMillan came back out because he punched the coats like a ****ing idiot on Anderson finished the game up, but they would have won that game.
Yeah, I mean, just first half alone, he was 12 or 15 or sorry.
Full game stats.
First half he was eight for eight, and then he ended up 12 or 15 with 151 yards and a TD.
And that's not even playing the whole game.
Well, that was very impressive.
Brian Scott, 17 for 37 220 yards, one TD and a two point conversion.
I think that two point landed him in the honorable mentions.
That's what that's what kept them alive.
And we had Wide Receiver Ket Shelby through exceptions or one TV 49 yards.
What was that? I just do it.
Shall we always go stand there? They just have to shout out my boy e fired.
Take it from him.
He was I believe I went through story, but before, but ensure he had an opportunity with the Chargers.
It didn't go as planned That landed him back home.
And he he was literally at all were in general working, and that's and he made it to the CFL.
But the season was canceled, so he was back in the spring league.
That shows you go from, you know, just being average do toe that if you have the skills.
Yeah, there's a spot for anybody that can chuck the ball.
So be, definitely like to see what? Where he ends up.
He's had, I believe, four receptions already tonight.
Yeah, I've definitely I've seen his name come up a couple of times I've been I was prepping for the show, listening to music had the game on in the background and catching bits and pieces.
We did have 102 yard interception return for the longest play of the year so far.
I know that hurt, but it was 102 yards.
It's got to be mentioned and it hurt 100 yards.
Yeah, 102 yards.
That that's a play picked off in the training all the way back.
So that was on it.
E a guy absolutely hyped for this one.
You know? I love kickers.
Yeah, Ricky a guy.
He hit from 33 37 41 48 50 for a perfect game kicking.
Yeah, I think the only reason he's not in the league is causing his brother.
Yeah, well, I mean, you go back right now.
Iowa's got one of the best kickers in the nation, that with Keith Duncan, and I don't I think hey might have had five in the game, but if he did that was his best.
55 is impressive.
They weren't chip shots either.
I mean, you had a couple shorter ones, but he hit 3/40 and total and won over 50 out of those one at 50 from those three.
Those air not chip shots.
I mean, even 33 37 isn't exactly a chip shot.
Yeah, even I told my was comparable to an extra point of getting shanked left and right in the NFL.
Well, and even watching the game tonight, it There's been at least two if not three mixed.
Missed extra points already.
Yeah, Kickers are My kickers are not having a good game in the current TSL game.
Oh, I don't know how to say the name.
The aviators kicker Toshiki Aceto from Japan he hit went off the upright.
Uh, mangle Shane too, I believe.
And I know the Yeah, the conquers guys shanked off the first.
I think the second one to I'm not 100% sure on that.
I saw at least two that were just wide wide by a couple 3 ft.
He drained the 50 yard er the this game in the 53 last week.
It's from deep where he showcases.
And so the shallow want to read a little shake, which that's not straining 53 shake it from 30.
Yeah, typically the opposite.
But, man, Yeah, no, this the Spring league is fun. Definitely.
Wanna pay attention to it, would you? Oh, yeah.
I think that's another TD for them.
But this man goes up for the extra point.
And spuul it's, um that a boy that was a hell of rushing touchdown to just lower your shoulder and drag about three people in with you.
Oh, yeah, that was awesome.
I didn't catch I didn't catch who it waas but joys of doing this and trying to watch the game.
But now OK, on to our next speech are kind of what we're doing here.
Getting ready for the getting ready for the upcoming XFL season.
We got a way to go, a ways to go.
So we're going through, uh, each show.
We're gonna do one game from the previous season.
We're just gonna work through a mine order week.
One week, two weeks, three weeks.
There were five weeks.
So we got 20 games to go through this week.
We have my Tampa Bay Vipers verse, New York, New York, Go with that very quick recap here.
Unfortunately, it's gonna be kind of a quick one because there's not a whole lot to talk about.
It started off New York.
McGloin had a one yard rush for the TV to cap off an eight play, 48 yard drive to put I'm up 60 and T.
Cook converted on the extra point to make it 70 Next up. McGloin.
It's like McGlynn's, uh, was the quarterback with one yard rush on the first touchdown second touchdown.
He completed a pass to Pearson and 12 yards to cap out of three play, 57 yard drive to put him up, 13, and Cook converted the conversion again to go 14 and McRaney right before half McRae.
And this was the Browns? Yep, finished off three plays, 37 yards to kick a 49 yard field goal.
Has the half expired to put him up 17.
Nothing at halftime.
Uh, Tampa Bay went 16, plays 77 yards and took on a for it took a field goal from Frank's 23 yards.
Thio make the scores 17 3.
And then, towards the end of the game, Summers for New York returned a fumble 27 yards for a final score of 23 to 3.
It was not a pretty game on either side of the ball.
Um, you look at before you get, I'm gonna give you a few numbers here that stuck out to me here before you get your takes on it.
But Tampa Bay outgained at New York overall, 394 yards to 226 beat them rushing 152 44 beat them, passing 244 yards to 182.
They also were over four in the red zone.
There's your difference right there.
New Yorkers in the red zone twice and scored twice.
Tampa Bay was in the red zone four times and came away with zero points from four visits to the red zone.
And, yeah, you can't win a game that way, and they almost doubled them up on the yardage and lost 23 3.
That's a rough game.
I mean, yeah, go ahead.
So one of the players of the games who e guess he kind of hit a little bit.
He's actually playing toe tonight in the spring league mixtures that three receptions, 49 yards had along the 27.
I mean, for a tight end and only and, uh, pretty much dead Aaron Murray only and only scoring three points.
I'll give it to him.
He probably took M V P for Tampa.
That's really the only person who kind of sticks out from Campo.
Besides Williams, who had had Williams down on my list to nine targets, six receptions, 123 yards, that that's a good game.
Yeah, no touchdowns at all from anybody, because it was only a field goal.
That's what I was writing down my players, my players.
I had Erin Murphy and Dan Williams because you look at the New York side even though they won.
And who do you pull from New York? Nobody.
Maybe I missed somebody, but I didn't see anybody that really had an impressive game.
Nobody e pulled one time to name Kobe Pearson.
That's only because he had the kind of touchdown.
Yeah, Yeah, I looked at him, too, and he had the touchdown.
But I don't remember what yards were, but what was, like, two receptions for 44 yards.
Okay, I was just I was gonna get, like, three for 50 going off memories.
So I wasn't too far off, right? Nobody stands out on offense and all for them.
Yeah, just frustrating.
Game, uh, looking through the highlights and watching again.
It was definitely really frustrating for Tampa Bay.
You can't put up.
You can't double offensive yards and lose the game.
That's just not how it's supposed to work by 20 points on all that. Yeah.
So definitely, definitely a little bit of a frustrating game on the big side.
And kind of the bigger thing we're we've been trying to get at is who went to these players.
Could be good in the NFL, and I'm gonna have to go with not a **** one on this game.
Yeah, I mean, nobody showcase their self on offense on that.
Looking over the defense of stats, there wasn't really a lot on defense either.
I mean, I would say the pipers.
The Vipers defense forced six punts, so their defense has Ah, hold it pretty well.
But there wasn't any really Stand out players.
Yeah, only the only answer that I'm gonna bunch of this dude's name.
He had three pass deflections for camping.
He's the best looking guy there is.
That's pretty sad when the number one stat for your D is three pass deflections.
That's a rough game.
It was just It was a rough game.
It was kind of unfortunate.
This was a week one game because I know they were trying The x f l as a whole is trying to come out hot.
I said I just watched highlights, but I would think I would think sitting through a game like this, where the winning the team that won by 20 punted six times would be frustrating to watch.
Oh, yeah, easily.
So who were gonna do next week, Miss? For the game? Yeah.
Who do we want? I gotta look here quick.
I don't even Yeah, you got me on the spot.
Yeah, well, I put myself on this box right down.
I didn't write down who are choices were alright.
Week one x f l s K Wildcats and rocks Next Wildcats and rough.
Next it ISS Let me write that down so I don't forget it when I'm looking stuff up later this week.
Next, Remember? Right, That was a fairly decent game.
Serves me well, We could only go up from here.
Yeah, this game was Dumpster five.
It definitely waas Well, you know that that's the way it's gonna go sometimes.
Especially new league.
Starting right out of the gate, you're gonna have some of those.
Yeah, it's week one.
Still, there's a ways to go for both teams and all the teams.
You can't really throw anybody under the bus too much right now.
Holy **** there Boxing again.
Well, hey, you, Whaley and somebody off the conquers e.
I just saw the end of it out of the corner of my eye there, But least that was on field.
I mean, if you're boxing field, that's, Oh, let's go.
Not the best, but it's It's definitely better than punching a coach on the sideline.
It's a completely different thing.
A little bit of shoving back and forth as you play.
That's different on the field.
Or keep it on the field.

I could even call my friend Brooke Miller.
He was crazy, and he's gonna be drawing a the people's XFL share next week.

Uh, tomorrow morning, if you wanna give it a listen for this week and then Wednesday morning for next week's Well, yeah, think that's that's most of our housekeeping stuff.
Correct? Yeah, upset the most of it.
There's a couple a couple of times a couple of interviews in the future we got We got a couple of random topics here that I wanted to throw in at the end just because they're fun.
Got some ****y topic.
The Sergio Castillo Castillo.
Am I saying that right? Probably Castillo Castillo chugging a Celtics locker room video has resurfaced, man, You love to see it this year.
Oh, that was just classic XFL stuff.
That's why you miss him.
I mean, the interviews on the sidelines, the locker room stuff.
I mean, you do that in the NFL, you're catching a fine.
The XFL is like, let us have all of it.
You know Slama Seltzer.
We'll have some beer chugging in the locker room We're fine with that.
I'll give it to the third sports media company that retweeted it air posted it.
I'll give it to him that they I for I kind of forgot about it.
I'll give each other.
They brought it back from the dead.
Oh, yeah, it was It was beautiful.
Just you love to see it.
And our boys, sir, you know, had a good game.
To what? To For two and two for two for field goals.
Three for three for P A.
Unfortunately, the Jets came up short because of the Jets, and Adam gazes their coach, Nick Folk, former, not X, a fiddle, but a f A player for the hot shots.
I was glad to see him get back to the league because he had that falling out in Tampa and nobody want to take a shot on.
Who is that Nick Folk Patriots kicker.
Yeah, he's been around.
That's why you're the brains of the show that asked me kickers, punters, underrated players.
I'm the dude to get Yep.
And then the last one, this is gonna be kind of up to you.
I got a hot Cowboys Dallas Cowboys Question.
If you feel like delving into the NFL moment, that okay? So Garrett Gilbert, former A F quarterback, got started out for Dallas this week.
He went 21 for 38 243 yards a TV and a pick and added three rushes for 28 yards, and the Cowboys almost knocked off the Steelers.
Ah, couple of the live shows that I comment on.
I dropped this question when they were talking about it, and it kind of got made fun of.
So I'm gonna explain myself a little bit.
This is purely hypothetical at this point, and I don't really see it happening.
I just think it's a fun hypothetical.
But the Cowboys air in the NFC East, which has the four worst teams in the NFL playing in it.
Yeah, so if Garrett Gilbert, starting for the Cowboys, takes him to a division win and then they upset first round and make a game of its second round, Do you resign, Dak Prescott? I don't waken Dio.
If we could dio, we could do it without you.
So why do we need.
If Gilbert can do it, he we'll make a simple comparison.
Gilbert's plane for like a ****y chicken sandwich from KFC.
Well, Doc is playing for the whole PNC Bank.
There is a big difference that's gonna free up salary that's gonna free up everything.
It's Gilbert can get it on stateless Gilbert.
There's not reason to go back.
Well, that was kind of my thoughts on it, because I'm a dad, cater and I would love.
I was hoping Andy Dalton would take him undefeated when he stepped in, and that obviously didn't work out.
But, you know, if you could if Gilbert could lead them to a division win and one or two playoff wins, what is probably unlikely? But if it could happen, I don't really see a reason toe.
You know, you put that hypothetical out there.
There's no reason to resign Deck because he has through time and time again.
He can't win the games that matter.
He's never won more than one player off game at risk.
Yeah, been there two years.
One year they had a wild card by wild card round by Lost, lost their first game and then the other year they lost in the wild card.
And then last year they had the playing game to win the division.
Lost Thio incredibly, which it seems like I'm beating a beating the drum again, being the horse to death on it.
But a very beat up Eagles team, which they're very beat up Eagles team again this year.
So I don't know what's going on there, but, yeah, they lost the game.
They should have one, and I don't know.
Cowboys fans seem to be very much against it, But just looking at what the Cowboys have done since Tax got there, I'm really surprised there's not more people wanting to move on from him, because every every year going into Week one, you put the Dallas Cowboys on paper and they're looking like a top 15 top 10 team in the NFL.
And every year they're struggling to win the NFC East.
You can never get it done when it matters.
Yeah, and yeah, great record overall or decent record overall, great record against under 500 teams than a horrible record against over 500 teams every year, So yeah, I don't know.
It could just be because I'm a dad, Cater.
I'm I'm not opposed to moving on from there.
I'm not a really big Cowboys fan to begin with, but I just from the outside wearing my Cowboys jersey last week.
But that's only because I'm an absolute Steelers hater on it was a Greg the legs or like Jersey.
Yeah, so yeah, I just anybody out there that's a Dallas fan.
I want to give me some feedback on that feel free, but I just I don't understand.
The Dallas Cowboys love affair with that Prescott.
I don't think he's that good.
I don't understand why everybody thinks he is.
He's an average.
Yeah, well, but that's about that's all I had.
Like I said, just a couple of random things to wrap to show up there.
That didn't really have much to do with the X f l.
But I thought were fun topics.
You got anything else for us this week with I'm all good.
Hey, thanks, everybody for checking in.
Like I said, podcast will be dropping sometime tonight so will be available on Spotify tomorrow morning.
People's XFL on Twitter to find it when it drops.
And he followed me at Garrett from Iowa and Moose at Midnight X Moose and the Unwrapped Sports Network.
Yeah, and that will be everything.
You'll have a good weekend.
