I'm sorry about that.
Everybody, um we had a slight WiFi issue as the WiFi disconnected, but I am back.
I was right in the middle of saying something about the future of S.
Um, if you all were not part of the first stream, though, I just talked about the main NFL news.
Big NFL news, including Steelers, Kobe, 19 situations, uh, injury reports and, um, new and new transactions on the NFL front.
Now let's get into the sports headlines.
Um, update we, Sean and I.
As you know, Sean has basically had to take a temporary leave due to school school and academics.
Both Sean and I are seniors in high school and will be going to college next year in the fall.
So this is a big year for us.
A big, chaotic year for us.
If any of you are parents or seniors yourselves.
You all know, um, how, how big of a year this is.
And then throw in Kobe 19.
It just gets even harder and Mork confusing and hectic.
And for that reason, I will be cutting down my sports headlines broadcast to Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Um, those are are the days that I actually have free time.
Um, and I don't have classes all day through this online learning.
So Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, Um, about 11 to 11. 15.
Start time until probably, um, 12, 12.
So you could be looking to, you know, an hour hour and a half stream Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
And then Sean, um, may or may not be joining us.
He may or may not be joining us later with a, you know, surprise gas appearance.
As he's done, I think twice, Um, so far.
So that's the sports headlines update.
Um, be sure that you go watch the part one of this stream, um, disconnected on me, right? As I was getting into that, Let's go to re capping the NFL weekend, though, starting with Thursday Night Football, my Green Bay Packers played the San Francisco 40 Niners.
And let's just say it wasn't that close.
Um, the score says 34 17 49 to score two touchdowns in garbage time, just like the Vikings did in week one.
Um, this did not really ease my concerns, though, as a ****stan, um, we gave up 3.
2 yards on the ground.
Um Jerick McKinnon, the third string running back really for the Niners, had 12 carries for 52 yards.
And then Jermichael Hasty, the fourth string quarter air running back for the Niners, carried the ball four times for three yards.
MacKinnon also had a rushing touchdown on the night.
Erin Jones 15 carries for 58 yards.
Um, Tyler Irving had eight for 24.
Those were the two notable Russian leaders for Green Bay.
UH, quarterback play.
The was outstanding as usual, as you are accustomed to as a Green Bay Packer fan like myself.
Aaron Rodgers, 25 or 31 had a really a great game, 305 yards through the air and four touchdowns to no interceptions, um, on outstanding game for him.
Nick Mullins through 22 completions on 35 attempts for 290 yards and one touchdown, as well as one interception.
Um, so the obvious evidence quarterback play disparity proved to be another advantage for Green Bay.
Davante Adams stays producing 10 catches, 173 yards and a touchdown.
Marquis Valdas, canceling the man with brick hands, caught two catches, both went for touchdowns.
He had 53 yards on the night.
Tyler Irving also caught the ball four times for 48 yards, and Erin Jones cut the ball five times for 21 yards.
Richey James Jr.
Um the the facto number one because Deebo, Samuel, George Kittel and Brandon I.
You all missed the game.
Kittel and Samuel due to injury.
And I you do to Cove in 19 protocol.
Nine catches for 184 yards and touchdown to Richie James Jr.
Um Ross Dwell e.
Caught the ball three times for 52 yards.
Jerick McKinnon caught the ball three times for 16 yards.
Za'darius Smith recovered a fumble from Nick Mullins.
Um, and Sack Wise.
The Green Bay Packers had one sack due to Za'darius Smith and Rave in Green had the interception off of Nick Mullins.
The San Francisco 40 Niners had one sack on the night as well.
Jordan Willis, the former bangle, got that sec.
Um, for for the 40 Niners, really, it was a dominant game by Green Bay to garbage time touchdowns in the fourth quarter by the Niners after Screen Bay basically took most of their starters out.
Erin Jones didn't play the full game because he's coming off injury on Davante.
Adams, despite not playing full game, had a spectacular game.
10 catches for 173 yards and one touchdown.
Davante Adams is on historic on a historic course.
Um, he and arguably the greatest receiver of all time, um, have really done a feat that no receiver has done.
He's got caught 13 catches for 196 yards and seven catches for 53 yards, but three touchdowns and then 10 catches for 173 yards and a touchdown.
So he's got six touchdowns in the last three weeks as well as, um, just over, actually, just under 400 yards.
Um, he has been great this season.
Four green bag and a nightmare for opposing defenses.
And keep in mind he has missed a game and a half.
Yet still, um, coming into Sunday was the league leader in terms of receiving.
Now, of course, that has changed.
Um, do too other other teams having their games.
But the receiving leaders, uh, this year in receiving yards are Stefon Diggs with 813 d. K.
Metcalf is a now in second with 788 yards.
Um, keep in mind.
He's only in his second season.
Travis Kelsey has 769 yards in third place.
Robert Anderson is actually the fourth receiver, UM, with 751 yards.
DeAndre Hopkins 734 yards are the top five.
Davante Adams is eight right now with 675 yards and eight touchdowns despite missing a game and a half for Green Bay.
Also, he is second in the league and touchdowns with D K Metcalf Onley trailing Tyreek Hill with nine again despite missing a game and a half eso great season so far by Davante Adams, Aaron Rodgers as well, He has been a force to reckon with in every game except for one.
Of course, that being the Tampa Bay game probably Green Bay's biggest game of the year so far.
Um, also to anyone who watched that New Orleans Tampa Bay game, this is why it's so hard to do power women's because Green Bay has beat New Orleans, Tampa be Green Bay, New Orleans smack Tampa.
But then Chicago hung in with Tampa, but then Chicago's lost three straight.
The Cardinals beat the fully healthy 40 Niners and then the Seahawks.
But then they just lost you.
The Dolphins, who aren't a bad team but aren't a really good team, either.
And then the Bills beat the Seahawks by scoring 44 points after only scoring 18 against the Jets.
It's a It's a hectic NFL season.
And for any of you who has to make power rankings or even just debate with with a friend or with your dad, who's the better team? Um, I I feel I know how you feel.
It is it is very hectic.
Power rankings will be coming later on in the week, Um, passing yards wise.
By the way, I'll just finish off some statistical rankings.
Matt Ryan, 2746 yards s so far on the season, completely 67% of his past. Like passes.
Patrick Mahomes is second with 2687 yards through the air.
Josh Allen comes in third place, throwing for so far two 1005 147 587 Russell Wilson and 4th 2541 and Teddy Bridgewater is the fifth quarterback in terms of passing with 2416 yards through the air.
Um, touchdown wise, the league leader in touchdowns.
Russell Wilson, 28 touchdowns with only eight interceptions on the on the year, although he has had to really messy games.
Mahomes has 25 touchdown, one interception and Aaron Rodgers has 24 touchdowns with two picks.
Hey has a comfortable four touchdown lead on Tom Brady, who's in fourth with 20 touchdowns and then Ryan Tannehill and Josh Allen or tied for fifth with 19 touchdowns on the season.
Um, the league leader in Q b r Aaron Rodgers still leads the league in Q b r.
Despite that message game against Tampa.
7 passenger homes in second with 84.8.
So full three points behind Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees actually is the third place quarterback, 82 point 9/4 and fifth go to Russell Wilson and Ryan Fitzpatrick, both over 80.
Russell Wilson has 80.
5, Fitzpatrick has 80.
1, and Fitzpatrick was benched.
Four um, to a tongue by low.
Um, those are actually the only quarterbacks in the 80 range 80 plus range.
Um, those are the top five quarterback rating, though different from Q B, are not as good, quite frankly, ah, 117.
5 for Aaron Rodgers.
Russell Wilson has 117.
1, Patrick Mahomes 115.
910 point three for Drew Brees and 110.
0 for Derek Carr.
Although keep in mind um, cute Q B R is more important in a better stat in quarterback rating.
Andi, Just for fun, just to throw some shade towards some bad teams.
Sack leaders, The quarterbacks we've gotten sacked the most.
Carson Wentz has gotten sacked 32 times already.
It is a wonder that the Eagles and and he are doing as well as they're doing in.
Despite that, they're not doing very well at all.
Joe Burrow has gotten sacked the second most times tie with Daniel Jones for 28.
Russell Wilson into Shawn Watson are the 4th and 5th ranked quarterbacks, each speeding sacked 24 times.
Um, I will say it is for Daniel Jones and then, especially Russell Wilson and Shawn Watson.
It is likely that they're sacked totals have been because of them scrambling and moving in and out of the pocket so much. Also.
Russell Wilson does have to play against Aaron, Donald and the Rams twice a year.
Um, and Aaron Donald is going to get his nearly every game.
Um, now moving on.
Let's go to some Russian leaders real quick.
Dalvin Cook's leading the league in rushing 858 yards.
He is on pace for ridiculous season, statistical, ridiculous statistical cities and averaging six yard to carry.
Derrick Henry has 843 and then nobody else's clothes.
Josh Jacobs climbed over.
Blair and Todd Gurley are 34 and 5, 588 586 and 584 respectively.
Kyler Murray is the top quarterback in terms of Russian.
He's the eighth ranked Russia in the league.
Eight best Russia in the league, 540 three yards and, UH, eight scores for Kyler Murray.
So he doesn't more than just through the air.
Um, let's go to another game, though.
In Week nine, Seattle and Buffalo.
What a game between those two future powerhouses in terms of the Bills and then powerhouse for the Seahawks.
Russell Wilson, two touchdowns, two picks.
Threw for 390 yards on 28 completions.
Not a great game from Russell Wilson.
Yeah, I threw for a lot of yards.
Yeah, threw two touchdowns, but he also threw two interceptions, which, um, when you only lose the game by 10 points.
Those two extra possessions are very, very important.
Josh Allen played a clean game 415 yards through the air on 31 completions, three touchdowns, No pics.
Josh Allen had a great game, Um, for the Rams.
The air for the Bills.
Buffalo really did not do anything on the ground.
Zack Maas carried the ball nine times for 18 yards.
Josh Allen at seven rushes for 14 yards.
Each of them had a touchdown, but nothing special there.
D J Dallas seven carries, 31 yards and a touchdown as well as Russell Wilson had a Russian touchdown on the day.
Uh, really, the big bucks were made in terms of receiving yards.
The top two receivers played in terms of yardage played in this game.
Stefon Diggs had nine catches, 418 yards and took the lead over Nuke Hopkins in Arizona this week for the receiving leader.
John Brown also had eight catches for 99 yards and Gabriel Davis four catches, 70 yards and a touchdown.
Isaiah Mackenzie Tyler Kroft each had one catch.
Both of them were touchdowns.
Metcalf, The Man, The Myth, The Monster of D. K. Metcalf.
Seven catches, 108 yards and a touchdown.
David More four catches for 71 yards and a touchdown as well.
Tyler Lockett was held relatively in check, four catches for 40 yards on a seven targets on the night.
Russell Wilson also fumbled the ball twice and lost the ball twice.
He had four total turnovers and three scores to to passing and one rushing.
True, Davis White and A.
Klein each had fumble recoveries, and today vis White enjoyed employer had the two interceptions for Buffalo.
So messy a sloppy game by Russell Wilson.
They only lost by 10.
That just shows you how good this Seattle team really is.
Um, despite, you know, giving the Bills for extra possessions off of turnovers.
They only lose by 10 points, and you know what the defense has got to be able to bend and not break.
That's what they famously did with the Legion of Boom.
That's what they did for a few years after the Legion of Boom.
But now they're just breaking and breaking and breaking and cannot get back together.
Jamal Adams was not the difference maker that Ah lot of people thought he would be, and the Bill scored 44 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter to win the game.
Um, sack wise A.
Klein had to *** Tremaine Edmunds had a sack.
Mario Addison and Jerry Hughes all had ***.
Five sacks on the night for the Bills.
Um, 2.5 sacks for Geron read.
Carlos Dunlap, in his Seattle debut, had a sack in three tackles for loss.
Jamal Adams had a sack and a half in KJ.
Wright also had a sack.
So a lot of pressure and sloppy play for the Seahawks in this game.
Not what you want to see if you're a Seahawks fan, Um, and then Carolina and Casey great game from those these two teams.
Teddy Bridgewater has played very, very well through the ball 49 times, um completed 36 of them for 310 yards, two touchdowns.
No pics on the night.
And then Patrick Mahomes was even better.
30 completions on 45 attempts, 372 yards, four touchdowns.
Great game for him.
Clyde, I was aware, only cared about five times for 14 yards and had no touchdown.
Not a great, uh, night rushing.
They only ran the ball 12 times in total for 30 yards.
5 yards per carry for the Chiefs.
20 for Russia's in total for the Panthers.
Chris McCaffrey had 18 of those for 69 yards.
Um, and a touchdown.
Teddy Bridgewater also had a rushing touchdown.
He ran the ball twice for 19 yards.
Um, Curtis Samuel was the leading receiver in terms of yardage.
Nine catches, 105 yards, Also on.
He had three rushes for 13 yards on the ground.
He got a touchdown through the air.
Christian McCaffrey, 10 catches, 82 yards and a touchdown, Uh, for his two touchdown day.
Robby Anderson, nine catches, 63 yards.
Moore. Only two catches for 18 yards.
Um, for the Chiefs.
The Marcus Robinson fumbled the ball, and Thomas, also some of the ball.
Um, the Panthers recovered their fumble and recovered The Chiefs fumble.
Um, so a good job defensively for the Panthers.
Um, at least in terms of recovering that fumble, they did give up 33 points.
Um, we saw sack wise Onley.
Sam Franklin got home for the Panthers and to *** one for Frank Clark.
And the other sack came from Chris Jones, the two big guys on the defensive line for the Kansas City Chiefs.
As I said earlier, um, Joey Slide did miss two field goals, although one was a 67 yarder.
Um, that could have proved the difference, Um, in this game.
But by no means is this game solely on Joey Slide for missing this, Um, this these those two field goals, um, Carolina now falls to three and six.
They are tied for last place in the division with Atlanta.
Although they are far better team than Atlanta is, um, in my eyes.
Kansas City, of course, eight and one in the tops of a F C West.
Um, we saw Minnesota put together two game winning streak, beating Detroit by two scores, 34 to 20.
Atlanta squeaked by Denver, 34 to 27.
The Raiders beat the Chargers last second.
The Chargers have lost all six of their games by one score or less.
That is eight or less points.
The biggest loss was by seven, but the game that I really want to get to the best team record wise in the NFL against the most laughable team in the NFL.
70 coming into this game.
The Cowboys, two and six.
Coming into this game, Uh, Garrett Gilbert, the fourth string Q B played for Dallas completed 21 passes on 38 attempts, 243 yards a touchdown and the pick Big Ben, 29 for 42 360 yards with three touchdowns.
Mason Rudolph also threw the ball three times, Completed twice for three yards.
Uh, in his limited action, um, the Steelers really could not run the ball at all.
James Connor held in Jack 2.
4 yards to carry nine carries for 22 yards.
Um, and and Benny Snell Jr had three carries for only one yard, averaging less than a yard for Kerry.
Tony Pollard was leading rusher.
What a surprise.
Nine carries for 57 yards, averaging 6.
3 on the ground, more than doubling Ezekiel Elliott 18 carries for 51 yards, two 0.
8 yards on the ground.
Um, not what you want to see from a $90 million running back on the Cowboy CD. Land.
Four catches, 71 yards and a touchdown.
Um, Ammar Cooper five catches for 67 yards and Dalton Schultz had four for 48 for the Cowboys.
Juju Smith, Schuster.
Ah, kee! Touchdown Late.
Six catches for 93 yards and that touchdown.
Deontay Johnson six catches for 77 yards.
What a playmaker he is and shake Chase Claypool eight catches for 69.
Eric Ebron and James Washington caught the other two touchdowns from Ben Roethlisberger, making Fitzpatrick recovered a fumble from CD Lamb.
The Lamb fumble the ball.
He also got an interception, so he really was the key to that defense.
Um, for the Steelers.
Great game for him.
Um, Cameron Heyward had half a sack and Alex Highsmith had a Saca's Well, t j.
Watt had half a sack himself.
So this game, honestly, for me, Pittsburgh had to come back in this game, they were down.
They were down, e.
I mean, they lost every quarter up to the fourth.
They were down a total of 19 to 9.
They scored 15 straight in the fourth quarter win 24 19.
That is, That is the Steelers are on a weird spot right now, where if they can't run the ball, they have to lean on Ben Roethlisberger.
And while he can come through it is going to take a little while.
And, um, he it's gonna be a very, very close game.
And this defense surprisingly, gave up a lot more points than I thought they would.
Especially considering the Pittsburgh Steelers did not turn the ball over once on offense.
Um, and Dallas almost ended up winning this game on on the last second drive by Garrett Gilbert.
Um, not a bad performance there.
Although by no means is Garrett Gilbert gonna be their franchise quarterback moving forward.
That were main Dak Prescott and two more games.
I'm gonna recap the New Orleans Saints.
Just absolutely stiff arm Tom Brady straight into the turf.
Taking over, Um the career we'd and touchdown passes.
No pics, UH, 222 yards through the air.
Was only sacked three times, for a total of 3.8.
Q b r Taysom Hill threw the ball twice for 48 yards and James Wilson threw the ball one time.
Completed his past to his team for 12 yards.
He will also carry the ball seven times for 54 yards.
Hey, was leading rusher Alan Camera uh, nine carries, 40 yards and a touchdown.
Um, on the day for him.
Ronald Jones three carries, nine yards, linen for net one carry no yards and Blaine Gabbert one carry for one yard as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a grand total of five carries for eight yards.
Um, that is a 1.
Terrible, Terrible game for Tampa Bay.
Michael Thomas in his week back.
Five catches, 51 yards.
Deontay Harris had a big catch for 40 yards.
Um, the touchdowns.
The were caught by Adam Troutman.
Three catches, 39 yards and a touchdown.
Emmanuel Sanders with four catches and a touchdown trick.
Juan Smith had um himself a catch and a touchdown, and Josh Hill, on his two catches, had one touchdown.
Um, Drew Brees and Jared Cook both lost fumbles.
Eric McCoy, um, also fumble the ball.
How can your center from the ball? Who knows? But it was not lost.
Lavonte David and Mike Edwards were both credited with the fumble recoveries.
Interception wise for the Saints.
Um, again, they got three of them off.
Tom Brady, Marcus Williams, Malcolm Jenkins and David on Yamada.
All had the interceptions, Um four, the for the New Orleans Saints.
And this was just the beat.
This again is what makes power ranking so hard to do because you have the six and two Saints who beat the Bucks twice on the season.
Especially this in outstanding fashion.
They're actually giving up less points per game.
Then the the not to raise the Tampa Bay Bucks are which statistically is a better defense.
All of the Bucks air praised for their elite defense this season, Um, they have both tiebreaker games, this dominant tiebreaker game.
They have a better record.
Yet the Bucks seemed to be a better team on paper.
Antonio Brown also debuted this week.
Um, he hey had three catches for 31 yards in his return to the NFL.
Um, so not a great debut game for him.
Or really for the Panthers, for the Buccaneers as a whole.
Um, again, this is what makes power ranking so hard.
It's It's, you know, the Saints, the Bucks, Packers, the Ravens the I mean, the Chiefs are really the only team that you are 100% sure about that.
They are a top three team, Um, and they will be a contender.
You don't know about the Seahawks.
Russell Wilson has had, um, in recent memory to multi interception games.
You threw three interceptions against the Cardinals.
If you remember that game, the famous DK chased down on Buddha Baker game and then hey through to this week.
So Russell Wilson is a bona fide all time great quarterback, likely a first ballot Hall of Famer.
Um, but Seattle has no defense, and they have a very explosive but risky offense, as evidenced by the recent turnovers from Russell Wills, Russell Wilson.
I believe I said he had eight interceptions so far on this season, Um, and just, you know, we've seen the Packers have to ugly losses.
We've seen the Bucks have now too ugly losses.
Um, we we see Arizona have some beautiful winds, but then they lost to Miami, who's had some great winds, but also some ugly losses.
Um, New England barely squeaked past New York.
Um, Minnesota is now on a two game winning streak.
The Panthers gave the Chiefs to run for the money or the Panthers.
But then again, they have the same record as the Falcons, which I know is not anything to hang your hats on.
Because Falcons are one of the weirdest teams honestly, in NFL history, just giving up double digit leads.
You get a win, you gonna win, you get a win Oprah Winfrey style.
But let's move on to the Patriots beating the Jets on a last second field goal.
And that way, Sean beating my fantasy team because of Joe Flacco's one interception that he 30 33 touchdown and one pick one of those touchdowns was to Jamison Crowder receiver on my team that would have given me the win.
But then he decided, You know what? I don't like Warner I'm gonna throw an interception.
You just got picked up by Sean because his corner was on by How about we throw into you So war loses and ends up.
Um, losing his second game all season, both to his division rival.
Yeah, I I am not living that one down right now in our group check, but, um, Joe Flacco three touchdowns on Lee Threw for 262 yards through the air.
Breshad Perriman Five catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns.
Four for 62 on then, of course, James and Ground or two for 26 with the touchdown.
Um for for for the Patriots. Cam Newton.
Very, very game manager.
No touchdown, no pics.
Damian Harris ran the ball 14 times for 71 yards.
He did go to the locker room early.
Her shoulder malady Rex Burkhead then took up the slack.
Ran for a touchdown came Newton ran for two touchdowns despite only having 16 yards on the night receiving was Jacoby Meyers, 12 catches for 169 yards.
Um, Jameer Burn at five for 65.
James White had four for 24 um, James Watson with the ball, but the Patriots were able to recover.
And then sack wise, uh, Dietrich Weise Jr had a sack for the Patriots.
And then, um, no sacks for the Jets on the night men.
The Jets just somehow want to be competitive now, even though their own nine and Adam Jace, it really looks like the Jets were just trying to lose games and trying to lose games.
They had a time out left to burn on the last second field goal.
I mean, first of all, they played some really, really poor cover to man with the corner.
It wasn't it wasn't a particularly great route ran by the receiver.
Um, but the corner relax.
His coverage Mark is made.
The safety then went way too far over the top.
He bailed before the snap.
You got way too far down field.
You gotta know positional situational football where you are on the field.
Really? The 35 yard line is the edge of field goal range for most kickers.
Um, and the patriots got that completion.
They took a time out the Jets had a time out to burn.
They did not elect to take it.
And the Patriots nailed the game winning field goal, um, to secure their win over the Jets.
Um, an ugly, ugly game for the Patriots, but a win nonetheless.
The Patriots record now is three and five there, one and three on the road.
And, of course, the Jets.
09 worst team in the league, by far by far by a lot, especially after the Cowboys performance this week against the Steelers.
No way is me saying that I think the Cowboys are now going to be a competitive team.
Um, for the weeks to come, that is its That's gonna be it for this episode of Sports headlines.
